Psalms 85

Lord, you have been favourable unto your land: you have brought back the captivity of Jacob.യഹോവേ, നീ നിന്റെ ദേശത്തെ കടാക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; യാക്കോബിന്റെ പ്രവാസികളെ തിരിച്ചുവരുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

You have forgiven the iniquity of your people, you have covered all their sin. Selah.നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ അകൃത്യം നീ മോചിച്ചു; അവരുടെ പാപം ഒക്കെയും നീ മൂടിക്കളഞ്ഞു. സേലാ.

You have taken away all your wrath: you have turned yourself from the fierceness of yours anger.നിന്റെ ക്രോധം മുഴുവനും നീ അടക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു; നിന്റെ ഉഗ്രകോപം നീ വിട്ടുതിരിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause yours anger toward us to cease.ഞങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷയുടെ ദൈവമേ, ഞങ്ങളെ യഥാസ്ഥാനപ്പെടുത്തേണമേ; ഞങ്ങളോടുള്ള നിന്റെ നീരസം മതിയാക്കേണമേ.

Will you be angry with us for ever? will you draw out yours anger to all generations?നീ എന്നും ഞങ്ങളോടു കോപിക്കുമോ? തലമുറതലമുറയോളം നിന്റെ കോപം ദീർഘിച്ചിരിക്കുമോ?

Will you not revive us again: that your people may rejoice in you?നിന്റെ ജനം നിന്നിൽ ആനന്ദിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ ഞങ്ങളെ വീണ്ടും ജീവിപ്പിക്കയില്ലയോ?

Show us your mercy, O LORD, and grant us your salvation.യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ ദയ ഞങ്ങളെ കാണിക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ രക്ഷ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു നല്കേണമേ.

I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not return to folly.യഹോവയായ ദൈവം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നതു ഞാൻ കേൾക്കും; അവർ ഭോഷത്വത്തിലേക്കു വീണ്ടും തിരിയാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻ തന്റെ ജനത്തോടും തന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാരോടും സമാധാനം അരുളും.

Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.തിരുമഹത്വം നമ്മുടെ ദേശത്തിൽ വസിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന്റെ രക്ഷ അവന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാരോടു അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു നിശ്ചയം.

Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.ദയയും വിശ്വസ്തതയും തമ്മിൽ എതിരേറ്റിരിക്കുന്നു. നീതിയും സമാധാനവും തമ്മിൽ ചുംബിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.വിശ്വസ്തത ഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നു മുളെക്കുന്നു; നീതി സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽനിന്നു നോക്കുന്നു.

Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.യഹോവ നന്മ നല്കുകയും നമ്മുടെ ദേശം വിളതരികയും ചെയ്യും.

Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.നീതി അവന്നു മുമ്പായി നടക്കയും അവന്റെ കാൽചുവടുകളുടെ വഴി നോക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.

Psalms 86

Bow down yours ear, O LORD, hear me: for I am poor and needy.യഹോവേ, ചെവി ചായിക്കേണമേ; എനിക്കുത്തരമരുളേണമേ; ഞാൻ എളിയവനും ദരിദ്രനും ആകുന്നു.

Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O you my God, save your servant that trusts in you.എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ കാക്കേണമേ; ഞാൻ നിന്റെ ഭക്തനാകുന്നു; എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, നിന്നിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്ന അടിയനെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ.

Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto you daily.കർത്താവേ, എന്നോടു കൃപയുണ്ടാകേണമേ; ഇടവിടാതെ ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു.

Rejoice the soul of your servant: for unto you, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.അടിയന്റെ ഉള്ളത്തെ സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കേണമേ; യഹോവേ, നിങ്കലേക്കു ഞാൻ എന്റെ ഉള്ളം ഉയർത്തുന്നു.

For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive; and abundant in mercy unto all them that call upon you.കർത്താവേ, നീ നല്ലവനും ക്ഷമിക്കുന്നവനും നിന്നോടു അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നവരോടൊക്കെയും മഹാദയാലുവും ആകുന്നു.

Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.യഹോവേ, എന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥനയെ ചെവിക്കൊള്ളേണമേ. എന്റെ യാചനകളെ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കേണമേ.

In the day of my trouble I will call upon you: for you will answer me.നീ എനിക്കുത്തരമരുളുകയാൽ എന്റെ കഷ്ടദിവസത്തിൽ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

Among the gods there is none like unto you, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto your works.കർത്താവേ, ദേവന്മാരിൽ നിനക്കു തുല്യനായവനില്ല; നിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾക്കു തുല്യമായ ഒരു പ്രവൃത്തിയുമില്ല.

All nations whom you have made shall come and worship before you, O Lord; and shall glorify your name.കർത്താവേ, നീ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ സകലജാതികളും തിരുമുമ്പിൽ വന്നു നമസ്കരിക്കും; അവർ നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തും.

For you are great, and do wondrous things: you are God alone.നീ വലിയവനും അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നവനുമല്ലോ; നീ മാത്രം ദൈവമാകുന്നു.

Teach me your way, O LORD; I will walk in your truth: unite my heart to fear your name.യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ വഴി എനിക്കു കാണിച്ചുതരേണമേ; എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ സത്യത്തിൽ നടക്കും; നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുവാൻ എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തെ ഏകാഗ്രമാക്കേണമേ.

I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify your name for evermore.എന്റെ ദൈവമായ കർത്താവേ, ഞാൻ പൂർണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടെ നിന്നെ സ്തുതിക്കും; നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ എന്നേക്കും മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തും.

For great is your mercy toward me: and you have delivered my soul from the low hell.എന്നോടുള്ള നിന്റെ ദയ വലിയതല്ലോ; നീ എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ അധമപാതാളത്തിൽ നിന്നു രക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set you before them.ദൈവമേ, അഹങ്കാരികൾ എന്നോടു എതിർത്തിരിക്കുന്നു. ഘോരന്മാരുടെ കൂട്ടം എനിക്കു പ്രാണഹാനി വരുത്തുവാൻ നോക്കുന്നു. അവർ നിന്നെ ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.

But you, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, long suffering, and abundant in mercy and truth.നീയോ കർത്താവേ, കരുണയും കൃപയും നിറഞ്ഞ ദൈവമാകുന്നു; ദീർഘക്ഷമയും മഹാദയയും വിശ്വസ്തതയുമുള്ളവൻ തന്നേ.

O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give your strength unto your servant, and save the son of yours handmaid.എങ്കലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞു എന്നോടു കൃപയുണ്ടാകേണമേ; നിന്റെ ദാസന്നു നിന്റെ ശക്തി തന്നു, നിന്റെ ദാസിയുടെ പുത്രനെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ.

Show me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because you, LORD, have helped me, and comforted me.എന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവർ കണ്ടു ലജ്ജിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നന്മെക്കായി ഒരു അടയാളം എനിക്കു തരേണമേ; യഹോവേ, നീ എന്നെ സഹായിച്ചു ആശ്വസിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

Psalms 87

His foundation is in the holy mountains.യഹോവ വിശുദ്ധപർവ്വതത്തിൽ സ്ഥാപിച്ച നഗരത്തെ,

The LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.സീയോന്റെ പടിവാതിലുകളെ തന്നേ, യാക്കോബിന്റെ സകലനിവാസങ്ങളെക്കാളും അധികം സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു.

Glorious things are spoken of you, O city of God. Selah.ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നഗരമേ, നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു മഹത്വമുള്ള കാര്യങ്ങൾ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. സേലാ.

I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this man was born there.ഞാൻ എന്റെ പരിചയക്കാരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ രഹബിനെയും ബാബേലിനെയും ഫെലിസ്ത്യർ, സോർ, കൂശ് എന്നിവരെയും പ്രസ്താവിക്കും; ഇവൻ അവിടെ ജനിച്ചു.

And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her.ഇവനും അവനും അവിടെ ജനിച്ചു എന്നും സീയോനെക്കുറിച്ചു പറയും; അത്യുന്നതൻ തന്നേ അതിനെ സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

The LORD shall count, when he writes up the people, that this man was born there. Selah.യഹോവ വംശങ്ങളെ എഴുതുമ്പോൾ: ഇവൻ അവിടെ ജനിച്ചു എന്നിങ്ങനെ എണ്ണും സേലാ.

As well the singers as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs are in you.എന്റെ ഉറവുകൾ ഒക്കെയും നിന്നിൽ ആകുന്നു എന്നു സംഗീതക്കാരും നൃത്തം ചെയ്യുന്നവരും ഒരുപോലെ പറയും.
