Luke 10

After these things the LORD appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, where he himself would come.അനന്തരം കർത്താവു വേറെ എഴുപതു പേരെ നിയമിച്ചു, താൻ ചെല്ലുവാനുള്ള ഓരോ പട്ടണത്തിലേക്കും സ്ഥലത്തിലേക്കും അവരെ തനിക്കു മുമ്പായി ഈരണ്ടായി അയച്ചു, അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു:

Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray all of you therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.കൊയ്ത്തു വളരെ ഉണ്ടു സത്യം; വേലക്കാരോ ചുരുക്കം; ആകയാൽ കൊയ്ത്തിന്റെ യജമാനനോടു തന്റെ കൊയ്ത്തിന്നു വേലക്കാരെ അയക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അപേക്ഷിപ്പിൻ.

Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.പോകുവിൻ; ചെന്നായ്ക്കളുടെ നടുവിൽ കുഞ്ഞാടുകളെപ്പോലെ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ അയക്കുന്നു.

Carry neither purse, nor pouch, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.സഞ്ചിയും പൊക്കണവും ചെരിപ്പും എടുക്കരുതു; വഴിയിൽ വെച്ചു ആരെയും വന്ദനം ചെയ്കയുമരുതു;

And into whatsoever house all of you enter, first say, Peace be to this house.ഏതു വീട്ടിൽ എങ്കിലും ചെന്നാൽ: ഈ വീട്ടിന്നു സമാധാനം എന്നു ആദ്യം പറവിൻ

And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.അവിടെ ഒരു സമാധാനപുത്രൻ ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ സമാധാനം അവന്മേൽ വസിക്കും; ഇല്ലെന്നുവരികിലോ നിങ്ങളിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോരും.

And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.അവർ തരുന്നതു തിന്നും കുടിച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു ആ വീട്ടിൽ തന്നേ പാർപ്പിൻ; വേലക്കാരൻ തന്റെ കൂലിക്കു യോഗ്യനല്ലോ; വീട്ടിൽനിന്നു വീട്ടിലേക്കു മാറിപ്പോകരുതു.

And into whatsoever city all of you enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:ഏതു പട്ടണത്തിലെങ്കിലും ചെന്നാൽ അവർ നിങ്ങളെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നു എങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ വെക്കുന്നതു ഭക്ഷിപ്പിൻ.

And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God has come nigh unto you.അതിലെ രോഗികളെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കി, ദൈവരാജ്യം നിങ്ങൾക്കു സമീപിച്ചുവന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അവരോടു പറവിൻ.

But into whatsoever city all of you enter, and they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say,ഏതു പട്ടണത്തിലെങ്കിലും ചെന്നാൽ അവർ നിങ്ങളെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ അതിന്റെ തെരുക്കളിൽ പോയി:

Even the very dust of your city, which cleaves on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be all of you sure of this, that the kingdom of God has come nigh unto you.നിങ്ങളുടെ പട്ടണത്തിൽനിന്നു ഞങ്ങളുടെ കാലിന്നു പറ്റിയ പൊടിയും ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങൾക്കു കുടഞ്ഞേച്ചുപോകുന്നു; എന്നാൽ ദൈവരാജ്യം സമീപിച്ചുവന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞുകൊൾവിൻ എന്നു പറവിൻ.

But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.ആ പട്ടണത്തെക്കാൾ സൊദോമ്യർക്കു ആ നാളിൽ സഹിക്കാവതാകും” എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

Woe unto you, Chorazin! woe unto you, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.കോരസീനേ, നിനക്കു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! ബേത്ത്സയിദേ, നിനക്കു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! നിങ്ങളിൽ നടന്ന വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികൾ സോരിലും സീദോനിലും നടന്നിരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അവർ പണ്ടുതന്നേ രട്ടിലും വെണ്ണീറിലും ഇരുന്നു മാനസാന്തരപ്പെടുമായിരുന്നു.

But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you.എന്നാൽ ന്യായവിധിയിൽ നിങ്ങളെക്കാൾ സോരിന്നും സീദോന്നും സഹിക്കാവതാകും.

¹⁵

And you, Capernaum, which are exalted to heaven, shall be thrust down to hell.നീയോ കഫർന്നഹൂമേ, സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തോളം ഉയർന്നിരിക്കുമോ? നീ പാതാളത്തോളം താണുപോകും.

He that hears you hears me; and he that despises you despises me; and he that despises me despises him that sent me.നിങ്ങളുടെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കുന്നവൻ എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങളെ തള്ളുന്നവൻ എന്നെ തള്ളുന്നു; എന്നെ തള്ളുന്നവൻ എന്നെ അയച്ചവനെ തള്ളുന്നു.

And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through your name.ആ എഴുപതുപേർ സന്തോഷത്തേടെ മടങ്ങിവന്നു: കർത്താവേ, നിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ ഭൂതങ്ങളും ഞങ്ങൾക്കു കീഴടങ്ങുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു;

And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.അവൻ അവരോടു: “സാത്താൻ മിന്നൽപോലെ ആകാശത്തു നിന്നു വീഴുന്നതു ഞാൻ കണ്ടു.

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.പാമ്പുകളെയും തേളുകളെയും ശത്രുവിന്റെ സകല ബലത്തെയും ചവിട്ടുവാൻ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു അധികാരം തരുന്നു; ഒന്നും നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഒരിക്കലും ദോഷം വരുത്തുകയും ഇല്ല.

Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.എങ്കിലും ഭൂതങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങൾക്കു കീഴടങ്ങുന്നതിലല്ല. നിങ്ങളുടെ പേർ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതിലത്രേ സന്തോഷിപ്പിൻ.

In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hid these things from the wise and prudent, and have revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in your sight.ആ നാഴികയിൽ അവൻ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിൽ ആനന്ദിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞതു: “പിതാവേ, സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിന്നും ഭൂമിക്കും കർത്താവായുള്ളോവേ, നീ ഇവ ജ്ഞാനികൾക്കും വിവേകികൾക്കും മറെച്ചു ശിശുക്കൾക്കു വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വാഴ്ത്തുന്നു. അതേ, പിതാവേ, ഇങ്ങനെ നിനക്കു പ്രസാദം തോന്നിയല്ലോ.

All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knows who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.എന്റെ പിതാവു സകലവും എങ്കൽ ഭരമേല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. പുത്രൻ ഇന്നവൻ എന്നു പിതാവല്ലാതെ ആരും അറിയുന്നില്ല; പിതാവു ഇന്നവൻ എന്നു പുത്രനും പുത്രൻ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിക്കൊടുപ്പാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നവനും അല്ലാതെ ആരും അറിയുന്നതുമില്ല.

And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that all of you see:പിന്നെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരുടെ നേരെ തിരിഞ്ഞു: “നിങ്ങൾ കാണുന്നതിനെ കാണുന്ന കണ്ണു ഭാഗ്യമുള്ളതു.

For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which all of you see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which all of you hear, and have not heard them.നിങ്ങൾ കാണുന്നതിനെ കാണ്മാൻ ഏറിയ പ്രവാചകന്മാരും രാജാക്കന്മാരും ഇച്ഛിച്ചിട്ടും കണ്ടില്ല; നിങ്ങൾ കേൾക്കുന്നതിനെ കേൾപ്പാൻ ഇച്ഛിച്ചിട്ടും കേട്ടില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു” എന്നു പ്രത്യേകം പറഞ്ഞു.

And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?അനന്തരം ഒരു ന്യായശാസ്ത്രി എഴുന്നേറ്റു: ഗുരോ, ഞാൻ നിത്യജീവന്നു അവകാശി ആയിത്തീരുവാൻ എന്തു ചെയ്യേണം എന്നു അവനെ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു ചോദിച്ചു.

He said unto him, What is written in the law? how read you?അവൻ അവനോടു: “ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽ എന്തു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ എങ്ങനെ വായിക്കുന്നു” എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു അവൻ:

And he answering said, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbour as yourself.നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ കർത്താവിനെ നീ പൂർണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടും പൂർണ്ണാത്മാവോടും പൂർണ്ണശക്തിയോടും പൂർണ്ണമനസ്സോടും കൂടെ സ്നേഹിക്കേണം എന്നും കൂട്ടുകാരനെ നിന്നെപ്പോലെതന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കേണം എന്നും തന്നെ എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

And he said unto him, You have answered right: this do, and you shall live.അവൻ അവനോടു: “നീ പറഞ്ഞ ഉത്തരം ശരി; അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്ക; എന്നാൽ നീ ജീവിക്കും” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?അവൻ തന്നെത്താൻ നീതീകരിപ്പാൻ ഇച്ഛിച്ചിട്ടു യേശുവിനോടു: എന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരൻ ആർ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു യേശു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതു:

And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.ഒരു മനുഷ്യൻ യെരൂശലേമിൽ നിന്നു യെരീഹോവിലേക്കു പോകുമ്പോൾ കള്ളന്മാരുടെ കയ്യിൽ അകപ്പെട്ടു; അവർ അവനെ വസ്ത്രം അഴിച്ചു മുറിവേല്പിച്ചു അർദ്ധപ്രാണനായി വിട്ടേച്ചു പോയി.

And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.ആ വഴിയായി യദൃച്ഛയാ ഒരു പുരോഹിതൻ വന്നു അവനെ കണ്ടിട്ടു മാറി കടന്നു പോയി.

And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ഒരു ലേവ്യനും ആ സ്ഥലത്തിൽ എത്തി അവനെ കണ്ടിട്ടു മാറി കടന്നുപോയി.

But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,ഒരു ശമര്യക്കാരനോ വഴിപോകയിൽ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ എത്തി അവനെ കണ്ടിട്ടു മനസ്സലിഞ്ഞു അരികെ ചെന്നു

And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.എണ്ണയും വീഞ്ഞും പകർന്നു അവന്റെ മുറിവുകളെ കെട്ടി അവനെ തന്റെ വാഹനത്തിൽ കയറ്റി വഴിയമ്പലത്തിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി രക്ഷചെയ്തു.

And on the next day when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever you spend more, when I come again, I will repay you.പിറ്റെന്നാൾ അവൻ പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ രണ്ടു വെള്ളിക്കാശ് എടുത്തു വഴിയമ്പലക്കാരന്നു കൊടുത്തു: ഇവനെ രക്ഷ ചെയ്യേണം; അധികം വല്ലതും ചെലവിട്ടാൽ ഞാൻ മടങ്ങിവരുമ്പോൾ തന്നു കൊള്ളാം എന്നു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

Which now of these three, think you, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?കള്ളന്മാരുടെ കയ്യിൽ അകപ്പെട്ടവന്നു ഈ മൂവരിൽ ഏവൻ കൂട്ടുകാരനായിത്തീർന്നു എന്നു നിനക്കു തോന്നുന്നു?

And he said, He that showed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do you likewise.അവനോടു കരുണ കാണിച്ചവൻ എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു. യേശു അവനോടു “നീയും പോയി അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ചെയ്ക” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.പിന്നെ അവർ യാത്രപോകയിൽ അവൻ ഒരു ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ എത്തി; മാർത്താ എന്നു പേരുള്ള ഒരു സ്ത്രീ അവനെ വീട്ടിൽ കൈക്കൊണ്ടു.

And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word.അവൾക്കു മറിയ എന്ന ഒരു സഹോദരി ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവൾ കർത്താവിന്റെ കാൽക്കൽ ഇരുന്നു അവന്റെ വചനം കേട്ടുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.മാർത്തയോ വളരെ ശുശ്രൂഷയാൽ കുഴങ്ങീട്ടു അടുക്കെവന്നു: കർത്താവേ, എന്റെ സഹോദരി ശുശ്രൂഷെക്കു എന്നെ തനിച്ചു വിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നതിൽ നിനക്കു വിചാരമില്ലയോ? എന്നെ സഹായിപ്പാൻ അവളോടു കല്പിച്ചാലും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, you are careful and troubled about many things:കർത്താവു അവളോടു: “മാർത്തയേ, മാർത്തയേ, നീ പലതിനെച്ചൊല്ലി വിചാരപ്പെട്ടും മനം കലങ്ങിയുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

But one thing is necessary: and Mary has chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.എന്നാൽ അല്പമേ വേണ്ടു; അല്ല, ഒന്നു മതി. മറിയ നല്ല അംശം തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അതു ആരും അവളോടു അപഹരിക്കയുമില്ല.

Luke 11

And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.അവൻ ഒരു സ്ഥലത്തു പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; തീർന്നശേഷം ശിഷ്യന്മാരിൽ ഒരുത്തൻ അവനോടു: കർത്താവേ, യോഹന്നാൻ തന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരെ പഠിപ്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഞങ്ങളെയും പ്രാർത്ഥിപ്പാൻ പഠിപ്പിക്കേണമേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And he said unto them, When all of you pray, say, Our Father which are in heaven, Hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.അവൻ അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: “നിങ്ങൾ പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുമ്പോൾ ചൊല്ലേണ്ടിയതു: (സ്വർഗ്ഗസ്ഥനായ ഞങ്ങളുടെ) പിതാവേ, നിന്റെ നാമം വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെടേണമേ; നിന്റെ രാജ്യം വരേണമേ; (നിന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിലെപ്പോലെ ഭൂമിയിലും ആകേണമേ;)

Give us day by day our daily bread.ഞങ്ങൾക്കു ആവശ്യമുള്ള ആഹാരം ദിനംപ്രതി തരേണമേ.

And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.ഞങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങളെ ഞങ്ങളോടു ക്ഷമിക്കേണമേ; ഞങ്ങൾക്കു കടംപെട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ഏവനോടും ഞങ്ങളും ക്ഷമിക്കുന്നു; ഞങ്ങളെ പരീക്ഷയിൽ കടത്തരുതേ: (ദുഷ്ടങ്കൽനിന്നു ഞങ്ങളെ വിടുവിക്കേണമേ.)

And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves;പിന്നെ അവൻ അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: “നിങ്ങളിൽ ആർക്കെങ്കിലും ഒരു സ്നേഹതിൻ ഉണ്ടു എന്നിരിക്കട്ടെ; അവൻ അർദ്ധരാത്രിക്കു അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു: സ്നേഹിതാ, എനിക്കു മൂന്നപ്പം വായ്പ തരേണം;

For a friend of mine in his journey has come to me, and I have nothing to set before him?എന്റെ ഒരു സ്നേഹിതൻ വഴിയാത്രയിൽ എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു; അവന്നു വിളമ്പിക്കൊടുപ്പാൻ എന്റെ പക്കൽ ഏതും ഇല്ല എന്നു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞാൽ:

And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give you.എന്നെ പ്രയാസപ്പെടുത്തരുതു; കതകു അടെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; പൈതങ്ങളും എന്നോടുകൂടെ കിടക്കുന്നു; എഴുന്നേറ്റു തരുവാൻ എനിക്കു കഴികയില്ല എന്നു അകത്തുനിന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞാലും

I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needs.അവൻ സ്നേഹിതാനാകകൊണ്ടു എഴുന്നേറ്റു അവന്നു കൊടുക്കയില്ലെങ്കിലും അവൻ ലജ്ജകൂടാതെ മുട്ടിക്കനിമിത്തം എഴുന്നേറ്റു അവന്നു വേണ്ടുന്നെടത്തോളം കൊടുക്കും എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and all of you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.യാചിപ്പിൻ, എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു കിട്ടും; അന്വേഷിപ്പിൻ, എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ കണ്ടെത്തും; മുട്ടുവിൻ എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു തുറക്കും.

For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened.യാചിക്കുന്നവന്നു ഏവന്നും ലഭിക്കുന്നു; അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവൻ കണ്ടെത്തുന്നു; മുട്ടുന്നവന്നു തുറക്കും” എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങളിൽ ഒരു അപ്പനോടു മകൻ അപ്പം ചോദിച്ചാൽ അവന്നു കല്ലു കൊടുക്കുമോ? അല്ല, മീൻ ചോദിച്ചാൽ മീനിന്നു പകരം പാമ്പിനെ കൊടുക്കുമോ?

Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?മുട്ട ചോദിച്ചാൽ തേളിനെ കൊടുക്കുമോ?

If all of you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?അങ്ങനെ ദോഷികളായ നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കൾക്കു നല്ല ദാനങ്ങളെ കൊടുപ്പാൻ അറിയുന്നു എങ്കിൽ സ്വർഗ്ഗസ്ഥനായ പിതാവു തന്നോടു യാചിക്കുന്നവർക്കു പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനെ എത്ര അധികം കൊടുക്കും.

And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb. And it came to pass, when the devil was gone out, the dumb spoke; and the people wondered.ഒരിക്കൽ അവൻ ഊമയായോരു ഭൂതത്തെ പുറത്താക്കി. ഭൂതം വിട്ടുപോയശേഷം ഊമൻ സംസാരിച്ചു, പുരുഷാരം ആശ്ചര്യപെട്ടു.

And when he comes, he finds it swept and garnished.അതു അടിച്ചുവാരിയും അലങ്കരിച്ചും കാണുന്നു.

Then goes he, and takes to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.അപ്പോൾ അവൻ പോയി തന്നിലും ദുഷ്ടത ഏറിയ ഏഴു ആത്മാക്കളെ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു വരുന്നു; അവയും അതിൽ കടന്നു പാർത്തിട്ടു ആ മനുഷ്യന്റെ പിന്നത്തെ സ്ഥിതി മുമ്പിലത്തേതിനേക്കാൾ വല്ലാതെയായി ഭവിക്കും.

And it came to pass, as he spoke these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare you, and the breast which you have sucked.ഇതു പറയുമ്പോൾ പുരുഷാരത്തിൽ ഒരു സ്ത്രീ ഉച്ചത്തിൽ അവനോടു: നിന്നെ ചുമന്ന ഉദരവും നീ കുടിച്ച മുലയും ഭാഗ്യമുള്ളവ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

No man, when he has lighted a candle, puts it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.വിളക്കു കൊളുത്തീട്ടു ആരും നിലവറയിലോ പറയിൻ കീഴിലോ വെക്കാതെ അകത്തു വരുന്നവർ വെളിച്ചം കാണേണ്ടതിന്നു തണ്ടിന്മേൽ അത്രേ വെക്കുന്നതു.

The light of the body is the eye: therefore when yours eye is single, your whole body also is full of light; but when yours eye is evil, your body also is full of darkness.ശരീരത്തിന്റെ വിളക്കു കണ്ണാകുന്നു; കണ്ണു ചൊവ്വുള്ളതെങ്കിൽ ശരീരം മുഴുവനും പ്രകാശിതമായിരിക്കും; ദോഷമുള്ളതാകിലോ ശരീരവും ഇരുട്ടുള്ളതു തന്നേ.

Take heed therefore that the light which is in you be not darkness.ആകയാൽ നിന്നിലുള്ള വെളിച്ചം ഇരുളാകാതിരിപ്പാൻ നോക്കുക.

If your whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle does give you light.നിന്റെ ശരീരം അന്ധകാരമുള്ള അംശം ഒട്ടുമില്ലാതെ മുഴുവനും പ്രകാശിതമായിരുന്നാൽ വിളക്കു തെളക്കംകൊണ്ടു നിന്നെ പ്രകാശിപ്പിക്കുംപോലെ അശേഷം പ്രകാശിതമായിരിക്കും.

And as he spoke, a certain Pharisee besought him to dine with him: and he went in, and sat down to food.അവൻ സംസാരിക്കുമ്പോൾ തന്നേ ഒരു പരീശൻ തന്നോടുകൂടെ മുത്താഴം കഴിപ്പാൻ അവനെ ക്ഷണിച്ചു; അവനും അകത്തു കടന്നു ഭക്ഷണത്തിന്നിരുന്നു.

And the Lord said unto him, Now do all of you Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness.കർത്താവു അവനോടു: “പരീശന്മാരായ നിങ്ങൾ കിണ്ടികിണ്ണങ്ങളുടെ പുറം വെടിപ്പാക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങളുടെ ഉള്ളിലോ കവർച്ചയും ദുഷ്ടതയും നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

All of you fools, did not he that made that which is without make that which is within also?മൂഢന്മാരേ, പുറം ഉണ്ടാക്കിയവൻ അല്ലയോ അകവും ഉണ്ടാക്കിയതു?

But rather give alms of such things as all of you have; and, behold, all things are clean unto you.അകത്തുള്ളതു ഭിക്ഷയായി കൊടുപ്പിൻ; എന്നാൽ സകലവും നിങ്ങൾക്കു ശുദ്ധം ആകും” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

But woe unto you, Pharisees! for all of you tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought all of you to have done, and not to leave the other undone.പരീശന്മാരായ നിങ്ങൾക്കു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം; നിങ്ങൾ തുളസിയിലും അരൂതയിലും എല്ലാ ചീരയിലും പതാരം കൊടുക്കയും ന്യായവും ദൈവസ്നേഹവും വിട്ടുകളകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു; ഇതു ചെയ്കയും അതു ത്യജിക്കാതിരിക്കയും വേണം.

Woe unto you, Pharisees! for all of you love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets.പരീശന്മാരായ നിങ്ങൾക്കു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം; നിങ്ങൾക്കു പള്ളിയിൽ മുഖ്യാസനവും അങ്ങാടിയിൽ വന്ദനവും പ്രിയമാകുന്നു. നിങ്ങൾക്കു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം;

Woe unto you! for all of you build the sepulchers of the prophets, and your fathers killed them.നിങ്ങൾക്കു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം; നിങ്ങൾ പ്രവാചകന്മാരുടെ കല്ലറകളെ പണിയുന്നു; നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർ അവരെ കൊന്നു.

From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation.ലോക സ്ഥാപനം മുതൽ ചൊരിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന സകല പ്രവാചകന്മാരുടെയും രക്തം ഈ തലമുറയോടു ചോദിപ്പാൻ ഇടവരേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ. അതേ, ഈ തലമുറയോടു അതു ചോദിക്കും എന്നു” ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

Luke 12

Therefore whatsoever all of you have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which all of you have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ഇരുട്ടത്തു പറഞ്ഞതു എല്ലാം വെളിച്ചത്തു കേൾക്കും; അറകളിൽ വെച്ചു ചെവിയിൽ മന്ത്രിച്ചതു പുരമുകളിൽ ഘോഷിക്കും.

Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:മനുഷ്യരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ ആരെങ്കിലും എന്നെ ഏറ്റുപറഞ്ഞാൽ അവനെ മനുഷ്യപുത്രനും ദൈവദൂതന്മാരുടെ മുമ്പാകെ ഏറ്റുപറയും.

And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemes against the Holy Spirit it shall not be forgiven.മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്റെ നേരെ ഒരു വാക്കു പറയുന്ന ഏവനോടും ക്ഷമിക്കും; പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിന്റെ നേരെ ദൂഷണം പറയുന്നവനോടോ ക്ഷമിക്കയില്ല ” എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take all of you no thought how or what thing all of you shall answer, or what all of you shall say:എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങളെ പള്ളികൾക്കും കോയ്മകൾക്കും അധികാരങ്ങൾക്കും മുമ്പിൽ കൊണ്ടുപോകുമ്പോൾ എങ്ങനെയോ എന്തോ പ്രതിവാദിക്കേണ്ടു? എന്തു പറയേണ്ടു എന്നു വിചാരിപ്പെടേണ്ടാ;

And one of the company said unto him, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me.പുരുഷാരത്തിൽ ഒരുത്തൻ അവനോടു: ഗുരോ, ഞാനുമായി അവകാശം പകുതിചെയ്‍വാൻ എന്റെ സഹോദരനോടു കല്പിച്ചാലും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?അവനോടു അവൻ: “മനുഷ്യാ, എന്നെ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ന്യായകർത്താവോ പങ്കിടുന്നവനോ ആക്കിയതു ആർ ” എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consists not in the abundance of the things which he possesses.പിന്നെ അവരോടു: “സകലദ്രവ്യാഗ്രഹവും സൂക്ഷിച്ചു ഒഴിഞ്ഞുകൊൾവിൻ; ഒരുത്തന്നു സമൃദ്ധിഉണ്ടായാലും അവന്റെ വസ്തുവകയല്ല അവന്റെ ജീവന്നു ആധാരമായിരിക്കുന്നതു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?അപ്പോൾ അവൻ: ഞാൻ എന്തു ചെയ്യേണ്ടു? എന്റെ വിളവു കൂട്ടിവെപ്പാൻ സ്ഥലം പോരാ എന്നു ഉള്ളിൽ വിചാരിച്ചു.

And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.പിന്നെ അവൻ പറഞ്ഞതു: ഞാൻ ഇതു ചെയ്യും; എന്റെ കളപ്പുരകളെ പൊളിച്ചു അധികം വലിയവ പണിതു എന്റെ വിളവും വസ്തുവകയും എല്ലാം അതിൽ കൂട്ടിവെക്കും.

And I will say to my soul, Soul, you have much goods laid up for many years; take yours ease, eat, drink, and be merry.എന്നിട്ടു എന്നോടുതന്നേ; നിനക്കു ഏറിയ ആണ്ടുകൾക്കു മതിയായ അനവധി വസ്തുവക സ്വരൂപിച്ചുവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ആശ്വസിക്ക, തിന്നുക, കുടിക്ക, ആനന്ദിക്ക എന്നു പറയും. ദൈവമോ അവനോടു:

But God said unto him, You fool, this night your soul shall be required of you: then whose shall those things be, which you have provided?മൂഢാ, ഈ രാത്രിയിൽ നിന്റെ പ്രാണനെ നിന്നോടു ചോദിക്കും. പിന്നെ നീ ഒരുക്കിവെച്ചതു ആർക്കാകും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

So is he that lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.ദൈവവിഷയമായി സമ്പന്നനാകാതെ തനിക്കു തന്നേ നിക്ഷേപിക്കുന്നവന്റെ കാര്യം ഇങ്ങനെ ആകുന്നു.

And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what all of you shall eat; neither for the body, what all of you shall put on.അവൻ തന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: “ആകയാൽ എന്തു തിന്നും എന്നു ജീവന്നായിക്കൊണ്ടും എന്തു ഉടുക്കും എന്നു ശരീരത്തിന്നായിക്കൊണ്ടും വിചാരപ്പെടരുതു” എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

The life is more than food, and the body is more than raiment.ആഹാരത്തെക്കാൾ ജീവനും ഉടുപ്പിനെക്കാൾ ശരീരവും വലുതല്ലോ.

Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them: how much more are all of you better than the fowls?കാക്കയെ നോക്കുവിൻ; അതു വിതെക്കുന്നില്ല, കൊയ്യുന്നില്ല, അതിന്നു പാണ്ടികശാലയും കളപ്പുരയും ഇല്ല; എങ്കിലും ദൈവം അതിനെ പുലർത്തുന്നു. പറവജാതിയെക്കാൾ നിങ്ങൾ എത്ര വിശേഷമുള്ളവർ!

And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?പിന്നെ വിചാരപ്പെടുന്നതിനാൽ തന്റെ നീളത്തിൽ ഒരു മുഴം കൂട്ടുവാൻ നിങ്ങളിൽ ആർക്കു കഴിയും?

If all of you then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take all of you thought for the rest?ആകയാൽ ഏറ്റവും ചെറിയതിന്നുപോലും നിങ്ങൾ പോരാത്തവർ എങ്കിൽ ശേഷമുള്ളതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു വിചാരപ്പെടുന്നതു എന്തു?

Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.താമര എങ്ങനെ വളരുന്നു എന്നു വിചാരിപ്പിൻ; അവ അദ്ധ്വാനിക്കുന്നില്ല നൂൽക്കുന്നതുമില്ല; എന്നാൽ ശലോമോൻ പോലും തന്റെ സകല മഹത്വത്തിലും ഇവയിൽ ഒന്നിനോളം ചമഞ്ഞിരുന്നില്ല ” എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and tomorrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O all of you of little faith?ഇന്നുള്ളതും നാളെ അടുപ്പിൽ ഇടുന്നതുമായ വയലിലെ പുല്ലിനെ ദൈവം ഇങ്ങനെ ഉടുപ്പിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ, അല്പവിശ്വസികളേ, നിങ്ങളെ എത്ര അധികം?

And seek not all of you what all of you shall eat, or what all of you shall drink, neither be all of you of doubtful mind.എന്തു തിന്നും എന്തു കുടിക്കും എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ ചിന്തിച്ചു ചഞ്ചലപ്പെടരുതു.

For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knows that all of you have need of these things.ഈ വക ഒക്കെയും ലോകജാതികൾ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവോ ഇവ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ആവശ്യം എന്നു അറിയുന്നു.

But rather seek all of you the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.അവന്റെ രാജ്യം അന്വേഷിപ്പിൻ; അതോടുകൂടെ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഇതും കിട്ടും.

Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.ചെറിയ ആട്ടിൻ കൂട്ടമേ, ഭയപ്പെടരുതു; നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവു രാജ്യം നിങ്ങൾക്കു നല്കുവാൻ പ്രസാദിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

Sell that all of you have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that fails not, where no thief approaches, neither moth corrupts.നിങ്ങൾക്കുള്ളതു വിറ്റു ഭിക്ഷകൊടുപ്പിൻ; കള്ളൻ അടുക്കയോ പുഴു കെടുക്കയോ ചെയ്യാത്ത സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ പഴകിപ്പോകാത്ത മടിശ്ശീലകളും തീർന്നുപോകാത്ത നിക്ഷേപവും നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഉണ്ടാക്കിക്കൊൾവിൻ.

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.നിങ്ങളുടെ നിക്ഷേപം ഉള്ളേടത്തു നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയവും ഇരിക്കും.

Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;നിങ്ങളുടെ അര കെട്ടിയും വിളക്കു കത്തിയും കൊണ്ടിരിക്കട്ടെ.

And all of you yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he comes and knocks, they may open unto him immediately.യജമാനൻ കല്യാണത്തിന്നു പോയി വന്നു മുട്ടിയാൽ ഉടനെ വാതിൽ തുറന്നുകൊടുക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻ എപ്പോൾ മടങ്ങിവരും വന്നു കാത്തുനില്ക്കുന്ന ആളുകളോടു നിങ്ങൾ തുല്യരായിരിപ്പിൻ.

Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he comes shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to food, and will come forth and serve them.യജമാനൻ വരുന്നേരം ഉണർന്നിരിക്കുന്നവരായി കാണുന്ന ദാസന്മാർ ഭാഗ്യവാന്മാർ; അവൻ അര കെട്ടി അവരെ ഭക്ഷണത്തിന്നിരുത്തുകയും വന്നു അവർക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്കയും ചെയ്യും” എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യമായി നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.അവൻ രണ്ടാം യാമത്തിൽ വന്നാലും മൂന്നാമതിൽ വന്നാലും അങ്ങനെ കണ്ടു എങ്കിൽ അവർ ഭാഗ്യവാന്മാർ.

And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.കള്ളൻ ഇന്ന നാഴികെക്കു വരുന്നു എന്നു വിട്ടുടയവൻ അറിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അവൻ ഉണർന്നിരുന്നു തന്റെ വീടു തുരപ്പാൻ സമ്മതിക്കയില്ല എന്നറിവിൻ.

Be all of you therefore ready also: for the Son of man comes at an hour when all of you think not.നിനയാത്ത നാഴികയിൽ മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ വരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളും ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിപ്പിൻ.

Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speak you this parable unto us, or even to all?കർത്താവേ, ഈ ഉപമ പറയുന്നതു ഞങ്ങളോടോ എല്ലാവരോടും കൂടെയോ എന്നു പത്രൊസ് ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു കർത്താവു പറഞ്ഞതു:

And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season?തക്കസമയത്തു ആഹാരവീതം കൊടുക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യജമാനൻ തന്റെ വേലക്കാരുടെ മേൽ ആക്കുന്ന വിശ്വസ്തനും ബുദ്ധിമാനുമായ ഗൃഹവിചാരകൻ ആർ?

Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he comes shall find so doing.യജമാനൻ വരുമ്പോൾ അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തുകാണുന്ന ദാസൻ ഭാഗ്യവാൻ.

Truthfully I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he has.അവൻ തനിക്കുള്ള സകലത്തിന്നും അവനെ വിചാരകനാക്കിവെക്കും” എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delays his coming; and shall begin to beat the male servants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;എന്നാൽ ദാസൻ: യജമാനൻ താമസിച്ചേ വരികയുള്ളു എന്നു ഹൃദയത്തിൽ പറഞ്ഞു ബാല്യക്കാരെയും ബാല്യക്കാരത്തികളെയും തല്ലുവാനും തിന്നു കുടിച്ചു മദിപ്പാനും തുടങ്ങിയാൽ,

The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looks not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in two, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.അവൻ നോക്കിയിരിക്കാത്ത നാളിലും അറിയാത്ത നാഴികയിലും ആ ദാസന്റെ യജമാനൻ വന്നു അവനെ ദണ്ഡിപ്പിക്കയും അവന്നു അവിശ്വാസികളോടുകൂടെ പങ്കു കല്പിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.യജമാനന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടു ഒരുങ്ങാതെയും അവന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം ചെയ്യാതെയുമിരിക്കുന്ന ദാസന്നു വളരെ അടികൊള്ളും.

But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.അറിയാതെകണ്ടു അടിക്കു യോഗ്യമായതു ചെയ്തവന്നോ കുറയ അടി കൊള്ളും; വളരെ ലഭിച്ചവനോടു വളരെ ആവശ്യപ്പെടും; അധികം ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങിയവനോടു അധികം ചോദിക്കും.

I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?ഭൂമിയിൽ തീ ഇടുവാൻ ഞാൻ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; അതു ഇപ്പോഴേ കത്തിയെങ്കിൽ കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു എന്നല്ലാതെ ഞാൻ മറ്റെന്തു ഇച്ഛിക്കേണ്ടു?

⁵⁰

But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished!എങ്കിലും എനിക്കു ഒരു സ്നാനം ഏല്പാൻ ഉണ്ടു; അതു കഴിയുവോളം ഞാൻ എത്ര ഞെരുങ്ങുന്നു.

Suppose all of you that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:ഭൂമിയിൽ സമാധാനം നല്കുവാൻ ഞാൻ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു തോന്നുന്നുവോ? അല്ലല്ല, ഛിദ്രം വരുത്തുവാൻ അത്രേ” എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.ഇനിമേൽ ഒരു വീട്ടിൽ ഇരുവരോടു മൂവരും മൂവരോടു ഇരുവരും ഇങ്ങനെ അഞ്ചുപേർ തമ്മിൽ ഛിദ്രിച്ചിരിക്കും.

The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.അപ്പൻ മകനോടും മകൻ അപ്പനോടും അമ്മ മകളോടും മകൾ അമ്മയോടും അമ്മാവിയമ്മ മരുമകളോടും മരുമകൾ അമ്മാവിയമ്മയോടും ഛിദ്രിച്ചിരിക്കും.

And he said also to the people, When all of you see a cloud rise out of the west, immediately all of you say, There comes a shower; and so it is.പിന്നെ അവൻ പുരുഷാരത്തോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: “പടിഞ്ഞാറുനിന്നു മേഘം പൊങ്ങുന്നതു കാണുമ്പോൾ പെരുമഴ വരുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ ഉടനെ പറയുന്നു; അങ്ങനെ സംഭവിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

And when all of you see the south wind blow, all of you say, There will be heat; and it comes to pass.തെക്കൻ കാറ്റു ഊതുന്നതു കണ്ടാലോ അത്യുഷ്ണം ഉണ്ടാകും എന്നു പറയുന്നു; അതു സംഭവിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

All of you hypocrites, all of you can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that all of you do not discern this time?കപടഭക്തിക്കാരേ, ഭൂമിയുടെയും ആകാശത്തിന്റെയും ഭാവത്തെ വിവേചിപ്പാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു അറിയാം;

Yea, and why even of yourselves judge all of you not what is right?എന്നാൽ ഈ കാലത്തെ വിവേചിപ്പാൻ അറിയാത്തതു എങ്ങനെ? ന്യായമായതു എന്തെന്നു നിങ്ങൾ സ്വയമായി വിധിക്കാത്തതും എന്തു?

When you go with yours adversary to the magistrate, as you are in the way, give diligence that you may be delivered from him; lest he hale you to the judge, and the judge deliver you to the officer, and the officer cast you into prison.പ്രതിയോഗിയോടുകൂടെ അധികാരിയുടെ അടുക്കൽ പോകുമ്പോൾ വഴിയിൽവെച്ചു അവനോടു നിരന്നുകൊൾവാൻ ശ്രമിക്ക; അല്ലാഞ്ഞാൽ അവൻ നിന്നെ ന്യായാധിപന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ ഇഴെച്ചുകൊണ്ടു പോകയും ന്യായാധിപൻ നിന്നെ കോൽക്കാരന്റെ പക്കൽ ഏല്പിക്കയും കോൽക്കാരൻ തടവിൽ ആക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.

I tell you, you shall not depart thence, till you have paid the very last mite.ഒടുക്കത്തെ കാശുപോലും കൊടുത്തുതീരുവോളം നീ അവിടെ നിന്നു പുറത്തു വരികയില്ല ” എന്നു ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു പറയുന്നു.
