Isaiah 25

O Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you, I will praise your name; for you have done wonderful things; your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.യഹോവേ നീ എന്റെ ദൈവമാകുന്നു; ഞാൻ നിന്നെ പുകഴ്ത്തും; ഞാൻ നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ സ്തുതിക്കും; നീ അത്ഭുതമായി പണ്ടേയുള്ള ആലോചനകളെ വിശ്വസ്തതയോടും സത്യത്തോടും കൂടെ അനുഷ്ഠിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

For you have made of a city an heap; of a defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.നീ നഗരത്തെ കൽക്കുന്നും ഉറപ്പുള്ള പട്ടണത്തെ ശൂന്യവും അന്യന്മാരുടെ അരമനകളെ നഗരമല്ലാതവണ്ണവും ആക്കിത്തീർത്തു; അതു ഒരു നാളും പണികയില്ല.

Therefore shall the strong people glorify you, the city of the terrible nations shall fear you.അതുകൊണ്ടു ബലമുള്ള ജാതി നിന്നെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തും; ഭയങ്കരജാതികളുടെ പട്ടണം നിന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടും.

For you have been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.ഭയങ്കരന്മാരുടെ ചീറ്റൽ മതിലിന്റെ നേരെ കൊടുങ്കാറ്റുപോലെ അടിക്കുമ്പോൾ, നീ എളിയവന്നു ഒരു ദുർഗ്ഗവും ദരിദ്രന്നു അവന്റെ കഷ്ടത്തിൽ ഒരു കോട്ടയും കൊടുങ്കാറ്റിൽ ഒരു ശരണവും ഉഷ്ണത്തിൽ ഒരു തണലും ആയിരിക്കുന്നു.

You shall bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.വരണ്ട നിലത്തിലെ ഉഷ്ണത്തെപ്പോലെ നീ അന്യന്മാരുടെ ആരവത്തെ അടക്കിക്കളയുന്നു; മേഘത്തിന്റെ തണൽകൊണ്ടു ഉഷ്ണം എന്നപോലെ നിഷ്കണ്ടകന്മാരുടെ പാട്ടു ഒതുങ്ങിപ്പോകും.

And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the sediments of wine, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the sediments of wine well refined.സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഈ പർവ്വതത്തിൽ സകലജാതികൾക്കും മൃഷ്ടഭോജനങ്ങൾകൊണ്ടും മട്ടൂറിയ വീഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടും ഒരു വിരുന്നു കഴിക്കും; മേദസ്സുനിറഞ്ഞ മൃഷ്ടഭോജനങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ടും മട്ടു നീക്കി തെളിച്ചെടുത്ത വീഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടും ഉള്ള വിരുന്നു തന്നേ.

And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.സകലവംശങ്ങൾക്കും ഉള്ള മൂടുപടവും സകലജാതികളുടെയും മേൽ കിടക്കുന്ന മറവും അവൻ ഈ പർവ്വതത്തിൽവെച്ചു നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും.

He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD has spoken it.അവൻ മരണത്തെ സദാകാലത്തേക്കും നീക്കിക്കളയും; യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു സകലമുഖങ്ങളിലുംനിന്നു കണ്ണുനീർ തുടെക്കയും തന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നിന്ദ സകലഭൂമിയിലുംനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളകയും ചെയ്യും. യഹോവയല്ലോ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതു.

And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.അന്നാളിൽ: ഇതാ, നമ്മുടെ ദൈവം; അവനെയത്രേ നാം കാത്തിരുന്നതു; അവൻ നമ്മെ രക്ഷിക്കും; അവൻ തന്നേ യഹോവ; അവനെയത്രേ നാം കാത്തിരുന്നതു; അവന്റെ രക്ഷയിൽ നമുക്കു ആനന്ദിച്ചു സന്തോഷിക്കാം എന്നു അവർ പറയും.

For in this mountain shall the hand of the LORD rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under him, even as straw is trodden down for the dunghill.യഹോവയുടെ കൈ ഈ പർവ്വതത്തിൽ ആവസിക്കുമല്ലോ; എന്നാൽ വൈക്കോൽ ചാണകകൂഴിയിലെ വെള്ളത്തിൽ ഇട്ടു ചവിട്ടുന്നതുപോലെ മോവാബ് സ്വസ്ഥാനത്തു തന്നേ മെതിക്കപ്പെടും.

And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swins spreads forth his hands to swim: and he shall bring down their pride together with the spoils of their hands.നീന്തുന്നവൻ നീന്തുവാൻ കൈ നീട്ടുന്നതുപോലെ അവൻ അതിന്റെ നടുവിൽ കൈ നീട്ടും; എങ്കിലും അവന്റെ ഗർവ്വവും കൈമിടുക്കും അവൻ താഴ്ത്തിക്കളയും.

And the fortress of the high fort of your walls shall he bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust.നിന്റെ ഉറപ്പും ഉയരവും ഉള്ള മതിലുകളെ അവൻ താഴെ നിലത്തു തള്ളിയിട്ടു പൊടിയാക്കിക്കളയും.

Isaiah 26

In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks.അന്നാളിൽ അവർ യെഹൂദാദേശത്തു ഈ പാട്ടു പാടും: നമുക്കു ബലമുള്ളോരു പട്ടണം ഉണ്ടു; അവൻ രക്ഷയെ മതിലുകളും കൊത്തളങ്ങളും ആക്കിവെക്കുന്നു.

Open all of you the gates, that the righteous nation which keeps the truth may enter in.വിശ്വസ്തത കാണിക്കുന്ന നീതിയുള്ള ജാതി പ്രവേശിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു വാതിലുകളെ തുറപ്പിൻ.

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you: because he trusts in you.സ്ഥിരമാനസൻ നിന്നിൽ ആശ്രയം വെച്ചിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു നീ അവനെ പൂർണ്ണസമാധാനത്തിൽ കാക്കുന്നു.

Trust all of you in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:യഹോവയാം യാഹിൽ ശാശ്വതമായോരു പാറ ഉള്ളതിനാൽ യഹോവയിൽ എന്നേക്കും ആശ്രയിപ്പിൻ.

For he brings down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he lays it low; he lays it low, even to the ground; he brings it even to the dust.അവൻ ഉയരത്തിൽ പാർക്കുന്നവരെ ഉന്നതനഗരത്തെതന്നേ താഴ്ത്തി തള്ളിയിട്ടു നിലംപരിചാക്കി പൊടിയിൽ ഇട്ടു കളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

The foot shall tread it down, even the feet of the poor, and the steps of the needy.കാൽ അതിനെ ചവിട്ടിക്കളയും; എളിയവരുടെ കാലുകളും ദരിദ്രന്മാരുടെ കാലടികളും തന്നേ.

The way of the just is uprightness: you, most upright, do weigh the path of the just.നീതിമാന്റെ വഴി ചൊവ്വുള്ളതാകുന്നു; നീ നീതിമാന്റെ പാതയെ ചൊവ്വായി നിരത്തുന്നു.

Yea, in the way of your judgments, O LORD, have we waited for you; the desire of our soul is to your name, and to the remembrance of you.അതേ, യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ ന്യായവിധികളുടെ പാതയിൽ ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്നെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ നാമത്തിന്നായിട്ടും നിന്റെ സ്മരണക്കായിട്ടും ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഉള്ളം വാഞ്ഛിക്കുന്നു.

With my soul have I desired you in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek you early: for when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.എന്റെ ഉള്ളം കൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ രാത്രിയിൽ നിന്നെ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു ഉള്ളിൽ എന്റെ ആത്മാവുകൊണ്ടു തന്നേ ഞാൻ ജാഗ്രതയോടെ നിന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കും; നിന്റെ ന്യായവിധികൾ ഭൂമിയിൽ നടക്കുമ്പോൾ ഭൂവാസികൾ നീതിയെ പഠിക്കും.

Let favour be showed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the LORD.ദുഷ്ടന്നു കൃപ കാണിച്ചാലും അവൻ നീതി പഠിക്കയില്ല; നേരുള്ള ദേശത്തു അവൻ അന്യായം പ്രവർത്തിക്കും; യഹോവയുടെ മഹത്വം അവൻ കാണുകയുമില്ല.

LORD, when your hand is lifted up, they will not see: but they shall see, and be ashamed for their envy at the people; yea, the fire of yours enemies shall devour them.യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ കൈ ഉയർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; അവരോ കാണുന്നില്ല; എങ്കിലും ജനത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള നിന്റെ തീക്ഷ്ണത അവർ കണ്ടു ലജ്ജിക്കും; നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന തീ അവരെ ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും.

LORD, you will ordain peace for us: for you also have wrought all our works in us.യഹോവേ, നീ ഞങ്ങൾക്കായിട്ടു സമാധാനം നിയമിക്കും; ഞങ്ങളുടെ സകലപ്രവൃത്തികളെയും നീ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു വേണ്ടി നിവർത്തിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

O LORD our God, other lords beside you have had dominion over us: but by you only will we make mention of your name.ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, നീയല്ലാതെ വേറെ കർത്താക്കന്മാർ ഞങ്ങളുടെമേൽ കർത്തൃത്വം നടത്തീട്ടുണ്ടു; എന്നാൽ നിന്നെ മാത്രം, നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ തന്നേ, ഞങ്ങൾ സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നു.

They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise: therefore have you visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.മരിച്ചവർ ജീവിക്കുന്നില്ല; മൃതന്മാർ എഴുന്നേല്ക്കുന്നില്ല; അതിന്നായിട്ടല്ലോ നീ അവരെ സന്ദർശിച്ചു സംഹരിക്കയും അവരുടെ ഓർമ്മയെ അശേഷം ഇല്ലാതാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തതു.

You have increased the nation, O LORD, you have increased the nation: you are glorified: you had removed it far unto all the ends of the earth.നീ ജനത്തെ വർദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു; യഹോവേ, ജനത്തെ നീ വർദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു; നീ മഹത്വപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ദേശത്തിന്റെ അതിരുകളെയെല്ലാം നീ വിസ്താരമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

LORD, in trouble have they visited you, they poured out a prayer when your chastening was upon them.യഹോവേ, കഷ്ടതയിൽ അവർ നിന്നെ നോക്കുകയും നിന്റെ ശിക്ഷ അവർക്കു തട്ടിയപ്പോൾ ജപംകഴിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

Like a woman with child, that draws near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and cries out in her pangs; so have we been in your sight, O LORD.യഹോവേ, പ്രസവം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന ഗർഭണി നോവുകിട്ടി തന്റെ വേദനയിൽ നിലവിളിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ ആയിരുന്നു.

We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.ഞങ്ങൾ ഗർഭം ധരിച്ചു നോവുകിട്ടി പ്രസവിച്ചാറെ, കാറ്റിനെ പ്രസവിച്ചതുപോലെ ഇരുന്നു; ദേശത്തു ഒരു രക്ഷയും ഞങ്ങൾ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിട്ടില്ല; ഭൂവാസികൾ പിറന്നുവീണതുമില്ല.

Your dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, all of you that dwell in dust: for your dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.നിന്റെ മൃതന്മാർ ജീവിക്കും; എന്റെ ശവങ്ങൾ എഴുന്നേല്ക്കും; പൊടിയിൽ കിടക്കുന്നവരേ, ഉണർന്നു ഘോഷിപ്പിൻ; നിന്റെ മഞ്ഞു പ്രഭാതത്തിലെ മഞ്ഞുപോലെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; ഭൂമി പ്രേതന്മാരെ പ്രസവിക്കുമല്ലോ.

Come, my people, enter you into your chambers, and shut your doors about you: hide yourself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation pass over.എന്റെ ജനമേ, വന്നു നിന്റെ അറകളിൽ കടന്നു വാതിലുകളെ അടെക്ക; ക്രോധം കടന്നുപോകുവോളം അല്പനേരത്തേക്കു ഒളിച്ചിരിക്ക.

For, behold, the LORD comes out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.യഹോവ ഭൂവാസികളെ അവരുടെ അകൃത്യംനിമിത്തം സന്ദർശിപ്പാൻ തന്റെ സ്ഥലത്തുനിന്നു ഇതാ, വരുന്നു. ഭൂമി താൻ കുടിച്ച രക്തം ഒക്കെയും വെളിപ്പെടുത്തും; തന്നിലുള്ള ഹതന്മാരെ ഇനി മൂടിവെക്കയുമില്ല.

Isaiah 27

In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.അന്നാളിൽ യഹോവ കടുപ്പവും വലിപ്പവും ബലവും ഉള്ള തന്റെ വാൾകൊണ്ടു വിദ്രുതസർപ്പമായ ലിവ്യാഥാനെയും വക്രസർപ്പമായ ലിവ്യാഥാനെയും സന്ദർശിക്കും; സമുദ്രത്തിലെ മഹാസർപ്പത്തെ അവൻ കൊന്നുകളയും.

In that day sing all of you unto her, A vineyard of red wine.അന്നു നിങ്ങൾ മനോഹരമായോരു മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടത്തെപ്പറ്റി പാട്ടു പാടുവിൻ.

I the LORD do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day.യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ അതിനെ സൂക്ഷിക്കും; ക്ഷണംപ്രതി ഞാൻ അതിനെ നനെക്കും; ആരും അതിനെ തൊടാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ അതിനെ രാവും പകലും സൂക്ഷിക്കും.

Fury is not in me: who would set the briers and thorns against me in battle? I would go through them, I would burn them together.ക്രോധം എനിക്കില്ല; യുദ്ധത്തിൽ പറക്കാരയും മുൾപടർപ്പും എനിക്കു വിരോധമായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു; ഞാൻ അവയുടെ നേരെ ചെന്നു അവയെ ആകപ്പാടെ ചുട്ടുകളയുമായിരുന്നു.

Or let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me; and he shall make peace with me.അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അവൻ എന്നെ അഭയം പ്രാപിച്ചു എന്നോടു സമാധാനം ചെയ്തുകൊള്ളട്ടെ; അതേ, അവൻ എന്നോടു സമാധാനം ചെയ്തുകൊള്ളട്ടെ.

He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.വരും കാലത്തു യാക്കോബ് വേരൂന്നുകയും യിസ്രായേൽ തളിർത്തുപൂക്കുകയും അങ്ങനെ ഭൂതലത്തിന്റെ ഉപരിഭാഗം ഫലപൂർണ്ണമാകയും ചെയ്യും.

Has he smitten him, as he stroke those that stroke him? or is he slain according to the slaughter of them that are slain by him?അവനെ അടിച്ചവരേ അടിച്ചതുപോലെയോ അവൻ അവനെ അടിച്ചതു? അവനെ കൊന്നവരെ കൊന്നതുപോലെയോ അവൻ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നതു?

In measure, when it shoots forth, you will debate with it: he stays his rough wind in the day of the east wind.അവരെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചതിനാൽ നീ മിതമായിട്ടു അവളോടു വാദിച്ചു; കിഴക്കൻ കാറ്റുള്ള നാളിൽ അവൻ കൊടുങ്കാറ്റുകൊണ്ടു പാറ്റിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this is all the fruit to take away his sin; when he makes all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in two, the groves and images shall not stand up.ഇതുകൊണ്ടു യാക്കോബിന്റെ അകൃത്യത്തിന്നു പരിഹാരം വരും; അവന്റെ പാപത്തെ നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞതിന്റെ ഫലമെല്ലാം ഇതാകുന്നു; അവൻ ബലിപീഠത്തിന്റെ കല്ലു ഒക്കെയും ഇടിച്ചുതകർത്ത ചുണ്ണാമ്പുകല്ലുപോലെ ആക്കുമ്പോൾ അശേരാപ്രതിഷ്ഠകളും സൂര്യസ്തംഭങ്ങളും ഇനി നിവിർന്നുനിൽക്കയില്ല.

Yet the defenced city shall be desolate, and the habitation forsaken, and left like a wilderness: there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down, and consume the branches thereof.ഉറപ്പുള്ള പട്ടണം ഏകാന്തവും മരുഭൂമിപോലെ നിർജ്ജനവും ശൂന്യവും ആയിരിക്കും; അവിടെ കാളക്കിടാവു മേഞ്ഞുകിടന്നു അവിടെയുള്ള തളിരുകളെ തിന്നുകളയും.

When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off: the women come, and set them on fire: for it is a people of no understanding: therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and he that formed them will show them no favour.അതിലെ കൊമ്പുകൾ ഉണങ്ങുമ്പോൾ ഒടിഞ്ഞുവീഴും; സ്ത്രീകൾ വന്നു അതു പെറുക്കി തീ കത്തിക്കും; അതു തിരിച്ചറിവില്ലാത്ത ഒരു ജാതിയല്ലോ; അതുകൊണ്ടു അവരെ നിർമ്മിച്ചവന്നു അവരോടു കരുണ തോന്നുകയില്ല; അവരെ മനെഞ്ഞവൻ അവർക്കു കൃപ കാണിക്കയുമില്ല.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall beat off from the channel of the river unto the stream of Egypt, and all of you shall be gathered one by one, O all of you children of Israel.അന്നാളിൽ യഹോവ നദിമുതൽ മിസ്രയീം തോടുവരെ കറ്റ മെതിക്കും; യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളേ, നിങ്ങളെ ഓരോന്നായി പെറുക്കി എടുക്കും.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.അന്നാളിൽ മഹാകാഹളം ഊതും; അശ്ശൂർ ദേശത്തു നഷ്ടരായവരും മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു ഭ്രഷ്ടരായവരും വന്നു യെരൂശലേമിലെ വിശുദ്ധപർവ്വതത്തിൽ യഹോവയെ നമസ്കരിക്കും.
