Deuteronomy 8

All the commandments which I command you this day shall all of you observe to do, that all of you may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD swore unto your fathers.നിങ്ങൾ ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കയും വർദ്ധിക്കയും യഹോവ നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു സത്യം ചെയ്ത ദേശം ചെന്നു കൈവശമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ ഇന്നു നിങ്ങളോടു കല്പിക്കുന്ന സകലകല്പനകളും നിങ്ങൾ പ്രമാണിച്ചുനടക്കേണം.

And you shall remember all the way which the LORD your God led you these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you, and to prove you, to know what was in yours heart, whether you would keep his commandments, or no.നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിന്നെ താഴ്ത്തുവാനും തന്റെ കല്പനകൾ പ്രമാണിക്കുമോ ഇല്ലയോ എന്നു നിന്നെ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു നിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നതു അറിവാനുമായി നിന്നെ ഈ നാല്പതു സംവത്സരം മരുഭൂമിയിൽ നടത്തിയ വിധമൊക്കെയും നീ ഓർക്കേണം.

And he humbled you, and suffered you to hunger, and fed you with manna, which you knew not, neither did your fathers know; that he might make you know that man does not live by bread only, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of the LORD does man live.അവൻ നിന്നെ താഴ്ത്തുകയും നിന്നെ വിശപ്പിക്കയും മനുഷ്യൻ അപ്പംകൊണ്ടു മാത്രമല്ല യഹോവയുടെ വായിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുന്ന സകലവചനംകൊണ്ടും ജീവിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നിന്നെ ഗ്രഹിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീയും നിന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരും അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ലാത്ത മന്നകൊണ്ടു നിന്നെ പോഷിപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

Your raiment waxed not old upon you, neither did your foot swell, these forty years.ഈ നാല്പതു സംവത്സരം നീ ധരിച്ചവസ്ത്രം ജീർണ്ണിച്ചുപോയില്ല; നിന്റെ കാൽ വീങ്ങിയതുമില്ല.

You shall also consider in yours heart, that, as a man chastens his son, so the LORD your God chastens you.ഒരു മനുഷ്യൻ തന്റെ മകനെ ശിക്ഷിച്ചുവളർത്തുന്നതു പോലെ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിന്നെ ശിക്ഷിച്ചുവളർത്തുന്നു എന്നു നീ മനസ്സിൽ ധ്യാനിച്ചുകൊള്ളേണം.

Therefore you shall keep the commandments of the LORD your God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.ആകയാൽ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ വഴികളിൽ നടന്നു അവനെ ഭയപ്പെട്ടു അവന്റെ കല്പനകൾ പ്രമാണിക്കേണം.

For the LORD your God brings you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills;നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നല്ലോരു ദേശത്തേക്കല്ലോ നിന്നെ കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നതു; അതു താഴ്വരയിൽനിന്നും മലയിൽനിന്നും പുറപ്പെടുന്ന നീരൊഴുക്കുകളും ഉറവുകളും തടാകങ്ങളും ഉള്ള ദേശം;

A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey;കോതമ്പും യവവും മുന്തിരിവള്ളിയും അത്തിവൃക്ഷവും മാതളനാരകവും ഉള്ള ദേശം;

A land wherein you shall eat bread without scarceness, you shall not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills you may dig brass.ഒലിവുവൃക്ഷവും തേനും ഉള്ള ദേശം; സുഭിക്ഷമായി ഉപജീവനം കഴിയാകുന്നതും ഒന്നിന്നും കുറവില്ലാത്തതുമായ ദേശം; കല്ലു ഇരിമ്പായിരിക്കുന്നതും മലകളിൽ നിന്നു താമ്രം വെട്ടി എടുക്കുന്നതുമായ ദേശം.

When you have eaten and are full, then you shall bless the LORD your God for the good land which he has given you.നീ ഭക്ഷിച്ചു തൃപ്തിപ്രാപിക്കുമ്പോൾ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്ന നല്ല ദേശത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു നീ അവന്നു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യേണം.

Beware that you forget not the LORD your God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command you this day:നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ നീ മറക്കാതിരിപ്പാനും, ഞാൻ ഇന്നു നിന്നോടു കല്പിക്കുന്ന അവന്റെ കല്പനകളും വിധികളും ചട്ടങ്ങളും അലക്ഷ്യമാക്കാതിരിപ്പാനും,

Lest when you have eaten and are full, and have built goodly houses, and dwelt therein;നീ ഭക്ഷിച്ചു തൃപ്തിപ്രാപിച്ചു നല്ല വീടുകൾ പണിതു അവയിൽ പാർക്കുമ്പോഴും

And when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and your gold is multiplied, and all that you have is multiplied;നിന്റെ ആടുമാടുകൾ പെരുകി നിനക്കു വെള്ളിയും പൊന്നും ഏറി നിനക്കുള്ളതു ഒക്കെയും വദ്ധിക്കുമ്പോഴും നിന്റെ ഹൃദയം നിഗളിക്കാതാരിപ്പാനും,

Then yours heart be lifted up, and you forget the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage;നിന്നെ അടിമവീടായ മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കയും

Who led you through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought you forth water out of the rock of flint;അഗ്നിസർപ്പവും തേളും വെള്ളമില്ലാതെ വരൾച്ചയും ഉള്ള വലിയതും ഭയങ്കരവുമായ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ കൂടി നിന്നെ കൊണ്ടുവരികയും തീക്കല്പാറയിൽനിന്നു നിനക്കു വെള്ളം പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കയും

Who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers knew not, that he might humble you, and that he might prove you, to do you good at your latter end;നിന്നെ താഴ്ത്തി പരീക്ഷിച്ചു പിൻകാലത്തു നിനക്കു നന്മ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു മരുഭൂമിയിൽ നിന്നെ നിന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാർ അറിയാത്ത മന്നകൊണ്ടു പോഷിപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്ത നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ നീ മറന്നു:

And you say in yours heart, My power and the might of mine hand has got me this wealth.എന്റെ ശക്തിയും എന്റെ കയ്യുടെ ബലവും ഈ സമ്പത്തുണ്ടാക്കി എന്നു നിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ പറയാതിരിപ്പാനും സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്ളേണം.

But you shall remember the LORD your God: for it is he that gives you power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he swore unto your fathers, as it is this day.നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ നീ ഓർക്കേണം; നിന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു സത്യം ചെയ്ത തന്റെ നിയമം ഇന്നുള്ളതുപോലെ ഉറപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവനല്ലോ നിനക്കു സമ്പത്തുണ്ടാക്കുവാൻ ശക്തിതരുന്നതു.

And it shall be, if you do at all forget the LORD your God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that all of you shall surely perish.നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ നീ മറക്കയും അന്യദൈവങ്ങളെ പിന്തുടർന്നു അവയെ സേവിച്ചു നമസ്കരിക്കയും ചെയ്താൽ നിങ്ങൾ നശിച്ചുപോകും എന്നു ഞാൻ ഇന്നു നിങ്ങളോടു സാക്ഷീകരിക്കുന്നു.

As the nations which the LORD destroys before your face, so shall all of you perish; because all of you would not be obedient unto the voice of the LORD your God.നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ വാക്കു നിങ്ങൾ കേൾക്കാതിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവ നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ നിന്നു നശിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ജാതികളെപ്പോലെ തന്നേ നിങ്ങളും നശിച്ചുപോകും.

Deuteronomy 9

Hear, O Israel: You are to pass over Jordan this day, to go in to possess nations greater and mightier than yourself, cities great and fenced up to heaven,യിസ്രായേലേ, കേൾക്ക; നീ ഇന്നു യോർദ്ദാൻ കടന്നു നിന്നെക്കാൾ വലിപ്പവും ബലവുമുള്ള ജാതികളെയും ആകാശത്തോളം ഉയർന്ന മതിലുള്ള വലിയ പട്ടണങ്ങളെയും

A people great and tall, the children of the Anakims, whom you know, and of whom you have heard say, Who can stand before the children of Anak!വലിപ്പവും പൊക്കവുമുള്ള അനാക്യരെന്ന ജാതിയെയും അടക്കുവാൻ പോകുന്നു; നീ അവരെ അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ; അനാക്യരുടെ മുമ്പാകെ നിൽക്കാകുന്നവൻ ആർ എന്നിങ്ങനെയുള്ള ചൊല്ലു നീ കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

Understand therefore this day, that the LORD your God is he which goes over before you; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before your face: so shall you drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the LORD has said unto you.എന്നാൽ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന അഗ്നിയായി നിനക്കു മുമ്പിൽ കടന്നുപോകുന്നു എന്നു നീ ഇന്നു അറിഞ്ഞുകൊൾക. അവൻ അവരെ നശിപ്പിക്കയും നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ താഴ്ത്തുകയും ചെയ്യും; അങ്ങനെ യഹോവ നിന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുപോലെ നീ അവരെ നീക്കിക്കളകയും ക്ഷണത്തിൽ നശിപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

Speak not you in yours heart, after that the LORD your God has cast them out from before you, saying, For my righteousness the LORD has brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD does drive them out from before you.നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ അവരെ നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞശേഷം: എന്റെ നീതിനിമിത്തം ഈ ദേശം കൈവശമാക്കുവാൻ യഹോവ എന്നെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു എന്നു നിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ പറയരുതു; ആ ജാതിയുടെ ദുഷ്ടതനിമിത്തമത്രേ യഹോവ അവരെ നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയുന്നതു.

Not for your righteousness, or for the uprightness of yours heart, do you go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD your God does drive them out from before you, and that he may perform the word which the LORD swore unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.നീ അവരുടെ ദേശം കൈവശമാക്കുവാൻ ചെല്ലുന്നതു നിന്റെ നീതിനിമിത്തവും നിന്റെ ഹൃദയപരമാർത്ഥംനിമിത്തവും അല്ല, ആ ജാതിയുടെ ദുഷ്ടതനിമിത്തവും അബ്രാഹാം, യിസ്ഹാക്, യാക്കോബ് എന്ന നിന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു യഹോവ സത്യം ചെയ്ത വചനം നിവർത്തിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും അത്രേ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ അവരെ നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയുന്നതു.

Understand therefore, that the LORD your God gives you not this good land to possess it for your righteousness; for you are a stubborn people.ആകയാൽ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്കു ആ നല്ലദേശം അവകാശമായി തരുന്നതു നിന്റെ നീതിനിമിത്തം അല്ലെന്നു അറിഞ്ഞുകൊൾക; നീ ദുശ്ശാഠ്യമുള്ള ജനമല്ലോ;

Remember, and forget not, how you provoked the LORD your God to wrath in the wilderness: from the day that you did depart out of the land of Egypt, until all of you came unto this place, all of you have been rebellious against the LORD.നീ മരുഭൂമിയിൽവെച്ചു നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ കോപിപ്പിച്ചു എന്നു ഓർക്ക; മറന്നുകളയരുതു; മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ട നാൾമുതൽ ഈ സ്ഥലത്തു വന്നതുവരെയും നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവയോടു മത്സരിക്കുന്നവരായിരുന്നു.

Also in Horeb all of you provoked the LORD to wrath, so that the LORD was angry with you to have destroyed you.ഹോരേബിലും നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവയെ കോപിപ്പിച്ചു; അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവ നിങ്ങളെ നശിപ്പിപ്പാൻ വിചാരിക്കുംവണ്ണം നിങ്ങളോടു കോപിച്ചു.

When I was gone up into the mount to receive the tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant which the LORD made with you, then I abode in the mount forty days and forty nights, I neither did eat bread nor drink water:യഹോവ നിങ്ങളോടു ചെയ്ത നിയമത്തിന്റെ പലകകളായ കല്പലകകളെ വാങ്ങുവാൻ ഞാൻ പർവ്വതത്തിൽകയറി നാല്പതു രാവും നാല്പതു പകലും പർവ്വതത്തിൽ താമസിച്ചു: ഞാൻ ആഹാരം കഴിക്കയോ വെള്ളം കുടിക്കയോ ചെയ്തില്ല.

And the LORD delivered unto me two tables of stone written with the finger of God; and on them was written according to all the words, which the LORD spoke with you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly.ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വിരൽകൊണ്ടു എഴുതിയ രണ്ടു കല്പലക യഹോവ എന്റെ പക്കൽ തന്നു; മഹായോഗം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന നാളിൽ യഹോവ പർവ്വതത്തിൽവെച്ചു തീയുടെ നടുവിൽനിന്നു നിങ്ങളോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത സകലവചനങ്ങളും അവയിൽ എഴുതിയിരുന്നു.

And it came to pass at the end of forty days and forty nights, that the LORD gave me the two tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant.നാല്പതു രാവും നാല്പതു പകലും കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോഴായിരുന്നു യഹോവ എന്റെ പക്കൽ നിയമത്തിന്റെ പലകകളായ ആ രണ്ടു കല്പലക തന്നതു.

And the LORD said unto me, Arise, get you down quickly from behind; for your people which you have brought forth out of Egypt have corrupted themselves; they are quickly turned aside out of the way which I commanded them; they have made them a molten image.അപ്പോൾ യഹോവ എന്നോടു: നീ എഴുന്നേറ്റു ക്ഷണത്തിൽ ഇവിടെനിന്നു ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെല്ലുക; നീ മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന നിന്റെ ജനം തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ വഷളാക്കി, ഞാൻ അവരോടു കല്പിച്ച വഴി വേഗത്തിൽ വിട്ടുമാറി ഒരു വിഗ്രഹം വാർത്തുണ്ടാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

Furthermore the LORD spoke unto me, saying, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stubborn people:ഞാൻ ഈ ജനത്തെ ദുശ്ശാഠ്യമുള്ള ജനം എന്നു കാണുന്നു;

Let me alone, that I may destroy them, and blot out their name from under heaven: and I will make of you a nation mightier and greater than they.എന്നെ വിടുക; ഞാൻ അവരെ നശിപ്പിച്ചു അവരുടെ പേർ ആകാശത്തിൻ കീഴിൽനിന്നു മായിച്ചുകളയും; നിന്നെ അവരെക്കാൾ ബലവും വലിപ്പവുമുള്ള ജാതിയാക്കും എന്നും യഹോവ എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

So I turned and came down from the mount, and the mount burned with fire: and the two tables of the covenant were in my two hands.അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ തിരിഞ്ഞു പർവ്വതത്തിൽനിന്നു ഇറങ്ങി; പർവ്വതം തീ കാളിക്കത്തുകയായിരുന്നു; നിയമത്തിന്റെ പലക രണ്ടും എന്റെ രണ്ടു കയ്യിലും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

And I looked, and, behold, all of you had sinned against the LORD your God, and had made you a molten calf: all of you had turned aside quickly out of the way which the LORD had commanded you.ഞാൻ നോക്കിയാറെ നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയോടു പാപംചെയ്തു ഒരു കാളക്കുട്ടിയെ വാർത്തുണ്ടാക്കി യഹോവ നിങ്ങളോടു കല്പിച്ച വഴി വേഗത്തിൽ വിട്ടുമാറിയിരുന്നതു കണ്ടു.

And I took the two tables, and cast them out of my two hands, and brake them before your eyes.അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ പലക രണ്ടും എന്റെ രണ്ടുകയ്യിൽനിന്നു നിങ്ങൾ കാൺകെ എറിഞ്ഞു ഉടെച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

And I fell down before the LORD, as at the first, forty days and forty nights: I did neither eat bread, nor drink water, because of all your sins which all of you sinned, in doing wickedly in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.പിന്നെ യഹോവയെ കോപിപ്പിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം നിങ്ങൾ അവന്നു അനിഷ്ടമായി പ്രവർത്തിച്ച നിങ്ങളുടെ സകലപാപങ്ങളും നിമിത്തം ഞാൻ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ മുമ്പിലത്തെപ്പോലെ നാല്പതു രാവും നാല്പതു പകലും വീണു കിടന്നു; ഞാൻ ആഹാരം കഴിക്കയോ വെള്ളം കുടിക്കയോ ചെയ്തില്ല.

For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the LORD was angry against you to destroy you. But the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also.യഹോവ നിങ്ങളെ നശിപ്പിക്കുമാറു നിങ്ങളുടെ നേരെ കോപിച്ച കോപവും ക്രോധവും ഞാൻ ഭയപ്പെട്ടു; എന്നാൽ യഹോവ ആ പ്രാവശ്യവും എന്റെ അപേക്ഷ കേട്ടു.

And the LORD was very angry with Aaron to have destroyed him: and I prayed for Aaron also the same time.അഹരോനെ നശിപ്പിക്കുമാറു അവന്റെ നേരെയും യഹോവ ഏറ്റവും കോപിച്ചു; എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ അന്നു അഹരോന്നു വേണ്ടിയും അപേക്ഷിച്ചു.

And I took your sin, the calf which all of you had made, and burnt it with fire, and stamped it, and ground it very small, even until it was as small as dust: and I cast the dust thereof into the brook that descended out of the mount.നിങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപമായ കാളക്കുട്ടിയെ ഞാൻ എടുത്തു തീയിൽ ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുനന്നായി അരെച്ചു നേരിയ പൊടിയാക്കി പൊടി പർവ്വതത്തിൽനിന്നു ഇറങ്ങുന്ന തോട്ടിൽ ഇട്ടുകളഞ്ഞു.

And at Taberah, and at Massah, and at Kibrothhattaavah, all of you provoked the LORD to wrath.തബേരയിലും മസ്സയിലും കിബ്രോത്ത്-ഹത്താവയിലുംവെച്ചു നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവയെ കോപിപ്പിച്ചു.

Likewise when the LORD sent you from Kadeshbarnea, saying, Go up and possess the land which I have given you; then all of you rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God, and all of you believed him not, nor hearkened to his voice.നിങ്ങൾ ചെന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു തന്നിട്ടുള്ള ദേശം കൈവശമാക്കുവിൻ എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു യഹോവ നിങ്ങളെ കാദേശ്--ബർന്നേയയിൽനിന്നു അയച്ചപ്പോഴും നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനയോടു മറുത്തു; അവനെ വിശ്വസിച്ചില്ല; അവന്റെ വാക്കു അനുസരിച്ചതുമില്ല.

All of you have been rebellious against the LORD from the day that I knew you.ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ അറിഞ്ഞ നാൾമുതൽ നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവയോടു മത്സരികളായിരിക്കുന്നു.

Thus I fell down before the LORD forty days and forty nights, as I fell down at the first; because the LORD had said he would destroy you.യഹോവ നിങ്ങളെ നശിപ്പിക്കുമെന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ നാല്പതു രാവും നാല്പതു പകലും വീണുകിടന്നു;

I prayed therefore unto the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, destroy not your people and yours inheritance, which you have redeemed through your greatness, which you have brought forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand.ഞാൻ യഹോവയോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞതു: കർത്താവായ യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ മഹത്വംകൊണ്ടു നീ വീണ്ടെടുത്തു ബലമുള്ള കയ്യാൽ മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന നിന്റെ ജനത്തെയും നിന്റെ അവകാശത്തെയും നശിപ്പിക്കരുതേ.

Remember your servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; look not unto the stubbornness of this people, nor to their wickedness, nor to their sin:അബ്രാഹാം, യിസ്ഹാക്, യാക്കോബ് എന്ന നിന്റെ ദാസന്മാരെ ഓർക്കേണമേ; താൻ അവർക്കു വാഗ്ദത്തം ചെയ്തിരുന്ന ദേശത്തു അവരെ എത്തിപ്പാൻ യഹോവെക്കു കഴിയായ്കകൊണ്ടും അവൻ അവരെ പകെച്ചതുകൊണ്ടും അവരെ കൊണ്ടുപോയി മരുഭൂമിയിൽവെച്ചു കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞു എന്നു നീ ഞങ്ങളെ വിടുവിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോന്ന ദേശക്കാർ പറയാതിരിപ്പാൻ

Lest the land whence you brought us out say, Because the LORD was not able to bring them into the land which he promised them, and because he hated them, he has brought them out to slay them in the wilderness.ഈ ജനത്തിന്റെ ശഠതയും അവരുടെ അകൃത്യവും പാപവും നോക്കരുതേ.

Yet they are your people and yours inheritance, which you brought out by your mighty power and by your stretched out arm.അവർ നിന്റെ മഹാബലംകൊണ്ടും നീട്ടിയ ഭുജംകൊണ്ടും നീ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന നിന്റെ ജനവും നിന്റെ അവകാശവും അല്ലോ.

Deuteronomy 10

At that time the LORD said unto me, Hew you two tables of stone like unto the first, and come up unto me into the mount, and make you an ark of wood.അക്കാലത്തു യഹോവ എന്നോടു: നീ മുമ്പിലത്തെപോലെ രണ്ടു കല്പലക വെട്ടിയെടുത്തു എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പർവ്വതത്തിൽ കയറിവരിക; മരംകൊണ്ടു ഒരു പെട്ടകവും ഉണ്ടാക്കുക.

And I will write on the tables the words that were in the first tables which you brake, and you shall put them in the ark.നീ ഉടെച്ചുകളഞ്ഞ മുമ്പിലത്തെ പലകകളിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന വചനങ്ങൾ ഞാൻ ആ പലകകളിൽ എഴുതും; നീ അവയെ ആ പെട്ടകത്തിൽ വെക്കേണം എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

And I made an ark of shittim wood, and hewed two tables of stone like unto the first, and went up into the mount, having the two tables in mine hand.അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ ഖദിരമരംകൊണ്ടു ഒരു പെട്ടകം ഉണ്ടാക്കി മുമ്പിലത്തേവ പോലെ രണ്ടു കല്പലക വെട്ടിയെടുത്തു കയ്യിൽ ആ പലകയുമായി പർവ്വതത്തിൽ കയറി.

And he wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which the LORD spoke unto you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly: and the LORD gave them unto me.മഹായോഗം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന നാളിൽ യഹോവ പർവ്വതത്തിൽ തീയുടെ നടുവിൽനിന്നു നിങ്ങളോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത പത്തു കല്പനയും യഹോവ മുമ്പിലത്തെ എഴുത്തുപോലെ പലകകളിൽ എഴുതി, അവയെ എന്റെ പക്കൽ തന്നു.

And I turned myself and came down from the mount, and put the tables in the ark which I had made; and there they be, as the LORD commanded me.അനന്തരം ഞാൻ തിരിഞ്ഞു പർവ്വതത്തിൽ നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങി ഞാൻ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിരുന്ന പെട്ടകത്തിൽ പലക വെച്ചു; യഹോവ എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ അവ അവിടെത്തന്നേ ഉണ്ടു. -

And the children of Israel took their journey from Beeroth of the children of Jaakan to Mosera: there Aaron died, and there he was buried; and Eleazar his son ministered in the priest's office in his position.യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ ബെനേ-ആക്കാൻ എന്ന ബേരോത്തിൽനിന്നു മോസരയിലേക്കു യാത്രചെയ്തു. അവിടെവെച്ചു അഹരോൻ മരിച്ചു; അവിടെ അവനെ അടക്കംചെയ്തു; അവന്റെ മകൻ എലെയാസാർ അവന്നു പകരം പുരോഹിതനായി.

From thence they journeyed unto Gudgodah; and from Gudgodah to Jotbath, a land of rivers of waters.അവിടെനിന്നു അവർ ഗുദ്ഗോദെക്കും ഗുദ്ഗോദയിൽ നിന്നു നീരൊഴുക്കുള്ള ദേശമായ യൊത്-ബത്തെക്കും യാത്രചെയ്തു.

At that time the LORD separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to minister unto him, and to bless in his name, unto this day.അക്കാലത്തു യഹോവ ലേവിഗോത്രത്തെ യഹോവയുടെ നിയമ പെട്ടകം ചുമപ്പാനും ഇന്നുവരെ നടന്നുവരുന്നതുപോലെ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ നിന്നു ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്‍വാനും അവന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ അനുഗ്രഹിപ്പാനും വേറുതിരിച്ചു.

Wherefore Levi has no part nor inheritance with his brethren; the LORD is his inheritance, according as the LORD your God promised him.അതുകൊണ്ടു ലേവിക്കു അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരോടുകൂടെ ഓഹരിയും അവകാശവും ഇല്ല; നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ അവന്നു വാഗ്ദത്തം ചെയ്തതുപോലെ യഹോവ തന്നേ അവന്റെ അവകാശം. -

And I stayed in the mount, according to the first time, forty days and forty nights; and the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also, and the LORD would not destroy you.ഞാൻ മുമ്പിലത്തെപ്പോലെ നാല്പതു രാവും നാല്പതു പകലും പർവ്വതത്തിൽ താമസിച്ചു; ആ പ്രാവശ്യവും യഹോവ എന്റെ അപേക്ഷ കേട്ടു; നിന്നെ നശിപ്പിക്കാതിരിപ്പാൻ യഹോവെക്കു സമ്മതമായി.

And the LORD said unto me, Arise, take your journey before the people, that they may go in and possess the land, which I swore unto their fathers to give unto them.പിന്നെ യഹോവ എന്നോടു: നീ എഴുന്നേറ്റു യാത്രപുറപ്പെട്ടു ജനത്തിന്നു മുന്നടക്ക; അവർക്കു കൊടുക്കുമെന്നു ഞാൻ അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു സത്യംചെയ്ത ദേശം അവർ ചെന്നു കൈവശമാക്കട്ടെ എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul,ആകയാൽ യിസ്രായേലേ, നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ ഭയപ്പെടുകയും അവന്റെ എല്ലാവഴികളിലും നടക്കയും അവനെ സ്നേഹിക്കയും നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ പൂർണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടും പൂർണ്ണമനസ്സോടുംകൂടെ സേവിക്കയും

To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command you this day for your good?ഞാൻ ഇന്നു നിന്നോടു ആജ്ഞാപിക്കുന്ന യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനകളും ചട്ടങ്ങളും നിന്റെ നന്മെക്കായി പ്രമാണിക്കയും വേണം എന്നല്ലാതെ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിന്നോടു ചോദിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു?

¹⁴

Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the LORD's your God, the earth also, with all that therein is.ഇതാ, സ്വർഗ്ഗവും സ്വർഗ്ഗാധി സ്വർഗ്ഗവും ഭൂമിയും അതിലുള്ളതൊക്കെയും നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവെക്കുള്ളവ ആകുന്നു.

Only the LORD had a delight in your fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.നിന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു മാത്രം യഹോവെക്കു പ്രീതിതോന്നി അവരെ സ്നേഹിച്ചു; അവരുടെ ശേഷം അവരുടെ സന്തതിയായ നിങ്ങളെ ഇന്നുള്ളതുപോലെ അവൻ സകലജാതികളിലും വെച്ചു തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു.

Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stubborn.ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിന്റെ അഗ്രചർമ്മം പരിച്ഛേദന ചെയ്‍വിൻ; ഇനിമേൽ ദുശ്ശാഠ്യമുള്ളവരാകരുതു.

For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regards not persons, nor takes reward:നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ദേവാധിദൈവവും കർത്താധികർത്താവുമായി വല്ലഭനും ഭയങ്കരനുമായ മഹാദൈവമല്ലോ; അവൻ മുഖം നോക്കുന്നില്ല പ്രതിഫലം വാങ്ങുന്നതുമില്ല.

He does execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loves the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.അവൻ അനാഥർക്കും വിധവമാർക്കും ന്യായം നടത്തിക്കൊടുക്കുന്നു; പരദേശിയെ സ്നേഹിച്ചു അവന്നു അന്നവും വസ്ത്രവും നല്കുന്നു.

Love all of you therefore the stranger: for all of you were strangers in the land of Egypt.ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ പരദേശിയെ സ്നേഹിപ്പിൻ; നിങ്ങളും മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു പരദേശികളായിരുന്നുവല്ലോ.

You shall fear the LORD your God; him shall you serve, and to him shall you cleave, and swear by his name.നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ നീ ഭയപ്പെടേണം; അവനെ സേവിക്കേണം; അവനോടു ചേർന്നിരിക്കേണം; അവന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ സത്യം ചെയ്യേണം.

He is your praise, and he is your God, that has done for you these great and terrible things, which yours eyes have seen.അവൻ ആകുന്നു നിന്റെ പുകഴ്ച; അവൻ ആകുന്നു നിന്റെ ദൈവം; നീ കണ്ണാലെ കണ്ടിട്ടുള്ള മഹത്തും ഭയങ്കരവുമായ കാര്യങ്ങളെ നിനക്കുവേണ്ടി ചെയ്തതു അവൻ തന്നേ.

Your fathers went down into Egypt with threescore and ten persons; and now the LORD your God has made you as the stars of heaven for multitude.നിന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാർ എഴുപതു ദേഹികളായി മിസ്രയീമിലേക്കു ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോയി; ഇപ്പോഴോ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിന്നെ പെരുക്കി ആകാശത്തിലെ നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

Deuteronomy 11

Therefore you shall love the LORD your God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, always.ആകയാൽ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ നീ സ്നേഹിച്ചു അവന്റെ പ്രമാണവും ചട്ടങ്ങളും വിധികളും കല്പനകളും എല്ലായ്പോഴും പ്രമാണിക്കേണം.

And know all of you this day: for I speak not with your children which have not known, and which have not seen the chastisement of the LORD your God, his greatness, his mighty hand, and his stretched out arm,നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ ശിക്ഷ, അവന്റെ മഹത്വം, അവന്റെ ബലമുള്ള കൈ, അവന്റെ നീട്ടിയ ഭുജം,

And his miracles, and his acts, which he did in the midst of Egypt unto Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and unto all his land;അവൻ മിസ്രയീമിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യേ മിസ്രയീംരാജാവായ ഫറവോനോടും അവന്റെ സകലദേശത്തോടും ചെയ്ത അവന്റെ അടയാളങ്ങൾ, അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ,

And what he did unto the army of Egypt, unto their horses, and to their chariots; how he made the water of the Red sea to overflow them as they pursued after you, and how the LORD has destroyed them unto this day;അവൻ മിസ്രയീമ്യരുടെ സൈന്യത്തോടും കുതിരകളോടും രഥങ്ങളോടും ചെയ്തതു, അവർ നിങ്ങളെ പിന്തുടർന്നപ്പോൾ അവൻ ചെങ്കടലിലെ വെള്ളം അവരുടെ മേൽ ഒഴുകുമാറാക്കി ഇന്നുവരെ കാണുന്നതു പോലെ അവരെ നശിപ്പിച്ചതു,

And what he did unto you in the wilderness, until all of you came into this place;നിങ്ങൾ ഇവിടെ വരുവോളം മരുഭൂമിയിൽവെച്ചു അവൻ നിങ്ങളോടു ചെയ്തതു,

And what he did unto Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben: how the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents, and all the substance that was in their possession, in the midst of all Israel:അവൻ രൂബേന്റെ മകനായ എലീയാബിന്റെ മക്കളായ ദാഥാനോടും അബീരാമിനോടും ചെയ്തതു, ഭൂമി വാ പിളർന്നു അവരെയും കുടുംബങ്ങളെയും കൂടാരങ്ങളെയും എല്ലായിസ്രായേല്യരുടെയും മദ്ധ്യേ അവർക്കുള്ള സകലജീവികളെയും വിഴുങ്ങിക്കളഞ്ഞതു എന്നിങ്ങനെയുള്ളവ അറിയാത്തവരും കാണാത്തവരുമായ നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളോടല്ല ഞാൻ സംസാരിക്കുന്നതു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ ഇന്നു അറിഞ്ഞുകൊൾവിൻ.

But your eyes have seen all the great acts of the LORD which he did.യഹോവ ചെയ്ത മഹാപ്രവൃത്തികളൊക്കെയും നിങ്ങൾ കണ്ണാലെ കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

Therefore shall all of you keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that all of you may be strong, and go in and possess the land, where all of you go to possess it;ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ബലപ്പെടുവാനും നിങ്ങൾ കൈവശമാക്കുവാൻ കടന്നുപോകുന്ന ദേശം ചെന്നടക്കുവാനും

And that all of you may prolong your days in the land, which the LORD swore unto your fathers to give unto them and to their seed, a land that flows with milk and honey.യഹോവ നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർക്കും അവരുടെ സന്തതിക്കും കൊടുക്കുമെന്നു അവരോടു സത്യംചെയ്ത ദേശമായി പാലും തേനും ഒഴുകുന്ന ദേശത്തു നിങ്ങൾ ദീർഘായുസ്സോടിരിപ്പാനുമായി ഇന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു ആജ്ഞാപിക്കുന്ന കല്പനകളൊക്കെയും പ്രമാണിച്ചു നടപ്പിൻ.

For the land, where you go in to possess it, is not as the land of Egypt, from whence all of you came out, where you sowed your seed, and watered it with your foot, as a garden of herbs:നീ കൈവശമാക്കുവാൻ ചെല്ലുന്ന ദേശം നീ വിട്ടുപോകുന്ന മിസ്രയീംദേശംപോലെയല്ല; അവിടെ നീ വിത്തു വിതെച്ചിട്ടു പച്ചക്കറിത്തോട്ടംപോലെ നിന്റെ കാലുകൊണ്ടു നനെക്കേണ്ടിവന്നു.

But the land, where all of you go to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinks water of the rain of heaven:നിങ്ങൾ കൈവശമാക്കുവാൻ ചെല്ലുന്ന ദേശമോ മലകളും താഴ്വരകളും ഉള്ളതായി ആകാശത്തുനിന്നു പെയ്യുന്ന മഴവെള്ളം കുടിക്കുന്നതും

A land which the LORD your God cares for: the eyes of the LORD your God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ പരിപാലിക്കുന്നതുമായ ദേശമാകുന്നു. ആണ്ടിന്റെ ആരംഭംമുതൽ അവസാനംവരെ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ ദൃഷ്ടി എപ്പോഴും അതിന്മേൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

And it shall come to pass, if all of you shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ നിങ്ങൾ സ്നേഹിക്കയും പൂർണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടും പൂർണ്ണമനസ്സോടുംകൂടെ അവനെ സേവിക്കയും ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ ഇന്നു നിങ്ങളോടു കല്പിക്കുന്ന എന്റെ കല്പനകൾ ജാഗ്രതയോടെ അനുസരിച്ചാൽ

That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your corn, and your wine, and yours oil.ധാന്യവും വീഞ്ഞും എണ്ണയും ശേഖരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ തക്കസമയത്തു നിങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തിന്നു വേണ്ടുന്ന മുൻമഴയും പിൻമഴയും പെയ്യിക്കും.

And I will send grass in your fields for your cattle, that you may eat and be full.ഞാൻ നിന്റെ നിലത്തു നിന്റെ നാൽക്കാലികൾക്കു പുല്ലും തരും; നീ തൃപ്തിയാകുംവണ്ണം ഭക്ഷിക്കും.

Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and all of you turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിന്നു ഭോഷത്വം പറ്റുകയും നിങ്ങൾ നേർവഴി വിട്ടു അന്യ ദൈവങ്ങളെ സേവിച്ചു നമസ്കരിക്കയും ചെയ്യാതിരിപ്പാൻ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ.

And then the LORD's wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest all of you perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD gives you.അല്ലാഞ്ഞാൽ യഹോവയുടെ ക്രോധം നിങ്ങളുടെ നേരെ ജ്വലിച്ചിട്ടു മഴ പെയ്യാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻ ആകാശത്തെ അടെച്ചുകളകയും ഭൂമി അനുഭവം തരാതിരിക്കയും യഹോവ നിങ്ങൾക്കു തരുന്ന നല്ല ദേശത്തുനിന്നു നിങ്ങൾ വേഗം നശിച്ചുപോകയും ചെയ്യും.

Therefore shall all of you lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ ഈ വചനങ്ങളെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിലും മനസ്സിലും സംഗ്രഹിച്ചു നിങ്ങളുടെ കൈമേൽ അടയാളമായി കെട്ടുകയും അവ നിങ്ങളുടെ കണ്ണുകൾക്കു മദ്ധ്യേ പട്ടമായിരിക്കയും വേണം.

And all of you shall teach them your children, speaking of them when you sit in yours house, and when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.വീട്ടിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോഴും വഴി നടക്കുമ്പോഴും കിടക്കുമ്പോഴും എഴുന്നേല്ക്കുമ്പോഴും നിങ്ങൾ അവയെക്കുറിച്ചു സംസാരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കൾക്കു അവയെ ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊടുക്കേണം.

And you shall write them upon the door posts of yours house, and upon your gates:യഹോവ നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർക്കു കൊടുക്കുമെന്നു അവരോടു സത്യംചെയ്ത ദേശത്തു നിങ്ങളും നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളും ഭൂമിക്കുമീതെ ആകാശമുള്ള കാലത്തോളം ദീർഘായുസ്സോടിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു

That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD swore unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.അവയെ നിന്റെ വീട്ടിന്റെ കട്ടിളകളിൻ മേലും പടിവാതിലുകളിലും എഴുതേണം.

For if all of you shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him;ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു ആജ്ഞാപിക്കുന്ന ഈ സകലകല്പനകളും ജാഗ്രതയോടെ പ്രമാണിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ സ്നേഹിക്കയും അവന്റെ എല്ലാവഴികളിലും നടന്നു അവനോടു ചേർന്നിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താൽ

Then will the LORD drive out all these nations from before you, and all of you shall possess greater nations and mightier than yourselves.യഹോവ ഈ ജാതികളെയെല്ലാം നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയും; നിങ്ങളെക്കാൾ വലിപ്പവും ബലവുമുള്ള ജാതികളുടെ ദേശം നിങ്ങൾ കൈവശമാക്കും.

Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be.നിങ്ങളുടെ ഉള്ളങ്കാൽ ചവിട്ടുന്ന ഇടമൊക്കെയും നിങ്ങൾക്കു ആകും; നിങ്ങളുടെ അതിർ മരുഭൂമിമുതൽ ലെബാനോൻ വരെയും ഫ്രാത്ത് നദിമുതൽ പടിഞ്ഞാറെ കടൽവരെയും ആകും.

There shall no man be able to stand before you: for the LORD your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that all of you shall tread upon, as he has said unto you.ഒരു മനുഷ്യനും നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ നിൽക്കയില്ല; നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിങ്ങളോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുപോലെ അവൻ നിങ്ങളെയുള്ള പേടിയും ഭീതിയും നിങ്ങൾ ചെല്ലുന്ന സകലദിക്കിലും വരുത്തും.

Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;ഇതാ, ഞാൻ ഇന്നു അനുഗ്രഹവും ശാപവും നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ വെക്കുന്നു.

A blessing, if all of you obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day:ഇന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു ആജ്ഞാപിക്കുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനകൾ നിങ്ങൾ അനുസരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അനുഗ്രഹവും

And a curse, if all of you will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which all of you have not known.നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനകൾ അനുസരിക്കാതെ ഇന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു കല്പിക്കുന്ന വഴിയെ വിട്ടുമാറി നിങ്ങൾ അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ലാത്ത അന്യദൈവങ്ങളുടെ പിന്നാലെ ചെല്ലുന്നു എങ്കിൽ ശാപവും വരും.

And it shall come to pass, when the LORD your God has brought you in unto the land where you go to possess it, that you shall put the blessing upon mount Gerizim, and the curse upon mount Ebal.നീ കൈവശമാക്കുവാൻ ചെല്ലുന്ന ദേശത്തു നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിന്നെ കടത്തിയശേഷം ഗെരിസീംമലമേൽവെച്ചു അനുഗ്രഹവും ഏബാൽമലമേൽവെച്ചു ശാപവും പ്രസ്താവിക്കേണം.

Are they not on the other side Jordan, by the way where the sun goes down, in the land of the Canaanites, which dwell in the champaign opposite to Gilgal, beside the plains of Moreh?അവ ഗില്ഗാലിന്നെതിരായി മോരെ തോപ്പിന്നരികെ അരാബയിൽ പാർക്കുന്ന കനാന്യരുടെ ദേശത്തു യോർദ്ദാന്നക്കരെ പടിഞ്ഞാറല്ലോ ഉള്ളതു.

For all of you shall pass over Jordan to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God gives you, and all of you shall possess it, and dwell therein.നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിങ്ങൾക്കു തരുന്ന ദേശം കൈവശമാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങൾ യോർദ്ദാൻ കടന്നുചെന്നു അതിനെ അടക്കി അവിടെ പാർക്കും.

And all of you shall observe to do all the statutes and judgments which I set before you this day.ഞാൻ ഇന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ വെക്കുന്ന എല്ലാചട്ടങ്ങളും വിധികളും നിങ്ങൾ പ്രമാണിച്ചുനടക്കേണം.
