Ezekiel 22

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

Now, you son of man, will you judge, will you judge the bloody city? yea, you shall show her all her abominations.മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ ന്യായംവിധിക്കുമോ? രക്തപാതകമുള്ള പട്ടണത്തെ നീ ന്യായംവിധിക്കുമോ? എന്നാൽ നീ അതിന്റെ സകലമ്ളേച്ഛതകളെയും അതിനോടു അറിയിച്ചു പറയേണ്ടതു:

Then say you, Thus says the Lord GOD, The city sheds blood in the midst of it, that her time may come, and makes idols against herself to defile herself.യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നിന്റെ കാലം വരുവൻ തക്കവണ്ണം നിന്റെ നടുവിൽ രക്തം ചൊരിഞ്ഞു നിന്നെത്തന്നേ മലിനമാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്ന നഗരമേ!

You are become guilty in your blood that you have shed; and have defiled yourself in yours idols which you have made; and you have caused your days to draw near, and are come even unto your years: therefore have I made you a reproach unto the heathen, and a mocking to all countries.നീ ചൊരിഞ്ഞ രക്തത്താൽ നീ കുറ്റക്കാരത്തിയായ്തീർന്നു; നീ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്ന വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളാൽ നീ നിന്നെത്തന്നേ മലിനമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ നാളുകളെ നീ സമീപിക്കുമാറാക്കി; നിന്റെ ആണ്ടുകൾ നിനക്കു വന്നെത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ജാതികൾക്കു നിന്ദയും സകലദേശങ്ങൾക്കും പരിഹാസവിഷയവും ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

Those that be near, and those that be far from you, shall mock you, which are ill repute and much vexed.നിനക്കു സമീപസ്ഥന്മാരും ദൂരസ്ഥന്മാരും ആയിരിക്കുന്നവർ ദുഷ്കീർത്തിയും ബഹുതുമുലവും ഉള്ള നിന്നെ പരിഹസിക്കും.

Behold, the princes of Israel, every one were in you to their power to shed blood.യിസ്രായേൽപ്രഭുക്കന്മാർ ഓരോരുത്തനും തന്നാൽ കഴിയുന്നെടത്തോളം രക്തം ചൊരിവാനത്രേ നിന്നിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നതു.

In you have they set light by father and mother: in the midst of you have they dealt by oppression with the stranger: in you have they vexed the fatherless and the widow.നിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യേ അവർ അപ്പനെയും അമ്മയെയും പുച്ഛിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യേ അവർ പരദേശിയെ പീഡിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; നിന്നിൽവെച്ചു അവർ അനാഥനെയും വിധവയെയും ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്നു.

You have despised mine holy things, and have profaned my sabbaths.എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധ വസ്തുക്കളെ നീ ധിക്കരിച്ചു എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകളെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുന്നു.

In you are men that carry tales to shed blood: and in you they eat upon the mountains: in the midst of you they commit lewdness.രക്തം ചൊരിയേണ്ടതിന്നു ഏഷണി പറയുന്നവർ നിന്നിൽ ഉണ്ടു; പൂജാഗിരികളിൽ ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കുന്നവർ നിന്നിൽ ഉണ്ടു; നിന്റെ നടുവിൽ അവർ ദുഷ്കർമ്മം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു.

In you have they discovered their fathers' nakedness: in you have they humbled her that was set apart for pollution.നിന്നിൽ അവർ അപ്പന്റെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കുന്നു; നിന്നിൽവെച്ചു അവർ ഋതുമാലിന്യത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നവളെ വഷളാക്കുന്നു.

And one has committed abomination with his neighbour's wife; and another has lewdly defiled his daughter in law; and another in you has humbled his sister, his father's daughter.ഒരുത്തൻ തന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ ഭാര്യയുമായി മ്ളേച്ഛത പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു; മറ്റൊരുത്തൻ തന്റെ മരുമകളെ ദുർമ്മര്യാദ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു മലിനയാക്കുന്നു; വേറൊരുത്തൻ നിന്നിൽവെച്ചു തന്റെ അപ്പന്റെ മകളായ സഹോദരിയെ വഷളാക്കുന്നു.

In you have they taken gifts to shed blood; you have taken interest and increase, and you have greedily gained of your neighbours by extortion, and have forgotten me, says the Lord GOD.രക്തംചൊരിയേണ്ടതിന്നു അവർ നിന്നിൽ കൈക്കൂലി വാങ്ങുന്നു; പലിശയും ലാഭവും വാങ്ങി നീ കൂട്ടുകാരെ ഞെരുക്കി സമ്പാദ്യമുണ്ടാക്കി എന്നെ മറന്നുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

Behold, therefore I have smitten mine hand at your dishonest gain which you have made, and at your blood which has been in the midst of you.നീ സമ്പാദിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ലാഭത്തെയും നിന്റെ നടുവിലുണ്ടായ രക്തപാതകത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു ഞാൻ കൈകൊട്ടും:

Can yours heart endure, or can yours hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with you? I the LORD have spoken it, and will do it.ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു കാര്യം തീർക്കുന്ന നാളിൽ നീ ധൈര്യത്തോടെ നില്ക്കുമോ? നിന്റെ കൈകൾ ബലപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുമോ? യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ അതു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ നിവൃത്തിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

And I will scatter you among the heathen, and disperse you in the countries, and will consume your filthiness out of you.ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ചിന്നിച്ചു രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ ചിതറിച്ചു നിന്റെ മലിനത നിങ്കൽനിന്നു നീക്കും.

And you shall take yours inheritance in yourself in the sight of the heathen, and you shall know that I am the LORD.ജാതികൾ കാൺകെ നീ നിന്നിൽത്തന്നേ മലിനയായ്തീരും; ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്നു നീ അറിയും.

And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

Son of man, the house of Israel is to me become dross: all they are brass, and tin, and iron, and lead, in the midst of the furnace; they are even the dross of silver.മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹം എനിക്കു കിട്ടുമായ്തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; അവരെല്ലാവരും ഉലയുടെ നടുവിൽ താമ്രവും വെളുത്തീയവും ഇരിമ്പും കറുത്തീയവും തന്നെ; അവർ വെള്ളിയുടെ കിട്ടമായ്തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു;

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Because all of you are all become dross, behold, therefore I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem.അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും കിട്ടമായ്തീർന്നിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ നടുവിൽ കൂട്ടും.

As they gather silver, and brass, and iron, and lead, and tin, into the midst of the furnace, to blow the fire upon it, to melt it; so will I gather you in mine anger and in my fury, and I will leave you there, and melt you.വെള്ളിയും താമ്രവും ഇരിമ്പും കറുത്തീയവും വെളുത്തീയവും ഉലയുടെ നടുവിൽ ഇട്ടു ഊതി ഉരുക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ഞാൻ എന്റെ കോപത്തിലും എന്റെ ക്രോധത്തിലും നിങ്ങളെയും കൂട്ടിയുരുക്കും.

Yea, I will gather you, and blow upon you in the fire of my wrath, and all of you shall be melted in the midst thereof.ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ കൂട്ടി എന്റെ ക്രോധാഗ്നിയെ നിങ്ങളുടെ മേൽ ഊതും; അങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങൾ അതിന്റെ നടുവിൽ ഉരുകിപ്പോകും.

As silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so shall all of you be melted in the midst thereof; and all of you shall know that I the LORD have poured out my fury upon you.ഉലയുടെ നടുവിൽ വെള്ളി ഉരുകിപ്പോകുന്നതു പോലെ, നിങ്ങൾ അതിന്റെ നടുവിൽ ഉരുകിപ്പോകും; യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ എന്റെ ക്രോധം നിങ്ങളുടെമേൽ പകർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും.

And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

Son of man, say unto her, You are the land that is not cleansed, nor rained upon in the day of indignation.മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ അതിനോടു പറയേണ്ടതു: ക്രോധദിവസത്തിൽ നീ ശുദ്ധിയില്ലാത്തതും മഴയില്ലാത്തതുമായ ദേശമായിരിക്കും.

²⁵

There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof.അതിന്റെ നടുവിൽ അതിലെ പ്രവാചകന്മാരുടെ ഒരു കൂട്ടുകെട്ടുണ്ടു; അലറി ഇര കടിച്ചുകീറുന്ന ഒരു സിംഹംപോലെ അവർ ദേഹികളെ വിഴുങ്ങിക്കളയുന്നു; നിക്ഷേപങ്ങളെയും വലിയേറിയ വസ്തുക്കളെയും അപഹരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു അവർ അതിന്റെ നടുവിൽ വിധവമാരെ വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they showed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.അതിലെ പുരോഹിതന്മാർ എന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തോടു ദ്രോഹം ചെയ്തു എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധവസ്തുക്കളെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുന്നു; അവർ ശുദ്ധവും അശുദ്ധവും തമ്മിൽ വേറുതിരിക്കുന്നില്ല; മലിനവും നിർമ്മലിനവും തമ്മിലുള്ള ഭേദം കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്നതുമില്ല; ഞാൻ അവരുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ അശുദ്ധനായി ഭവിക്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം അവർ എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകളെ നോക്കാതെ കണ്ണു മറെച്ചുകളയുന്നു.

Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain.അതിന്റെ നടുവിലെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാർ ലാഭം ഉണ്ടാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഇര കടിച്ചുകീറുന്ന ചെന്നായ്ക്കളെപ്പോലെ രക്തം ചൊരിവാനും ദേഹികളെ നശിപ്പിപ്പാനും നോക്കുന്നു.

And her prophets have daubed them with plaster, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus says the Lord GOD, when the LORD has not spoken.അതിലെ പ്രവാചകന്മാർ വ്യാജം ദർശിച്ചും കള്ളപ്രശ്നം പറഞ്ഞും യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യാതിരിക്കെ, യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞുംകൊണ്ടു അവർക്കു കുമ്മായം തേക്കുന്നു.

The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery, and have vexed the poor and needy: yea, they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully.ദേശത്തിലെ ജനം ഞെരുക്കം ചെയ്കയും പിടിച്ചുപറിക്കയും എളിയവനെയും ദരിദ്രനെയും ഉപദ്രവിക്കയും പരദേശിയെ അന്യായമായി പീഡിപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.ഞാൻ ദേശത്തെ നശിപ്പിക്കാതവണ്ണം അതിന്നു മതിൽ കെട്ടി എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ ഇടിവിൽ നിൽക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഒരു പുരുഷനെ ഞാൻ അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ അന്വേഷിച്ചു; ആരെയും കണ്ടില്ലതാനും.

Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, says the Lord GOD.ആകയാൽ ഞാൻ എന്റെ ക്രോധം അവരുടെമേൽ പകർന്നു എന്റെ കോപാഗ്നികൊണ്ടു അവരെ മുടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ നടപ്പിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം ഞാൻ അവർക്കു പകരം കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

Ezekiel 23

The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother:മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഒരമ്മയുടെ മക്കളായ രണ്ടു സ്ത്രീകൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

And they committed whoredoms in Egypt; they committed whoredoms in their youth: there were their breasts pressed, and there they bruised the teats of their virginity.അവർ മിസ്രയീമിൽവെച്ചു പരസംഗംചെയ്തു; യൌവനത്തിൽ തന്നേ അവർ പരസംഗം ചെയ്തു; അവിടെ അവരുടെ മുല പിടിച്ചു അവരുടെ കന്യാകുചാഗ്രം ഞെക്കി.

And the names of them were Aholah the elder, and Aholibah her sister: and they were mine, and they bare sons and daughters. Thus were their names; Samaria is Aholah, and Jerusalem Aholibah.അവരിൽ മൂത്തവൾക്കു ഒഹൊലാ എന്നും ഇളയവർക്കു ഒഹൊലീബാ എന്നു പേരായിരുന്നു; അവർ എനിക്കുള്ളവരായിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും പ്രസവിച്ചു; അവരുടെ പേരോ ഒഹൊലാ എന്നതു ശമർയ്യയും ഒഹൊലീബാ എന്നതു യെരൂശലേമും ആകുന്നു.

And Aholah played the harlot when she was mine; and she doted on her lovers, on the Assyrians her neighbours,എന്നാൽ ഒഹൊലാ എന്നെ വിട്ടു പരസംഗം ചെയ്തു;

Which were clothed with blue, captains and rulers, all of them desirable young men, horsemen riding upon horses.അവൾ ധൂമ്രവസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ച ദേശാധിപതികളും സ്ഥാനാപതികളും ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ മനോഹരയുവാക്കളും കുതിരപ്പുറത്തു കയറി ഓടിക്കുന്നവരുമായ സമീപസ്ഥരായ അശ്ശൂർയ്യജാരന്മാരെ മോഹിച്ചു.

Thus she committed her whoredoms with them, with all them that were the chosen men of Assyria, and with all on whom she doted: with all their idols she defiled herself.അശ്ശൂർയ്യശ്രേഷ്ഠന്മാരായവരോടു ഒക്കെയും തന്റെ വേശ്യാവിദ്യകളെ ചെലവഴിച്ചു, താൻ മോഹിച്ചുപോന്ന ഏവരുടെയും സകലവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ടും തന്നെത്താൻ മലിനയാക്കി.

Neither left she her whoredoms brought from Egypt: for in her youth they lay with her, and they bruised the breasts of her virginity, and poured their whoredom upon her.മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന തന്റെ വേശ്യാവൃത്തിയും അവൾ വിട്ടില്ല; അവർ അവളുടെ യൌവനത്തിൽ അവളോടുകൂടെ ശയിച്ചു, അവളുടെ കന്യാകുചാഗ്രം ഞെക്കി തങ്ങളുടെ പരസംഗം അവളുടെമേൽ ചൊരിഞ്ഞു.

Wherefore I have delivered her into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the Assyrians, upon whom she doted.അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ അവളെ അവളുടെ ജാരന്മാരുടെ കയ്യിൽ, അവൾ മോഹിച്ചിരുന്ന അശ്ശൂർയ്യരുടെ കയ്യിൽതന്നേ, ഏല്പിച്ചു.

These discovered her nakedness: they took her sons and her daughters, and slew her with the sword: and she became famous among women; for they had executed judgment upon her.അവർ അവളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കി, അവളുടെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും പിടിക്കയും അവളെ വാൾകൊണ്ടു കൊല്ലുകയും ചെയ്തു; അവർ അവളുടെമേൽ വിധി നടത്തിയതുകൊണ്ടു അവൾ സ്ത്രീകളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഒരു നിന്ദാപാത്രമായിത്തീർന്നു.

And when her sister Aholibah saw this, she was more corrupt in her inordinate love than she, and in her whoredoms more than her sister in her whoredoms.എന്നാൽ അവളുടെ സഹോദരിയായ ഒഹൊലീബാ ഇതു കണ്ടിട്ടും തന്റെ കാമവികാരത്തിൽ അവളെക്കാളും തന്റെ വേശ്യാവൃത്തിയിൽ സഹോദരിയുടെ വേശ്യവൃത്തിയെക്കാളും അധികം വഷളത്വം പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു.

She doted upon the Assyrians her neighbours, captains and rulers clothed most gorgeously, horsemen riding upon horses, all of them desirable young men.മോടിയായി ഉടുത്തുചമഞ്ഞ ദേശാധിപതികളും സ്ഥാനാപതികളും കുതിരപ്പുറത്തു കയറി ഓടിക്കുന്നവരും ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ മനോഹരയുവാക്കളുമായ സമീപസ്ഥരായ അശ്ശൂർയ്യരെ മോഹിച്ചു,

Then I saw that she was defiled, that they took both one way,അവളും തന്നെത്താൻ മലിനയാക്കി എന്നു ഞാൻ കണ്ടു; ഇരുവരും ഒരു വഴിയിൽ തന്നേ നടന്നു.

And that she increased her whoredoms: for when she saw men portrayed upon the wall, the images of the Chaldeans portrayed with vermilion,അവൾ പിന്നെയും പരസംഗം ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; ചായില്യംകൊണ്ടു എഴുതിയ കല്ദയരുടെ ചിത്രങ്ങളെ,

Girded with girdles upon their loins, exceeding in dyed attire upon their heads, all of them princes to look to, after the manner of the Babylonians of Chaldea, the land of their nativity:കല്ദയദേശം ജന്മഭൂമിയായുള്ള ബാബേൽക്കാരുടെ രൂപത്തിൽ അരെക്കു കച്ചകെട്ടി തലയിൽ തലപ്പാവു ചുറ്റി കാഴ്ചെക്കു ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരായിരിക്കുന്ന പുരുഷന്മാരുടെ ചിത്രങ്ങളെ തന്നേ ചുവരിന്മേൽ വരെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതു അവൾ കണ്ടു.

And as soon as she saw them with her eyes, she doted upon them, and sent messengers unto them into Chaldea.കണ്ട ഉടനെ അവൾ അവരെ മോഹിച്ചു, കല്ദയദേശത്തിലേക്കു അവരുടെ അടുക്കൽ ദൂതന്മാരെ അയച്ചു.

And the Babylonians came to her into the bed of love, and they defiled her with their whoredom, and she was polluted with them, and her mind was alienated from them.അങ്ങനെ ബാബേൽക്കാർ പ്രേമശയനത്തിന്നായി അവളുടെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു പരസംഗംകൊണ്ടു അവളെ മലിനയാക്കി; അവൾ അവരാൽ മലിനയായ്തീർന്നു; പിന്നെ അവൾക്കു അവരോടു വെറുപ്പുതോന്നി.

So she discovered her whoredoms, and discovered her nakedness: then my mind was alienated from her, like my mind was alienated from her sister.ഇങ്ങനെ അവൾ തന്റെ പരസംഗം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തി തന്റെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കിയപ്പോൾ എനിക്കു അവളുടെ സഹോദരിയോടു വെറുപ്പു തോന്നിയതുപോലെ അവളോടും വെറുപ്പു തോന്നി.

Yet she multiplied her whoredoms, in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, wherein she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt.എന്നിട്ടും അവൾ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുവെച്ചു പരസംഗം ചെയ്ത തന്റെ യൌവനകാലം ഓർത്തു പരസംഗം വർദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു.

For she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of asses, and whose issue is like the issue of horses.കഴുതകളുടെ ലിംഗംപോലെ ലിംഗവും കുതിരകളുടെ ബീജസ്രവണംപോലെ ബീജസ്രവണവും ഉള്ള ജാരന്മാരെ അവൾ മോഹിച്ചു.

Thus you called to remembrance the lewdness of your youth, in bruising your teats by the Egyptians for the breast of your youth.ഇങ്ങനെ നിന്റെ യൌവനസ്തനങ്ങൾ നിമിത്തം മിസ്രയീമ്യർ നിന്റെ കുജാഗ്രങ്ങളെ ഞെക്കിയതായ നിന്റെ യൌവനത്തിലെ ദുഷ്കർമ്മം നീ തിരിഞ്ഞുനോക്കി.

Therefore, O Aholibah, thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I will raise up your lovers against you, from whom your mind is alienated, and I will bring them against you on every side;അതുകൊണ്ടു ഒഹൊലീബയേ, യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ബാബേൽക്കാർ, കല്ദയർ ഒക്കെയും, പെക്കോദ്യർ, ശോവ്യർ,

The Babylonians, and all the Chaldeans, Pekod, and Shoa, and Koa, and all the Assyrians with them: all of them desirable young men, captains and rulers, great lords and renowned, all of them riding upon horses.കോവ്യർ, അശ്ശൂർയ്യർ ഒക്കെയും എന്നിങ്ങനെ മനോഹരയുവാക്കളും ദേശാധിപതികളും സ്ഥാനാപതികളും ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും വിശ്രുതന്മാരും കുതിരപ്പുറത്തു കയറി ഓടിക്കുന്നവരുമായി, നിനക്കു വെറുപ്പു തോന്നിയിരിക്കുന്ന നിന്റെ ജാരന്മാരെ ഞാൻ നിനക്കു വിരോധമായി ഉണർത്തി ചുറ്റും നിന്റെ നേരെ വരുത്തും.

And they shall come against you with chariots, wagons, and wheels, and with an assembly of people, which shall set against you buckler and shield and helmet round about: and I will set judgment before them, and they shall judge you according to their judgments.അവർ അനവധി രഥങ്ങളും വണ്ടികളും ഒരു ജനസമൂഹവുമായി നിന്റെ നേരെ വരും; അവർ പരിചയും പലകയും പിടിച്ചു തലക്കോരിക ഇട്ടുംകൊണ്ടു നിന്നെ വന്നു വളയും; ഞാൻ ന്യായവിധി അവർക്കു ഭരമേല്പിക്കും; അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ന്യായങ്ങൾക്കു അനുസാരമായി നിന്നെ ന്യായം വിധിക്കും.

And I will set my jealousy against you, and they shall deal furiously with you: they shall take away your nose and yours ears; and your remnant shall fall by the sword: they shall take your sons and your daughters; and your residue shall be devoured by the fire.ഞാൻ എന്റെ തീക്ഷ്ണത നിന്റെ നേരെ പ്രയോഗിക്കും; അവർ ക്രോധത്തോടെ നിന്നോടു പെരുമാറും; അവർ നിന്റെ മൂക്കും ചെവിയും ചെത്തിക്കളയും; നിനക്കു ശേഷിപ്പുള്ളവർ വാൾകൊണ്ടു വീഴും; അവർ നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോകും; നിനക്കു ശേഷിപ്പുള്ളവർ തീക്കിരയാകും.

They shall also strip you out of your clothes, and take away your fair jewels.അവർ നിന്റെ വസ്ത്രം ഉരിഞ്ഞു ആഭരണങ്ങളെ എടുത്തുകളയും.

Thus will I make your lewdness to cease from you, and your whoredom brought from the land of Egypt: so that you shall not lift up yours eyes unto them, nor remember Egypt any more.ഇങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ ദുർമ്മര്യാദയും, മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന നിന്റെ വേശ്യാവൃത്തിയും നിർത്തലാക്കും; നീ ഇനി അവരെ തലപൊക്കി നോക്കുകയില്ല, മിസ്രയീമിനെ ഓർക്കുകയുമില്ല.

For thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I will deliver you into the hand of them whom you hate, into the hand of them from whom your mind is alienated:യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ നിന്നെ നീ പകെക്കുന്നവരുടെ കയ്യിൽ, നിനക്കു വെറുപ്പു തോന്നുന്നവരുടെ കയ്യിൽ തന്നേ ഏല്പിക്കും.

And they shall deal with you hatefully, and shall take away all your labour, and shall leave you naked and bare: and the nakedness of your whoredoms shall be discovered, both your lewdness and your whoredoms.അവർ പകയോടെ നിന്നോടു പെരുമാറി നിന്റെ സമ്പാദ്യം ഒക്കെയും എടുത്തു, നിന്നെ നഗ്നയും അനാവൃതയും ആക്കിവിടും; അങ്ങനെ നിന്റെ വേശ്യാവൃത്തിയുടെ നഗ്നതയും നിന്റെ ദുർമ്മര്യാദയും പരസംഗങ്ങളും വെളിപ്പെട്ടുവരും.

I will do these things unto you, because you have gone a whoring after the heathen, and because you are polluted with their idols.നീ ജാതികളോടു ചേന്നു പരസംഗം ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടും അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളാൽ നിന്നെത്തന്നേ മലിനയാക്കിയതുകൊണ്ടും ഇതു നിനക്കു ഭവിക്കും.

You have walked in the way of your sister; therefore will I give her cup into yours hand.നീ സഹോദരിയുടെ വഴിയിൽ നടന്നതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ അവളുടെ പാനപാത്രം നിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ തരും.

Thus says the Lord GOD; You shall drink of your sister's cup deep and large: you shall be laughed to scorn and had in derision; it contains much.യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നീ സഹോദരിയുടെ കുഴിയും വട്ടവും ഉള്ള പാനപാത്രത്തിൽനിന്നു കുടിച്ചു നിന്ദെക്കും പരിഹാസത്തിന്നും വിഷയമായ്തീരും; അതിൽ വളരെ കൊള്ളുമല്ലോ.

You shall be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, with the cup of astonishment and desolation, with the cup of your sister Samaria.സ്തംഭനവും ശൂന്യതയുമുള്ള പാനപാത്രമായി നിന്റെ സഹോദരി ശമർയ്യരുടെ പാനപാത്രമായ ലഹരിയും ദുഃഖവുംകൊണ്ടു നീ നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

You shall even drink it and suck it out, and you shall break the earthen ware thereof, and pluck off yours own breasts: for I have spoken it, says the Lord GOD.നീ അതു കുടിച്ചു വറ്റിച്ചു ഉടെച്ചു കഷണങ്ങളെ നക്കി നിന്റെ മുലകളെ കീറിക്കളയും; ഞാൻ അതു കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

³⁵

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Because you have forgotten me, and cast me behind your back, therefore bear you also your lewdness and your whoredoms.ആകയാൽ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നീ എന്നെ മറന്നു എന്നെ നിന്റെ പിറകിൽ എറിഞ്ഞുകളകകൊണ്ടു നീ നിന്റെ ദുർമ്മര്യാദയും പരസംഗവും വഹിക്ക.

³⁶

The LORD said moreover unto me; Son of man, will you judge Aholah and Aholibah? yea, declare unto them their abominations;പിന്നെയും യഹോവ എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു: മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ ഒഹൊലയെയും ഒഹൊലീബയെയും ന്യായംവിധിക്കുമോ? എന്നാൽ അവരുടെ മ്ളേച്ഛതകളെ അവരോടു അറിയിക്ക.

³⁷

That they have committed adultery, and blood is in their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery, and have also caused their sons, whom they bare unto me, to pass for them through the fire, to devour them.അവർ വ്യഭിചാരം ചെയ്തു, അവരുടെ കയ്യിൽ രക്തം ഉണ്ടു; തങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളോടു അവർ വ്യഭിചാരം ചെയ്തു; അവർ എനിക്കു പ്രസവിച്ച മക്കളെ അവെക്കു ഭോജനമായി അഗ്നിപ്രവേശം ചെയ്യിച്ചു.

Moreover this they have done unto me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my sabbaths.ഒന്നുകൂടെ അവർ എന്നോടു ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു: അന്നാളിൽ തന്നേ അവർ എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തെ തീണ്ടിച്ചു എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകളെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കി.

For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and, lo, thus have they done in the midst of mine house.അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾക്കു വേണ്ടി കൊന്ന ശേഷം അന്നു തന്നേ അവർ എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അതിലേക്കു വന്നു; ഇങ്ങനെയത്രേ അവർ എന്റെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ നടുവിൽ ചെയ്തതു.

And furthermore, that all of you have sent for men to come from far, unto whom a messenger was sent; and, lo, they came: for whom you did wash yourself, painted your eyes, and decked yourself with ornaments,ഇതുകൂടാതെ ദൂരത്തുനിന്നു വന്ന പുരുഷന്മാർക്കു അവർ ആളയച്ചു; ഒരു ദൂതൻ അവരുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്ന ഉടനെ അവർ വന്നു; അവർക്കു വേണ്ടി നീ കുളിച്ചു, കണ്ണിൽ മഷി എഴുതി, ആഭരണം അണിഞ്ഞു,

And sat upon a stately bed, and a table prepared before it, whereupon you have set mine incense and mine oil.ഭംഗിയുള്ളോരു കട്ടിലിന്മേൽ ഇരുന്നു, അതിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ ഒരു മേശ ഒരുക്കി, അതിന്മേൽ എന്റെ കുന്തുരുക്കവും എണ്ണയും വെച്ചു;

And a voice of a multitude being at ease was with her: and with the men of the common sort were brought Sabeans from the wilderness, which put bracelets upon their hands, and beautiful crowns upon their heads.നിർഭയമായിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു പുരുഷാരത്തിന്റെ ഘോഷം അവളോടു കൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; ജനസമൂഹത്തിലെ പുരുഷന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കൽ അവർ ആളയച്ചു, മരുഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നു കുടിയന്മാരെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; അവർ അവരുടെ കൈക്കു വളയിടുകയും തലയിൽ ഭംഗിയുള്ള കിരീടങ്ങൾ വെക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

Then said I unto her that was old in adulteries, Will they now commit whoredoms with her, and she with them?അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ: കിഴവിയായവൾ വ്യഭിചാരം ചെയ്യും; ഇപ്പോൾ അവർ അവളോടും അവൾ അവരോടും പരസംഗം ചെയ്യും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

⁴⁴

Yet they went in unto her, as they go in unto a woman that plays the harlot: so went they in unto Aholah and unto Aholibah, the lewd women.അങ്ങനെ വേശ്യയുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെല്ലുന്നതുപോലെ അവർ അവളുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു; അതെ അവർ കാമുകികളായ ഒഹൊലയുടെ അടുക്കലും ഒഹൊലീബയുടെ അടുക്കലും ചെന്നു.

⁴⁵

And the righteous men, they shall judge them after the manner of adulteresses, and after the manner of women that shed blood; because they are adulteresses, and blood is in their hands.എന്നാൽ നീതിമാന്മാരായ പുരുഷന്മാർ വ്യഭിചാരിണികൾക്കു തക്ക ന്യായപ്രകാരവും രക്തപാതകികൾക്കു തക്ക ന്യായപ്രകാരവും അവരെ ന്യായം വിധിക്കും; അവർ വ്യഭിചാരിണികളല്ലോ; അവരുകട കയ്യിൽ രക്തവും ഉണ്ടു.

For thus says the Lord GOD; I will bring up a company upon them, and will give them to be removed and spoiled.യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ അവരുടെ നേരെ ഒരു സഭ കൂട്ടി അവരെ പരിഭ്രമത്തിന്നും കവർച്ചെക്കും ഏല്പിക്കും.

And the company shall stone them with stones, and dispatch them with their swords; they shall slay their sons and their daughters, and burn up their houses with fire.ആ സഭ അവരെ കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞു വാൾകൊണ്ടു വെട്ടിക്കളയും; അവരുടെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും അവർ കൊന്നു അവരുടെ വീടുകളെ തീവെച്ചു ചുട്ടുകളയും.

⁴⁸

Thus will I cause lewdness to cease out of the land, that all women may be taught not to do after your lewdness.ഇങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദുർമ്മര്യാദപോലെ ചെയ്യാതിരിപ്പാൻ സകലസ്ത്രീകളുടെ ഒരു പാഠം പഠിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ ദുർമ്മര്യാദ ദേശത്തുനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയും.

⁴⁹

And they shall recompense your lewdness upon you, and all of you shall bear the sins of your idols: and all of you shall know that I am the Lord GOD.അങ്ങനെ അവർ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദുർമ്മര്യാദെക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം നിങ്ങൾക്കു പകരം ചെയ്യും; നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങളെ ചുമക്കേണ്ടിവരും; ഞാൻ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും.

Ezekiel 24

Again in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,ഒമ്പതാം ആണ്ടു പത്താം മാസം, പത്താം തിയ്യതി യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

Son of man, write you the name of the day, even of this same day: the king of Babylon set himself against Jerusalem this same day.മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഈ തിയ്യതി ഇന്നത്തെ തിയ്യതി തന്നേ, എഴുതിവെക്കുക; ഇന്നുതന്നേ ബാബേൽരാജാവു യെരൂശലേമിനെ ആക്രമിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus says the Lord GOD; Set on a pot, set it on, and also pour water into it:നീ മത്സരഗൃഹത്തോടു ഒരു ഉപമ പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു പറയേണ്ടതു: യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നീ ഒരു കുട്ടകം അടുപ്പത്തു വെക്ക; വെച്ചു അതിൽ വെള്ളം ഒഴിക്ക.

Gather the pieces thereof into it, even every good piece, the thigh, and the shoulder; fill it with the choice bones.മാംസകഷണങ്ങൾ, തുട കൈക്കുറകു മുതലായ നല്ല കഷണങ്ങൾ ഒക്കെയും തന്നേ എടുത്തു അതിൽ ഇടുക; ഉത്തമമായ അസ്ഥിഖണ്ഡങ്ങൾകൊണ്ടു അതിനെ നിറെക്കുക.

Take the choice of the flock, and burn also the bones under it, and make it boil well, and let them seethe the bones of it therein.ആട്ടിൻ കൂട്ടത്തിൽനിന്നു വിശേഷമായതിനെ പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുവന്നു, അതിന്റെ കീഴെ വിറകു അടുക്കി അതിനെ നല്ലവണ്ണം പുഴുങ്ങുക; അതിന്റെ അസ്ഥികൾ അതിന്നകത്തു കിടന്നു വേകട്ടെ.

Wherefore thus says the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose scum is therein, and whose scum is not gone out of it! bring it out piece by piece; let no lot fall upon it.അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: അകത്തു ക്ളാവുള്ളതും ക്ളാവു വീട്ടുപോകാത്തതുമായ കുട്ടുകത്തിന്നു, രക്തപാതകമുള്ള നഗരത്തിന്നു തന്നേ, അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! അതിനെ ഖണ്ഡംഖണ്ഡമായി പുറത്തെടുക്ക; ചീട്ടു അതിന്മേൽ വീണിട്ടില്ല.

For her blood is in the midst of her; she set it upon the top of a rock; she poured it not upon the ground, to cover it with dust;അവൾ ചൊരിങ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന രക്തം അവളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ ഉണ്ടു; അവൾ അതു വെറും പാറമേലത്രേ ചൊരിഞ്ഞതു; മണ്ണുകൊണ്ടു മൂടുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം അതു നിലത്തു ഒഴിച്ചില്ല.

That it might cause fury to come up to take vengeance; I have set her blood upon the top of a rock, that it should not be covered.ക്രോധം വരുത്തേണ്ടതിന്നും പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നും ഞാൻ, അവൾ ചൊരിഞ്ഞ രക്തം മൂടിപ്പോകാതവണ്ണം അതിനെ വെറും പാറമേൽ തന്നേ നിർത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city! I will even make the pile for fire great.അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: രക്തപാതകങ്ങളുടെ നഗരത്തിന്നു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! ഞാൻ വിറകുകൂമ്പാരം വലുതാക്കും.

Heap on wood, kindle the fire, consume the flesh, and spice it well, and let the bones be burned.വിറകു കൂട്ടുക; തീ കത്തിക്ക; മാംസം വേകട്ടെ; ചാറു കുറുകട്ടെ; അസ്ഥികൾ വെന്തുപോകട്ടെ.

Then set it empty upon the coals thereof, that the brass of it may be hot, and may burn, and that the filthiness of it may be molten in it, that the scum of it may be consumed.അതിന്റെ താമ്രം കാഞ്ഞു വെന്തുപോകേണ്ടതിന്നു അതിന്റെ കറ അതിൽ ഉരുകേണ്ടതിന്നും അതിന്റെ ക്ളാവു ഇല്ലാതെയാകേണ്ടതിന്നും അതു ഒഴിച്ചെടുത്തു കനലിന്മേൽ വെക്കുക.

She has wearied herself with lies, and her great scum went not forth out of her: her scum shall be in the fire.അവൾ അദ്ധ്വാനംകൊണ്ടു തളർന്നുപോയി; അവളുടെ കനത്ത ക്ളാവു അവളെ വിട്ടുപോകുന്നില്ല. അവളുടെ ക്ളാവു തീയാലും വിട്ടുപോകുന്നില്ല.

In your filthiness is lewdness: because I have purged you, and you were not purged, you shall not be purged from your filthiness any more, till I have caused my fury to rest upon you.നിന്റെ മലിനമായ ദുർമ്മര്യാദനിമിത്തം ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചിട്ടും നീ ശുദ്ധമാകായ്കയാൽ ഞാൻ എന്റെ ക്രോധം നിന്റെമേൽ തീർക്കുവോളം ഇനി നിന്റെ മലിനത നീങ്ങി നീ ശുദ്ധയായ്തീരുകയില്ല.

I the LORD have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to your ways, and according to your doings, shall they judge you, says the Lord GOD.യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ അതു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അതു സംഭവിക്കും; ഞാൻ അതു അനുഷ്ഠിക്കും; ഞാൻ പിന്മാറുകയില്ല, ആദരിക്കയില്ല, സഹതപിക്കയുമില്ല, നിന്റെ നടപ്പിന്നും ക്രിയകൾക്കും തക്കവണ്ണം അവർ നിന്നെ ന്യായം വിധിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

Also the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

Son of man, behold, I take away from you the desire of yours eyes with a stroke: yet neither shall you mourn nor weep, neither shall your tears run down.മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഞാൻ നിന്റെ കണ്ണിന്റെ ആനന്ദമായവളെ ഒരേ അടിയാൽ നിങ്കൽനിന്നു എടുത്തുകളയും; നീ വിലപിക്കയോ കരകയോ കണ്ണുനീർ വാർക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യരുതു.

Forbear to cry, make no mourning for the dead, bind the head decoration of yours head upon you, and put on your shoes upon your feet, and cover not your lips, and eat not the bread of men.നീ മൌനമായി നെടുവീർപ്പിട്ടുകൊൾക; മൃതവിലാപം കഴിക്കരുതു; തലെക്കു തലപ്പാവു കെട്ടി കാലിന്നു ചെരിപ്പിടുക; അധരം മൂടരുതു; മറ്റുള്ളവർ കൊടുത്തയക്കുന്ന അപ്പം തിന്നുകയും അരുതു.

So I spoke unto the people in the morning: and at even my wife died; and I did in the morning as I was commanded.അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ രാവിലെ ജനത്തോടു സംസാരിച്ചു; വൈകുന്നേരത്തു എന്റെ ഭാര്യ മരിച്ചു; എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഞാൻ പിറ്റെ രാവിലെ ചെയ്തു.

And the people said unto me, Will you not tell us what these things are to us, that you do so?അപ്പോൾ ജനം എന്നോടു: നീ ഈ ചെയ്യുന്നതിന്റെ അർത്ഥം എന്തു? ഞങ്ങൾക്കു പറഞ്ഞുതരികയില്ലയോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

Then I answered them, The word of the LORD came unto me, saying,അതിന്നു ഞാൻ അവരോടു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതു: യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the excellency of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pities; and your sons and your daughters whom all of you have left shall fall by the sword.നീ യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തോടു പറയേണ്ടതു: യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നിങ്ങൾ ഗർവ്വിക്കുന്ന ശരണവും നിങ്ങളുടെ കണ്ണിന്റെ ആനന്ദവും നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിന്റെ വാഞ്ഛയും ആയിരിക്കുന്ന എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തെ ഞാൻ അശുദ്ധമാക്കും; നിങ്ങൾ വിട്ടേച്ചുപോകുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രന്മാരും പുത്രിമാരും വാൾകൊണ്ടു വീഴും.

And all of you shall do as I have done: all of you shall not cover your lips, nor eat the bread of men.ഞാൻ ചെയ്തതു പോലെ നിങ്ങളും അന്നു ചെയ്യും; നിങ്ങൾ അധരം മൂടാതെയും മറ്റുള്ളവർ കൊടുത്തയക്കുന്ന അപ്പം തിന്നാതെയും ഇരിക്കും.

And your tires shall be upon your heads, and your shoes upon your feet: all of you shall not mourn nor weep; but all of you shall pine away for your iniquities, and mourn one toward another.നിങ്ങളുടെ തലപ്പാവു തലയിലും ചെരിപ്പു കാലിലും ഇരിക്കും; നിങ്ങൾ വിലപിക്കയോ കരകയോ ചെയ്യാതെ നിങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങളിൽ തന്നേ ക്ഷയിച്ചു തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ നോക്കി ഞരങ്ങും.

Thus Ezekiel is unto you a sign: according to all that he has done shall all of you do: and when this comes, all of you shall know that I am the Lord GOD.ഇങ്ങനെ യെഹെസ്കേൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഒരടയാളം ആയിരിക്കും; അവൻ ചെയ്തതുപോലെ ഒക്കെയും നിങ്ങളും ചെയ്യും; അതു സംഭവിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും.

Also, you son of man, shall it not be in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that whereupon they set their minds, their sons and their daughters,മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, അവരുടെ ശരണവും അവരുടെ മഹത്വമുള്ള സന്തോഷവും അവരുടെ കണ്ണിന്റെ ആനന്ദവും അവരുടെ ഹൃദയവാഞ്ഛയും ആയിരിക്കുന്നതിനെയും അവരുടെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ഞാൻ അവരിൽനിന്നു എടുത്തുകളയുന്ന നാളിൽ

That he that escapes in that day shall come unto you, to cause you to hear it with yours ears?ആ നാളിൽ തന്നേ, ചാടിപ്പോകുന്ന ഒരുത്തൻ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു വസ്തുത നിന്നെ പറഞ്ഞു കേൾപ്പിക്കും;

In that day shall your mouth be opened to him which is escaped, and you shall speak, and be no more dumb: and you shall be a sign unto them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.ചാടിപ്പോയവനോടു സംസാരിപ്പാൻ അന്നു നിന്റെ വായ് തുറക്കും; നീ ഇനി മൌനമായിരിക്കാതെ സംസാരിക്കും; അങ്ങനെ നീ അവർക്കു ഒരു അടയാളമായിരിക്കും; ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്നു അവർ അറിയും.
