Now I Paul myself plead to you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base among you, but being absent am bold toward you:നിങ്ങളുടെ സമക്ഷത്തു താഴ്മയുള്ളവൻ എന്നും അകലത്തിരിക്കെ നിങ്ങളോടു ധൈര്യപ്പെടുന്നവൻ എന്നുമുള്ള പൌലൊസായ ഞാൻ ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ സൌമ്യതയും ശാന്തതയും ഓർപ്പിച്ചു നിങ്ങളെ പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

But I plead to you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.ഞങ്ങൾ ജഡത്തെ അനുസരിച്ചു നടക്കുന്നു എന്നു നിരൂപിക്കുന്ന ചിലരോടു ധീരത കാണിപ്പാൻ ഞാൻ ഭാവിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ വരുമ്പോൾ അങ്ങനെ ഖണ്ഡിതമായ ധൈര്യം കാണിപ്പാൻ ഇടവരരുതു എന്നു അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)ഞങ്ങളുടെ പോരിന്റെ ആയുധങ്ങളോ ജഡികങ്ങൾ അല്ല, കോട്ടകളെ ഇടിപ്പാൻ ദൈവസന്നിധിയിൽ ശക്തിയുള്ളവ തന്നേ.

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;അവയാൽ ഞങ്ങൾ സങ്കല്പങ്ങളും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പരിജ്ഞാനത്തിന്നു വിരോധമായി പൊങ്ങുന്ന എല്ലാ ഉയർച്ചയും ഇടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു, ഏതു വിചാരത്തെയും ക്രിസ്തുവിനോടുള്ള അനുസരണത്തിന്നായിട്ടു പിടിച്ചടക്കി,

And being alert to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.നിങ്ങളുടെ അനുസരണം തികഞ്ഞു വരുമ്പോൾ എല്ലാ അനുസരണക്കേടിന്നും പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്‍വാൻ ഒരുങ്ങിയുമിരിക്കുന്നു. നിങ്ങൾ പുറമെയുള്ളതു നോക്കുന്നു.

Do all of you look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christ's, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ's, even so are we Christ's.താൻ ക്രിസ്തുവിന്നുള്ളവൻ എന്നു ഒരുത്തൻ ഉറച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അവൻ ക്രിസ്തുവിന്നുള്ളവൻ എന്നപോലെ ഞങ്ങളും ക്രിസ്തുവിനുള്ളവർ എന്നു അവൻ പിന്നെയും നിരൂപിക്കട്ടെ.

For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord has given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed:നിങ്ങളെ ഇടിച്ചുകളവാനല്ല പണിവാനത്രേ കർത്താവു ഞങ്ങൾക്കു തന്ന അധികാരത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു ഒന്നു അധികം പ്രശംസിച്ചാലും ഞാൻ ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകയില്ല.

That I may not seem as if I would terrify you by letters.ഞാൻ ലേഖനങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളെ പേടിപ്പിക്കുന്നു എന്നു തോന്നരുതു.

For his letters, say they, are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible.അവന്റെ ലേഖനങ്ങൾ ഘനവും ഊറ്റവും ഉള്ളവ തന്നേ; ശരീരസന്നിധിയോ ബലഹീനവും വാക്കു നിന്ദ്യവുമത്രേ എന്നു ചിലർ പറയുന്നുവല്ലോ.

Let such an one think this, that, such as we are in word by letters when we are absent, such will we be also in deed when we are present.അകലെയിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞങ്ങൾ ലേഖനങ്ങളാൽ വാക്കിൽ എങ്ങനെയുള്ളവരോ അരികത്തിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ പ്രവൃത്തിയിലും അങ്ങനെയുള്ളവർ തന്നേ എന്നു അങ്ങനത്തവൻ നിരൂപിക്കട്ടെ.

For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ ശ്ളാഘിക്കുന്ന ചിലരോടു ഞങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ ചേർത്തൊരുമിപ്പാനോ ഉപമിപ്പാനോ തുനിയുന്നില്ല; അവർ തങ്ങളാൽ തന്നേ തങ്ങളെ അളക്കുകയും തങ്ങളോടു തന്നേ തങ്ങളെ ഉപമിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു തിരിച്ചറിവുള്ളവരല്ല.

But we will not boast of things without our measure, but according to the measure of the rule which God has distributed to us, a measure to reach even unto you.ഞങ്ങളോ അളവില്ലാത്തവണ്ണമല്ല, നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കലോളം എത്തുമാറു ദൈവം ഞങ്ങൾക്കു അളന്നുതന്ന അതിരിന്റെ അളവിന്നു ഒത്തവണ്ണമത്രേ പ്രശംസിക്കുന്നതു.

For we stretch not ourselves beyond our measure, as though we reached not unto you: for we are come as far as to you also in preaching the gospel of Christ:ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കലോളം എത്താതെ അതിർ കടന്നു പോകുന്നു എന്നല്ല; ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ സുവിശേഷം പ്രസംഗിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കലോളം വന്നിട്ടുണ്ടല്ലോ.

Not boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other men's labours; but having hope, when your faith is increased, that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly,ഞങ്ങൾ മറ്റുള്ളവരുടെ പ്രയത്നഫലം കൈവശമാക്കി അളവില്ലാതെ പ്രശംസിക്കുന്നു എന്നുമില്ല. നിങ്ങളുടെ വിശ്വാസം വർദ്ധിച്ചാൽ ഞങ്ങളുടെ അതിരിന്നകത്തു നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ അത്യന്തം വലുതായ ഫലം പ്രാപിപ്പാനും

To preach the gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast in another man's line of things made ready to our hand.മറ്റൊരുത്തന്റെ അതിരിന്നകത്തു സാധിച്ചതിൽ പ്രശംസിക്കാതെ നിങ്ങൾക്കു അപ്പുറത്തുള്ള ദിക്കുകളോളം സുവിശേഷം പ്രസംഗിപ്പാനും ആശിക്കയത്രേ ചെയ്യുന്നു.

But he that glories, let him glory in the Lord.പ്രശംസിക്കുന്നവൻ കർത്താവിൽ പ്രശംസിക്കട്ടെ.

For not he that commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends.തന്നെത്താൻ പുകഴ്ത്തുന്നവനല്ല കർത്താവു പുകഴ്ത്തുന്നവനത്രേ കൊള്ളാകുന്നവൻ.

2 Corinthians 11

Would to God all of you could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me.നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ പക്കൽ അസാരം ബുദ്ധിഹീനത പൊറുത്തുകൊണ്ടാൽ കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു; അതേ, നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ പൊറുത്തുകൊള്ളുന്നുവല്ലോ.

For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ എരിവോടെ എരിയുന്നു; ഞാൻ ക്രിസ്തു എന്ന ഏകപുരുഷന്നു നിങ്ങളെ നിർമ്മലകന്യകയായി ഏല്പിപ്പാൻ വിവാഹനിശ്ചയം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent misled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.എന്നാൽ സർപ്പം ഹവ്വയെ ഉപായത്താൽ ചതിച്ചതുപോലെ നിങ്ങളുടെ മനസ്സു ക്രിസ്തുവിനോടുള്ള ഏകാഗ്രതയും നിർമ്മലതയും വിട്ടു വഷളായിപ്പോകുമോ എന്നു ഞാൻ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നു.

For if he that comes preaches another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if all of you receive another spirit, which all of you have not received, or another gospel, which all of you have not accepted, all of you might well bear with him.ഒരുത്തൻ വന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ പ്രസംഗിക്കാത്ത മറ്റൊരു യേശുവിനെ പ്രസംഗിക്കയോ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ലഭിക്കാത്ത വേറൊരു ആത്മാവെങ്കിലും നിങ്ങൾ കൈക്കൊള്ളാത്ത വേറൊരു സുവിശേഷമെങ്കിലും ലഭിക്കയോ ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ നിങ്ങൾ പൊറുക്കുന്നതു ആശ്ചര്യം.

For I suppose I was not a thing behind the very chiefest apostles.ഞാൻ അതിശ്രേഷ്ഠതയുള്ള അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരെക്കാൾ ഒട്ടും കുറഞ്ഞവനല്ല എന്നു നിരൂപിക്കുന്നു.

But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been thoroughly made manifest among you in all things.ഞാൻ വാക്സാമർത്ഥ്യമില്ലാത്തവൻ എങ്കിലും പരിജ്ഞാനമില്ലാത്തവനല്ല; ഞങ്ങൾ അതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു എല്ലായ്പോഴും എല്ലാവിധത്തിലും വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

Have I committed an offence in abasing myself that all of you might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely?അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സുവിശേഷം നിങ്ങൾക്കു സൌജന്യമായി പ്രസംഗിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങൾ ഉയരേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്നെത്തന്നേ താഴ്ത്തുകയാൽ പാപം ചെയ്തുവോ?

I robbed other churches, taking wages of them, to do you service.നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്‍വാൻ ഞാൻ മറ്റു സഭകളെ കവർന്നു അവരോടു ചെലവിന്നു വാങ്ങി.

And when I was present with you, and wanted, I was chargeable to no man: for that which was lacking to me the brethren which came from Macedonia supplied: and in all things I have kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and so will I keep myself.നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഇരുന്നപ്പോൾ മുട്ടുണ്ടായാറെ ഞാൻ ഒരുത്തനെയും ഭാരപ്പെടുത്തിയില്ല. മക്കെദോന്യയിൽനിന്നു വന്ന സഹോദരന്മാർ അത്രേ എന്റെ മുട്ടു തീർത്തതു. ഞാൻ ഒരുവിധേനയും നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഭാരമായിത്തീരാതവണ്ണം സൂക്ഷിച്ചു, മേലാലും സൂക്ഷിക്കും.

As the truth of Christ is in me, no man shall stop me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia.എന്നിലുള്ള ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ സത്യത്താണ അഖായപ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ ഈ പ്രശംസ എനിക്കു ആരും ഇല്ലാതാക്കുകയില്ല.

Wherefore? because I love you not? God knows.അതു എന്തുകൊണ്ടു? ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ സ്നേഹിക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടോ? ദൈവം അറിയുന്നു.

But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.എന്നെ നിന്ദിപ്പാൻ കാരണം അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവർക്കു കാരണം അറുത്തുകളയേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ ചെയ്യുന്നതു മേലാലും ചെയ്യും; അവർ പ്രശംസിക്കുന്ന കാര്യത്തിൽ ഞങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ അവരെ കാണട്ടെ.

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ളവർ കള്ളയപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാർ, കപടവേലക്കാർ, ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരുടെ വേഷം ധരിക്കുന്നവരത്രേ; അതു ആശ്ചര്യവുമല്ല;

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.സാത്താൻ താനും വെളിച്ചദൂതന്റെ വേഷം ധരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.ആകയാൽ അവന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷക്കാർ നീതിയുടെ ശുശ്രൂഷക്കാരുടെ വേഷം ധരിച്ചാൽ അതിശയമല്ല; അവരുടെ അവസാനം അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾക്കു ഒത്തതായിരിക്കും.

I say again, Let no man think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little.ആരും എന്നെ ബുദ്ധിഹീനൻ എന്നു വിചാരിക്കരുതു എന്നു ഞാൻ പിന്നെയും പറയുന്നു; വിചാരിച്ചാലോ ഞാനും അല്പം പ്രശംസിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ബുദ്ധിഹീനനെപ്പോലെയെങ്കിലും എന്നെ കൈക്കൊൾവിൻ.

That which I speak, I speak it not after the Lord, but as it were foolishly, in this confidence of boasting.ഞാൻ ഈ സംസാരിക്കുന്നതു കർത്താവിന്റെ ഹിതപ്രകാരമല്ല, പ്രശംസിക്കുന്ന ഈ അതിധൈര്യത്തോടെ ബുദ്ധിഹീനനെപ്പോലെ അത്രേ സംസാരിക്കുന്നതു.

Seeing that many glory after the flesh, I will glory also.പലരും ജഡപ്രകാരം പ്രശംസിക്കയാൽ ഞാനും പ്രശംസിക്കും.

For all of you suffer fools gladly, seeing all of you yourselves are wise.നിങ്ങൾ ബുദ്ധിമാന്മാർ ആകയാൽ ബുദ്ധിഹീനരെ സന്തോഷത്തോടെ പൊറുക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

For all of you suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man strike you on the face.നിങ്ങളെ ഒരുവൻ അടിമപ്പെടുത്തിയാലും ഒരുവൻ തിന്നുകളഞ്ഞാലും ഒരുവൻ പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോയാലും ഒരുവൻ അഹംകരിച്ചാലും ഒരുവൻ നിങ്ങളെ മുഖത്തു അടിച്ചാലും നിങ്ങൾ പൊറുക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

I speak as concerning reproach, as though we had been weak. Nevertheless whatever that anyone is bold, (I speak foolishly,) I am bold also.അതിൽ ഞങ്ങൾ ബലഹീനരായിരുന്നു എന്നു ഞാൻ മാനംകെട്ടു പറയുന്നു. എന്നാൽ ആരെങ്കിലും ധൈര്യപ്പെടുന്ന കാര്യത്തിൽ--ഞാൻ ബുദ്ധിഹീനനായി പറയുന്നു--ഞാനും ധൈര്യപ്പെടുന്നു.

Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they Israelites? so am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? so am I.അവർ എബ്രായരോ? ഞാനും അതേ; അവർ യിസ്രായേല്യരോ? ഞാനും അതേ; അവർ അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ സന്തതിയോ? ഞാനും അതേ;

Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths often.ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷക്കാരോ?--ഞാൻ ബുദ്ധിഭ്രമമായി സംസാരിക്കുന്നു--ഞാൻ അധികം; ഞാൻ ഏറ്റവും അധികം അദ്ധ്വാനിച്ചു, അധികം പ്രാവശ്യം തടവിലായി, അനവധി അടി കൊണ്ടു, പലപ്പോഴും പ്രാണഭയത്തിലായി;

Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one.യെഹൂദരാൽ ഞാൻ ഒന്നു കുറയ നാല്പതു അടി അഞ്ചുവട്ടം കൊണ്ടു;

Three times was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, three times I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;മൂന്നുവട്ടം കോലിനാൽ അടികൊണ്ടു; ഒരിക്കൽ കല്ലേറുകൊണ്ടു, മൂന്നുവട്ടം കപ്പൽച്ചേതത്തിൽ അകപ്പെട്ടു, ഒരു രാപ്പകൽ വെള്ളത്തിൽ കഴിച്ചു.

In journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;ഞാൻ പലപ്പോഴും യാത്ര ചെയ്തു; നദികളിലെ ആപത്തു, കള്ളന്മാരാലുള്ള ആപത്തു, സ്വജനത്താലുള്ള ആപത്തു, ജതികളാലുള്ള ആപത്തു, പട്ടണത്തിലെ ആപത്തു, കാട്ടിലെ ആപത്തു, കടലിലെ ആപത്തു, കള്ളസ്സഹോദരന്മാരാലുള്ള ആപത്തു;

In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.അദ്ധ്വാനം, പ്രയാസം, പലവട്ടം ഉറക്കിളപ്പു, പൈദാഹം, പലവട്ടം പട്ടിണി, ശീതം, നഗ്നത

Beside those things that are without, that which comes upon me daily, the care of all the churches.എന്നീ അസാധാരണസംഗതികൾ ഭവിച്ചതു കൂടാതെ എനിക്കു ദിവസേന സർവ്വസഭകളെയും കുറിച്ചുള്ള ചിന്താഭാരം എന്ന തിരക്കും ഉണ്ടു.

Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not?ആർ ബലഹീനനായിട്ടു ഞാൻ ബലഹീനനാകാതെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു? ആർ ഇടറിപ്പോയിട്ടു ഞാൻ അഴലാതിരിക്കുന്നു?

If I must essentially glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities.പ്രശംസിക്കേണമെങ്കിൽ എന്റെ ബലഹീനതസംബന്ധിച്ചു ഞാൻ പ്രശംസിക്കും.

The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knows that I lie not.നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ദൈവവും പിതാവുമായി എന്നേക്കും വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവൻ ഞാൻ ഭോഷ്കല്ല പറയുന്നതു എന്നറിയുന്നു.

In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king kept the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desirous to apprehend me:ദമസ്കൊസിലെ അരേതാരാജാവിന്റെ നാടുവാഴി എന്നെ പിടിപ്പാൻ ഇച്ഛിച്ചു, ദമസ്കപട്ടണത്തെ കാവൽ വെച്ചു കാത്തു.

And through a window in a basket was I let down by the wall, and escaped his hands.എന്നാൽ അവർ എന്നെ മതിലിലുള്ള ഒരു കിളിവാതിൽവഴിയായി ഒരു കൊട്ടയിൽ ഇറക്കിവിട്ടു, അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ അവന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു തെറ്റി ഓടിപ്പോയി.

2 Corinthians 12

It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.പ്രശംസിക്കുന്നതിനാൽ പ്രയോജനമില്ല എങ്കിലും അതു ആവശ്യമായിരിക്കുന്നു. ഞാൻ കർത്താവിന്റെ ദർശനങ്ങളെയും വെളിപ്പാടുകളെയും കുറിച്ചു പറവാൻ പോകുന്നു.

I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knows;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.ക്രിസ്തുവിലുള്ള ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെ ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു: അവൻ പതിന്നാലു സംവത്സരം മുമ്പെ മൂന്നാം സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തോളം എടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു; ശരീരത്തോടെയോ എന്നു ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നില്ല, ശരീരം കൂടാതെയോ എന്നുമറിയുന്നില്ല; ദൈവം അറിയുന്നു.

And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knows;)ആ മനുഷ്യൻ പരദീസയോളം എടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു; ശരീരത്തോടെയോ ശരീരം കൂടാതെയോ എന്നു ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നില്ല; ദൈവം അറിയുന്നു.

How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.മനുഷ്യന്നു ഉച്ചരിപ്പാൻ പാടില്ലാത്തതും പറഞ്ഞുകൂടാത്തതുമായ വാക്കുകളെ അവൻ കേട്ടു എന്നു ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു.

Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities.അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഞാൻ പ്രശംസിക്കും; എന്നെക്കുറിച്ചോ എന്റെ ബലഹീനതകളിൽ അല്ലാതെ ഞാൻ പ്രശംസിക്കയില്ല.

For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he sees me to be, or that he hears of me.ഞാൻ പ്രശംസിപ്പാൻ വിചാരിച്ചാലും മൂഢനാകയില്ല; സത്യമല്ലോ പറയുന്നതു; എങ്കിലും എന്നെ കാണുന്നതിനും എന്റെ വായിൽനിന്നു കേൾക്കുന്നതിനും മീതെ ആരും എന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു നിരൂപിക്കരുതു എന്നുവെച്ചു ഞാൻ അടങ്ങുന്നു.

And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.വെളിപ്പാടുകളുടെ ആധിക്യത്താൽ ഞാൻ അതിയായി നിഗളിച്ചുപോകാതിരിപ്പാൻ എനിക്കു ജഡത്തിൽ ഒരു ശൂലം തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ നിഗളിച്ചുപോകാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്നെ കുത്തുവാൻ സാത്താന്റെ ദൂതനെ തന്നേ.

For this thing I besought the Lord three times, that it might depart from me.അതു എന്നെ വിട്ടു നീങ്ങേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ മൂന്നു വട്ടം കർത്താവിനോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു.

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.അവൻ എന്നോടു: എന്റെ കൃപ നിനക്കുമതി; എന്റെ ശക്തി ബലഹീനതയിൽ തികഞ്ഞുവരുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. ആകയാൽ ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ശക്തി എന്റെമേൽ ആവസിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ അതിസന്തോഷത്തോടെ എന്റെ ബലഹീനതകളിൽ പ്രശംസിക്കും.

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ ക്രിസ്തുവിന്നു വേണ്ടി ബലഹീനത, കയ്യേറ്റം, ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടു, ഉപദ്രവം, ഞെരുക്കം എന്നിവ സഹിപ്പാൻ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നു; ബലഹീനനായിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ തന്നേ ഞാൻ ശക്തനാകുന്നു.

I am become a fool in glorying; all of you have compelled me: for I ought to have been commended of you: for in nothing am I behind the very chiefest apostles, though I be nothing.ഞാൻ മൂഢനായിപ്പോയി; നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ നിർബ്ബന്ധിച്ചു; നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ ശ്ളാഘിക്കേണ്ടതായിരുന്നു; ഞാൻ ഏതുമില്ല എങ്കിലും അതിശ്രേഷ്ഠതയുള്ള അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരിൽ ഒട്ടും കുറഞ്ഞവനല്ല.

Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.അപ്പൊസ്തലന്റെ ലക്ഷണങ്ങൾ പൂർണ്ണ സഹിഷ്ണതയിലും അടയാളങ്ങളാലും അത്ഭുതങ്ങളാലും വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികളാലും നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ വെളിപ്പെട്ടുവന്നുവല്ലോ.

For what is it wherein all of you were inferior to other churches, except it be that I myself was not burdensome to you? forgive me this wrong.ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഭാരമായിത്തീർന്നില്ല എന്നുള്ളതല്ലാതെ ശേഷം സഭകളെക്കാൾ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഏതൊന്നിൽ കുറവു വന്നു? ഈ അന്യായം ക്ഷമിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ.

Behold, the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be burdensome to you: for I seek not your's but you: for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children.ഈ മൂന്നാം പ്രാവശ്യം നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ വരുവാൻ ഞാൻ ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഭാരമായിത്തീരുകയുമില്ല; നിങ്ങൾക്കുള്ളതിനെയല്ല നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ ഞാൻ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നു; മക്കൾ അമ്മയപ്പന്മാർക്കല്ല അമ്മയപ്പന്മാർ മക്കൾക്കായിട്ടല്ലോ ചരതിക്കേണ്ടതു.

And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved.ഞാൻ അതിസന്തോഷത്തോടെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ജീവന്നു വേണ്ടി ചെലവിടുകയും ചെലവായ്പോകയും ചെയ്യും. ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ അധികമായി സ്നേഹിച്ചാൽ നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ അല്പമായി സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നുവോ?

But be it so, I did not burden you: nevertheless, being crafty, I caught you with guile.ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഭാരമായിത്തീർന്നില്ല എങ്കിലും ഉപായിയാകയാൽ കൌശലംകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളെ കൈവശമാക്കി എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ പറയുമായിരിക്കും.

Did I make a gain of you by any of them whom I sent unto you?ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ അയച്ചവരിൽ വല്ലവനെക്കൊണ്ടും നിങ്ങളോടു വല്ലതും വഞ്ചിച്ചെടുത്തുവോ?

I desired Titus, and with him I sent a brother. Did Titus make a gain of you? walked we not in the same spirit? walked we not in the same steps?ഞാൻ തീതൊസിനെ പ്രബോധിപ്പിച്ചു, ആ സഹോദരനെയും കൂടെ അയച്ചിരുന്നു; തീതൊസ് നിങ്ങളോടു വല്ലതും വഞ്ചിച്ചെടുത്തുവോ? ഞങ്ങൾ നടന്നതു അതേ ആത്മാവിൽ അല്ലയോ? അതേ കാൽചുവടുകളിൽ അല്ലയോ?

Again, think all of you that we excuse ourselves unto you? we speak before God in Christ: but we do all things, dearly beloved, for your edifying.ഇത്രനേരം ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളോടു പ്രതിവാദിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾക്കു തോന്നുന്നുവോ? ദൈവത്തിൻ മുമ്പാകെ ക്രിസ്തുവിൽ ആകുന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ സംസാരിക്കുന്നതു; പ്രിയമുള്ളവരേ, സകലവും നിങ്ങളുടെ ആത്മീകവർദ്ധനെക്കായിട്ടത്രേ.

For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as all of you would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults:ഞാൻ വരുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കാത്തവിധത്തിൽ നിങ്ങളെ കാണുകയും നിങ്ങൾ ഇച്ഛിക്കാത്ത വിധത്തിൽ എന്നെ കാണുകയും ചെയ്യുമോ എന്നും പിണക്കം, ഈർഷ്യ, ക്രോധം, ശാഠ്യം, ഏഷണി, കുശുകുശുപ്പു, നിഗളം, കലഹം എന്നിവ ഉണ്ടാകുമോ എന്നും

And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that I shall mourn for many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed.ഞാൻ വീണ്ടും വരുമ്പോൾ എന്റെ ദൈവം എന്നെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ താഴ്ത്തുവാനും പാപംചെയ്തിട്ടു തങ്ങൾ പ്രവർത്തിച്ച അശുദ്ധി, ദുർന്നടപ്പു, ദുഷ്കാമം എന്നിവയെക്കുറിച്ചു മാനസാന്തരപ്പെടാത്ത പലരെയും ചൊല്ലി ഖേദിപ്പാനും സംഗതിവരുമോ എന്നും ഞാൻ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നു.
