Leviticus 11

And the LORD spoke unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them,യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടും അഹരോനോടും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു:

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which all of you shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.നിങ്ങൾ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: ഭൂമിയിലുള്ള സകലമൃഗങ്ങളിലും നിങ്ങൾക്കു തിന്നാകുന്ന മൃഗങ്ങൾ ഇവ:

Whatsoever parts the hoof, and is cloven footed, and chews the cud, among the beasts, that shall all of you eat.മൃഗങ്ങളിൽ കുളമ്പു പിളർന്നിരിക്കുന്നതും കുളമ്പു രണ്ടായി പിരിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതും അയവിറക്കുന്നതുമായതൊക്കെയും നിങ്ങൾക്കു തിന്നാം.

Nevertheless these shall all of you not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he chews the cud, but divides not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.എന്നാൽ അയവിറക്കുന്നവയിലും കുളമ്പു പിളർന്നിരിക്കുന്നവയിലും നിങ്ങൾ തിന്നരുതാത്തവ ഇവ: ഒട്ടകം; അയവിറക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലും കുളമ്പു പിളർന്നതല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു അതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു അശുദ്ധം.

And the coney, because he chews the cud, but divides not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.കുഴിമുയൽ; അയവിറക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലും കുളമ്പു പിളർന്നതല്ലായ്കയാൽ അതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു അശുദ്ധം.

And the hare, because he chews the cud, but divides not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.മുയൽ; അയവിറക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലും കുളമ്പു പിളന്നതല്ലായ്കയാൽ അതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു അശുദ്ധം.

And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be cloven footed, yet he chews not the cud; he is unclean to you.പന്നി കുളമ്പു പിളർന്നതായി കുളമ്പു രണ്ടായി പിരിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതു തന്നേ എങ്കിലും അയവിറക്കുന്നതല്ലായ്കയാൽ അതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു അശുദ്ധം.

Of their flesh shall all of you not eat, and their carcass shall all of you not touch; they are unclean to you.ഇവയുടെ മാംസം നിങ്ങൾ തിന്നരുതു; പിണം തൊടുകയും അരുതു; ഇവ നിങ്ങൾക്കു അശുദ്ധം.

These shall all of you eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever has fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall all of you eat.വെള്ളത്തിലുള്ള എല്ലാറ്റിലുംവെച്ചു നിങ്ങൾക്കു തിന്നാകുന്നവ ഇവ: കടലുകളിലും നദികളിലും ഉള്ള വെള്ളത്തിൽ ചിറകും ചെതുമ്പലും ഉള്ളവ ഒക്കെയും നിങ്ങൾക്കു തിന്നാം.

And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:എന്നാൽ കടലുകളിലും നദികളിലും ള്ളള വെള്ളത്തിൽ ചലനംചെയ്യുന്ന എല്ലാറ്റിലും വെള്ളത്തിലുള്ള സകലജന്തുക്കളിലും ചിറകും ചെതുമ്പലുമില്ലാത്തതു ഒക്കെയും നിങ്ങൾക്കു അറെപ്പായിരിക്കേണം.

They shall be even an abomination unto you; all of you shall not eat of their flesh, but all of you shall have their carcasses in abomination.അവ നിങ്ങൾക്കു അറെപ്പായി തന്നേ ഇരിക്കേണം. അവയുടെ മാംസം തിന്നരുതു; അവയുടെ പിണം നിങ്ങൾക്കു അറെപ്പായിരിക്കേണം.

Whatsoever has no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.ചിറകും ചെതുമ്പലും ഇല്ലാതെ വെള്ളത്തിൽ ഉള്ളതൊക്കെയും നിങ്ങൾക്കു അറെപ്പു ആയിരിക്കേണം.

And these are they which all of you shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the vulture, and the buzzard,പക്ഷികളിൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു അറെപ്പായിരിക്കേണ്ടുന്നവ ഇവ: അവയെ തിന്നരുതു; അവ അറെപ്പു ആകുന്നു: കഴുകൻ, ചെമ്പരുന്തു,

And the vulture, and the kite after his kind;കടൽറാഞ്ചൻ, ഗൃദ്ധം, അതതു വിധം പരുന്തു,

¹⁵

Every raven after his kind;അതതു വിധം കാക്ക, ഒട്ടകപ്പക്ഷി,

¹⁶

And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckoo, and the hawk after his kind,പുള്ളു, കടൽകാക്ക, അതതു വിധം പ്രാപ്പിടിയൻ,

And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,നത്തു, നീർക്കാക്ക, കൂമൻ, മൂങ്ങ,

¹⁸

And the swan, and the pelican, and the carrion vulture,വേഴാമ്പൽ, കുടുമ്മച്ചാത്തൻ, പെരിഞാറ,

And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.അതതതു വിധം കൊക്കു, കുളക്കോഴി, നരിച്ചീർ എന്നിവയും

All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you.ചിറകുള്ള ഇഴജാതിയിൽ നാലുകാൽകൊണ്ടു നടക്കുന്നതു ഒക്കെയും നിങ്ങൾക്കു അറെപ്പായിരിക്കേണം.

Yet these may all of you eat of every flying creeping thing that goes upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap likewise upon the earth;എങ്കിലും ചിറകുള്ള ഇഴജാതിയിൽ നാലുകാൽ കൊണ്ടു നടക്കുന്ന എല്ലാറ്റിലും നിലത്തു കുതിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു കാലിന്മേൽ തുട ഉള്ളവയെ നിങ്ങൾക്കു തിന്നാം.

Even these of them all of you may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind.ഇവയിൽ അതതു വിധം വെട്ടുക്കിളി, അതതു വിധം വിട്ടിൽ, അതതു വിധം ചീവീടു, അതതു വിധം തുള്ളൻ എന്നിവയെ നിങ്ങൾക്കു തിന്നാം.

But all other flying creeping things, which have four feet, shall be an abomination unto you.ചിറകും നാലുകാലുമുള്ള ശേഷം ഇഴജാതി ഒക്കെയും നിങ്ങൾക്കു അറെപ്പായിരിക്കേണം.

²⁴

And for these all of you shall be unclean: whosoever touches the carcass of them shall be unclean until the even.അവയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ അശുദ്ധരാകും: അവയുടെ പിണം തൊടുന്നവനെല്ലാം സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധൻ ആയിരിക്കേണം.

²⁵

And whosoever bears ought of the carcass of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.അവയുടെ പിണം വഹിക്കുന്നവനെല്ലാം വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധനായിരിക്കേണം.

²⁶

The carcasses of every beast which divides the hoof, and is not cloven footed, nor chews the cud, are unclean unto you: every one that touches them shall be unclean.കുളമ്പു പിളർന്നതെങ്കിലും കുളമ്പു രണ്ടായി പിരിയാതെയും അയവിറക്കാതെയും ഇരിക്കുന്ന സകലമൃഗവും നിങ്ങൾക്കു അശുദ്ധം; അവയെ തൊടുന്നവനെല്ലാം അശുദ്ധൻ ആയിരിക്കേണം.

And whatsoever goes upon his paws, among all manner of beasts that go on all four, those are unclean unto you: whoso touches their carcass shall be unclean until the even.നാലുകാൽകൊണ്ടു നടക്കുന്ന സകലമൃഗങ്ങളിലും ഉള്ളങ്കാൽ പതിച്ചു നടക്കുന്നവ ഒക്കെയും നിങ്ങൾക്കു അശുദ്ധം; അവയുടെ പിണം തൊടുന്നവനെല്ലാം സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധൻ ആയിരിക്കേണം.

And he that bears the carcass of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: they are unclean unto you.അവയുടെ പിണം വഹിക്കുന്നവൻ വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധനായിരിക്കേണം; അവ നിങ്ങൾക്കു അശുദ്ധം.

These also shall be unclean unto you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth; the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after his kind,നിലത്തു ഇഴയുന്ന ഇഴജാതിയിൽനിങ്ങൾക്കു അശുദ്ധമായവ ഇവ:

³⁰

And the ferret, and the chameleon, and the lizard, and the snail, and the mole.പെരിച്ചാഴി, എലി, അതതു വിധം ഉടുമ്പു, അളുങ്കു, ഓന്തു, പല്ലി, അരണ, തുരവൻ.

³¹

These are unclean to you among all that creep: whosoever does touch them, when they be dead, shall be unclean until the even.എല്ലാ ഇഴജാതിയിലുംവെച്ചു ഇവ നിങ്ങൾക്കു അശുദ്ധം; അവ ചത്തശേഷം അവയെ തൊടുന്നവനെല്ലാം സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധൻ ആയിരിക്കേണം.

And upon whatsoever any of them, when they are dead, does fall, it shall be unclean; whether it be any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatsoever vessel it be, wherein any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the even; so it shall be cleansed.ചത്തശേഷം അവയിൽ ഒന്നു ഏതിന്മേൽ എങ്കിലും വീണാൽ അതൊക്കെയും അശുദ്ധമാകും; അതു മരപ്പാത്രമോ വസ്ത്രമോ തോലോ ചാക്കുശീലയോ വേലെക്കു ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന പാത്രമോ എന്തായാലും വെള്ളത്തിൽ ഇടേണം; അതു സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കേണം; പിന്നെ ശുദ്ധമാകും.

And every earthen vessel, into where any of them falls, whatsoever is in it shall be unclean; and all of you shall break it.അവയിൽ യാതൊന്നെങ്കിലും ഒരു മൺപാത്രത്തിന്നകത്തു വീണാൽ അതിന്നകത്തുള്ളതു ഒക്കെയും അശുദ്ധമാകും; നിങ്ങൾ അതു ഉടെച്ചുകളയേണം.

³⁴

Of all food which may be eaten, that on which such water comes shall be unclean: and all drink that may be drunk in every such vessel shall be unclean.തിന്നുന്ന വല്ല സാധനത്തിന്മേലും ആ വെള്ളം വീണാൽ അതു അശുദ്ധമാകും; കുടിക്കുന്ന വല്ല പാനീയവും ആ വക പാത്രത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ അതു അശുദ്ധമാകും;

³⁵

And every thing whereupon any part of their carcass falls shall be unclean; whether it be oven, or ranges for pots, they shall be broken down: for they are unclean and shall be unclean unto you.അവയിൽ ഒന്നിന്റെ പിണം വല്ലതിന്മേലും വീണാൽ അതു ഒക്കെയും അശുദ്ധമാകും: അടുപ്പോ തീച്ചട്ടിയോ ഇങ്ങനെ എന്തായാലും അതു തകർത്തുകളയേണം; അവ അശുദ്ധം ആകുന്നു; അവ നിങ്ങൾക്കു അശുദ്ധം ആയിരിക്കേണം.

³⁶

Nevertheless a fountain or pit, wherein there is plenty of water, shall be clean: but that which touches their carcass shall be unclean.എന്നാൽ നീരുറവും വെള്ളമുള്ള കിണറും ശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കും; പിണം തൊടുന്നവനോ അശുദ്ധനാകും.

³⁷

And if any part of their carcass fall upon any sowing seed which is to be sown, it shall be clean.വിതെക്കുന്ന വിത്തായ വല്ല ധാന്യത്തിന്മേലും അവയിൽ ഒന്നിന്റെ പിണം വീണാലും അതു ശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കും.

³⁸

But if any water be put upon the seed, and any part of their carcass fall thereon, it shall be unclean unto you.എന്നാൽ വിത്തിൽ വെള്ളം ഒഴിച്ചിട്ടു അവയിൽ ഒന്നിന്റെ പിണം അതിന്മേൽ വീണാൽ അതു അശുദ്ധം.

³⁹

And if any beast, of which all of you may eat, die; he that touches the carcass thereof shall be unclean until the even.നിങ്ങൾക്കു തിന്നാകുന്ന ഒരു മൃഗം ചത്താൽ അതിന്റെ പിണം തൊടുന്നവൻ സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധൻ ആയിരിക്കേണം.

⁴⁰

And he that eats of the carcass of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: he also that bears the carcass of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.അതിന്റെ പിണം തിന്നുന്നവൻ വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധനായിരിക്കേണം; അതിന്റെ പിണം വഹിക്കുന്നവനും വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധനായിരിക്കേണം.

⁴¹

And every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth shall be an abomination; it shall not be eaten.നിലത്തു ഇഴയുന്ന ഇഴജാതിയെല്ലാം അറെപ്പാകുന്നു; അതിനെ തിന്നരുതു.

⁴²

Whatsoever goes upon the belly, and whatsoever goes upon all four, or whatsoever has more feet among all creeping things that creep upon the earth, them all of you shall not eat; for they are an abomination.ഉരസ്സുകൊണ്ടു ചരിക്കുന്നതും നാലുകാൽകൊണ്ടു നടക്കുന്നതും അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അനേകം കാലുള്ളതായി നിലത്തു ഇഴയുന്നതുമായ യാതൊരു ഇഴജാതിയെയും നിങ്ങൾ തിന്നരുതു; അവ അറെപ്പാകുന്നു.

All of you shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creeps, neither shall all of you make yourselves unclean with them, that all of you should be defiled thereby.യാതൊരു ഇഴജാതിയെക്കൊണ്ടും നിങ്ങളെ തന്നേ അറെപ്പാക്കരുതു; അവയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ മലിനപ്പെടുമാറു നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുകയും അരുതു.

For I am the LORD your God: all of you shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and all of you shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall all of you defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു; ഞാൻ വിശുദ്ധനാകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളെ തന്നേ വിശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചു വിശുദ്ധന്മാരായിരിക്കേണം; ഭൂമിയിൽ ഇഴയുന്ന യാതൊരു ഇഴജാതിയാലും നിങ്ങളെ തന്നേ അശുദ്ധമാക്കരുതു.

For I am the LORD that brings you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: all of you shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ദൈവമായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങളെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ച യഹോവ ആകുന്നു; ഞാൻ വിശുദ്ധനാകയാൽ നിങ്ങളും വിശുദ്ധന്മാരായിരിക്കേണം.

This is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moves in the waters, and of every creature that creeps upon the earth:ശുദ്ധവും അശുദ്ധവും തമ്മിലും തിന്നാകുന്ന മൃഗത്തെയും തിന്നരുതാത്ത മൃഗത്തെയും തമ്മിലും

To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten.വകതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഇതു മൃഗങ്ങളെയും പക്ഷികളെയും വെള്ളത്തിൽ ചലനം ചെയ്യുന്ന സകല ജന്തുക്കളെയും നിലത്തു ഇഴയുന്ന ജന്തുക്കളെയും പറ്റിയുള്ള പ്രമാണം ആകുന്നു.

Leviticus 12

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു:

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a male child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.നീ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: ഒരു സ്ത്രീ ഗർഭംധരിച്ചു ആൺകുഞ്ഞിനെ പ്രസവിച്ചാൽ അവൾ ഏഴു ദിവസം അശുദ്ധയായിരിക്കേണം; ഋതുവിന്റെ മാലിന്യകാലത്തെന്നപോലെ അവൾ അശുദ്ധയായിരിക്കേണം.

And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.എട്ടാം ദിവസം അവന്റെ അഗ്രചർമ്മം പരിച്ഛേദന ചെയ്യേണം.

And she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days; she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled.പിന്നെ അവൾ മുപ്പത്തുമൂന്നു ദിവസം തന്റെ രക്ത ശുദ്ധീകരണത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കേണം; അവളുടെ ശുദ്ധീകരണകാലം തികയുന്നതുവരെ അവൾ യാതൊരു വിശുദ്ധവസ്തുവും തൊടരുതു; വിശുദ്ധ മന്ദിരത്തിലേക്കു വരികയും അരുതു.

But if she bear a female child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation: and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying threescore and six days.പെൺകുഞ്ഞിനെ പ്രസവിച്ചാൽ അവൾ രണ്ടു ആഴ്ചവട്ടം ഋതുകാലത്തെന്നപോലെ അശുദ്ധയായിരിക്കേണം; പിന്നെ അറുപത്താറു ദിവസം തന്റെ രക്തശുദ്ധീകരണത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കേണം.

And when the days of her purifying are fulfilled, for a son, or for a daughter, she shall bring a lamb of the first year for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon, or a turtledove, for a sin offering, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest:മകന്നു വേണ്ടിയോ മകൾക്കു വേണ്ടിയോ അവളുടെ ശുദ്ധീകരണകാലം തികഞ്ഞശേഷം അവൾ ഒരു വയസ്സുപ്രായമുള്ള ആട്ടിൻ കുട്ടിയെ ഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നായിട്ടും ഒരു പ്രാവിൻ കുഞ്ഞിനെയോ ഒരു കുറുപ്രാവിനെയോ പാപയാഗത്തിന്നായിട്ടും സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതിൽക്കൽ പുരോഹിത തന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.

Who shall offer it before the LORD, and make an atonement for her; and she shall be cleansed from the issue of her blood. This is the law for her that has born a male or a female.അവൻ അതു യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ അർപ്പിച്ചു പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം; എന്നാൽ അവളുടെ രക്തസ്രവം നിന്നിട്ടു അവൾ ശുദ്ധയാകും. ഇതു ആൺകുഞ്ഞിനെയോ പെൺകുഞ്ഞിനെയോ പ്രസവിച്ചവൾക്കുള്ള പ്രമാണം.

And if she be not able to bring a lamb, then she shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons; the one for the burnt offering, and the other for a sin offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for her, and she shall be clean.ആട്ടിൻ കുട്ടിക്കു അവളുടെ പക്കൽ വകയില്ല എങ്കിൽ അവൾ രണ്ടു കുറു പ്രാവിനെയോ രണ്ടു പ്രാവിൻ കുഞ്ഞിനെയോ ഓന്നിനെ ഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നും മറ്റേതിനെ പാപയാഗത്തിന്നുമായി കൊണ്ടുവരേണം; പുരോഹിതൻ അവൾക്കുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം; എന്നാൽ അവൾ ശുദ്ധയാകും.

Leviticus 13

And the LORD spoke unto Moses and Aaron, saying,യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടും അഹരോനോടും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാൽ:

When a man shall have in the skin of his flesh a rising, a scab, or bright spot, and it be in the skin of his flesh like the plague of leprosy; then he shall be brought unto Aaron the priest, or unto one of his sons the priests:ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്റെ ത്വക്കിന്മേൽ തിണർപ്പോ ചുണങ്ങോ വെളുത്ത പുള്ളിയോ ഇങ്ങനെ കുഷ്ഠത്തിന്റെ വടു കണ്ടാൽ അവനെ പുരോഹിതനായ അഹരോന്റെ അടുക്കലോ പുരോഹിതന്മാരായ അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരിൽ ഒരുത്തന്റെ അടുക്കലോ കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.

And the priest shall look on the plague in the skin of the flesh: and when the hair in the plague is turned white, and the plague in sight be deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is a plague of leprosy: and the priest shall look on him, and pronounce him unclean.പുരോഹിതൻ ത്വക്കിന്മേൽ ഉള്ള വടു നോക്കേണം; വടുവിന്നകത്തുള്ള രോമം വെളുത്തതും വടു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാൾ കുഴിഞ്ഞതും ആയി കണ്ടാൽ അതു കുഷ്ടലക്ഷണം; പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ നോക്കി അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം.

If the bright spot be white in the skin of his flesh, and in sight be not deeper than the skin, and the hair thereof be not turned white; then the priest shall shut up him that has the plague seven days:അവന്റെ ത്വക്കിന്മേൽ പുള്ളി വെളുത്തതും ത്വക്കിനെക്കാളും കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാത്തതും അതിന്നകത്തുള്ള രോമം വെളുത്തിരിക്കാത്തതും ആയി കണ്ടാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ ആ ലക്ഷണമുള്ളവനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്താക്കി അടക്കേണം.

And the priest shall look on him the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague in his sight be at a stay, and the plague spread not in the skin; then the priest shall shut him up seven days more:ഏഴാം ദിവസം പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ നോക്കേണം. വടു ത്വക്കിന്മേൽ പരക്കാതെ, കണ്ട സ്ഥിതിയിൽ നില്ക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ പുരോഹിതൻ രണ്ടാം പ്രാവശ്യം അവനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്താക്കി അടെക്കേണം.

And the priest shall look on him again the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague be somewhat dark, and the plague spread not in the skin, the priest shall pronounce him clean: it is but a scab: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.ഏഴാം ദിവസം പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ വീണ്ടും നോക്കേണം; വടു മങ്ങിയതായും ത്വക്കിന്മേൽ പരക്കാതെയും കണ്ടാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവൻ എന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു ചുണങ്ങത്രേ. അവൻ വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനായിരിക്കേണം.

But if the scab spread much abroad in the skin, after that he has been seen of the priest for his cleansing, he shall be seen of the priest again.അവൻ ശുദ്ധീകരണത്തിന്നായി തന്നെത്താൻ പുരോഹിതനെ കാണിച്ചശേഷം ചുണങ്ങു ത്വക്കിന്മേൽ അധികമായി പരന്നാൽ അവൻ പിന്നെയും തന്നെത്താൻ പുരോഹിതനെ കാണിക്കേണം.

And if the priest see that, behold, the scab spreads in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a leprosy.ചുണങ്ങു ത്വക്കിന്മേൽ പരക്കുന്നു എന്നു പുരോഹിതൻ കണ്ടാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു കുഷ്ഠം തന്നേ.

When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then he shall be brought unto the priest;കുഷ്ഠത്തിന്റെ ലക്ഷണം ഒരു മനുഷ്യനിൽ ഉണ്ടായാൽ അവനെ പുരോഹിതന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.

And the priest shall see him: and, behold, if the rising be white in the skin, and it have turned the hair white, and there be quick raw flesh in the rising;പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ നോക്കേണം; ത്വക്കിന്മേൽ വെളുത്ത തിണർപ്പുണ്ടായിരിക്കയും അതിലെ രോമം വെളുത്തിരിക്കയും തിണർപ്പിൽ പച്ചമാംസത്തിന്റെ ലക്ഷണം ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താൽ

It is an old leprosy in the skin of his flesh, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean, and shall not shut him up: for he is unclean.അതു അവന്റെ ത്വക്കിൽ പഴകിയ കുഷ്ഠം ആകുന്നു; പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ അശുദ്ധൻ എന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അവൻ അശുദ്ധനാകകൊണ്ടു അവനെ അകത്താക്കി അടെക്കരുതു.

And if a leprosy break out abroad in the skin, and the leprosy cover all the skin of him that has the plague from his head even to his foot, where ever the priest looks;കുഷ്ഠം ത്വക്കിൽ അധികമായി പരന്നു രോഗിയുടെ തലതൊട്ടു കാൽവരെ പുരോഹിതൻ കാണുന്നേടത്തൊക്കെയും വടു ത്വക്കിൽ ആസകലം മൂടിയിരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ പുരോഹിതൻ നോക്കേണം;

Then the priest shall consider: and, behold, if the leprosy have covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean that has the plague: it is all turned white: he is clean.കുഷ്ഠം അവന്റെ ദേഹത്തെ മുഴുവനും മൂടിയിരുന്നാൽ അവൻ വടുവുള്ളവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; ആസകാലം വെള്ളയായി തീർന്നു; അവൻ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവൻ ആകുന്നു.

But when raw flesh appears in him, he shall be unclean.എന്നാൽ പച്ചമാംസം അവനിൽ കണ്ടാൽ അവൻ അശുദ്ധൻ.

And the priest shall see the raw flesh, and pronounce him to be unclean: for the raw flesh is unclean: it is a leprosy.പുരോഹിതൻ പച്ചമാംസം നോക്കി അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം. പച്ചമാംസം അശുദ്ധം; അതു കുഷ്ഠം തന്നേ.

Or if the raw flesh return, and be changed unto white, he shall come unto the priest;എന്നാൽ പച്ചമാംസം മാറി വെള്ളയായി തീർന്നാൽ അവൻ പുരോഹിതന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരേണം.

And the priest shall see him: and, behold, if the plague be turned into white; then the priest shall pronounce him clean that has the plague: he is clean.പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ നോക്കേണം; വടു വെള്ളയായി തീർന്നു എങ്കിൽ പുരോഹിതൻ വടുവുള്ളവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അവൻ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവൻ തന്നേ.

The flesh also, in which, even in the skin thereof, was a boil, and is healed,ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ത്വക്കിൽ പരുവുണ്ടായിരുന്നിട്ടു

And in the place of the boil there be a white rising, or a bright spot, white, and somewhat reddish, and it be showed to the priest;സൌഖ്യമായ ശേഷം പരുവിന്റെ സ്ഥലത്തു വെളുത്ത തിണർപ്പോ ചുവപ്പോടുകൂടിയ വെളുത്ത പുള്ളിയോ ഉണ്ടായാൽ അതു പുരോഹിതനെ കാണിക്കേണം.

And if, when the priest sees it, behold, it be in sight lower than the skin, and the hair thereof be turned white; the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague of leprosy broken out of the boil.പുരോഹിതൻ അതു നോക്കേണം; അതു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാൾ കുഴിഞ്ഞതും അതിലെ രോമം വെളുത്തതുമായി കണ്ടാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു പരുവിൽനിന്നുണ്ടായ കുഷ്ഠരോഗം.

But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hairs therein, and if it be not lower than the skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:എന്നാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ അതുനോക്കി അതിൽ വെളുത്ത രോമം ഇല്ലാതെയും അതു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാൾ കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാതെയും നിറം മങ്ങിയും കണ്ടാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്താക്കി അടെക്കേണം.

But if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread not, it is a burning boil; and the priest shall pronounce him clean.എന്നാൽ വെളുത്ത പുള്ളി പരക്കാതെ, കണ്ട നിലയിൽ തന്നേ നിന്നു എങ്കിൽ അതു പരുവിന്റെ വടു അത്രേ. പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം.

Or if there be any flesh, in the skin whereof there is a hot burning, and the quick flesh that burns have a white bright spot, somewhat reddish, or white;അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ത്വക്കിൽ തീപ്പൊള്ളൽ ഉണ്ടായി പൊള്ളലിന്റെ വടു ചുവപ്പോടുകൂടി വെളുത്തോ വെളുത്ത തന്നേയോ ഇരിക്കുന്ന പുള്ളി ആയി തീർന്നാൽ

Then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the hair in the bright spot be turned white, and it be in sight deeper than the skin; it is a leprosy broken out of the burning: wherefore the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.പുരോഹിതൻ അതു നോക്കേണം; പുള്ളിയിലെ രോമം വെള്ളയായി തീർന്നു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാൾ കുഴിഞ്ഞുകണ്ടാൽ പൊള്ളലിൽ ഉണ്ടായ കുഷ്ഠം; ആകയാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു കുഷ്ഠലക്ഷണം തന്നേ.

But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hair in the bright spot, and it be no lower than the other skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:എന്നാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ അതു നോക്കീട്ടു പുള്ളിയിൽ വെളുത്തരോമം ഇല്ലാതെയും അതു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാൾ കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാതെയും നിറം മങ്ങിയും കണ്ടാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്താക്കി അടെക്കേണം.

And the priest shall look upon him the seventh day: and if it be spread much abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.ഏഴാം ദിവസം പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ നോക്കേണം: അതു ത്വക്കിന്മേൽ പരന്നിരുന്നാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു കുഷ്ഠലക്ഷണം തന്നേ.

If a man or woman have a plague upon the head or the beard;ഒരു പുരുഷന്നു എങ്കിലും ഒരു സ്ത്രിക്കു എങ്കിലും തലയിലോ താടിയിലോ ഒരു വടു ഉണ്ടായാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ വടു നോക്കേണം.

Then the priest shall see the plague: and, behold, if it be in sight deeper than the skin; and there be in it a yellow thin hair; then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a dry scab, even a leprosy upon the head or beard.അതു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാൾ കുഴിഞ്ഞും അതിൽ പൊൻ നിറമായ നേർമ്മയുള്ള രോമം ഉള്ളതായും കണ്ടാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു പുറ്റാകുന്നു; തലയിലോ താടിയിലോ ഉള്ള കുഷ്ഠം തന്നേ.

And if the priest look on the plague of the scab, and, behold, it be not in sight deeper than the skin, and that there is no black hair in it; then the priest shall shut up him that has the plague of the scab seven days:പുരോഹിതൻ പുറ്റിന്റെ വടുവിനെ നോക്കുമ്പോൾ അതു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാൾ കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാതെയും അതിൽ കറുത്ത രോമം ഇല്ലാതെയും കണ്ടാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ പുറ്റുവടുവുള്ളവനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്താക്കി അടെക്കേണം.

And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the plague: and, behold, if the scab spread not, and there be in it no yellow hair, and the scab be not in sight deeper than the skin;ഏഴാം ദിവസം പുരോഹിതൻ വടുവിനെ നോക്കേണം; പുറ്റു പരക്കാതെയും അതിൽ പൊൻ നിറമുള്ള രോമം ഇല്ലാതെയും പുറ്റിന്റെ കാഴ്ച ത്വക്കിനെക്കാൾ കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാതെയും ഇരുന്നാൽ അവൻ ക്ഷൌരം ചെയ്യിക്കേണം;

He shall be shaven, but the scab shall he not shave; and the priest shall shut up him that has the scab seven days more:എന്നാൽ പുറ്റിൽ ക്ഷൌരം ചെയ്യരുതു; പുരോഹിതൻ പുറ്റുള്ളവനെ പിന്നെയും ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്താക്കി അടെക്കേണം.

And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the scab: and, behold, if the scab be not spread in the skin, nor be in sight deeper than the skin; then the priest shall pronounce him clean: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.ഏഴാം ദിവസം പുരോഹിതൻ പുറ്റു നോക്കേണം; പുറ്റു ത്വക്കിന്മേൽ പരക്കാതെയും കാഴ്ചെക്കു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാൾ കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാതെയും ഇരുന്നാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അവൻ വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനായിരിക്കേണം.

But if the scab spread much in the skin after his cleansing;എന്നാൽ അവന്റെ ശുദ്ധീകരണത്തിന്റെ ശേഷം പുറ്റു ത്വക്കിന്മേൽ പരന്നാൽ

Then the priest shall look on him: and, behold, if the scab be spread in the skin, the priest shall not seek for yellow hair; he is unclean.പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ നോക്കേണം; പുറ്റു ത്വക്കിന്മേൽ പരന്നിരുന്നാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ പൊൻനിറമുള്ള രോമം അന്വേഷിക്കേണ്ടാ; അവൻ അശുദ്ധൻ തന്നേ.

³⁷

But if the scab be in his sight at a stay, and that there is black hair grown up therein; the scab is healed, he is clean: and the priest shall pronounce him clean.എന്നാൽ പുറ്റു കണ്ട നിലയിൽ തന്നേ നില്ക്കുന്നതായും അതിൽ കറുത്ത രോമം മുളെച്ചതായും കണ്ടാൽ പുറ്റു സൌഖ്യമായി; അവൻ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവൻ; പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം.

If a man also or a woman have in the skin of their flesh bright spots, even white bright spots;ഒരു പുരുഷന്നോ സ്ത്രീക്കോ ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ത്വക്കിൽ വെളുത്ത പുള്ളി ഉണ്ടായാൽ

Then the priest shall look: and, behold, if the bright spots in the skin of their flesh be darkish white; it is a freckled spot that grows in the skin; he is clean.പുരോഹിതൻ നോക്കേണം; ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ത്വക്കിൽ മങ്ങിയ വെള്ളപ്പുള്ളി ഉണ്ടായാൽ അതു ത്വക്കിൽ ഉണ്ടാകുന്ന ചുണങ്ങു; അവൻ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവൻ.

And the man whose hair is fallen off his head, he is bald; yet is he clean.തലമുടി കൊഴിഞ്ഞവനോ കഷണ്ടിക്കാരനത്രേ; അവൻ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവൻ.

And he that has his hair fallen off from the part of his head toward his face, he is forehead bald: yet is he clean.തലയിൽ മുൻവശത്തെ രോമം കൊഴിഞ്ഞവൻ മുൻകഷണ്ടിക്കാരൻ; അവൻ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവൻ.

And if there be in the bald head, or bald forehead, a white reddish sore; it is a leprosy sprung up in his bald head, or his bald forehead.പിന്‍കഷണ്ടിയിലോ മുന്‍കഷണ്ടിയിലോ ചുവപ്പോടുകൂടിയ വെള്ളപ്പുള്ളിയുണ്ടായാല്‍ അതു അവന്റെ പിന്‍കഷണ്ടിയിലോ മുന്‍കഷണ്ടിയിലോ ഉത്ഭവിക്കുന്ന കുഷ്ടം.

Then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the rising of the sore be white reddish in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, as the leprosy appears in the skin of the flesh;പുരോഹിതൻ അതു നോക്കേണം; അവന്റെ പിൻകഷണ്ടിയിലോ മുൻകഷണ്ടിയിലോ ത്വക്കിൽ കുഷ്ഠത്തിന്റെ കാഴ്ചപോലെ വടുവിന്റെ തിണർപ്പു ചുവപ്പോടുകൂടി വെളുത്തതായിരുന്നാൽ അവൻ കുഷ്ഠരോഗി;

He is a leprous man, he is unclean: the priest shall pronounce him utterly unclean; his plague is in his head.അവൻ അശുദ്ധൻ തന്നേ; പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ അശുദ്ധൻ എന്നു തീർത്തു വിധിക്കേണം; അവന്നു തലയിൽ കുഷ്ഠരോഗം ഉണ്ടു.

And the leper in whom the plague is, his clothes shall be rent, and his head bare, and he shall put a covering upon his upper lip, and shall cry, Unclean, unclean.വടുവുള്ള കുഷ്ഠരോഗിയുടെ വസ്ത്രം കീറിക്കളയേണം: അവന്റെ തല മൂടാതിരിക്കേണം; അവൻ അധരം മൂടിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കയും അശുദ്ധൻ അശുദ്ധൻ എന്നു വിളിച്ചുപറകയും വേണം.

All the days wherein the plague shall be in him he shall be defiled; he is unclean: he shall dwell alone; without the camp shall his habitation be.അവന്നു രോഗം ഉള്ള നാൾ ഒക്കെയും അവൻ അശുദ്ധനായിരിക്കേണം; അവൻ അശുദ്ധൻ തന്നേ; അവൻ തനിച്ചു പാർക്കേണം; അവന്റെ പാർപ്പു പാളയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തു ആയിരിക്കേണം.

The garment also that the plague of leprosy is in, whether it be a woolen garment, or a linen garment;ആട്ടു രോമവസ്ത്രമോ ചണവസ്ത്രമോ ആയ ഏതു വസ്ത്രത്തിലെങ്കിലും

Whether it be in the warp, or woof; of linen, or of woolen; whether in a skin, or in any thing made of skin;ചണംകൊണ്ടോ ആട്ടുരോമംകൊണ്ടോ ഉള്ള പാവിൽ എങ്കിലും ഊടയിലെങ്കിലും തോലിലെങ്കിലും തോൽ കൊണ്ടു ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ യാതൊരു സാധനത്തിൽ എങ്കിലും

And if the plague be greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a plague of leprosy, and shall be showed unto the priest:കുഷ്ഠത്തിന്റെ വടുവായി വസ്ത്രത്തിൽ എങ്കിലും തോലിലെങ്കിലും പാവിലെങ്കിലും ഊടയിലെങ്കിലും തോൽകൊണ്ടുള്ള യാതൊരു സാധനത്തിലെങ്കിലും വടു ഇളമ്പച്ചയോ ഇളഞ്ചുവപ്പോ ആയിരുന്നാൽ അതു കുഷ്ഠലക്ഷണം ആകുന്നു; അതു പുരോഹിതനെ കാണിക്കേണം.

And the priest shall look upon the plague, and shut up it that has the plague seven days:പുരോഹിതൻ വടുനോക്കി വടുവുള്ളതിനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്തിട്ടു അടെക്കേണം.

And he shall look on the plague on the seventh day: if the plague be spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in a skin, or in any work that is made of skin; the plague is a fretting leprosy; it is unclean.അവൻ ഏഴാം ദിവസം വടുവിനെ നോക്കേണം; വസ്ത്രത്തിലോ പാവിലോ ഊടയിലോ തോലിലോ തോൽകൊണ്ടു ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ യാതൊരു പണിയിലോ വടു പരന്നിരുന്നാൽ ആ വടു കഠിന കുഷ്ഠം; അതു അശുദ്ധമാകുന്നു.

He shall therefore burn that garment, whether warp or woof, in woolen or in linen, or any thing of skin, wherein the plague is: for it is a fretting leprosy; it shall be burnt in the fire.വടുവുള്ള സാധനം ആട്ടിൻ രോമംകൊണ്ടോ ചണം കൊണ്ടോ ഉള്ള വസ്ത്രമോ പാവോ ഊടയോ തോൽകൊണ്ടുള്ള എന്തെങ്കിലുമോ ആയിരുന്നാലും അതു ചുട്ടുകളയേണം; അതു കഠിന കുഷ്ഠം; അതു തീയിൽ ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയേണം.

And if the priest shall look, and, behold, the plague be not spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin;എന്നാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ നോക്കേണം; വടു വസ്ത്രത്തിലോ പാവിലോ ഊടയിലോ തോൽകൊണ്ടുള്ള യാതൊരു സാധനത്തിലോ പരന്നിട്ടില്ല എങ്കിൽ

Then the priest shall command that they wash the thing wherein the plague is, and he shall shut it up seven days more:പുരോഹിതൻ വടുവുള്ള സാധനം കഴുകുവാൻ കല്പിക്കേണം; അതു പിന്നെയും ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്തിട്ടു അടെക്കേണം.

And the priest shall look on the plague, after that it is washed: and, behold, if the plague have not changed his colour, and the plague be not spread; it is unclean; you shall burn it in the fire; it is fret inward, whether it be bare within or without.കഴുകിയശേഷം പുരോഹിതൻ വടു നോക്കേണം: വടു നിറം മാറാതെയും പരക്കാതെയും ഇരുന്നാൽ അതു അശുദ്ധം ആകുന്നു; അതു തീയിൽ ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയേണം; അതു അതിന്റെ അകത്തോ പുറത്തോ തിന്നെടുക്കുന്ന വ്രണം.

And if the priest look, and, behold, the plague be somewhat dark after the washing of it; then he shall rend it out of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warp, or out of the woof:പിന്നെ പുരോഹിതൻ നോക്കേണം; കഴുകിയശേഷം വടുവിന്റെ നിറം മങ്ങി എങ്കിൽ അവൻ അതിനെ വസ്ത്രത്തിൽനിന്നോ തോലിൽനിന്നോ പാവിൽനിന്നോ ഊടയിൽനിന്നോ കീറിക്കളയേണം.

And if it appear still in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a spreading plague: you shall burn that wherein the plague is with fire.അതു വസ്ത്രത്തിലോ പാവിലോ ഊടയിലോ തോൽകൊണ്ടുള്ള യാതൊരു സാധനത്തിലോ കാണുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അതു പടരുന്നതാകുന്നു; വടുവുള്ളതു തീയിൽ ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയേണം.

And the garment, either warp, or woof, or whatsoever thing of skin it be, which you shall wash, if the plague be departed from them, then it shall be washed the second time, and shall be clean.എന്നാൽ വസ്ത്രമോ പാവോ ഊടയോ തോൽകൊണ്ടുള്ള യാതൊരു സാധനമോ കഴുകിയശേഷം വടു അവയിൽ നിന്നു നീങ്ങിപ്പോയി എങ്കിൽ അതിനെ രണ്ടാം പ്രാവശ്യം കഴുകേണം; അപ്പോൾ അതു ശുദ്ധമാകും.

This is the law of the plague of leprosy in a garment of woolen or linen, either in the warp, or woof, or any thing of skins, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.ആട്ടുരോമമോ ചണമോ കൊണ്ടുള്ള വസ്ത്രത്തിൽ എങ്കിലും പാവിൽ എങ്കിലും ഊടയിൽ എങ്കിലും തോൽകൊണ്ടുള്ള യാതൊന്നിലെങ്കിലും ഉള്ള കുഷ്ടത്തിന്റെ വടുവിനെക്കുറിച്ചു അതു ശുദ്ധമെന്നോ അശുദ്ധമെന്നോ വിധിപ്പാനുള്ള പ്രമാണം ഇതു തന്നേ.

Leviticus 14

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു:

This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought unto the priest:കുഷ്ഠരോഗിയുടെ ശുദ്ധീകരണദിവസത്തിൽ അവനെ സംബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള പ്രമാണമാവിതു: അവനെ പുരോഹിതന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.

And the priest shall go forth out of the camp; and the priest shall look, and, behold, if the plague of leprosy be healed in the leper;പുരോഹിതൻ പാളയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തുചെല്ലേണം; കുഷ്ഠരോഗിയുടെ കുഷ്ഠം സുഖമായി എന്നു പുരോഹിതൻ കണ്ടാൽ ശുദ്ധീകരണം

Then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two birds alive and clean, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:കഴിവാനുള്ളവന്നുവേണ്ടി ജീവനും ശുദ്ധിയുള്ള രണ്ടു പക്ഷി, ദേവദാരു, ചുവപ്പുനൂൽ, ഈസോപ്പു എന്നിവയെ കൊണ്ടുവരുവാൻ കല്പിക്കേണം.

And the priest shall command that one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running water:പുരോഹിതൻ ഒരു പക്ഷിയെ ഒരു മൺപാത്രത്തിലെ ഉറവുവെള്ളത്തിന്മീതെ അറുപ്പാൻ കല്പിക്കേണം.

As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water:ജീവനുള്ള പക്ഷി, ദേവദാരു, ചുവപ്പുനൂൽ, ഈസോപ്പു എന്നിവയെ അവൻ എടുത്തു ഇവയെയും ജീവനുള്ള പക്ഷിയെയും ഉറവുവെള്ളത്തിന്മീതെ അറുത്ത പക്ഷിയുടെ രക്തത്തിൽ മുക്കി

And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field.കുഷ്ഠശുദ്ധീകരണം കഴിവാനുള്ളവന്റെ മേൽ ഏഴു പ്രാവശ്യം തളിച്ചു അവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കയും ജീവനുള്ള പക്ഷിയെ വെളിയിൽ വിടുകയും വേണം.

And he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, that he may be clean: and after that he shall come into the camp, and shall tarry abroad out of his tent seven days.ശുദ്ധീകരണം കഴിയുന്നവൻ വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി രോമം ഒക്കെയും ക്ഷൌരം ചെയ്യിച്ചു വെള്ളത്തിൽ കുളിക്കേണം; എന്നാൽ അവൻ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനാകും; അതിന്റെ ശേഷം അവൻ പാളയത്തിൽ ചെന്നു തന്റെ കൂടാരത്തിന്നു പുറമേ ഏഴു ദിവസം പാർക്കേണം.

But it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off: and he shall wash his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean.ഏഴാം ദിവസം അവൻ തലയും താടിയും പുരികവും എല്ലാം വെടിപ്പാക്കേണം; ഇങ്ങനെ അവൻ സകല രോമവും ക്ഷൌരം ചെയ്യിച്ചു വസ്ത്രം അലക്കുകയും ദേഹം വെള്ളത്തിൽ കഴുകുകയും വേണം; എന്നാൽ അവൻ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനാകും.

And on the eighth day he shall take two he lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish, and three tenth deals of fine flour for a food offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil.എട്ടാം ദിവസം അവൻ ഊനമില്ലാത്ത രണ്ടു ആൺകുഞ്ഞാടിനെയും ഒരു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ള ഊനമില്ലാത്ത ഒരു പെൺകുഞ്ഞാടിനെയും ഭോജനയാഗമായിട്ടു എണ്ണ ചേർത്ത മൂന്നിടങ്ങഴി നേരിയ മാവും ഒരു കുറ്റി എണ്ണയും കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.

And the priest that makes him clean shall present the man that is to be made clean, and those things, before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:ശുദ്ധീകരണം കഴിക്കുന്ന പുരോഹിതൻ ശുദ്ധീകരണം കഴിയുന്നവനെ അവയുമായി യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതിൽക്കൽ നിർത്തേണം.

And the priest shall take one he lamb, and offer him for a trespass offering, and the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before the LORD:പുരോഹിതൻ ആൺകുഞ്ഞാടുകളിൽ ഒന്നിനെയും എണ്ണയും എടുത്തു അകൃത്യയാഗമായി അർപ്പിച്ചു യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ നീരാജനം ചെയ്യേണം.

And he shall slay the lamb in the place where he shall kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the holy place: for as the sin offering is the priest's, so is the trespass offering: it is most holy:അവൻ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽ പാപയാഗത്തെയും ഹോമയാഗത്തെയും അറുക്കുന്ന ഇടത്തുവെച്ചു കുഞ്ഞാടിനെ അറുക്കേണം; അകൃത്യയാഗം പാപയാഗം പോലെ പുരോഹിതന്നുള്ളതു ആകുന്നു; അതു അതിവിശുദ്ധം.

And the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and the priest shall put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:പുരോഹിതൻ അകൃത്യയാഗത്തിന്റെ രക്തം കുറെ എടുത്തു ശുദ്ധീകരണം കഴിയുന്നവന്റെ വലത്തുകാതിന്മേലും വലത്തു കയ്യുടെ പെരുവിരലിന്മേലും വലത്തുകാലിന്റെ പെരുവിരലിന്മേലും പുരട്ടേണം.

¹⁵

And the priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand:പിന്നെ പുരോഹിതൻ ആ എണ്ണ കുറെ തന്റെ ഇടത്തെ ഉള്ളങ്കയ്യിൽ ഒഴിക്കേണം.

¹⁶

And the priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle of the oil with his finger seven times before the LORD:പുരോഹിതൻ ഇടങ്കയ്യിൽ ഉള്ള എണ്ണയിൽ വലങ്കയ്യുടെ വിരൽ മുക്കി വിരൽകൊണ്ടു ഏഴു പ്രാവശ്യം യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ എണ്ണ തളിക്കേണം.

And of the rest of the oil that is in his hand shall the priest put upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the trespass offering:ഉള്ളങ്കയ്യിൽ ശേഷിച്ച എണ്ണ കുറെ പുരോഹിതൻ ശുദ്ധീകരണം കഴിയുന്നവന്റെ വലത്തുകാതിന്മേലും വലത്തുകയ്യുടെ പെരുവിരലിന്മേലും വലത്തുകാലിന്റെ പെരുവിരലിന്മേലും അകൃത്യയാഗത്തിന്റെ രക്തത്തിന്മീതെ പുരട്ടേണം.

And the remnant of the oil that is in the priest's hand he shall pour upon the head of him that is to be cleansed: and the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD.പുരോഹിതന്റെ ഉള്ളങ്കയ്യിൽ ശേഷിപ്പുള്ള എണ്ണ അവൻ ശുദ്ധീകരണം കഴിയുന്നവന്റെ തലയിൽ ഒഴിച്ചു യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ അവന്നുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം.

¹⁹

And the priest shall offer the sin offering, and make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed from his uncleanness; and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering:പുരോഹിതൻ പാപയാഗം അർപ്പിച്ചു അശുദ്ധിപോക്കി ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നവന്നുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിച്ചശേഷം ഹോമയാഗമൃഗത്തെ അറുക്കേണം.

And the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the food offering upon the altar: and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and he shall be clean.പുരോഹിതൻ ഹോമയാഗവും ഭോജനയാഗവും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേൽ അർപ്പിക്കേണം; അങ്ങനെ പുരോഹിതൻ അവന്നു വേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം; എന്നാൽ അവൻ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവൻ ആകും.

And if he be poor, and cannot get so much; then he shall take one lamb for a trespass offering to be waved, to make an atonement for him, and one tenth deal of fine flour mingled with oil for a food offering, and a log of oil;അവൻ ദരിദ്രനും അത്രെക്കു വകയില്ലാത്തവനും ആകുന്നു എങ്കിൽ തനിക്കു വേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീരാജനത്തിന്നായി അകൃത്യയാഗമായിട്ടു ഒരു കുഞ്ഞാടിനെയും ഭോജനയാഗമായിട്ടു എണ്ണ ചേർത്ത ഒരിടങ്ങഴി നേരിയ മാവും

And two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, such as he is able to get; and the one shall be a sin offering, and the other a burnt offering.ഒരു കുറ്റി എണ്ണയും പ്രാപ്തിപോലെ രണ്ടു കുറുപ്രാവിനെയോ രണ്ടു പ്രാവിൻ കുഞ്ഞിനെയോ ഒന്നിനെ പാപയാഗമായിട്ടും മറ്റേതിനെ ഹോമയാഗമായിട്ടും എടുത്തു തന്റെ ശുദ്ധീകരണത്തിന്നായി

And he shall bring them on the eighth day for his cleansing unto the priest, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, before the LORD.എട്ടാം ദിവസം സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതിൽക്കൽ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ പുരോഹിതന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.

And the priest shall take the lamb of the trespass offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the LORD:പുരോഹിതൻ അകൃത്യയാഗത്തിന്നുള്ള ആട്ടിൻ കുട്ടിയെയും എണ്ണയും എടുത്തു യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ നീരാജനം ചെയ്യേണം;

And he shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering, and the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:അവൻ അകൃത്യയാഗത്തിന്നുള്ള ആട്ടിൻ കുട്ടിയെ അറുക്കേണം; പുരോഹിതൻ അകൃത്യയാഗത്തിന്റെ രക്തം കുറെ എടുത്തു ശുദ്ധീകരണം കഴിയുന്നവന്റെ വലത്തു കാതിന്മേലും വലത്തുകയ്യുടെ പെരുവിരലിന്മേലും വലത്തു കാലിന്റെ പെരുവിരലിന്മേലും പുരട്ടേണം.

And the priest shall put of the oil that is in his hand upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the place of the blood of the trespass offering:പുരോഹിതൻ ഉള്ളങ്കയ്യിലുള്ള എണ്ണ കുറെശുദ്ധികരണം കഴിയുന്നവന്റെ വലത്തുകാതിന്മേലും വലത്തുകയ്യുടെ പെരുവിരലിന്മേലും വലത്തു കാലിന്റെ പെരുവിരലിന്മേലും അകൃത്യയാഗത്തിന്റെ രക്തം ഉള്ളേടത്തു പുരട്ടേണം.

And he shall offer the one of the turtledoves, or of the young pigeons, such as he can get;അവൻ പ്രാപ്തിപോലെ കുറുപ്രാവുകളിലോ

Even such as he is able to get, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, with the food offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed before the LORD.പ്രാവിൻ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളിലോ ഒന്നിനെ പാപയാഗമായിട്ടും മറ്റേതിനെ ഹോമയാഗമായിട്ടും ഭോജനയാഗത്തോടുകൂടെ അർപ്പിക്കേണം; ഇങ്ങനെ പുരോഹിതൻ ശുദ്ധീകരണം കഴിയുന്നവന്നുവേണ്ടി യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം.

This is the law of him in whom is the plague of leprosy, whose hand is not able to get that which pertains to his cleansing.ഇതു ശുദ്ധീകരണത്തിന്നുവേണ്ടി വകയില്ലാത്ത കുഷ്ഠരോഗിക്കുള്ള പ്രമാണം.

And the LORD spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടും അഹരോനോടും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാൽ:

When all of you be come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put the plague of leprosy in a house of the land of your possession;ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു അവകാശമായി തരുന്ന കനാൻ ദേശത്തു നിങ്ങൾ എത്തിയശേഷം ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ അവകാശദേശത്തു ഒരു വീട്ടിൽ കുഷ്ഠബാധ വരുത്തുമ്പോൾ

And he that owns the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, It seems to me there is as it were a plague in the house:വീട്ടുടമസ്ഥൻ വന്നു വീട്ടിൽ കുഷ്ഠലക്ഷണമുള്ള പ്രകാരം എനിക്കു തോന്നു എന്നു പുരോഹിതനെ അറിയിക്കേണം.

³⁶

Then the priest shall command that they empty the house, before the priest go into it to see the plague, that all that is in the house be not made unclean: and afterward the priest shall go in to see the house:അപ്പോൾ വീട്ടിലുള്ള സകലവും അശുദ്ധമാകാതിരിപ്പാൻ പുരോഹിതൻ വടു നോക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ചെല്ലുംമുമ്പെ വീടു ഒഴിച്ചിടുവാൻ കല്പിക്കേണം; പിന്നെ പുരോഹിതൻ വീടു നോക്കുവാൻ അകത്തു ചെല്ലേണം.

³⁷

And he shall look on the plague, and, behold, if the plague be in the walls of the house with hollow strakes, greenish or reddish, which in sight are lower than the wall;അവൻ വടു നോക്കേണം; വീട്ടിന്റെ ചുവരിൽ ഇളമ്പച്ചയും ഇളഞ്ചുവപ്പുമായ കുത്തുകൾ ഉണ്ടായിട്ടു അവ കാഴ്ചെക്കു ചുവരിനെക്കാൾ കുഴിഞ്ഞതായി കണ്ടാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ വീടു വിട്ടു

Then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days:വാതിൽക്കൽ വന്നു വീടു ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അടെച്ചിടേണം.

³⁹

And the priest shall come again the seventh day, and shall look: and, behold, if the plague be spread in the walls of the house;ഏഴാം ദിവസം പുരോഹിതൻ വീണ്ടും ചെന്നു നോക്കേണം; വടു വീട്ടിന്റെ ചുവരിൽ പരന്നിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ

Then the priest shall command that they take away the stones in which the plague is, and they shall cast them into an unclean place without the city:വടുവുള്ള കല്ലു നീക്കി പട്ടണത്തിന്നു പുറത്തു ഒരു അശുദ്ധസ്ഥലത്തു ഇടുവാൻ പുരോഹിതൻ കല്പിക്കേണം.

⁴¹

And he shall cause the house to be scraped within round about, and they shall pour out the dust that they scrape off without the city into an unclean place:പിന്നെ വീട്ടിന്റെ അകം ഒക്കെയും ചുരണ്ടിക്കേണം; ചുരണ്ടിയ മണ്ണു പട്ടണത്തിന്നു പുറത്തു ഒരു അശുദ്ധസ്ഥലത്തു കളയേണം.

And they shall take other stones, and put them in the place of those stones; and he shall take other mortar, and shall daubed the house.പിന്നെ വേറെ കല്ലു എടുത്തു ആ കല്ലിന്നു പകരം വെക്കേണം; വേറെ കുമ്മായം വീട്ടിന്നു തേക്കയും വേണം.

And if the plague come again, and break out in the house, after that he has taken away the stones, and after he has scraped the house, and after it is plaistered;അങ്ങനെ കല്ലു നീക്കുകയും വീടു ചുരണ്ടുകയും കുമ്മായം തേക്കയും ചെയ്തശേഷം വടു പിന്നെയും വീട്ടിൽ ഉണ്ടായി വന്നാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ ചെന്നു നോക്കേണം;

Then the priest shall come and look, and, behold, if the plague be spread in the house, it is a fretting leprosy in the house; it is unclean.വടു വീട്ടിൽ പരന്നിരുന്നാൽ അതു വീട്ടിൽ തിന്നെടുക്കുന്ന കുഷ്ഠം തന്നേ; അതു അശുദ്ധം ആകുന്നു.

⁴⁵

And he shall break down the house, the stones of it, and the timber thereof, and all the mortar of the house; and he shall carry them forth out of the city into an unclean place.വീട്ടിന്റെ കല്ലും മരവും കുമ്മായവും ഇടിച്ചു പൊളിച്ചു പട്ടണത്തിന്നു പുറത്തു ഒരു അശുദ്ധസ്ഥലത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോയി കളയേണം.

Moreover he that goes into the house all the while that it is shut up shall be unclean until the even.വീടു അടെച്ചിരുന്ന കാലത്തു എപ്പോഴെങ്കിലും അതിന്നകത്തു കടക്കുന്നവൻ സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനായിരിക്കേണം.

And he that lies in the house shall wash his clothes; and he that eats in the house shall wash his clothes.വീട്ടിൽ കിടക്കുന്നവൻ വസ്ത്രം അലക്കേണം ആ വീട്ടിൽ വെച്ചു ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കുന്നവനും വസ്ത്രം അലക്കേണം.

And if the priest shall come in, and look upon it, and, behold, the plague has not spread in the house, after the house was plaistered: then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed.വീട്ടിന്നു കുമ്മായം തേച്ചശേഷം പുരോഹിതൻ അകത്തു ചെന്നു നോക്കി വീട്ടിൽ വടു പരന്നിട്ടില്ല എന്നു കണ്ടാൽ വടു മാറിപ്പോയതുകൊണ്ടു പുരോഹിതൻ ആ വീടു ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളതു എന്നു വിധിക്കേണം.

And he shall take to cleanse the house two birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:അപ്പോൾ അവൻ വീടു ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു രണ്ടു പക്ഷി, ദേവദാരു, ചുവപ്പുനൂൽ, ഈസോപ്പു എന്നിവയെ എടുത്തു

And he shall kill the one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water:ഒരു പക്ഷിയെ മൺപാത്രത്തിലുള്ള ഉറവുവെള്ളത്തിന്മീതെ അറുക്കേണം.

And he shall take the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird, and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times:പിന്നെ ദേവദാരു, ഈസോപ്പു, ചുവപ്പു നൂൽ, ജീവനുള്ള പക്ഷി എന്നിവയെ എടുത്തു അറുത്ത പക്ഷിയുടെ രക്തത്തിലും ഉറവുവെള്ളത്തിലും മുക്കി വീട്ടിന്മേൽ ഏഴു പ്രാവശ്യം തളിക്കേണം.

And he shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the cedar wood, and with the hyssop, and with the scarlet:പക്ഷിയുടെ രക്തം, ഉറവു വെള്ളം, ജിവനുള്ള പക്ഷി, ദേവദാരു, ഈസോപ്പു, ചുവപ്പുനൂൽ എന്നിവയെക്കൊണ്ടു വീടു ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണം.

But he shall let go the living bird out of the city into the open fields, and make an atonement for the house: and it shall be clean.ജീവനുള്ള പക്ഷിയെ പട്ടണത്തിന്നു പുറത്തു വെളിയിൽ വിടേണം; അങ്ങനെ വീട്ടിന്നു വേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം; എന്നാൽ അതു ശുദ്ധമാകും.

This is the law for all manner of plague of leprosy, and scab,ഇതു സകല കുഷ്ഠത്തിന്നും വടുവിന്നും

And for the leprosy of a garment, and of a house,പുറ്റിന്നും വസ്ത്രത്തിന്റെയും വീട്ടിന്റെയും

And for a rising, and for a scab, and for a bright spot:കുഷ്ഠത്തിന്നും തിണർപ്പിന്നും ചുണങ്ങിന്നും ചിരങ്ങിന്നും വെളുത്തപുള്ളിക്കും ഉള്ള പ്രമാണം.
