Exodus 31

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു എന്തെന്നാൽ:

See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah:ഇതാ, ഞാൻ യെഹൂദാഗോത്രത്തിൽ ഹൂരിന്റെ മകനായ ഊരിയുടെ മകൻ ബെസലേലിനെ പേർ ചൊല്ലി വിളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,അവൻ കൌശലപ്പണികളെ സങ്കല്പിച്ചു ചെയ്‍വാനും പൊന്നു, വെള്ളി, താമ്രം എന്നിവകൊണ്ടു പണി ചെയ്‍വാനും രത്നം വെട്ടി പതിപ്പാനും

To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,മരത്തിൽ കൊത്തുപണി ചെയ്‍വാനും സകലവിധമായ പണിത്തരം ഉണ്ടാക്കുവാനും ഞാൻ അവനെ

And in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship.ദിവ്യാത്മാവിനാൽ ജ്ഞാനവും ബുദ്ധിയും അറിവും സകലവിധ സാമർത്ഥ്യവും കൊണ്ടു നിറെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

And I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded you;ഞാൻ ദാൻഗോത്രത്തിൽ അഹീസാമാക്കിന്റെ മകനായ ഒഹൊലിയാബിനെ അവനോടുകൂടെ ആക്കുകയും സകല ജ്ഞാനികളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിലും ജ്ഞാനം നല്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതു ഒക്കെയും അവർ ഉണ്ടാക്കും.

The tabernacle of the congregation, and the ark of the testimony, and the mercy seat that is thereupon, and all the furniture of the tabernacle,സമാഗമനക്കുടാരവും സാക്ഷ്യപെട്ടകവും അതിന്മീതെയുള്ള കൃപാസനവും കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളൊക്കെയും

And the table and his furniture, and the pure candlestick with all his furniture, and the altar of incense,മേശയും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളും തങ്കംകൊണ്ടുള്ള നിലവിളക്കും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളൊക്കെയും

And the altar of burnt offering with all his furniture, and the vessel that holds water and his foot,ധൂപപീഠവും ഹോമയാഗപീഠവും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളൊക്കെയും തൊട്ടിയും അതിന്റെ കാലും വിശേഷവസ്ത്രങ്ങളും

And the cloths of service, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office,പുരോഹിതനായ അഹരോന്റെ വിശുദ്ധ വസ്ത്രങ്ങളും പുരോഹിതശുശ്രൂഷെക്കായിട്ടു

And the anointing oil, and sweet incense for the holy place: according to all that I have commanded you shall they do.അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെ വസ്ത്രങ്ങളും അഭിഷേകതൈലവും വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിന്നുള്ള സുഗന്ധധൂപവർഗ്ഗവും ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഒക്കെയും അവർ ഉണ്ടാക്കും.

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു: നീ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകളെ ആചരിക്കേണം. ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്ന യഹോവയാകുന്നു എന്നു അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു അതു തലമുറതലമുറയായി എനിക്കും നിങ്ങൾക്കും മദ്ധ്യേ ഒരു അടയാളം ആകുന്നു.

Speak you also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths all of you shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that all of you may know that I am the LORD that does sanctify you.അതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങൾ ശബ്ബത്ത് ആചരിക്കേണം; അതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു വിശുദ്ധം ആകുന്നു.

All of you shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defiles it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever does any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.അതിനെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുന്നവൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം. ആരെങ്കിലും അന്നു വേല ചെയ്താൽ അവനെ അവന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഇടയിൽനിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം.

Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever does any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.ആറു ദിവസം വേല ചെയ്യേണം; എന്നാൽ ഏഴാം ദിവസം സ്വസ്ഥമായുള്ള ശബ്ബത്തായി യഹോവെക്കു വിശുദ്ധം ആകുന്നു; ആരെങ്കിലും ശബ്ബത്ത് നാളിൽ വേല ചെയ്താൽ അവൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.ആകയാൽ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ തലമുറതലമുറയായി ശബ്ബത്തിനെ നിത്യ നിയമമായിട്ടു ആചരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ശബ്ബത്തിനെ പ്രമാണിക്കേണം.

It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.അതു എനിക്കും യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കും മദ്ധ്യേ എന്നേക്കും ഒരു അടയാളം ആകുന്നു; ആറു ദിവസംകൊണ്ടല്ലോ യഹോവ ആകാശത്തെയും ഭൂമിയെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കിയതു; ഏഴാംദിവസം അവൻ സ്വസ്ഥമായിരുന്നു വിശ്രമിച്ചു.

And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.അവൻ സീനായി പർവ്വതത്തിൽ വെച്ചു മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വിരൽകൊണ്ടു എഴുതിയ കല്പലകകളായ സാക്ഷ്യപലക രണ്ടും അവന്റെ പക്കൽ കൊടുത്തു.

Exodus 32

And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we know not what is become of him.എന്നാൽ മോശെ പർവ്വതത്തിൽനിന്നു ഇറങ്ങിവരുവാൻ താമസിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ജനം കണ്ടപ്പോൾ ജനം അഹരോന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നുകൂടി അവനോടു: നീ എഴുന്നേറ്റു ഞങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ നടക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഒരു ദൈവത്തെ ഉണ്ടാക്കി തരിക; ഞങ്ങളെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന പുരുഷനായ ഈ മോശെക്കു എന്തു ഭവിച്ചു എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നില്ലല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.അഹരോൻ അവരോടു: നിങ്ങളുടെ ഭാര്യമാരുടെയും പുത്രന്മാരുടെയും പുത്രിമാരുടെയും കാതിലെ പൊൻകുണുക്കു പറിച്ചു എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവരുവിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron.ജനം ഒക്കെയും തങ്ങളുടെ കാതിൽ നിന്നു പൊൻകുണുക്കു പറിച്ചു അഹരോന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.

And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be your gods, O Israel, which brought you up out of the land of Egypt.അവൻ അതു അവരുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു വാങ്ങി, ഒരു കൊത്തുളികൊണ്ടു ഭാഷവരുത്തി ഒരു കാളക്കുട്ടിയെ വാർത്തുണ്ടാക്കി. അപ്പോൾ അവർ: യിസ്രായേലേ, ഇതു നിന്നെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന നിന്റെ ദൈവംആകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, Tomorrow is a feast to the LORD.അഹരോൻ അതു കണ്ടാറെ അതിന്നു മുമ്പാകെ ഒരു യാഗപീഠം പണിതു: നാളെ യഹോവെക്കു ഒരു ഉത്സവം എന്നു വിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.

And they rose up early on the next day, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.പിറ്റെന്നാൾ അവർ അതികാലത്തു എഴുന്നേറ്റു ഹോമയാഗങ്ങൾ കഴിച്ചു സമാധാനയാഗങ്ങളും അർപ്പിച്ചു; ജനം ഭക്ഷിപ്പാനും കുടിപ്പാനും ഇരുന്നു കളിപ്പാൻ എഴുന്നേറ്റു.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Go, get you down; for your people, which you brought out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves:അപ്പോൾ യഹോവ മോശെയോടു: നീ ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെല്ലുക; നീ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന നിന്റെ ജനം തങ്ങളെ തന്നേ വഷളാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be your gods, O Israel, which have brought you up out of the land of Egypt.ഞാൻ അവരോടു കല്പിച്ച വഴി അവർ വേഗത്തിൽ വിട്ടുമാറി ഒരു കാളക്കുട്ടിയെ വാർത്തുണ്ടാക്കി നമസ്കരിച്ചു അതിന്നു യാഗം കഴിച്ചു: യിസ്രായേലേ, ഇതു നിന്നെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന നിന്റെ ദൈവം ആകുന്നു എന്നു പറയുന്നു എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stubborn people:ഞാൻ ഈ ജനത്തെ നോക്കി, അതു ദുശ്ശാഠ്യമുള്ള ജനം ആകുന്നു എന്നു കണ്ടു.

Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of you a great nation.അതുകൊണ്ടു എന്റെ കോപം അവർക്കു വിരോധമായി ജ്വലിച്ചു ഞാൻ അവരെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്നെ വിടുക; നിന്നെ ഞാൻ വലിയോരു ജാതിയാക്കും എന്നും യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

And Moses besought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why does your wrath wax hot against your people, which you have brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?എന്നാൽ മോശെ തന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞതു: യഹോവേ, നീ മഹാബലംകൊണ്ടും ഭുജവീര്യംകൊണ്ടും മിസ്രയിംദേശത്തുനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്നു വിരോധമായി നിന്റെ കോപം ജ്വലിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു?

Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from your fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against your people.മലകളിൽവെച്ചു കൊന്നുകളവാനും ഭൂതലത്തിൽനിന്നു നശിപ്പിപ്പാനും അവരെ ദോഷത്തിന്നായി അവൻ കൊണ്ടുപോയി എന്നു മിസ്രയീമ്യരെക്കൊണ്ടു പറയിക്കുന്നതു എന്തിന്നു? നിന്റെ ഉഗ്രകോപം വിട്ടുതിരിഞ്ഞു നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്നു വരുവാനുള്ള ഈ അനർത്ഥത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു അനുതപിക്കേണമേ.

Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, your servants, to whom you sware by yours own self, and said unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever.നിന്റെ ദാസന്മാരായ അബ്രാഹാമിനെയും യിസ്ഹാക്കിനെയും യിസ്രായേലിനെയും ഓർക്കേണമേ. ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ സന്തതിയെ ആകാശത്തിലെ നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കയും ഞാൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത ഈ ദേശം ഒക്കെയും നിങ്ങളുടെ സന്തതിക്കു കൊടുക്കയും അവർ അതിനെ എന്നേക്കും അവകാശമായി പ്രാപിക്കയും ചെയ്യുമെന്നു നീ നിന്നെക്കൊണ്ടു തന്നേ അവരോടു സത്യംചെയ്തുവല്ലോ.

And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.അപ്പോൾ യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തിന്നു വരുത്തും എന്നു കല്പിച്ച അനർത്ഥത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു അനുതപിച്ചു.

And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written.മോശെ തിരിഞ്ഞു പർവ്വതത്തിൽനിന്നു ഇറങ്ങി; സാക്ഷ്യത്തിന്റെ പലക രണ്ടും അവന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. പലക ഇപ്പുറവും അപ്പുറവുമായി ഇരുവശത്തും എഴുതിയതായിരുന്നു.

And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables.പലക ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പണിയും പലകയിൽ പതിഞ്ഞ എഴുത്തു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ എഴുത്തും ആയിരുന്നു.

And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said unto Moses, There is a noise of war in the camp.ജനം ആർത്തുവിളിക്കുന്ന ഘോഷം യോശുവ കേട്ടപ്പോൾ അവൻ മോശെയോടു: പാളയത്തിൽ യുദ്ധഘോഷം ഉണ്ടു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And he said, It is not the voice of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of them that cry for being overcome: but the noise of them that sing do I hear.അതിന്നു അവൻ: ജയിച്ചു ആർക്കുന്നവരുടെ ഘോഷമല്ല, തോറ്റു നിലവിളിക്കുന്നവരുടെ നിലവിളിയുമല്ല, പ്രതിഗാനം ചെയ്യുന്നവരുടെ ഘോഷമത്രേ ഞാൻ കേൾക്കുന്നതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses' anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.അവൻ പാളയത്തിന്നു സമീപിച്ചപ്പോൾ കാളക്കുട്ടിയെയും നൃത്തങ്ങളെയും കണ്ടു അപ്പോൾ മോശെയുടെ കോപം ജ്വലിച്ചു അവൻ പലകകളെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു എറിഞ്ഞു പർവ്വതത്തിന്റെ അടിവാരത്തുവെച്ചു പൊട്ടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and scattered it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.അവർ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിരുന്ന കാളക്കുട്ടിയെ അവൻ എടുത്തു തീയിൽ ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടു അരെച്ചു പൊടിയാക്കി വെള്ളത്തിൽ വിതറി യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളെ കുടിപ്പിച്ചു.

And Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto you, that you have brought so great a sin upon them?മോശെ അഹരോനോടു: ഈ ജനത്തിന്മേൽ ഇത്രവലിയ പാപം വരുത്തുവാൻ അവർ നിന്നോടു എന്തു ചെയ്തു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my lord wax hot: you know the people, that they are set on mischief.അതിന്നു അഹരോൻ പറഞ്ഞതു: യജമാനന്റെ കോപം ജ്വലിക്കരുതേ; ഈ ജനം ദോഷത്തിലേക്കു ചാഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതെന്നു നീ അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ.

For they said unto me, Make us gods, which shall go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we know not what is become of him.ഞങ്ങൾക്കു മുമ്പായി നടക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഒരു ദൈവത്തെ ഉണ്ടാക്കി തരേണം; ഞങ്ങളെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന പുരുഷനായ ഈ മോശെക്കു എന്തു ഭവിച്ചു എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നില്ലല്ലോ എന്നു അവർ എന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

And I said unto them, Whosoever has any gold, let them break it off. So they gave it me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf.ഞാൻ അവരോടു: പൊന്നുള്ളവർ അതു പറിച്ചെടുക്കട്ടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അവർ അതു എന്റെ പക്കൽ തന്നു; ഞാൻ അതു തീയിൽ ഇട്ടു ഈ കാളക്കുട്ടി പുറത്തു വന്നു.

And when Moses saw that the people were naked; (for Aaron had made them naked unto their shame among their enemies:)അവരുടെ വിരോധികൾക്കു മുമ്പാകെ അവർ ഹാസ്യമാകത്തക്കവണ്ണം അഹരോൻ അവരെ അഴിച്ചുവിട്ടു കളകയാൽ ജനം കെട്ടഴിഞ്ഞവരായി എന്നു കണ്ടിട്ടു മോശെ പാളയത്തിന്റെ വാതിൽക്കൽ നിന്നുകൊണ്ടു:

Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD's side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.യഹോവയുടെ പക്ഷത്തിൽ ഉള്ളവൻ എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരട്ടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. എന്നാറെ ലേവ്യർ എല്ലാവരും അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നുകൂടി.

And he said unto them, Thus says the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour.അവൻ അവരോടു: നിങ്ങൾ ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ വാൾ അരെക്കു കെട്ടി പാളയത്തിൽകൂടി വാതിൽതോറും കടന്നു ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ സഹോദരനെയും താന്താന്റെ സ്നേഹിതനെയും താന്താന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരനെയും കൊന്നുകളവിൻ എന്നിങ്ങനെ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ കല്പിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men.ലേവ്യർ മോശെ പറഞ്ഞതു പോലെ ചെയ്തു അന്നു ഏകദേശം മൂവായിരം പേർ വീണു.

For Moses had said, Consecrate yourselves today to the LORD, even every man upon his son, and upon his brother; that he may bestow upon you a blessing this day.യഹോവ ഇന്നു നിങ്ങൾക്കു അനുഗ്രഹം നല്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങൾ ഇന്നു ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ മകന്നും താന്താന്റെ സഹോദരന്നും വിരോധമായി യഹോവെക്കു നിങ്ങളെ തന്നേ ഏല്പിച്ചുകൊടുപ്പിൻ എന്നു മോശെ പറഞ്ഞു.

And it came to pass on the next day, that Moses said unto the people, All of you have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto the LORD; possibly I shall make an atonement for your sin.പിറ്റെന്നാൾ മോശെ: നിങ്ങൾ ഒരു മഹാപാപം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ യഹോവയുടെ അടുക്കൽ കയറിച്ചെല്ലും; പക്ഷേ നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപത്തിന്നുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം വരുത്തുവാൻ എനിക്കു ഇടയാകും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold.അങ്ങനെ മോശെ യഹോവയുടെ അടുക്കൽ മടങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു പറഞ്ഞതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: അയ്യോ, ഈ ജനം മഹാപാതകം ചെയ്തു പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടു തങ്ങൾക്കു ഒരു ദൈവത്തെ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

Yet now, if you will forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray you, out of your book which you have written.എങ്കിലും നീ അവരുടെ പാപം ക്ഷമിക്കേണമേ; അല്ലെങ്കിൽ നീ എഴുതിയ നിന്റെ പുസ്തകത്തിൽനിന്നു എന്റെ പേർ മായിച്ചുകളയേണമേ.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever has sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.യഹോവ മോശെയോടു: എന്നോടു പാപം ചെയ്തവന്റെ പേർ ഞാൻ എന്റെ പുസ്തകത്തിൽനിന്നു മായിച്ചുകളയും.

Therefore now go, lead the people unto the place of which I have spoken unto you: behold, mine Angel shall go before you: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin upon them.ആകയാൽ നീ പോയി ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത ദേശത്തേക്കു ജനത്തെ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു പോക; എന്റെ ദൂതൻ നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നടക്കും. എന്നാൽ എന്റെ സന്ദർശനദിവസത്തിൽ ഞാൻ അവരുടെ പാപം അവരുടെമേൽ സന്ദർശിക്കും എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

And the LORD plagued the people, because they made the calf, which Aaron made.അഹരോൻ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ കാളക്കുട്ടിയെ ജനം ഉണ്ടാക്കിച്ചതാകകൊണ്ടു യഹോവ അവരെ ദണ്ഡിപ്പിച്ചു.

Exodus 33

And the LORD said unto Moses, Depart, and go up behind, you and the people which you have brought up out of the land of Egypt, unto the land which I swore unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, Unto your seed will I give it:അനന്തരം യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു എന്തെന്നാൽ നീയും മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു നീ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന ജനവും ഇവിടെ നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു, നിന്റെ സന്തതിക്കു കൊടുക്കുമെന്നു ഞാൻ അബ്രാഹാമിനോടും യിസ്ഹാക്കിനോടും യാക്കോബിനോടും സത്യംചെയ്ത ദേശത്തേക്കു,

And I will send an angel before you; and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite:പാലും തേനും ഒഴുകുന്ന ദേശത്തേക്കു, തന്നേ, പോകുവിൻ. ഞാൻ ഒരു ദൂതനെ നിനക്കു മുമ്പായി അയക്കും; കനാന്യൻ, അമോർയ്യൻ, ഹിത്യൻ, പെരിസ്യൻ, ഹിവ്യൻ, യെബൂസ്യൻ എന്നിവരെ ഞാൻ ഓടിച്ചുകളയും.

Unto a land flowing with milk and honey: for I will not go up in the midst of you; for you are a stubborn people: lest I consume you in the way.വഴിയിൽവെച്ചു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ നശിപ്പിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ നിന്റെ നടുവിൽ നടക്കയില്ല; നീ ദുശ്ശാഠ്യമുള്ള ജനം ആകുന്നു.

And when the people heard these evil tidings, they mourned: and no man did put on him his ornaments.ദോഷകരമായ ഈ വചനം കേട്ടപ്പോൾ ജനം ദുഃഖിച്ചു; ആരും തന്റെ ആഭരണം ധരിച്ചതുമില്ല.

For the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, All of you are a stubborn people: I will come up into the midst of you in a moment, and consume you: therefore now put off your ornaments from you, that I may know what to do unto you.നിങ്ങൾ ദുശ്ശാഠ്യമുള്ള ജനം ആകുന്നു; ഞാൻ ഒരു നിമിഷനേരം നിന്റെ നടുവിൽ നടന്നാൽ നിന്നെ സംഹരിച്ചുകളയും; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു എന്തു ചെയ്യേണം എന്നു അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ നിന്റെ ആഭരണം നീക്കിക്കളക എന്നിങ്ങനെ യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളോടു പറക എന്നു യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചിരുന്നു.

And the children of Israel stripped themselves of their ornaments by the mount Horeb.അങ്ങനെ ഹോരേബ് പർവ്വതത്തിങ്കൽ തുടങ്ങി യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ ആഭരണം ധരിച്ചില്ല.

And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, far off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every one which sought the LORD went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp.മോശെ കൂടാരം എടുത്തു പാളയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തു പാളയത്തിൽനിന്നു ദൂരത്തു അടിച്ചു; അതിന്നു സമാഗമനക്കുടാരം എന്നു പേർ ഇട്ടു. യഹോവയെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവനെല്ലാം പുറപ്പെട്ടു പാളയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തുള്ള സമാഗമന കൂടാരത്തിലേക്കു ചെന്നു.

And it came to pass, when Moses went out unto the tabernacle, that all the people rose up, and stood every man at his tent door, and looked after Moses, until he was gone into the tabernacle.മോശെ കൂടാരത്തിലേക്കു പോകുമ്പോൾ ജനം ഒക്കെയും എഴുന്നേറ്റു ഒരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ കൂടാരവാതിൽക്കൽ നിന്നു, മോശെ കൂടാരത്തിന്നകത്തു കടക്കുവേളം അവനെ നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the Lord talked with Moses.മോശെ കൂടാരത്തിൽ കടക്കുമ്പോൾ മേഘസ്തംഭം ഇറങ്ങി കൂടാരവാതിൽക്കൽ നിൽക്കയും യഹോവ മോശെയോടു സംസാരിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door.ജനം എല്ലാം കൂടാരവാതിൽക്കൽ മേഘസ്തംഭം നില്ക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു. ജനം എല്ലാം എഴുന്നേറ്റു ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ കൂടാരവാതിൽക്കൽവെച്ചു നമസ്കരിച്ചു.

And the LORD spoke unto Moses face to face, as a man speaks unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle.ഒരുത്തൻ തന്റെ സ്നേഹിതനോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്നതു പോലെ യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അഭിമുഖമായി സംസാരിച്ചു. പിന്നെ അവൻ പാളയത്തിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിവന്നു; അവന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷക്കാരനായ നൂന്റെ പുത്രനായ യോശുവ എന്ന ബാല്യക്കാരനോ കൂടാരത്തെ വിട്ടുപിരിയാതിരുന്നു.

And Moses said unto the LORD, See, you says unto me, Bring up this people: and you have not let me know whom you will send with me. Yet you have said, I know you by name, and you have also found grace in my sight.മോശെ യഹോവയോടു പറഞ്ഞതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: ഈ ജനത്തെ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു പോക എന്നു നീ എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചുവല്ലോ; എങ്കിലും ആരെ എന്നോടുകൂടെ അയക്കുമെന്നു അറിയിച്ചുതന്നില്ല; എന്നാൽ: ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അടുത്തു അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; എനിക്കു നിന്നോടു കൃപ തോന്നിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നീ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടല്ലോ.

Now therefore, I pray you, if I have found grace in your sight, show me now your way, that I may know you, that I may find grace in your sight: and consider that this nation is your people.ആകയാൽ എന്നോടു കൃപയുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ നിന്റെ വഴി എന്നെ അറിയിക്കേണമേ; നിനക്കു എന്നോടു കൃപയുണ്ടാകുവാന്തക്കവണ്ണം ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അറിയുമാറാകട്ടെ; ഈ ജാതി നിന്റെ ജനം എന്നു ഓർക്കേണമേ.

And he said, My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest.അതിന്നു അവൻ: എന്റെ സാന്നിദ്ധ്യം നിന്നോടുകൂടെ പോരും; ഞാൻ നിനക്കു സ്വസ്ഥത നല്കും എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

¹⁵

And he said unto him, If your presence go not with me, carry us not up behind.അവൻ അവനോടു: തിരുസാന്നിദ്ധ്യം എന്നോടുകൂടെ പോരുന്നില്ല എങ്കിൽ ഞങ്ങളെ ഇവിടെനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കരുതേ.

For wherein shall it be known here that I and your people have found grace in your sight? is it not in that you go with us? so shall we be separated, I and your people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.എന്നോടും നിന്റെ ജനത്തോടും കൃപ ഉണ്ടെന്നുള്ളതു ഏതിനാൽ അറിയും? നീ ഞങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ പോരുന്നതിനാലല്ലയോ? അങ്ങനെ ഞാനും നിന്റെ ജനവും ഭൂതലത്തിലുള്ള സകലജാതികളിലുംവെച്ചു വിശേഷതയുള്ളവരായിരിക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that you have spoken: for you have found grace in my sight, and I know you by name.യഹോവ മോശെയോടു: നീ പറഞ്ഞ ഈ വാക്കുപോലെ ഞാൻ ചെയ്യും; എനിക്കു നിന്നോടു കൃപ തോന്നിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അടുത്തു അറിഞ്ഞുമിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

¹⁸

And he said, I plead to you, show me your glory.അപ്പോൾ അവൻ: നിന്റെ തേജസ്സു എനിക്കു കാണിച്ചു തരേണമേ എന്നപേക്ഷിച്ചു.

¹⁹

And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before you; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.അതിന്നു അവൻ: ഞാൻ എന്റെ മഹിമ ഒക്കെയും നിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ കടക്കുമാറാക്കി യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തെ നിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ ഘോഷിക്കും; കൃപ ചെയ്‍വാൻ എനിക്കു മനസ്സുള്ളവനോടു ഞാൻ കൃപ ചെയ്യും; കരുണ കാണിപ്പാൻ എനിക്കു മനസ്സുള്ളവന്നു ഞാൻ കരുണ കാണിക്കും എന്നരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

And he said, You can not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.നിനക്കു എന്റെ മുഖം കാണ്മാൻ കഴികയില്ല; ഒരു മനുഷ്യനും എന്നെ കണ്ടു ജീവനോടെ ഇരിക്കയില്ല എന്നും അവൻ കല്പിച്ചു.

And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and you shall stand upon a rock:ഇതാ, എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ഒരു സ്ഥലം ഉണ്ടു; അവിടെ ആ പാറമേൽ നീ നിൽക്കേണം.

And it shall come to pass, while my glory passes by, that I will put you in a cleft of the rock, and will cover you with my hand while I pass by:എന്റെ തേജസ്സു കടന്നുപോകുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ പാറയുടെ ഒരു പിളർപ്പിൽ ആക്കി ഞാൻ കടന്നുപോകുവോളം എന്റെ കൈകൊണ്ടു നിന്നെ മറെക്കും.

And I will take away mine hand, and you shall see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.പിന്നെ എന്റെ കൈ നീക്കും; നീ എന്റെ പിൻഭാഗം കാണും; എന്റെ മുഖമോ കാണാവതല്ല എന്നും യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

Exodus 34

And the LORD said unto Moses, Hew you two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which you brake.യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: മുമ്പിലത്തേവ പോലെ രണ്ടു കല്പലക ചെത്തിക്കൊൾക; എന്നാൽ നീ പൊട്ടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞ മുമ്പിലത്തെ പലകയിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന വചനങ്ങളെ ഞാൻ ആ പലകയിൽ എഴുതും.

And be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and present yourself there to me in the top of the mount.നീ രാവിലേ ഒരുങ്ങി രാവിലേ തന്നേ സീനായിപർവ്വതത്തിൽ കയറി; പർവ്വതത്തിന്റെ മുകളിൽ എന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ വരേണം.

And no man shall come up with you, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount.നിന്നോടു കൂടെ ആരും കയറരുതു. പർവ്വതത്തിലെങ്ങും ആരെയും കാണരുതു. പർവ്വതത്തിൻ അരികെ ആടുകളോ കന്നുകാലികളോ മേയുകയും അരുതു.

And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as the LORD had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tables of stone.അങ്ങനെ മോശെ മുമ്പിലത്തേവ പോലെ രണ്ടു കല്പലക ചെത്തി, അതികാലത്തു എഴുന്നേറ്റു യഹോവ തന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോല സീനായിപർവ്വതത്തിൽ കയറി; കാല്പലക രണ്ടും കയ്യിൽ എടുത്തുകൊണ്ടു പോയി:

And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD.അപ്പോൾ യഹോവ മേഘത്തിൽ ഇറങ്ങി അവിടെ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ നിന്നു യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തെ ഘോഷിച്ചു.

And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,യഹോവ അവന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ കടന്നു ഘോഷിച്ചതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: യഹോവ, യഹോവയായ ദൈവം, കരുണയും കൃപയുമുള്ളവൻ; ദീർഘക്ഷമയും മഹാദയയും വിശ്വസ്തതയുമുള്ളവൻ.

Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.ആയിരം ആയിരത്തിന്നു ദയ പാലിക്കുന്നവൻ; അകൃത്യവും അതിക്രമവും പാപവും ക്ഷമിക്കുന്നവൻ; കുറ്റമുള്ളവനെ വെറുതെ വിടാതെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ അകൃത്യം മക്കളുടെമേലും മക്കളുടെ മക്കളുടെമേലും മൂന്നാമത്തെയും നാലാമത്തെയും തലമുറയോളം സന്ദർശിക്കുന്നവൻ.

And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.എന്നാറെ മോശെ ബദ്ധപ്പെട്ടു സാഷ്ടാംഗം വീണു നമസ്കരിച്ചു:

And he said, If now I have found grace in your sight, O LORD, let my LORD, I pray you, go among us; for it is a stubborn people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for yours inheritance.കർത്താവേ, നിനക്കു എന്നോടു കൃപയുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ കർത്താവു ഞങ്ങളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ നടക്കേണമേ. ഇതു ദുശ്ശാഠ്യമുള്ള ജനം തന്നേ എങ്കിലും ഞങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യവും പാപവും ക്ഷമിച്ചു ഞങ്ങളെ നിന്റെ അവകാശമാക്കേണമേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all your people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which you are shall see the work of the LORD: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with you.അതിന്നു അവൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതെന്തെന്നാൽ: ഞാൻ ഒരു നിയമം ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നു. ഭൂമിയിലെങ്ങും ഒരു ജാതിയിലും സംഭവിച്ചിട്ടില്ലാത്ത അത്ഭുതങ്ങൾ നിന്റെ സർവ്വജനത്തിന്നും മുമ്പാകെ ഞാൻ ചെയ്യും; നീ സഹവാസം ചെയ്തുപോരുന്ന ജനം ഒക്കെയും യഹോവയുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയെ കാണും; ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു ചെയ്‍വാനിരിക്കുന്നതു ഭയങ്കരമായുള്ളതു തന്നേ.

Observe you that which I command you this day: behold, I drive out before you the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.ഇന്നു ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു കല്പിക്കുന്നതു സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊൾക; അമോർയ്യൻ, കനാന്യൻ, ഹിത്യൻ, പെരിസ്യൻ, ഹിവ്യൻ, യെബൂസ്യൻ എന്നിവരെ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നിന്നു ഓടിച്ചുകളയും.

Take heed to yourself, lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land where you go, lest it be for a snare in the midst of you:നീ ചെല്ലുന്ന ദേശത്തിലെ നിവാസികളോടു നീ ഒരു ഉടമ്പടി ചെയ്യാതിരിപ്പാൻ കരുതിക്കൊൾക; അല്ലാഞ്ഞാൽ അതു നിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യേ ഒരു കണിയായിരിക്കും.

But all of you shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves:നിങ്ങൾ അവരുടെ ബലി പീഠങ്ങളെ ഇടിച്ചു വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ തകർത്തു അശേരപ്രതിഷ്ഠകളെ വെട്ടിക്കളയേണം.

For you shall worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:അന്യദൈവത്തെ നമസ്കരിക്കരുതു; യഹോവയുടെ നാമം തീക്ഷ്ണൻ എന്നാകുന്നു; അവൻ തീക്ഷ്ണതയുള്ള ദൈവം തന്നേ.

Lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call you, and you eat of his sacrifice;ആ ദേശത്തിലെ നിവാസികളോടു ഉടമ്പടി ചെയ്കയും അവരുടെ ദേവന്മാരോടു അവർ പരസംഗം ചെയ്തു അവരുടെ ദേവന്മാർക്കു ബലി കഴിക്കുമ്പോൾ നിന്നെ വിളിക്കയും നീ ചെന്നു അവരുടെ ബലികൾ തിന്നുകയും

And you take of their daughters unto your sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make your sons go a whoring after their gods.അവരുടെ പുത്രിമാരിൽനിന്നു നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർക്കു ഭാര്യമാരെ എടുക്കയും അവരുടെ പുത്രിമാർ തങ്ങളുടെ ദേവന്മാരോടു പരസംഗം ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെക്കൊണ്ടു അവരുടെ ദേവന്മാരോടു പരസംഗം ചെയ്യിക്കയും ചെയ്‍വാൻ ഇടവരരുതു.

You shall make you no molten gods.ദേവന്മാരെ വാർത്തുണ്ടാക്കരുതു.

The feast of unleavened bread shall you keep. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, in the time of the month Abib: for in the month Abib you came out from Egypt.പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പത്തിന്റെ ഉത്സവം നീ ആചരിക്കേണം. ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ആബീബ് മാസത്തിൽ നിശ്ചയിച്ച സമയത്തു ഏഴു ദിവസം പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പം തിന്നേണം; ആബീബ് മാസത്തിലല്ലോ നീ മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോന്നതു.

All that opens the womb is mine; and every first born among your cattle, whether ox or sheep, that is male.ആദ്യം ജനിക്കുന്നതൊക്കെയും നിന്റെ ആടുകളുടെയും കന്നുകാലികളുടെയും കൂട്ടത്തിൽ കടിഞ്ഞൂലായ ആൺഒക്കെയും എനിക്കുള്ളതു ആകുന്നു.

But the first born of an ass you shall redeem with a lamb: and if you redeem him not, then shall you break his neck. All the firstborn of your sons you shall redeem. And none shall appear before me empty.എന്നാൽ കഴുതയുടെ കടിഞ്ഞൂലിനെ ആട്ടിൻ കുട്ടിയെക്കൊണ്ടു വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളേണം. വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ അതിന്റെ കഴുത്തു ഒടിച്ചുകളയേണം. നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരിൽ ആദ്യജാതനെ ഒക്കെയും വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളേണം. വെറുങ്കയ്യോടെ നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ വരരുതു.

Six days you shall work, but on the seventh day you shall rest: in earring time and in harvest you shall rest.ആറു ദിവസം വേല ചെയ്യേണം; ഏഴാം ദിവസം സ്വസ്ഥമായിരിക്കേണം; വിതകാലമോ കൊയ്ത്തുകാലമോ ആയാലും സ്വസ്ഥമായിരിക്കേണം.

And you shall observe the feast of weeks, of the first-fruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year's end.കോതമ്പുകെയ്ത്തിലെ ആദ്യഫലോത്സവമായ വാരോത്സവവും ആണ്ടറുതിയിൽ കായ്കനിപ്പെരുനാളും നീ ആചരിക്കേണം.

Three times in the year shall all your male children appear before the LORD God, the God of Israel.സംവത്സരത്തിൽ മൂന്നു പ്രാവശ്യം പുരുഷന്മാരൊക്കയും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായി യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ വരേണം.

For I will cast out the nations before you, and enlarge your borders: neither shall any man desire your land, when you shall go up to appear before the LORD your God three times in the year.ഞാൻ ജാതികളെ നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു ഓടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു നിന്റെ അതൃത്തികളെ വിശാലമാക്കും; നീ സംവത്സരത്തിൽ മൂന്നു പ്രാവശ്യം നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ ചെല്ലുവാൻ കയറിപ്പോയിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഒരു മനുഷ്യനും നിന്റെ ദേശം മോഹിക്കയില്ല.

You shall not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven; neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the passover be left unto the morning.എന്റെ യാഗരക്തം പുളിപ്പുള്ള അപ്പത്തോടുകൂടെ അർപ്പിക്കരുതു. പെസഹപെരുനാളിലെ യാഗം പ്രഭാതകാലംവരെ വെച്ചേക്കരുതു.

The first of the first-fruits of your land you shall bring unto the house of the LORD your God. You shall not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.നിന്റെ നിലത്തിലെ ആദ്യവിളവിന്റെ ആദ്യഫലം നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ കൊണ്ടുവരേണം. കോലാട്ടിൻ കുട്ടിയെ അതിന്റെ തള്ളയുടെ പാലിൽ പാകം ചെയ്യരുതു.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Write you these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു: ഈ വചനങ്ങളെ എഴുതിക്കൊൾക; ഈ വചനങ്ങൾ ആധാരമാക്കി ഞാൻ നിന്നോടും യിസ്രായേലിനോടും നിയമം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.അവൻ അവിടെ ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കാതെയും വെള്ളം കുടിക്കാതെയും നാല്പതു പകലും നാല്പതു രാവും യഹോവയോടു കൂടെ ആയിരുന്നു; അവൻ പത്തു കല്പനയായ നിയമത്തിന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെ പലകയിൽ എഴുതിക്കൊടുത്തു.

And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses know not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.അവൻ തന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു നിമിത്തം തന്റെ മുഖത്തിന്റെ ത്വക്ക്ക് പ്രകാശിച്ചു എന്നു മോശെ സാക്ഷ്യത്തിന്റെ പലക രണ്ടും കയ്യിൽ പടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു സീനായിപർവ്വതത്തിൽനിന്നു ഇറങ്ങുമ്പോൾ അറിഞ്ഞില്ല.

And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him.അഹരോനും യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ എല്ലാവരും മോശെയെ നോക്കിയപ്പോൾ അവന്റെ മുഖത്തിന്റെ ത്വക്ക്ക് പ്രകാശിക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു; അതു കൊണ്ടു അവർ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെല്ലുവാൻ ഭയപ്പെട്ടു.

And Moses called unto them; and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned unto him: and Moses talked with them.മോശെ അവരെ വിളിച്ചു; അപ്പോൾ അഹരോനും സഭയിലെ പ്രമാണികൾ ഒക്കെയും അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ മടങ്ങി വന്നു; മോശെ അവരോടു സംസാരിചു.

And afterward all the children of Israel came nigh: and he gave them in commandment all that the LORD had spoken with him in mount Sinai.അതിന്റെ ശേഷം യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ ഒക്കെയും അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു. സീനായി പർവ്വതത്തിൽവെച്ചു യഹോവ തന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതൊക്കെയും അവൻ അവരോടു ആജ്ഞാപിച്ചു.

And till Moses had done speaking with them, he put a vail on his face.മോശെ അവരോടു സംസാരിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ അവൻ തന്റെ മുഖത്തു ഒരു മൂടുപടം ഇട്ടു.

But when Moses went in before the LORD to speak with him, he took the vail off, until he came out. And he came out, and spoke unto the children of Israel that which he was commanded.മോശെ യഹോവയോടു സംസാരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന്റെ സന്നിധാനത്തിൽ കടക്കുമ്പോൾ പുറത്തു വരുവോളം മൂടുപടം നീക്കിയിരിക്കും; തന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതു അവൻ പുറത്തുവന്നു യിസ്രയേൽമക്കളോടു പറയും.

And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses' face shone: and Moses put the vail upon his face again, until he went in to speak with him.യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ മോശെയുടെ മുഖത്തിന്റെ ത്വക്ക്ക് പ്രകാശിക്കുന്നതായി കണ്ടതുകൊണ്ടു മോശെ അവനോടു സംസാരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അകത്തു കടക്കുവോളം മൂടുപടം പിന്നെയും തന്റെ മുഖത്തു ഇട്ടുകൊള്ളും.
