Psalms 7

O LORD my God, in you do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, നിന്നെ ഞാൻ ശരണം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു; എന്നെ വേട്ടയാടുന്ന എല്ലാവരുടെയും കയ്യിൽ നിന്നു എന്നെ രക്ഷിച്ചു വിടുവിക്കേണമേ.

Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.അവൻ സിംഹം എന്നപോലെ എന്നെ കീറിക്കളയരുതേ; വിടുവിപ്പാൻ ആരുമില്ലാതിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ എന്നെ ചീന്തിക്കളയരുതേ.

O LORD my God, If I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ ഇതു ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ, എന്റെ പക്കൽ നീതികേടുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ,

If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:)എനിക്കു ബന്ധുവായിരുന്നവനോടു ഞാൻ ദോഷം ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ, - ഹേതുകൂടാതെ എനിക്കു വൈരിയായിരുന്നവനെ ഞാൻ വിടുവിച്ചുവല്ലോ -

Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah.ശത്രു എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ പിന്തുടർന്നു പിടിക്കട്ടെ; അവൻ എന്റെ ജീവനെ നിലത്തിട്ടു ചവിട്ടട്ടെ; എന്റെ മാനത്തെ പൂഴിയിൽ തള്ളിയിടട്ടെ. സേലാ.

Arise, O LORD, in yours anger, lift up yourself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that you have commanded.യഹോവേ, കോപത്തോടെ എഴുന്നേൽക്കേണമേ; എന്റെ വൈരികളുടെ ക്രോധത്തോടു എതിർത്തുനിൽക്കേണമേ; എനിക്കു വേണ്ടി ഉണരേണമേ; നീ ന്യായവിധി കല്പിച്ചുവല്ലോ.

So shall the congregation of the people compass you about: for their sakes therefore return you on high.ജാതികളുടെ സംഘം നിന്നെ ചുറ്റിനിൽക്കട്ടെ; നീ അവർക്കു മീതെ കൂടി ഉയരത്തിലേക്കു മടങ്ങേണമേ.

The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.യഹോവ ജാതികളെ ന്യായംവിധിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവേ, എന്റെ നീതിക്കും പരമാർത്ഥതെക്കും തക്കവണ്ണം എന്നെ വിധിക്കേണമേ;

Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God tries the hearts and reins.ദുഷ്ടന്റെ ദുഷ്ടത തീർന്നുപോകട്ടെ; നീതിമാനെ നീ ഉറപ്പിക്കേണമേ. നീതിമാനായ ദൈവം ഹൃദയങ്ങളെയും അന്തരിന്ദ്രിയങ്ങളെയും ശോധനചെയ്യുന്നുവല്ലോ.

My defence is of God, which saves the upright in heart.എന്റെ പരിച ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പക്കൽ ഉണ്ടു; അവൻ ഹൃദയപരമാർത്ഥികളെ രക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

God judges the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.ദൈവം നീതിയുള്ള ന്യായാധിപതിയാകുന്നു; ദൈവം ദിവസംപ്രതി കോപിക്കുന്നു.

If he turn not, he will sharpen his sword; he has bent his bow, and made it ready.മനം തിരിയുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ അവൻ തന്റെ വാളിന്നു മൂർച്ചകൂട്ടും; അവൻ തന്റെ വില്ലു കുലെച്ചു ഒരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

He has also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordains his arrows against the persecutors.അവൻ മരണാസ്‌ത്രങ്ങളെ അവന്റെ നേരെ തൊടുത്തു. തന്റെ ശരങ്ങളെ തീയമ്പുകളാക്കി തീർത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

Behold, he labors with iniquity, and has conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.ഇതാ, അവന്നു നീതികേടിനെ നോവു കിട്ടുന്നു; അവൻ കഷ്ടത്തെ ഗർഭം ധരിച്ചു വഞ്ചനയെ പ്രസവിക്കുന്നു.

He made a pit, and dug it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.അവൻ ഒരു കുഴി കുഴിച്ചുണ്ടാക്കി, കുഴിച്ച കുഴിയിൽ താൻ തന്നേ വീണു.

His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own crown of the head.അവന്റെ വേണ്ടാതനം അവന്റെ തലയിലേക്കു തിരിയും; അവന്റെ ബലാൽക്കാരം അവന്റെ നെറുകയിൽ തന്നേ വീഴും.

I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.ഞാൻ യഹോവയെ അവന്റെ നീതിക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം സ്തുതിക്കും; അത്യുന്നതനായ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിന്നു സ്തോത്രം പാടും.

Psalms 8

O LORD, our Lord, how excellent is your name in all the earth! who have set your glory above the heavens.ഞങ്ങളുടെ കർത്താവായ യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ നാമം ഭൂമിയിലൊക്കെയും എത്ര ശ്രേഷ്ഠമായിരിക്കുന്നു! നീ ആകാശത്തിൽ നിന്റെ തേജസ്സു വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

Out of the mouth of babes and infants have you ordained strength because of yours enemies, that you might still the enemy and the avenger.നിന്റെ വൈരികൾനിമിത്തം, ശത്രുവിനെയും പകയനെയും മിണ്ടാതാക്കുവാൻ തന്നേ, നീ ശിശുക്കളുടെയും മുലകുടിക്കുന്നവരുടെയും വായിൽനിന്നു ബലം നിയമിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have ordained;നിന്റെ വിരലുകളുടെ പണിയായ ആകാശത്തെയും നീ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ ചന്ദ്രനെയും നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളെയും നോക്കുമ്പോൾ,

What is man, that you are mindful of him? and the son of man, that you visit him?മർത്യനെ നീ ഓർക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻ എന്തു? മനുഷ്യപുത്രനെ സന്ദർശിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻ എന്തുമാത്രം?

For you have made him a little lower than the angels, and have crowned him with glory and honour.നീ അവനെ ദൈവത്തെക്കാൾ അല്പം മാത്രം താഴ്ത്തി, തേജസ്സും ബഹുമാനവും അവനെ അണിയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

You made him to have dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet:നിന്റെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾക്കു നീ അവനെ അധിപതിയാക്കി, സകലത്തെയും അവന്റെ കാൽകീഴെയാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു;

All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;ആടുകളെയും കാളകളെയും എല്ലാം കാട്ടിലെ മൃഗങ്ങളെയൊക്കെയും

The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passes through the paths of the seas.ആകാശത്തിലെ പക്ഷികളെയും സമുദ്രത്തിലെ മത്സ്യങ്ങളെയും സമുദ്രമാർഗ്ഗങ്ങളിൽ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്ന സകലത്തെയും തന്നേ.

O LORD our Lord, how excellent is your name in all the earth!ഞങ്ങളുടെ കർത്താവായ യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ നാമം ഭൂമിയിലൊക്കെയും എത്ര ശ്രേഷ്ഠമായിരിക്കുന്നു!

Psalms 9

I will praise you, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will show forth all your marvellous works.ഞാൻ പൂർണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടെ യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്കും; നിന്റെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ ഒക്കെയും ഞാൻ വർണ്ണിക്കും.

I will be glad and rejoice in you: I will sing praise to your name, O you most High.ഞാൻ നിന്നിൽ സന്തോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കും; അത്യുന്നതനായുള്ളോവേ, ഞാൻ നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ കീർത്തിക്കും.

When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at your presence.എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ പിൻവാങ്ങുകയിൽ ഇടറിവീണു, നിന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ നശിച്ചുപോകും.

For you have maintained my right and my cause; you sat in the throne judging right.നീ എന്റെ കാര്യവും വ്യവഹാരവും നടത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ നീതിയോടെ വിധിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു;

You have rebuked the heathen, you have destroyed the wicked, you have put out their name for ever and ever.നീ ജാതികളെ ശാസിച്ചു ദുഷ്ടനെ നശിപ്പിച്ചു; അവരുടെ നാമത്തെ നീ സദാകാലത്തേക്കും മായിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

O you enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and you have destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them.ശത്രുക്കൾ മുടിഞ്ഞു സദാകാലത്തേക്കും നശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങളെയും നീ മറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; അവയുടെ ഓർമ്മകൂടെ ഇല്ലാതെയായിരിക്കുന്നു.

But the LORD shall endure for ever: he has prepared his throne for judgment.എന്നാൽ യഹോവ എന്നേക്കും വാഴുന്നു; ന്യായവിധിക്കു അവൻ സിംഹാസനം ഒരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.അവൻ ലോകത്തെ നീതിയോടെ വിധിക്കും; ജാതികൾക്കു നേരോടെ ന്യായപാലനം ചെയ്യും.

The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.യഹോവ പീഡിതന്നു ഒരു അഭയസ്ഥാനം; കഷ്ടകാലത്തു ഒരഭയസ്ഥാനം തന്നേ.

And they that know your name will put their trust in you: for you, LORD, have not forsaken them that seek you.നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ അറിയുന്നവർ നിങ്കൽ ആശ്രയിക്കും; യഹോവേ, നിന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവരെ നീ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നില്ലല്ലോ.

Sing praises to the LORD, which dwells in Zion: declare among the people his doings.സീയോനിൽ വസിക്കുന്ന യഹോവെക്കു സ്തോത്രം പാടുവിൻ; അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഘോഷിപ്പിൻ.

When he makes inquisition for blood, he remembers them: he forgets not the cry of the humble.രക്തപാതകത്തിന്നു പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ അവരെ ഓർക്കുന്നു; എളിയവരുടെ നിലവിളിയെ അവൻ മറക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.

Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, you that lift me up from the gates of death:യഹോവേ, എന്നോടു കരുണയുണ്ടാകേണമേ; മരണവാതിലുകളിൽനിന്നു എന്നെ ഉദ്ധരിക്കുന്നവനേ, എന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവരാൽ എനിക്കു നേരിടുന്ന കഷ്ടം നോക്കേണമേ.

That I may show forth all your praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in your salvation.ഞാൻ സീയോൻപുത്രിയുടെ പടിവാതിലുകളിൽ നിന്റെ സ്തുതിയെ ഒക്കെയും പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു നിന്റെ രക്ഷയിൽ സന്തോഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.

The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.ജാതികൾ തങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ കുഴിയിൽ താണു പോയി; അവർ ഒളിച്ചുവെച്ച വലയിൽ അവരുടെ കാൽ തന്നേ അകപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

The LORD is known by the judgment which he executes: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.യഹോവ തന്നെത്താൻ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തി ന്യായവിധി നടത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ദുഷ്ടൻ സ്വന്തകൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയിൽ കുടുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു. തന്ത്രിനാദം. സേലാ.

The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.ദുഷ്ടന്മാരും ദൈവത്തെ മറക്കുന്ന സകലജാതികളും പാതാളത്തിലേക്കു തിരിയും.

For the needy shall not always be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.ദരിദ്രനെ എന്നേക്കും മറന്നു പോകയില്ല; സാധുക്കളുടെ പ്രത്യാശെക്കു എന്നും ഭംഗം വരികയുമില്ല.

Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in your sight.യഹോവേ, എഴുന്നേൽക്കേണമേ, മർത്യൻ പ്രബലനാകരുതേ; ജാതികൾ നിന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ വിധിക്കപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ.

Put them in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.യഹോവേ, തങ്ങൾ മർത്യരത്രേ എന്നു ജാതികൾ അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു അവർക്കു ഭയം വരുത്തേണമേ. സേലാ.
