Zechariah 9

The burden of the word of the LORD in the land of Hadrach, and Damascus shall be the rest thereof: when the eyes of man, as of all the tribes of Israel, shall be toward the LORD.പ്രവാചകം. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു ഹദ്രാക്ക് ദേശത്തിന്നു വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ദമ്മേശെക്കിന്മേൽ അതു വന്നമരും; യഹോവ, മനുഷ്യരിലും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സകല ഗോത്രങ്ങളിലും ദൃഷ്ടിവെക്കുന്നു.

And Hamath also shall border thereby; Tyrus, and Zidon, though it be very wise.അതിനോടു തൊട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ഹമാത്തിന്നും ജ്ഞാനം ഏറിയ സോരിന്നും സീദോന്നും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ.

And Tyrus did build herself a strong hold, and heaped up silver as the dust, and fine gold as the mire of the streets.സോർ തനിക്കു ഒരു കോട്ട പണിതു, പൊടിപോലെ വെള്ളിയും വീഥികളിലെ ചെളിപോലെ തങ്കവും സ്വരൂപിച്ചു.

Behold, the LORD will cast her out, and he will strike her power in the sea; and she shall be devoured with fire.എന്നാൽ കർത്താവു അവളെ ഇറക്കി, അവളുടെ കൊത്തളം കടലിൽ ഇട്ടുകളയും; അവൾ തീക്കു ഇരയായ്തീരുകയും ചെയ്യും.

Ashkelon shall see it, and fear; Gaza also shall see it, and be very sorrowful, and Ekron; for her expectation shall be ashamed; and the king shall perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon shall not be inhabited.അസ്കലോൻ അതു കണ്ടു ഭയപ്പെടും; ഗസ്സയും എക്രോനും കണ്ടു ഏറ്റവും വിറെക്കും; അവളുടെ പ്രത്യാശെക്കു ഭംഗം വരുമല്ലോ; ഗസ്സയിൽനിന്നു രാജാവു നശിച്ചുപോകും; അസ്കലോന്നു നിവാസികൾ ഇല്ലാതെയാകും.

And a bastard shall dwell in Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines.അസ്തോദിൽ ഒരു കൌലടേയജാതി പാർക്കും; ഫെലിസ്ത്യരുടെ ഗർവ്വം ഞാൻ ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും.

And I will take away his blood out of his mouth, and his abominations from between his teeth: but he that remains, even he, shall be for our God, and he shall be as a governor in Judah, and Ekron as a Jebusite.ഞാൻ അവന്റെ രക്തം അവന്റെ വായിൽനിന്നും അവന്റെ വെറുപ്പുകൾ അവന്റെ പല്ലിന്നിടയിൽനിന്നും നീക്കിക്കളയും; എന്നാൽ അവനും നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു ഒരു ശേഷിപ്പായ്തീരും; അവൻ യെഹൂദയിൽ ഒരു മേധാവിയെപ്പോലെയും എക്രോൻ ഒരു യെബൂസ്യനെപ്പോലെയും ആകും.

And I will camp about mine house because of the army, because of him that passes by, and because of him that returns: and no oppressor shall pass through them any more: for now have I seen with mine eyes.ആരും പോക്കുവരുത്തു ചെയ്യാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ ഒരു പട്ടാളമായി എന്റെ ആലയത്തിന്നു ചുറ്റും പാളയമിറങ്ങും; ഇനി ഒരു പീഡകനും അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽകൂടി കടക്കയില്ല; ഇപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ സ്വന്തകണ്ണുകൊണ്ടു കണ്ടുവല്ലോ.

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, your King comes unto you: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.സീയോൻ പുത്രിയേ, ഉച്ചത്തിൽ ഘോഷിച്ചാനന്ദിക്ക; യെരൂശലേംപുത്രിയേ, ആർപ്പിടുക! ഇതാ, നിന്റെ രാജാവു നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുന്നു; അവൻ നീതിമാനും ജയശാലിയും താഴ്മയുള്ളവനും ആയി കഴുതപ്പുറത്തും പെൺകഴുതയുടെ കുട്ടിയായ ചെറുകഴുതപ്പുറത്തും കയറിവരുന്നു.

And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth.ഞാൻ എഫ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു രഥത്തെയും യെരൂശലേമിൽനിന്നു കുതിരയെയും ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും; പടവില്ലും ഒടിഞ്ഞുപോകും; അവൻ ജാതികളോടു സമാധാനം കല്പിക്കും; അവന്റെ ആധിപത്യം സമുദ്രംമുതൽ സമുദ്രംവരെയും നദിമുതൽ ഭൂമിയുടെ അറ്റങ്ങളോളവും ആയിരിക്കും.

As for you also, by the blood of your covenant I have sent forth your prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water.നീയോ--നിന്റെ നിയമരക്തം ഹേതുവായി ഞാൻ നിന്റെ ബദ്ധന്മാരെ വെള്ളമില്ലാത്ത കുഴിയിൽനിന്നു വിട്ടയക്കും.

Turn you to the strong hold, all of you prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare that I will render double unto you;പ്രത്യാശയുള്ള ബദ്ധന്മാരേ, കോട്ടയിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിവരുവിൻ; ഞാൻ നിനക്കു ഇരട്ടിയായി പകരം നല്കും എന്നു ഞാൻ ഇന്നു തന്നേ പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നു.

When I have bent Judah for me, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece, and made you as the sword of a mighty man.ഞാൻ എനിക്കു യെഹൂദയെ വില്ലായി കുലെച്ചും എഫ്രയീമിനെ നിറെച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു; സീയോനേ, ഞാൻ നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെ യവനദേശമേ, നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെ നേരെ ഉണർത്തി നിന്നെ ഒരു വീരന്റെ വാൾ പോലെയാക്കും.

And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the LORD God shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south.യഹോവ അവർക്കു മീതെ പ്രത്യക്ഷനാകും; അവന്റെ അസ്ത്രം മിന്നൽ പോലെ പുറപ്പെടും; യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു കാഹളം ഊതി തെക്കൻ ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റുകളിൽ വരും.

The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, and as the corners of the altar.സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ അവരെ പരിചകൊണ്ടു മറെക്കും; അവർ മാംസം തിന്നു കവിണക്കല്ലു ചവിട്ടിക്കളകയും രക്തം കുടിച്ചു വീഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടെന്നപോലെ ഘോഷിക്കയും യാഗകലശങ്ങൾപോലെയും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെ കോണുകൾപോലെയും നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown, lifted up as an explicit sign upon his land.അന്നാളിൽ അവരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ അവരെ തന്റെ ജനമായ ആട്ടിൻ കൂട്ടത്തെപ്പോലെ രക്ഷിക്കും; അവർ അവന്റെ ദേശത്തു ഒരു കിരീടത്തിന്റെ രത്നംപോലെ പൊങ്ങി ശോഭിക്കും.

For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! corn shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maids.അതിന്നു എത്ര ശ്രീത്വവും അതിന്നു എത്ര സൌന്ദര്യവും ഉണ്ടു; ധാന്യം യുവാക്കളെയും വീഞ്ഞു യുവതികളെയും പുഷ്ടീകരിക്കുന്നു.

Zechariah 10

Ask all of you of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.പിന്മഴയുടെ കാലത്തു യഹോവയോടു മഴെക്കു അപേക്ഷിപ്പിൻ; യഹോവ മിന്നൽപിണർ ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ; അവൻ അവർക്കു വയലിലെ ഏതു സസ്യത്തിന്നുംവേണ്ടി മാരി പെയ്യിച്ചുകൊടുക്കും.

For the idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they were troubled, because there was no shepherd.ഗൃഹബിംബങ്ങൾ മിത്ഥ്യാത്വം സംസാരിക്കയും ലക്ഷണം പറയുന്നവർ വ്യാജം ദർശിച്ചു വ്യർത്ഥസ്വപ്നം പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു വൃഥാ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു അവർ ആടുകളെപ്പോലെ പുറപ്പെട്ടു ഇടയൻ ഇല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു വലഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

Mine anger was kindled against the shepherds, and I punished the goats: for the LORD of hosts has visited his flock the house of Judah, and has made them as his goodly horse in the battle.എന്റെ കോപം ഇടയന്മാരുടെ നേരെ ജ്വലിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റന്മാരെ സന്ദർശിക്കും; സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ യെഹൂദാഗൃഹമായ തന്റെ ആട്ടിൻ കൂട്ടത്തെ സന്ദർശിച്ചു അവരെ പടയിൽ തനിക്കു മനോഹരതുരഗം ആക്കും.

Out of him came forth the corner, out of him the nail, out of him the battle bow, out of him every oppressor together.അവന്റെ പക്കൽനിന്നു മൂലക്കല്ലും അവന്റെ പക്കൽനിന്നു ആണിയും അവന്റെ പക്കൽനിന്നു പടവില്ലും അവന്റെ പക്കൽനിന്നു ഏതു അധിപതിയും വരും.

And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the LORD is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.അവർ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ശത്രുക്കളെ വീഥികളിലെ ചേറ്റിൽ ചവിട്ടിക്കളയുന്ന വീരന്മാരെപ്പോലെയാകും; യഹോവ അവരോടുകൂടെയുള്ളതുകൊണ്ടു അവർ കുതിരച്ചേവകർ ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം പൊരുതും.

And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am the LORD their God, and will hear them.ഞാൻ യെഹൂദാഗൃഹത്തെ ബലപ്പെടുത്തുകയും യോസേഫ്ഗൃഹത്തെ രക്ഷിക്കയും എനിക്കു അവരോടു കരുണയുള്ളതുകൊണ്ടു അവരെ മടക്കിവരുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യും; ഞാൻ അവരെ തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ലാത്തതുപോലെയിരിക്കും; ഞാൻ അവരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയല്ലോ; ഞാൻ അവർക്കു ഉത്തരമരുളും.

And they of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yea, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the LORD.എഫ്രയീമ്യർ വീരനെപ്പോലെയാകും; അവരുടെ ഹൃദയം വീഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടെന്നപോലെ സന്തോഷിക്കും; അവരുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ അതു കണ്ടു സന്തോഷിക്കും; അവരുടെ ഹൃദയം യഹോവയിൽ ഘോഷിച്ചാനന്ദിക്കും.

I will hiss for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased.ഞാൻ അവരെ വീണ്ടെടുത്തിരിക്കയാൽ അവരെ ചൂളകുത്തി ശേഖരിക്കും; അവർ പെരുകിയിരുന്നതുപോലെ പെരുകും.

And I will sow them among the people: and they shall remember me in far countries; and they shall live with their children, and return.ഞാൻ അവരെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ വിതറും; ദൂരദേശങ്ങളിൽവെച്ചു അവർ എന്നെ ഓർക്കും; അവർ മക്കളോടുകൂടെ ജീവിച്ചു മടങ്ങിവരും.

I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and place shall not be found for them.ഞാൻ അവരെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു മടക്കിവരുത്തും; അശ്ശൂരിൽനിന്നു അവരെ ശേഖരിക്കും; ഗിലെയാദ് ദേശത്തിലേക്കും ലെബാനോനിലേക്കും അവരെ കൊണ്ടുവരും; അവർക്കു ഇടം പോരാതെവരും.

And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall strike the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away.അവൻ കഷ്ടതയുടെ സമുദ്രത്തിലൂടെ കടന്നു, സമുദ്രത്തിലെ ഓളങ്ങളെ അടിക്കും; നീലനദിയുടെ ആഴങ്ങളൊക്കെയും വറ്റിപ്പോകയും അശ്ശൂരിന്റെ ഗർവ്വം താഴുകയും മിസ്രയീമിന്റെ ചെങ്കോൽ നീങ്ങിപ്പോകയും ചെയ്യും.

And I will strengthen them in the LORD; and they shall walk up and down in his name, says the LORD.ഞാൻ അവരെ യഹോവയിൽ ബലപ്പെടുത്തും; അവർ അവന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ സഞ്ചരിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

Zechariah 11

Open your doors, O Lebanon, that the fire may devour your cedars.ലെബാനോനേ, നിന്റെ ദേവദാരുക്കൾ തീക്കു ഇരയായ്തീരേണ്ടതിന്നു വാതിൽ തുറന്നുവെക്കുക.

Wail, fir tree; for the cedar is fallen; because the mighty are spoiled: wail, O all of you oaks of Bashan; for the forest of the vintage has come down.ദേവദാരു വീണും മഹത്തുക്കൾ നശിച്ചും ഇരിക്കയാൽ സരളവൃക്ഷമേ, ഓളിയിടുക; ദുർഗ്ഗമവനം വീണിരിക്കയാൽ ബാശാനിലെ കരുവേലങ്ങളേ, ഓളിയിടുവിൻ!

There is a voice of the howling of the shepherds; for their glory is spoiled: a voice of the roaring of young lions; for the pride of Jordan is spoiled.ഇടയന്മാരുടെ മഹത്വം നശിച്ചിട്ടു അവർ മുറയിടുന്നതു കേട്ടുവോ? യോർദ്ദാന്റെ മുറ്റു കാടു നശിച്ചിട്ടു ബാലസിംഹങ്ങളുടെ ഗർജ്ജനം കേട്ടുവോ?

Thus says the LORD my God; Feed the flock of the slaughter;എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: അറുപ്പാനുള്ള ആടുകളെ മേയ്ക്ക.

Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: and they that sell them say, Blessed be the LORD; for I am rich: and their own shepherds pity them not.അവയെ മേടിക്കുന്നവർ കുറ്റം എന്നു എണ്ണാതെ അവയെ അറുക്കുന്നു; അവയെ വില്ക്കുന്നവരോ: ഞാൻ ധനവാനായ്തീർന്നതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവെക്കു സ്തോത്രം എന്നു പറയുന്നു; അവയുടെ ഇടയന്മാർ അവയെ ആദരിക്കുന്നില്ല.

For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, says the LORD: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into his neighbour's hand, and into the hand of his king: and they shall strike the land, and out of their hand I will not deliver them.ഞാൻ ഇനി ദേശനിവാസികളെ ആദരിക്കയില്ല എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു; ഞാൻ മനുഷ്യരെ ഓരോരുത്തനെ അവനവന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ കയ്യിലും അവനവന്റെ രാജാവിന്റെ കയ്യിലും ഏല്പിക്കും; അവൻ ദേശത്തെ തകർത്തുകളയും; അവരുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു ഞാൻ അവരെ രക്ഷിക്കയുമില്ല.

And I will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. And I took unto me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.അങ്ങനെ അറുപ്പാനുള്ള ആടുകളെ, കൂട്ടത്തിൽ അരിഷ്ടത ഏറിയവയെ തന്നേ, മേയിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ രണ്ടു കോൽ എടുത്തു ഒന്നിന്നു ഇമ്പം എന്നും മറ്റേതിന്നു ഒരുമ എന്നും പേരിട്ടു; അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ ആടുകളെ മേയിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul loathed them, and their soul also abhorred me.എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ ഒരു മാസത്തിൽ മൂന്നു ഇടയന്മാരെ ഛേദിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു; എനിക്കു അവരോടു വെറുപ്പു തോന്നി, അവർക്കു എന്നോടും നീരസം തോന്നിയിരുന്നു.

Then said I, I will not feed you: that that dies, let it die; and that that is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another.ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ മേയ്ക്കയില്ല; മരിക്കുന്നതു മരിക്കട്ടെ, കാണാതെപോകുന്നതു കാണാതൈ പോകട്ടെ; ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവ ഒന്നു ഒന്നിന്റെ മാംസം തിന്നുകളയട്ടെ എന്നു ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു.

And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the people.അനന്തരം ഞാൻ ഇമ്പം എന്ന കോൽ എടുത്തു: ഞാൻ സകലജാതികളോടും ചെയ്തിരുന്ന എന്റെ നിയമത്തെ മുറിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അതിനെ മുറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the LORD.അതു ആ ദിവസത്തിൽ തന്നേ മുറിഞ്ഞുപോയി; അങ്ങനെ, എന്നെ നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്ന കൂട്ടത്തിൽ അരിഷ്ടതയേറിയവ അതു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു എന്നു ഗ്രഹിച്ചു.

And I said unto them, If all of you think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.ഞാൻ അവരോടു: നിങ്ങൾക്കു മനസ്സുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ എന്റെ കൂലി തരുവിൻ; ഇല്ലെന്നുവരികിൽ തരേണ്ടാ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; അങ്ങനെ അവർ എന്റെ കൂലിയായി മുപ്പതു വെള്ളിക്കാശു തൂക്കിത്തന്നു.

And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was appraised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD.എന്നാൽ യഹോവ എന്നോടു: അതു ഭണ്ഡാരത്തിൽ ഇട്ടുകളക; അവർ എന്നെ മതിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന മനോഹരമായോരു വില തന്നേ എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു; അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ ആ മുപ്പതു വെള്ളിക്കാശു വാങ്ങി യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലെ ഭണ്ഡാരത്തിൽ ഇട്ടുകളഞ്ഞു.

Then I cut asunder mine other staff, even Bands, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.അനന്തരം ഞാൻ, യെഹൂദയും യിസ്രായേലും തമ്മിലുള്ള സഹോദരത്വം ഭിന്നിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഒരുമ എന്ന മറ്റെ കോൽ മുറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

And the LORD said unto me, Take unto you yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.എന്നാൽ യഹോവ എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതു: നീ ഇനി ഒരു തുമ്പുകെട്ട ഇടയന്റെ കോപ്പു എടുത്തുകൊൾക.

For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that stands still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces.ഞാൻ ദേശത്തിൽ ഒരു ഇടയനെ എഴുന്നേല്പിക്കും; അവൻ കാണാതെപോയവയെ നോക്കുകയോ ചിതറിപ്പോയവയെ അന്വേഷിക്കയോ മുറിവേറ്റവയെ പൊറുപ്പിക്കയോ ദീനമില്ലാത്തവയെ പോറ്റുകയോ ചെയ്യാതെ തടിച്ചവയുടെ മാംസം തിന്നുകയും കുളമ്പുകളെ കീറിക്കളകയും ചെയ്യും.
