Rebuke not an elder, but implore him as a father; and the younger men as brethren;മൂത്തവനെ ഭർത്സിക്കാതെ അപ്പനെപ്പോലയും ഇളയവരെ സഹോദരന്മാരെപ്പോലെയും

The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.മൂത്ത സ്ത്രീകളെ അമ്മമാരെപ്പോലെയും ഇളയ സ്ത്രീകളെ പൂർണ്ണനിർമ്മലതയോടെ സഹോദരികളെപ്പോലെയും പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്ക.

Honour widows that are widows indeed.സാക്ഷാൽ വിധവമാരായിരിക്കുന്ന വിധവമാരെ മാനിക്ക.

But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to show piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God.വല്ല വിധവെക്കും പുത്രപൌത്രന്മാർ ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ അവർ മുമ്പെ സ്വന്തകുടുംബത്തിൽ ഭക്തി കാണിച്ചു അമ്മയപ്പന്മാർക്കു പ്രത്യുപകാരം ചെയ്‍വാൻ പഠിക്കട്ടെ; ഇതു ദൈവസന്നിധിയിൽ പ്രസാദകരമാകുന്നു.

Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusts in God, and continues in supplications and prayers night and day.സാക്ഷാൽ വിധവയും ഏകാകിയുമായവൾ ദൈവത്തിൽ ആശവെച്ചു രാപ്പകൽ യാചനയിലും പ്രാർത്ഥനയിലും ഉറ്റുപാർക്കുന്നു.

But she that lives in pleasure is dead while she lives.കാമുകിയായവളോ ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കയിൽ തന്നേ ചത്തവൾ.

And these things give in charge, that they may be blameless.അവർ നിരപവാദ്യമാരായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ ഇതു ആജ്ഞാപിക്ക.

But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.തനിക്കുള്ളവർക്കും പ്രത്യേകം സ്വന്ത കുടുംബക്കാർക്കും വേണ്ടി കരുതാത്തവൻ വിശ്വാസം തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞു അവിശ്വാസിയെക്കാൾ അധമനായിരിക്കുന്നു.

Let not a widow be taken into the number under threescore years old, having been the wife of one man.സൽപ്രവൃത്തികളാൽ ശ്രുതിപ്പെട്ടു ഏകഭർത്താവിന്റെ ഭാര്യയായിരുന്നു അറുപതു വയസ്സിന്നു താഴെയല്ലാത്ത വിധവ

Well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints' feet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every good work.മക്കളെ വളർത്തുകയോ അതിഥികളെ സല്ക്കരിക്കയോ വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുടെ കാലുകളെ കഴുകുകയോ ഞെരുക്കമുള്ളവർക്കു മുട്ടുതീർക്കുകയോ സർവ്വസൽപ്രവൃത്തിയും ചെയ്തു പോരുകയോ ചെയ്തു എങ്കിൽ അവളെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കാം.

But the younger widows refuse: for when they have begun to wax wanton against Christ, they will marry;ഇളയ വിധവമാരെ ഒഴിക്ക; അവർ ക്രിസ്തുവിന്നു വിരോധമായി പുളെച്ചു മദിക്കുമ്പോൾ വിവാഹം ചെയ്‍വാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കും.

Having damnation, because they have cast off their first faith.ആദ്യവിശ്വാസം തള്ളുകയാൽ അവർക്കു ശിക്ഷാവിധി ഉണ്ടു.

And likewise they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but gossiping also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.അത്രയുമല്ല അവർ വീടുതോറും നടന്നു മിനക്കെടുവാനും ശീലിക്കും; മിനക്കെടുക മാത്രമല്ല വായാടികളും പരകാര്യത്തിൽ ഇടപെടുന്നവരുമായി അരുതാത്തതു സംസാരിക്കും.

I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.ആകയാൽ ഇളയവർ വിവാഹം ചെയ്കയും പുത്രസമ്പത്തുണ്ടാക്കുകയും ഭവനം രക്ഷിക്കയും വിരോധിക്കു അപവാദത്തിന്നു അവസരം ഒന്നും കൊടുക്കാതിരിക്കയും വേണം എന്നു ഞാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നു.

For some are already turned aside after Satan.ഇപ്പോൾ തന്നേ ചിലർ സാത്താന്റെ പിന്നാലെ പോയല്ലോ.

If any man or woman that believes have widows, let them relieve them, and let not the church be charged; that it may relieve them that are widows indeed.ഒരു വിശ്വാസിനിക്കു വിധവമാർ ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ അവൾ തന്നേ അവർക്കു മുട്ടുതീർക്കട്ടെ; സഭെക്കു ഭാരം വരരുതു; സാക്ഷാൽ വിധവമാരായവർക്കു മുട്ടുതീർപ്പാനുണ്ടല്ലോ.

Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.നന്നായി ഭരിക്കുന്ന മൂപ്പന്മാരെ, പ്രത്യേകം വചനത്തിലും ഉപദേശത്തിലും അദ്ധ്വാനിക്കുന്നവരെ തന്നേ, ഇരട്ടി മാനത്തിന്നു യോഗ്യരായി എണ്ണുക.

For the scripture says, You shall not suppress the ox that treads out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.മെതിക്കുന്ന കാളെക്കു മുഖക്കൊട്ട കെട്ടരുതു എന്നു തിരുവെഴുത്തു പറയുന്നു; വേലക്കാരൻ തന്റെ കൂലിക്കു യോഗ്യൻ എന്നും ഉണ്ടല്ലോ.

Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses.രണ്ടു മൂന്നു സാക്ഷികൾ മുഖേനയല്ലാതെ ഒരു മൂപ്പന്റെ നേരെ അന്യായം എടുക്കരുതു.

Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.പാപം ചെയ്യുന്നവരെ ശേഷമുള്ളവർക്കും ഭയത്തിന്നായി എല്ലാവരും കേൾക്കെ ശാസിക്ക.

I charge you before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that you observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.നീ പക്ഷമായി ഒന്നും ചെയ്യാതെകണ്ടു സിദ്ധാന്തം കൂടാതെ ഇവ പ്രമാണിച്ചുകൊള്ളേണം എന്നു ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തെയും ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിനെയും ശ്രേഷ്ഠദൂതന്മാരെയും സാക്ഷിയാക്കി നിന്നോടു കല്പിക്കുന്നു.

Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep yourself pure.യാതൊരുത്തന്റെ മേലും വേഗത്തിൽ കൈവെക്കരുതു; അന്യന്മാരുടെ പാപങ്ങളിൽ ഓഹരിക്കാരനാകയുമരുതു. നിന്നെത്തന്നെ നിർമ്മലനായി കാത്തുകൊൾക.

Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for your stomach's sake and yours often infirmities.മേലാൽ വെള്ളം മാത്രം കുടിക്കാതെ നിന്റെ അജീർണ്ണതയും കൂടെക്കൂടെയുള്ള ക്ഷീണതയും നിമിത്തം അല്പം വീഞ്ഞും സേവിച്ചുകൊൾക.

Some men's sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after.ചില മനുഷ്യരുടെ പാപങ്ങൾ വിസ്താരത്തിന്നു മുമ്പെ തന്നേ വെളിവായിരിക്കുന്നു; ചിലരുടെ പാപങ്ങളോ ക്രമേണയത്രേ.

Likewise also the good works of some are manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be hid.സൽപ്രവൃത്തികളും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ വെളിവാകുന്നു; വെളിവാകാത്തവയും മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കയില്ല.

1 Timothy 6

Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.നുകത്തിൻ കീഴിൽ ദാസന്മാരായിരിക്കുന്നവർ ഒക്കെയും ദൈവനാമവും ഉപദേശവും ദുഷിക്കപ്പെടാതിരിപ്പാൻ തങ്ങളുടെ യജമാനന്മാരെ സകലമാനത്തിന്നും യോഗ്യന്മാർ എന്നു എണ്ണേണ്ടതാകുന്നു.

And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.വിശ്വാസികളായ യജമാനന്മാരുള്ളവർ അവരെ സഹോദരന്മാർ എന്നുവെച്ചു അലക്ഷ്യമാക്കരുതു; തങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ടുള്ള ഉപകാരം അനുഭവിക്കുന്നവർ വിശ്വാസികളും പ്രിയരും ആകകൊണ്ടു അവരെ വിശേഷാൽ സേവിക്കയത്രേ വേണ്ടതു; ഇതു നീ ഉപദേശിക്കയും പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്ക.

If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ പത്ഥ്യവചനവും ഭക്തിക്കൊത്ത ഉപദേശവും അനുസരിക്കാതെ അന്യഥാ ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നവൻ

He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof comes envy, strife, railings, evil questionings,ഒന്നും തിരിച്ചറിയാതെ തർക്കത്തിന്റെയും വാഗ്വാദത്തിന്റേയും ഭ്രാന്തു പിടിച്ചു ചീർത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവയാൽ അസൂയ, ശണ്ഠ,

Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw yourself.ദൂഷണം, ദുസ്സംശയം, ദുർബ്ബുദ്ധികളും സത്യ ത്യാഗികളുമായ മനുഷ്യരുടെ വ്യർത്ഥ്യവാദം എന്നിവ ഉളവാകുന്നു; അവർ ദൈവഭക്തി ആദായസൂത്രം എന്നു വിചാരിക്കുന്നു.

But godliness with contentment is great gain.അലംഭാവത്തോടുകൂടിയ ദൈവഭക്തി വലുതായ ആദായം ആകുന്നുതാനും.

For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.ഇഹലോകത്തിലേക്കു നാം ഒന്നും കൊണ്ടുവന്നിട്ടില്ല; ഇവിടെനിന്നു യാതൊന്നും കൊണ്ടുപോകുവാൻ കഴിയുന്നതുമല്ല.

And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.ഉണ്മാനും ഉടുപ്പാനും ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ മതി എന്നു നാം വിചാരിക്ക.

But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.ധനികന്മാരാകുവാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവർ പരീക്ഷയിലും കെണിയിലും കുടുങ്ങുകയും മനുഷ്യർ സംഹാരനാശങ്ങളിൽ മുങ്ങിപോകുവാൻ ഇടവരുന്ന മൌഢ്യവും ദോഷകരവുമായ പല മോഹങ്ങൾക്കും ഇരയായിത്തീരുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.ദ്രവ്യാഗ്രഹം സകലവിധ ദോഷത്തിന്നും മൂലമല്ലോ. ഇതു ചിലർ കാംക്ഷിച്ചിട്ടു വിശ്വാസം വിട്ടുഴന്നു ബഹുദുഃഖങ്ങൾക്കു അധീനരായിത്തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

But you, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.നീയോ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മനുഷ്യനായുള്ളോവേ, അതു വിട്ടോടി നീതി, ഭക്തി, വിശ്വാസം, സ്നേഹം, ക്ഷമ, സൌമ്യത എന്നിവയെ പിന്തുടരുക.

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, unto which you are also called, and have professed a good profession before many witnesses.വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ നല്ല പോർ പൊരുതുക; നിത്യജീവനെ പിടിച്ചുകൊൾക; അതിന്നായി നീ വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടു അനേകം സാക്ഷികളുടെ മുമ്പാകെ നല്ല സ്വീകാരം കഴിച്ചുവല്ലോ.

I give you charge in the sight of God, who replenishes life to all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;നീ നിഷ്കളങ്കനും നിരപവാദ്യനുമായി ഈ കല്പന നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവായ യേശുവിന്റെ പ്രത്യക്ഷതവരെ പ്രമാണിച്ചുകൊള്ളേണം

That you keep this commandment without spot, blameless, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:എന്നിങ്ങനെ സകലത്തെയും ജീവിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ദൈവത്തെയും പൊന്തിയൊസ് പീലാത്തൊസിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നല്ല സ്വീകാരം കഴിച്ച ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിനെയും സാക്ഷിവെച്ചു ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു ആജ്ഞാപിക്കുന്നു.

Which in his times he shall show, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;ധന്യനായ ഏകാധിപതിയും രാജാധിരാജാവും കർത്താധികർത്താവും

¹⁶

Who only has immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man has seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.താൻ മാത്രം അമർത്യതയുള്ളവനും അടുത്തുകൂടാത്ത വെളിച്ചത്തിൽ വസിക്കുന്നവനും മനുഷ്യർ ആരും കാണാത്തവനും കാണ്മാൻ കഴിയാത്തവനുമായവൻ തക്കസമയത്തു ആ പ്രത്യക്ഷതവരുത്തും. അവന്നു ബഹുമാനവും നിത്യബലവും ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ. ആമേൻ.

Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high-minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy;ഈ ലോകത്തിലെ ധനവാന്മാരോടു ഉന്നത ഭാവം കൂടാതെയിരിപ്പാനും നിശ്ചയമില്ലാത്ത ധനത്തിലല്ല, നമുക്കു സകലവും ധാരാളമായി അനുഭവിപ്പാൻ തരുന്ന ദൈവത്തിൽ

That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;ആശവെപ്പാനും നന്മ ചെയ്‍വാനും സൽപ്രവൃത്തികളിൽ സമ്പന്നരായി ദാനശീലരും ഔദാര്യമുള്ളവരുമായി

Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.സാക്ഷാലുള്ള ജീവനെ പിടിച്ചു കൊള്ളേണ്ടതിന്നു വരുംകാലത്തേക്കു നല്ലോരു അടിസ്ഥാനം നിക്ഷേപിച്ചുകൊൾവാനും ആജ്ഞാപിക്ക.

O Timothy, keep that which is committed to your trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:അല്ലയോ തിമൊഥെയോസേ, നിന്റെ പക്കൽ ഏല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഉപനിധി കാത്തുകൊണ്ടു ജ്ഞാനം എന്നു വ്യാജമായി പേർ പറയുന്നതിന്റെ ഭക്തിവിരുദ്ധമായ വൃഥാലാപങ്ങളെയും തർക്കസൂത്രങ്ങളെയും ഒഴിഞ്ഞു നിൽക്ക.

Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with you. Amen.ആ ജ്ഞാനം ചിലർ സ്വീകരിച്ചു വിശ്വാസം വിട്ടു തെറ്റിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്നു. [22] കൃപ നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ.

2 Timothy 1

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus,ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിലുള്ള ജീവന്റെ വാഗ്ദത്ത പ്രകാരം ദൈവേഷ്ടത്താൽ ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിന്റെ അപ്പൊസ്തലനായ പൌലൊസ് പ്രിയ മകനായ തിമൊഥെയൊസിന്നു എഴുതുന്നതു:

To Timothy, my dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിങ്കൽനിന്നും നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിങ്കൽ നിന്നും നിനക്കു കൃപയും കനിവും സമാധാനവും ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ.

I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of you in my prayers night and day;എന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥനയിൽ രാവും പകലും ഇടവിടാതെ നിന്നെ സ്മരിച്ചു നിന്റെ കണ്ണുനീർ ഓർത്തും നിന്നെ കണ്ടു സന്തോഷപൂർണ്ണനാകുവാൻ വാഞ്ഛിച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു

Greatly desiring to see you, being mindful of your tears, that I may be filled with joy;ഞാൻ പൂർവ്വന്മാരുടെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തം അനുസരിച്ചു നിർമ്മലമനസ്സാക്ഷിയോടെ ആരാധിക്കുന്ന ദൈവത്തിന്നു നിന്റെ നിർവ്യാജവിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ ഓർമ്മനിമിത്തം സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യുന്നു.

When I call to remembrance the sincere faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois, and your mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in you also.ആ വിശ്വാസം ആദ്യം നിന്റെ വലിയമ്മ ലോവീസിലും അമ്മ യൂനീക്കയിലും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; നിന്നിലും ഉണ്ടെന്നു ഞാൻ ഉറെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

Wherefore I put you in remembrance that you stir up the gift of God, which is in you by the putting on of my hands.അതുകൊണ്ടു എന്റെ കൈവെപ്പിനാൽ നിന്നിലുള്ള ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കൃപാവരം ജ്വലിപ്പിക്കേണം എന്നു നിന്നെ ഓർമ്മപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു.

For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.ഭീരുത്വത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെ അല്ല, ശക്തിയുടെയും സ്നേഹത്തിന്റെയും സുബോധത്തിന്റെയും ആത്മാവിനെയത്രേ ദൈവം നമുക്കു തന്നതു.

Be not you therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be you partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;അതുകൊണ്ടു നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവിന്റെ സാക്ഷ്യത്തെയും അവന്റെ ബദ്ധനായ എന്നെയും കുറിച്ചു ലജ്ജിക്കാതെ സുവിശേഷത്തിന്നായി ദൈവശക്തിക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം നീയും എന്നോടുകൂടെ കഷ്ടം സഹിക്ക.

Who has saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,അവൻ നമ്മെ രക്ഷിക്കയും വിശുദ്ധവിളികൊണ്ടു വിളിക്കയും ചെയ്തതു നമ്മുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ നിമിത്തമല്ല, സകലകാലത്തിന്നും മുമ്പെ ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിൽ നമുക്കു നല്കിയിരിക്കുന്നതും ഇപ്പോൾ മരണം നീക്കുകയും

But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who has abolished death, and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:സുവിശേഷം കൊണ്ടു ജീവനും അക്ഷയതയും വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്ത നമ്മുടെ രക്ഷിതാവായ ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിന്റെ പ്രത്യക്ഷതയാൽ വെളിപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നതുമായ തന്റെ സ്വന്ത നിർണ്ണയത്തിന്നും കൃപെക്കും ഒത്തവണ്ണമത്രേ.

Unto which I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.ആ സുവിശേഷത്തിന്നു ഞാൻ പ്രസംഗിയും അപ്പൊസ്തലനും ഉപദേഷ്ടാവുമായി നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.അതു നിമിത്തം തന്നേ ഞാൻ ഇതൊക്കെയും സഹിക്കുന്നു; എങ്കിലും ലജ്ജിക്കുന്നില്ല; ഞാൻ ആരെ വിശ്വസിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നറിയുന്നു; അവൻ എന്റെ ഉപനിധി ആ ദിവസംവരെ സൂക്ഷിപ്പാൻ ശക്തൻ എന്നു ഉറച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

Hold fast the form of sound words, which you have heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.എന്നോടു കേട്ട പത്ഥ്യവചനം നീ ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിലുള്ള വിശ്വാസത്തിലും സ്നേഹത്തിലും മാതൃകയാക്കിക്കൊൾക.

That good thing which was committed unto you keep by the Holy Spirit which dwells in us.ആ നല്ല ഉപനിധി നമ്മിൽ അധിവസിക്കുന്ന പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനാൽ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊൾക.

This you know, that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes.ആസ്യക്കാർ എല്ലാവരും എന്നെ വിട്ടുപൊയക്ക്ളഞ്ഞു എന്നു നീ അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ; ഫുഗലൊസും ഹെർമ്മെഗനേസും ആ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ ഉള്ളവർ ആകുന്നു.

The Lord give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus; for he often refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain:പലപ്പോഴും എന്നെ തണുപ്പിച്ചവനായ ഒനേസിഫൊരൊസിന്റെ കുടുംബത്തിന്നു കർത്താവു കരുണ നല്കുമാറാകട്ടെ.

But, when he was in Rome, he sought me out very diligently, and found me.അവൻ എന്റെ ചങ്ങലയെക്കുറിച്ചു ലജ്ജിക്കാതെ ഞാൻ റോമയിൽ എത്തിയ ഉടനെ താല്പര്യത്തോടെ എന്നെ തിരഞ്ഞു കണ്ടെത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു.

The Lord grant unto him that he may find mercy of the Lord in that day: and in how many things he ministered unto me at Ephesus, you know very well.ആ ദിവസത്തിൽ കർത്താവിന്റെ പക്കൽ കരുണ കണ്ടെത്തുവാൻ കർത്താവു അവന്നു സംഗതിവരുത്തട്ടെ. എഫെസൊസിൽവെച്ചു അവൻ എനിക്കു എന്തെല്ലാം ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്തു എന്നു നീ നല്ലവണ്ണം അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ.
