And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു:

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which all of you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.നീ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു: എന്റെ ഉത്സവങ്ങൾ, വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗം വിളിച്ചുകൂട്ടേണ്ടുന്ന യഹോവയുടെ ഉത്സവങ്ങൾ ആവിതു:

Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; all of you shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.ആറു ദിവസം വേല ചെയ്യേണം; ഏഴാം ദിവസം വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗം കൂടേണ്ടുന്ന സ്വസ്ഥതെക്കുള്ള ശബ്ബത്ത്. അന്നു ഒരു വേലയും ചെയ്യരുതു; നിങ്ങളുടെ സകലവാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും അതു യഹോവയുടെ ശബ്ബത്ത് ആകുന്നു.

These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which all of you shall proclaim in their seasons.അതതു കാലത്തു വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗം വിളിച്ചുകൂട്ടേണ്ടുന്ന യഹോവയുടെ ഉത്സവങ്ങൾ ആവിതു:

In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD's passover.ഒന്നാംമാസം പതിന്നാലം തിയ്യതി സന്ധ്യാസമയത്തു യഹോവയുടെ പെസഹ.

And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days all of you must eat unleavened bread.ആ മാസം പതിനഞ്ചാം തിയ്യതി യഹോവെക്കു പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പത്തിന്റെ പെരുനാൾ; ഏഴു ദിവസം പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പം തിന്നേണം.

In the first day all of you shall have an holy convocation: all of you shall do no servile work therein.ഒന്നാം ദിവസം നിങ്ങൾക്കു വിശുദ്ധ സഭായോഗം ഉണ്ടാകേണം; സാമാന്യവേല യാതൊന്നും ചെയ്യരുതു.

But all of you shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: all of you shall do no servile work therein.നിങ്ങൾ ഏഴു ദിവസം യഹോവെക്കു ദഹനയാഗം അർപ്പിക്കേണം; ഏഴാം ദിവസം വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗം; അന്നു സാമാന്യവേല യാതൊന്നും ചെയ്യരുതു.

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു:

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When all of you be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then all of you shall bring a sheaf of the first-fruits of your harvest unto the priest:നീ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു തരുന്ന ദേശത്തു നിങ്ങൾ എത്തിയശേഷം അതിലെ വിളവെടുക്കുമ്പോൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ കൊയ്ത്തിലെ ആദ്യത്തെ കറ്റ പുരോഹിതന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.

And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the next day after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.നിങ്ങൾക്കു പ്രസാദം ലഭിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻ ആ കറ്റ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ നീരാജനം ചെയ്യേണം. ശബ്ബത്തിന്റെ പിറ്റെന്നാൾ പുരോഹിതൻ അതു നീരാജനം ചെയ്യേണം.

And all of you shall offer that day when all of you wave the sheaf an he lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering unto the LORD.കറ്റ നീരാജനം ചെയ്യുന്ന ദിവസം നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവെക്കു ഹോമയാഗമായി ഒരു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ള ഊനമില്ലാത്ത ഒരു ആണാട്ടിൻ കുട്ടിയെ അർപ്പിക്കേണം.

And the food offering thereof shall be two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto the LORD for a sweet savour: and the drink offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of an hin.അതിന്റെ ഭോജനയാഗം എണ്ണ ചേർത്ത രണ്ടിടങ്ങഴി നേരിയ മാവു ആയിരിക്കേണം; അതു യഹോവെക്കു സൌരഭ്യവാസനയായുള്ള ദഹനയാഗം; അതിന്റെ പാനീയയാഗം ഒരു നാഴി വീഞ്ഞു ആയിരിക്കേണം.

And all of you shall eat neither bread, nor parched corn, nor green ears, until the very same day that all of you have brought an offering unto your God: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു വഴിപാടു കൊണ്ടുവരുന്ന ദിവസംവരെ നിങ്ങൾ അപ്പമാകട്ടെ മലരാകട്ടെ കതിരാകട്ടെ തിന്നരുതു; നിങ്ങളുടെ സകലവാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും ഇതു തലമുറതലമുറയായി നിങ്ങൾക്കു എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടം ആയിരിക്കേണം.

And all of you shall count unto you from the next day after the sabbath, from the day that all of you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:ശബ്ബത്തിന്റെ പിറ്റെന്നാൾ മുതൽ നിങ്ങൾ നീരാജനത്തിന്റെ കറ്റ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന ദിവസംമുതൽ തന്നേ, എണ്ണി ഏഴു ശബ്ബത്ത് തികയേണം.

Even unto the next day after the seventh sabbath shall all of you number fifty days; and all of you shall offer a new food offering unto the LORD.ഏഴാമത്തെ ശബ്ബത്തിന്റെ പിറ്റെന്നാൾവരെ അമ്പതു ദിവസം എണ്ണി യഹോവെക്കു പുതിയ ധാന്യംകൊണ്ടു ഒരു ഭോജനയാഗം അർപ്പിക്കേണം.

All of you shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals; they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baked with leaven; they are the first-fruits unto the LORD.നീരാജനത്തിന്നു രണ്ടിങ്ങഴി മാവുകൊണ്ടു രണ്ടപ്പം നിങ്ങളുടെ വാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവരേണം; അതു നേരിയ മാവുകൊണ്ടുള്ളതും പുളിപ്പിച്ചു ചുട്ടതും ആയിരിക്കേണം; അതു യഹോവെക്കു ആദ്യവിളവു.

And all of you shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year, and one young bullock, and two rams: they shall be for a burnt offering unto the LORD, with their food offering, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of sweet savour unto the LORD.അപ്പത്തോടു കൂടെ ഒരു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ള ഊനമില്ലാത്ത ഏഴു ചെമ്മരിയാട്ടിൻ കുട്ടിയെയും ഒരു കാളക്കുട്ടിയെയും രണ്ടു മുട്ടാടിനെയും അർപ്പിക്കേണം; അവയും അവയുടെ ഭോജനയാഗവും പാനീയയാഗവും യഹോവെക്കു സൌരഭ്യവാസനയായ ദഹനയാഗമായി യഹോവെക്കു ഹോമയാഗമായിരിക്കേണം.

Then all of you shall sacrifice one kid of the goats for a sin offering, and two lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace offerings.ഒരു കോലാട്ടു കൊറ്റനെ പാപയാഗമായും ഒരു വയസ്സുപ്രായമുള്ള രണ്ടു ആട്ടിൻ കുട്ടിയെ സാമാധാനയാഗമായും അർപ്പിക്കേണം.

And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the first-fruits for a wave offering before the LORD, with the two lambs: they shall be holy to the LORD for the priest.പുരോഹിതൻ അവയെ ആദ്യവിളവിന്റെ അപ്പത്തോടും രണ്ടു ആട്ടിൻ കുട്ടിയോടുംകൂടെ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ നീരാജനം ചെയ്യേണം; അവ പുരോഹിതന്നുവേണ്ടി യഹോവെക്കു വിശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കേണം.

And all of you shall proclaim on the very same day, that it may be an holy convocation unto you: all of you shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.അന്നു തന്നേ നിങ്ങൾ വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗം വിളിച്ചുകൂട്ടേണം; അന്നു സാമാന്യവേല യാതൊന്നും ചെയ്യരുതു; ഇതു നിങ്ങളുടെ സകലവാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും തലമുറതലമുറയായി നിങ്ങൾക്കു എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടം ആയിരിക്കേണം.

And when all of you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not make clean purging of the corners of your field when you reap, neither shall you gather any gleaning of your harvest: you shall leave them unto the poor, and to the stranger: I am the LORD your God.നിങ്ങളുടെ നിലത്തിലെ വിളവു എടുക്കുമ്പോൾ വയലിന്റെ അരികു തീർത്തുകൊയ്യരുതു; കാലാ പെറുക്കുകയുമരുതു; അതു ദരിദ്രന്നും പരദേശിക്കും വിട്ടേക്കേണം; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു:

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall all of you have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.നീ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: ഏഴാം മാസം ഒന്നാം തിയ്യതി നിങ്ങൾക്കു കാഹളധ്വനിയുടെ ജ്ഞാപകവും വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗമുള്ള സ്വസ്ഥദിവസവുമായിരിക്കേണം.

All of you shall do no servile work therein: but all of you shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.അന്നു സാമാന്യവേല യാതൊന്നും ചെയ്യാതെ യഹോവെക്കു ദഹനയാഗം അർപ്പിക്കേണം.

²⁶

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു:

²⁷

Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and all of you shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.ഏഴാം മാസം പത്താം തിയ്യതി പാപപരിഹാരദിവസം ആകുന്നു. അന്നു നിങ്ങൾക്കു വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗം ഉണ്ടാകേണം; നിങ്ങൾ ആത്മതപനം ചെയ്കയും യഹോവെക്കു ദഹനയാഗം അർപ്പിക്കയും വേണം.

²⁸

And all of you shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God.അന്നു നിങ്ങൾ യാതൊരു വേലയും ചെയ്യരുതു; അതു നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു വേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നുള്ള പാപപരിഹാരദിവസം.

²⁹

For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.അന്നു ആത്മതപനം ചെയ്യാത്ത ഏവനെയും അവന്റെ ജനത്തിൽനിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം.

³⁰

And whatsoever soul it be that does any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.അന്നു ആരെങ്കിലും വല്ല വേലയും ചെയ്താൽ അവനെ ഞാൻ അവന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഇടയിൽ നിന്നു നശിപ്പിക്കും.

All of you shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.യാതൊരു വേലയും ചെയ്യരുതു; ഇതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു തലമുറതലമുറയായി നിങ്ങളുടെ സകലവാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടം ആയിരിക്കേണം.

It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and all of you shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall all of you celebrate your sabbath.അതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു സ്വസ്ഥതെക്കുള്ള ശബ്ബത്ത്; അന്നു നിങ്ങൾ ആത്മതപനം ചെയ്യേണം. ആ മാസം ഒമ്പതാം തിയ്യതി വൈകുന്നേരം മുതൽ പിറ്റെന്നാൾ വൈകുന്നേരംവരെ നിങ്ങൾ ശബ്ബത്ത് ആചരിക്കേണം.

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു:

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD.നീ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: ഏഴാം മാസം പതിനഞ്ചാം തിയ്യതി മുതൽ ഏഴു ദിവസം യഹോവെക്കു കൂടാരപ്പെരുനാൾ ആകുന്നു.

³⁵

On the first day shall be an holy convocation: all of you shall do no servile work therein.ഒന്നാം ദിവസത്തിൽ വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗം ഉണ്ടാകേണം; അന്നു സാമാന്യവേല യാതൊന്നും ചെയ്യരുതു.

³⁶

Seven days all of you shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and all of you shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and all of you shall do no servile work therein.ഏഴു ദിവസം യഹോവെക്കു ദഹനയാഗം അർപ്പിക്കേണം; എട്ടാംദിവസം നിങ്ങൾക്കു വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗം ഉണ്ടാകേണം; യഹോവെക്കു ദഹനയാഗവും അർപ്പിക്കേണം; അന്നു അന്ത്യസഭായോഗം; സാമാന്യവേല യാതൊന്നും ചെയ്യരുതു.

³⁷

These are the feasts of the LORD, which all of you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering, and a food offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, every thing upon his day:യഹോവയുടെ ശബ്ബത്തുകളും നിങ്ങളുടെ വഴിപാടുകളും നിങ്ങളുടെ എല്ലാ നേർച്ചകളും നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവെക്കു കൊടുക്കുന്ന സകല സ്വമേധാദാനങ്ങളും കൂടാതെ

³⁸

Beside the sabbaths of the LORD, and beside your gifts, and beside all your vows, and beside all your freewill offerings, which all of you give unto the LORD.അതതു ദിവസത്തിൽ യഹോവെക്കു ദഹനയാഗവും ഹോമയാഗവും ഭോജനയാഗവും പാനീയയാഗവും അർപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗങ്ങൾ വിളിച്ചുകൂട്ടേണ്ടുന്ന യഹോവയുടെ ഉത്സവങ്ങൾ ഇവ തന്നേ.

³⁹

Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when all of you have gathered in the fruit of the land, all of you shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.ഭൂമിയുടെ ഫലം ശേഖരിച്ചശേഷം ഏഴാം മാസം പതിനഞ്ചാം തിയ്യതി യഹോവെക്കു ഏഴുദിവസം ഉത്സവം ആചരിക്കേണം; ആദ്യദിവസം വിശുദ്ധസ്വസ്ഥത; എട്ടാം ദിവസം വിശുദ്ധസ്വസ്ഥത.

And all of you shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and all of you shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days.ആദ്യദിവസം ഭംഗിയുള്ള വൃക്ഷങ്ങളുടെ ഫലവും ഈത്തപ്പനയുടെ കുരുത്തോലയും തഴെച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന വൃക്ഷങ്ങളുടെ കൊമ്പും ആറ്റലരിയും എടുത്തു കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ഏഴു ദിവസം സന്തോഷിക്കേണം.

And all of you shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: all of you shall celebrate it in the seventh month.സംവത്സരംതോറും ഏഴു ദിവസം യഹോവെക്കു ഈ ഉത്സവം ആചരിക്കേണം; ഇതു തലമുറതലമുറയായി നിങ്ങൾക്കു എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടം; ഏഴാം മാസത്തിൽ അതു ആചരിക്കേണം.

All of you shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths:ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്നപ്പോൾ

That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.അവരെ കൂടാരങ്ങളിൽ പാർപ്പിച്ചു എന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ സന്തതികൾ അറിവാൻ നിങ്ങൾ ഏഴു ദിവസം കൂടാരങ്ങളിൽ പാർക്കേണം; യിസ്രായേലിലെ സ്വദേശികൾ ഒക്കെയും കൂടാരങ്ങളിൽ പാർക്കേണം; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of the LORD.അങ്ങനെ മോശെ യഹോവയുടെ ഉത്സവങ്ങളെ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു അറിയിച്ചു.

Leviticus 24

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാൽ:

Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto you pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually.ദീപങ്ങൾ നിത്യം കത്തിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ നിലവിളക്കിന്നു ഇടിച്ചെടുത്ത തെളിവുള്ള ഒലിവെണ്ണ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവരേണമെന്നു അവരോടു കല്പിക്ക.

Without the vail of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the congregation, shall Aaron order it from the evening unto the morning before the LORD continually: it shall be a statute for ever in your generations.സാമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിൽ സാക്ഷ്യത്തിന്റെ തിരശ്ശീലെക്കു പുറത്തു വൈകുന്നേരം മുതൽ രാവിലെവരെ കത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു അഹരോൻ അതു യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിലയിൽ നിത്യം ഒരുക്കിവെക്കേണം; ഇതു തലമുറതലമുറയായി നിങ്ങൾക്കു എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടം ആകുന്നു.

He shall order the lamps upon the pure candlestick before the LORD continually.അവൻ നിത്യവും യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ തങ്കനിലവിളക്കിന്മേൽ ദീപങ്ങൾ ഒരുക്കിവെക്കേണം.

And you shall take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes thereof: two tenth deals shall be in one cake.നീ നേരിയ മാവു എടുത്തു അതുകൊണ്ടു പന്ത്രണ്ടു ദോശ ചുടേണം; ഓരോ ദോശ രണ്ടിടങ്ങഴി മാവുകൊണ്ടു ആയിരിക്കേണം.

And you shall set them in two rows, six on a row, upon the pure table before the LORD.അവയെ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ തങ്കമേശമേൽ രണ്ടു അടുക്കായിട്ടു ഓരോ അടുക്കിൽ ആറാറുവീതം വെക്കേണം.

And you shall put pure frankincense upon each row, that it may be on the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire unto the LORD.ഓരോ അടുക്കിന്മേൽ നിർമ്മലമായ കുന്തുരുക്കം വെക്കേണം; അതു അപത്തിന്മേൽ നിവേദ്യമായി യഹോവെക്കു ദഹനയാഗമായിരിക്കേണം.

Every sabbath he shall set it in order before the LORD continually, being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant.അവൻ അതു നിത്യനിയമമായിട്ടു യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു വാങ്ങി ശബ്ബത്തുതോറും യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ നിരന്തരമായി അടുക്കിവെക്കേണം.

And it shall be Aaron's and his sons'; and they shall eat it in the holy place: for it is most holy unto him of the offerings of the LORD made by fire by a perpetual statute.അതു അഹരോന്നും പുത്രന്മാർക്കും ഉള്ളതായിരിക്കേണം; അവർ അതു ഒരു വിശുദ്ധസ്ഥലത്തു വെച്ചു തിന്നേണം; അതു അവന്നു ശാശ്വതാവകാശമായി യഹോവയുടെ ദഹനയാഗങ്ങളിൽ അതിവിശുദ്ധം ആകുന്നു.

And the son of an Israelites woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel: and this son of the Israelites woman and a man of Israel strove together in the camp;അനന്തരം ഒരു യിസ്രായേല്യ സ്ത്രീയുടെയും ഒരു മിസ്രയീമ്യന്റെയും മകനായ ഒരുത്തൻ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ പുറപ്പെട്ടു; യിസ്രായേല്യസ്ത്രീയുടെ ഈ മകനും ഒരു യിസ്രാല്യേനും തമ്മിൽ പാളയത്തിൽവെച്ചു ശണ്ഠയിട്ടു.

And the Israelites woman's son blasphemed the name of the Lord, and cursed. And they brought him unto Moses: (and his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan:)യിസ്രയേല്യസ്ത്രീയുടെ മകൻ തിരുനാമം ദുഷിച്ചു ശപിച്ചു; അതുകൊണ്ടു അവർ അവനെ മോശെയുടെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടു വന്നു; അവന്റെ അമ്മെക്കു ശെലോമിത്ത് എന്നു പേർ. അവൾ ദാൻ ഗോത്രത്തിൽ ദിബ്രി എന്നൊരുവന്റെ മകളായിരുന്നു.

And they put him in ward, that the mind of the LORD might be showed them.യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു കിട്ടേണ്ടതിന്നു അവർ അവനെ തടവിൽ വെച്ചു.

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,അപ്പോൾ യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു:

Bring forth him that has cursed without the camp; and let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.ശപിച്ചവനെ പാളയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോക; കേട്ടവർ എല്ലാവരും അവന്റെ തലയിൽ കൈവെച്ചശേഷം സഭയൊക്കെയും അവനെ കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞു കൊല്ലേണം.

¹⁵

And you shall speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Whosoever curses his God shall bear his sin.എന്നാൽ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു നി പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: ആരെങ്കിലും തന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ ശപിച്ചാൽ അവൻ തന്റെ പാപം വഹിക്കും.

¹⁶

And he that blasphemes the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemes the name of the Lord, shall be put to death.യഹോവയുടെ നാമം ദുഷിക്കുന്നവൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം; സഭയൊക്കെയും അവനെ കല്ലെറിയേണം; പരദേശിയാകട്ടേ സ്വദേശിയാകട്ടെ തിരുനാമത്തെ ദുഷിക്കുന്നവൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

¹⁷

And he that kills any man shall surely be put to death.മനുഷ്യനെ കൊല്ലുന്നവൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

¹⁸

And he that kills a beast shall make it good; beast for beast.മൃഗത്തെ കൊല്ലുന്നവൻ മൃഗത്തിന്നു പകരം മൃഗത്തെ കൊടുക്കേണം.

¹⁹

And if a man cause a blemish in his neighbour; as he has done, so shall it be done to him;ഒരുത്തൻ കൂട്ടുകാരന്നു കേടു വരുത്തിയാൽ അവൻ ചെയ്തതുപോലെ തന്നേ അവനോടു ചെയ്യേണം.

Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he has caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him again.ഒടിവിന്നു പകരം ഒടിവു, കണ്ണിന്നു പകരം കണ്ണു, പല്ലിന്നു പകരം പല്ലു; ഇങ്ങനെ അവൻ മറ്റേവന്നു കേടുവരുത്തിയതുപോലെ തന്നേ അവന്നും വരുത്തേണം.

And he that kills a beast, he shall restore it: and he that kills a man, he shall be put to death.മൃഗത്തെ കൊല്ലുന്നവൻ അതിന്നു പകരം കൊടുക്കേണം; മനുഷ്യനെ കൊല്ലുന്നവൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

All of you shall have one manner of law, as well for the stranger, as for one of your own country: for I am the LORD your God.നിങ്ങൾക്കു പരദേശിക്കും സ്വദേശിക്കും ഒരു പ്രമാണം തന്നേ ആയിരിക്കേണം; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

And Moses spoke to the children of Israel, that they should bring forth him that had cursed out of the camp, and stone him with stones. And the children of Israel did as the LORD commanded Moses.ദുഷിച്ചവനെ പാളയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തുകൊണ്ടുപൊയി കല്ലെറിയേണമെന്നു മോശെ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു പറഞ്ഞു. യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു പോലെ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ ചെയ്തു.

Leviticus 25

And the LORD spoke unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying,യഹോവ സീനായിപർവ്വതത്തിൽവെച്ചു മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതതു: ശബ്ബത്തു ആചരിക്കേണം.

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When all of you come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the LORD.നീ യിസ്രായേല്‍മക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു തരുന്ന ദേശത്തു നിങ്ങൾ എത്തിയശേഷം ദേശം യഹോവെക്കു ശബ്ബത്തു ആചരിക്കേണം.

Six years you shall sow your field, and six years you shall prune your vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof;ആറു സംവത്സരം നിന്റെ നിലം വിതെക്കേണം; അവ്വണ്ണം ആറു സംവത്സരം നിന്റെ മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടം വള്ളിത്തല മുറിച്ചു അനുഭവം എടുക്കേണം.

But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the LORD: you shall neither sow your field, nor prune your vineyard.ഏഴാം സംവത്സരത്തിലോ ദേശത്തിന്നു സ്വസ്ഥതയുള്ള ശബ്ബത്തായ യഹോവയുടെ ശബ്ബത്ത് ആയിരിക്കേണം; നിന്റെ നിലം വിതെക്കയും മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടം വള്ളിത്തല മുറിക്കയും ചെയ്യരുതു.

That which grows of its own accord of your harvest you shall not reap, neither gather the grapes of your vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land.നിന്റെ കൊയ്ത്തിന്റെ പടുവിളവു കൊയ്യുകയും വള്ളിത്തല മുറിക്കാത്ത മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടത്തിലെ പഴം പറിക്കയും അരുതു; അതു ദേശത്തിന്നു ശബ്ബത്താണ്ടു ആകുന്നു.

And the sabbath of the land shall be food for you; for you, and for your servant, and for your maid, and for your hired servant, and for your stranger that sojourns with you.ദേശത്തിന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തിൽ താനേ വിളയുന്നതു നിങ്ങളുടെ ആഹാരമായിരിക്കേണം; നിനക്കും നിന്റെ ദാസന്നും ദാസിക്കും കൂലിക്കാരന്നും നിന്നോടുകൂടെ പാർക്കുന്ന പരദേശിക്കും

And for your cattle, and for the beast that are in your land, shall all the increase thereof be food.നിന്റെ കന്നുകാലിക്കും കാട്ടുമൃഗത്തിന്നും അതിന്റെ അനുഭവം ഒക്കെയും ആഹാരമായിരിക്കേണം.

And you shall number seven sabbaths of years unto you, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto you forty and nine years.പിന്നെ ഏഴു ശബ്ബത്താണ്ടായ ഏഴേഴുസംവത്സരം എണ്ണേണം; അങ്ങനെ ഏഴു സബ്ബത്താണ്ടായ നാല്പത്തൊമ്പതു സംവത്സരം കഴിയേണം.

Then shall you cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall all of you make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.അപ്പോൾ ഏഴാം മാസം പത്താം തിയ്യതി മഹാധ്വനികാഹളം ധ്വനിപ്പിക്കേണം; പാപപരിഹാരദിവസത്തിൽ നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തു എല്ലാടവും കാഹളം ധ്വനിപ്പിക്കേണം.

And all of you shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and all of you shall return every man unto his possession, and all of you shall return every man unto his family.അമ്പതാം സംവത്സരത്തെ ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചു ദേശത്തെല്ലാടവും സകലനിവാസികൾക്കും സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം പ്രസിദ്ധമാക്കേണം; അതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു യോബേൽസംവത്സരമായിരിക്കേണം: നിങ്ങൾ താന്താന്റെ അവകാശത്തിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോകേണം; ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ കുടുംബത്തിലേക്കും മടങ്ങിപ്പോകേണം.

A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: all of you shall not sow, neither reap that which grows of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of your vine undressed.അമ്പതാം സംവത്സരം നിങ്ങൾക്കു യോബേൽ സംവത്സരമായിരിക്കേണം; അതിൽ നിങ്ങൾ വിതെക്കയോ പടുവിളവു കൊയ്കയോ വള്ളിത്തല മുറിക്കാത്ത മുന്തിരിവള്ളിയുടെ പഴം പറിക്കയോ ചെയ്യരുതു.

For it is the jubile; it shall be holy unto you: all of you shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.അതു യോബേൽസംവത്സരം ആകുന്നു; അതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു വിശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കേണം; ആയാണ്ടത്തെ അനുഭവം നിങ്ങൾ വയലിൽ നിന്നുതന്നേ എടുത്തു തിന്നേണം.

In the year of this jubile all of you shall return every man unto his possession.ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ള യോബേൽ സംവത്സരത്തിൽ നിങ്ങൾ താന്താന്റെ അവകാശത്തിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോകേണം.

¹⁴

And if you sell ought unto your neighbour, or buy ought of your neighbour's hand, all of you shall not oppress one another:കൂട്ടുകാരന്നു എന്തെങ്കിലും വിൽക്കയോ കൂട്ടുകാരനോടു എന്തെങ്കിലും വാങ്ങുകയോ ചെയ്താൽ നിങ്ങൾ തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ അന്യായം ചെയ്യരുതു.

According to the number of years after the jubile you shall buy of your neighbour, and according unto the number of years of the fruits he shall sell unto you:യോബേൽസംവത്സരത്തിന്റെ പിമ്പുള്ള സംവത്സരങ്ങളുടെ സംഖ്യക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം നിന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരനോടു വാങ്ങേണം; അനുഭവമുള്ള സംവത്സരങ്ങളുടെ സംഖ്യെക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം അവൻ നിനക്കു വിൽക്കേണം.

According to the multitude of years you shall increase the price thereof, and according to the fewness of years you shall diminish the price of it: for according to the number of the years of the fruits does he sell unto you.സംവത്സരങ്ങൾ ഏറിയിരുന്നാൽ വില ഉയർത്തേണം; സംവത്സരങ്ങൾ കുറഞ്ഞിരുന്നാൽ വില താഴ്ത്തേണം; അനുഭവത്തിന്റെ കാലസംഖ്യെക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം അവൻ നിനക്കു വില്ക്കുന്നു.

All of you shall not therefore oppress one another; but you shall fear your God:for I am the LORD your God.ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ അന്യായം ചെയ്യരുതു; നിന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടേണം: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

¹⁸

Wherefore all of you shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and all of you shall dwell in the land in safety.അതു കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ കല്പനകൾ അനുസരിച്ചു എന്റെ വിധികൾ പ്രമാണിച്ചു ആചരിക്കേണം; എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ദേശത്തു നിർഭയം വസിക്കും.

And the land shall yield her fruit, and all of you shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety.ഭൂമി അതിന്റെ ഫലം തരും; നിങ്ങൾ തൃപ്തിയായി ഭക്ഷിച്ചു അതിൽ നിർഭയം വസിക്കും.

And if all of you shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase:എന്നാൽ ഏഴാം സംവത്സരത്തിൽ ഞങ്ങൾ എന്തു ഭക്ഷിക്കും? ഞങ്ങൾ വിതെക്കയും ഞങ്ങളുടെ അനുഭവമെടുക്കയും ചെയ്യരുതല്ലോ എന്നു നിങ്ങള പറയുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ

Then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.ഞാൻ ആറാം സംവത്സരത്തിൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു എന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹം അരുളുകയും അതു മൂന്നു സംവത്സരത്തേക്കുള്ള അനുഭവം തരികയും ചെയ്യും.

And all of you shall sow the eighth year, and eat yet of old fruit until the ninth year; until her fruits come in all of you shall eat of the old store.എട്ടാം സംവത്സരത്തില്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ വിതെക്കയും ഒമ്പതാം സംവത്സരംവരെ പഴയ അനുഭവംകൊണ്ടു ഉപജീവിക്കുയും വേണം; അതിന്റെ അനുഭവം വരുംവരെ പഴയതുകൊണ്ടു ഉപജീവിച്ചുകൊള്ളേണം.

The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine, for all of you are strangers and sojourners with me.നിലം ജന്മം വിൽക്കരുതു; ദേശം എനിക്കുള്ളതു ആകുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പരദേശികളും വന്നു പാർക്കുന്നവരും അത്രേ.

²⁴

And in all the land of your possession all of you shall grant a redemption for the land.നിങ്ങളുടെ അവകാശമായ ദേശത്തൊക്കെയും നിലത്തിന്നു വീണ്ടെടുപ്പു സമ്മതിക്കേണം.

²⁵

If your brother be becoming poor, and has sold away some of his possession, and if any of his kin come to redeem it, then shall he redeem that which his brother sold.നിന്റെ സഹോദരൻ ദിരദ്രനായ്തീർന്നു തന്റെ അവകാശത്തിൽ ഏതാനും വിറ്റാൽ അവന്റെ അടുത്ത ചാർച്ചക്കാരൻ വന്നു സഹോദരൻ വിറ്റതു വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളേണം.

²⁶

And if the man have none to redeem it, and himself be able to redeem it;എന്നാൽ വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളുവാൻ അവന്നു ആരും ഇല്ലാതിരിക്കയും താൻ തന്നേ വകയുള്ളവനായി വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളുവാൻ പ്രാപ്തനാകയും ചെയ്താൽ

Then let him count the years of the sale thereof, and restore the surplus unto the man to whom he sold it; that he may return unto his possession.അവൻ അതു വിറ്റശേഷമുള്ള സംവത്സരം കണക്കുകൂട്ടി മിച്ചമുള്ളതു അതു വാങ്ങിയിരുന്ന ആൾക്കു മടക്കിക്കൊടുത്തു തന്റെ അവകാശത്തിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിവരേണം.

But if he be not able to restore it to him, then that which is sold shall remain in the hand of him that has bought it until the year of jubile: and in the jubile it shall go out, and he shall return unto his possession.എന്നാൽ മടക്കിക്കൊടുപ്പാൻ അവന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയില്ല എങ്കിൽ വിറ്റുപോയ യോബേൽ സംവത്സരംവരെ വാങ്ങിയവന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഇരിക്കേണം; യോബേൽസംവത്സരത്തിൽ അതു ഒഴിഞ്ഞുകൊടുക്കയും അവൻ തന്റെ അവകാശത്തിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിവരികയും വേണം.

And if a man sell a dwelling house in a walled city, then he may redeem it within a whole year after it is sold; within a full year may he redeem it.ഒരുത്തൻ മതിലുള്ള പട്ടണത്തിൽ ഒരു വീടു വിറ്റാൽ വിറ്റശേഷം ഒരു സംവത്സരത്തിന്നകം അവന്നു അതു വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളാം; വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളുവാൻ ഒരു സംവത്സരത്തെ അവധി ഉണ്ടു.

³⁰

And if it be not redeemed within the space of a full year, then the house that is in the walled city shall be established for ever to him that bought it throughout his generations: it shall not go out in the jubile.ഒരു സംവത്സരം മുഴുവനും തികയുവോളം വീണ്ടുകൊണ്ടില്ലെങ്കിൽ മതിലുള്ള പട്ടണത്തിലെ വീടു, വാങ്ങിയവന്നു തലമുറതലമുറയായി എന്നും സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കേണം; യോബേൽസംവത്സരത്തിൽ അതു ഒ ഴുഞ്ഞുകൊടുക്കേണ്ടാ.

But the houses of the villages which have no wall round about them shall be counted as the fields of the country: they may be redeemed, and they shall go out in the jubile.മതിലില്ലാത്ത ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിലെ വീടുകളോ ദേശത്തുള്ള നിലത്തിന്നു സമമായി വിചാരിക്കേണം; അവെക്കു വീണ്ടെടുപ്പു ഉണ്ടു; യോബേൽസംവത്സരത്തിൽ അവയെ ഒഴിഞ്ഞുകൊടുക്കേണം.

Notwithstanding the cities of the Levites, and the houses of the cities of their possession, may the Levites redeem at any time.എന്നാൽ ലേവ്യരുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങളും അവരുടെ അവകാശമായ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലെ വീടുകളും ലേവ്യർക്കു എപ്പോഴെങ്കിലും വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളാം.

And if a man purchase of the Levites, then the house that was sold, and the city of his possession, shall go out in the year of jubile: for the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession among the children of Israel.ലേവ്യരിൽ ഒരുത്തൻ വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളുന്നു എങ്കിൽ വിറ്റുപോയ വീടും അവന്റെ അവകാശമായ പട്ടണവും യോബേൽസംവത്സരത്തിൽ ഒഴിഞ്ഞുകൊടുക്കേണം; ലേവ്യരുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലെ വീടുകൾ യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളുടെ ഇടയിൽ അവർക്കുള്ള അവകാശമല്ലോ.

³⁴

But the field of the suburbs of their cities may not be sold; for it is their perpetual possession.എന്നാൽ അവരുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങളോടു ചേർന്നിരിക്കുന്ന പുല്പുറമായ ഭൂമി വിൽക്കരുതു; അതു അവർക്കു ശാശ്വതാവകാശം ആകുന്നു.

³⁵

And if your brother be becoming poor, and fallen in decay with you; then you shall relieve him: yea, though he be a stranger, or a sojourner; that he may live with you.നിന്റെ സഹോദരൻ ദരിദ്രനായ്തീർന്നു നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വെച്ചു ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോയാൽ നീ അവനെ താങ്ങേണം; അന്യനും പരദേശിയും എന്നപോലെ അവൻ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പാർക്കേണം.

³⁶

Take you no interest of him, or increase: but fear your God; that your brother may live with you.അവനോടു പലിശയും ലാഭവും വാങ്ങരുതു; നിന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടേണം; നിന്റെ സഹോദരൻ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പാർക്കേണം.

³⁷

You shall not give him your money upon interest, nor lend him your victuals for increase.നിന്റെ പണം പലിശെക്കു കൊടുക്കരുതു; നിന്റെ ആഹാരം അവന്നു ലാഭത്തിന്നായി കൊടുക്കയും അരുതു.

³⁸

I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God.ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു കനാൻ ദേശം തരുവാനും നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായിരിപ്പാനും നിങ്ങളെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

³⁹

And if your brother that dwells by you be becoming poor, and be sold unto you; you shall not compel him to serve as a bondservant:നിന്റെ സഹോദരൻ ദരിദ്രനായ്തീർന്നു തന്നെത്താൻ നിനക്കു വിറ്റാൽ അവനെ കൊണ്ടു അടിമവേല ചെയ്യിക്കരുതു.

⁴⁰

But as an hired servant, and as a sojourner, he shall be with you, and shall serve you unto the year of jubile.കൂലിക്കാരൻ എന്നപോലെയും വന്നുപാർക്കുന്നവൻ എന്നപോലെയും അവൻ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ഇരുന്നു യോബേൽസംവത്സരംവരെ നിന്നെ സേവിക്കേണം.

And then shall he depart from you, both he and his children with him, and shall return unto his own family, and unto the possession of his fathers shall he return.പിന്നെ അവൻ തന്റെ മക്കളുമായി നിന്നെ വിട്ടുതന്റെ കുടുംബത്തിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോകേണം; തന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ അവകാശത്തിലേക്കു അവൻ മടങ്ങിപ്പോകേണം.

For they are my servants, which I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: they shall not be sold as bondmen.അവർ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു ഞാൻ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന എന്റെ ദാസന്മാർ ആകകൊണ്ടു അവരെ അടിമകളായി വിൽക്കരുതു.

You shall not rule over him with rigour; but shall fear your God.അവനോടു കാഠിന്യം പ്രവർത്തിക്കരുതു; നിന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടേണം.

Both your bondmen, and your bondmaids, which you shall have, shall be of the heathen that are round about you; of them shall all of you buy bondmen and bondmaids.നിന്റെ അടിയാരും അടിയാട്ടികളും നിങ്ങൾക്കു ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ജാതികളിൽനിന്നു ആയിരിക്കേണം; അവരിൽനിന്നു അടിയാരെയും അടയാട്ടികളെയും കൊള്ളേണം.

Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall all of you buy, and of their families that are with you, which they brings forth in your land: and they shall be your possession.അവ്വണ്ണം നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ വന്നു പാർക്കുന്ന അന്യജാതിക്കാരുടെ മക്കളിൽനിന്നും അവർ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തു ജനിപ്പിച്ചവരും നിങ്ങളോടു കൂടെ ഇരിക്കുന്നവനുമായ അവരുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും നിങ്ങൾ വാങ്ങേണം; അവർ നിങ്ങൾക്കു അവകാശമായിരിക്കേണം;

And all of you shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen for ever: but over your brethren the children of Israel, all of you shall not rule one over another with rigour.നിങ്ങളുടെ ശേഷം നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കൾക്കും അവകാശമായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിലങ്ങൾ അവരെ അവകാശമാക്കിക്കൊള്ളേണം; അവർ എന്നും നിങ്ങൾക്കു അടിമകളായിരിക്കേണം; യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളായ നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരോടോ നിങ്ങൾ കാഠിന്യം പ്രവർത്തിക്കരുതു.

And if a sojourner or stranger wax rich by you, and your brother that dwells by him wax poor, and sell himself unto the stranger or sojourner by you, or to the stock of the stranger's family:നിന്നോടുകൂടെയുള്ള പരദേശിയോ അന്യനോ സമ്പന്നനാകയും അവന്റെ അടുക്കലുള്ള നിന്റെ സഹോദരൻ ദരിദ്രനായ്തീർന്നു തന്നെത്താൻ അന്യന്നോ പരദേശിക്കോ അന്യന്റെ സന്തതിക്കോ വിൽക്കയും ചെയ്താൽ

After that he is sold he may be redeemed again; one of his brethren may redeem him:അവൻ തന്നെത്താൻ വിറ്റശേഷം അവനെ വീണ്ടെടുക്കാം; അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരിൽ ഒരുത്തന്നു അവനെ വീണ്ടെടുക്കാം.

Either his uncle, or his uncle's son, may redeem him, or any that is nigh of kin unto him of his family may redeem him; or if he be able, he may redeem himself.അവന്റെ പിതൃവ്യന്നോ പിതൃവ്യന്റെ പുത്രന്നോ അവനെ വീണ്ടെടുക്കാം; അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അവന്റെ കുടുംബത്തിൽ അവന്റെ അടുത്ത ചാർച്ചക്കാരിൽ ഒരുത്തന്നു അവനെ വീണ്ടെടുക്കാം; അവന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ തന്നെത്താൻ വീണ്ടെടുക്കാം.

And he shall reckon with him that bought him from the year that he was sold to him unto the year of jubile: and the price of his sale shall be according unto the number of years, according to the time of an hired servant shall it be with him.അവൻ തന്നെ വിറ്റ സംവത്സരം മുതൽ യോബേൽസംവത്സരംവരെയുള്ള കാലക്കണക്കു തന്നെ വാങ്ങിയവനുമായി കൂട്ടിനോക്കേണം; അവന്റെ വില സംവത്സരസംഖ്യെക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം ആയിരിക്കേണം; അവൻ ഒരു കൂലിക്കാരന്റെ കാലത്തിന്നു ഒത്തവണ്ണം അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പാർക്കേണം.

If there be yet many years behind, according unto them he shall give again the price of his redemption out of the money that he was bought for.സംവത്സരം ഏറെയുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ അതിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം അവൻ തന്റെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പുവില തനിക്കു കിട്ടിയ പണത്തിൽനിന്നു മടക്കിക്കൊടുക്കേണം.

And if there remain but few years unto the year of jubile, then he shall count with him, and according unto his years shall he give him again the price of his redemption.യോബേൽസംവത്സരംവരെ ശേഷിക്കുന്ന സംവത്സരം കുറെ മാത്രം എങ്കിൽ അവനുമായി കണക്കുകൂട്ടി സംവത്സരങ്ങൾക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം തന്റെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പുവില മടക്കിക്കൊടുക്കേണം.

And as a yearly hired servant shall he be with him: and the other shall not rule with rigour over him in your sight.അവൻ ആണ്ടോടാണ്ടു കൂലിക്കാരൻ എന്നപോലെ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ഇരിക്കേണം; നീ കാൺകെ അവൻ അവനോടു കാഠിന്യം പ്രവർത്തിക്കരുതു.

And if he be not redeemed in these years, then he shall go out in the year of jubile, both he, and his children with him.ഇങ്ങനെ അവൻ വീണ്ടെടുക്കപ്പെടാതെയിരുന്നാൽ അവനും അവനോടു കൂടെ അവന്റെ മക്കളും യോബേൽ സംവത്സരത്തിൽ പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോകേണം.

For unto me the children of Israel are servants; they are my servants whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ എനിക്കു ദാസന്മാർ ആകുന്നു; അവർ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു ഞാൻ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന എന്റെ ദാസന്മാർ; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

Leviticus 26

All of you shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall all of you set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ ഉണ്ടാക്കരുതു; ബിംബമോ സ്തംഭമോ നാട്ടരുതു; രൂപം കൊത്തിയ യാതൊരു കല്ലും നമസ്കരിപ്പാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തു നാട്ടുകയും അരുതു; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.ഞാൻ തക്കസമയത്തു നിങ്ങൾക്കു മഴതരും; ഭൂമി വിളവു തരും; ഭൂമിയിലുള്ള വൃക്ഷവും ഫലം തരും.

And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and all of you shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.നിങ്ങളുടെ മെതി മുന്തിരിപ്പഴം പറിക്കുന്നതുവരെ നില്ക്കും; മുന്തിരിപ്പഴം പറിക്കുന്നതു വിതകാലംവരെയും നില്ക്കും; നിങ്ങൾ തൃപ്തരായി അഹോവൃത്തികഴിച്ചു ദേശത്തു നിർഭയം വസിക്കും.

And I will give peace in the land, and all of you shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.ഞാൻ ദേശത്തു സമാധാനം തരും; നിങ്ങൾ കിടക്കും; ആരും നിങ്ങളെ ഭയപ്പെടുത്തുകയില്ല; ഞാൻ ദേശത്തുനിന്നു ദുഷ്ടമൃഗങ്ങളെ നീക്കിക്കളയും; വാൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തുകൂടി കടക്കയുമില്ല.

And all of you shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the new.നിങ്ങൾ പഴയ ധാന്യം ഭക്ഷിക്കയും പുതിയതിന്റെ നിമിത്തം പഴയതു പുറത്തു ഇറക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.

And I set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not detest you.ഞാൻ എന്റെ നിവാസം നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ആക്കും; എന്റെ ഉള്ളം നിങ്ങളെ വെറുക്കയില്ല.

And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and all of you shall be my people.ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ സഞ്ചരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ദൈവവും നിങ്ങൾ എനിക്കു ജനവും ആയിരിക്കും.

But if all of you will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments;എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കാതെയും ഈ കൽപനകളൊക്കെയും പ്രമാണിക്കാതെയും എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങൾ ധിക്കരിച്ചു

And if all of you shall despise my statutes, or if your soul detest my judgments, so that all of you will not do all my commandments, but that all of you break my covenant:നിങ്ങളുടെ ഉള്ളം എന്റെ വിധികളെ വെറുത്തു നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ കല്പനകളൊക്കെയും പ്രമാണിക്കാതെ എന്റെ നിയമം ലംഘിച്ചാൽ ഞാനും ഇങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങളേൂടു ചെയ്യും:

I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and all of you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.കണ്ണിനെ മങ്ങിക്കുന്നതും ജീവനെ ക്ഷയിപ്പിക്കുന്നതുമായ ഭീതി, ക്ഷയരോഗം, ജ്വരം എന്നിവ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ മേൽ വരുത്തും; നിങ്ങളുടെ വിത്തു നിങ്ങൾ വെറുതെ വിതെക്കും; ശത്രുക്കൾ അതു ഭക്ഷിക്കും.

And I will set my face against you, and all of you shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and all of you shall flee when none pursues you.ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ നേരെ ദൃഷ്ടിവെക്കും; നിങ്ങൾ ശത്രുക്കളോടു തോറ്റുപോകും; നിങ്ങളെ ദ്വേഷിക്കുന്നവർ നിങ്ങളെ ഭരിക്കും; ഓടിക്കുന്നവർ ഇല്ലാതെ നിങ്ങൾ ഓടും.

And if all of you will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.ഇതെല്ലം ആയിട്ടും നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കാതിരുന്നാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങൾനിമിത്തം ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ഏഴുമടങ്ങു ശിക്ഷിക്കും.

And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ബലത്തിന്റെ പ്രതാപം കൊടുക്കും; നിങ്ങളുടെ ആകാശത്തെ ഇരിമ്പു പോലെയും ഭൂമിയെ ചെമ്പുപോലെയും ആക്കും.

And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.നിങ്ങളുടെ ശക്തി വെറുതെ ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകും; നിങ്ങളുടെ ദേശം വിളവു തരാതെയും ദേശത്തിലെ വൃക്ഷം ഫലം കായ്ക്കാതെയും ഇരിക്കും.

And if all of you walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.നിങ്ങൾ എനിക്കു വിരോധമായി നടന്നു എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കാതിരുന്നാൽ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങൾക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം ഏഴു മടങ്ങു ബാധ നിങ്ങളുടെമേൽ വരുത്തും.

I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your high ways shall be desolate.ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ കാട്ടു മൃഗങ്ങളെ അയക്കും; അവ നിങ്ങളെ മക്കളില്ലാത്തവരാക്കുകയും നിങ്ങളുടെ കന്നുകാലികളെ നശിപ്പിക്കയും നിങ്ങളെ എണ്ണത്തിൽ കുറെക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും; നിങ്ങളുടെ വഴികൾ പാഴായി കിടക്കും.

And if all of you will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me;ഇവയാലും നിങ്ങൾക്കു ബോധംവരാതെ നിങ്ങൾ എനിക്കു വിരോധമായി നടന്നാൽ

Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.ഞാനും നിങ്ങൾക്കു വിരോധമായി നടന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങൾ നിമിത്തം ഏഴുമടങ്ങു നിങ്ങളെ ദണ്ഡിപ്പിക്കും.

And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when all of you are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and all of you shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.എന്റെ നിയമത്തിന്റെ പ്രതികാരം നടത്തുന്ന വാൾ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ മേൽ വരുത്തും; നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നിച്ചു കൂടുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ മഹാമാരി അയക്കയും നിങ്ങളെ ശത്രുവിന്റെ കൈയിൽ ഏൽപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.

And when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight: and all of you shall eat, and not be satisfied.ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ അപ്പമൊന്ന കോൽ ഒടിച്ചിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ പത്തു സ്ത്രീകൾ ഒരടുപ്പിൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ അപ്പം ചുട്ടു നിങ്ങൾക്കു തിരികെ തൂക്കിത്തരും; നിങ്ങൾ ഭക്ഷിച്ചിട്ടു തൃപ്തരാകയില്ല.

And if all of you will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;ഇതെല്ലാമായിട്ടും നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കാതെ എനിക്കു വിരോധമായി നടന്നാൽ

Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.ഞാനും ക്രോധത്തോടെ നിങ്ങൾക്കു വിരോധമായി നടക്കും; നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങൾനിമിത്തം നിങ്ങളെ ഏഴുമടങ്ങു ശിക്ഷിക്കും.

And all of you shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall all of you eat.നിങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെ മാംസം നിങ്ങൾ തിന്നും; നിങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രിമാരുടെ മാംസവും തിന്നും.

³⁰

And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcasses upon the carcasses of your idols, and my soul shall detest you.ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ പൂജാഗിരികളെ നശിപ്പിച്ചു നിങ്ങളുടെ സൂര്യവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ വെട്ടിക്കളകയും നിങ്ങളുടെ ശവം നിങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളുടെ ഉടലിന്മേൽ ഇട്ടുകളകയും എനിക്കു നിങ്ങളോടു വെറുപ്പുതോന്നുകയും ചെയ്യും.

And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours.ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങളെ പാഴ്നിലവും നിങ്ങളുടെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരങ്ങളെ ശൂന്യവും ആക്കും; നിങ്ങളുടെ സൌരഭ്യവാസന ഞാൻ മണക്കുകയില്ല.

And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it.ഞാൻ ദേശത്തെ ശൂന്യമാക്കും; അതിൽ വസിക്കുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ ശത്രുക്കൾ അതിങ്കൽ ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെടും.

And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ചിതറിച്ചു നിങ്ങളുടെ പിന്നാലെ വാൾ ഊരും നിങ്ങളുടെ ദേശം ശൂന്യമായും നിങ്ങളുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങൾ പാഴ്നിലമായും കിടക്കും.

Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lies desolate, and all of you be in your enemies' land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths.അങ്ങനെ ദേശം ശൂന്യമായി കിടക്കയും നിങ്ങൾ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ ദേശത്തു ഇരിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്ന നാളൊക്കെയും അതു തന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകൾ അനുഭവിക്കും; അപ്പോൾ ദേശം സ്വസ്ഥമായിക്കിടന്നു തന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകൾ അനുഭവിക്കും.

As long as it lies desolate it shall rest; because it did not rest in your sabbaths, when all of you dwelt upon it.നിങ്ങൾ അവിടെ പാർത്തിരുന്നപ്പോൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ ശബ്ബത്തുകളിൽ അതിന്നു അനുഭവമാകാതിരുന്ന സ്വസ്ഥത അതു ശൂന്യമായി കിടക്കുന്ന നാളൊക്കെയും അനുഭവിക്കും.

And upon them that are left alive of you I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursues.ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ ഞാൻ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ ദേശത്തുവെച്ചു ഭീരുത്വം വരുത്തും; ഇല പറക്കുന്ന ശബ്ദം കേട്ടിട്ടു അവർ ഓടും; വാളിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു ഓടുന്നതുപോലെ അവർ ഓടും; ആരും ഓടിക്കാതെ അവർ ഓടിവീഴും.

And they shall fall one upon another, as it were before a sword, when none pursues: and all of you shall have no power to stand before your enemies.ആരും ഓടിക്കാതെ അവർ വാളിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു എന്നപോലെ ഓടി ഒരുത്തന്റെ മേൽ ഒരുത്തൻ വീഴും; ശത്രുക്കളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ നില്പാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു കഴികയുമില്ല.

And all of you shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.നിങ്ങൾ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ നശിക്കും; ശത്രുക്കളുടെ ദേശം നിങ്ങളെ തിന്നുകളയും.

And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies' lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them.നിങ്ങളിൽ ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവർ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ ദേശത്തുവെച്ചു തങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങളാൽ ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകും; തങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങളാലും അവർ അവരോടുകൂടെ ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകും.

If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me;അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യവും തങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ അകൃത്യവും അവർ എന്നോടു ദ്രോഹിച്ച ദ്രോഹവും അവർ എനിക്കു വിരോധമായി നടന്നതുകൊണ്ടു

And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:ഞാനും അവർക്കു വിരോധമായി നടന്നു അവരെ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ ദേശത്തു വരുത്തിയതും ഏറ്റുപറകയും അവരുടെ പരിച്ഛേദനയില്ലാത്ത ഹൃദയം അപ്പോൾ താഴുകയും അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യത്തിന്നുള്ള ശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കയും ചെയ്താൽ

Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.ഞാൻ യാക്കോബിനോടുള്ള എന്റെ നിയമം ഓർക്കും; യിസ്ഹാക്കിനോടുള്ള എന്റെ നിയമവും അബ്രാഹാമിനോടുള്ള എന്റെ നിയമവും ഞാൻ ഓർക്കും; ദേശത്തെയും ഞാൻ ഓർക്കും.

The land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lies desolate without them: and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity: because, even because they despised my judgments, and because their soul abhorred my statutes.അവർ ദേശം വിട്ടുപോയിട്ടു അവരില്ലാതെ അതു ശൂന്യമായി കിടന്നു തന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകൾ അനുഭവിക്കും. അവർ എന്റെ വിധികളെ ധിക്കരിക്കയും അവർക്കു എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളോടു വെറുപ്പുതോന്നുകയും ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടു അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യത്തിന്നുള്ള ശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കും.

And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I detest them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the LORD their God.എങ്കിലും അവർ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ ദേശത്തു ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവരെ നിർമ്മൂലമാക്കുവാനും അവരോടുള്ള എന്റെ നിയമം ലംഘിപ്പാനും തക്കവണ്ണം ഞാൻ അവരെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കയില്ല, അവരെ വെറുക്കയുമില്ല; ഞാൻ അവരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I am the LORD.ഞാൻ അവരുടെ ദൈവമായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ജാതികൾ കാൺകെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു ഞാൻ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന അവരുടെ പൂർവ്വന്മാരോടു ചെയ്ത നിയമം ഞാൻ അവർക്കു വേണ്ടി ഓർക്കും; ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

These are the statutes and judgments and laws, which the LORD made between him and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.യഹോവ സീനായി പർവ്വതത്തിൽവെച്ചു തനിക്കും യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കും തമ്മിൽ മോശെമുഖാന്തരം വെച്ചിട്ടുള്ള ചട്ടങ്ങളും വിധികളും പ്രമാണങ്ങളും ഇവതന്നേ.
