Jeremiah 19

Thus says the LORD, Go and get a potter's earthen bottle, and take of the ancients of the people, and of the ancients of the priests;യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം കല്പിച്ചു: നീ പോയി കുശവനോടു ഒരു മൺകുടം വിലെക്കു വാങ്ങി ജനത്തിന്റെ മൂപ്പന്മാരിലും പുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെ മൂപ്പന്മാരിലും ചിലരെ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു

And go forth unto the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is by the entry of the east gate, and proclaim there the words that I shall tell you,ഹർസീത്ത് (ഓട്ടുനുറുകൂ) വാതിലിന്റെ പുറമെയുള്ള ബെൻ-ഹിന്നോം താഴ്വരയിൽ ചെന്നു, ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്ന വാക്കുകളെ അവിടെ പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു പറയേണ്ടതു:

And say, Hear all of you the word of the LORD, O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem; Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, the which whosoever hears, his ears shall tingle.യെഹൂദാരാജാക്കന്മാരും യെരൂശലേം നിവസികളുമായുള്ളോരേ, യഹോവയുടെ വചനം കേൾപ്പിൻ! യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: കേൾക്കുന്നവന്റെ ചെവി മുഴങ്ങത്തക്കവണ്ണം ഞാൻ ഈ സ്ഥലത്തിന്നു ഒരനർത്ഥം വരുത്തും.

Because they have forsaken me, and have cut off this place, and have burned incense in it unto other gods, whom neither they nor their fathers have known, nor the kings of Judah, and have filled this place with the blood of innocent persons;അവർ എന്നെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു, ഈ സ്ഥലത്തെ വഷളാക്കി, തങ്ങളും തങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരും യെഹൂദാരാജാക്കന്മാരും അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ലാത്ത അന്യദേവന്മാർക്കു അവിടെവെച്ചു ധൂപംകാട്ടി ഈ സ്ഥലത്തെ കുറ്റമില്ലാത്തവരുടെ രക്തംകൊണ്ടു നിറെക്കയും

They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spoke it, neither came it into my mind:ബാലിന്നു ഹോമബലികളായി തങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രന്മാരെ തീയിൽ ഇട്ടു ദഹിപ്പിപ്പാൻ ബാലിന്നു പൂജാഗിരികളെ പണികയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. അതു ഞാൻ കല്പിച്ചിട്ടില്ല, അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല, എന്റെ മനസ്സിൽ വന്നിട്ടുമില്ല.

Therefore, behold, the days come, says the LORD, that this place shall no more be called Tophet, nor The valley of the son of Hinnom, but The valley of slaughter.അതുകൊണ്ടു ഈ സ്ഥലത്തിന്നു ഇനി തോഫെത്ത് എന്നും ബെൻ-ഹിന്നോം താഴ്വര എന്നും പേരുപറയാതെ കുലത്താഴ്വര എന്നു പേരുപറയുന്ന കാലം വരും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

And I will make void the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place; and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hands of them that seek their lives: and their carcasses will I give to be food for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ ഈ സ്ഥലത്തുവെച്ചു യെഹൂദയുടെയും യെരൂശലേമിന്റെയും ആലോചനയെ നിഷ്ഫലമാക്കും; ഞാൻ അവരെ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ വാൾകൊണ്ടും അവർക്കു പ്രാണഹാനി വരുത്തുവാൻ നോക്കുന്നവരുടെ കൈകൊണ്ടും വീഴുമാറാക്കുകയും അവരുടെ ശവങ്ങളെ ആകാശത്തിലെ പക്ഷികൾക്കും കാട്ടിലെ മൃഗങ്ങൾക്കും ഇരയാക്കിക്കൊടുക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

And I will make this city desolate, and an hissing; every one that passes thereby shall be astonished and hiss because of all the plagues thereof.ഞാൻ ഈ നഗരത്തെ സ്തംഭനത്തിന്നും പരിഹാസത്തിന്നും വിഷയമാക്കിത്തീർക്കും; അതിന്നരികെ കടന്നുപോകുന്ന ഏവനും സ്തംഭിച്ചു അതിന്നു നേരിട്ട സകല ബാധകളും നിമിത്തം ചൂളകുത്തും.

And I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters, and they shall eat every one the flesh of his friend in the siege and strictness, wherewith their enemies, and they that seek their lives, shall straiten them.അവരുടെ ശത്രുക്കളും അവർക്കു പ്രാണഹാനി വരുത്തുവാൻ നോക്കുന്നവരും അവരെ ഞെരുക്കുന്ന ഞെരുക്കത്തിലും നിരോധത്തിലും ഞാൻ അവരെ സ്വന്ത പുത്രന്മാരുടെ മാംസവും പുത്രിമാരുടെ മാംസവും തിന്നുമാറാക്കും; ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ മാംസം തിന്നും.

Then shall you break the bottle in the sight of the men that go with you,പിന്നെ നിന്നോടുകൂടെ പോന്ന പുരുഷന്മാർ കാൺകെ നീ ആ മൺകുടും ഉടെച്ചു അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

And shall say unto them, Thus says the LORD of hosts; Even so will I break this people and this city, as one breaks a potter's vessel, that cannot be made whole again: and they shall bury them in Tophet, till there be no place to bury.സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നന്നാക്കിക്കൂടാതവണ്ണം കുശവന്റെ പാത്രം ഉടെച്ചുകളഞ്ഞതുപോലെ ഞാൻ ഈ ജനത്തെയും ഈ നഗരത്തെയും ഉടെച്ചുകളയും. അടക്കം ചെയ്‍വാൻ വേറെ സ്ഥലമില്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു അവരെ തോഫെത്തിൽ അടക്കംചെയ്യും.

Thus will I do unto this place, says the LORD, and to the inhabitants thereof, and even make this city as Tophet:ഇങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ ഈ സ്ഥലത്തോടും അതിലെ നിവാസികളോടും ചെയ്യും; ഞാൻ ഈ നഗരത്തെ തോഫെത്തിന്നു സമമാക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

And the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses of the kings of Judah, shall be defiled as the place of Tophet, because of all the houses upon whose roofs they have burned incense unto all the host of heaven, and have poured out drink offerings unto other gods.മലിനമായിരിക്കുന്ന യെരൂശലേം വീടുകളും യെഹൂദാരാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ അരമനകളും അവർ മേല്പുരകളിൽവെച്ചു ആകാശത്തിലെ സർവ്വസൈന്യത്തിന്നും ധൂപം കാണിക്കയും അന്യദേവന്മാർക്കു പാനീയബലി പകരുകയും ചെയ്ത എല്ലാ വീടുകളും തന്നേ തോഫെത്ത് എന്ന സ്ഥലംപോലെയാകും.

Then came Jeremiah from Tophet, where the LORD had sent him to prophesy; and he stood in the court of the LORD's house; and said to all the people,അനന്തരം യിരെമ്യാവു യഹോവ തന്നെ പ്രവചിപ്പാൻ അയിച്ചിരുന്ന തോഫെത്തിൽനിന്നു വന്നു, യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ പ്രാകാരത്തിൽ നിന്നുകൊണ്ടു സകലജനത്തോടും:

Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon this city and upon all her towns all the evil that I have pronounced against it, because they have hardened their necks, that they might not hear my words.യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: അവർ എന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെ കേൾക്കാതെ ശാഠ്യംപിടിച്ചിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ ഈ നഗരത്തിന്നു വിധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന അനർത്ഥം ഒക്കെയും അതിന്നു അതിന്നടുത്ത എല്ലാപട്ടണങ്ങൾക്കും വരുത്തും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

Jeremiah 20

Now Pashur the son of Immer the priest, who was also chief governor in the house of the LORD, heard that Jeremiah prophesied these things.എന്നാൽ യിരെമ്യാവു ഈ കാര്യങ്ങളെ പ്രവചിക്കുന്നതു ഇമ്മേരിന്റെ മകനും യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്നു പ്രധാനവിചാരകനുമായ

Then Pashur stroke Jeremiah the prophet, and put him in the stocks that were in the high gate of Benjamin, which was by the house of the LORD.പശ്ഹൂർപുരോഹിതൻ കേട്ടിട്ടു യിരെമ്യാപ്രവാചകനെ അടിച്ചു, യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്നരികെയുള്ള മേലത്തെ ബെന്യാമീൻ ഗോപുരത്തിങ്കലെ ആമത്തിൽ ഇട്ടു.

And it came to pass on the next day, that Pashur brought forth Jeremiah out of the stocks. Then said Jeremiah unto him, The LORD has not called your name Pashur, but Magormissabib.പിറ്റെന്നാൾ പശ്ഹൂർ യിരെമ്യാവെ ആമത്തിൽനിന്നു വിട്ടപ്പോൾ യിരെമ്യാവു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: യഹോവ നിനക്കു പശ്ഹൂർ എന്നല്ല, മാഗോർമിസ്സാബീബ് (സർവ്വത്രഭീതി) എന്നത്രേ പേർ വിളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതു.

For thus says the LORD, Behold, I will make you a terror to yourself, and to all your friends: and they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and yours eyes shall behold it: and I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall carry them captive into Babylon, and shall slay them with the sword.യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ നിന്നെ നിനക്കു തന്നെയും നിന്റെ സകലസ്നേഹിതന്മാർക്കും ഭീതിയാക്കിത്തീർക്കും; അവർ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ വാൾകൊണ്ടു വീഴും; നിന്റെ കണ്ണു അതു കാണും; എല്ലായെഹൂദയെയും ഞാൻ ബാബേൽരാജാവിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കും; അവൻ അവരെ പിടിച്ചു ബാബേലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി വാൾകൊണ്ടു കൊന്നുകളയും.

Moreover I will deliver all the strength of this city, and all the labours thereof, and all the precious things thereof, and all the treasures of the kings of Judah will I give into the hand of their enemies, which shall spoil them, and take them, and carry them to Babylon.ഈ നഗരത്തിലെ സകലനിക്ഷേപങ്ങളും അതിലെ സകലസമ്പാദ്യങ്ങളും സകലവിശിഷ്ടവസ്തുക്കളും യെഹൂദാ രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ സകലഭണ്ഡാരങ്ങളും ഞാൻ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കും; അവർ അവയെ കൊള്ളയിട്ടു ബാബേലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടു പോകും.

And you, Pashur, and all that dwell in yours house shall go into captivity: and you shall come to Babylon, and there you shall die, and shall be buried there, you, and all your friends, to whom you have prophesied lies.എന്നാൽ പശ്ഹൂരേ, നീയും നിന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ പാർക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവരും പ്രവാസത്തിലേക്കു പോകേണ്ടിവരും; നീയും നിന്റെ വ്യാജപ്രവചനം കേട്ട നിന്റെ സകല സ്നേഹിതന്മാരും ബാബേലിലേക്കു ചെന്നു അവിടെവെച്ചു മരിക്കയും അവിടെ അടക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യും.

O LORD, you have deceived me, and I was deceived; you are stronger than I, and have prevailed: I am in derision daily, every one mocks me.യഹോവേ, നീ എന്നെ സമ്മതിപ്പിക്കയും ഞാൻ സമ്മതിച്ചുപോകയും ചെയ്തു നീ ബലം പ്രയോഗിച്ചു ജയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ ഇടവിടാതെ പരിഹാസവിഷയമായിരിക്കുന്നു; എല്ലാവരും എന്നെ പരിഹസിക്കുന്നു.

For since I spoke, I cried out, I cried violence and spoil; because the word of the LORD was made a reproach unto me, and a derision, daily.സംസാരിക്കുമ്പോഴൊക്കെയും ഞാൻ നിലവിളിച്ചു സാഹസത്തെയും ബലാൽക്കാരത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു ആവലാധി പറയേണ്ടിവരുന്നു; അങ്ങനെ യഹോവയുടെ വചനം എനിക്കു ഇടവിടാതെ നിന്ദെക്കും പരിഹാസത്തിന്നും ഹേതുവായിരിക്കുന്നു.

Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.ഞാൻ ഇനി അവനെ ഓർക്കുകയില്ല, അവന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ സംസാരിക്കയുമില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാലോ അതു എന്റെ അസ്ഥികളിൽ അടെക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടു എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ തീ കത്തുംപോലെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ സഹിച്ചു തളർന്നു എനിക്കു വഹിയാതെയായി.

For I heard the defaming of many, fear on every side. Report, say they, and we will report it. All my familiars watched for my halting, saying, Possibly he will be enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him.സർവ്വത്രഭീതി; ഞാൻ പലരുടെയും ഏഷണി കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; കുറ്റം ബോധിപ്പിപ്പിൻ; ഞങ്ങളും അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു കുറ്റം ബോധിപ്പിക്കാം; നാം അവനെ തോല്പിച്ചു അവനോടു പക വീട്ടുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം പക്ഷെ അവനെ വശത്താക്കാം എന്നു എന്റെ വീഴ്ചെക്കു കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവരായ എന്റെ ചങ്ങാതിമാരൊക്കെയും പറയുന്നു.

But the LORD is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten.എന്നാൽ യഹോവ ഒരു മഹാവീരനെപ്പോലെ എന്നോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടു; ആകയാൽ എന്നെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്നവർ ഇടറിവീഴും; അവർ ജയിക്കയില്ല; അവർ ബുദ്ധിയോടെ പ്രവർത്തിക്കായ്കയാൽ ഏറ്റവും ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകും; ഒരിക്കലും മറന്നുപോകാത്ത നിത്യലജ്ജയോടെ തന്നേ.

But, O LORD of hosts, that try the righteous, and see the reins and the heart, let me see your vengeance on them: for unto you have I opened my cause.നീതിമാനെ ശോധനചെയ്തു, അന്തരംഗങ്ങളെയും ഹൃദയത്തെയും കാണുന്നവനായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവേ, നീ അവരോടു ചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രതികാരം ഞാൻ കാണുമാറാകട്ടെ; എന്റെ വ്യവഹാരം ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു ബോധിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

Sing unto the LORD, praise all of you the LORD: for he has delivered the soul of the poor from the hand of evildoers.യഹോവെക്കു പാട്ടുപാടുവിൻ! യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പിൻ! അവൻ ദരിദ്രന്റെ പ്രാണനെ ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു വിടുവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

Cursed be the day wherein I was born: let not the day wherein my mother bare me be blessed.ഞാൻ ജനിച്ച ദിവസം ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കട്ടെ; എന്റെ അമ്മ എന്നെ പ്രസവിച്ച ദിവസം അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെടാതിരിക്കട്ടെ.

Cursed be the man who brought tidings to my father, saying, A male child is born unto you; making him very glad.നിനക്കു ഒരു മകൻ ജനിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു എന്റെ അപ്പനോടു അറിയിച്ചു അവനെ ഏറ്റവും സന്തോഷിപ്പിച്ച മനുഷ്യൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ.

And let that man be as the cities which the LORD overthrew, and repented not: and let him hear the cry in the morning, and the shouting at noontide;എന്റെ അമ്മ എന്റെ ശവക്കുഴിയും അവളുടെ ഗർഭപാത്രം എല്ലായ്പോഴും നിറഞ്ഞതും ആയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ആ മനുഷ്യൻ എന്നെ ഉദരത്തിൽവെച്ചു കൊന്നുകളയായ്കകൊണ്ടു അവൻ,

Because he slew me not from the womb; or that my mother might have been my grave, and her womb to be always great with me.യഹോവ അനുതപിക്കാതെ ഉന്മൂലനാശം വരുത്തിയ പട്ടണങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ ആയിത്തീരട്ടെ; രാവിലെ അവൻ നിലവിളിയും ഉച്ചസമയത്തും പോർവ്വിളിയും കേൾക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ.

Wherefore came I forth out of the womb to see labour and sorrow, that my days should be consumed with shame?കഷ്ടവും സങ്കടവും അനുഭവിച്ചു ജീവകാലം ലജ്ജയിൽ കഴിച്ചുകൂട്ടേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ ഉദരത്തൽനിന്നു പുറത്തുവന്നതു എന്തിനു?

Jeremiah 21

The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, when king Zedekiah sent unto him Pashur the son of Melchiah, and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest, saying,സിദെക്കീയാരാജാവു മൽക്കീയാവിന്റെ മകനായ പശ്ഹൂരിനെയും മയസേയാവിന്റെ മകനായ സെഫന്യാപുരോഹിതനെയും യിരെമ്യാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ അയച്ചു:

Enquire, I pray you, of the LORD for us; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon makes war against us; if so be that the LORD will deal with us according to all his wondrous works, that he may go up from us.ബാബേൽരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസർ ഞങ്ങളോടു യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു നീ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു വേണ്ടി യഹോവയോടു അപേക്ഷിക്കേണമേ; അവൻ ഞങ്ങളെ വിട്ടുപോകേണ്ടതിന്നു യഹോവ തന്റെ സകല അത്ഭുതങ്ങൾക്കും ഒത്തവണ്ണം പക്ഷേ ഞങ്ങളോടു പ്രവർത്തിക്കും എന്നു പറയിച്ചപ്പോൾ യിരെമ്യാവിന്നു യഹോവയിങ്കൽനിന്നുണ്ടായ അരുളപ്പാടു.

Then said Jeremiah unto them, Thus shall all of you say to Zedekiah:യിരെമ്യാവു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ: നിങ്ങൾ സിദെക്കീയാവോടു ഇപ്രകാരം പറയേണം:

Thus says the LORD God of Israel; Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands, wherewith all of you fight against the king of Babylon, and against the Chaldeans, which besiege you without the walls, and I will assemble them into the midst of this city.യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: മതിലുകൾക്കു പുറമെ നിങ്ങളെ നിരോധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ബാബേൽരാജാവിനോടും കല്ദയരോടും യുദ്ധംചെയ്‍വാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ കയ്യിൽ പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ആയുധങ്ങളെ ഞാൻ മടക്കിച്ചു ഈ നഗരത്തിന്റെ നടുവിൽ കൂട്ടും.

And I myself will fight against you with an outstretched hand and with a strong arm, even in anger, and in fury, and in great wrath.ഞാൻ തന്നേയും നീട്ടിയ കൈകൊണ്ടും ബലമുള്ള ഭുജംകൊണ്ടും കോപത്തോടും ക്രോധത്തോടും അത്യുഗ്രതയോടുംകൂടെ നിങ്ങളോടു യുദ്ധംചെയ്യും.

And I will strike the inhabitants of this city, both man and beast: they shall die of a great pestilence.ഈ നഗരത്തിൽ വസിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യരെയും മൃഗങ്ങളെയും ഞാൻ സംഹരിക്കും; അവർ മഹാമാരിയാൽ മരിക്കും.

And afterward, says the LORD, I will deliver Zedekiah king of Judah, and his servants, and the people, and such as are left in this city from the pestilence, from the sword, and from the famine, into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of those that seek their life: and he shall strike them with the edge of the sword; he shall not spare them, neither have pity, nor have mercy.അതിന്റെ ശേഷം യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ സിദെക്കീയാവെയും അവന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരെയും ജനത്തെയും ഈ നഗരത്തിൽ മഹാമാരി, വാൾ, ക്ഷാമം എന്നിവെക്കു തെറ്റി ഒഴിഞ്ഞവരെ തന്നേ, ഞാൻ ബാബേൽരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസരിന്റെ കയ്യിലും അവരുടെ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ കയ്യിലും അവർക്കു പ്രാണഹാനി വരുത്തുവാൻ നോക്കുന്നവരുടെ കയ്യിലും ഏല്പിക്കും; അവൻ അവരോടു ക്ഷമയോ കനിവോ കരുണയോ കാണിക്കാതെ, അവരെ വാളിന്റെ വായ്ത്തലകൊണ്ടു സംഹരിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

And unto this people you shall say, Thus says the LORD; Behold, I set before you the way of life, and the way of death.നീ ഈ ജനത്തോടു പറയേണ്ടതു: യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഇതാ, ഞാൻ ജീവന്റെ വഴിയും മരണത്തിന്റെ വഴിയും നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ വെക്കുന്നു.

He that abides in this city shall die by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence: but he that goes out, and falls to the Chaldeans that besiege you, he shall live, and his life shall be unto him for a prey.ഈ നഗരത്തിൽ പാർക്കുന്നവൻ വാൾകൊണ്ടും ക്ഷാമംകൊണ്ടും മഹാമാരികൊണ്ടും മരിക്കും; എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങളെ നിരോധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന കല്ദയരുടെ പക്ഷം ചെന്നുചേരുന്നവനോ ജീവനോടെ ഇരിക്കും; അവന്റെ ജീവൻ അവന്നു കൊള്ള കിട്ടിയതുപോലെ ഇരിക്കും.

For I have set my face against this city for evil, and not for good, says the LORD: it shall be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire.ഞാൻ എന്റെ മുഖം ഈ നഗരത്തിന്നുനോരെ നന്മെക്കല്ല തിന്മെക്കത്രേ വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു. അതിനെ ബാബേൽരാജാവിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കും; അവൻ അതിനെ തീവെച്ചു ചുട്ടുകളയും.

And concerning the house of the king of Judah, say, Hear all of you the word of the LORD;യെഹൂദാരാജഗൃഹത്തോടു നീ പറയേണ്ടതു: യഹോവയുടെ വചനം കേൾപ്പിൻ!

O house of David, thus says the LORD; Execute judgment in the morning, and deliver him that is spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor, lest my fury go out like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.ദാവീദ്ഗൃഹമേ, യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളുടെ ദോഷംനിമിത്തം എന്റെ ക്രോധം തീപോലെ പാളി ആർക്കും കെടുത്തുകൂടാതവണ്ണം കത്താതെയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങൾ ദിവസംതോറും ന്യായം പാലിക്കയും കവർച്ചയായി ഭവിച്ചവനെ പീഡകന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു വിടുവിക്കയും ചെയ്‍വിൻ.

Behold, I am against you, O inhabitant of the valley, and rock of the plain, says the LORD; which say, Who shall come down against us? or who shall enter into our habitations?താഴ്വരയിലും സമഭൂമിയിലെ പാറയിലും പാർക്കയും ആർ ഞങ്ങളുടെ നേരെ വരും? ആർ ഞങ്ങളുടെ പാർപ്പിടങ്ങളിൽ കടക്കും? എന്നു പറകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവരേ, ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

But I will punish you according to the fruit of your doings, says the LORD: and I will kindle a fire in the forest thereof, and it shall devour all things round about it.ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളുടെ ഫലത്തിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം നിങ്ങളെ സന്ദർശിക്കും; ഞാൻ അവളുടെ കാട്ടിന്നു തീ വെക്കും; അതു അവളുടെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള സകലത്തെയും ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.
