Jeremiah 31

At the same time, says the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.ആ കാലത്തു ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സകലവംശങ്ങൾക്കും ദൈവമായും അവർ എനിക്കു ജനമായും ഇരിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

Thus says the LORD, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: വാളിന്നു തെറ്റി ശേഷിച്ച ജനം മരുഭൂമിയിൽ കൃപ കണ്ടെത്തി; ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേലിന്നു വിശ്രാമം വരുത്തുവാൻ പോകുന്നു.

The LORD has appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn you.യഹോവ ദൂരത്തുനിന്നു എനിക്കു പ്രത്യക്ഷമായി അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു: നിത്യസ്നേഹംകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ സ്നേഹിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ നിനക്കു ദയ ദീർഘമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

Again I will build you, and you shall be built, O virgin of Israel: you shall again be adorned with your timbrels, and shall go forth in the dances of them that make merry.യിസ്രായേൽകന്യകേ, ഞാൻ നിനക്കു വീണ്ടും അഭിവൃദ്ധി വരുത്തുകയും നീ അഭിവൃദ്ധിപ്രാപിക്കയും ചെയ്യും; നീ ഇനിയും ചേലോടെ തപ്പു എടുത്തുകൊണ്ടു സന്തോഷിച്ചു, നൃത്തംചെയ്യുന്നവരുടെ നിരയിൽ പുറപ്പെടും.

You shall yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.നീ ഇനിയും ശമർയ്യപർവ്വതങ്ങളിൽ മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടം ഉണ്ടാക്കും; കൃഷിക്കാർ കൃഷിചെയ്തു ഫലം അനുഭവിക്കും.

For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise all of you, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.എഴുന്നേല്പിൻ; നാം സീയോനിലേക്കു, നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കു, കയറിപ്പോക എന്നു കാവൽക്കാർ എഫ്രയീംമലനാട്ടിൽ വിളിച്ചുപറയുന്ന നാൾ വരും.

For thus says the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish all of you, praise all of you, and say, O LORD, save your people, the remnant of Israel.യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: യാക്കോബിനെച്ചൊല്ലി ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിപ്പിൻ! ജാതികളുടെ തലവനെക്കുറിച്ചു സന്തോഷിച്ചു ആർപ്പിടുവിൻ! ഘോഷിച്ചും സ്തുതിച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു: യഹോവേ, യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ശേഷിപ്പായിരിക്കുന്ന നിന്റെ ജനത്തെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ എന്നു പറവിൻ!

Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that labors with child together: a great company shall return thither.ഞാൻ അവരെ വടക്കുദേശത്തുനിന്നു വരുത്തുകയും ഭൂമിയുടെ അറ്റങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു അവരെയും അവരോടുകൂടെ കുരുടനെയും മുടന്തനെയും ഗർഭിണിയെയും നോവുകിട്ടിയവളെയും എല്ലാം ശേഖരിക്കയും ചെയ്യും; അങ്ങനെ വലിയോരു സംഘം ഇവിടേക്കു മടങ്ങിവരും.

They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.അവർ കരഞ്ഞുംകൊണ്ടു വരും; യാചിക്കുന്നവരായി ഞാൻ അവരെ കൊണ്ടുവരും; അവർ ഇടറിപ്പോകാത്ത നിരപ്പുള്ള വഴിയിൽ ഞാൻ അവരെ നീർത്തോടുകൾക്കരികെ നടത്തും; ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേലിന്നു പിതാവും എഫ്രയീം എന്റെ ആദ്യജാതനുമല്ലോ.

Hear the word of the LORD, O all of you nations, and declare it in the isles far off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd does his flock.ജാതികളേ, യഹോവയുടെ വചനം കേൾപ്പിൻ! ദൂരദ്വീപുകളിൽ അതിനെ പ്രസ്താവിപ്പിൻ! യിസ്രായേലിനെ ചിതറിച്ചവൻ അവനെ കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു, ഒരിടയൻ തന്റെ കൂട്ടത്തെ കാക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അവനെ കാക്കും എന്നു പറവിൻ.

For the LORD has redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.യഹോവ യാക്കോബിനെ വീണ്ടെടുത്തു അവനെക്കാൾ ബലവാനായവന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു അവനെ രക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.അവർ വന്നു സീയോൻമുകളിൽ കയറി ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കും; ധാന്യം, വീഞ്ഞു, എണ്ണ, കുഞ്ഞാടുകൾ, കാളക്കുട്ടികൾ എന്നിങ്ങനെയുള്ള യഹോവയുടെ നന്മയിലേക്കു ഓടിവരും; അവരുടെ പ്രാണൻ നനഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന തോട്ടം പോലെയാകും; അവർ ഇനി ക്ഷീണിച്ചു പോകയുമില്ല.

Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.അന്നു കന്യകയും യൌവനക്കാരും വൃദ്ധന്മാരും ഒരുപോലെ നൃത്തംചെയ്തു സന്തോഷിക്കും; ഞാൻ അവരുടെ ദുഃഖം മാറ്റി സന്തോഷമാക്കും; ഞാൻ അവരെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിച്ചു സങ്കടംപോക്കി സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കും.

And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, says the LORD.ഞാൻ പുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെ പ്രാണനെ പുഷ്ടികൊണ്ടു തണുപ്പിക്കും; എന്റെ ജനം എന്റെ നന്മകൊണ്ടു തൃപ്തിപ്രാപിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

Thus says the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: രാമയിൽ ഒരു ശബ്ദം കേൾക്കുന്നു! വിലാപവും കഠിനമായുള്ള കരച്ചലും തന്നേ; റാഹേൽ തന്റെ മക്കളെക്കുറിച്ചു കരയുന്നു; അവർ ഇല്ലായ്കയാൽ അവരെച്ചൊല്ലി ആശ്വാസം കൈക്കൊൾവാൻ അവൾക്കു മനസ്സില്ല.

Thus says the LORD; Refrain your voice from weeping, and yours eyes from tears: for your work shall be rewarded, says the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: കരയാതെ നിന്റെ ശബ്ദവും കണ്ണുനീർ വാർക്കാതെ നിന്റെ കണ്ണും അടക്കിക്കൊൾക; നിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിക്കു പ്രതിഫലമുണ്ടാകും; അവർ ശത്രുവിന്റെ ദേശത്തുനിന്നു മടങ്ങിവരും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

And there is hope in yours end, says the LORD, that your children shall come again to their own border.നിന്റെ ഭാവിയെക്കുറിച്ചു പ്രത്യാശയുണ്ടു; നിന്റെ മക്കൾ തങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തേക്കു മടങ്ങിവരും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; You have chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock is not accustomed to the yoke: turn you me, and I shall be turned; for you are the LORD my God.നീ എന്നെ ശിക്ഷിച്ചു; മരുക്കമില്ലാത്ത കാളക്കുട്ടിയെപ്പോലെ ഞാൻ ശിക്ഷ പ്രാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ മടങ്ങി വരേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്നെ മടക്കിവരുത്തേണമേ; നീ എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയല്ലോ.

Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I stroke upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.ഞാൻ തെറ്റിപ്പോയശേഷം അനുതപിച്ചും ഉപദേശം ലഭിച്ചശേഷം തുടമേൽ അടിച്ചു നാണിച്ചും ലജ്ജിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ യൌവനത്തിലെ നിന്ദയല്ലോ ഞാൻ വഹിക്കുന്നതു എന്നിങ്ങനെ എഫ്രയീം വിലപിക്കുന്നതു ഞാൻ നല്ലവണ്ണം കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spoke against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, says the LORD.എഫ്രയീം എന്റെ വാത്സല്യപുത്രനോ? ഓമനക്കുട്ടിയോ? ഞാൻ അവന്നു വിരോധമായി സംസാരിക്കുമ്പോഴൊക്കെയും അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു എന്റെ മനസ്സിൽ സ്ഥായി തോന്നുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു എന്റെ ഉള്ളം അവനെച്ചൊല്ലി ഉരുകുന്നു; ഞാൻ അവനോടു കരുണ കാണിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

Set you up guideposts, make you high heaps: set yours heart toward the highway, even the way which you went: return, O virgin of Israel, return to these your cities.നിനക്കു അടയാളങ്ങളെ വെക്കുക; കൈചൂണ്ടികളെ നാട്ടുക; നീ പോയ പെരുവഴി മനസ്സിൽ വെച്ചുകൊൾക; യിസ്രായേൽകന്യകേ, മടങ്ങിവരിക; നിന്റെ ഈ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലേക്കു തന്നേ മടങ്ങിവരിക.

How long will you go about, O you backsliding daughter? for the LORD has created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.വിശ്വാസത്യാഗിനിയായ മകളേ! നീ എത്രത്തോളം ഉഴന്നുനടക്കും? യഹോവ ദേശത്തു ഒരു പുതുമ സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നു: സ്ത്രീ പുരുഷനെ ചുറി പരിപാലിക്കും.

Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless you, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness.യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ അവരുടെ പ്രവാസികളെ മടക്കിവരുത്തുമ്പോൾ അവർ ഇനിയും യെഹൂദാദേശത്തും അതിലെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും, നീതി നിവാസമേ, വിശുദ്ധപർവ്വതമേ, യഹോവ നിന്നെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ എന്നീ വാക്കു പറയും.

And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all the cities thereof together, husbandmen, and they that go forth with flocks.അതിൽ യെഹൂദയും അതിന്റെ സകല നഗരവാസികളും കൃഷിക്കാരും ആട്ടിൻ കൂട്ടങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നവരും ഒരുപോലെ പാർക്കും.

²⁵

For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.ദാഹിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവനെ ഞാൻ തണുപ്പിക്കും; വിശന്നു ക്ഷീണിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഏവന്നും ഞാൻ തൃപ്തി വരുത്തും.

²⁶

Upon this I awaked, and beheld; and my sleep was sweet unto me.ഇതിങ്കൽ ഞാൻ ഉണർന്നു എന്റെ നിദ്ര എനിക്കു സുഖകരമായിരുന്നു എന്നു കണ്ടു.

²⁷

Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിലും യെഹൂദാഗൃഹത്തിലും മനുഷ്യരുടെയും മൃഗങ്ങളുടെയും വിത്തു വിതെക്കുന്ന കാലം വരും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

²⁸

And it shall come to pass, that like I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, says the LORD.അന്നു ഞാൻ പറിപ്പാനും പൊളിപ്പാനും ഇടിപ്പാനും നശിപ്പിപ്പാനും കഷ്ടപ്പെടുത്തുവാനും അവരുടെ മേൽ ജാഗരിച്ചിരുന്നതുപോലെ പണിവാനും നടുവാനും അവരുടെ മേൽ ജാഗരിച്ചിരിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge.അപ്പന്മാർ പച്ചമുന്തിരിങ്ങാ തിന്നു മക്കളുടെ പല്ലു പുളിച്ചു എന്നു അവർ അന്നാളിൽ ഇനി പറകയില്ല.

But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eats the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ അകൃത്യംനിമിത്തമത്രേ മരിക്കുന്നതു; പച്ചമുന്തിരിങ്ങാ തിന്നുന്നവന്റെ പല്ലേ പുളിക്കുകയുള്ളു.

Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തോടും യെഹൂദാഗൃഹത്തോടും പുതിയോരു നിയമം ചെയ്യുന്ന കാലം വരും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, says the LORD:ഞാൻ അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരെ കൈക്കു പിടിച്ചു മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന നാളിൽ ഞാൻ അവരോടു ചെയ്ത നിയമംപോലെയല്ല; ഞാൻ അവർക്കു ഭർത്താവായിരുന്നിട്ടും അവർ എന്റെ നിയമം ലംഘിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, says the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.എന്നാൽ ഈ കാലം കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തോടു ചെയ്‍വാനിരിക്കുന്ന നിയമം ഇങ്ങനെയാകുന്നു: ഞാൻ എന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം അവരുടെ ഉള്ളിലാക്കി അവരുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളിൽ എഴുതും; ഞാൻ അവർക്കു ദൈവമായും അവർ എനിക്കു ജനമായും ഇരിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

³⁴

And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, says the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.ഇനി അവരിൽ ആരും തന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരനെയും തന്റെ സഹോദരനെയും യഹോവയെ അറിക എന്നു ഉപദേശിക്കയില്ല; അവർ ആബാലവൃദ്ധം എല്ലാവരും എന്നെ അറിയും; ഞാൻ അവരുടെ അകൃത്യം മോചിക്കും; അവരുടെ പാപം ഇനി ഓർക്കയും ഇല്ല എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

Thus says the LORD, which gives the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divides the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:സൂര്യനെ പകൽ വെളിച്ചത്തിന്നും ചന്ദ്രന്റെയും നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളുടെയും വ്യവസ്ഥയെ രാത്രി വെളിച്ചത്തിന്നും നിയമിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവനും കടലിലെ തിരകൾ അലറുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം അതിനെ ഇളക്കുന്നവനും സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ എന്നു നാമമുള്ളവനുമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു:

If those ordinances depart from before me, says the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.ഈ വ്യവസ്ഥ എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നിന്നു മാറിപ്പോകുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ, യിസ്രായേൽ സന്തതിയും സദാകാലം എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ ഒരു ജാതിയാകാതവണ്ണം മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

³⁷

Thus says the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, says the LORD.യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: മീതെ ആകാശത്തെ അളക്കുവാനും താഴെ ഭൂമിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങളെ ശോധന ചെയ്‍വാനും കഴിയുമെങ്കിൽ, ഞാനും യിസ്രായേൽസന്തതിയെ ഒക്കെയും അവർ ചെയ്ത സകലവുംനിമിത്തം തള്ളിക്കളയും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

³⁸

Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.ഈ നഗരം ഹനനേൽഗോപുരംമുതൽ കോൺവാതിൽവരെ യഹോവെക്കായി പണിവാനുള്ള കാലം വരും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

And the measuring line shall yet go forth opposite to it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath.അളവുചരടു പിന്നെയും നേരെ ഗാരേബ് കുന്നിലേക്കു ചെന്നു ഗോവഹിലേക്കു തിരിയും.

And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.ശവങ്ങൾക്കും വെണ്ണീരിന്നും ഉള്ള താഴ്വര മുഴുവനും കിദ്രോൻ തോടുവരെയും കിഴക്കോട്ടു കുതിരവാതിലിന്റെ കോണുവരെയും ഉള്ള നിലങ്ങൾ മുഴുവനും യഹോവെക്കു വിശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കും; അതിനെ ഇനി ഒരുനാളും പറിച്ചുകളകയില്ല, ഇടിച്ചുകളയുമില്ല.

Jeremiah 32

The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD in the tenth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, which was the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar.യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ സിദെക്കീയാവിന്റെ പത്താം ആണ്ടിൽ, നെബൂഖദ്നേസരിന്റെ പതിനെട്ടാം ആണ്ടിൽ തന്നേ, യഹോവയിങ്കൽനിന്നു യിരെമ്യാവിന്നുണ്ടായ അരുളപ്പാടു.

For then the king of Babylon's army besieged Jerusalem: and Jeremiah the prophet was shut up in the court of the prison, which was in the king of Judah's house.അന്നു ബാബേൽരാജാവിന്റെ സൈന്യം യെരൂശലേമിനെ നിരോധിച്ചിരുന്നു; യിരെമ്യാപ്രവാചകനോ യെഹൂദാരാജാവിന്റെ അരമനയുടെ കാവല്പുരമുറ്റത്തു അടെക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.

For Zedekiah king of Judah had shut him up, saying, Wherefore do you prophesy, and say, Thus says the LORD, Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall take it;ഞാൻ ഈ നഗരത്തെ ബാബേൽരാജാവിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കും; അവൻ അതിനെ പിടിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നും

And Zedekiah king of Judah shall not escape out of the hand of the Chaldeans, but shall surely be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon, and shall speak with him mouth to mouth, and his eyes shall behold his eyes;യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ സിദെക്കീയാവു കല്ദയരുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോകാതെ, ബാബേൽരാജാവിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കപ്പെടും; അവൻ ഇവനുമായി വായോടുവായ് സംസാരിക്കയും കണ്ണോടുകണ്ണു കാണുകയും ചെയ്യും;

And he shall lead Zedekiah to Babylon, and there shall he be until I visit him, says the LORD: though all of you fight with the Chaldeans, all of you shall not prosper.അവൻ സിദെക്കീയാവെ ബാബേലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോകും; ഞാൻ അവനെ സന്ദർശിക്കുംവരെ അവൻ അവിടെ ഇരിക്കും; നിങ്ങൾ കല്ദയരോടു യുദ്ധംചെയ്താലും നിങ്ങൾക്കു സാദ്ധ്യം ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എന്നും നീ പ്രവചിപ്പാൻ എന്തു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ സിദെക്കീയാവു അവനെ അവിടെ അടെച്ചിരുന്നു.

And Jeremiah said, The word of the LORD came unto me, saying,യിരെമ്യാവു പറഞ്ഞതു: യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

Behold, Hanameel the son of Shallum yours uncle shall come unto you saying, Buy you my field that is in Anathoth: for the right of redemption is yours to buy it.നിന്റെ ഇളയപ്പനായ ശല്ലൂമിന്റെ മകൻ ഹനമെയേൽ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു: അനാഥേത്തിലെ എന്റെ നിലം മേടിച്ചുകൊൾക; അതു മേടിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം വീണ്ടെടുപ്പിന്റെ അവകാശം നിനക്കുള്ളതല്ലോ എന്നു പറയും.

So Hanameel mine uncle's son came to me in the court of the prison according to the word of the LORD, and said unto me, Buy my field, I pray you, that is in Anathoth, which is in the country of Benjamin: for the right of inheritance is yours, and the redemption is yours; buy it for yourself. Then I knew that this was the word of the LORD.യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുപോലെ എന്റെ ഇളയപ്പന്റെ മകൻ ഹനമെയേൽ കാവല്പുരമുറ്റത്തു എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു: ബെന്യാമീൻ ദേശത്തു അനാഥോത്തിലെ എന്റെ നിലം മേടിക്കേണമേ; അവകാശം നിനക്കുള്ളതല്ലോ, വീണ്ടെടുപ്പും നിനക്കുള്ളതു; നീ അതു മേടിച്ചുകൊള്ളേണം എന്നു എന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞു അതു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എന്നു ഞാൻ ഗ്രഹിച്ചു.

And I bought the field of Hanameel my uncle's son, that was in Anathoth, and weighed him the money, even seventeen shekels of silver.അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ ഇളയപ്പന്റെ മകൻ ഹനമെയേലിനോടു അനാഥോത്തിലെ നിലം മേടിച്ചു, വില പതിനേഴു ശേക്കെൽ വെള്ളി തൂക്കിക്കൊടുത്തു.

And I subscribed the evidence, and sealed it, and took witnesses, and weighed him the money in the balances.ആധാരം എഴുതി മുദ്രയിട്ടു സാക്ഷികളെക്കൊണ്ടു ഒപ്പിടുവിച്ച ശേഷം ഞാൻ പണം അവന്നു തുലാസിൽ തൂക്കിക്കൊടുത്തു.

So I took the evidence of the purchase, both that which was sealed according to the law and custom, and that which was open:ഇങ്ങനെ ന്യായവും പതിവും അനുസരിച്ചു മുദ്രയിട്ടിരുന്നതും തുറന്നിരുന്നതുമായ ആധാരങ്ങൾ ഞാൻ വാങ്ങി,

And I gave the evidence of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, in the sight of Hanameel mine uncle's son, and in the presence of the witnesses that subscribed the book of the purchase, before all the Jews that sat in the court of the prison.ഇളയപ്പന്റെ മകനായ ഹനമെയേലും ആധാരത്തിൽ ഒപ്പിട്ടിരുന്ന സാക്ഷികളും കാവല്പുരമുറ്റത്തു ഇരുന്നിരുന്ന യെഹൂദന്മാരൊക്കെയും കാൺകെ ആധാരം മഹസേയാവിന്റെ മകനായ നേർയ്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ ബാരൂക്കിന്റെ പക്കൽ കൊടുത്തു.

And I charged Baruch before them, saying,അവർ കേൾക്കെ ഞാൻ ബാരൂക്കിനോടു കല്പിച്ചതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Take these evidences, this evidence of the purchase, both which is sealed, and this evidence which is open; and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may continue many days.യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: മുദ്രയിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നതും തുറന്നിരിക്കുന്നതുമായ ഈ ആധാരങ്ങളെ മേടിച്ചു അവ ഏറിയകാലം നില്പാന്തക്കവണ്ണം ഒരു മൺപാത്രത്തിൽ വെക്കുക.

For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Houses and fields and vineyards shall be possessed again in this land.ഇനിയും ഈ ദേശത്തു വീടുകളും നിലങ്ങളും മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടങ്ങളും ക്രയവിക്രയം ചെയ്യും എന്നു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

Now when I had delivered the evidence of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Neriah, I prayed unto the LORD, saying,അങ്ങനെ ആധാരം നേർയ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ ബാരൂക്കിന്റെ പക്കൽ ഏല്പിച്ചശേഷം, ഞാൻ യഹോവയോടു പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചതു എന്തെന്നാൽ:

Ah Lord GOD! behold, you have made the heaven and the earth by your great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for you:അയ്യോ, യഹോവയായ കർത്താവേ, നിന്റെ മഹാശക്തികൊണ്ടും നീട്ടിയ ഭുജം കൊണ്ടും നീ ആകാശത്തെയും ഭൂമിയെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കി; നിനക്കു അസാദ്ധ്യമായതു ഒന്നുമില്ല.

¹⁸

You show loving kindness unto thousands, and recompence the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty God, the LORD of hosts, is his name,നീ ആയിരം തലമുറയോളം ദയകാണിക്കയും പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ അകൃത്യത്തിന്നു അവരുടെ ശേഷം അവരുടെ മക്കളുടെ മാർവ്വിടത്തിൽ പകരം കൊടുക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു; മഹത്വവും വല്ലഭത്വവുമുള്ള ദൈവമേ, സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ എന്നല്ലോ നിന്റെ നാമം.

Great in counsel, and mighty in work: for yours eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:നീ ആലോചനയിൽ വലിയവനും പ്രവൃത്തിയിൽ ശക്തിമാനും ആകുന്നു; ഓരോരുത്തന്നു അവനവന്റെ നടപ്പിന്നും പ്രവൃത്തികളുടെ ഫലത്തിന്നും തക്കവണ്ണം കൊടുക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ മനുഷ്യരുടെ എല്ലാവഴികളിന്മേലും ദൃഷ്ടിവെക്കുന്നു.

Which have set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even unto this day, and in Israel, and among other men; and have made you a name, as at this day;നീ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തും ഇന്നുവരെയും യിസ്രായേലിലും മറ്റു മനുഷ്യരുടെ ഇടയിലും അടയാളങ്ങളും അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു ഇന്നുള്ളതുപോലെ നിനക്കു ഒരു നാമം സമ്പാദിക്കുകയും

And have brought forth your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with great terror;നിന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേലിനെ അടയാളങ്ങൾകൊണ്ടും അത്ഭുതങ്ങൾകൊണ്ടും ബലമുള്ള കൈകൊണ്ടും നീട്ടിയ ഭുജംകൊണ്ടും മഹാഭീതികൊണ്ടും മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവരികയും

And have given them this land, which you did swear to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey;അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർക്കു കൊടുപ്പാൻ നീ അവരോടു സത്യം ചെയ്തതായി പാലും തേനും ഒഴുകുന്ന ഈ ദേശത്തെ അവർക്കു കൊടുക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

And they came in, and possessed it; but they obeyed not your voice, neither walked in your law; they have done nothing of all that you commandedst them to do: therefore you have caused all this evil to come upon them:അവർ അതിൽ കടന്നു അതിനെ കൈവശമാക്കി; എങ്കിലും അവർ നിന്റെ വാക്കു അനുസരിക്കയോ നിന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം പോലെ നടക്കയോ ചെയ്തില്ല; ചെയ്‍വാൻ നീ അവരോടു കല്പിച്ചതൊന്നും അവർ ചെയ്തില്ല; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഈ അനർത്ഥം ഒക്കെയും നീ അവർക്കു വരുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

Behold the mounts, they are come unto the city to take it; and the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans, that fight against it, because of the sword, and of the famine, and of the pestilence: and what you have spoken has come to pass; and, behold, you see it.ഇതാ, വാടകൾ! നഗരത്തെ പിടിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു! വാളും ക്ഷാമവും മഹാമാരിയും ഹേതുവായി ഈ നഗരം അതിന്നു നേരെ യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യുന്ന കല്ദയരുടെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ അരുളിചെയ്തതു സംഭവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ അതു കാണുന്നുവല്ലോ.

And you have said unto me, O Lord GOD, Buy you the field for money, and take witnesses; for the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.യഹോവയായ കർത്താവേ, നഗരം കല്ദയരുടെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കെ, നിലം വിലെക്കു മേടിച്ചു അതിന്നു സാക്ഷികളെ വെക്കുവാൻ നീ എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചുവല്ലോ.

Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying,അപ്പോൾ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു യിരെമ്യാവിന്നുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?ഞാൻ സകലജഡത്തിന്റെയും ദൈവമായ യഹോവയാകുന്നു; എനിക്കു കഴിയാത്ത വല്ല കാര്യവും ഉണ്ടോ?

²⁸

Therefore thus says the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the Chaldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and he shall take it:അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ ഈ നഗരത്തെ കല്ദയരുടെ കയ്യിലും ബാബേൽരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസരിന്റെ കയ്യിലും ഏല്പിക്കും; അവൻ അതിനെ പിടിക്കും.

²⁹

And the Chaldeans, that fight against this city, shall come and set fire on this city, and burn it with the houses, upon whose roofs they have offered incense unto Baal, and poured out drink offerings unto other gods, to provoke me to anger.ഈ നഗരത്തിന്റെ നേരെ യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യുന്ന കല്ദയർ കടന്നു നഗരത്തിന്നു തീ വെച്ചു അതിനെ, എന്നെ കോപിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു മേല്പുരകളിൽവെച്ചു ബാലിന്നു ധൂപംകാട്ടി അന്യദേവന്മാർക്കു പാനീയ ബലി പകർന്നിരിക്കുന്ന വീടുകളോടുകൂടെ ചുട്ടുകളയും.

For the children of Israel and the children of Judah have only done evil before me from their youth: for the children of Israel have only provoked me to anger with the work of their hands, says the LORD.യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളും യെഹൂദാമക്കളും ബാല്യംമുതൽ എനിക്കു അനിഷ്ടമായുള്ളതു മാത്രം ചെയ്തുവന്നു; യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ തങ്ങളുടെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾകൊണ്ടു എന്നെ കോപിപ്പിച്ചതേയുള്ളു എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

For this city has been to me as a provocation of mine anger and of my fury from the day that they built it even unto this day; that I should remove it from before my face,അവർ ഈ നഗരത്തെ പാണിത നാൾമുതൽ ഇന്നുവരെയും ഞാൻ അതിനെ എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയത്തക്കവണ്ണം അതു എനിക്കു കോപവും ക്രോധവും വരുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

Because of all the evil of the children of Israel and of the children of Judah, which they have done to provoke me to anger, they, their kings, their princes, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.എന്നെ കോപിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളും യെഹൂദാമക്കളും അവരുടെ രാജാക്കന്മാരും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും പുരോഹിതന്മാരും പ്രവാചകന്മാരും യെഹൂദാപുരുഷന്മാരും യെരൂശലേംനിവാസികളും ചെയ്ത സകലദോഷവുംനിമിത്തം തന്നേ.

And they have turned unto me the back, and not the face: though I taught them, rising up early and teaching them, yet they have not hearkened to receive instruction.അവർ മുഖമല്ല, പുറമത്രേ എങ്കലേക്കു തിരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതു; ഞാൻ ഇടവിടാതെ അവരെ ഉപദേശിച്ചു പഠിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടും ഉപദേശം കൈക്കൊൾവാൻ അവർ മനസ്സുവെച്ചില്ല.

³⁴

But they set their abominations in the house, which is called by my name, to defile it.എന്റെ നാമം വിളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ആലയത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം അവർ അതിൽ മ്ളേച്ഛവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്ചു.

³⁵

And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.മോലെക്കിന്നു തങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ദഹിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവർ ബെൻ ഹിന്നോം താഴ്വരയിൽ ബാലിന്റെ പൂജാഗിരികളെ പണിതു; ഈ മ്ളേച്ചതകളെ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു യെഹൂദയെക്കൊണ്ടു പാപം ചെയ്യിപ്പാൻ ഞാൻ അവരോടു കല്പിച്ചിട്ടില്ല; എന്റെ മനസ്സിൽ അതു തോന്നീട്ടുമില്ല.

And now therefore thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning this city, whereof all of you say, It shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence;ഇപ്പോൾ, വാൾ, ക്ഷാമം, മഹാമാരി എന്നിവയാൽ ബാബേൽരാജാവിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ പറയുന്ന ഈ നഗരത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു;

Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, where I have driven them in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely:എന്റെ കോപത്തിലും ക്രോധത്തിലും മഹാരോഷത്തിലും ഞാൻ അവരെ നീക്കക്കളഞ്ഞ സകലദേശങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും ഞാൻ അവരെ ശേഖരിക്കും; ഞാൻ അവരെ ഈ സ്ഥലത്തേക്കു മടക്കിവരുത്തി അതിൽ നിർഭയമായി വസിക്കുമാറാക്കും;

And they shall be my people, and I will be their God:അവർ എനിക്കു ജനമായും ഞാൻ അവർക്കു ദൈവമായും ഇരിക്കും.

³⁹

And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:അവർക്കും അവരുടെ ശേഷം അവരുടെ മക്കൾക്കും ഗണംവരത്തക്കവണ്ണം അവർ എന്നെ എന്നേക്കും ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ അവർക്കു ഏകമനസ്സും ഏകമാർഗ്ഗവും കൊടുക്കും.

And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.ഞാൻ അവരെ വിട്ടുപിരിയാതെ അവർക്കു നന്മ ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും എന്നിങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ അവരോടു ഒരു ശാശ്വതനിയമം ചെയ്യും; അവർ എന്നെ വിട്ടുമാറാതെയിരിപ്പാൻ എങ്കലുള്ള ഭക്തി ഞാൻ അവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ ആക്കും.

Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.ഞാൻ അവരിൽ സന്തോഷിച്ചു അവർക്കു ഗുണം ചെയ്യും. ഞാൻ പൂർണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടും പൂർണ്ണമനസ്സോടും കൂടെ അവരെ ഈ ദേശത്തു നടും.

For thus says the LORD; Like I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them.യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ ഈ ജനത്തിന്നു ഈ വലിയ അനർത്ഥമൊക്കെയും വരുത്തിയതുപോലെ തന്നേ ഞാൻ അവർക്കു വാഗ്ദത്തം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാനന്മയും അവർക്കു വരുത്തും.

And fields shall be bought in this land, whereof all of you say, It is desolate without man or beast; it is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.മനുഷ്യനും മൃഗവും ഇല്ലാതെ ശൂന്യമായിരിക്കുന്നു, കല്ദയരുടെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ പറയുന്ന ഈ ദേശത്തു അവർ നിലങ്ങളെ വിലെക്കു മേടിക്കും.

Men shall buy fields for money, and subscribe evidences, and seal them, and take witnesses in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, and in the cities of the mountains, and in the cities of the valley, and in the cities of the south: for I will cause their captivity to return, says the LORD.ഞാൻ അവരുടെ പ്രവാസികളെ മടക്കിവരുത്തുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു ബെന്യാമീൻ ദേശത്തും യെരൂശലേമിന്നു ചുറ്റുമുള്ള പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലും യെഹൂദാപട്ടണങ്ങളിലും മലനാട്ടിലെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും താഴ്വീതിയിലെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും തെക്കെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും ആളുകൾ നിലങ്ങളെ വിലെക്കു മേടിച്ചു ആധാരങ്ങൾ എഴുതി മുദ്രയിട്ടു സാക്ഷികളെയും വെക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

Jeremiah 33

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the prison, saying,യിരെമ്യാവു കാവല്പുരമുറ്റത്തു അടെക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു രണ്ടാം പ്രാവശ്യം അവന്നുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

Thus says the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name;അതിനെ അനുഷ്ഠിക്കുന്ന യഹോവ, അതിനെ നിവർത്തിപ്പാൻ നിർണ്ണയിക്കുന്ന യഹോവ, യഹോവ എന്നു നാമം ഉള്ളവൻ തന്നേ, ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു;

Call unto me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you know not.എന്നെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്ക; ഞാൻ നിനക്കുത്തരം അരുളം; നീ അറിയാത്ത മഹത്തായും അഗോചരമായും ഉള്ള കാര്യങ്ങളെ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അറിയിക്കും.

For thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword;വാടകൾക്കും വാളിന്നും എതിരെ തടുത്തു നിൽക്കേണ്ടതിന്നായി ഈ നഗരത്തിൽ പൊളിച്ചിട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന വീടുകളെയും യെഹൂദാരാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ അരമനകളെയും കുറിച്ചു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but it is to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city.അവർ കല്ദയരോടു യുദ്ധം ചെയ്‍വാൻ ചെല്ലുന്നു; എന്നാൽ അതു, ഞാൻ എന്റെ കോപത്തിലും എന്റെ ക്രോധത്തിലും സംഹരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യരുടെ ശവങ്ങൾകൊണ്ടു അവയെ നിറെപ്പാനത്രേ; അവരുടെ സകലദോഷവും നിമിത്തം ഞാൻ എന്റെ മുഖത്തെ ഈ നഗരത്തിന്നു മറെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.ഇതാ, ഞാൻ രോഗശാന്തിയും ആരോഗ്യവും വരുത്തി അവരെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കുകയും സമാധാനത്തിന്റെയും സത്യത്തിന്റെയും സമൃദ്ധി അവർക്കു വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യും.

And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.ഞാൻ യെഹൂദയുടെ പ്രവാസികളെയും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പ്രവാസികളെയും മടക്കിവരുത്തി പണ്ടത്തെപ്പോലെ അവർക്കു അഭിവൃത്തി വരുത്തും.

And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.അവർ എന്നോടു പിഴെച്ചതായ സകല അകൃത്യത്തെയും ഞാൻ നീക്കി അവരെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കയും അവർ പാപം ചെയ്തു എന്നോടു ദ്രോഹിച്ചതായ സകല അകൃത്യങ്ങളെയും മോചിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.ഞാൻ അവർക്കു ചെയ്യുന്ന എല്ലാ നന്മയെയും കുറിച്ചു കേൾക്കുന്ന സകലഭൂജാതികളുടെയും മുമ്പാകെ അതു എനിക്കു ആനന്ദനാമവും പ്രശംസയും മഹത്വവും ആയിരിക്കും; ഞാൻ അതിന്നു വരുത്തുന്ന എല്ലാനന്മയും നിമിത്തവും സർവ്വ സമാധാനവും നിമിത്തവും അവർ പേടിച്ചു വിറെക്കും.

Thus says the LORD; Again there shall be heard in this place, which all of you say shall be desolate without man and without beast, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: മനുഷ്യരും മൃഗവും ഇല്ലാതെ ശൂന്യമായിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ പറയുന്ന ഈ സ്ഥലത്തും യെഹൂദാപട്ടണങ്ങളിലും മനുഷ്യനോ, നിവാസികളോ, മൃഗമോ ഇല്ലാതെ ശൂന്യമായിരിക്കുന്ന യെരൂശലേംവീഥികളിലും

The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy endures for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, says the LORD.ഇനിയും ആനന്ദഘോഷവും സന്തോഷധ്വനിയും മണവാളന്റെ സ്വരവും മണവാട്ടിയുടെ സ്വരവും: സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പിൻ, യഹോവ നല്ലവനല്ലോ, അവന്റെ ദയ എന്നേക്കുമുള്ളതു എന്നു പറയുന്നവരുടെ ശബ്ദവും യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ സ്തോത്രയാഗം കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നവരുടെ ശബ്ദവും കേൾക്കും; ഞാൻ ദേശത്തിന്റെ സ്ഥിതി മാറ്റി പണ്ടത്തെപ്പോലെ ആക്കും എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

Thus says the LORD of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, shall be an habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down.സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: മനുഷ്യനും മൃഗവും ഇല്ലാതെ ശൂന്യമായിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ സ്ഥലത്തും അതിന്റെ സകലപട്ടണങ്ങളിലും ആടുകളെ കിടത്തുന്ന ഇടയന്മാർക്കും ഇനിയും മേച്ചൽപുറം ഉണ്ടാകും;

In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him that tells them, says the LORD.മലനാട്ടിലെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും താഴ്വീതിയിലെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും തെക്കെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും ബെന്യാമീൻ ദേശത്തും യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ ചുറ്റുവട്ടത്തിലും യെഹൂദാപട്ടണങ്ങളിലും ആടുകൾ എണ്ണുന്നവന്റെ കൈക്കു കീഴെ ഇനിയും കടന്നുപോകും എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേൽ ഗൃഹത്തോടും യെഹൂദാഗൃഹത്തോടും അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത നല്ലവചനം നിവർത്തിക്കുന്ന കാലം വരും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.ആ നാളുകളിലും ആ കാലത്തും ഞാൻ ദാവീദിന്നു നീതിയുള്ളോരു മുളയായവനെ മുളെപ്പിക്കും; അവൻ ദേശത്തു നീതിയും ന്യായവും നടത്തും.

In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness.അന്നാളിൽ യെഹൂദാ രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടും; യെരൂശലേം നിർഭയമായ്‍വസിക്കും; അതിന്നു യഹോവ നമ്മുടെ നീതി എന്നു പേർ പറയും.

For thus says the LORD; David shall never lack a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: യിസ്രായേൽ ഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഇരിപ്പാൻ ദാവീദിന്നു ഒരു പുരുഷൻ ഇല്ലാതെ വരികയില്ല.

Neither shall the priests the Levites lack a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle food offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.ദിനംപ്രതി ഹോമയാഗം കഴിപ്പാനും ഭോജനയാഗം ദഹിപ്പിപ്പാനും ഹനനയാഗം അർപ്പിപ്പാനും എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ ലേവ്യ പുരോഹിതന്മാർക്കും ഒരു പുരുഷൻ ഇല്ലാതെ വരികയുമില്ല.

And the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, saying,യിരെമ്യാവിന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു ഉണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

Thus says the LORD; If all of you can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season;യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: തക്കസമയത്തു പകലും രാവും ഇല്ലാതിരിക്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം പകലിനോടുള്ള എന്റെ നിയമവും രാത്രിയോടുള്ള എന്റെ നിയമവും ദുർബ്ബലമാക്കുവാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു കഴിയുമെങ്കിൽ,

Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിന്നു അവന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഇരുന്നു വാഴുവാൻ ഒരു മകൻ ഇല്ലാതെ വരത്തക്കവണ്ണം അവനോടും എന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷകന്മാരായ ലേവ്യപുരോഹിതന്മാരോടും ഉള്ള എന്റെ നിയമവും ദുർബ്ബലമായ്‍വരാം.

As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me.ആകാശത്തിലെ സൈന്യത്തെ എണ്ണുവാനും കടല്പുറത്തെ മണൽ അളക്കുവാനും കഴിയാത്തതുപോലെ ഞാൻ എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിന്റെ സന്തതിയെയും എന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷകന്മാരായ ലേവ്യരെയും വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കും.

Moreover the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying,യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു യിരെമ്യാവിന്നുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

Consider you not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD has chosen, he has even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.യഹോവ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന രണ്ടു വംശങ്ങളെയും അവൻ തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞു എന്നു ഈ ജനം പറയുന്നതു നീ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുന്നില്ലയോ? ഇങ്ങനെ അവൻ എന്റെ ജനത്തെ അതു ഇനി ഒരു ജാതിയല്ല എന്നു ദുഷിച്ചു പറയുന്നു.

Thus says the LORD; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; പകലിനോടും രാത്രിയോടും ഉള്ള എന്റെ നിയമം നിലനില്ക്കുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ, ഞാൻ ആകാശത്തിന്റെയും ഭൂമിയുടെയും വ്യവസ്ഥ നിയമിച്ചിട്ടില്ലെങ്കിൽ,

Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.ഞാൻ യാക്കോബിന്റെയും എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിന്റെയും സന്തതിയെ അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെയും യിസ്ഹാക്കിന്റെയും യാക്കോബിന്റെയും സന്തതിക്കു അധിപതിമാരായിരിപ്പാൻ അവന്റെ സന്തതിയിൽ നിന്നു ഒരാളെ എടുക്കാതവണ്ണം തള്ളിക്കളയും. അവരുടെ പ്രവാസികളെ ഞാൻ മടക്കിവരുത്തുകയും അവർക്കു കരുണകാണിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.
