Numbers 24

And when Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to bless Israel, he went not, as at other times, to seek for enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness.യിസ്രായേലിനെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നതു യഹോവെക്കു പ്രസാദമെന്നു ബിലെയാം കണ്ടപ്പോൾ അവൻ മുമ്പിലത്തെപ്പോലെ ലക്ഷണം നോക്കുവാൻ പോകാതെ മരുഭൂമിക്കുനേരെ മുഖം തിരിച്ചു.

And Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel abiding in his tents according to their tribes; and the spirit of God came upon him.ബിലെയാം തല ഉയർത്തി യിസ്രായേൽ ഗോത്രംഗോത്രമായി പാർക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു; ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവു അവന്റെമേൽ വന്നു;

And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor has said, and the man whose eyes are open has said:അവൻ സുഭാഷിതം ചൊല്ലിത്തുടങ്ങിയതു: ബെയോരിന്റെ മകനായ ബിലെയാം പറയുന്നു.

He has said, which heard the words of God, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:കണ്ണടച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന പുരുഷൻ പറയുന്നു; ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു കേൾക്കുന്നവൻ, സർവ്വശക്തന്റെ ദർശനം ദർശിക്കുന്നവൻ, വീഴുമ്പോൾ കണ്ണു തുറന്നിരിക്കുന്നവൻ പറയുന്നതു:

How goodly are your tents, O Jacob, and your tabernacles, O Israel!യാക്കോബേ, നിന്റെ കൂടാരങ്ങൾ യിസ്രായേലേ, നിന്റെ നിവാസങ്ങൾ എത്ര മനോഹരം!

As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river's side, as the trees of lign aloes which the LORD has planted, and as cedar trees beside the waters.താഴ്വരപോലെ അവ പരന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; നദീതീരത്തെ ഉദ്യാനങ്ങൾപോലെ, യഹോവ നട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ചന്ദനവൃക്ഷങ്ങൾ പോലെ, ജലാന്തികേയുള്ള ദേവദാരുക്കൾപോലെ തന്നേ.

He shall pour the water out of his buckets, and his seed shall be in many waters, and his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted.അവന്റെ തൊട്ടികളിൽനിന്നു വെള്ളം ഒഴുകുന്നു; അവന്റെ വിത്തിന്നു വെള്ളം ധാരാളം; അവന്റെ അരചൻ ആഗാഗിലും ശ്രേഷ്ഠൻ; അവന്റെ രാജത്വം ഉന്നതം തന്നേ.

God brought him forth out of Egypt; he has as it were the strength of an unicorn : he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows.ദൈവം അവനെ മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു കൊണ്ടു വരുന്നു; കാട്ടുപോത്തിന്നു തുല്യമായ ബലം അവന്നു ഉണ്ടു; ശത്രുജാതികളെ അവൻ തിന്നുകളയുന്നു; അവരുടെ അസ്ഥികളെ അവൻ തകർക്കുന്നു; അസ്ത്രം എയ്തു അവരെ തുളെക്കുന്നു.

He couched, he lay down as a lion, and as a great lion: who shall stir him up? Blessed is he that blesses you, and cursed is he that curses you.അവൻ സിംഹംപോലെ പതുങ്ങിക്കിടക്കുന്നു; ഒരു സിംഹികണക്കെത്തന്നേ; ആർ അവനെ ഉണർത്തും? നിന്നെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവൻ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ; നിന്നെ ശപിക്കുന്നവൻ ശപീക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ.

And Balak's anger was kindled against Balaam, and he stroke his hands together: and Balak said unto Balaam, I called you to curse mine enemies, and, behold, you have altogether blessed them these three times.അപ്പോൾ ബാലാക്കിന്റെ കോപം ബിലെയാമിന്റെ നേരെ ജ്വലിച്ചു; അവൻ കൈ ഞെരിച്ചു ബിലെയാമിനോടു: എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ ശപിപ്പാൻ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വിളിപ്പിച്ചു; നീയോ ഇവരെ ഈ മൂന്നു പ്രാവശ്യവും ആശീർവ്വദിക്കയത്രേ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

Therefore now flee you to your place: I thought to promote you unto great honour; but, lo, the LORD has kept you back from honour.ഇപ്പോൾ നിന്റെ സ്ഥലത്തേക്കു ഓടിപ്പോക; നിന്നെ ഏറ്റവും ബഹുമാനിപ്പാൻ ഞാൻ വിചാരിച്ചിരുന്നു; എന്നാൽ യഹോവ നിനക്കു ബഹുമാനം മുടക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And Balaam said unto Balak, Spoke I not also to your messengers which you sent unto me, saying,അതിന്നു ബിലെയാം ബാലാക്കിനോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: ബാലാക്ക് തന്റെ ഗൃഹം നിറെച്ചു വെള്ളിയും പൊന്നും തന്നാലും യഹോവയുടെ കല്പന ലംഘിച്ചു ഗുണമെങ്കിലും ദോഷമെങ്കിലും സ്വമേധയായി ചെയ്‍വാൻ എനിക്കു കഴിയുന്നതല്ല; യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നതു മാത്രമേ

If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the commandment of the LORD, to do either good or bad of mine own mind; but what the LORD says, that will I speak?ഞാൻ പറകയുള്ളു എന്നു എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ നീ അയച്ച ദൂതന്മാരോടു ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞില്ലയോ?

And now, behold, I go unto my people: come therefore, and I will advertise you what this people shall do to your people in the latter days.ഇപ്പോൾ ഇതാ ഞാൻ എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്കു പോകുന്നു; വരിക, ഭാവികാലത്തു ഈ ജനം നിന്റെ ജനത്തോടു എന്തു ചെയ്യുമെന്നു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അറിയിക്കാം.

And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor has said, and the man whose eyes are open has said:പിന്നെ അവൻ സുഭാഷിതം ചൊല്ലിത്തുടങ്ങിയതെന്തെന്നാൽ: ബെയോരിന്റെ മകൻ ബിലെയാം പറയുന്നു; കണ്ണടെച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന പുരുഷൻ പറയുന്നു;

He has said, which heard the words of God, and knew the knowledge of the most High, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു കേൾക്കുന്നവൻ അത്യുന്നതന്റെ പരിജ്ഞാനം പ്രാപിച്ചവൻ, സർവ്വശക്തന്റെ ദർശനം ദർശിക്കുന്നവൻ, വീഴുമ്പോൾ കണ്ണു തുറന്നിരിക്കുന്നവൻ പറയുന്നതു:

I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall strike the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.ഞാൻ അവനെ കാണും, ഇപ്പോൾ അല്ലതാനും; ഞാൻ അവനെ ദർശിക്കും, അടുത്തല്ലതാനും. യാക്കോബിൽനിന്നു ഒരു നക്ഷത്രം ഉദിക്കും; യിസ്രായേലിൽനിന്നു ഒരു ചെങ്കോൽ ഉയരും. അതു മോവാബിന്റെ പാർശ്വങ്ങളെയെല്ലാം തകർക്കയും തുമുലപുത്രന്മാരെ ഒക്കെയും സംഹരിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

And Edom shall be a possession, Seir also shall be a possession for his enemies; and Israel shall do valiantly.എദോം ഒരു അധീനദേശമാകും; ശത്രുവായ സെയീരും അധീനദേശമാകും; യിസ്രായേലോ വീര്യം പ്രവർത്തിക്കും.

Out of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion, and shall destroy him that remains of the city.യാക്കോബിൽനിന്നു ഒരുത്തൻ ഭരിക്കും; ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോയവരെ അവൻ നഗരത്തിൽനിന്നു നശിപ്പിക്കും.

And when he looked on Amalek, he took up his parable, and said, Amalek was the first of the nations; but his latter end shall be that he perish for ever.അവൻ അമാലേക്കിനെ നോക്കി സുഭാഷിതം ചൊല്ലിയതു: അമാലേക്ക് ജാതികളിൽ മുമ്പൻ; അവന്റെ അവസാനമോ നാശം അത്രേ.

And he looked on the Kenites, and took up his parable, and said, Strong is your dwelling place, and you put your nest in a rock.അവൻ കേന്യരെ നോക്കി സുഭാഷിതം ചൊല്ലിയതു: നിന്റെ നിവാസം ഉറപ്പുള്ളതു: നിന്റെ കൂടു പാറയിൽ വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

Nevertheless the Kenite shall be wasted, until Asshur shall carry you away captive.എങ്കിലും കേന്യന്നു നിർമ്മൂലനാശം ഭവിക്കും; അശ്ശൂർ നിന്നെ പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോവാൻ ഇനിയെത്ര?

And he took up his parable, and said, Alas, who shall live when God does this!പിന്നെ അവൻ ഈ സുഭാഷിതം ചൊല്ലിയതു: ഹാ, ദൈവം ഇതു നിവർത്തിക്കുമ്പോൾ ആർ ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കും?

And ships shall come from the coast of Chittim, and shall afflict Asshur, and shall afflict Eber, and he also shall perish for ever.കിത്തീംതീരത്തുനിന്നു കപ്പലുകൾ വരും; അവ അശ്ശൂരിനെ താഴ്ത്തും, ഏബെരിനെയും താഴ്ത്തും. അവന്നും നിർമ്മൂലനാശം ഭവിക്കും

And Balaam rose up, and went and returned to his place: and Balak also went his way.അതിന്റെ ശേഷം ബിലെയാം പുറപ്പെട്ടു തന്റെ സ്ഥലത്തേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോയി; ബാലാക്കും തന്റെ വഴിക്കു പോയി.

Numbers 25

And Israel abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab.യിസ്രായേൽ ശിത്തീമിൽ പാർക്കുമ്പോൾ ജനം മോവാബ്യസ്ത്രീകളുമായി പരസംഗം തുടങ്ങി.

And they called the people unto the sacrifices of their gods: and the people did eat, and bowed down to their gods.അവർ ജനത്തെ തങ്ങളുടെ ദേവന്മാരുടെ ബലികൾക്കു വിളിക്കയും ജനം ഭക്ഷിച്ചു അവരുടെ ദേവന്മാരെ നമസ്കരിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

And Israel joined himself unto Baalpeor: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel.യിസ്രായേൽ ബാൽപെയോരിനോടു ചേർന്നു, യഹോവയുടെ കോപം യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ നേരെ ജ്വലിച്ചു.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce anger of the LORD may be turned away from Israel.യഹോവ മോശെയോടു: ജനത്തിന്റെ തലവന്മാരെയൊക്കെയും കൂട്ടി യഹോവയുടെ ഉഗ്രകോപം യിസ്രായേലിനെ വിട്ടുമാറേണ്ടതിന്നു അവരെ യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ പരസ്യമായി തൂക്കിക്കളക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

And Moses said unto the judges of Israel, Slay all of you every one his men that were joined unto Baalpeor.മോശെ യിസ്രായേൽ ന്യായാധിപന്മാരോടു: നിങ്ങൾ ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ ആളുകളിൽ ബാൽപെയോരിനോടു ചേർന്നവരെ കൊല്ലുവിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And, behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought unto his brethren a Midianitish woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping before the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.എന്നാൽ മോശെയും സമാഗമന കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതിൽക്കൽ കരഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ സർവ്വസഭയും കാൺകെ, ഒരു യിസ്രായേല്യൻ തന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരുടെ മദ്ധത്തിലേക്കു ഒരു മിദ്യാന്യ സ്ത്രീയെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.

And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand;അഹരോൻ പുരോഹിതന്റെ മകനായ എലെയാസാരിന്റെ മകൻ ഫീനെഹാസ് അതു കണ്ടപ്പോൾ സഭയുടെ മദ്ധ്യേനിന്നു എഴുന്നേറ്റു കയ്യിൽ ഒരു കുന്തം എടുത്തു,

And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand.ബാധകൊണ്ടു മരിച്ചുപോയവർ ഇരുപത്തുനാലായിരം പേർ.

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,പിന്നെ യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു:

Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, has turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy.ഞാൻ എന്റെ തീക്ഷ്ണതയിൽ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളെ സംഹരിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അഹരോൻ പുരോഹിതന്റെ മകനായ എലെയാസാരിന്റെ മകൻ ഫീനെഹാസ് അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ എനിക്കുവേണ്ടി തീക്ഷ്ണതയുള്ളവനായി എന്റെ ക്രോധം യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളെ വിട്ടുപോകുമാറാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

Wherefore say, Behold, I give unto him my covenant of peace:ആകയാൽ ഇതാ, ഞാൻ അവന്നു എന്റെ സമാധാനനിയമം കൊടുക്കുന്നു.

And he shall have it, and his seed after him, even the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was zealous for his God, and made an atonement for the children of Israel.അവൻ തന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്നുവേണ്ടി തീക്ഷ്ണതയുള്ളവനായി യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു അതു അവന്നും അവന്റെ സന്തതിക്കും നിത്യപൌരോഹിത്യത്തിന്റെ നിയമമാകുന്നു എന്നു നീ പറയേണം.

Now the name of the Israelite that was slain, even that was slain with the Midianitish woman, was Zimri, the son of Salu, a prince of a chief house among the Simeonites.മിദ്യാന്യസ്ത്രീയോടുകൂടെ കൊന്ന യിസ്രായേല്യന്നു സിമ്രി എന്നു പേർ; അവൻ ശിമെയോൻ ഗോത്രത്തിൽ ഒരു പ്രഭുവായ സാലൂവിന്റെ മകൻ ആയിരുന്നു.

And the name of the Midianitish woman that was slain was Cozbi, the daughter of Zur; he was head over a people, and of a chief house in Midian.കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ട മിദ്യാന്യ സ്ത്രീക്കു കൊസ്ബി എന്നു പേർ; അവൾ ഒരു മിദ്യാന്യഗോത്രത്തിൽ ജനാധിപനായിരുന്ന സൂരിന്റെ മകളായിരുന്നു.

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,പെയോരിന്റെ സംഗതിയിലും പെയോർ നിമിത്തം ഉണ്ടായ ബാധയുടെ നാളിൽ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ട അവരുടെ സഹോദരിയായി മിദ്യാന്യപ്രഭുവിന്റെ മകൾ കൊസ്ബിയുടെ സംഗതിയിലും മിദ്യാന്യർ നിങ്ങളെ ചതിച്ചു ഉപായങ്ങളാൽ വലെച്ചിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു,

Vex the Midianites, and strike them:നിങ്ങൾ അവരെ വലെച്ചു സംഹരിപ്പിൻ

For they vex you with their wiles, wherewith they have misled you in the matter of Peor, and in the matter of Cozbi, the daughter of a prince of Midian, their sister, which was slain in the day of the plague for Peor's sake.എന്നു യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

Numbers 26

And it came to pass after the plague, that the LORD spoke unto Moses and unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, saying,ബാധ കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം യഹോവ മോശെയോടും പുരോഹിതനായ അഹരോന്റെ മകൻ എലെയാസാരിനോടും:

Take the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, throughout their fathers' house, all that are able to go to war in Israel.യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ സർവ്വസഭയെയും ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതൽ മേലോട്ടു യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള എല്ലാവരെയും ഗോത്രം ഗോത്രമായി എണ്ണി തുക എടുപ്പിൻ എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

And Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,അങ്ങനെ മോശെയും പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാരും യെരീഹോവിന്റെ സമീപത്തു യോർദ്ദാന്നരികെയുള്ള മോവാബ് സമഭൂമിയിൽ വെച്ചു അവരോടു:

Take the sum of the people, from twenty years old and upward; as the LORD commanded Moses and the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt.യഹോവ മോശെയോടും മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ട യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടും കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതൽ മേലോട്ടുള്ളവരുടെ തുകയെടുപ്പിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

Reuben, the eldest son of Israel: the children of Reuben; Hanoch, of whom comes the family of the Hanochites: of Pallu, the family of the Palluites:യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ആദ്യജാതൻ രൂബേൻ; രൂബേന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഹനോക്കിൽനിന്നു ഹനോക്ക്യകുടുംബം; പല്ലൂവിൽനിന്നു പല്ലൂവ്യകുടുംബം;

Of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites: of Carmi, the family of the Carmites.ഹെസ്രോനിൽനിന്നു ഹെസ്രോന്യ കുടുംബം; കർമ്മിയിൽനിന്നു കർമ്മ്യകുടുംബം.

These are the families of the Reubenites: and they that were numbered of them were forty and three thousand and seven hundred and thirty.ഇവയാകുന്നു രൂബേന്യകുടുംബങ്ങൾ; അവരിൽ എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവർ നാല്പത്തിമൂവായിരത്തെഴുനൂറ്റി മുപ്പതു പേർ.

And the sons of Eliab; Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram. This is that Dathan and Abiram, which were famous in the congregation, who strove against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah, when they strove against the LORD:എലീയാബിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: നെമൂവേൽ, ദാഥാൻ, അബീരാം. യഹോവെക്കു വിരോധമായി കലഹിച്ചപ്പോൾ കോരഹിന്റെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ മോശെക്കും അഹരോന്നും വിരോധമായി കലഹിച്ച സംഘ സദസ്യന്മാരായ ദാഥാനും അബീരാമും ഇവർ തന്നേ;

And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up together with Korah, when that company died, what time the fire devoured two hundred and fifty men: and they became a sign.ഭൂമി വായി തുറന്നു അവരെയും കേരഹിനെയും വിഴുങ്ങിക്കളകയും തീ ഇരുനൂറ്റമ്പതു പേരെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്ത സമയം ആ കൂട്ടം മരിച്ചു; അവർ ഒരു അടയാളമായ്തീർന്നു.

To many you shall give the more inheritance, and to few you shall give the less inheritance: to every one shall his inheritance be given according to those that were numbered of him.ആളേറെയുള്ളവർക്കു അവകാശം ഏറെയും ആൾ കുറവുള്ളവർക്കു അവകാശം കുറെച്ചും കൊടുക്കേണം; ഓരോരുത്തന്നു അവനവന്റെ ആളെണ്ണത്തിന്നു ഒത്തവണ്ണം അവകാശം കൊടുക്കേണം.

Notwithstanding the land shall be divided by lot: according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit.ദേശത്തെ ചീട്ടിട്ടു വിഭാഗിക്കേണം; അതതു പിതൃഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ പേരിന്നൊത്തവണ്ണം അവർക്കു അവകാശം ലഭിക്കേണം.

Why should the name of our father be done away from among his family, because he has no son? And you shall speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a man die, and have no son, then all of you shall cause his inheritance to pass unto his daughter.നീ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: ഒരുത്തൻ മകനില്ലാതെ മരിച്ചാൽ അവന്റെ അവകാശം അവന്റെ മകൾക്കു കൊടുക്കേണം.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Get you up into this mount Abarim, and see the land which I have given unto the children of Israel.അനന്തരം യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു: ഈ അബാരീംമലയിൽ കയറി ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കു കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന ദേശം നോക്കുക.

And when you have seen it, you also shall be gathered unto your people, as Aaron your brother was gathered.അതു കണ്ട ശേഷം നിന്റെ സഹോദരനായ അഹരോനെപ്പോലെ നീയും നിന്റെ ജനത്തോടു ചേരും.

For all of you rebelled against my commandment in the desert of Zin, in the strife of the congregation, to sanctify me at the water before their eyes: that is the water of Meribah in Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.സഭയുടെ കലഹത്തിങ്കൽ നിങ്ങൾ സീൻമരുഭൂമിയിൽവെച്ചു അവർ കാൺകെ വെള്ളത്തിന്റെ കാര്യത്തിൽ എന്നെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കാതെ എന്റെ കല്പനയെ മറുത്തതുകൊണ്ടു തന്നേ. സീൻമരുഭൂമിയിൽ കാദേശിലെ കലഹജലം അതു തന്നേ.

And Moses spoke unto the LORD, saying,അപ്പോൾ മോശെ യഹോവയോടു:

Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation,യഹോവയുടെ സഭ ഇടയനില്ലാത്ത ആടുകളെപ്പോലെ ആകാതിരിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം അവർക്കു മുമ്പായി പോകുവാനും അവർക്കു മുമ്പായി വരുവാനും അവരെ പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോകുവാനും

Which may go out before them, and which may go in before them, and which may lead them out, and which may bring them in; that the congregation of the LORD be not as sheep which have no shepherd.അകത്തുകൊണ്ടു പോകുവാനും സകല ജഡത്തിന്റെയും ആത്മാക്കളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ സഭയുടെ മേൽ ഒരാളെ നിയമിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Take you Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit, and lay yours hand upon him;യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു: എന്റെ ആത്മാവുള്ള പുരുഷനായി നൂന്റെ മകനായ യോശുവയെ വിളിച്ചു

And set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation; and give him a charge in their sight.അവന്റെ മേൽ കൈവെച്ചു അവനെ പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാരിന്റെയും സർവ്വസഭയുടെയും മുമ്പാകെ നിർത്തി അവർ കാൺകെ അവന്നു ആജ്ഞകൊടുക്ക.

And you shall put some of yours honour upon him, that all the congregation of the children of Israel may be obedient.യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ സഭയെല്ലാം അനുസരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിന്റെ മഹിമയിൽ ഒരംശം അവന്റെ മേൽ വെക്കേണം.

And he shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall ask counsel for him after the judgment of Urim before the LORD: at his word shall they go out, and at his word they shall come in, both he, and all the children of Israel with him, even all the congregation.അവൻ പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാരിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നിൽക്കേണം; അവൻ അവന്നു വേണ്ടി യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ഊരീംമുഖാന്തരം അരുളപ്പാടു ചോദിക്കേണം; അവനും യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ സർവ്വസഭയും അവന്റെ വാക്കുപ്രകാരം വരികയും വേണം.

And Moses did as the LORD commanded him: and he took Joshua, and set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation:യഹോവ തന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ മോശെ ചെയ്തു; അവൻ യോശുവയെ വിളിച്ചു പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാരിന്റെയും സർവ്വസഭയുടെയു മുമ്പാകെ നിർത്തി.

And he laid his hands upon him, and gave him a charge, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.അവന്റെമേൽ കൈവെച്ചു യഹോവ മോശെമുഖാന്തരം കല്പിച്ചതുപേലെ അവന്നു ആജ്ഞ കൊടുത്തു.
