Numbers 32

Now the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of cattle: and when they saw the land of Jazer, and the land of Gilead, that, behold, the place was a place for cattle;എന്നാൽ രൂബേന്യർക്കും ഗാദ്യർക്കും എത്രയും വളരെ ആടുമാടുകൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവർ യസേർദേശവും ഗിലെയാദ്‌ദേശവും ആടുമാടുകൾക്കു കൊള്ളാകുന്ന സ്ഥലം എന്നു കണ്ടിട്ടു വന്നു

The children of Gad and the children of Reuben came and spoke unto Moses, and to Eleazar the priest, and unto the princes of the congregation, saying,മോശെയൊടും പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാരിനോടും സഭയിലെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരോടും സംസാരിച്ചു:

Ataroth, and Dibon, and Jazer, and Nimrah, and Heshbon, and Elealeh, and Shebam, and Nebo, and Beon,അതാരോത്ത്, ദീബോൻ, യസേർ, നിമ്രാ, ഹെശ്ബോൻ, എലെയാലേ, സെബാം, നെബോ, ബെയോൻ

Even the country which the LORD stroke before the congregation of Israel, is a land for cattle, and your servants have cattle:എന്നിങ്ങനെ യഹോവ യിസ്രായേൽ സഭയുടെ മുമ്പിൽ ജയിച്ചടക്കിയ ദേശം ആടുമാടുകൾക്കു കൊള്ളാകുന്ന പ്രദേശം; അടിയങ്ങൾക്കോ ആടുമാടുകൾ ഉണ്ടു.

Wherefore, said they, if we have found grace in your sight, let this land be given unto your servants for a possession, and bring us not over Jordan.അതുകൊണ്ടു നിനക്കു അടയങ്ങളോടു കൃപയുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ ഈ ദേശം അടിയങ്ങൾക്കു അവകാശമായി തരേണം; ഞങ്ങളെ യോർദ്ദാന്നക്കരെ കൊണ്ടു പോകരുതേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And Moses said unto the children of Gad and to the children of Reuben, Shall your brethren go to war, and shall all of you sit here?മോശെ ഗാദ്യരോടും രൂഹേന്യരോടും പറഞ്ഞതു: നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മർ യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പോകുമ്പോൾ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഇവിടെ ഇരിക്കേണമെന്നോ?

And wherefore discourage all of you the heart of the children of Israel from going over into the land which the LORD has given them?യഹോവ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കു കൊടുത്തിട്ടുള്ള ദേശത്തേക്കു അവർ കടക്കാതിരിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം നിങ്ങൾ അവരെ അധൈര്യപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതു എന്തിന്നു?

Thus did your fathers, when I sent them from Kadeshbarnea to see the land.ഒറ്റുനോക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരെ കാദേശ്ബർന്നേയയിൽനിന്നു അയച്ചപ്പോൾ അവർ ഇങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ചെയ്തു.

For when they went up unto the valley of Eshcol, and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, that they should not go into the land which the LORD had given them.അവർ എസ്കോൽ താഴ്വരയൊളം ചെന്നു ദേശം കണ്ടശേഷം യഹോവ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കു കൊടുത്തിട്ടുള്ള ദേശത്തേക്കു പോകാതിരിക്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം അവരെ അധൈര്യപ്പെടുത്തി.

And the LORD's anger was kindled the same time, and he swore, saying,അന്നു യഹോവയുടെ കോപം ജ്വലിച്ചു; അവൻ സത്യംചേയ്തു കല്പിച്ചതു:

Surely none of the men that came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land which I swore unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob; because they have not wholly followed me:കെനിസ്യനായ യെഫുന്നെയുടെ മകൻ കാലേബും നൂന്റെ മകൻ യോശുവയും യഹോവയോടു പൂർണ്ണമായി പറ്റിനിന്നതുകൊണ്ടു

Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite, and Joshua the son of Nun: for they have wholly followed the LORD.അവരല്ലാതെ മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു പോന്നവരിൽ ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതൽ മേലോട്ടുള്ള ഒരുത്തനും ഞാൻ അബ്രാഹാമിനോടും യിസ്ഹാക്കിനോടും യാക്കോബിനോടും സത്യം ചെയ്ത ദേശത്തെ കാണുകയില്ല; അവർ എന്നോടു പൂർണ്ണമായി പറ്റി നിൽക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടു തന്നേ.

And the LORD's anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation, that had done evil in the sight of the LORD, was consumed.അങ്ങനെ യഹോവയുടെ കോപം യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ നേരെ ജ്വലിച്ചു; യഹോവെക്കു അനിഷ്ടമായുള്ളതു ചെയ്ത തലമുറ എല്ലാം മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകുവോളം അവൻ നാല്പതു സംവത്സരം അവരെ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ അലയുമാറാക്കി.

And, behold, all of you are risen up in your fathers' position, an increase of sinful men, to augment yet the fierce anger of the LORD toward Israel.എന്നാൽ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ നേരെ യഹോവയുടെ ഉഗ്രകോപം ഇനിയും വർദ്ധിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർക്കു പകരം നിങ്ങൾ പാപികളുടെ ഒരു കൂട്ടമായി എഴുന്നേറ്റിരിക്കുന്നു.

For if all of you turn away from after him, he will yet again leave them in the wilderness; and all of you shall destroy all this people.നിങ്ങൾ അവനെ വിട്ടു പിന്നോക്കം പോയാൽ അവൻ ഇനിയും അവരെ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ വിട്ടുകളയും; അങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങൾ ഈ ജനത്തെയെല്ലാം നശിപ്പിക്കും.

And they came near unto him, and said, We will build sheepfolds here for our cattle, and cities for our little ones:അപ്പോൾ അവർ അടുത്തു ചെന്നു പറഞ്ഞതു: ഞങ്ങൾ ഇവിടെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ ആടുമാടുകൾക്കു തൊഴുത്തുകളും ഞങ്ങളുടെ കുഞ്ഞുകുട്ടികൾക്കു പട്ടണങ്ങളും പണിയട്ടെ.

But we ourselves will go ready armed before the children of Israel, until we have brought them unto their place: and our little ones shall dwell in the fenced cities because of the inhabitants of the land.എങ്കിലും യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളെ അവരുടെ സ്ഥലത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോയി ആക്കുന്നതുവരെ ഞങ്ങൾ യുദ്ധസന്നദ്ധരായി അവർക്കു മുമ്പായി നടക്കും; ഞങ്ങളുടെ കുഞ്ഞുകുട്ടികളോ ദേശത്തിലെ നിവാസികൾ നിമിത്തം ഉറപ്പുള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങളിൽ പാർക്കട്ടെ.

We will not return unto our houses, until the children of Israel have inherited every man his inheritance.യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ അവകാശം അടക്കിക്കൊള്ളുംവരെ ഞങ്ങൾ ഞങ്ങളുടെ വീടുകളിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോരികയില്ല.

For we will not inherit with them on yonder side Jordan, or forward; because our inheritance is fallen to us on this side Jordan eastward.യോർദ്ദാന്നക്കരെയും അതിന്നപ്പുറവും ഞങ്ങൾ അവരോടുകൂടെ അവകാശം വാങ്ങുകയില്ല; കിഴക്കു യോർദ്ദാന്നിക്കരെ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു അവകാശം ഉണ്ടല്ലോ.

And Moses said unto them, If all of you will do this thing, if all of you will go armed before the LORD to war,അതിന്നു മോശെ അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: നിങ്ങൾ ഈ കാര്യം ചെയ്യുമെങ്കിൽ, യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ യുദ്ധസന്നദ്ധരായി പുറപ്പെട്ടു

And will go all of you armed over Jordan before the LORD, until he has driven out his enemies from before him,യഹോവ തന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു ശത്രുക്കളെ നീക്കിക്കളയുവോളം നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും അവന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ യുദ്ധസന്നദ്ധരായി യോർദ്ദാന്നക്കരെ കടന്നുപോകുമെങ്കിൽ

And the land be subdued before the LORD: then afterward all of you shall return, and be guiltless before the LORD, and before Israel; and this land shall be your possession before the LORD.ദേശം യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ കീഴമർന്നശേഷം നിങ്ങൾ മടങ്ങിപ്പോരികയും യഹോവയുടെയും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെയും മുമ്പാകെ കുറ്റമില്ലാത്തവരായിരിക്കയും ചെയ്യും; അപ്പോൾ ഈ ദേശം യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ നിങ്ങളുടെ അവകാശമാകും.

But if all of you will not do so, behold, all of you have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out.എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്കയില്ല എങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവയോടു പാപം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപഫലം നിങ്ങൾ അനുഭവിക്കും.

Build you cities for your little ones, and folds for your sheep; and do that which has proceeded out of your mouth.നിങ്ങളുടെ കുട്ടികൾക്കായി പട്ടണങ്ങളും നിങ്ങളുടെ ആടുകൾക്കായി തൊഴുത്തുകളും പണിതു നിങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ ചെയ്തുകൊൾവിൻ.

²⁵

And the children of Gad and the children of Reuben spoke unto Moses, saying, Your servants will do as my lord commands.ഗാദ്യരും രൂബേന്യരും മോശെയോടു യജമാനൻ കല്പിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അടിയങ്ങൾ ചെയ്തുകൊള്ളാം.

²⁶

Our little ones, our wives, our flocks, and all our cattle, shall be there in the cities of Gilead:ഞങ്ങളുടെ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളും ഭാര്യമാരും ഞങ്ങളുടെ കന്നുകാലികളും മൃഗങ്ങളൊക്കെയും ഗിലെയാദിലെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിൽ ഇരിക്കട്ടെ.

²⁷

But your servants will pass over, every man armed for war, before the LORD to battle, as my lord says.അടിയങ്ങളോ യജമാനൻ കല്പിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ എല്ലാവരും യുദ്ധസന്നദ്ധരായി യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു കടന്നു പോകാം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

So concerning them Moses commanded Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the chief fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel:ആകയാൽ മോശെ അവരെക്കുറിച്ചു പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാരിനോടും നൂന്റെ മകനായ യോശുവയോടും യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രപ്രധാനികളോടും കല്പിച്ചതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

And Moses said unto them, If the children of Gad and the children of Reuben will pass with you over Jordan, every man armed to battle, before the LORD, and the land shall be subdued before you; then all of you shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession:ഗാദ്യരും രൂബേന്യരും ഓരോരുത്തൻ യുദ്ധസന്നദ്ധനായി യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ യോർദ്ദാന്നക്കരെ കടന്നുപോരികയും ദേശം നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പാകെ കീഴടങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്താൽ നിങ്ങൾ അവർക്കു ഗിലെയാദ് ദേശം അവകാശമായി കൊടുക്കേണം.

³⁰

But if they will not pass over with you armed, they shall have possessions among you in the land of Canaan.എന്നാൽ അവർ നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ യുദ്ധസന്നദ്ധരായി അക്കരെക്കു കടക്കാതിരുന്നാൽ അവരുടെ അവകാശം നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ കനാൻ ദേശത്തുതന്നേ ആയിരിക്കേണം.

And the children of Gad and the children of Reuben answered, saying, As the LORD has said unto your servants, so will we do.ഗാദ്യരും രൂബേന്യരും അതിന്നു: യഹോവ അടിയങ്ങളോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുപോലെ ചെയ്തുകൊള്ളാം.

³²

We will pass over armed before the LORD into the land of Canaan, that the possession of our inheritance on this side Jordan may be ours.ഞങ്ങളുടെ അവകാശം ലഭിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ യുദ്ധസന്നദ്ധരായി കനാൻ ദേശത്തേക്കു കടന്നുപോകാം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And Moses gave unto them, even to the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, and unto half the tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph, the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, the land, with the cities thereof in the coasts, even the cities of the country round about.അപ്പോൾ മോശെ ഗാദ്യർക്കും രൂബേന്യർക്കും യോസേഫിന്റെ മകനായ മനശ്ശെയുടെ പാതിഗോത്രത്തിന്നും അമോർയ്യരാജാവായ സീഹോന്റെ രാജ്യവും ബാശാൻ രാജാവായ ഓഗിന്റെ രാജ്യവുമായ ദേശവും അതിന്റെ അതിരുകളിൽ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ദേശത്തിലെ പട്ടണങ്ങളും കൊടുത്തു.

³⁴

And the children of Gad built Dibon, and Ataroth, and Aroer,അങ്ങനെ ഗാദ്യർ ദീബോൻ, അതാരോത്ത്,

And Atroth, Shophan, and Jaazer, and Jogbehah,അരോയേർ, അത്രോത്ത്, ശോഫാൻ, യസേർ, യൊഗ്ബെഹാ,

³⁶

And Bethnimrah, and Bethharan, fenced cities: and folds for sheep.ബേത്ത്-നിമ്രാ, ബേത്ത്-ഹാരാൻ എന്നിവയെ ഉറപ്പുള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങളായും ആടുകൾക്കു തൊഴുത്തുകളായും പണിതു.

And the children of Reuben built Heshbon, and Elealeh, and Kirjathaim,രൂബേന്യർ ഹെശ്ബോനും എലെയാലേയും കിർയ്യത്തയീമും പേരുമാറ്റിക്കളഞ്ഞ നെബോ,

³⁸

And Nebo, and Baalmeon, (their names being changed,) and Shibmah: and gave other names unto the cities which they built.ബാൽമെയോൻ എന്നിവയും സിബ്മയും പണിതു; അവർ പണിത പട്ടണങ്ങൾക്കു പുതിയ പേരിട്ടു.

³⁹

And the children of Machir the son of Manasseh went to Gilead, and took it, and dispossessed the Amorite which was in it.മനശ്ശെയുടെ മകനായ മാഖീരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ ഗിലെയാദിൽ ചെന്നു അതിനെ അടക്കി, അവിടെ പാർത്തിരുന്ന അമോർയ്യരെ ഓടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

And Moses gave Gilead unto Machir the son of Manasseh; and he dwelt therein.മോശെ ഗിലെയാദ് ദേശം മനശ്ശെയുടെ മകനായ മാഖീരിന്നു കൊടുത്തു; അവൻ അവിടെ പാർത്തു.

And Jair the son of Manasseh went and took the small towns thereof, and called them Havothjair.മനശ്ശെയുടെ പുത്രനായ യായീർ ചെന്നു അതിലെ ഊരുകളെ അടക്കി, അവെക്കു ഹവവോത്ത്-യായീർ (യായീരിന്റെ ഊരുകൾ) എന്നു പേരിട്ടു.

And Nobah went and took Kenath, and the villages thereof, and called it Nobah, after his own name.നോബഹ് ചെന്നു കെനാത്ത് പട്ടണവും അതിന്റെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളും അടക്കി; അതിന്നു തന്റെ പേരിൻ പ്രകാരം നോബഹ് എന്നു പേരിട്ടു.

Numbers 33

These are the journeys of the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.മോശെയുടെയും അഹരോന്റെയും കൈക്കീഴിൽ ഗണംഗണമായി മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ട യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ പ്രയാണങ്ങൾ ആവിതു:

And Moses wrote their activities out according to their journeys by the commandment of the LORD: and these are their journeys according to their activities out.മോശെ യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനപ്രകാരം അവരുടെ പ്രയാണക്രമത്തിൽ അവരുടെ താവളങ്ങൾ എഴുതിവെച്ചു; താവളം താവളമായി അവർ ചെയ്ത പ്രയാണങ്ങൾ ആവിതു:

And they departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the next day after the passover the children of Israel went out with an high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.ഒന്നാം മാസം പതിനഞ്ചാം തിയ്യതി അവർ രമെസേസിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു; പെസഹ കഴിഞ്ഞ പിറ്റെന്നാൾ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ എല്ലാമിസ്രയീമ്യരും കാൺകെ യുദ്ധസന്നദ്ധരായി പുറപ്പെട്ടു.

For the Egyptians buried all their firstborn, which the LORD had smitten among them: upon their gods also the LORD executed judgments.മിസ്രയീമ്യരോ, യഹോവ തങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ സംഹരിച്ച കടിഞ്ഞൂലുകളെ എല്ലാം കുഴിച്ചിടുകയായിരുന്നു; അവരുടെ ദേവന്മാരുടെമേലും യഹോവ ന്യായവിധി നടത്തിയിരുന്നു.

And the children of Israel removed from Rameses, and pitched in Succoth.യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ രമെസേസിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു സുക്കോത്തിൽ പാളയമിറങ്ങി.

And they departed from Succoth, and pitched in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.സുക്കോത്തിൽനിന്നു അവർ പുറപ്പെട്ടു മരുഭൂമിയുടെ അറ്റത്തുള്ള ഏഥാമിൽ പാളയമിറങ്ങി.

And they removed from Etham, and turned again unto Pihahiroth, which is before Baalzephon: and they pitched before Migdol.ഏഥാമിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു ബാൽ-സെഫോന്നെതിരെയുള്ള പീഹഹീരോത്തിന്നു തിരിഞ്ഞുവന്നു; അവർ മിഗ്ദോലിന്നു കിഴക്കു പാളയമിറങ്ങി.

And they departed from before Pihahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and went three days' journey in the wilderness of Etham, and pitched in Marah.പീഹഹീരോത്തിന്നു കിഴക്കുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു കടലിന്റെ നടവിൽകൂടി മരുഭൂമിയിൽ കടന്നു ഏഥാമരുഭൂമിയിൽ മൂന്നു ദിവസത്തെ വഴിനടന്നു മാറയിൽ പാളയമിറങ്ങി.

And they removed from Marah, and came unto Elim: and in Elim were twelve fountains of water, and threescore and ten palm trees; and they pitched there.മാറയിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു ഏലീമിൽ എത്തി; ഏലീമിൽ പന്ത്രണ്ടു നീരുറവും എഴുപതു ഈത്തപ്പനയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതു കൊണ്ടു അവർ അവിടെ പാളയമിറങ്ങി.

And they removed from Elim, and encamped by the Red sea.ഏലീമിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു ചെങ്കടലിന്നരികെ പാളയമിറങ്ങി.

And they removed from the Red sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.ചെങ്കടലിന്നരികെനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു സീൻമരുഭൂമിയിൽ പാളയമിറങ്ങി.

And they took their journey out of the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah.സീൻമരുഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു ദൊഫ്ക്കുയിൽ പാളയമിറങ്ങി.

And they departed from Dophkah, and encamped in Alush.ദൊഫ്ക്കുയിൽ നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു ആലൂശിൽ പാളയമിറങ്ങി.

And they removed from Alush, and encamped at Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drink.ആലൂശിൽ നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു രെഫീദീമിൽ പാളയമിറങ്ങി; അവിടെ ജനത്തിന്നു കുടിപ്പാൻ വെള്ളമില്ലായിരുന്നു.

And they departed from Rephidim, and pitched in the wilderness of Sinai.രെഫീദീമിൽ നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു സീനായിമരുഭൂമിയിൽ പാളയമിറങ്ങി.

And they removed from the desert of Sinai, and pitched at Kibrothhattaavah.സീനായിമരുഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു കിബ്രോത്ത്-ഹത്താവയിൽ പാളയമിറങ്ങി.

And they departed from Kibrothhattaavah, and encamped at Hazeroth.കിബ്രോത്ത്-ഹത്താവയിൽ നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു ഹസേരോത്തിൽ പാളയമിറങ്ങി.

And they departed from Hazeroth, and pitched in Rithmah.ഹസേരോത്തിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു രിത്ത്മയിൽ പാളയമിറങ്ങി.

And they removed from Eziongaber, and pitched in the wilderness of Zin, which is Kadesh.എസ്യോൻ-ഗേബെരിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു സീൻമരുഭൂമിയിൽ പാളയമിറങ്ങി. അതാകുന്നു കാദേശ്.

And Aaron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the LORD, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the first day of the fifth month.പുരോഹിതനായ അഹരോൻ യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനപ്രകാരം ഹോർ പർവ്വതത്തിൽ കയറി, യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പോന്നതിന്റെ നാല്പതാം സംവത്സരം അഞ്ചാം മാസം ഒന്നാം തിയ്യതി അവിടെവെച്ചു മരിച്ചു.

And Aaron was an hundred and twenty and three years old when he died in mount Hor.അഹരോൻ ഹോർ പർവ്വതത്തിൽവെച്ചു മരിച്ചപ്പോൾ അവന്നു നൂറ്റിരുപത്തിമൂന്നു വയസ്സായിരുന്നു.

And king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.എന്നാൽ കനാൻ ദേശത്തു തെക്കു പാർത്തിരുന്ന കനാന്യനായ അരാദ്‍രാജാവു യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളുടെ വരവിനെക്കുറിച്ചു കേട്ടു.

And they departed from Zalmonah, and pitched in Punon.സല്മോനയിൽ നിന്നു പറപ്പെട്ടു പൂനോനിൽ പാളയമിറങ്ങി.

And they departed from Punon, and pitched in Oboth.പൂനോനിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു ഓബോത്തിൽ പാളയമിറങ്ങി.

And they departed from Oboth, and pitched in Ijeabarim, in the border of Moab.ഓബോത്തിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു മോവാബിന്റെ അതിരിങ്കൽ ഈയേ-അബാരീമിൽ പാളയമിറങ്ങി.

And they departed from Iim, and pitched in Dibongad.ഈയീമിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു ദീബോൻ ഗാദിൽ പാളയമിറങ്ങി.

And they removed from Dibongad, and encamped in Almondiblathaim.ദീബോൻ ഗാദിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു അല്മോദിബ്ളാഥയീമിൽ പാളയമിറങ്ങി.

And they removed from Almondiblathaim, and pitched in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.അല്മോദിബ്ളാഥയീമിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു നെബോവിന്നു കിഴക്കു അബാരീംപർവ്വതത്തിങ്കൽ പാളയമിറങ്ങി.

And they departed from the mountains of Abarim, and pitched in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.അബാരീംപർവ്വതത്തിങ്കൽ നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു യെരീഹോവിന്നെതിരെ യോർദ്ദാന്നരികെ മോവാബ് സമഭൂമിയിൽ പാളയമിറങ്ങി.

And they pitched by Jordan, from Bethjesimoth even unto Abelshittim in the plains of Moab.യോർദ്ദാന്നരികെ മോവാബ് സമഭൂമിയിൽ ബേത്ത്-യെശീമോത്ത് മുതൽ ആബേൽ-ശിത്തീംവരെ പാളയമിറങ്ങി.

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When all of you are passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan;നീ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടുന്നതെന്തെന്നാൽ: നിങ്ങൾ യോർദ്ദാന്നക്കരെ കനാൻ ദേശത്തേക്കു കടന്നശേഷം

Then all of you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places:ദേശത്തിലെ സകലനിവാസികളെയും നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെയും ബിംബങ്ങളെയും എല്ലാം തകർത്തു അവരുടെ സകലപൂജാഗിരികളെയും നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളയേണം.

And all of you shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it.നിങ്ങൾ ദേശം കൈവശമാക്കി അതിൽ കുടിപാർക്കേണം; നിങ്ങൾ കൈവശമാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ ആ ദേശം നിങ്ങൾക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

Numbers 34

Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When all of you come into the land of Canaan; (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan with the coasts thereof:)യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു നീ കല്പിക്കേണ്ടതെന്തെന്നാൽ: നിങ്ങൾ കനാൻ ദേശത്തു എത്തുമ്പോൾ നിങ്ങൾക്കു അവകാശമായി വരുവാനിരിക്കുന്ന ദേശത്തിന്റെ അതിർ ഇങ്ങനെ ആയിരിക്കേണം.

Then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the coast of Edom, and your south border shall be the utmost coast of the salt sea eastward:തെക്കെ ഭാഗം സീൻമരുഭൂമിതുടങ്ങി എദോമിന്റെ വശത്തുകൂടിയായിരിക്കേണം; നിങ്ങളുടെ തെക്കെ അതിർ കിഴക്കു ഉപ്പുകടലിന്റെ അറ്റം തുടങ്ങി ആയിരിക്കേണം.

And your border shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin: and the going forth thereof shall be from the south to Kadeshbarnea, and shall go on to Hazaraddar, and pass on to Azmon:പിന്നെ നിങ്ങളുടെ അതിർ അക്രബ്ബീംകയറ്റത്തിന്നു തെക്കോട്ടു തിരിഞ്ഞു സീനിലേക്കു കടന്നു കാദേശ്ബർന്നേയയുടെ തെക്കു അവസാനിക്കേണം. അവിടെനിന്നു ഹസർ-അദ്ദാർവരെ ചെന്നു അസ്മോനിലേക്കു കടക്കേണം.

And the border shall fetch a compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the activities out of it shall be at the sea.പിന്നെ അതിർ അസ്മോൻ തുടങ്ങി മിസ്രയീംതോട്ടിലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞു സമുദ്രത്തിങ്കൽ അവസാനിക്കേണം.

And as for the western border, all of you shall even have the great sea for a border: this shall be your west border.പടിഞ്ഞാറോ മഹാസമുദ്രം അതിർ ആയിരിക്കേണം. അതു നിങ്ങളുടെ പടിഞ്ഞാറെ അതിർ.

And this shall be your north border: from the great sea all of you shall point out for you mount Hor:വടക്കോ മഹാസമുദ്രംതുടങ്ങി ഹോർപർവ്വതം നിങ്ങളുടെ അതിരാക്കേണം.

From mount Hor all of you shall point out your border unto the entrance of Hamath; and the activities out of the border shall be to Zedad:ഹോർപർവ്വതംമുതൽ ഹമാത്ത്‌വരെ അതിരാക്കേണം. സെദാദിൽ ആ അതിർ അവസാനിക്കേണം;

And the border shall go on to Ziphron, and the activities out of it shall be at Hazarenan: this shall be your north border.പിന്നെ അതിർ സിഫ്രോൻ വരെ ചെന്നു ഹസാർ-ഏനാനിൽ അവസാനിക്കേണം; ഇതു നിങ്ങളുടെ വടക്കെ അതിർ.

And the coast shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall descend, and shall reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward:ശെഫാംതുടങ്ങി ആ അതിർ അയീന്റെ കിഴക്കു ഭാഗത്തു രിബ്ളാവരെ ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെന്നിട്ടു കിന്നേരെത്ത് കടലിന്റെ കിഴക്കെ കര തൊട്ടിരിക്കേണം.

And the border shall go down to Jordan, and the activities out of it shall be at the salt sea: this shall be your land with the coasts thereof round about.അവിടെ നിന്നു യോർദ്ദാൻ വഴിയായി ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു ഉപ്പുകടലിങ്കൽ അവസാനിക്കേണം. ഇതു ചുറ്റും നിങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തിന്റെ അതിർ ആയിരിക്കേണം.

And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which all of you shall inherit by lot, which the LORD commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half tribe:മോശെ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു കല്പിച്ചതു: നിങ്ങൾക്കു ചീട്ടിനാൽ അവകാശമായി ലഭിപ്പാനുള്ളതായി യഹോവ ഒമ്പതര ഗോത്രങ്ങൾക്കു കൊടുപ്പാൻ കല്പിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള ദേശം ഇതു തന്നേ.

For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to the house of their fathers, have received their inheritance; and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance:രൂബേൻ ഗോത്രക്കാരുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങൾക്കും ഗാദ്ഗോത്രക്കാരുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങൾക്കും മനശ്ശെയുടെ പാതി ഗോത്രത്തിന്നും താന്താങ്ങളുടെ അവകാശം ലഭിച്ചുവല്ലോ.

The two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this side Jordan near Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising.ഈ രണ്ടര ഗോത്രത്തിന്നു അവകാശം ലഭിച്ചതു കിഴക്കൻ പ്രദേശത്തു യെരീഹോവിന്നു കിഴക്കു യോർദ്ദാന്നക്കരെ ആയിരുന്നു.

These are the names of the men which shall divide the land unto you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.നിങ്ങൾക്കു ദേശം വിഭാഗിച്ചു തരേണ്ടുന്നവരുടെ പേരുകൾ ആവിതു: പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാരും നൂന്റെ മകനായ യോശുവയും.

These are they whom the LORD commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കു കനാൻ ദേശത്തു അവകാശം വിഭാഗിച്ചുകൊടുക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യഹോവ നിയമിച്ചവർ ഇവർ തന്നേ.

Numbers 35

And the LORD spoke unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,യഹോവ പിന്നെയും യെരീഹോവിന്നെതിരെ യോർദ്ദാന്നരികെ മോവാബ് സമഭൂമിയിൽവെച്ചു മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു:

Command the children of Israel, that they give unto the Levites of the inheritance of their possession cities to dwell in; and all of you shall give also unto the Levites suburbs for the cities round about them.യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ തങ്ങളുടെ അവകാശത്തിൽനിന്നു ലേവ്യർക്കു വസിപ്പാൻ പട്ടങ്ങൾ കൊടുക്കേണമെന്നു അവരോടു കല്പിക്ക; പട്ടണങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ അവയുടെ പുല്പുറവും നിങ്ങൾ ലേവ്യർക്കു കൊടുക്കേണം.

And the cities shall they have to dwell in; and the suburbs of them shall be for their cattle, and for their goods, and for all their beasts.പട്ടണങ്ങൾ അവർക്കു പാർപ്പിടമായിരിക്കേണം; അവയുടെ പുല്പുറം ആടുമാടുകൾ മുതലായ സകലമൃഗസമ്പത്തിന്നും വേണ്ടി ആയിരിക്കേണം.

And the suburbs of the cities, which all of you shall give unto the Levites, shall reach from the wall of the city and outward a thousand cubits round about.നിങ്ങൾ ലേവ്യർക്കു കൊടുക്കേണ്ടുന്ന പുല്പുറം. പട്ടണത്തിന്റെ മതിലിങ്കൽ തുടങ്ങിപുറത്തോട്ടു ചുറ്റും ആയിരം മുഴം വിസ്താരം ആയിരിക്കേണം.

And all of you shall measure from without the city on the east side two thousand cubits, and on the south side two thousand cubits, and on the west side two thousand cubits, and on the north side two thousand cubits; and the city shall be in the midst: this shall be to them the suburbs of the cities.പട്ടണം നടുവാക്കി അതിന്നു പുറമെ കിഴക്കോട്ടു രണ്ടായിരം മുഴവും തെക്കോട്ടു രണ്ടായിരം മുഴവും പടിഞ്ഞാറോട്ടു രണ്ടായിരം മുഴവും വടക്കോട്ടു രണ്ടായിരം മുഴവും അളക്കേണം; ഇതു അവർക്കു പട്ടണങ്ങളുടെ പുല്പുറം ആയിരിക്കേണം.

And among the cities which all of you shall give unto the Levites there shall be six cities for refuge, which all of you shall appoint for the murderer, that he may flee thither: and to them all of you shall add forty and two cities.നിങ്ങൾ ലേവ്യർക്കു കൊടുക്കുന്ന പട്ടണങ്ങളിൽ ആറു സങ്കേതനഗരങ്ങളായിരിക്കേണം; കുലചെയ്തവൻ അവിടേക്കു ഓടിപ്പോകേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അവയെ അവന്നു വേണ്ടി വേറുതിരിക്കേണം; ഇവകൂടാതെ നിങ്ങൾ വേറെയും നാല്പത്തുരണ്ടു പട്ടണങ്ങളെ കൊടുക്കേണം.

So all the cities which all of you shall give to the Levites shall be forty and eight cities: them shall all of you give with their suburbs.അങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങൾ ലേവ്യർക്കു കൊടുക്കുന്ന പട്ടണങ്ങൾ എല്ലാംകൂടെ നാല്പത്തെട്ടു ആയിരിക്കേണം; അവയും അവയുടെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും കൊടുക്കേണം.

And the cities which all of you shall give shall be of the possession of the children of Israel: from them that have many all of you shall give many; but from them that have few all of you shall give few: every one shall give of his cities unto the Levites according to his inheritance which he inherits.യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ അവകാശത്തിൽനിന്നു ജനമേറിയവർ ഏറെയും ജനം കുറഞ്ഞവർ കുറെയും പട്ടണങ്ങൾ കൊടുക്കേണം; ഓരോ ഗോത്രം തനിക്കു ലഭിക്കുന്ന അവകാശത്തിന്നു ഒത്തവണ്ണം ലേവ്യർക്കു പട്ടണങ്ങളെ കൊടുക്കേണം.

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു:

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When all of you be come over Jordan into the land of Canaan;നീ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതെന്തെന്നാൽ: നിങ്ങൾ യോർദ്ദാൻ കടന്നു കനാൻ ദേശത്തു എത്തിയശേഷം

Then all of you shall appoint you cities to be cities of refuge for you; that the slayer may flee thither, which kills any person at unexpectedly.ചില പട്ടണങ്ങൾ സങ്കേതനഗരങ്ങളായി വേറുതിരിക്കേണം; അബദ്ധവശാൽ ഒരുത്തനെ കൊന്നുപോയവൻ അവിടേക്കു ഓടിപ്പോകേണം.

And they shall be unto you cities for refuge from the avenger; that the murderer die not, until he stand before the congregation in judgment.കുലചെയ്തവൻ സഭയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ വിസ്താരത്തിന്നു നില്ക്കുംവരെ അവൻ പ്രതികാരകന്റെ കയ്യാൽ മരിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവ സങ്കേതനഗരങ്ങൾ ആയിരിക്കേണം.

And of these cities which all of you shall give six cities shall all of you have for refuge.നിങ്ങൾ കൊടുക്കുന്ന പട്ടണങ്ങളിൽ ആറെണ്ണം സങ്കേതനഗരം ആയിരിക്കേണം.

¹⁴

All of you shall give three cities on this side Jordan, and three cities shall all of you give in the land of Canaan, which shall be cities of refuge.യോർദ്ദാന്നക്കരെ മൂന്നുപട്ടണവും കനാൻ ദേശത്തു മൂന്നു പട്ടണവും കൊടുക്കേണം; അവ സങ്കേതനഗരങ്ങൾ ആയിരിക്കേണം.

¹⁵

These six cities shall be a refuge, both for the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them: that every one that kills any person unexpectedly may flee thither.അബദ്ധവശാൽ ഒരുത്തനെ കൊല്ലുന്നവൻ ഏവനും അവിടേക്കു ഓടിപ്പോകേണ്ടതിന്നു ഈ ആറുപട്ടണം യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കും പരദേശിക്കും വന്നുപാർക്കുന്നവന്നും സങ്കേതം ആയിരിക്കേണം.

And if he strike him with an instrument of iron, so that he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.എന്നാൽ ആരെങ്കിലും ഇരുമ്പായുധംകൊണ്ടു ഒരുത്തനെ അടിച്ചിട്ടു അവൻ മരിച്ചുപോയാൽ അവൻ കുലപാതകൻ; കുലപാതകൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

And if he strike him with throwing a stone, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.മരിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം ആരെങ്കിലും ഒരുത്തനെ കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞിട്ടു അവൻ മരിച്ചുപോയാൽ അവൻ കുലപാതകൻ; കുലപാതകൻ മരണ ശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

Or if he strike him with an hand weapon of wood, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.അല്ലെങ്കിൽ മരിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം ആരെങ്കിലും കയ്യിലിരുന്ന മരയായുധംകൊണ്ടു ഒരുത്തനെ അടിച്ചിട്ടു അവൻ മരിച്ചുപോയാൽ അവൻ കുലപാതകൻ; കുലപാതകൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

The revenger of blood himself shall slay the murderer: when he meet him, he shall slay him.രക്തപ്രതികാരകൻ തന്നേ കുലപാതകനെ കൊല്ലേണം; അവനെ കണ്ടുകൂടുമ്പോൾ അവനെ കൊല്ലേണം.

²⁰

But if he thrust him of hatred, or hurl at him by laying of wait, that he die;ആരെങ്കിലും ദ്വേഷംനിമിത്തം ഒരുത്തനെ കുത്തുകയോ കരുതിക്കൂട്ടി അവന്റെമേൽ വല്ലതും എറികയോ ചെയ്തിട്ടു അവൻ മരിച്ചുപോയാൽ,

Or in enmity strike him with his hand, that he die: he that stroke him shall surely be put to death; for he is a murderer: the revenger of blood shall slay the murderer, when he meet him.അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ശത്രുതയാൽ കൈകൊണ്ടു അവനെ അടിച്ചിട്ടു അവൻ മരിച്ചുപോയാൽ അവനെ കൊന്നവൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം. അവൻ കുലപാതകൻ; രക്തപ്രതികാരകൻ കുലപാതകനെ കണ്ടുകൂടുമ്പോൾ കൊന്നുകളയേണം.

But if he thrust him suddenly without enmity, or have cast upon him any thing without laying of wait,എന്നാൽ ആരെങ്കിലും ശത്രുതകൂടാതെ പെട്ടെന്നു ഒരുത്തനെ കുത്തുകയോ കരുതാതെ വല്ലതും അവന്റെ മേൽ എറിഞ്ഞുപോകയോ,

Or with any stone, wherewith a man may die, seeing him not, and cast it upon him, that he die, and was not his enemy, neither sought his harm:അവന്നു ശത്രുവായിരിക്കാതെയും അവന്നു ദോഷം വിചാരിക്കാതെയും അവൻ മരിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം അവനെ കാണാതെ കല്ലു എറികയോ ചെയ്തിട്ടു അവൻ മരിച്ചു പോയാൽ

Then the congregation shall judge between the slayer and the revenger of blood according to these judgments:കുലചെയ്തവന്നും രക്തപ്രതികാരകന്നും മദ്ധ്യേ ഈ ന്യായങ്ങളെ അനുസരിച്ചു സഭ വിധിക്കേണം.

²⁵

And the congregation shall deliver the slayer out of the hand of the revenger of blood, and the congregation shall restore him to the city of his refuge, where he was fled: and he shall abide in it unto the death of the high priest, which was anointed with the holy oil.കുലചെയ്തവനെ സഭ രക്തപ്രതികാരകന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു രക്ഷിക്കേണം; അവൻ ഓടിപ്പോയിരുന്ന സങ്കേതനഗരത്തിലേക്കു അവനെ മടക്കി അയക്കേണം; വിശുദ്ധതൈലത്താൽ അഭിഷിക്തനായ മഹാപുരോഹിതന്റെ മരണംവരെ അവൻ അവിടെ പാർക്കേണം.

²⁶

But if the slayer shall at any time come without the border of the city of his refuge, where he was fled;എന്നാൽ കുലചെയ്തവൻ ഓടിപ്പോയിരുന്ന സങ്കേതനഗരത്തിന്റെ അതിർ വിട്ടു പുറത്തു വരികയും

And the revenger of blood find him without the borders of the city of his refuge, and the revenger of blood kill the slayer; he shall not be guilty of blood:അവനെ അവന്റെ സങ്കേതനഗരത്തിന്റെ അതിരിന്നു പുറത്തുവെച്ചു കണ്ടു രക്തപ്രതികാരകൻ കുലചെയ്തവനെ കൊല്ലുകയും ചെയ്താൽ അവന്നു രക്തപാതകം ഇല്ല.

²⁸

Because he should have remained in the city of his refuge until the death of the high priest: but after the death of the high priest the slayer shall return into the land of his possession.അവൻ മഹാപുരോഹിതന്റെ മരണംവരെ തന്റെ സങ്കേതനഗരത്തിൽ പാർക്കേണ്ടിയിരുന്നു; എന്നാൽ കുലചെയ്തവന്നു മഹാപുരോഹിതന്റെ മരണശേഷം തന്റെ അവകാശഭൂമിയിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോകാം.

²⁹

So these things shall be for a statute of judgment unto you throughout your generations in all your dwellings.ഇതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു തലമുറതലമുറയായി നിങ്ങളുടെ സകലവാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും ന്യായവിധിക്കുള്ള പ്രമാണം ആയിരിക്കേണം.

³⁰

Whoso kills any person, the murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of witnesses: but one witness shall not testify against any person to cause him to die.ആരെങ്കിലും ഒരുത്തനെ കൊന്നാൽ കുലപാതകൻ സാക്ഷികളുടെ വാമൊഴിപ്രകാരം മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം; എന്നാൽ ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്റെ നേരെ മരണശിക്ഷെക്കു ഏകസാക്ഷിയുടെ മൊഴി മതിയാകുന്നതല്ല.

³¹

Moreover all of you shall take no satisfaction for the life of a murderer, which is guilty of death: but he shall be surely put to death.മരണയോഗ്യനായ കുലപാതകന്റെ ജീവന്നുവേണ്ടി നിങ്ങൾ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പു വില വാങ്ങരുതു; അവൻ മരണശിക്ഷ തന്നേ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

And all of you shall take no satisfaction for him that is fled to the city of his refuge, that he should come again to dwell in the land, until the death of the priest.സങ്കേതനഗരത്തിലേക്കു ഓടിപ്പോയവൻ പുരോഹിതന്റെ മരണത്തിന്നു മുമ്പെ നാട്ടിൽ മടങ്ങിവന്നു പാർക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും നിങ്ങൾ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പുവില വാങ്ങരുതു.

³³

So all of you shall not pollute the land wherein all of you are: for blood it defiles the land: and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it.നിങ്ങൾ പാർക്കുന്ന ദേശം അങ്ങനെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കരുതു; രക്തം ദേശത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുന്നു; ദേശത്തിൽ ചൊരിഞ്ഞ രക്തത്തിന്നുവേണ്ടി രക്തം ചൊരിയിച്ചവന്റെ രക്തത്താൽ അല്ലാതെ ദേശത്തിന്നു പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം സാദ്ധമല്ല.

³⁴

Defile not therefore the land which all of you shall inhabit, wherein I dwell: for I the LORD dwell among the children of Israel.അതു കൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ അധിവസിക്കുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ പാർപ്പിടമായ ദേശം അശുദ്ധമാക്കരുതു; യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ അധിവസിക്കുന്നു.
