Psalms 91

He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.അത്യുന്നതന്റെ മറവിൽ വസിക്കയും സർവ്വശക്തന്റെ നിഴലിൻ കീഴിൽ പാർക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ

I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.യഹോവയെക്കുറിച്ചു: അവൻ എന്റെ സങ്കേതവും കോട്ടയും ഞാൻ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്ന എന്റെ ദൈവവും എന്നു പറയുന്നു.

Surely he shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the dangerous pestilence.അവൻ നിന്നെ വേട്ടക്കാരന്റെ കണിയിൽ നിന്നും നാശകരമായ മഹാമാരിയിൽനിന്നും വിടുവിക്കും.

He shall cover you with his feathers, and under his wings shall you trust: his truth shall be your shield and buckler.തന്റെ തൂവലുകൾകൊണ്ടു അവൻ നിന്നെ മറെക്കും; അവന്റെ ചിറകിൻ കീഴിൽ നീ ശരണം പ്രാപിക്കും; അവന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തത നിനക്കു പരിചയും പലകയും ആകുന്നു.

You shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flies by day;രാത്രിയിലെ ഭയത്തെയും പകൽ പറക്കുന്ന അസ്ത്രത്തെയും

Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday.ഇരുട്ടിൽ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്ന മഹാമാരിയെയും ഉച്ചെക്കു നശിപ്പിക്കുന്ന സംഹാരത്തെയും നിനക്കു പേടിപ്പാനില്ല.

A thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come nigh you.നിന്റെ വശത്തു ആയിരം പേരും നിന്റെ വലത്തുവശത്തു പതിനായിരം പേരും വീഴും, എങ്കിലും അതു നിന്നോടു അടുത്തുവരികയില്ല.

Only with yours eyes shall you behold and see the reward of the wicked.നിന്റെ കണ്ണുകൊണ്ടു തന്നേ നീ നോക്കി ദുഷ്ടന്മാർക്കു വരുന്ന പ്രതിഫലം കാണും.

Because you have made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, your habitation;യഹോവേ, നീ എന്റെ സങ്കേതമാകുന്നു; നീ അത്യുന്നതനെ നിന്റെ വാസസ്ഥലമാക്കി ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

¹⁰

There shall no evil befall you, neither shall any plague come nigh your dwelling.ഒരു അനർത്ഥവും നിനക്കു ഭവിക്കയില്ല; ഒരു ബാധയും നിന്റെ കൂടാരത്തിന്നു അടുക്കയില്ല.

¹¹

For he shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.നിന്റെ എല്ലാവഴികളിലും നിന്നെ കാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻ നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു തന്റെ ദൂതന്മാരോടു കല്പിക്കും;

They shall bear you up in their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone.നിന്റെ കാൽ കല്ലിൽ തട്ടിപ്പോകാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവർ നിന്നെ കൈകളിൽ വഹിച്ചുകൊള്ളും.

You shall tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shall you trample under feet.സിംഹത്തിന്മേലും അണലിമേലും നീ ചവിട്ടും; ബാലസിംഹത്തെയും പെരുമ്പാമ്പിനെയും നീ മെതിച്ചുകളയും.

Because he has set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he has known my name.അവൻ എന്നോടു പറ്റിയിരിക്കയാൽ ഞാൻ അവനെ വിടുവിക്കും; അവൻ എന്റെ നാമത്തെ അറികയാൽ ഞാൻ അവനെ ഉയർത്തും.

He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.അവൻ എന്നെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കും; ഞാൻ അവന്നു ഉത്തരമരുളും; കഷ്ടകാലത്തു ഞാൻ അവനോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കും; ഞാൻ അവനെ വിടുവിച്ചു മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തും.

With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.ദീർഘായുസ്സുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ അവന്നു തൃപ്തിവരുത്തും; എന്റെ രക്ഷയെ അവന്നു കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കും.

Psalms 92

IT IS A GOOD THING TO GIVE THANKS UNTO THE LORD, AND TO SING PRAISES UNTO Your NAME, O MOST HIGH:യഹോവെക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യുന്നതും അത്യുന്നതനായുള്ളോവേ, നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ കീർത്തിക്കുന്നതും

To show forth your loving kindness in the morning, and your faithfulness every night,പത്തു കമ്പിയുള്ള വാദിത്രംകൊണ്ടും വീണകൊണ്ടും ഗംഭീരസ്വരമുള്ള കിന്നരംകൊണ്ടും

Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.രാവിലെ നിന്റെ ദയയേയും രാത്രിതോറും നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയേയും വർണ്ണിക്കുന്നതും നല്ലതു.

For you, LORD, have made me glad through your work: I will triumph in the works of your hands.യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികൊണ്ടു നീ എന്നെ സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ നിന്റെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ കുറിച്ചു ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കുന്നു.

O LORD, how great are your works! and your thoughts are very deep.യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ എത്ര വലിയവയാകുന്നു; നിന്റെ വിചാരങ്ങൾ അത്യന്തം അഗാധമായവ തന്നേ.

A brutish man knows not; neither does a fool understand this.മൃഗപ്രായനായ മനുഷ്യൻ അതു അറിയുന്നില്ല; മൂഢൻ അതു ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.

When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:ദുഷ്ടന്മാർ പുല്ലുപോലെ മുളെക്കുന്നതും നീതികേടു പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നവരൊക്കെയും തഴെക്കുന്നതും എന്നേക്കും നശിച്ചുപോകേണ്ടതിന്നാകുന്നു.

But you, LORD, are most high for evermore.നീയോ, യഹോവേ, എന്നേക്കും അത്യുന്നതനാകുന്നു.

For, lo, yours enemies, O LORD, for, lo, yours enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.യഹോവേ, ഇതാ, നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ, ഇതാ, നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ നശിച്ചുപോകുന്നു; നീതികേടു പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന ഏവരും ചിതറിപ്പോകും.

But my horn shall you exalt like the horn of an unicorn : I shall be anointed with fresh oil.എങ്കിലും എന്റെ കൊമ്പു നീ കാട്ടുപോത്തിന്റെ കൊമ്പുപോലെ ഉയർത്തും; പുതിയ എണ്ണ എന്നെ തേപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.എന്റെ കണ്ണു എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ കണ്ടും എന്റെ ചെവി എന്നോടു എതിർക്കുന്ന ദുഷ്കർമ്മികളെക്കുറിച്ചു കേട്ടും രസിക്കും.

The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.നീതിമാൻ പനപോലെ തഴെക്കും; ലെബാനോനിലെ ദേവദാരുപോലെ വളരും.

Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ നടുതലയായവർ നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പ്രാകാരങ്ങളിൽ തഴെക്കും.

¹⁴

They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;വാർദ്ധക്യത്തിലും അവർ ഫലം കായിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും; അവർ പുഷ്ടിവെച്ചും പച്ചപിടിച്ചും ഇരിക്കും.

¹⁵

To show that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.യഹോവ നേരുള്ളവൻ, അവൻ എന്റെ പാറ, അവനിൽ നീതികേടില്ല എന്നു കാണിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നെ.

Psalms 93

The LORD reigns, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he has girded himself: the world also is established, that it cannot be moved.യഹോവ വാഴുന്നു; അവൻ മഹിമ ധരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവ ബലം ധരിച്ചു അരെക്കു കെട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ഭൂലോകം ഇളകാതെ ഉറെച്ചുനില്ക്കുന്നു.

Your throne is established of old: you are from everlasting.നിന്റെ സിംഹാസനം പുരാതനമേ സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കുന്നു. നീ അനാദിയായുള്ളവൻ തന്നേ.

The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.യഹോവേ, പ്രവാഹങ്ങൾ ഉയർത്തുന്നു; പ്രവാഹങ്ങൾ ശബ്ദം ഉയർത്തുന്നു; പ്രവാഹങ്ങൾ തിരമാലകളെ ഉയർത്തുന്നു.

The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.സമുദ്രത്തിലെ വൻ തിരകളായ പെരുവെള്ളങ്ങളുടെ മുഴക്കത്തെക്കാളും ഉയരത്തിൽ യഹോവ മഹിമയുള്ളവൻ.

Your testimonies are very sure: holiness becomes yours house, O LORD, for ever.നിന്റെ സാക്ഷ്യങ്ങൾ എത്രയും നിശ്ചയമുള്ളവ; യഹോവേ, വിശുദ്ധി നിന്റെ ആലയത്തിന്നു എന്നേക്കും ഉചിതം തന്നേ.
