Romans 6

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?ആകയാൽ നാം എന്തു പറയേണ്ടു? കൃപ പെരുകേണ്ടതിന്നു പാപം ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരിക്ക എന്നോ? ഒരുനാളും അരുതു.

God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?പാപസംബന്ധമായി മരിച്ചവരായ നാം ഇനി അതിൽ ജീവിക്കുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ?

Know all of you not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?അല്ല, യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിനോടു ചേരുവാൻ സ്നാനം ഏറ്റവരായ നാം എല്ലാവരും അവന്റെ മരണത്തിൽ പങ്കാളികളാകുവാൻ സ്നാനം ഏറ്റിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ?

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.അങ്ങനെ നാം അവന്റെ മരണത്തിൽ പങ്കാളികളായിത്തീർന്ന സ്നാനത്താൽ അവനോടുകൂടെ കുഴിച്ചിടപ്പെട്ടു; ക്രിസ്തു മരിച്ചിട്ടു പിതാവിന്റെ മഹിമയാൽ ജീവിച്ചെഴുന്നേറ്റതുപോലെ നാമും ജീവന്റെ പുതുക്കത്തിൽ നടക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.

For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:അവന്റെ മരണത്തിന്റെ സാദൃശ്യത്തോടു നാം ഏകീഭവിച്ചവരായെങ്കിൽ പുനരുത്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ സാദൃശ്യത്തോടും ഏകീഭവിക്കും.

Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.നാം ഇനി പാപത്തിന്നു അടിമപ്പെടാതവണ്ണം പാപശരീരത്തിന്നു നീക്കം വരേണ്ടതിന്നു നമ്മുടെ പഴയ മനുഷ്യൻ അവനോടുകൂടെ ക്രൂശിക്കപ്പെട്ടു എന്നു നാം അറിയുന്നു.

For he that is dead is freed from sin.അങ്ങനെ മരിച്ചവൻ പാപത്തിൽ നിന്നു മോചനം പ്രാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:നാം ക്രിസ്തുവിനോടുകൂടെ മരിച്ചു എങ്കിൽ അവനോടുകൂടെ ജീവിക്കും എന്നു വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു.

Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dies no more; death has no more dominion over him.ക്രിസ്തു മരിച്ചിട്ടു ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റിരിക്കയാൽ ഇനി മരിക്കയില്ല; മരണത്തിന്നു അവന്റെമേൽ ഇനി കർത്തൃത്വമില്ല എന്നു നാം അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ.

For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he lives, he lives unto God.അവൻ മരിച്ചതു പാപസംബന്ധമായി ഒരിക്കലായിട്ടു മരിച്ചു; അവൻ ജീവിക്കുന്നതോ ദൈവത്തിന്നു ജീവിക്കുന്നു.

Likewise reckon all of you also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.അവ്വണ്ണം നിങ്ങളും പാപ സംബന്ധമായി മരിച്ചവർ എന്നു ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിൽ ദൈവത്തിന്നു ജീവിക്കുന്നവർ എന്നും നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ എണ്ണുവിൻ.

Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that all of you should obey it in the lusts thereof.ആകയാൽ പാപം നിങ്ങളുടെ മർത്യശരീരത്തിൽ അതിന്റെ മോഹങ്ങളെ അനുസരിക്കുമാറു ഇനി വാഴരുതു,

Neither yield all of you your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.നിങ്ങളുടെ അവയവങ്ങളെ അനീതിയുടെ ആയുധങ്ങളായി പാപത്തിന്നു സമർപ്പിക്കയും അരുതു. നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ മരിച്ചിട്ടു ജീവിക്കുന്നവരായും നിങ്ങളുടെ അവയവങ്ങളെ നീതിയുടെ ആയുധങ്ങളായും ദൈവത്തിന്നു സമർപ്പിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ.

For sin shall not have dominion over you: for all of you are not under the law, but under grace.നിങ്ങൾ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്നല്ല, കൃപെക്കത്രെ അധീനരാകയാൽ പാപം നിങ്ങളിൽ കർത്തൃത്വം നടത്തുകയില്ലല്ലോ.

What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.എന്നാൽ എന്തു? ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്നല്ല കൃപെക്കത്രെ അധീനരാകയാൽ നാം പാപം ചെയ്ക എന്നോ? ഒരുനാളും അരുതു.

Know all of you not, that to whom all of you yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants all of you are to whom all of you obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?നിങ്ങൾ ദാസന്മാരായി അനുസരിപ്പാൻ നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ സമർപ്പിക്കയും നിങ്ങൾ അനുസരിച്ചു പോരുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവന്നു ദാസന്മാർ ആകുന്നു എന്നു അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ? ഒന്നുകിൽ മരണത്തിന്നായി പാപത്തിന്റെ ദാസന്മാർ, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ നീതിക്കായി അനുസരണത്തിന്റെ ദാസന്മാർ തന്നേ.

But God be thanked, that all of you were the servants of sin, but all of you have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ പാപത്തിന്റെ ദാസന്മാർ ആയിരുന്നുവെങ്കിലും നിങ്ങളെ പഠിപ്പിച്ച ഉപദേശരൂപത്തെ ഹൃദയപൂർവ്വം അനുസരിച്ചു

Being then made free from sin, all of you became the servants of righteousness.പാപത്തിൽനിന്നു സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം ലഭിച്ചു നീതിക്കു ദാസന്മാരായിത്തീർന്നതുകൊണ്ടു ദൈവത്തിന്നു സ്തോത്രം.

I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as all of you have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.നിങ്ങളുടെ ജഡത്തിന്റെ ബലഹീനതനിമിത്തം ഞാൻ മാനുഷരീതിയിൽ പറയുന്നു. നിങ്ങളുടെ അവയവങ്ങളെ അധർമ്മത്തിന്നായി അശുദ്ധിക്കും അധർമ്മത്തിന്നും അടിമകളാക്കി സമർപ്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഇപ്പോൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ അവയവങ്ങളെ വിശുദ്ധീകരണത്തിന്നായി നീതിക്കു അടിമകളാക്കി സമർപ്പിപ്പിൻ.

For when all of you were the servants of sin, all of you were free from righteousness.നിങ്ങൾ പാപത്തിന്നു ദാസന്മാരായിരുന്നപ്പോൾ നീതിയെ സംബന്ധിച്ചു സ്വതന്ത്രരായിരുന്നുവല്ലോ.

What fruit had all of you then in those things whereof all of you are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.നിങ്ങൾക്കു അന്നു എന്തൊരു ഫലം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു? ഇപ്പോൾ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ലജ്ജ തോന്നുന്നതു തന്നേ. അതിന്റെ അവസാനം മരണമല്ലോ.

But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, all of you have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.എന്നാൽ ഇപ്പോൾ പാപത്തിൽനിന്നു സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം പ്രാപിച്ചു ദൈവത്തിന്നു ദാസന്മാരായിരിക്കയാൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ലഭിക്കുന്ന ഫലം വിശുദ്ധീകരണവും അതിന്റെ അന്തം നിത്യജീവനും ആകുന്നു.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.പാപത്തിന്റെ ശമ്പളം മരണമത്രേ; ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കൃപാവരമോ നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിൽ നിത്യജീവൻ തന്നേ.

Romans 7

Know all of you not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law has dominion over a man as long as he lives?സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ന്യായപ്രമാണം അറിയുന്നവരോടല്ലോ ഞാൻ സംസാരിക്കുന്നതു: മനുഷ്യൻ ജീവനോടിരിക്കും കാലത്തൊക്കെയും ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്നു അവന്റെമേൽ അധികാരമുണ്ടു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ?

For the woman which has an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he lives; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.ഭർത്താവുള്ള സ്ത്രീ ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഭർത്താവിനോടു ന്യായപ്രമാണത്താൽ ബന്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. ഭർത്താവു മരിച്ചാൽ അവൾ ഭർത്തൃന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽനിന്നു ഒഴിവുള്ളവളായി.

So then if, while her husband lives, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.ഭർത്താവു ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവൾ വേറെ പുരുഷന്നു ആയാൽ വ്യഭിചാരിണി എന്നു പേർവരും; ഭർത്താവു മരിച്ചു എങ്കിലോ അവൾ വേറെ പുരുഷന്നു ആയാൽ വ്യഭിചാരിണി എന്നു വരാതവണ്ണം ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽനിന്നു സ്വതന്ത്രയാകുന്നു.

Wherefore, my brethren, all of you also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that all of you should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.അതുകൊണ്ടു സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നാം ദൈവത്തിന്നു ഫലം കായ്ക്കുമാറു മരിച്ചിട്ടു ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റവനായ വേറോരുവന്നു ആകേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങളും ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ശരീരം മുഖാന്തരം ന്യായപ്രമാണസംബന്ധമായി മരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.നാം ജഡത്തിലായിരുന്നപ്പോൾ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്താൽ ഉളവായ പാപരാഗങ്ങൾ മരണത്തിന്നു ഫലം കായ്ക്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം നമ്മുടെ അവയവങ്ങളിൽ വ്യാപരിച്ചുപോന്നു.

But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.ഇപ്പോഴോ, നമ്മെ പിടിച്ചടക്കിയിരുന്ന ന്യായപ്രമാണം സംബന്ധിച്ചു മരിച്ചിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു അക്ഷരത്തിന്റെ പഴക്കത്തിലല്ല ആത്മാവിന്റെ പുതുക്കത്തിൽ തന്നേ സേവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നാം ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽനിന്നു ഒഴിവുള്ളവരായിരിക്കുന്നു.

What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, You shall not covet.ആകയാൽ നാം എന്തു പറയേണ്ടു? ന്യായപ്രമാണം പാപം എന്നോ? ഒരുനാളും അരുതു. എങ്കിലും ന്യായപ്രമാണത്താൽ അല്ലാതെ ഞാൻ പാപത്തെ അറിഞ്ഞില്ല; മോഹിക്കരുതു എന്നു ന്യായപ്രമാണം പറയാതിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ മോഹത്തെ അറികയില്ലായിരുന്നു.

But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.പാപമോ അവസരം ലഭിച്ചിട്ടു കല്പനയാൽ എന്നിൽ സകലവിധ മോഹത്തെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; ന്യായപ്രമാണം കൂടാതെ പാപം നിർജ്ജീവമാകുന്നു.

For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.ഞാൻ ഒരുകാലത്തു ന്യായപ്രമാണം കൂടാതെ ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു; എന്നാൽ കല്പന വന്നപ്പോൾ പാപംവീണ്ടും ജീവിക്കയും ഞാൻ മരിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.ഇങ്ങനെ ജീവന്നായി ലഭിച്ചിരുന്ന കല്പന എനിക്കു മരണ ഹേതുവായിത്തീർന്നു എന്നു ഞാൻ കണ്ടു.

For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.പാപം അവസരം ലഭിച്ചിട്ടു കല്പനയാൽ എന്നെ ചതിക്കയും കൊല്ലുകയും ചെയ്തു.

Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.ആകയാൽ ന്യായപ്രമാണം വിശുദ്ധം; കല്പന വിശുദ്ധവും ന്യായവും നല്ലതും തന്നേ.

Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.എന്നാൽ നന്മയായുള്ളതു എനിക്കു മരണകാരണമായിത്തീർന്നു എന്നോ? ഒരുനാളും അരുതു, പാപമത്രേ മരണമായിത്തീർന്നതു; അതു നന്മയായുള്ളതിനെക്കൊണ്ടു എനിക്കു മരണം ഉളവാക്കുന്നതിനാൽ പാപം എന്നു തെളിയേണ്ടതിന്നും കല്പനയാൽ അത്യന്തം പാപമായിത്തീരേണ്ടതിന്നും തന്നേ.

For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.ന്യായപ്രമാണം ആത്മികം എന്നു നാം അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ; ഞാനോ ജഡമയൻ, പാപത്തിന്നു ദാസനായി വിൽക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ തന്നേ.

For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.ഞാൻ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നതു ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നില്ല; ഞാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നതിനെ അല്ല പകെക്കുന്നതിനെ അത്രേ ചെയ്യുന്നതു.

If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.ഞാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കാത്തതിനെ ചെയ്യുന്നു എങ്കിലോ ന്യായപ്രമാണം നല്ലതു എന്നു ഞാൻ സമ്മതിക്കുന്നു.

Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwells in me.ആകയാൽ അതിനെ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നതു ഞാനല്ല എന്നിൽ വസിക്കുന്ന പാപമത്രേ.

For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwells no good thing: in order to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.എന്നിൽ എന്നുവെച്ചാൽ എന്റെ ജഡത്തിൽ നന്മ വസിക്കുന്നില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു; നന്മ ചെയ്‍വാനുള്ള താല്പര്യം എനിക്കുണ്ടു; പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നതോ ഇല്ല.

For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.ഞാൻ ചെയ്‍വാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്ന നന്മ ചെയ്യുന്നില്ലല്ലോ; ഇച്ഛിക്കാത്ത തിന്മയത്രേ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നതു.

Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwells in me.ഞാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കാത്തതിനെ ചെയ്യുന്നു എങ്കിലോ അതിനെ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നതു ഞാനല്ല എന്നിൽ വസിക്കുന്ന പാപമത്രേ.

I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.അങ്ങനെ നന്മ ചെയ്‍വാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്ന ഞാൻ തിന്മ എന്റെ പക്കൽ ഉണ്ടു എന്നൊരു പ്രമാണം കാണുന്നു.

For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:ഉള്ളംകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽ രസിക്കുന്നു.

But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.എങ്കിലും എന്റെ ബുദ്ധിയുടെ പ്രമാണത്തോടു പോരാടുന്ന വേറൊരു പ്രമാണം ഞാൻ എന്റെ അവയവങ്ങളിൽ കാണുന്നു; അതു എന്റെ അവയവങ്ങളിലുള്ള പാപപ്രമാണത്തിന്നു എന്നെ ബദ്ധനാക്കിക്കളയുന്നു.

O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?അയ്യോ, ഞാൻ അരിഷ്ടമനുഷ്യൻ! ഈ മരണത്തിന്നു അധീനമായ ശരീരത്തിൽനിന്നു എന്നെ ആർ വിടുവിക്കും?

I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുമുഖാന്തരം ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തിന്നു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഇങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ തന്നേ ബുദ്ധികൊണ്ടു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പ്രമാണത്തെയും ജഡംകൊണ്ടു പാപത്തിന്റെ പ്രമാണത്തെയും സേവിക്കുന്നു.

Romans 8

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.അതുകൊണ്ടു ഇപ്പോൾ ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിലുള്ളവർക്കു ഒരു ശിക്ഷാവിധിയും ഇല്ല.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.ജീവന്റെ ആത്മാവിന്റെ പ്രമാണം എനിക്കു പാപത്തിന്റെയും മരണത്തിന്റെയും പ്രമാണത്തിൽനിന്നു ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിൽ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം വരുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:ജഡത്താലുള്ള ബലഹീനതനിമിത്തം ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്നു കഴിയാഞ്ഞതിനെ (സാധിപ്പാൻ ) ദൈവം തന്റെ പുത്രനെ പാപജഡത്തിന്റെ സാദൃശ്യത്തിലും പാപം നിമിത്തവും അയച്ചു, പാപത്തിന്നു ജഡത്തിൽ ശിക്ഷ വിധിച്ചു.

That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.ജഡത്തെയല്ല ആത്മാവിനെ അത്രേ അനുസരിച്ചു നടക്കുന്ന നമ്മിൽ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ നീതി നിവൃത്തിയാകേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.

For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.ജഡസ്വഭാവമുള്ളവർ ജഡത്തിന്നുള്ളതും ആത്മസ്വഭാവമുള്ളവർ ആത്മാവിന്നുള്ളതും ചിന്തിക്കുന്നു.

In order to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.ജഡത്തിന്റെ ചിന്ത മരണം; ആത്മാവിന്റെ ചിന്തയോ ജീവനും സമാധാനവും തന്നേ.

Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.ജഡത്തിന്റെ ചിന്ത ദൈവത്തോടു ശത്രുത്വം ആകുന്നു; അതു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്നു കീഴ്പെടുന്നില്ല, കീഴ്പെടുവാൻ കഴിയുന്നതുമില്ല.

So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.ജഡസ്വഭാവമുള്ളവർക്കു ദൈവത്തെ പ്രസാദിപ്പിപ്പാൻ കഴിവില്ല.

But all of you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.നിങ്ങളോ, ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവു നിങ്ങളിൽ വസിക്കുന്നു എന്നു വരികിൽ ജഡസ്വഭാവമുള്ളവരല്ല ആത്മസ്വഭാവമുള്ളവരത്രേ, ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ആത്മാവില്ലാത്തവൻ അവന്നുള്ളവനല്ല.

And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.ക്രിസ്തു നിങ്ങളിൽ ഉണ്ടെങ്കിലോ ശരീരം പാപംനിമിത്തം മരിക്കേണ്ടതെങ്കിലും ആത്മാവു നീതിനിമിത്തം ജീവനാകുന്നു.

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also retore life in your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you.യേശുവിനെ മരിച്ചവരിൽനിന്നു ഉയിർപ്പിച്ചവന്റെ ആത്മാവു നിങ്ങളിൽ വസിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിനെ മരണത്തിൽനിന്നു ഉയിർപ്പിച്ചവൻ നിങ്ങളിൽ വസിക്കുന്ന തന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെക്കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളുടെ മർത്യശരീരങ്ങളെയും ജീവിപ്പിക്കും.

Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.ആകയാൽ സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നാം ജഡത്തെ അനുസരിച്ചു ജീവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ജഡത്തിന്നല്ല കടക്കാരാകുന്നതു.

For if all of you live after the flesh, all of you shall die: but if all of you through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, all of you shall live.നിങ്ങൾ ജഡത്തെ അനുസരിച്ചു ജീവിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ മരിക്കും നിശ്ചയം; ആത്മാവിനാൽ ശരീരത്തിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ മരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലോ നിങ്ങൾ ജീവിക്കും.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.ദൈവാത്മാവു നടത്തുന്നവർ ഏവരും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മക്കൾ ആകുന്നു.

For all of you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but all of you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.നിങ്ങൾ പിന്നെയും ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു ദാസ്യത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെ അല്ല; നാം അബ്ബാ പിതാവേ, എന്നു വിളിക്കുന്ന പുത്രത്വത്തിൻ ആത്മാവിനെ അത്രേ പ്രാപിച്ചതു.

The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:നാം ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മക്കൾ എന്നു ആത്മാവുതാനും നമ്മുടെ ആത്മാവോടുകൂടെ സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നു.

And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.നാം മക്കൾ എങ്കിലോ അവകാശികളും ആകുന്നു; ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അവകാശികളും ക്രിസ്തുവിന്നു കൂട്ടവകാശികളും തന്നേ; നാം അവനോടുകൂടെ തേജസ്കരിക്കപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു അവനോടുകൂടെ കഷ്ടമനുഭവിച്ചാലത്രേ.

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.നമ്മിൽ വെളിപ്പെടുവാനുള്ള തേജസ്സു വിചാരിച്ചാൽ ഈ കാലത്തിലെ കഷ്ടങ്ങൾ സാരമില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ എണ്ണുന്നു.

For the earn expectation of the creature waits for the manifestation of the sons of God.സൃഷ്ടി ദൈവപുത്രന്മാരുടെ വെളിപ്പാടിനെ ആകാംക്ഷയോടെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who has subjected the same in hope,സൃഷ്ടി ദ്രവത്വത്തിന്റെ ദാസ്യത്തിൽനിന്നു വിടുതലും ദൈവമക്കളുടെ തേജസ്സാകുന്ന സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യവും പ്രാപിക്കും എന്നുള്ള ആശയോടെ മായെക്കു കീഴ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു;

Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.മനഃപൂർവ്വമായിട്ടല്ല, അതിനെ കീഴ്പെടുത്തിയവന്റെ കല്പനനിമിത്തമത്രേ.

For we know that the whole creation groans and labors in pain together until now.സർവ്വസൃഷ്ടിയും ഇന്നുവരെ ഒരുപോലെ ഞരങ്ങി ഈറ്റുനോവോടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നാം അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ.

And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the first-fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to know, the redemption of our body.ആത്മാവെന്ന ആദ്യദാനം ലഭിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന നാമും നമ്മുടെ ശരീരത്തിന്റെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പായ പുത്രത്വത്തിന്നു കാത്തുകൊണ്ടു ഉള്ളിൽ ഞരങ്ങുന്നു.

For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man sees, why does he yet hope for?പ്രത്യാശയാലല്ലാ നാം രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടിരിക്കുന്നതു. കാണുന്ന പ്രത്യാശയോ പ്രത്യാശയല്ല; ഒരുത്തൻ കാണുന്നതിന്നായി ഇനി പ്രത്യാശിക്കുന്നതു എന്തിന്നു?

But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.നാം കാണാത്തതിന്നായി പ്രത്യാശിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലോ അതിന്നായി ക്ഷമയോടെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.അവ്വണ്ണം തന്നേ ആത്മാവു നമ്മുടെ ബലഹീനതെക്കു തുണനില്ക്കുന്നു. വേണ്ടുംപോലെ പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നു നാം അറിയുന്നില്ലല്ലോ. ആത്മാവു തന്നേ ഉച്ചരിച്ചു കൂടാത്ത ഞരക്കങ്ങളാൽ നമുക്കു വേണ്ടി പക്ഷവാദം ചെയ്യുന്നു.

And he that searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because he makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.എന്നാൽ ആത്മാവു വിശുദ്ധർക്കു വേണ്ടി ദൈവഹിതപ്രകാരം പക്ഷവാദം ചെയ്യുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു ആത്മാവിന്റെ ചിന്ത ഇന്നതെന്നു ഹൃദയങ്ങളെ പരിശോധിക്കുന്നവൻ അറിയുന്നു.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.എന്നാൽ ദൈവത്തെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവർക്കു, നിർണ്ണയപ്രകാരം വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടവർക്കു തന്നേ, സകലവും നന്മെക്കായി കൂടി വ്യാപരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നാം അറിയുന്നു.

For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.അവൻ മുന്നറിഞ്ഞവരെ തന്റെ പുത്രൻ അനേകം സഹോദരന്മാരിൽ ആദ്യജാതൻ ആകേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന്റെ സ്വരൂപത്തോടു അനുരൂപരാകുവാൻ മുന്നിയമിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.മുന്നിയമിച്ചവരെ വിളിച്ചും വിളിച്ചവരെ നീതീകരിച്ചും നീതീകരിച്ചവരെ തേജസ്കരിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?ഇതു സംബന്ധിച്ചു നാം എന്തു പറയേണ്ടു? ദൈവം നമുക്കു അനുകൂലം എങ്കിൽ നമുക്കു പ്രതികൂലം ആർ?

He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?സ്വന്തപുത്രനെ ആദരിക്കാതെ നമുക്കു എല്ലാവർക്കും വേണ്ടി ഏല്പിച്ചുതന്നവൻ അവനോടുകൂടെ സകലവും നമുക്കു നല്കാതിരിക്കുമോ?

Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifies.ദൈവം തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തവരെ ആർ കുറ്റം ചുമത്തും? നീതീകരിക്കുന്നവൻ ദൈവം.

Who is he that condemns? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that has risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.ശിക്ഷവിധിക്കുന്നവൻ ആർ? ക്രിസ്തുയേശു മരിച്ചവൻ; മരിച്ചിട്ടു ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റവൻ തന്നേ; അവൻ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തിരിക്കയും നമുക്കുവേണ്ടി പക്ഷവാദം കഴിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

³⁵

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ സ്നേഹത്തിൽനിന്നു നമ്മെ വേർപിരിക്കുന്നതാർ? കഷ്ടതയോ സങ്കടമോ ഉപദ്രവമോ പട്ടിണിയോ നഗ്നതയോ ആപത്തോ വാളോ?

³⁶

As it is written, For your sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.“നിന്റെ നിമിത്തം ഞങ്ങളെ ഇടവിടാതെ കൊല്ലുന്നു; അറുപ്പാനുള്ള ആടുകളെപ്പോലെ ഞങ്ങളെ എണ്ണുന്നു” എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

³⁷

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.നാമോ നമ്മെ സ്നേഹിച്ചവൻ മുഖാന്തരം ഇതിൽ ഒക്കെയും പൂർണ്ണജയം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.

³⁸

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,മരണത്തിന്നോ ജീവന്നോ ദൂതന്മാർക്കോ വാഴ്ചകൾക്കോ അധികാരങ്ങൾക്കോ ഇപ്പോഴുള്ളതിന്നോ വരുവാനുള്ളതിന്നോ ഉയരത്തിന്നോ ആഴത്തിന്നോ മറ്റു യാതൊരു സൃഷ്ടിക്കോ

Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിലുള്ള ദൈവസ്നേഹത്തിൽ നിന്നു നമ്മെ വേറുപിരിപ്പാൻ കഴികയില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ ഉറെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
