After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.അതിന്റെ ശേഷം യേശു ഗലീലയിൽ സഞ്ചരിച്ചു; യെഹൂദന്മാർ അവനെ കൊല്ലുവാൻ അന്വേഷിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു യെഹൂദ്യയിൽ സഞ്ചരിപ്പാൻ അവന്നു മനസ്സില്ലായിരുന്നു.

Now the Jew's feast of tabernacles was at hand.എന്നാൽ യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ കൂടാരപ്പെരുനാൾ അടുത്തിരുന്നു.

His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart behind, and go into Judaea, that your disciples also may see the works that you do.അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാർ അവനോടു: നീ ചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രവൃത്തികളെ നിന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരും കാണേണ്ടതിന്നു ഇവിടം വിട്ടു യെഹൂദ്യയിലേക്കു പോക.

For there is no man that does any thing in secret, and he himself seeks to be known openly. If you do these things, show yourself to the world.പ്രസിദ്ധൻ ആകുവാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവൻ ആരും രഹസ്യത്തിൽ ഒന്നും ചെയ്യുന്നില്ലല്ലോ; നീ ഇതു ചെയ്യുന്നു എങ്കിൽ ലോകത്തിന്നു നിന്നെത്തന്നേ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

For neither did his brethren believe in him.അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരും അവനിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചില്ല.

Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is always ready.യേശു അവരോടു: “എന്റെ സമയം ഇതുവരെ വന്നിട്ടില്ല; നിങ്ങൾക്കോ എല്ലയ്പോഴും സമയം തന്നേ.

The world cannot hate you; but me it hates, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.നിങ്ങളെ പകെപ്പാൻ ലോകത്തിന്നു കഴിയുന്നതല്ല; എന്നാൽ അതിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ ദോഷമുള്ളവ എന്നു ഞാൻ അതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അതു എന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നു.

Go all of you up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast: for my time is not yet full come.നിങ്ങൾ പെരുനാളിന്നു പോകുവിൻ; എന്റെ സമയം ഇതുവരെ വന്നിട്ടില്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ ഈ പെരുനാളിന്നു ഇപ്പോൾ പോകുന്നില്ല.

When he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Galilee.ഇങ്ങനെ അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞിട്ടു ഗലീലയിൽ തന്നേ പാർത്തു.

But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാർ പെരുനാളിന്നു പോയശേഷം അവനും പരസ്യമായിട്ടല്ല രഹസ്യത്തിൽ എന്നപോലെ പോയി.

Then the Jews sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he?എന്നാൽ യെഹൂദന്മാർ പെരുനാളിൽ: അവൻ എവിടെ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു അവനെ അന്വേഷിച്ചു.

And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceives the people.പുരുഷാരത്തിൽ അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു വളരെ കുശുകുശുപ്പു ഉണ്ടായി; അവൻ നല്ലവൻ എന്നു ചിലരും അല്ല, അവൻ പുരുഷാരത്തെ വഞ്ചിക്കുന്നു എന്നു മറ്റു ചിലരും പറഞ്ഞു.

Nevertheless no man spoke openly of him for fear of the Jews.എങ്കിലും യെഹൂദന്മാരെ പേടിച്ചിട്ടു ആരും പ്രസിദ്ധമായി അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു സംസാരിച്ചില്ല.

Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.പെരുനാൾ പാതി കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം യേശു ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ ചെന്നു ഉപദേശിച്ചു.

And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knows this man letters, having never learned?വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം ചെയ്യാത്ത ഇവൻ ശാസ്ത്രം അറിയുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നു യെഹൂദന്മാർ പറഞ്ഞു ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെട്ടു.

Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.യേശു അവരോടു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതു: “എന്റെ ഉപദേശം എന്റേതല്ല, എന്നെ അയച്ചവന്റേതത്രേ.

If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.അവന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം ചെയ്‍വാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നവൻ ഈ ഉപദേശം ദൈവത്തിൽ നിന്നുള്ളതോ ഞാൻ സ്വയമായി പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നതോ എന്നു അറിയും.

He that speaks of himself seeks his own glory: but he that seeks his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.സ്വയമായി പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നവൻ സ്വന്തമഹത്വം അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നു; തന്നെ അയച്ചവന്റെ മഹത്വം അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവൻ സത്യവാൻ ആകുന്നു; നീതികേടു അവനിൽ ഇല്ല.

Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keeps the law? Why go all of you about to kill me?മോശെ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ന്യായപ്രമാണം തന്നിട്ടില്ലയോ? എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങളിൽ ആരും ന്യായപ്രമാണം ആചരിക്കുന്നില്ല. നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ കൊല്ലുവാൻ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു?

The people answered and said, You have a devil: who goes about to kill you?അതിന്നു പുരുഷാരം: നിനക്കു ഒരു ഭൂതം ഉണ്ടു; ആർ നിന്നെ കൊല്ലുവാൻ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

Jesus answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and all of you all marvel.യേശു അവരോടു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതു: “ഞാൻ ഒരു പ്രവൃത്തി ചെയ്തു; അതിങ്കൽ നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെടുന്നു.

Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and all of you on the sabbath day circumcise a man.മോശെ നിങ്ങൾക്കു പരിച്ഛേദന നിയമിച്ചിരിക്കയാൽ--അതു മോശെയുടെ കാലത്തല്ല പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ കാലത്തത്രെ തുടങ്ങിയതു--നിങ്ങൾ ശബ്ബത്തിൽ മനുഷ്യനെ പരിച്ഛേദന കഴിക്കുന്നു.

If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are all of you angry at me, because I have made a man everything whole on the sabbath day?മോശെയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്നു നീക്കം വരാതിരിപ്പാൻ ശബ്ബത്തിലും മനുഷ്യൻ പരിച്ഛേദന ഏല്ക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ ശബ്ബത്തിൽ ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെ മുഴുവനും സൌഖ്യമാക്കിയതിനാൽ എന്നോടു ഈർഷ്യപ്പെടുന്നുവോ?

Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.കാഴ്ചപ്രകാരം വിധിക്കരുതു; നീതിയുള്ള വിധി വിധിപ്പിൻ.

Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill?യെരൂശലേമ്യരിൽ ചിലർ: അവർ കൊല്ലുവാൻ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവൻ ഇവൻ അല്ലയോ?

²⁶

But, lo, he speaks boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ?അവൻ ധൈര്യത്തോടെ സംസാരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ; അവർ അവനോടു ഒന്നും പറയുന്നില്ല; ഇവൻ ക്രിസ്തു ആകുന്നു എന്നു പ്രമാണികൾ യഥാർത്ഥമായി ഗ്രഹിച്ചുവോ?

Nevertheless we know this man whence he is: but when Christ comes, no man knows whence he is.എങ്കിലും ഇവൻ എവിടെനിന്നു എന്നു നാം അറിയുന്നു; ക്രിസ്തു വരുമ്പോഴോ അവൻ എവിടെനിന്നു എന്നു ആരും അറികയില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, All of you both know me, and all of you know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom all of you know not.ആകയാൽ യേശു ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ ഉപദേശിക്കുമ്പോൾ: “നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ അറിയുന്നു; ഞാൻ എവിടെനിന്നെന്നും അറിയുന്നു. ഞാൻ സ്വയമായിട്ടു വന്നവനല്ല, എന്നെ അയച്ചവൻ സത്യവാൻ ആകുന്നു; അവനെ നിങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നില്ല.

But I know him: for I am from him, and he has sent me.ഞാൻ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ നിന്നു വന്നതുകൊണ്ടും അവൻ എന്നെ അയച്ചതുകൊണ്ടും ഞാൻ അവനെ അറിയുന്നു” എന്നു വിളിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞു.

Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come.ആകയാൽ അവർ അവനെ പിടിപ്പാൻ അന്വേഷിച്ചു എങ്കിലും അവന്റെ നാഴിക വന്നിട്ടില്ലായ്കയാൽ ആരും അവന്റെ മേൽ കൈ വെച്ചില്ല.

And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Christ comes, will he do more miracles than these which this man has done?പുരുഷാരത്തിൽ പലരും: ക്രിസ്തു വരുമ്പോൾ ഇവൻ ചെയ്തതിൽ അധികം അടയാളം ചെയ്യുമോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവനിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചു.

The Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things concerning him; and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take him.പുരുഷാരം അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഇങ്ങനെ കുശുകുശുക്കുന്നു എന്നു പരീശന്മാർ കേട്ടാറെ അവനെ പിടിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരും പരീശന്മാരും ചേവകരെ അയച്ചു.

Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.യേശുവോ: “ഞാൻ ഇനി കുറെനേരം നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; പിന്നെ എന്നെ അയച്ചവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പോകുന്നു.

All of you shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither all of you cannot come.നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കും കണ്ടെത്തുകയില്ലതാനും; ഞാൻ ഇരിക്കുന്നേടത്തു നിങ്ങൾക്കു വരുവാൻ കഴികയുമില്ല ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

Then said the Jews among themselves, Where will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles?അതു കേട്ടിട്ടു യെഹൂദന്മാർ: നാം കണ്ടെത്താതവണ്ണം ഇവൻ എവിടേക്കു പോകുവാൻ ഭാവിക്കുന്നു? യവനന്മാരുടെ ഇടയിൽ ചിതറിപ്പാർക്കുന്നവരുടെ അടുക്കൽ പോയി യവനരെ ഉപദേശിപ്പാൻ ഭാവമോ?

³⁶

What manner of saying is this that he said, All of you shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither all of you cannot come?നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കും, എന്നെ കണ്ടെത്തുകയില്ലതാനും; ഞാൻ ഇരിക്കുന്നേടത്തു നിങ്ങൾക്കു വരുവാൻ കഴികയുമില്ല എന്നു ഈ പറഞ്ഞ വാക്കു എന്തു എന്നു തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ പറഞ്ഞു.

In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.ഉത്സവത്തിന്റെ മഹാദിനമായ ഒടുക്കത്തെ നാളിൽ യേശുനിന്നുകൊണ്ടു: “ദാഹിക്കുന്നവൻ എല്ലാം എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു കുടിക്കട്ടെ.

He that believes on me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.എന്നിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവന്റെ ഉള്ളിൽ നിന്നു തിരുവെഴുത്തു പറയുന്നതുപോലെ ജീവജലത്തിന്റെ നദികൾ ഒഴുകും” എന്നു വിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.

(But this spoke he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Spirit was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)അവൻ ഇതു തന്നിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവർക്കു ലഭിപ്പാനുള്ള ആത്മാവിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ആകുന്നു പറഞ്ഞതു; യേശു അന്നു തേജസ്കരിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടില്ലായ്കയാൽ ആത്മാവു വന്നിട്ടില്ലായിരുന്നു.

Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Truthfully this is the Prophet.പുരുഷാരത്തിൽ പലരും ആ വാക്കു കേട്ടിട്ടു: ഇവൻ സാക്ഷാൽ ആ പ്രവാചകൻ ആകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee?വേറെ ചിലർ: ഇവൻ ക്രിസ്തു തന്നേ എന്നും മറ്റു ചിലർ: ഗലീലയിൽ നിന്നോ ക്രിസ്തു വരുന്നതു?

Has not the scripture said, That Christ comes of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?ദാവീദിന്റെ സന്തതിയിൽ നിന്നും ദാവീദ് പാർത്ത ഗ്രാമമായ ബേത്ത്ളേഹെമിൽനിന്നും ക്രിസ്തു വരുന്നു എന്നു തിരുവെഴുത്തു പറയുന്നില്ലയോ എന്നും പറഞ്ഞു.

So there was a division among the people because of him.അങ്ങനെ പുരുഷാരത്തിൽ അവനെച്ചൊല്ലി ഭിന്നത ഉണ്ടായി.

And some of them would have taken him; but no man laid hands on him.അവരിൽ ചിലർ അവനെ പിടിപ്പാൻ ഭാവിച്ചു എങ്കിലും ആരും അവന്റെ മേൽ കൈവെച്ചില്ല.

Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why have all of you not brought him?ചേവകർ മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെയും പരീശന്മാരുടെയും അടുക്കൽ മടങ്ങിവന്നപ്പോൾ അവർ അവരോടു: നിങ്ങൾ അവനെ കൊണ്ടുവരാഞ്ഞതു എന്തു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു:

The officers answered, Never man spoke like this man.ഈ മനുഷ്യൻ സംസാരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ആരും ഒരുനാളും സംസാരിച്ചിട്ടില്ല എന്നു ചേവകർ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

Then answered them the Pharisees, Are all of you also deceived?പരീശന്മാർ അവരോടു: നിങ്ങളും തെറ്റിപ്പോയോ?

⁴⁸

Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed on him?പ്രമാണികളിൽ ആകട്ടെ പരീശന്മാരിൽ ആകട്ടെ ആരെങ്കിലും അവനിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ?

⁴⁹

But this people who knows not the law are cursed.ന്യായപ്രമാണം അറിയാത്ത പുരുഷാരമോ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരാകുന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

Nicodemus says unto them, (he that came to Jesus by night, being one of them,)അവരിൽ ഒരുത്തനായി, മുമ്പെ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നിരുന്ന നിക്കൊദേമൊസ് അവരോടു:

Does our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he does?ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്റെ വാമൊഴി ആദ്യം കേട്ടു, അവൻ ചെയ്യുന്നതു ഇന്നതു എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടല്ലാതെ നമ്മുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം അവനെ വിധിക്കുന്നുവോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

They answered and said unto him, Are you also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee arises no prophet.അവർ അവനോടു: നീയും ഗലീലക്കാരനോ? പരിശോധിച്ചുനോക്കുക; ഗലീലയിൽ നിന്നു പ്രവാചകൻ എഴുന്നേല്ക്കുന്നില്ലല്ലോ എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

And every man went unto his own house.അങ്ങനെ ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ പോയി.

Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.യേശുവോ ഒലീവ് മലയിലേക്കു പോയി.

And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.അതികാലത്തു അവൻ പിന്നെയും ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ ചെന്നു; ജനം ഒക്കെയും അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു; അവൻ ഇരുന്നു അവരെ ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ

And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,ശാസ്ത്രിമാരും പരീശന്മാരും വ്യഭിചാരത്തിൽ പിടിച്ചിരുന്ന ഒരു സ്ത്രീയെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു നടുവിൽ നിറുത്തി അവനോടു:

They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.ഗുരോ, ഈ സ്ത്രീയെ വ്യഭിചാരകർമ്മത്തിൽ തന്നേ പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what says you?ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ളവരെ കല്ലെറിയേണം എന്നു മോശെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽ ഞങ്ങളോടു കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ ഇവളെക്കുറിച്ചു എന്തു പറയുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.ഇതു അവനെ കുറ്റം ചുമത്തുവാൻ സംഗതി കിട്ടേണ്ടതിന്നു അവനെ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു ചോദിച്ചതായിരുന്നു. യേശുവോ കുനിഞ്ഞു വിരൽകൊണ്ടു നിലത്തു എഴുതിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.അവർ അവനോടു ചോദിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവൻ നിവിർന്നു: “നിങ്ങളിൽ പാപമില്ലാത്തവൻ അവളെ ഒന്നാമതു കല്ലു എറിയട്ടെ” എന്നു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.പിന്നെയും കുനിഞ്ഞു വിരൽകൊണ്ടു നിലത്തു എഴുതിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.അവർ അതു കേട്ടിട്ടു മനസ്സാക്ഷിയുടെ ആക്ഷേപം ഹേതുവായി മൂത്തവരും ഇളയവരും ഓരോരുത്തനായി വിട്ടുപോയി; യേശു മാത്രവും നടുവിൽ നില്ക്കുന്ന സ്ത്രീയും ശേഷിച്ചു.

When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those yours accusers? has no man condemned you?യേശു നിവിർന്നു അവളോടു: “സ്ത്രീയേ, അവർ എവിടെ? നിനക്കു ആരും ശിക്ഷ വിധിച്ചില്ലയോ ” എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു:

She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn you: go, and sin no more.ഇല്ല കർത്താവേ, എന്നു അവൾ പറഞ്ഞു. “ഞാനും നിനക്കു ശിക്ഷ വിധിക്കുന്നില്ല: പോക, ഇനി പാപം ചെയ്യരുതു” എന്നു യേശു പറഞ്ഞു.

Then spoke Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.യേശു പിന്നെയും അവരോടു സംസാരിച്ചു: “ഞാൻ ലോകത്തിന്റെ വെളിച്ചം ആകുന്നു; എന്നെ അനുഗമിക്കുന്നവൻ ഇരുളിൽ നടക്കാതെ ജീവന്റെ വെളിച്ചമുള്ളവൻ ആകും” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

The Pharisees therefore said unto him, You bear record of yourself; your record is not true.പരീശന്മാർ അവനോടു: നീ നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു തന്നേ സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നു; നിന്റെ സാക്ഷ്യം സത്യമല്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and where I go; but all of you cannot tell whence I come, and where I go.യേശു അവരോടു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതു: “ഞാൻ എന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു തന്നേ സാക്ഷ്യം പറഞ്ഞാലും എന്റെ സാക്ഷ്യം സത്യം ആകുന്നു; ഞാൻ എവിടെ നിന്നു വന്നു എന്നും എവിടേക്കു പോകുന്നു എന്നും ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു; നിങ്ങളോ, ഞാൻ എവിടെ നിന്നു വന്നു എന്നും എവിടേക്കു പോകുന്നു എന്നും അറിയുന്നില്ല.

All of you judge after the flesh; I judge no man.നിങ്ങൾ ജഡപ്രകാരം വിധിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ ആരെയും വിധിക്കുന്നില്ല.

And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.ഞാൻ വിധിച്ചാലും ഞാൻ ഏകനല്ല, ഞാനും എന്നെ അയച്ച പിതാവും കൂടെയാകയാൽ എന്റെ വിധി സത്യമാകുന്നു.

It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.രണ്ടു മനുഷ്യരുടെ സാക്ഷ്യം സത്യം എന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിലും എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me bears witness of me.ഞാൻ എന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു തന്നേ സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നു; എന്നെ അയച്ച പിതാവും എന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നു.

Then said they unto him, Where is your Father? Jesus answered, All of you neither know me, nor my Father: if all of you had known me, all of you should have known my Father also.അവർ അവനോടു: നിന്റെ പിതാവു എവിടെ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു യേശു: “നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ ആകട്ടെ എന്റെ പിതാവിനെ ആകട്ടെ അറിയുന്നില്ല; എന്നെ അറിഞ്ഞു എങ്കിൽ എന്റെ പിതാവിനെയും അറിയുമായിരുന്നു” എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

These words spoke Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.അവൻ ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ ഉപദേശിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഭണ്ഡാരസ്ഥലത്തുവെച്ചു ഈ വചനം പറഞ്ഞു; അവന്റെ നാഴിക അതുവരെയും വന്നിട്ടില്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു ആരും അവനെ പിടിച്ചില്ല.

Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and all of you shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: where I go, all of you cannot come.അവൻ പിന്നെയും അവരോടു: “ഞാൻ പോകുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കും; നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപത്തിൽ നിങ്ങൾ മരിക്കും; ഞാൻ പോകുന്ന ഇടത്തേക്കു നിങ്ങൾക്കു വരുവാൻ കഴികയില്ല ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he says, Where I go, all of you cannot come.ഞാൻ പോകുന്ന ഇടത്തേക്കു നിങ്ങൾക്കു വരുവാൻ കഴികയില്ല എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞതുകൊണ്ടു പക്ഷേ തന്നെത്താൻ കൊല്ലുമോ എന്നു യെഹൂദന്മാർ പറഞ്ഞു.

And he said unto them, All of you are from beneath; I am from above: all of you are of this world; I am not of this world.അവൻ അവരോടു: “നിങ്ങൾ കീഴിൽനിന്നുള്ളവർ, ഞാൻ മേലിൽ നിന്നുള്ളവൻ; നിങ്ങൾ ഈ ലോകത്തിൽ നിന്നുള്ളവർ, ഞാൻ ഈ ലോകത്തിൽ നിന്നുള്ളവനല്ല.

I said therefore unto you, that all of you shall die in your sins: for if all of you believe not that I am he, all of you shall die in your sins.ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങളിൽ നിങ്ങൾ മരിക്കും എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞു; ഞാൻ അങ്ങനെയുള്ളവൻ എന്നു വിശ്വസിക്കാഞ്ഞാൽ നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങളിൽ മരിക്കും” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

Then said they unto him, Who are you? And Jesus says unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning.അവർ അവനോടു: നീ ആർ ആകുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു യേശു: “ആദിമുതൽ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിച്ചുപോരുന്നതു തന്നേ.

I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു വളരെ സംസാരിപ്പാനും വിധിപ്പാനും എനിക്കു ഉണ്ടു; എങ്കിലും എന്നെ അയച്ചവൻ സത്യവാൻ ആകുന്നു; അവനോടു കേട്ടതു തന്നേ ഞാൻ ലോകത്തോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

They understood not that he spoke to them of the Father.പിതാവിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ആകുന്നു അവൻ തങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞതു എന്നു അവർ ഗ്രഹിച്ചില്ല.

Then said Jesus unto them, When all of you have lifted up the Son of man, then shall all of you know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father has taught me, I speak these things.ആകയാൽ യേശു: “നിങ്ങൾ മനുഷ്യപുത്രനെ ഉയർത്തിയശേഷം ഞാൻ തന്നേ അവൻ എന്നും ഞാൻ സ്വയമായിട്ടു ഒന്നും ചെയ്യാതെ പിതാവു എനിക്കു ഉപദേശിച്ചുതന്നതു പോലെ ഇതു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു എന്നും അറിയും.

And he that sent me is with me: the Father has not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.എന്നെ അയച്ചവൻ എന്നോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടു; ഞാൻ എല്ലായ്പോഴും അവന്നു പ്രസാദമുള്ളതു ചെയ്യുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അവൻ എന്നെ ഏകനായി വിട്ടിട്ടില്ല ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

As he spoke these words, many believed on him.അവൻ ഇങ്ങനെ സംസാരിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ പലരും അവനിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചു.

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If all of you continue in my word, then are all of you my disciples indeed;തന്നിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ച യെഹൂദന്മാരോടു യേശു: “എന്റെ വചനത്തിൽ നിലനില്ക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങൾ വാസ്തവമായി എന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരായി,

And all of you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.സത്യം അറികയും സത്യം നിങ്ങളെ സ്വതന്ത്രന്മാരാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how says you, All of you shall be made free?അവർ അവനോടു: ഞങ്ങൾ അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ സന്തതി; ആർക്കും ഒരുനാളും ദാസന്മാരായിരുന്നിട്ടില്ല; നിങ്ങൾ സ്വതന്ത്രന്മാർ ആകും എന്നു നീ പറയുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever commits sin is the servant of sin.അതിന്നു യേശു: “ആമേൻ, ആമേൻ, ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു: പാപം ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ എല്ലാം പാപത്തിന്റെ ദാസൻ ആകുന്നു.

And the servant abides not in the house for ever: but the Son abides ever.ദാസൻ എന്നേക്കും വീട്ടിൽ വസിക്കുന്നില്ല; പുത്രനോ എന്നേക്കും വസിക്കുന്നു.

If the Son therefore shall make you free, all of you shall be free indeed.പുത്രൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം വരുത്തിയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ സാക്ഷാൽ സ്വതന്ത്രർ ആകും.

I know that all of you are Abraham's seed; but all of you seek to kill me, because my word has no place in you.നിങ്ങൾ അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ സന്തതി എന്നു ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു; എങ്കിലും എന്റെ വചനത്തിന്നു നിങ്ങളിൽ ഇടം ഇല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ കൊല്ലുവാൻ നോക്കുന്നു.

I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and all of you do that which all of you have seen with your father.പിതാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കണ്ടിട്ടുള്ളതു ഞാൻ സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവിനോടു കേട്ടിട്ടുള്ളതു നിങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു” ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus says unto them, If all of you were Abraham's children, all of you would do the works of Abraham.അവർ അവനോടു: അബ്രാഹാം ആകുന്നു ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതിന്നു യേശു അവരോടു: “നിങ്ങൾ അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ മക്കൾ എങ്കിൽ അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ ചെയ്യുമായിരുന്നു.

But now all of you seek to kill me, a man that has told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.എന്നാൽ ദൈവത്തോടു കേട്ടിട്ടുള്ള സത്യം നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യനായ എന്നെ നിങ്ങൾ കൊല്ലുവാൻ നോക്കുന്നു; അങ്ങനെ അബ്രാഹാം ചെയ്തില്ലല്ലോ.

All of you do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ നിങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അവർ അവനോടു: ഞങ്ങൾ പരസംഗത്താൽ ജനിച്ചവരല്ല; ഞങ്ങൾക്കു ഒരു പിതാവേയുള്ളു; ദൈവം തന്നേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, all of you would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.യേശു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: “ദൈവം നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവു എങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുമായിരുന്നു ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽനിന്നു വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ സ്വയമായി വന്നതല്ല, അവൻ എന്നെ അയച്ചതാകുന്നു.

Why do all of you not understand my speech? even because all of you cannot hear my word.എന്റെ ഭാഷണം നിങ്ങൾ ഗ്രഹിക്കാത്തതു എന്തു? എന്റെ വചനം കേൾപ്പാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു മനസ്സില്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടത്രേ.

All of you are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father all of you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.നിങ്ങൾ പിശാചെന്ന പിതാവിന്റെ മക്കൾ; നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവിന്റെ മോഹങ്ങളെ ചെയ്‍വാനും ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നു. അവൻ ആദിമുതൽ കുലപാതകൻ ആയിരുന്നു; അവനിൽ സത്യം ഇല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു സത്യത്തിൽ നില്ക്കുന്നതുമില്ല. അവൻ ഭോഷ്കു പറയുമ്പോൾ സ്വന്തത്തിൽ നിന്നു എടുത്തു പറയുന്നു; അവൻ ഭോഷ്കു പറയുന്നവനും അതിന്റെ അപ്പനും ആകുന്നു.

And because I tell you the truth, all of you believe me not.ഞാനോ സത്യം പറയുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നില്ല.

Which of you convinces me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do all of you not believe me?നിങ്ങളിൽ ആർ എന്നെ പാപത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു ബോധം വരുത്തുന്നു? ഞാൻ സത്യം പറയുന്നു എങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ വിശ്വസിക്കാത്തതു എന്തു?

He that is of God hears God's words: all of you therefore hear them not, because all of you are not of God.ദൈവസന്തതിയായവൻ ദൈവവചനം കേൾക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾ ദൈവസന്തതിയല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു കേൾക്കുന്നില്ല.

Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that you are a Samaritan, and have a devil?യെഹൂദന്മാർ അവനോടു: നീ ഒരു ശമര്യൻ; നിനക്കു ഭൂതം ഉണ്ടു എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ പറയുന്നതു ശരിയല്ലയോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and all of you do dishonour me.അതിന്നു യേശു: “എനിക്കു ഭൂതമില്ല; ഞാൻ എന്റെ പിതാവിനെ ബഹുമാനിക്ക അത്രേ ചെയ്യുന്നതു; നിങ്ങളോ എന്നെ അപമാനിക്കുന്നു.

And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeks and judges.ഞാൻ എന്റെ മഹത്വം അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നില്ല; അന്വേഷിക്കയും വിധിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ ഒരുവൻ ഉണ്ടു.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.ആമേൻ, ആമേൻ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു: എന്റെ വചനം പ്രമാണിക്കുന്നവൻ ഒരുനാളും മരണം കാൺകയില്ല ” എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that you have a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and you says, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.യെഹൂദന്മാർ അവനോടു: നിനക്കു ഭൂതം ഉണ്ടു എന്നു ഇപ്പോൾ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു മനസ്സിലായി; അബ്രാഹാമും പ്രവാചകന്മാരും മരിച്ചു; നീയോ എന്റെ വചനം പ്രമാണിക്കുന്നവൻ ഒരുനാളും മരണം ആസ്വദിക്കയില്ല എന്നു പറയുന്നു.

Are you greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom make you yourself?ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവായ അബ്രാഹാമിനെക്കാൾ നീ വലിയവനോ? അവൻ മരിച്ചു, പ്രവാചകന്മാരും മരിച്ചു; നിന്നെത്തന്നെ നീ ആർ ആക്കുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു യേശു:

Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honors me; of whom all of you say, that he is your God:“ഞാൻ എന്നെത്തന്നെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തിയാൽ എന്റെ മഹത്വം ഏതുമില്ല; എന്നെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതു എന്റെ പിതാവു ആകുന്നു; അവനെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവം എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ പറയുന്നു.

Yet all of you have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങൾ അവനെ അറിയുന്നില്ല; ഞാനോ അവനെ അറിയുന്നു; അവനെ അറിയുന്നില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞാൽ നിങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ ഭോഷ്കുപറയുന്നവൻ ആകും; എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ അവനെ അറിയുന്നു; അവന്റെ വചനം പ്രമാണിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവായ അബ്രാഹാം എന്റെ ദിവസം കാണും എന്നുള്ളതുകൊണ്ടു ഉല്ലസിച്ചു; അവൻ കണ്ടു സന്തോഷിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

Then said the Jews unto him, You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?യെഹൂദന്മാർ അവനോടു: നിനക്കു അമ്പതു വയസ്സു ആയിട്ടില്ല; നീ അബ്രാഹാമിനെ കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ടോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.യേശു അവരോടു: “ആമേൻ, ആമേൻ, ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു: അബ്രാഹാം ജനിച്ചതിന്നു മുമ്പേ ഞാൻ ഉണ്ടു ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.അപ്പോൾ അവർ അവനെ എറിവാൻ കല്ലു എടുത്തു; യേശുവോ മറഞ്ഞു ദൈവാലയം വിട്ടു പോയി.

John 9

And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.അവൻ കടന്നുപോകുമ്പോൾ പിറവിയിലെ കുരുടനായോരു മനുഷ്യനെ കണ്ടു.

And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ അവനോടു: റബ്ബീ, ഇവൻ കുരുടനായി പിറക്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം ആർ പാപം ചെയ്തു? ഇവനോ ഇവന്റെ അമ്മയപ്പന്മാരോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

Jesus answered, Neither has this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.അതിന്നു യേശു: “അവൻ എങ്കിലും അവന്റെ അമ്മയപ്പന്മാരെങ്കിലും പാപം ചെയ്തിട്ടല്ല, ദൈവപ്രവൃത്തി അവങ്കൽ വെളിവാകേണ്ടതിന്നത്രേ.

I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night comes, when no man can work.എന്നെ അയച്ചവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തി പകൽ ഉള്ളേടത്തോളം നാം ചെയ്യേണ്ടതാകുന്നു; ആർക്കും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചുകൂടാത്ത രാത്രി വരുന്നു;

As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.ഞാൻ ലോകത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ലോകത്തിന്റെ വെളിച്ചം ആകുന്നു” എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടു അവൻ നിലത്തു തുപ്പി തുപ്പൽകൊണ്ടു ചേറുണ്ടാക്കി ചേറു അവന്റെ കണ്ണിന്മേൽ പൂശി

And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.“നീ ചെന്നു ശിലോഹാംകുളത്തിൽ കഴുകുക” എന്നു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു; ശിലോഹാം എന്നതിന്നു അയക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ എന്നർത്ഥം. അവൻ പോയി കഴുകി, കണ്ണു കാണുന്നവനായി മടങ്ങിവന്നു.

The neighbours therefore, and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and begged?അയൽക്കാരും അവനെ മുമ്പെ ഇരക്കുന്നവനായി കണ്ടവരും: ഇവനല്ലയോ അവിടെ ഇരുന്നു ഭിക്ഷ യാചിച്ചവൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

Some said, This is he: others said, He is like him: but he said, I am he.അവൻ തന്നേഎന്നു ചിലരും അല്ല, അവനെപ്പോലെയുള്ളവൻ എന്നു മറ്റുചിലരും പറഞ്ഞു; ഞാൻ തന്നേ എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.

Therefore said they unto him, How were yours eyes opened?അവർ അവനോടു: നിന്റെ കണ്ണു തുറന്നതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു അവൻ:

He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight.യേശു എന്നു പേരുള്ള മനുഷ്യൻ ചേറുണ്ടാക്കി എന്റെ കണ്ണിന്മേൽ പൂശി: ശിലോഹാംകുളത്തിൽ ചെന്നു കഴുകുക എന്നു എന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞു; ഞാൻ പോയി കഴുകി കാഴ്ച പ്രാപിച്ചു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

Then said they unto him, Where is he? He said, I know not.അവൻ എവിടെ എന്നു അവർ അവനോടു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു: ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നില്ല എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.

They brought to the Pharisees him that in old times was blind.കുരുടനായിരുന്നവനെ അവർ പരീശന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുപോയി.

And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.യേശു ചേറുണ്ടാക്കി അവന്റെ കണ്ണു തുറന്നതു ശബ്ബത്ത് നാളിൽ ആയിരുന്നു.

Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see.അവൻ കാഴ്ച പ്രാപിച്ചതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നു പരീശന്മാരും അവനോടു ചോദിച്ചു. അവൻ അവരോടു: അവൻ എന്റെ കണ്ണിന്മേൽ ചേറു തേച്ചു ഞാൻ കഴുകി; കാഴ്ച പ്രാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keeps not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.പരീശന്മാരിൽ ചിലർ: ഈ മനുഷ്യൻ ശബ്ബത്ത് പ്രമാണിക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽനിന്നു വന്നവനല്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. മറ്റു ചിലർ: പാപിയായോരു മനുഷ്യന്നു ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ള അടയാളങ്ങൾ ചെയ്‍വാൻ എങ്ങനെ കഴിയും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; അങ്ങനെ അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഒരു ഭിന്നത ഉണ്ടായി.

They say unto the blind man again, What says you of him, that he has opened yours eyes? He said, He is a prophet.അവർ പിന്നെയും കുരുടനോടു: നിന്റെ കണ്ണു തുറന്നതുകൊണ്ടു നീ അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു എന്തു പറയുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു: അവൻ ഒരു പ്രവാചകൻ എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.

But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and received his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight.കാഴ്ചപ്രാപിച്ചവന്റെ അമ്മയപ്പന്മാരെ വിളിച്ചു ചോദിക്കുവോളം അവൻ കുരുടനായിരുന്നു എന്നും കാഴ്ച പ്രാപിച്ചു എന്നും യെഹൂദന്മാർ വിശ്വസിച്ചില്ല.

And they asked them, saying, Is this your son, who all of you say was born blind? how then does he now see?കുരുടനായി ജനിച്ചു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ പറയുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ മകൻ ഇവൻ തന്നെയോ? എന്നാൽ അവന്നു ഇപ്പോൾ കണ്ണു കാണുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നു അവർ അവരോടു ചോദിച്ചു.

His parents answered them and said, We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind:അവന്റെ അമ്മയപ്പന്മാർ: ഇവൻ ഞങ്ങളുടെ മകൻ എന്നും കുരുടനായി ജനിച്ചവൻ എന്നും ഞങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നു.

But by what means he now sees, we know not; or who has opened his eyes, we know not: he is of age; ask him: he shall speak for himself.എന്നാൽ കണ്ണു കാണുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നു അറിയുന്നില്ല; അവന്റെ കണ്ണു ആർ തുറന്നു എന്നും അറിയുന്നില്ല; അവനോടു ചോദിപ്പിൻ; അവന്നു പ്രായം ഉണ്ടല്ലോ അവൻ തന്നേ പറയും എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

These words spoke his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.യെഹൂദന്മാരെ ഭയപ്പെടുകകൊണ്ടത്രേ അവന്റെ അമ്മയപ്പന്മാർ ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞതു; അവനെ ക്രിസ്തു എന്നു ഏറ്റുപറയുന്നവൻ പള്ളിഭ്രഷ്ടനാകേണം എന്നു യെഹൂദന്മാർ തമ്മിൽ പറഞ്ഞൊത്തിരുന്നു

Therefore said his parents, He is of age; ask him.അതുകൊണ്ടത്രേ അവന്റെ അമ്മയപ്പന്മാർ: അവന്നു പ്രായം ഉണ്ടല്ലോ; അവനോടു ചോദിപ്പിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞതു.

Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner.കുരുടനായിരുന്ന മനുഷ്യനെ അവർ രണ്ടാമതും വിളിച്ചു: ദൈവത്തിന്നു മഹത്വം കൊടുക്ക; ആ മനുഷ്യൻ പാപി എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.അതിന്നു അവൻ: അവൻ പാപിയോ അല്ലയോ എന്നു ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നില്ല; ഒന്നു അറിയുന്നു; ഞാൻ കുരുടനായിരുന്നു, ഇപ്പോൾ കണ്ണു കാണുന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

Then said they to him again, What did he to you? how opened he yours eyes?അവർ അവനോടു: അവൻ നിനക്കു എന്തു ചെയ്തു? നിന്റെ കണ്ണു എങ്ങനെ തുറന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

He answered them, I have told you already, and all of you did not hear: wherefore would all of you hear it again? will all of you also be his disciples?അതിന്നു അവൻ: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ; നിങ്ങൾ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചില്ല; വീണ്ടും കേൾപ്പാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു? നിങ്ങൾക്കും അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ ആകുവാൻ മനസ്സുണ്ടോ എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

Then they reviled him, and said, You are his disciple; but we are Moses' disciples.അപ്പോൾ അവർ അവനെ ശകാരിച്ചു: നീ അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യൻ; ഞങ്ങൾ മോശെയുടെ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ.

We know that God spoke unto Moses: as for this fellow, we know not from whence he is.മോശെയോടു ദൈവം സംസാരിച്ചു എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നു; ഇവനോ എവിടെനിന്നു എന്നു അറിയുന്നില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvellous thing, that all of you know not from whence he is, and yet he has opened mine eyes.ആ മനുഷ്യൻ അവരോടു: എന്റെ കണ്ണു തുറന്നിട്ടും അവൻ എവിടെനിന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയാത്തതു ആശ്ചയ്യം.

Now we know that God hears not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and does his will, him he hears.പാപികളുടെ പ്രാർത്ഥന ദൈവം കേൾക്കുന്നില്ല എന്നും ദൈവഭക്തനായിരുന്നു അവന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം ചെയ്യുന്നവന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥന കേൾക്കുന്നു എന്നും നാം അറിയുന്നു.

Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind.കുരുടനായി പിറന്നവന്റെ കണ്ണു ആരെങ്കിലും തുറന്നപ്രകാരം ലോകം ഉണ്ടായതുമുതൽ കേട്ടിട്ടില്ല.

If this man were not of God, he could do nothing.ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽനിന്നു വന്നവൻ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അവന്നു ഒന്നും ചെയ്‍വാൻ കഴികയില്ല എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

They answered and said unto him, You were altogether born in sins, and do you teach us? And they cast him out.അവർ അവനോടു: നീ മുഴുവനും പാപത്തിൽ പിറന്നവൻ; നീ ഞങ്ങളെ ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നുവോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവനെ പുറത്താക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Do you believe on the Son of God?അവനെ പുറത്താക്കി എന്നു യേശു കേട്ടു; അവനെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ: “നീ ദൈവപുത്രനിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നുവോ ” എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him?അതിന്നു അവൻ: യജമാനനേ, അവൻ ആർ ആകുന്നു? ഞാൻ അവനിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കാം എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

³⁷

And Jesus said unto him, You have both seen him, and it is he that talks with you.യേശു അവനോടു: “നീ അവനെ കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ടു; നിന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്നവൻ അവൻ തന്നേ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

³⁸

And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.ഉടനെ അവൻ: കർത്താവേ, ഞാൻ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവനെ നമസ്കരിച്ചു.

³⁹

And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.“കാണാത്തവർ കാണ്മാനും കാണുന്നവർ കുരുടർ ആവാനും ഇങ്ങനെ ന്യായവിധിക്കായി ഞാൻ ഇഹലോകത്തിൽ വന്നു” എന്നു യേശു പറഞ്ഞു.

And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?അവനോടുകൂടെയുള്ള ചില പരീശന്മാർ ഇതു കേട്ടിട്ടു ഞങ്ങളും കുരുടരോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

Jesus said unto them, If all of you were blind, all of you should have no sin: but now all of you say, We see; therefore your sin remains.യേശു അവരോടു: “നിങ്ങൾ കുരുടർ ആയിരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു പാപം ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു; എന്നാൽ: ഞങ്ങൾ കാണുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ പറയുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപം നില്ക്കുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
