Psalms 124

If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say;യിസ്രായേൽ പറയേണ്ടതെന്തെന്നാൽ യഹോവ നമ്മുടെ പക്ഷത്തില്ലായിരുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ

If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us:മനുഷ്യർ നമ്മോടു എതിർത്തപ്പോൾ, യഹോവ നമ്മുടെ പക്ഷത്തില്ലായിരുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ,

Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:അവരുടെ കോപം നമ്മുടെനേരെ ജ്വലിച്ചപ്പോൾ, അവർ നമ്മെ ജീവനോടെ വിഴുങ്ങിക്കളയുമായിരുന്നു;

Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:വെള്ളം നമ്മെ ഒഴുക്കിക്കളയുമായിരുന്നു, നദി നമ്മുടെ പ്രാണന്നു മീതെ കവിയുമായിരുന്നു;

Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.പൊങ്ങിയിരുന്ന വെള്ളം നമ്മുടെ പ്രാണന്നു മീതെ കവിയുമായിരുന്നു.

Blessed be the LORD, who has not given us as a prey to their teeth.നമ്മെ അവരുടെ പല്ലിന്നു ഇരയായി കൊടുക്കായ്കയാൽ യഹോവ വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ.

Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.വേട്ടക്കാരുടെ കണിയിൽനിന്നു പക്ഷിയെന്നപോലെ നമ്മുടെ പ്രാണൻ വഴുതിപ്പോന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; കണി പൊട്ടി നാം വഴുതിപ്പോന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.നമ്മുടെ സഹായം ആകാശത്തെയും ഭൂമിയെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

Psalms 125

They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abides for ever.യഹോവയിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നവർ കുലുങ്ങാതെ എന്നേക്കും നില്ക്കുന്ന സീയോൻ പർവ്വതം പോലെയാകുന്നു.

As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.പർവ്വതങ്ങൾ യെരൂശലേമിനെ ചുറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നു. യഹോവ ഇന്നുമുതൽ എന്നേക്കും തന്റെ ജനത്തെ ചുറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.നീതിമാന്മാർ നീതികേടിലേക്കു കൈ നീട്ടാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ ചെങ്കോൽ നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ അവകാശത്തിന്മേൽ ഇരിക്കയില്ല.

Do good, O LORD, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.യഹോവേ, ഗുണവാന്മാർക്കും ഹൃദയപരമാർത്ഥികൾക്കും നന്മ ചെയ്യേണമേ.

As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.എന്നാൽ വളഞ്ഞവഴികളിലേക്കു തിരിയുന്നവരെ യഹോവ ദുഷ്‌പ്രവൃത്തിക്കാരോടുകൂടെ പോകുമാറാക്കട്ടെ. യിസ്രായേലിന്മേൽ സമാധാനം വരുമാറാകട്ടെ.

Psalms 126

When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.യഹോവ സീയോന്റെ പ്രവാസികളെ മടക്കിവരുത്തിയപ്പോൾ ഞങ്ങൾ സ്വപ്നം കാണുന്നവരെപ്പോലെ ആയിരുന്നു.

Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD has done great things for them.അന്നു ഞങ്ങളുടെ വായിൽ ചിരിയും ഞങ്ങളുടെ നാവിന്മേൽ ആർപ്പും നിറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. യഹോവ അവരിൽ വങ്കാര്യങ്ങളെ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ അന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

The LORD has done great things for us; whereof we are glad.യഹോവ ഞങ്ങളിൽ വങ്കാര്യങ്ങളെ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞങ്ങൾ സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു.

Return our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south.യഹോവേ, തെക്കെനാട്ടിലെ തോടുകളെപ്പോലെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവാസികളെ മടക്കിവരുത്തേണമേ.

They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.കണ്ണുനീരോടെ വിതെക്കുന്നവർ ആർപ്പോടെ കൊയ്യും.

He that goes forth and weeps, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.വിത്തു ചുമന്നു കരഞ്ഞും വിതെച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു നടക്കുന്നു; കറ്റ ചുമന്നും ആർത്തുംകൊണ്ടു വരുന്നു.
