Ezekiel 1

Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.മുപ്പതാം ആണ്ടു നാലാം മാസം അഞ്ചാം തിയ്യതി ഞാൻ കെബാർനദീതീരത്തു പ്രവാസികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ സ്വർഗ്ഗം തുറന്നു ഞാൻ ദിവ്യദർശനങ്ങളെ കണ്ടു.

In the fifth day of the month, which was the fifth year of king Jehoiachin's captivity,യെഹോയാഖീൻ രാജാവിന്റെ പ്രവാസത്തിന്റെ അഞ്ചാം ആണ്ടിൽ മേല്പറഞ്ഞ മാസം അഞ്ചാം തിയ്യതി തന്നേ,

The word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him.കല്ദയദേശത്തു കെബാർനദീതീരത്തുവെച്ചു ബൂസിയുടെ മകൻ യെഹെസ്കേൽ പുരോഹിതന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു ഉണ്ടായി; അവിടെ യഹോവയുടെ കയ്യും അവന്റെമേൽ വന്നു.

And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire setting itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.ഞാൻ നോക്കിയപ്പോൾ വടക്കുനിന്നു ഒരു കൊടുങ്കാറ്റും വലിയോരു മേഘവും പാളിക്കത്തുന്ന തീയും വരുന്നതു കണ്ടു; അതിന്റെ ചുറ്റും ഒരു പ്രകാശവും അതിന്റെ നടുവിൽ നിന്നു, തീയുടെ നടുവിൽനിന്നു തന്നേ, ശുക്ളസ്വർണ്ണംപോലെ ഒരു കാഴ്ചയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.അതിന്റെ നടുവിൽ നാലു ജീവികളുടെ സാദൃശ്യം കണ്ടു; അവയുടെ രൂപമോ: അവെക്കു മനുഷ്യസാദൃശ്യം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.ഓരോന്നിന്നു നന്നാലു മുഖവും നന്നാലു ചിറകും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot: and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass.അവയുടെ കാൽ ചൊവ്വുള്ളതും കാലടി കാളക്കിടാവിന്റെ കുളമ്പുപോലെയും ആയിരുന്നു; മിനുക്കിയ താമ്രംപോലെ അവ മിന്നിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings.അവെക്കു നാലു ഭാഗത്തും ചിറകിന്റെ കീഴായി മനുഷ്യക്കൈ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; നാലിന്നും മുഖങ്ങളും ചിറകുകളും ഇങ്ങനെ ആയിരുന്നു.

Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward.അവയുടെ ചിറകുകൾ ഒന്നോടൊന്നു തൊട്ടിരുന്നു; പോകുമ്പോൾ അവ തിരിയാതെ ഓരോന്നും നേരെ മുമ്പോട്ടു പോകും.

As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.അവയുടെ മുഖരൂപമോ: അവെക്കു മനുഷ്യമുഖം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; നാലിന്നും വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു സിംഹമുഖവും ഇടത്തുഭാഗത്തു കാളമുഖവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; നാലിന്നും കഴുകുമുഖവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

Thus were their faces: and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.ഇങ്ങനെയായിരുന്നു അവയുടെ മുഖങ്ങൾ; അവയുടെ ചിറകുകൾ മേൽഭാഗം വിടർന്നിരുന്നു; ഈരണ്ടു ചിറകു തമ്മിൽ തൊട്ടും ഈരണ്ടു ചിറകുകൊണ്ടു ശരീരം മറെച്ചും ഇരുന്നു.

And they went every one straight forward: where the spirit was to go, they went; and they turned not when they went.അവ ഓരോന്നും നേരെ മുമ്പോട്ടു പോകും; പോകുമ്പോൾ അവ തിരിയാതെ ആത്മാവിന്നു പോകേണ്ടിയ ഇടത്തേക്കു തന്നേ പോകും.

As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.ജീവികളുടെ നടുവിൽ കത്തിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന തീക്കനൽപോലെയും പന്തങ്ങൾ പോലെയും ഒരു കാഴ്ച ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അതു ജീവികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ സഞ്ചരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; ആ തീ തേജസ്സുള്ളതായിരുന്നു. തീയിൽനിന്നു മിന്നൽ പുറപ്പെട്ടുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.ജീവികൾ മിന്നൽപോലെ അങ്ങോട്ടും ഇങ്ങോട്ടും ഓടിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces.ഞാൻ ജീവികളെ നോക്കിയപ്പോൾ നിലത്തു ജീവികളുടെ അരികെ നാലു മുഖത്തിന്നും നേരെ ഓരോ ചക്രം കണ്ടു.

The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.ചക്രങ്ങളുടെ കാഴ്ചയും പണിയും പുഷ്പരാഗത്തിന്റെ കാഴ്ചപോലെ ആയിരുന്നു; അവെക്കു നാലിന്നും ഒരു ഭാഷ തന്നേ ആയിരുന്നു; അവയുടെ കാഴ്ചയും പണിയും ചക്രത്തിൽകൂടി മറ്റൊരു ചക്രം ഉള്ളതുപോലെ ആയിരുന്നു.

When they went, they went upon their four sides: and they turned not when they went.അവെക്കു നാലുഭാഗത്തേക്കും പോകാം; തിരിവാൻ ആവശ്യമില്ല.

As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four.അവയുടെ വട്ടു പൊക്കമേറിയതും ഭയങ്കരവും ആയിരുന്നു; നാലിന്റെയും വട്ടുകൾക്കു ചുറ്റും അടുത്തടുത്തു കണ്ണുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.ജീവികൾ പോകുമ്പോൾ ചക്രങ്ങളും ചേരത്തന്നേ പോകും; ജീവകൾ ഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നു പൊങ്ങുമ്പോൾ ചക്രങ്ങളും പൊങ്ങും.

Anywhere the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up opposite to them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.ആത്മാവിന്നു പോകേണ്ടിയ ഇടത്തൊക്കെയും അവ പോകും; ജീവികളുടെ ആത്മാവു ചക്രങ്ങളിൽ ആയിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു ചക്രങ്ങൾ അവയോടുകൂടെ പൊങ്ങും.

When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up opposite to them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.ജീവികളുടെ ആത്മാവു ചക്രങ്ങളിൽ ആയിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു, അവ പോകുമ്പോൾ ഇവയും പോകും; അവ നില്ക്കുമ്പോൾ ഇവയും നില്ക്കും; അവ ഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നു പൊങ്ങുമ്പോൾ ചക്രങ്ങളും അവയോടുകൂടെ പൊങ്ങും.

And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.ജീവികളുടെ തലെക്കു മീതെ ഭയങ്കരമായോരു പളുങ്കുപോലെയുള്ള ഒരു വിതാനത്തിന്റെ രൂപം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അതു അവയുടെ തലെക്കു മീതെ വിരിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു.

And under the firmament were their wings straight, the one toward the other: every one had two, which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on that side, their bodies.വിതാനത്തിന്റെ കീഴെ അവയുടെ ചിറകുകൾ നേക്കുനേരെ വിടർന്നിരുന്നു; അതതിന്റെ ശരീരത്തെ ഈ ഭാഗവും ആ ഭാഗവും മൂടുവാൻ ഓരോന്നിന്നും ഈരണ്ടുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech, as the noise of an host: when they stood, they let down their wings.അവ പോകുമ്പോൾ ചിറകുകളുടെ ഇരെച്ചൽ വലിയ വെള്ളത്തിന്റെ ഇരെച്ചൽപോലെയും സർവ്വശക്തന്റെ നാദംപോലെയും ഒരു സൈന്യത്തിന്റെ ആരവം പോലെയും ഉള്ള മുഴക്കമായി ഞാൻ കേട്ടു; നില്ക്കുമ്പോൾ അവ ചിറകു താഴ്ത്തും.

And there was a voice from the firmament that was over their heads, when they stood, and had let down their wings.അവയുടെ തലെക്കു മീതെയുള്ള വിതാനത്തിന്മേൽ നിന്നു ഒരു നാദം പുറപ്പെട്ടു; നില്ക്കുമ്പോൾ അവ ചിറകു താഴ്ത്തും.

²⁶

And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.അവയുടെ തലെക്കു മീതെയുള്ള വിതാനത്തിന്നു മീതെ നീലക്കല്ലിന്റെ കാഴ്ചപോലെ സിംഹാസനത്തിന്റെ രൂപവും സിംഹാസനത്തിന്റെ രൂപത്തിന്മേൽ അതിന്നു മീതെ മനുഷ്യസാദൃശ്യത്തിൽ ഒരു രൂപവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about.അവന്റെ അരമുതൽ മേലോട്ടു അതിന്നകത്തു ചുറ്റും തീക്കൊത്ത ശുക്ളസ്വർണ്ണംപോലെ ഞാൻ കണ്ടു; അവന്റെ അരമുതൽ കീഴോട്ടു തീ പോലെ ഞാൻ കണ്ടു; അതിന്റെ ചുറ്റും പ്രകാശവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

²⁸

As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke.അതിന്റെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള പ്രകാശം മഴയുള്ള ദിവസത്തിൽ മേഘത്തിൽ കാണുന്ന വില്ലിന്റെ കാഴ്ചപോലെ ആയിരുന്നു. യഹോവയുടെ മഹത്വത്തിന്റെ പ്രത്യക്ഷത ഇങ്ങനെ ആയിരുന്നു കണ്ടതു; അതു കണ്ടിട്ടു ഞാൻ കവിണ്ണുവീണു; സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ഒരുത്തന്റെ ശബ്ദവും ഞാൻ കേട്ടു.

Ezekiel 2

And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon your feet, and I will speak unto you.അവൻ എന്നോടു: മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നിവിർന്നുനിൽക്ക; ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കും എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

And the spirit entered into me when he spoke unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spoke unto me.അവൻ എന്നോടു സംസാരിച്ചപ്പോൾ ആത്മാവു എന്നിൽ വന്നു എന്നെ നിവിർന്നുനില്ക്കുമാറാക്കി; അവൻ എന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്നതു ഞാൻ കേട്ടു.

And he said unto me, Son of man, I send you to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day.അവൻ എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു: മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, എന്നോടു മത്സരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന മത്സരികളായ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ അടുക്കൽ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അയക്കുന്നു; അവരും അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരും ഇന്നുവരെ എന്നോടു അതിക്രമം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

For they are shameless children and stiff hearted. I do send you unto them; and you shall say unto them, Thus says the Lord GOD.മക്കളോ ധാർഷ്ട്യവും ദുശ്ശാഠ്യവും ഉള്ളവരത്രെ; അവരുടെ അടുക്കലാകുന്നു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അയക്കുന്നതു; യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു നീ അവരോടു പറയേണം.

And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there has been a prophet among them.കേട്ടാലും കേൾക്കാഞ്ഞാലും--അവർ മത്സരഗൃഹമല്ലോ--തങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഒരു പ്രവാചകൻ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു എന്നു അവർ അറിയേണം.

And you, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with you, and you do dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.നീയോ, മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, അവരെ പേടിക്കരുതു; പറക്കാരയും മുള്ളും നിന്റെ അരികെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നാലും തേളുകളുടെ ഇടയിൽ നീ പാർത്താലും അവരുടെ വാക്കു പേടിക്കരുതു; അവർ മത്സരഗൃഹമല്ലോ; നീ അവരുടെ വാക്കു പേടിക്കരുതു; അവരുടെ നോട്ടം കണ്ടു ഭ്രമിക്കയുമരുതു.

And you shall speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.അവർ കേട്ടാലും കേൾക്കാഞ്ഞാലും നീ എന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെ അവരോടു പ്രസ്താവിക്കേണം; അവർ മഹാമത്സരികൾ അല്ലോ.

But you, son of man, hear what I say unto you; Be not you rebellious like that rebellious house: open your mouth, and eat that I give you.നീയോ, മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്നതു കേൾക്ക; നീ ആ മത്സരഗൃഹംപോലെ മത്സരക്കാരനായിരിക്കരുതു; ഞാൻ നിനക്കു തരുന്നതു നീ വായ്തുറന്നു തിന്നുക.

And when I looked, behold, an hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein;ഞാൻ നോക്കിയപ്പോൾ: ഒരു കൈ എങ്കലേക്കു നീട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നതും അതിൽ ഒരു പുസ്തകച്ചുരുൾ ഇരിക്കുന്നതും കണ്ടു.

And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.അവൻ അതിനെ എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ വിടർത്തി: അതിൽ അകത്തും പുറത്തും എഴുത്തുണ്ടായിരുന്നു; വിലാപങ്ങളും സങ്കടവും കഷ്ടവും അതിൽ എഴുതിയിരുന്നു.

Ezekiel 3

Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that you find; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.അവൻ എന്നോടു: മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ കാണുന്നതു തിന്നുക: ഈ ചുരുൾ തിന്നിട്ടു ചെന്നു യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തോടു സംസാരിക്ക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll.ഞാൻ വായ്തുറന്നു, അവൻ ആ ചുരുൾ എനിക്കു തിന്മാൻ തന്നു എന്നോടു:

And he said unto me, Son of man, cause your belly to eat, and fill your bowels with this roll that I give you. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഞാൻ നിനക്കു തരുന്ന ഈ ചുരുൾ നീ വയറ്റിൽ ആക്കി ഉദരം നിറെക്ക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു; അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ അതു തിന്നു; അതു വായിൽ തേൻ പോലെ മധുരമായിരുന്നു.

And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get you unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.പിന്നെ അവൻ എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതു: മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു എന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെ അവരോടു പ്രസ്താവിക്ക.

For you are not sent to a people of a strange speech and of an hard language, but to the house of Israel;അവ്യക്തവാക്കും കനത്ത നാവും ഉള്ള ജാതിയുടെ അടുക്കൽ അല്ല, യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കലത്രേ നിന്നെ അയക്കുന്നതു;

Not to many people of a strange speech and of an hard language, whose words you can not understand. Surely, had I sent you to them, they would have hearkened unto you.അവ്യക്തവാക്കും കനത്ത നാവും ഉള്ളവരായി, നിനക്കു വാക്കു ഗ്രഹിച്ചുകൂടാത്ത അനേകം ജാതികളുടെ അടുക്കലല്ല; അവരുടെ അടുക്കൽ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അയച്ചെങ്കിൽ അവർ നിന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കുമായിരുന്നു.

But the house of Israel will not hearken unto you; for they will not hearken unto me: for all the house of Israel are shameless and hardhearted.യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹമോ നിന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കയില്ല; എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾപ്പാൻ അവർക്കു മനസ്സില്ലല്ലോ; യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹമൊക്കെയും കടുത്ത നെറ്റിയും കഠിനഹൃദയവും ഉള്ളവരത്രെ.

Behold, I have made your face strong against their faces, and your forehead strong against their foreheads.എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ മുഖം അവരുടെ മുഖത്തിന്നു നേരെ കഠിനവും നിന്റെ നെറ്റി അവരുടെ നെറ്റിക്കു നേരെ കടുപ്പവും ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

As an adamant harder than flint have I made your forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.ഞാൻ നിന്റെ നെറ്റി തീക്കല്ലിനെക്കാൾ കടുപ്പമുള്ള വജ്രംപോലെ ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർ മത്സരഗൃഹമെങ്കിലും നീ അവരെ പേടിക്കരുതു; അവരുടെ നോട്ടം കണ്ടു ഭ്രമിക്കയുമരുതു.

Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto you receive in yours heart, and hear with yours ears.അവൻ പിന്നെയും എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതു: മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്ന വചനങ്ങളൊക്കെയും ചെവികൊണ്ടു കേട്ടു ഹൃദയത്തിൽ കൈക്കൊൾക.

And go, get you to them of the captivity, unto the children of your people, and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus says the Lord GOD; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear.നീ നിന്റെ ജനത്തിൻ പുത്രന്മാരായ പ്രവാസികളുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു, അവർ കേട്ടാലും കേൾക്കാഞ്ഞാലും അവരോടു സംസാരിച്ചു: യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു പറക.

Then the spirit took me up, and I heard behind me a voice of a great rushing, saying, Blessed be the glory of the LORD from his place.അപ്പോൾ ആത്മാവു എന്നെ എടുത്തു: യഹോവയുടെ മഹത്വം സ്വസ്ഥലത്തുനിന്നു അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ എന്നു ഞാൻ വലിയ മുഴക്കത്തോടെ ഒരു ശബ്ദം എന്റെ പിറകിൽ കേട്ടു.

I heard also the noise of the wings of the living creatures that touched one another, and the noise of the wheels opposite to them, and a noise of a great rushing.ജീവികളുടെ ചിറകു തമ്മിൽ തട്ടുന്ന ഒച്ചയും അവയുടെ അരികെയുള്ള ചക്രങ്ങളുടെ ഇരെച്ചലും വലിയ മുഴക്കമുള്ളോരു ശബ്ദവും ഞാൻ കേട്ടു.

So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the LORD was strong upon me.ആത്മാവു എന്നെ എടുത്തുകൊണ്ടുപോയി; ഞാൻ വ്യസനത്തോടും മനസ്സിന്റെ ഉഷ്ണത്തോടും കൂടെ പോയി, യഹോവയുടെ കൈ ശക്തിയോടെ എന്റെ മേൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

Then I came to them of the captivity at Telabib, that dwelt by the river of Chebar, and I sat where they sat, and remained there astonished among them seven days.അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ കെബാർനദീതീരത്തു പാർത്ത തേൽ-ആബീബിലെ പ്രവാസികളുടെ അടുക്കൽ, അവർ പാർത്തെടത്തു തന്നേ എത്തി, അവരുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ ഏഴു ദിവസം സ്തംഭിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു പാർത്തു.

And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,ഏഴു ദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതു എന്തെന്നാൽ:

Son of man, I have made you a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഞാൻ നിന്നെ യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിന്നു കാവൽക്കാരനാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ എന്റെ വായിൽനിന്നു വചനം കേട്ടു എന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ അവരെ പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കേണം.

When I say unto the wicked, You shall surely die; and you give him not warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at yours hand.ഞാൻ ദുഷ്ടനോടു: നീ മരിക്കും എന്നു കല്പിക്കുമ്പോൾ നീ അവനെ ഓർപ്പിക്കയോ ദുഷ്ടനെ ജീവനോടെ രക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻ തന്റെ ദുർമ്മാർഗ്ഗം വിടുവാൻ അവനെ ഓർപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടും ഒന്നും പറകയോ ചെയ്യാഞ്ഞാൽ, ദുഷ്ടൻ തന്റെ അകൃത്യത്തിൽ മരിക്കും; അവന്റെ രക്തമോ ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു ചോദിക്കും.

Yet if you warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.എന്നാൽ നീ ദുഷ്ടനെ ഓർപ്പിച്ചിട്ടും അവൻ തന്റെ ദുഷ്ടതയും ദുർമ്മാർഗ്ഗവും വിട്ടുതിരിയുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ അവൻ തന്റെ അകൃത്യത്തിൽ മരിക്കും; നീയോ നിന്റെ പ്രാണനെ രക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

Again, When a righteous man does turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling-block before him, he shall die: because you have not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at yours hand.അഥവാ, നീതിമാൻ തന്റെ നീതി വിട്ടുമാറി നീതികേടു പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിട്ടു ഞാൻ അവന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ ഇടർച്ച വെക്കുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ അവൻ മരിക്കും; നീ അവനെ ഓർപ്പിക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടു അവൻ തന്റെ പാപത്തിൽ മരിക്കും; അവൻ ചെയ്ത നീതി അവന്നു കണക്കിടുകയുമില്ല; അവന്റെ രക്തമോ ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു ചോദിക്കും.

Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he does not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also you have delivered your soul.എന്നാൽ നീതിമാൻ പാപം ചെയ്യാതെയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ നീതിമാനെ ഓർപ്പിച്ചിട്ടു അവൻ പാപം ചെയ്യാതെ ഇരുന്നാൽ, അവൻ പ്രബോധനം കൈക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കയാൽ അവൻ ജീവിക്കും; നീയും നിന്റെ പ്രാണനെ രക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

And the hand of the LORD was there upon me; and he said unto me, Arise, go forth into the plain, and I will there talk with you.യഹോവയുടെ കൈ അവിടെ പിന്നെയും എന്റെമേൽ വന്നു; അവൻ എന്നോടു: നീ എഴുന്നേറ്റു സമഭൂമിയിലേക്കു പോക; അവിടെവെച്ചു ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കും എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

Then I arose, and went forth into the plain: and, behold, the glory of the LORD stood there, as the glory which I saw by the river of Chebar: and I fell on my face.അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ എഴുന്നേറ്റു സമഭൂമിയിലേക്കു പോയി; ഞാൻ കെബാർ നദീതീരത്തു കണ്ട മഹത്വംപോലെ അവിടെ യഹോവയുടെ മഹത്വം നില്ക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു ഞാൻ കവിണ്ണുവീണു.

Then the spirit entered into me, and set me upon my feet, and spoke with me, and said unto me, Go, shut yourself within yours house.അപ്പോൾ ആത്മാവു എന്നിൽ വന്നു എന്നെ നിവർന്നുനില്ക്കുമാറാക്കി, എന്നോടു സംസാരിച്ചു: നീ ചെന്നു നിന്റെ വീട്ടിന്നകത്തു കതകടെച്ചു പാർക്ക.

²⁵

But you, O son of man, behold, they shall put bands upon you, and shall bind you with them, and you shall not go out among them:എന്നാൽ മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നിനക്കു അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ പെരുമാറുവാൻ കഴിയാതവണ്ണം അവർ നിന്നെ കയറുകൊണ്ടു കെട്ടും.

And I will make your tongue cleave to the roof of your mouth, that you shall be dumb, and shall not be to them a reprover: for they are a rebellious house.നീ ഊമനായി അവർക്കു ശാസകനാകാതെയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ നിന്റെ നാവിനെ നിന്റെ അണ്ണാക്കോടു പറ്റുമാറാക്കും; അവർ മത്സരഗൃഹമല്ലോ.

But when I speak with you, I will open your mouth, and you shall say unto them, Thus says the Lord GOD; He that hears, let him hear; and he that forbears, let him forbear: for they are a rebellious house.ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ വായി തുറക്കും; നീ അവരോടു: യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു പറയേണം; കേൾക്കുന്നവൻ കേൾക്കട്ടെ; കേൾക്കാത്തവൻ കേൾക്കാതെ ഇരിക്കട്ടെ; അവർ മത്സരഗൃഹമല്ലോ.
