Psalms 55
1
Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not yourself from my supplication.ദൈവമേ, എന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥന ശ്രദ്ധിക്കേണമേ; എന്റെ യാചനെക്കു മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കരുതേ.

Attend unto me, and hear me: I mourn in my complaint, and make a noise;എനിക്കു ചെവിതന്നു ഉത്തരമരുളേണമേ; ശത്രുവിന്റെ ആരവംനിമിത്തവും ദുഷ്ടന്റെ പീഡനിമിത്തവും ഞാൻ എന്റെ സങ്കടത്തിൽ പൊറുതിയില്ലാതെ ഞരങ്ങുന്നു.

Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate me.അവർ എന്റെ മേൽ നീതികേടു ചുമത്തുന്നു; കോപത്തോടെ എന്നെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്നു.

My heart is sore pained within me: and the terrors of death are fallen upon me.എന്റെ ഹൃദയം എന്റെ ഉള്ളിൽ വേദനപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; മരണഭീതിയും എന്റെമേൽ വീണിരിക്കുന്നു.

Fearfulness and trembling are come upon me, and horror has overwhelmed me.ഭയവും വിറയലും എന്നെ പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; പരിഭ്രമം എന്നെ മൂടിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest.പ്രാവിന്നുള്ളതുപോലെ എനിക്കു ചിറകുണ്ടായിരുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ! എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ പറന്നുപോയി വിശ്രമിക്കുമായിരുന്നു എന്നു ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു.

Lo, then would I wander far off, and remain in the wilderness. Selah.അതേ, ഞാൻ ദൂരത്തു സഞ്ചരിച്ചു, മരുഭൂമിയിൽ പാർക്കുമായിരുന്നു! സേലാ.

I would hasten my escape from the windy storm and tempest.കൊടുങ്കാറ്റിൽനിന്നും പെരുങ്കാറ്റിൽനിന്നും ബദ്ധപ്പെട്ടു ഞാൻ ഒരു സങ്കേതത്തിലേക്കു ഓടിപ്പോകുമായിരുന്നു!

Destroy, O Lord, and divide their tongues: for I have seen violence and strife in the city.കർത്താവേ, സംഹരിച്ചു അവരുടെ നാവുകളെ ചീന്തിക്കളയേണമേ. ഞാൻ നഗരത്തിൽ അതിക്രമവും കലഹവും കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

Day and night they go about it upon the walls thereof: mischief also and sorrow are in the midst of it.രാവും പകലും അവർ അതിന്റെ മതിലുകളിന്മേൽ ചുറ്റി സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു; നീതികേടും കഷ്ടവും അതിന്റെ അകത്തുണ്ടു.

Wickedness is in the midst thereof: deceit and guile depart not from her streets.ദുഷ്ടത അതിന്റെ നടുവിൽ ഉണ്ടു; ചതിവും വഞ്ചനയും അതിന്റെ വീഥികളെ വിട്ടുമാറുന്നതുമില്ല.

For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him:എന്നെ നിന്ദിച്ചതു ഒരു ശത്രുവല്ല; അങ്ങനെയെങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ സഹിക്കുമായിരുന്നു; എന്റെ നേരെ വമ്പു പറഞ്ഞതു എന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവനല്ല; അങ്ങനെയെങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ മറഞ്ഞുകൊള്ളുമായിരുന്നു.

But it was you, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance.നീയോ എന്നോടു സമനായ മനുഷ്യനും എന്റെ സഖിയും എന്റെ പ്രാണസ്നേഹിതനുമായിരുന്നു.

We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company.നാം തമ്മിൽ മധുരസമ്പർക്കം ചെയ്തു പുരുഷാരവുമായി ദൈവാലയത്തിലേക്കു പോയല്ലോ.

Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them.മരണം പെട്ടെന്നു അവരെ പിടിക്കട്ടെ; അവർ ജീവനോടെ പാതാളത്തിലേക്കു ഇറങ്ങട്ടെ; ദുഷ്ടത അവരുടെ വാസസ്ഥലത്തും അവരുടെ ഉള്ളിലും ഉണ്ടു.

As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me.ഞാനോ ദൈവത്തെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കും; യഹോവ എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കും.
17
Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.ഞാൻ വൈകുന്നേരത്തും കാലത്തും ഉച്ചെക്കും സങ്കടം ബോധിപ്പിച്ചു കരയും; അവൻ എന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥന കേൾക്കും.

He has delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.എന്നോടു കയർത്തുനിന്നവർ അനേകരായിരിക്കെ ആരും എന്നോടു അടുക്കാതവണ്ണം അവൻ എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ വീണ്ടെടുത്തു സമാധാനത്തിലാക്കി;

God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abides of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.ദൈവം കേട്ടു അവർക്കു ഉത്തരം അരുളും; പുരാതനമേ സിംഹാസനസ്ഥനായവൻ തന്നേ. സേലാ. അവർക്കു മാനസാന്തരമില്ല; അവർ ദൈവത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നതുമില്ല.

He has put forth his hands against such as be at peace with him: he has broken his covenant.തന്നോടു സമാധാനമായിരിക്കുന്നവരെ കയ്യേറ്റം ചെയ്തു തന്റെ സഖ്യത അവൻ ലംഘിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords.അവന്റെ വായ് വെണ്ണപോലെ മൃദുവായതു; ഹൃദയത്തിലോ യുദ്ധമത്രേ. അവന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ എണ്ണയെക്കാൾ മയമുള്ളവ; എങ്കിലും അവ ഊരിയ വാളുകൾ ആയിരുന്നു.

Cast your burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain you: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.നിന്റെ ഭാരം യഹോവയുടെമേൽ വെച്ചുകൊൾക; അവൻ നിന്നെ പുലർത്തും; നീതിമാൻ കുലുങ്ങിപ്പോകുവാൻ അവൻ ഒരു നാളും സമ്മതിക്കയില്ല.

But you, O God, shall bring them down into the pit of destruction: bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but I will trust in you.ദൈവമേ, നീ അവരെ നാശത്തിന്റെ കുഴിയിലേക്കു ഇറക്കും; രക്തപ്രിയവും വഞ്ചനയും ഉള്ളവർ ആയുസ്സിന്റെ പകുതിയോളം ജീവിക്കയില്ല; ഞാനോ നിന്നിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കും.
