And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു:

Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, My offering, and my bread for my sacrifices made by fire, for a sweet savour unto me, shall all of you observe to offer unto me in their due season.എനിക്കു സൌരഭ്യവാസനയായ ദഹനയാഗങ്ങൾക്കുള്ള എന്റെ ഭോജനമായ വഴിപാടു തക്കസമയത്തു എനിക്കു അർപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ജാഗ്രതയായിരിപ്പാൻ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു കല്പിക്കേണം.

And you shall say unto them, This is the offering made by fire which all of you shall offer unto the LORD; two lambs of the first year without spot day by day, for a continual burnt offering.നീ അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതു: നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവെക്കു അർപ്പിക്കേണ്ടുന്ന ദഹനയാഗം എന്തെന്നാൽ: നാൾതോറും നിരന്തരഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നായി: ഒരു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ള ഊനമില്ലാത്ത രണ്ടു കുഞ്ഞാടു.

The one lamb shall you offer in the morning, and the other lamb shall you offer at even;ഒരു കുഞ്ഞാടിനെ രാവിലേയും മറ്റെ കുഞ്ഞാടിനെ വൈകുന്നേരത്തും യാഗം കഴിക്കേണം.

And a tenth part of an ephah of flour for a food offering, mingled with the fourth part of an hin of beaten oil.ഇടിച്ചെടുത്ത എണ്ണ കാൽ ഹീൻ ചേർത്ത ഒരിടങ്ങഴി മാവു ഭോജനയാഗമായും അർപ്പിക്കേണം.

It is a continual burnt offering, which was ordained in mount Sinai for a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD.ഇതു യഹോവെക്കു സൌരഭ്യവാസനയായ ദഹനയാഗമായി സീനായിപർവ്വതത്തിൽവെച്ചു നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ട നിരന്തരഹോമയാഗം.

And the drink offering thereof shall be the fourth part of an hin for the one lamb: in the holy place shall you cause the strong wine to be poured unto the LORD for a drink offering.അതിന്റെ പാനീയയാഗം കുഞ്ഞാടൊന്നിന്നു കാൽ ഹീൻ മദ്യം ആയിരിക്കേണം; അതു യഹോവെക്കു പാനീയയാഗമായി വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽ ഒഴിക്കേണം.

And the other lamb shall you offer at even: as the food offering of the morning, and as the drink offering thereof, you shall offer it, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.മറ്റെ കുഞ്ഞാടിനെ വൈകുന്നേരത്തു യാഗം കഴിക്കേണം; അതിനെ രാവിലത്തെ ഭോജനയാഗവും അതിന്റെ പാനീയയാഗവുംപോലെ യഹോവെക്കു സൌരഭ്യവാസനയായ ദഹനയാഗമായി അർപ്പിക്കേണം.

And on the sabbath day two lambs of the first year without spot, and two tenth deals of flour for a food offering, mingled with oil, and the drink offering thereof:ശബ്ബത്ത് നാളിലോ ഒരു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ള ഊനമില്ലാത്ത രണ്ടു കുഞ്ഞാടിനെയും ഭോജനയാഗത്തിന്നായി എണ്ണചേർത്ത രണ്ടിടങ്ങഴി മാവും അതിന്റെ പാനീയയാഗവും അർപ്പിക്കേണം.

This is the burnt offering of every sabbath, beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.നിരന്തരഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നും അതിന്റെ പാനീയയാഗത്തിന്നും പുറമെ ഇതു ശബ്ബത്തുതോറുമുള്ള ഹോമയാഗം.

And in the beginnings of your months all of you shall offer a burnt offering unto the LORD; two young bullocks, and one ram, seven lambs of the first year without spot;നിങ്ങളുടെ മാസാരംഭങ്ങളിൽ നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവെക്കു ഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നായി രണ്ടു കാളക്കിടാവിനെയും ഒരു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെയും ഒരു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ള ഊനമില്ലാത്ത ഏഴു കുഞ്ഞാടിനെയും

And three tenth deals of flour for a food offering, mingled with oil, for one bullock; and two tenth deals of flour for a food offering, mingled with oil, for one ram;കാള ഒന്നിന്നു ഭോജനയാഗമായി എണ്ണചേർത്ത മൂന്നിടങ്ങഴി മാവും ആട്ടുകൊറ്റന്നു ഭോജനയാഗമായി എണ്ണചേർത്ത രണ്ടിടങ്ങഴി മാവും

And a several tenth deal of flour mingled with oil for a food offering unto one lamb; for a burnt offering of a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD.കുഞ്ഞാടൊന്നിന്നു ഭോജനയാഗമായി എണ്ണചേർത്ത ഒരിടങ്ങഴി മാവും അർപ്പിക്കേണം. അതു ഹോമയാഗം; യഹോവെക്കു സൌരഭ്യവാസനയായ ദഹനയാഗം തന്നേ.

And their drink offerings shall be half an hin of wine unto a bullock, and the third part of an hin unto a ram, and a fourth part of an hin unto a lamb: this is the burnt offering of every month throughout the months of the year.അവയുടെ പാനീയയാഗം കാളയൊന്നിന്നു അര ഹീൻ വീഞ്ഞും ആട്ടുകൊറ്റന്നു ഹീനിന്റെ മൂന്നിൽ ഒന്നും കുഞ്ഞാടൊന്നിന്നു കാൽ ഹീനും ആയിരിക്കേണം; ഇതു മാസാന്തരം അമാവാസിതോറുമുള്ള ഹോമയാഗം.

And one kid of the goats for a sin offering unto the LORD shall be offered, beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.നിരന്തരഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നും അതിന്റെ പാനീയയാഗത്തിന്നും പുറമെ പാപയാഗമായി യഹോവെക്കു ഒരു കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റനെയും അർപ്പിക്കേണം.

And in the fourteenth day of the first month is the passover of the LORD.ഒന്നാം മാസം പതിന്നാലാം തിയ്യതി യഹോവയുടെ പെസഹ ആകുന്നു.

And in the fifteenth day of this month is the feast: seven days shall unleavened bread be eaten.ആമാസം പതിനഞ്ചാം തിയ്യതി പെരുനാൾ ആയിരിക്കേണം. ഏഴു ദിവസം പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പം തിന്നേണം.

In the first day shall be an holy convocation; all of you shall do no manner of servile work therein:ഒന്നാം ദിവസം വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗം കൂടേണം; അന്നു സാമാന്യവേലയൊന്നും ചെയ്യരുതു.

But all of you shall offer a sacrifice made by fire for a burnt offering unto the LORD; two young bullocks, and one ram, and seven lambs of the first year: they shall be unto you without blemish:എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവെക്കു ഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നായി രണ്ടു കാളക്കിടാവിനെയും ഒരു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെയും ഒരു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ള ഏഴു കുഞ്ഞാടിനെയും ദഹനയാഗമായി അർപ്പിക്കേണം; അവ ഊനമില്ലാത്തവ ആയിരിക്കേണം.

And their food offering shall be of flour mingled with oil: three tenth deals shall all of you offer for a bullock, and two tenth deals for a ram;അവയുടെ ഭോജനയാഗം എണ്ണ ചേർത്ത മാവു ആയിരിക്കേണം; കാള ഒന്നിന്നു മൂന്നിടങ്ങഴിയും ആട്ടുകൊറ്റന്നു രണ്ടിടങ്ങഴിയും

A several tenth deal shall you offer for every lamb, throughout the seven lambs:ഏഴു കുഞ്ഞാട്ടിൽ ഓരോന്നിന്നു ഓരോ ഇടങ്ങഴിയും അർപ്പിക്കേണം.

And one goat for a sin offering, to make an atonement for you.നിങ്ങൾക്കുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിപ്പാൻ പാപയാഗത്തിന്നായി ഒരു കോലാട്ടിനെയും അർപ്പിക്കേണം.

All of you shall offer these beside the burnt offering in the morning, which is for a continual burnt offering.നിരന്തരഹോമയാഗമായ രാവിലത്തെ ഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നു പുറമെ ഇവ അർപ്പിക്കേണം.

After this manner all of you shall offer daily, throughout the seven days, the food of the sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD: it shall be offered beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.ഇങ്ങനെ ഏഴു നാളും യഹോവെക്കു സൌരഭ്യവാസനയായി ദഹനയാഗത്തിന്റെ ഭോജനം ദിവസംപ്രതി അർപ്പിക്കേണം. നിരന്തരഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നും അതിന്റെ പാനീയയാഗത്തിന്നും പുറമെ ഇതു അർപ്പിക്കേണം.

And on the seventh day all of you shall have an holy convocation; all of you shall do no servile work.ഏഴാം ദിവസം വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗം കൂടേണം; അന്നു സാമാന്യവേലയൊന്നും ചെയ്യരുതു.

Also in the day of the first-fruits, when all of you bring a new food offering unto the LORD, after your weeks be out, all of you shall have an holy convocation; all of you shall do no servile work:വാരോത്സവമായ ആദ്യഫലദിവസത്തിൽ പുതിയധാന്യംകൊണ്ടു ഒരു ഭോജനയാഗം കൊണ്ടുവരുമ്പോഴും വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗം കൂടേണം. അന്നു സാമാന്യവേലയൊന്നും ചെയ്യരുതു.

But all of you shall offer the burnt offering for a sweet savour unto the LORD; two young bullocks, one ram, seven lambs of the first year;എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവെക്കു സൌരഭ്യവാസനയായ ഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നായി രണ്ടു കാളക്കിടാവിനെയും ഒരു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെയും ഒരു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ള ഏഴു കുഞ്ഞാടിനെയും അർപ്പിക്കേണം.

And their food offering of flour mingled with oil, three tenth deals unto one bullock, two tenth deals unto one ram,അവയുടെ ഭോജനയാഗമായി എണ്ണചേർത്ത മാവു, കാള ഒന്നിന്നു ഇടങ്ങഴി മൂന്നും ആട്ടുകൊറ്റന്നു ഇടങ്ങഴി രണ്ടും

A several tenth deal unto one lamb, throughout the seven lambs;ഏഴു കുഞ്ഞാട്ടിൽ ഓരോന്നിന്നു ഇടങ്ങഴി ഓരോന്നും

And one kid of the goats, to make an atonement for you.നിങ്ങൾക്കുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിപ്പാൻ ഒരു കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റനും വേണം.

All of you shall offer them beside the continual burnt offering, and his food offering, (they shall be unto you without blemish) and their drink offerings.നിരന്തരഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നും അതിന്റെ ഭോജനയാഗത്തിന്നും അവയുടെ പാനീയയാഗത്തിന്നും പുറമെ നിങ്ങൾ ഇവ അർപ്പിക്കേണം; അവ ഊനമില്ലാത്തവ ആയിരിക്കേണം.

Numbers 29

And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, all of you shall have an holy convocation; all of you shall do no servile work: it is a day of blowing the trumpets unto you.ഏഴാം മാസം ഒന്നാം തിയ്യതി വിശുദ്ധ സഭായോഗം കൂടേണം; അന്നു സാമാന്യ വേലയൊന്നും ചെയ്യരുതു; അതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു കാഹളനാദോത്സവം ആകുന്നു.

And all of you shall offer a burnt offering for a sweet savour unto the LORD; one young bullock, one ram, and seven lambs of the first year without blemish:അന്നു നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവെക്കു സൊരഭ്യവാസനയായ ഹോമയാഗമായി ഒരു കാളക്കിടാവിനെയും ഒരു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെയും ഒരു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ള ഊനമില്ലാത്ത ഏഴു കുഞ്ഞാടിനെയും അർപ്പിക്കേണം.

And their food offering shall be of flour mingled with oil, three tenth deals for a bullock, and two tenth deals for a ram,അവയുടെ ഭോജനയാഗം എണ്ണചേർത്ത മാവു കാളെക്കു ഇടങ്ങഴി മൂന്നും ആട്ടുകൊറ്റന്നു ഇടങ്ങഴി രണ്ടും,

And one kid of the goats for a sin offering, to make an atonement for you:നിങ്ങൾക്കുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിപ്പാൻ പാപയാഗത്തിന്നായി ഒരു കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റനും വേണം.

Beside the burnt offering of the month, and his food offering, and the daily burnt offering, and his food offering, and their drink offerings, according unto their manner, for a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD.അമാവാസിയിലെ ഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നും അതിന്റെ ഭോജനയാഗത്തിന്നും നാൾതോറുമുള്ള ഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നും അതിന്റെ ഭോജനയാഗത്തിന്നും അവെക്കു നിയമപ്രകാരമുള്ള പാനീയയാഗങ്ങൾക്കും പുറമെ യഹോവെക്കു സൌരഭ്യവാസനയായ ദഹനയാഗമായി തന്നേ.

And all of you shall have on the tenth day of this seventh month an holy convocation; and all of you shall afflict your souls: all of you shall not do any work therein:ഏഴാം മാസം പത്താം തിയ്യതി വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗം കൂടേണം; അന്നു നിങ്ങൾ ആത്മതപനം ചെയ്യേണം; വേലയൊന്നും ചെയ്യരുതു.

But all of you shall offer a burnt offering unto the LORD for a sweet savour; one young bullock, one ram, and seven lambs of the first year; they shall be unto you without blemish:എന്നാൽ യഹോവെക്കു സുഗന്ധവാസനയായ ഹോമയാഗമായി ഒരു കാളക്കിടാവിനെയും ഒരു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെയും ഒരു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ള ഏഴു കുഞ്ഞാടിനെയും അർപ്പിക്കേണം; അവ ഊനമില്ലാത്തവ ആയിരിക്കേണം.

One kid of the goats for a sin offering; beside the sin offering of atonement, and the continual burnt offering, and the food offering of it, and their drink offerings.പ്രായശ്ചിത്തയാഗത്തിന്നും നിരന്തരഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നും അതിന്റെ ഭോജനയാഗത്തിന്നും പാനീയയാഗങ്ങൾക്കും പുറമെ പാപയാഗത്തിന്നായി ഒരു കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റന്നും വേണം.

And on the fifteenth day of the seventh month all of you shall have an holy convocation; all of you shall do no servile work, and all of you shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days:ഏഴാം മാസം പതിനഞ്ചാം തിയ്യതി വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗം കൂടേണം; അന്നു സാമാന്യ വേലയൊന്നും ചെയ്യരുതു; ഏഴു ദിവസം യഹോവെക്കു ഉത്സവം അചരിക്കേണം.

And all of you shall offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD; thirteen young bullocks, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year; they shall be without blemish:നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവെക്കു സൌരഭ്യവാസനയായ ദഹനയാഗമായി പതിമൂന്നു കാളക്കിടാവിനെയും രണ്ടു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെയും ഒരു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ള പതിന്നാലു കുഞ്ഞാടിനെയും ഹോമയാഗം കഴിക്കേണം; അവ ഊനമില്ലാത്തവ ആയിരിക്കേണം.

And their food offering shall be of flour mingled with oil, three tenth deals unto every bullock of the thirteen bullocks, two tenth deals to each ram of the two rams,അവയുടെ ഭോജനയാഗം പതിമൂന്നു കാളയിൽ ഓരോന്നിന്നു എണ്ണചേർത്ത മാവു ഇടങ്ങഴി മുമ്മൂന്നും രണ്ടു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനിൽ ഓരോന്നിന്നു ഇടങ്ങഴി ഈരണ്ടും

And a several tenth deal to each lamb of the fourteen lambs:പതിന്നാലു കുഞ്ഞാട്ടിൽ ഓരോന്നിന്നും ഇടങ്ങഴി ഓരോന്നും ആയിരിക്കേണം.

And one kid of the goats for a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, his food offering, and his drink offering.നിരന്തരഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നും അതിന്റെ ഭോജനയാഗത്തിന്നും അതിന്റെ പാനീയയാഗങ്ങൾക്കും പുറമെ പാപയാഗത്തിന്നായി ഒരു കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റനും വേണം.

And on the second day all of you shall offer twelve young bullocks, two rams, fourteen lambs of the first year without spot:രണ്ടാം ദിവസം നിങ്ങൾ പന്ത്രണ്ടു കാളക്കിടാവിനെയും രണ്ടു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെയും ഒരു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ള ഊനമില്ലാത്ത പതിന്നാലു കുഞ്ഞാടിനെയും അർപ്പിക്കേണം.

And their food offering and their drink offerings for the bullocks, for the rams, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, after the manner:അവയുടെ ഭോജനയാഗവും പാനീയയാഗങ്ങളും കാള, ആട്ടുകൊറ്റൻ, കുഞ്ഞാടു എന്നിവയുടെ എണ്ണംപോലെയും നിയമംപോലെയും ആയിരിക്കേണം.

And on the third day eleven bullocks, two rams, fourteen lambs of the first year without blemish;മൂന്നാം ദിവസം പതിനൊന്നു കാളയെയും രണ്ടു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെയും ഒരു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ള ഊനമില്ലാത്ത പതിന്നാലു കുഞ്ഞാടിനെയും അർപ്പിക്കേണം.

Their food offering and their drink offerings for the bullocks, for the rams, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, after the manner:അവയുടെ ഭോജനയാഗവും പാനീയയാഗങ്ങളും കാള, ആട്ടുകൊറ്റൻ, കുഞ്ഞാടു എന്നിവയുടെ എണ്ണംപോലെയും നിയമംപോലെയും ആയിരിക്കേണം.

And on the fifth day nine bullocks, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year without spot:അഞ്ചാം ദിവസം ഒമ്പതു കാളയെയും രണ്ടു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെയും ഒരു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ളഊനമില്ലാത്ത പതിന്നാലു കുഞ്ഞാടിനെയും അർപ്പിക്കേണം.

And on the sixth day eight bullocks, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year without blemish:ആറാം ദിവസം എട്ടു കാളയെയും രണ്ടു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെയും ഒരു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ള ഊനമില്ലാത്ത പതിന്നാലും കുഞ്ഞാടിനെയും അർപ്പിക്കേണം.

On the eighth day all of you shall have a solemn assembly: all of you shall do no servile work therein:എട്ടാം ദിവസം നിങ്ങൾക്കു അന്ത്യയോഗം ഉണ്ടാകേണം; അന്നു സാമാന്യവേലയൊന്നും ചെയ്യരുതു.

But all of you shall offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD: one bullock, one ram, seven lambs of the first year without blemish:എന്നാൽ യഹോവെക്കു സൌരഭ്യവാസനയായ ദഹനയാഗമായി ഒരു കാളയെയും ഒരു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെയും ഒരു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ള ഊനമില്ലാത്ത ഏഴു കുഞ്ഞാടിനെയും ഹോമയാഗം കഴിക്കേണം.

Their food offering and their drink offerings for the bullock, for the ram, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, after the manner:അവയുടെ ഭോജനയാഗവും പാനീയയാഗങ്ങളും കാള, ആട്ടുകൊറ്റൻ, കുഞ്ഞാടു എന്നിവയുടെ എണ്ണംപോലെയും നിയമംപോലെയും ആയിരിക്കേണം.

And one goat for a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, and his food offering, and his drink offering.നിരന്തരഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നും അതിന്റെ ഭോജനയാഗത്തിന്നും പാനീയയാഗങ്ങൾക്കും പുറമെ പാപയാഗത്തിന്നായിട്ടു ഒരു കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റനും വേണം.

These things all of you shall do unto the LORD in your set feasts, beside your vows, and your freewill offerings, for your burnt offerings, and for your food offerings, and for your drink offerings, and for your peace offerings.ഇവയെ നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ നേർച്ചകളും സ്വമേധാദാനങ്ങളുമായ ഹോമയാഗങ്ങൾക്കും ഭോജനയാഗങ്ങൾക്കും പാനീയയാഗങ്ങൾക്കും പുറമെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഉത്സവങ്ങളിൽ യഹോവെക്കു അർപ്പിക്കേണം.

And Moses told the children of Israel according to all that the LORD commanded Moses.യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു ഒക്കെയും മോശെ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

Numbers 30

And Moses spoke unto the heads of the tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD has commanded.മോശെ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രപ്രധാനികളോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: യഹോവ കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന കാര്യം എന്തെന്നാൽ:

If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.ആരെങ്കിലും യഹോവെക്കു ഒരു നേർച്ച നേരുകയോ ഒരു പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതം ദീക്ഷിപ്പാൻ ശപഥംചെയ്കയോ ചെയ്താൽ അവൻ വാക്കിന്നു ഭംഗം വരുത്താതെ തന്റെ വായിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടതുപോലെ ഒക്കെയും നിവർത്തിക്കേണം.

If a woman also vow a vow unto the LORD, and bind herself by a bond, being in her father's house in her youth;ഒരു സ്ത്രീ ബാല്യപ്രായത്തിൽ അപ്പന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ യഹോവെക്കു ഒരു നേർച്ചനേർന്നു ഒരു പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതം നിശ്ചയിക്കയും

And her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she has bound her soul, and her father shall hold his peace at her; then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she has bound her soul shall stand.അവളുടെ അപ്പൻ അവളുടെ നേർച്ചയെയും അവൾ നിശ്ചയിച്ച പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു കേട്ടിട്ടു മിണ്ടാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താൽ അവളുടെ എല്ലാനേർച്ചകളും അവൾ നിശ്ചയിച്ച പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതമൊക്കെയും സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കും.

But if her father prohibit her in the day that he hears; not any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she has bound her soul, shall stand: and the LORD shall forgive her, because her father disallowed her.എന്നാൽ അവളുടെ അപ്പൻ അവളുടെ എല്ലാനേർച്ചയെയും അവൾ നിശ്ചയിച്ച പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു കേൾക്കുന്ന നാളിൽ അവളോടു വിലക്കിയാൽ അവ സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കയില്ല; അവളുടെ അപ്പൻ അവളോടു വിലക്കുകകൊണ്ടു യഹോവ അവളോടു ക്ഷമിക്കും.

And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul;അവൾക്കു ഒരു നേർച്ചയോ വിചാരിക്കാതെ നിശ്ചയിച്ചുപോയ പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതമോ ഉള്ളപ്പോൾ

And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her in the day that he heard it: then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.അവൾ ഒരുത്തന്നു ഭാര്യയാകയും ഭർത്താവു അതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു കേൾക്കുന്ന നാളിൽ മിണ്ടാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താൽ അവളുടെ നേർച്ചകളും അവൾ നിശ്ചയിച്ച പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതവും സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കും.

But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of no effect: and the LORD shall forgive her.എന്നാൽ ഭർത്താവു അതു കേട്ട നാളിൽ അവളോടു വിലക്കിയാൽ അവളുടെ നേർച്ചയും അവൾ വിചാരിക്കാതെ നിശ്ചയിച്ചുപോയ പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതവും അവൻ ദുർബ്ബലപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു; യഹോവ അവളോടു ക്ഷമിക്കും.

But every vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced, wherewith they have bound their souls, shall stand against her.വിധവയോ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടവളോ ചെയ്യുന്ന നേർച്ചയും പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതവും എല്ലാം അവളുടെ മേൽ സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കും.

And if she vowed in her husband's house, or bound her soul by a bond with an oath;അവൾ ഭർത്താവിന്റെ വീട്ടിൽവെച്ചു നേരുകയോ ഒരു പരിവർജ്ജനശപഥം ചെയ്കയോ ചെയ്തിട്ടു

And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and disallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.ഭർത്താവു അതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു കേൾക്കുമ്പോൾ മിണ്ടാതെയും അവളോടു വിലക്കാതെയും ഇരുന്നാൽ അവളുടെ നേർച്ചകൾ ഒക്കെയും അവൾ നിശ്ചയിച്ച പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതവും എല്ലാം സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കും.

But if her husband has utterly made them void on the day he heard them; then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband has made them void; and the LORD shall forgive her.എന്നാൽ ഭർത്താവു കേട്ട നാളിൽ അവയെ ദുർബ്ബലപ്പെടുത്തി എങ്കിൽ നേർച്ചകളോ പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതമോ സംബന്ധിച്ചു അവളുടെ നാവിന്മേൽ നിന്നു വീണതൊന്നും സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കയില്ല; അവളുടെ ഭർത്താവു അതിനെ ദുർബ്ബലപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവ അവളോടു ക്ഷമിക്കും.

Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void.ആത്മതപനം ചെയ്‍വാനുള്ള ഏതു നേർച്ചയും പരിവർജ്ജനശപഥവും സ്ഥിരപ്പെടുത്തുവാനോ ദുർബ്ബലപ്പെടുത്തുവാനോ ഭർത്താവിന്നു അധികാരം ഉണ്ടു.

But if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day; then he establishes all her vows, or all her bonds, which are upon her: he confirms them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard them.എന്നാൽ ഭർത്താവു ഒരിക്കലും ഒന്നും മിണ്ടിയില്ല എങ്കിൽ അവൻ അവളുടെ എല്ലാനേർച്ചയും അവൾ നിശ്ചയിച്ച സകലപരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതവും സ്ഥിരപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു. കേട്ട നാളിൽ മിണ്ടാതിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു അവൻ അവയെ സ്ഥിരപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

But if he shall any ways make them void after that he has heard them; then he shall bear her iniquity.എന്നാൽ കേട്ടിട്ടു കുറെ കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം അവയെ ദുർബ്ബലപ്പെടുത്തിയാൽ അവൻ അവളുടെ കുറ്റം വഹിക്കും.

These are the statutes, which the LORD commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, being yet in her youth in her father's house.ഭാര്യാഭർത്താക്കന്മാർ തമ്മിലും അപ്പന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ കന്യകയായി പാർക്കുന്ന മകളും അപ്പനും തമ്മിലും പ്രമാണിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ച ചട്ടങ്ങൾ ഇവ തന്നേ.

Numbers 31

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,അനന്തരം യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു:

Avenge the children of Israel of the Midianites: afterward shall you be gathered unto your people.യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കു വേണ്ടി മിദ്യാന്യരോടു പ്രതികാരം നടത്തുക; അതിന്റെ ശേഷം നീ നിന്റെ ജനത്തോടു ചേരും.

And Moses spoke unto the people, saying, Arm some of yourselves unto the war, and let them go against the Midianites, and avenge the LORD of Midian.അപ്പോൾ മോശെ ജനത്തോടു സംസാരിച്ചു: മിദ്യാന്യരുടെ നേരെ പുറപ്പെട്ടു യഹോവെക്കുവേണ്ടി മിദ്യാനോടു പ്രതികാരം നടത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു ആളുകളെ യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു ഒരുക്കുവിൻ.

Of every tribe a thousand, throughout all the tribes of Israel, shall all of you send to the war.നിങ്ങൾ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സകലഗോത്രങ്ങളിലും ഓരോന്നിൽനിന്നു ആയിരംപോരെ വീതം യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു അയക്കേണം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

So there were delivered out of the thousands of Israel, a thousand of every tribe, twelve thousand armed for war.അങ്ങനെ യിസ്രായേല്യസഹസ്രങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു ഓരോ ഗോത്രത്തിൽ ആയിരം പേർ വീതം പന്തീരായിരം പേരെ യുദ്ധസന്നദ്ധരായി വേർതിരിച്ചു.

And Moses sent them to the war, a thousand of every tribe, them and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, to the war, with the holy instruments, and the trumpets to blow in his hand.മോശെ ഓരോ ഗോത്രത്തിൽനിന്നു ആയിരം പേർ വീതമുള്ള അവരെയും പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാരിന്റെ മകൻ ഫീനെഹാസിനെയും യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു അയച്ചു; അവന്റെ കൈവശം വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിലെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളും ഗംഭീരനാദകാഹളങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

And they warred against the Midianites, as the LORD commanded Moses; and they slew all the males.യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ അവർ മിദ്യാന്യരോടു യുദ്ധം ചെയ്തു ആണുങ്ങളെ ഒക്കെയും കൊന്നു.

And they slew the kings of Midian, beside the rest of them that were slain; namely, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, five kings of Midian: Balaam also the son of Beor they slew with the sword.നിഹതന്മാരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ അവർ മിദ്യാന്യ രാജാക്കന്മാരായ ഏവി, രേക്കെം, സൂർ, ഹൂർ, രേബ എന്നീ അഞ്ചു രാജാക്കന്മാരെയും കൊന്നു; ബെയോരിന്റെ മകനായ ബിലെയാമിനെയും അവർ വാളുകൊണ്ടു കൊന്നു.

And the children of Israel took all the women of Midian captives, and their little ones, and took the spoil of all their cattle, and all their flocks, and all their goods.യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ മിദ്യാന്യസ്ത്രീകളെയും അവരുടെ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെയും ബദ്ധരാക്കി; അവരുടെ സകലവാഹനമൃഗങ്ങളെയും ആടുമാടുകളെയും അവരുടെ സമ്പത്തൊക്കെയും കൊള്ളയിട്ടു.

And they burnt all their cities wherein they dwelt, and all their goodly castles, with fire.അവർ പാർത്തിരുന്ന എല്ലാപട്ടണങ്ങളും എല്ലാപാളയങ്ങളും തീയിട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളഞ്ഞു.

And they took all the spoil, and all the prey, both of men and of beasts.അവർ എല്ലാകൊള്ളയും മനുഷ്യരും മൃഗങ്ങളുമായുള്ള അപഹൃതമൊക്കെയും എടുത്തു.

And they brought the captives, and the prey, and the spoil, unto Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and unto the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the camp at the plains of Moab, which are by Jordan near Jericho.ബദ്ധന്മാരെ അപഹൃതത്തോടും കൊള്ളയോടുംകൂടെ യെരീഹോവിന്റെ സമീപത്തു യോർദ്ദാന്നരികെയുള്ള മോവാബ് സമഭൂമിയിൽ പാളയത്തിലേക്കു മോശെയുടെയും പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാരിന്റെയും യിസ്രായേൽസഭയുടെയും അടുക്കൽകൊണ്ടു വന്നു.

And Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and all the princes of the congregation, went forth to meet them without the camp.മോശെയും പുരോഹിതൻ എലെയാസാരും സഭയുടെ സകലപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും പാളയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തു അവരെ എതിരേറ്റു ചെന്നു.

And Moses was angry with the officers of the host, with the captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, which came from the battle.എന്നാൽ മോശെ യുദ്ധത്തിൽനിന്നു വന്നിട്ടുള്ള സഹസ്രാധിപന്മാരും ശതാധിപന്മാരുമായ സൈന്യനായകന്മാരോടു കോപിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

And Moses said unto them, Have all of you saved all the women alive?നിങ്ങൾ സ്ത്രീകളെയെല്ലാം ജീവനോടെ വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

¹⁶

Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD.ഇവരത്രേ പെയോരിന്റെ സംഗതിയിൽ ബിലെയാമിന്റെ ഉപദേശത്താൽ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ യഹോവയോടു ദ്രോഹം ചെയ്‍വാനും യഹോവയുടെ സഭയിൽ ബാധ ഉണ്ടാവാനും ഹോതുവായതു.

Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that has known man by lying with him.ആകയാൽ ഇപ്പോൾ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളിലുള്ള ആണിനെയൊക്കെയും പുരുഷനോടുകൂടെ ശയിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള സകലസ്ത്രീകളെയും കൊന്നുകളവിൻ.

But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.പുരുഷനോടുകൂടെ ശയിക്കാത്ത പെൺകുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ ജീവനോടു വെച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ.

¹⁹

And do all of you abide without the camp seven days: whosoever has killed any person, and whosoever has touched any slain, purify both yourselves and your captives on the third day, and on the seventh day.നിങ്ങൾ ഏഴു ദിവസം പാളയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തു പാർക്കേണം; ഒരുത്തനെ കൊന്നവനും കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടവനെ തൊട്ടവനുമെല്ലാം മൂന്നാം ദിവസവും ഏഴാം ദിവസവും തങ്ങളെയും തങ്ങളുടെ ബദ്ധന്മാരെയും ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണം.

And purify all your raiment, and all that is made of skins, and all work of goats' hair, and all things made of wood.സകലവസ്ത്രവും തോൽകൊണ്ടുള്ള എല്ലാകോപ്പും കോലാട്ടുരോമംകൊണ്ടുണ്ടാക്കിയതൊക്കെയും മരംകൊണ്ടുള്ള സകലസാധനവും ശുദ്ധീകരിപ്പിൻ.

And Eleazar the priest said unto the men of war which went to the battle, This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD commanded Moses;പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാർ യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പോയിരുന്ന യോദ്ധാക്കളോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള ന്യായപ്രമാണം ആവിതു:

Only the gold, and the silver, the brass, the iron, the tin, and the lead,പൊന്നു, വെള്ളി, ചെമ്പു, ഇരിമ്പു,

Every thing that may abide the fire, all of you shall make it go through the fire, and it shall be clean: nevertheless it shall be purified with the water of separation: and all that abides not the fire all of you shall make go through the water.വെള്ളീയും, കാരീയം, മുതലായി തീയിൽ നശിച്ചുപോകാത്ത സാധനമൊക്കെയും തീയിൽ ഇട്ടെടുക്കേണം; എന്നാൽ അതു ശുദ്ധമാകും; എങ്കിലും ശുദ്ധീകരണജലത്താലും അതു ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണം. തീയിൽ നശിച്ചുപോകുന്നതെല്ലാം നിങ്ങൾ വെള്ളത്തിൽ മുക്കിയെടുക്കേണം.

And all of you shall wash your clothes on the seventh day, and all of you shall be clean, and afterward all of you shall come into the camp.ഏഴാം ദിവസം വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവരായശേഷം നിങ്ങൾക്കു പാളയത്തിലേക്കു വരാം.

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,പിന്നെ യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു:

Take the sum of the prey that was taken, both of man and of beast, you, and Eleazar the priest, and the chief fathers of the congregation:നീയും പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാരും സഭയിലെ ഗോത്രപ്രധാനികളും കൊള്ളയായി പിടിക്കപ്പെട്ട മനുഷ്യരുടെയും മൃഗങ്ങളുടെയും തുക നോക്കി

And divide the prey into two parts; between them that took the war upon them, who went out to battle, and between all the congregation:പടെക്കുപോയ യോദ്ധാക്കൾക്കും സഭെക്കും ഇങ്ങനെ രണ്ടു ഓഹരിയായി കൊള്ള വിഭാഗിപ്പിൻ.

²⁸

And levy a tribute unto the Lord of the men of war which went out to battle: one soul of five hundred, both of the persons, and of the beeves, and of the asses, and of the sheep:യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പോയ യോദ്ധാക്കളോടു മനുഷ്യരിലും മാടു, കഴുത, ആടു എന്നിവയിലും അഞ്ഞൂറ്റിൽ ഒന്നു യഹോവയുടെ ഓഹരിയായി വാങ്ങേണം.

Take it of their half, and give it unto Eleazar the priest, for an heave offering of the LORD.അവർക്കുള്ള പാതിയിൽനിന്നു അതു എടുത്തു യഹോവെക്കു ഉദർച്ചാർപ്പണമായി പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാരിന്നു കൊടുക്കേണം.

³⁰

And of the children of Israel's half, you shall take one portion of fifty, of the persons, of the beeves, of the asses, and of the flocks, of all manner of beasts, and give them unto the Levites, which keep the charge of the tabernacle of the LORD.എന്നാൽ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കുള്ള പാതിയിൽനിന്നു മനുഷ്യരിലും മാടു, കഴുത, ആടു മുതലായ സകലവിധമൃഗത്തിലും അമ്പതിൽ ഒന്നു എടുത്തു യഹോവയുടെ തിരുനിവാസത്തിലെ വേലചെയ്യുന്ന ലേവ്യർക്കു കൊടുക്കേണം.

And Moses and Eleazar the priest did as the LORD commanded Moses.യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ മോശെയും എലെയാസാരും ചെയ്തു.

And the booty, being the rest of the prey which the men of war had caught, was six hundred thousand and seventy thousand and five thousand sheep,യോദ്ധാക്കൾ കൈവശമാക്കിയതിന്നു പുറമെയുള്ള കൊള്ള ആറു ലക്ഷത്തെഴുപത്തയ്യായിരം ആടും

And threescore and twelve thousand beeves,എഴുപത്തീരായിരം മാടും

And threescore and one thousand asses,അറുപത്തോരായിരം കഴുതയും

³⁵

And thirty and two thousand persons in all, of women that had not known man by lying with him.പുരുഷനോടുകൂടെ ശയിക്കാത്ത പെണ്ണുങ്ങൾ എല്ലാംകൂടി മുപ്പത്തീരായിരംപേരും ആയിരുന്നു.

³⁶

And the half, which was the portion of them that went out to war, was in number three hundred thousand and seven and thirty thousand and five hundred sheep:യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പോയവരുടെ ഓഹരിക്കുള്ള പാതിയിൽ ആടു മൂന്നുലക്ഷത്തി മുപ്പത്തേഴായിരത്തഞ്ഞൂറു.

And the LORD's tribute of the sheep was six hundred and threescore and fifteen.ആടിൽ യഹോവെക്കുള്ള ഓഹരി അറുനൂറ്റെഴുപത്തഞ്ചു;

And the beeves were thirty and six thousand; of which the LORD's tribute was threescore and twelve.കന്നുകാലി മുപ്പത്താറായിരം; അതിൽ യഹോവെക്കുള്ള ഓഹരി എഴുപത്തുരണ്ടു;

And the asses were thirty thousand and five hundred; of which the LORD's tribute was threescore and one.കഴുത മുപ്പതിനായിരത്തഞ്ഞൂറു; അതിൽ യഹോവെക്കുള്ള ഓഹരി അറുപത്തൊന്നു;

And the persons were sixteen thousand; of which the LORD's tribute was thirty and two persons.ആൾ പതിനാറായിരം; അവരിൽ യഹോവെക്കുള്ള ഓഹരി മുപ്പത്തി രണ്ടു.

And Moses gave the tribute, which was the LORD's heave offering, unto Eleazar the priest, as the LORD commanded Moses.യഹോവെക്കു ഉദർച്ചാർപ്പണമായിരുന്ന ഓഹരി യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു പോലെ മോശെ പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാരിന്നു കൊടുത്തു.

And of the children of Israel's half, which Moses divided from the men that warred,മോശെ പടയാളികളുടെ പക്കൽ നിന്നു യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കു വിഭാഗിച്ചുകൊടുത്ത പാതിയിൽനിന്നു -

(Now the half that pertained unto the congregation was three hundred thousand and thirty thousand and seven thousand and five hundred sheep,സഭെക്കുള്ള പാതി മൂന്നു ലക്ഷത്തി മുപ്പത്തേഴായിരത്തഞ്ഞൂറു ആടും

And thirty and six thousand beeves,മുപ്പത്താറായിരം മാടും

⁴⁵

And thirty thousand asses and five hundred,മുപ്പതിനായിരത്തഞ്ഞൂറു കഴുതയും

And sixteen thousand persons;)പതിനാറായിരം ആളും ആയിരുന്നു -

Even of the children of Israel's half, Moses took one portion of fifty, both of man and of beast, and gave them unto the Levites, which kept the charge of the tabernacle of the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ പാതിയിൽനിന്നു മോശെ മനുഷ്യരിലും മൃഗങ്ങളിലും അമ്പതിൽ ഒന്നു എടുത്തു യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ യഹോവയുടെ തിരുനിവാസത്തിലെ വേല ചെയ്യുന്ന ലേവ്യർക്കു കൊടുത്തു.

And the officers which were over thousands of the host, the captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds, came near unto Moses:പിന്നെ സൈന്യസഹസ്രങ്ങൾക്കു നായകന്മാരായ സഹസ്രാധിപന്മാരും ശതാധിപന്മാരും മോശെയുടെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു മോശെയോടു:

And they said unto Moses, Your servants have taken the sum of the men of war which are under our charge, and there lacks not one man of us.അടിയങ്ങൾ അടിയങ്ങളുടെ കീഴുള്ള യോദ്ധാക്കളുടെ തുക നോക്കി, ഒരുത്തനും കുറഞ്ഞു പോയിട്ടില്ല.

We have therefore brought an oblation for the LORD, what every man has got, of jewels of gold, chains, and bracelets, rings, earrings, and tablets, to make an atonement for our souls before the LORD.അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞങ്ങൾക്കു ഓരോരുത്തന്നു കിട്ടിയ പൊന്നാഭരണങ്ങളായ മാല, കൈവള, മോതിരം, കുണുക്കു, കടകം എന്നിവ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ഞങ്ങൾക്കുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ യഹോവെക്കു വഴിപാടായി കൊണ്ടുവന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold of them, even all wrought jewels.മോശെയും പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാരും വിചിത്രപ്പണിയുള്ള ആഭരണങ്ങളായ പൊന്നു അവരോടു വാങ്ങി.

And all the gold of the offering that they offered up to the LORD, of the captains of thousands, and of the captains of hundreds, was sixteen thousand seven hundred and fifty shekels.സഹസ്രാധിപന്മാരും ശതാധിപന്മാരും യഹോവെക്കു ഉദർച്ചാർപ്പണം ചെയ്ത പൊന്നു എല്ലാം കൂടെ പതിനാറായിരത്തെഴുനൂറ്റമ്പതു ശേക്കെൽ ആയിരുന്നു.

(For the men of war had taken spoil, every man for himself.)യോദ്ധാക്കളിൽ ഒരോരുത്തന്നും താന്താന്നു വേണ്ടി കൊള്ളയിട്ടു എടുത്തിട്ടുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

And Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold of the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and brought it into the tabernacle of the congregation, for a memorial for the children of Israel before the LORD.മോശെയും പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാരും സഹാസ്രാധിപന്മാരോടും ശതാധിപന്മാരോടും ആ പൊന്നു വാങ്ങി യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ ഓർമ്മെക്കായി സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിൽകൊണ്ടു പോയി.
