Psalms 127

Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman wakes but in vain.യഹോവ വീടു പണിയാതിരുന്നാൽ പണിയുന്നവർ വൃഥാ അദ്ധ്വാനിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവ പട്ടണം കാക്കാതിരുന്നാൽ കാവൽക്കാരൻ വൃഥാ ജാഗരിക്കുന്നു.

It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he gives his beloved sleep.നിങ്ങൾ അതികാലത്തു എഴുന്നേല്ക്കുന്നതും നന്നാ താമസിച്ചു കിടപ്പാൻ പോകുന്നതും കഠിനപ്രയത്നം ചെയ്തു ഉപജീവിക്കുന്നതും വ്യർത്ഥമത്രേ; തന്റെ പ്രിയന്നോ, അവൻ അതു ഉറക്കത്തിൽ കൊടുക്കുന്നു.

Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.മക്കൾ, യഹോവ നല്കുന്ന അവകാശവും ഉദര ഫലം, അവൻ തരുന്ന പ്രതിഫലവും തന്നേ.

As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.വീരന്റെ കയ്യിലെ അസ്ത്രങ്ങൾ എങ്ങനെയോ അങ്ങനെയാകുന്നു യൌവനത്തിലെ മക്കൾ.

Happy is the man that has his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.അവയെക്കൊണ്ടു തന്റെ ആവനാഴിക നിറെച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന പുരുഷൻ ഭാഗ്യവാൻ; നഗരവാതിൽക്കൽവെച്ചു ശത്രുക്കളോടു സംസാരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അങ്ങനെയുള്ളവർ ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകയില്ല.

Psalms 128

Blessed is every one that fears the LORD; that walks in his ways.യഹോവയെ ഭയപ്പെട്ടു, അവന്റെ വഴികളിൽ നടക്കുന്ന ഏവനും ഭാഗ്യവാൻ;

For you shall eat the labour of yours hands: happy shall you be, and it shall be well with you.നിന്റെ കൈകളുടെ അദ്ധ്വാനഫലം നീ തിന്നും; നീ ഭാഗ്യവാൻ; നിനക്കു നന്മ വരും.

Your wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of yours house: your children like olive plants round about your table.നിന്റെ ഭാര്യ നിന്റെ വീട്ടിന്നകത്തു ഫലപ്രദമായ മുന്തിരിവള്ളിപോലെയും നിന്റെ മക്കൾ നിന്റെ മേശെക്കു ചുറ്റും ഒലിവുതൈകൾപോലെയും ഇരിക്കും.

Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that fears the LORD.യഹോവാഭക്തനായ പുരുഷൻ ഇങ്ങനെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവനാകും.

The LORD shall bless you out of Zion: and you shall see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life.യഹോവ സീയോനിൽനിന്നു നിന്നെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും; നിന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലമൊക്കെയും നീ യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ നന്മയെ കാണും.

Yea, you shall see your children's children, and peace upon Israel.നിന്റെ മക്കളുടെ മക്കളെയും നീ കാണും. യിസ്രായേലിന്മേൽ സമാധാനം ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ.

Psalms 129

Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth, may Israel now say:യിസ്രായേൽ പറയേണ്ടതെന്തെന്നാൽ: അവർ എന്റെ ബാല്യംമുതൽ പലപ്പോഴും എന്നെ ഉപദ്രവിച്ചു;

Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against me.അവർ എന്റെ ബാല്യംമുതൽ പലപ്പോഴും എന്നെ ഉപദ്രവിച്ചു; എങ്കിലും അവർ എന്നെ ജയിച്ചില്ല.

The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows.ഉഴവുകാർ എന്റെ മുതുകിന്മേൽ ഉഴുതു; ഉഴവു ചാലുകളെ അവർ നീളത്തിൽ കീറി.

The LORD is righteous: he has cut asunder the cords of the wicked.യഹോവ നീതിമാനാകുന്നു; അവൻ ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ കയറുകളെ അറുത്തുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.സീയോനെ പകെക്കുന്നവരൊക്കെയും ലജ്ജിച്ചു പിന്തിരിഞ്ഞുപോകട്ടെ.

Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withers before it grows up:വളരുന്നതിന്നുമുമ്പെ ഉണങ്ങിപ്പോകുന്ന പുരപ്പുറത്തെ പുല്ലുപോലെ അവർ ആകട്ടെ.

Wherewith the mower fills not his hand; nor he that binds sheaves his bosom.കൊയ്യുന്നവൻ അതുകൊണ്ടു തന്റെ കൈയാകട്ടെ കറ്റ കെട്ടുന്നവൻ തന്റെ മാർവ്വിടം ആകട്ടെ നിറെക്കയില്ല.

Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of the LORD be upon you: we bless you in the name of the LORD.യഹോവയുടെ അനുഗ്രഹം നിങ്ങൾക്കുണ്ടാകട്ടെ; യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിൽ ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു എന്നിങ്ങനെ വഴിപോകുന്നവർ പറയുന്നതുമില്ല.
