Exodus 3

Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.മോശെ മിദ്യാനിലെ പുരോഹിതനും തന്റെ അമ്മായപ്പനുമായ യിത്രോവിന്റെ ആടുകളെ മോയിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; അവൻ ആടുകളെ മരുഭൂമിക്കു അപ്പുറത്തു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പർവ്വതമായ ഹോരേബ് വരെ കൊണ്ടു ചെന്നു.

And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.അവിടെ യഹോവയുടെ ദൂതൻ ഒരു മുൾപടർപ്പിന്റെ നടുവിൽനിന്നു അഗ്നിജ്വാലയിൽ അവന്നു പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി. അവൻ നോക്കിയാറെ മുൾപടർപ്പു തീ പിടിച്ചു കത്തുന്നതും മുൾപടർപ്പു വെന്തുപോകാതിരിക്കുന്നതും കണ്ടു.

And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.മുൾപടർപ്പു വെന്തുപോകാതിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ വലിയ കാഴ്ച എന്തെന്നു ഞാൻ ചെന്നു നോക്കട്ടെ എന്നു മോശെ പറഞ്ഞു.

And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.നോക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻ വരുന്നതു യഹോവ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ ദൈവം മുൾപടർപ്പിന്റെ നടുവിൽ നിന്നു അവനെ മോശേ, മോശെ എന്നു വിളിച്ചു. അതിന്നു അവൻ: ഇതാ, ഞാൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And he said, Draw not nigh here: put off your shoes from off your feet, for the place whereon you stand is holy ground.അപ്പോൾ അവൻ: ഇങ്ങോട്ടു അടുക്കരുതു; നീ നില്ക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലം വിശുദ്ധഭൂമിയാകയാൽ കാലിൽനിന്നു ചെരിപ്പു അഴിച്ചുകളക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

Moreover he said, I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.ഞാൻ അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ ദൈവവും യിസ്ഹാക്കിന്റെ ദൈവവും യാക്കോബിന്റെ ദൈവവുമായി, നിന്റെ പിതാവിന്റെ ദൈവം ആകുന്നു എന്നും അവൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു. മോശെ ദൈവത്തെ നോക്കുവാൻ ഭയപ്പെട്ടു മുഖം മൂടി.

And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു: മിസ്രയീമിലുള്ള എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ കഷ്ടത ഞാൻ കണ്ടു കണ്ടു; ഊഴിയവിചാരകന്മാർ നിമിത്തമുള്ള അവരുടെ നിലവിളിയും കേട്ടു; ഞാൻ അവരുടെ സങ്കടങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നു.

And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.അവരെ മിസ്രയീമ്യരുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു വിടുവിപ്പാനും ആ ദേശത്തുനിന്നു നല്ലതും വിശാലവുമായ ദേശത്തേക്കു, പാലും തേനും ഒഴുകുന്ന ദേശത്തേക്കു, കനാന്യർ, ഹിത്യർ, അമോർയ്യർ, പെരിസ്യർ, ഹിവ്യർ, യെബൂസ്യർ എന്നവരുടെ സ്ഥലത്തേക്കു അവരെ കൊണ്ടുപോകുവാനും ഞാൻ ഇറങ്ങിവന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ നിലവിളി എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ എത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; മിസ്രയീമ്യർ അവരെ ഞെരുക്കുന്ന ഞെരുക്കവും ഞാൻ കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

Come now therefore, and I will send you unto Pharaoh, that you may bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.ആകയാൽ വരിക; നീ എന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളെ മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ഫറവോന്റെ അടുക്കൽ അയക്കും.

And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?മോശെ ദൈവത്തോടു: ഫറവോന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പോകുവാനും യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളെ മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിപ്പാനും ഞാൻ എന്തു മാത്രമുള്ളു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And he said, Certainly I will be with you; and this shall be a token unto you, that I have sent you: When you have brought forth the people out of Egypt, all of you shall serve God upon this mountain.അതിന്നു അവൻ: ഞാൻ നിന്നോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കും; നീ ജനത്തെ മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു വരുമ്പോൾ നിങ്ങൾ ഈ പർവ്വതത്തിങ്കൽ ദൈവത്തെ ആരാധിക്കുമെന്നുള്ളതു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അയച്ചതിന്നു അടയാളം ആകും എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers has sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?മോശെ ദൈവത്തോടു: ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു: നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദൈവം എന്നെ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറയുമ്പോൾ: അവന്റെ നാമം എന്തെന്നു അവർ എന്നോടു ചോദിച്ചാൽ ഞാൻ അവരോടു എന്തു പറയേണം എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shall you say unto the children of Israel, I AM has sent me unto you.അതിന്നു ദൈവം മോശെയോടു: ഞാൻ ആകുന്നവൻ ഞാൻ ആകുന്നു; ഞാൻ ആകുന്നു എന്നുള്ളവൻ എന്നെ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നിങ്ങനെ നീ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു പറയേണം എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shall you say unto the children of Israel, the LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.ദൈവം പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതെന്തന്നാൽ: നീ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു ഇപ്രകാരം പറയേണം: അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ ദൈവവും യിസ്ഹാക്കിന്റെ ദൈവവും യാക്കോബിന്റെ ദൈവവുമായി നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്നെ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇതു എന്നേക്കും എന്റെ നാമവും തലമുറ തലമുറയായി എന്റെ ജ്ഞാപകവും ആകുന്നു.

Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt:നീ ചെന്നു യിസ്രായേൽമൂപ്പന്മാരെ കൂട്ടി അവരോടു: അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെയും യിസ്ഹാക്കിന്റെയും യാക്കോബിന്റെയും ദൈവമായി, നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എനിക്കു പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി കല്പിച്ചതു: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെയും മിസ്രയീമിൽ അവർ നിങ്ങളോടു ചെയ്യുന്നതിനെയും സന്ദർശിക്കുന്നു.

And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.മിസ്രയീമിലെ കഷ്ടതയിൽനിന്നു കനാന്യർ, ഹിത്യർ, അമോർയ്യർ, പെരിസ്യർ, ഹിവ്യർ, യെബൂസ്യർ എന്നിവരുടെ ദേശത്തേക്കു, പാലും തേനും ഒഴുകുന്ന ദേശത്തേക്കു നിങ്ങളെ കൊണ്ടുപോകുവാൻ ഞാൻ നിശ്ചയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറക.

And they shall hearken to your voice: and you shall come, you and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and all of you shall say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews has met with us: and now let us go, we plead to you, three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God.എന്നാൽ അവർ നിന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കും. അപ്പോൾ നീയും യിസ്രായേൽ മൂപ്പന്മാരും മിസ്രയീംരാജാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു അവനോടു: എബ്രായരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു വെളിപ്പെട്ടുവന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. ആകയാൽ ഞങ്ങൾ മൂന്നു ദിവസത്തെ വഴി മരുഭൂമിയിൽ ചെന്നു ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവെക്കു യാഗം കഴിക്കട്ടെ എന്നു പറവിൻ.

And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand.എന്നാൽ മിസ്രയീംരാജാവു ഭുജബലംകൊണ്ടല്ലാതെ നിങ്ങളെ പോകുവാൻ സമ്മതിക്കയില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു.

And I will stretch out my hand, and strike Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof: and after that he will let you go.അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ എന്റെ കൈ നീട്ടി മിസ്രയീമിന്റെ നടുവിൽ ചെയ്‍വാനിരിക്കുന്ന അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ടൊക്കെയും അതിനെ ദണ്ഡിപ്പിക്കും; അതിന്റെ ശേഷം അവൻ നിങ്ങളെ വിട്ടയക്കും.

And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when all of you go, all of you shall not go empty.ഞാൻ മിസ്രയീമ്യർക്കു ഈ ജനത്തോടു കൃപ തോന്നുമാറാക്കും; നിങ്ങൾ പോരുമ്പോൾ വെറുങ്കയ്യായി പോരേണ്ടിവരികയില്ല.

But every woman shall borrow of her neighbour, and of her that sojourns in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and all of you shall put them upon your sons, and upon your daughters; and all of you shall spoil the Egyptians.ഓരോ സ്ത്രീ താന്താന്റെ അയൽക്കാരത്തിയോടും വീട്ടിൽ അതിഥിയായി പാർക്കുന്നവളോടും വെള്ളിയാഭരണങ്ങളും പൊന്നാഭരണങ്ങളും വസ്ത്രങ്ങളും ചോദിച്ചുവാങ്ങി നിങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ധരിപ്പിക്കയും മിസ്രയീമ്യരെ കൊള്ളയിടുകയും വേണം.

Exodus 4

And Moses answered and said, But, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice: for they will say, The LORD has not appeared unto you.അതിന്നു മോശെ: അവർ എന്നെ വിശ്വസിക്കാതെയും എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കാതെയും: യഹോവ നിനക്കു പ്രത്യക്ഷനായിട്ടില്ല എന്നു പറയും എന്നുത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

And the LORD said unto him, What is that in yours hand? And he said, A rod.യഹോവ അവനോടു: നിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. ഒരു വടി എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.

And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it.അതു നിലത്തിടുക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു. അവൻ നിലത്തിട്ടു; അതു ഒരു സർപ്പമായ്തീർന്നു; മോശെ അതിനെ കണ്ടു ഓടിപ്പോയി.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth yours hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand:യഹോവ മോശെയോടു: നിന്റെ കൈ നീട്ടി അതിനെ വാലിന്നു പിടിക്ക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു. അവൻ കൈ നീട്ടി അതിനെ പിടിച്ചു; അതു അവന്റെ കയ്യിൽ വടിയായ്തീർന്നു.

That they may believe that the LORD God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared unto you.ഇതു അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ ദൈവവും യിസ്ഹാക്കിന്റെ ദൈവവും യാക്കോബിന്റെ ദൈവവും ആയി അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്കു പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി എന്നു അവർ വിശ്വസിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ആകുന്നു

And the LORD said furthermore unto him, Put now yours hand into your bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom: and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous as snow.യഹോവ പിന്നെയും അവനോടു: നിന്റെ കൈ മാർവ്വിടത്തിൽ ഇടുക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു. അവൻ കൈ മാർവ്വിടത്തിൽ ഇട്ടു; പുറത്തു എടുത്തപ്പോൾ കൈ ഹിമം പോലെ വെളുത്തു കുഷ്ഠമുള്ളതായി കണ്ടു.

And he said, Put yours hand into your bosom again. And he put his hand into his bosom again; and plucked it out of his bosom, and, behold, it was turned again as his other flesh.നിന്റെ കൈ വീണ്ടും മാർവ്വിടത്തിൽ ഇടുക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു. അവൻ കൈ വീണ്ടും മാർവ്വിടത്തിൽ ഇട്ടു, മാർവ്വിടത്തിൽനിന്നു പുറത്തെടുത്തപ്പോൾ, അതു വീണ്ടും അവന്റെ മറ്റേ മാംസംപോലെ ആയി കണ്ടു.

And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe you, neither hearken to the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter sign.എന്നാൽ അവർ വിശ്വസിക്കാതെയും ആദ്യത്തെ അടയാളം അനുസരിക്കാതെയും ഇരുന്നാൽ അവർ പിന്നത്തെ അടയാളം വിശ്വസിക്കും.

And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe also these two signs, neither hearken unto your voice, that you shall take of the water of the river, and pour it upon the dry land: and the water which you take out of the river shall become blood upon the dry land.ഈ രണ്ടടയാളങ്ങളും അവർ വിശ്വസിക്കാതെയും നിന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കാതെയും ഇരുന്നാൽ നീ നദിയിലെ വെള്ളം കോരി ഉണങ്ങിയ നിലത്തു ഒഴിക്കേണം; നദിയിൽ നിന്നു കോരിയ വെള്ളം ഉണങ്ങിയ നിലത്തു രക്തമായ്തീരും.

And Moses said unto the LORD, O my LORD, I am not eloquent, neither in time past, nor since you have spoken unto your servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.മോശെ യഹോവയോടു: കർത്താവേ, മുമ്പേ തന്നെയും നീ അടിയനോടു സംസാരിച്ചശേഷവും ഞാൻ വാക്സാമർത്ഥ്യമുള്ളവനല്ല; ഞാൻ വിക്കനും തടിച്ചനാവുള്ളവനും ആകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And the LORD said unto him, Who has made man's mouth? or who makes the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD?അതിന്നു യഹോവ അവനോടു: മനുഷ്യന്നു വായി കൊടുത്തതു ആർ? അല്ല, ഊമനെയും ചെകിടനെയും കാഴ്ചയുള്ളവനെയും കുരുടനെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കിയതു ആർ? യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ അല്ലയോ? ആകയാൽ നീ ചെല്ലുക;

Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth, and teach you what you shall say.ഞാൻ നിന്റെ വായോടുകൂടെ ഇരുന്നു നീ സംസാരിക്കേണ്ടതു നിനക്കു ഉപദേശിച്ചുതരും എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

And he said, O my LORD, send, I pray you, by the hand of him whom you will send.എന്നാൽ അവൻ: കർത്താവേ, നിനക്കു ബോധിച്ച മറ്റാരെയെങ്കിലും അയക്കേണമേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു..

And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses, and he said, Is not Aaron the Levite your brother? I know that he can speak well. And also, behold, he comes forth to meet you: and when he sees you, he will be glad in his heart.അപ്പോൾ യഹോവയുടെ കോപം മോശെയുടെ നേരെ ജ്വലിച്ചു, അവൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു: ലേവ്യനായ അഹരോൻ നിന്റെ സഹോദരനല്ലയോ? അവന്നു നല്ലവണ്ണം സംസാരിക്കാമെന്നു ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു. അവൻ നിന്നെ എതിരേല്പാൻ പുറപ്പെട്ടുവരുന്നു; നിന്നെ കാണുമ്പോൾ അവൻ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ ആനന്ദിക്കും.

And you shall speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with your mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what all of you shall do.നീ അവനോടു സംസാരിച്ചു അവന്നു വാക്കു പറഞ്ഞു കൊടുക്കേണം. ഞാൻ നിന്റെ വായോടും അവന്റെ വായോടും കൂടെ ഇരിക്കും; നിങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യേണ്ടുന്നതു ഉപദേശിച്ചുതരും.

And he shall be your spokesman unto the people: and he shall be, even he shall be to you instead of a mouth, and you shall be to him instead of God.നിനക്കു പകരം അവൻ ജനത്തോടു സംസാരിക്കും; അവൻ നിനക്കു വായായിരിക്കും, നീ അവന്നു ദൈവവും ആയിരിക്കും.

And you shall take this rod in yours hand, wherewith you shall do signs.അടയാളങ്ങൾ പ്രവർത്തിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഈ വടിയും നിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ എടുത്തുകൊൾക.

And Moses went and returned to Jethro his father in law, and said unto him, Let me go, I pray you, and return unto my brethren which are in Egypt, and see whether they be yet alive. And Jethro said to Moses, Go in peace.പിന്നെ മോശെ തന്റെ അമ്മായപ്പനായ യിത്രോവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു അവനോടു: ഞാൻ പുറപ്പെട്ടു, മിസ്രയീമിലെ എന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു, അവർ ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്നുവോ എന്നു നോക്കട്ടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. യിത്രോ മോശെയോടു: സമാധാനത്തോടെ പോക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു..

And the LORD said unto Moses in Midian, Go, return into Egypt: for all the men are dead which sought your life.യഹോവ മിദ്യാനിൽവെച്ചു മോശെയോടു: മിസ്രയീമിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോക; നിനക്കു ജീവഹാനി വരുത്തുവാൻ നോക്കിയവർ എല്ലാവരും മരിച്ചുപോയി എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

And Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them upon an ass, and he returned to the land of Egypt: and Moses took the rod of God in his hand.അങ്ങനെ മോശെ തന്റെ ഭാര്യയെയും പുത്രന്മാരെയും കൂട്ടി കഴുതപ്പുറത്തുകയറ്റി മിസ്രയിംദേശത്തേക്കു മടങ്ങി; ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വടിയും മോശെ കയ്യിൽ എടുത്തു.

And the LORD said unto Moses, When you go to return into Egypt, see that you do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in yours hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go.യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു: നീ മിസ്രയീമിൽ ചെന്നെത്തുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ഭരമേല്പിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള അത്ഭുതങ്ങളൊക്കെയും ഫറവോന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ ചെയ്‍വാൻ ഓർത്തുകൊൾക; എന്നാൽ അവൻ ജനത്തെ വിട്ടയക്കാതിരിപ്പാൻ ഞാൻ അവന്റെ ഹൃദയം കഠിനമാക്കും.

And you shall say unto Pharaoh, Thus says the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn:നീ ഫറവോനോടു: യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: യിസ്രായേൽ എന്റെ പുത്രൻ, എന്റെ ആദ്യജാതൻ തന്നേ.

And I say unto you, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if you refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay your son, even your firstborn.എനിക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്‍വാൻ എന്റെ പുത്രനെ വിട്ടയക്കേണമെന്നു ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു കല്പിക്കുന്നു; അവനെ വിട്ടയപ്പാൻ സമ്മതിക്കുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ പുത്രനെ, നിന്റെ ആദ്യജാതനെ തന്നേ കൊന്നുകളയും എന്നു പറക.

And it came to pass by the way in the inn, that the LORD met him, and sought to kill him.എന്നാൽ വഴിയിൽ സത്രത്തിൽവെച്ചു യഹോവ അവനെ എതിരിട്ടു കൊല്ലുവാൻ ഭാവിച്ചു.

Then Zipporah took a sharp stone, and cut off the foreskin of her son, and cast it at his feet, and said, Surely a bloody husband are you to me.അപ്പോൾ സിപ്പോരാ ഒരു കൽക്കത്തി എടുത്തു തന്റെ മകന്റെ അഗ്രചർമ്മം ഛേദിച്ചു അവന്റെ കാൽക്കൽ ഇട്ടു: നീ എനിക്കു രക്തമണവാളൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

So he let him go: then she said, A bloody husband you are, because of the circumcision.ഇങ്ങനെ അവൻ അവനെ വിട്ടൊഴിഞ്ഞു; ആ സമയത്താകുന്നു അവൾ പരിച്ഛേദന നിമിത്തം രക്തമണവാളൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞതു.

And the LORD said to Aaron, Go into the wilderness to meet Moses. And he went, and met him in the mount of God, and kissed him.എന്നാൽ യഹോവ അഹരോനോടു: നീ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ മോശെയെ എതിരേല്പാൻ ചെല്ലുക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു; അവൻ ചെന്നു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പർവ്വതത്തിങ്കൽവെച്ചു അവനെ എതിരേറ്റു ചുംബിച്ചു.

And Moses told Aaron all the words of the LORD who had sent him, and all the signs which he had commanded him.യഹോവ തന്നേ ഏല്പിച്ചയച്ച വചനങ്ങളൊക്കെയും തന്നോടു കല്പിച്ച അടയാളങ്ങളൊക്കെയും മോശെ അഹരോനെ അറിയിച്ചു.

And Moses and Aaron went and gathered together all the elders of the children of Israel:പിന്നെ മോശെയും അഹരോനും പോയി, യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ മൂപ്പന്മാരെ ഒക്കെയും കൂട്ടിവരുത്തി.

And Aaron spoke all the words which the LORD had spoken unto Moses, and did the signs in the sight of the people.യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ച വചനങ്ങളെല്ലാം അഹരോൻ പറഞ്ഞു കേൾപ്പിച്ചു, ജനം കാൺകെ ആ അടയാളങ്ങളും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു.

And the people believed: and when they heard that the LORD had visited the children of Israel, and that he had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped.അപ്പോൾ ജനം വിശ്വസിച്ചു; യഹോവ യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളെ സന്ദർശിച്ചു എന്നും തങ്ങളുടെ കഷ്ടത കടാക്ഷിച്ചു എന്നും കേട്ടിട്ടു അവർ കുമ്പിട്ടു നമസ്കരിച്ചു.

Exodus 5

And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus says the LORD God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.അതിന്റെശേഷം മോശെയും അഹരോനും ചെന്നു ഫറവോനോടു: മരുഭൂമിയിൽ എനിക്കു ഉത്സവം കഴിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്റെ ജനത്തെ വിട്ടയക്കേണം എന്നിപ്രകാരം യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ കല്പിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go.അതിന്നു ഫറവോൻ: യിസ്രായേലിനെ വിട്ടയപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം ഞാൻ യഹോവയുടെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻ ആർ? ഞാൻ യഹോവയെ അറികയില്ല; ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേലിനെ വിട്ടയക്കയുമില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And they said, The God of the Hebrews has met with us: let us go, we pray you, three days' journey into the desert, and sacrifice unto the LORD our God; lest he fall upon us with pestilence, or with the sword.അതിന്നു അവർ: എബ്രായരുടെ ദൈവം ഞങ്ങൾക്കു പ്രത്യക്ഷനായ്‍വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ മഹാമാരിയാലോ വാളാലോ ഞങ്ങളെ ദണ്ഡിപ്പിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ മൂന്നു ദിവസത്തെ വഴി മരുഭൂമിയിൽ പോയി, ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവെക്കു യാഗം കഴിക്കട്ടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And the king of Egypt said unto them, Wherefore do all of you, Moses and Aaron, let the people from their works? get you unto your burdens.മിസ്രയീംരാജാവു അവരോടു: മോശേ, അഹരോനേ, നിങ്ങൾ ജനങ്ങളെ വേല മിനക്കെടുത്തുന്നതു എന്തു? നിങ്ങളുടെ ഊഴിയ വേലെക്കു പോകുവിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And Pharaoh said, Behold, the people of the land now are many, and all of you make them rest from their burdens.ദേശത്തു ജനം ഇപ്പോൾ വളരെ ആകുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾ അവരെ അവരുടെ ഊഴിയവേല മിനക്കെടുത്തുന്നു എന്നും ഫറവോൻ പറഞ്ഞു.

And Pharaoh commanded the same day the taskmasters of the people, and their officers, saying,അന്നു ഫറവോൻ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഊഴിയ വിചാരകന്മാരോടും പ്രമാണികളോടും കല്പിച്ചതു എന്തെന്നാൽ:

All of you shall no more give the people straw to make brick, as in time past: let them go and gather straw for themselves.ഇഷ്ടിക ഉണ്ടാക്കുവാൻ ജനത്തിന്നു മുമ്പിലത്തെപ്പോലെ ഇനി വൈക്കോൽ കൊടുക്കരുതു; അവർ തന്നേ പോയി വൈക്കോൽ ശേഖരിക്കട്ടെ.

And the tale of the bricks, which they did make in time past, all of you shall lay upon them; all of you shall not diminish ought thereof: for they be idle; therefore they cry, saying, Let us go and sacrifice to our God.എങ്കിലും ഇഷ്ടികയുടെ കണക്കു മുമ്പിലത്തെപ്പോലെ തന്നേ അവരുടെ മേൽ ചുമത്തേണം; ഒട്ടും കുറെക്കരുതു. അവർ മടിയന്മാർ; അതുകൊണ്ടാകുന്നു: ഞങ്ങൾ പോയി ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു യാഗം കഴിക്കട്ടെ എന്നു നിലവിളിക്കുന്നതു.

Let there more work be laid upon the men, that they may labour therein; and let them not regard vain words.അവരുടെ വേല അതിഭാരമായിരിക്കട്ടെ; അവർ അതിൽ കഷ്ടപ്പെടട്ടെ;

And the taskmasters of the people went out, and their officers, and they spoke to the people, saying, Thus says Pharaoh, I will not give you straw.അവരുടെ വ്യാജവാക്കുകൾ കേൾക്കരുതു. അങ്ങനെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഊഴിയവിചാരകന്മാരും പ്രമാണികളും ചെന്നു ജനത്തോടു: നിങ്ങൾക്കു വൈക്കോൽ തരികയില്ല,

Go all of you, get you straw where all of you can find it: yet not ought of your work shall be diminished.നിങ്ങൾ തന്നേ പോയി കിട്ടുന്നേടത്തുനിന്നു വൈക്കോൽ ശേഖരിപ്പിൻ; എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങളുടെ വേലയിൽ ഒട്ടും കുറെക്കയില്ല എന്നു ഫറവോൻ കല്പിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

So the people were scattered abroad throughout all the land of Egypt to gather stubble instead of straw.അങ്ങനെ ജനം വൈക്കോലിന്നു പകരം താളടി ശേഖരിപ്പാൻ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു എല്ലാടവും ചിതറി നടന്നു.

And the taskmasters hasted them, saying, Fulfill your works, your daily tasks, as when there was straw.ഊഴിയ വിചാരകന്മാർ അവരെ ഹേമിച്ചു: വൈക്കോൽ കിട്ടിവന്നപ്പോൾ ഉള്ളതിന്നു ശരിയായി നിങ്ങളുടെ നിത്യവേല ദിവസവും തികെക്കേണം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And the officers of the children of Israel, which Pharaoh's taskmasters had set over them, were beaten, and demanded, Wherefore have all of you not fulfilled your task in making brick both yesterday and to day, as in time past?ഫറവോന്റെ ഊഴിയവിചാരകന്മാർ യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളുടെ മേൽ ആക്കിയിരുന്ന പ്രമാണികളെ അടിച്ചു: നിങ്ങൾ ഇന്നലെയും ഇന്നും മുമ്പിലത്തെപ്പോലെ ഇഷ്ടിക തികെക്കാഞ്ഞതു എന്തു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

Then the officers of the children of Israel came and cried unto Pharaoh, saying, Wherefore deal you thus with your servants?അതുകൊണ്ടു യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ പ്രാമണികൾ ചെന്നു ഫറവോനോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു; അടിയങ്ങളോടു ഇങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യുന്നതു എന്തു?

There is no straw given unto your servants, and they say to us, Make brick: and, behold, your servants are beaten; but the fault is in yours own people.അടിയങ്ങൾക്കു വൈക്കോൽ തരാതെ ഇഷ്ടിക ഉണ്ടാക്കുവിൻ എന്നു അവർ പറയുന്നു; അടിയങ്ങളെ തല്ലുന്നു; അതു നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്നു പാപമാകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

But he said, All of you are idle, all of you are idle: therefore all of you say, Let us go and do sacrifice to the LORD.അതിന്നു അവൻ: മടിയന്മാരാകുന്നു നിങ്ങൾ, മടിയന്മാർ; അതുകൊണ്ടു: ഞങ്ങൾ പോയി യഹോവെക്കു യാഗം കഴിക്കട്ടെ എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ പറയുന്നു.

Go therefore now, and work; for there shall no straw be given you, yet shall all of you deliver the tale of bricks.പോയി വേല ചെയ്‍വിൻ; വൈക്കോൽ തരികയില്ല, ഇഷ്ടിക കണക്കു പോലെ ഏല്പിക്കേണംതാനും എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

And the officers of the children of Israel did see that they were in evil case, after it was said, All of you shall not diminish ought from your bricks of your daily task.ദിവസംതോറുമുള്ള ഇഷ്ടികക്കണക്കിൽ ഒന്നും കുറെക്കരുതു എന്നു കല്പിച്ചപ്പോൾ തങ്ങൾ വിഷമത്തിലായി എന്നു യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ പ്രാമണികൾ കണ്ടു.

And they met Moses and Aaron, who stood in the way, as they came forth from Pharaoh:അവർ ഫറവോനെ വിട്ടു പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ മോശെയും അഹരോനും വഴിയിൽ നില്ക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു,

And they said unto them, The LORD look upon you, and judge; because all of you have made our savour to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay us.അവരോടു നിങ്ങൾ ഫറവോന്റെയും അവന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരുടെയും മുമ്പാകെ ഞങ്ങളെ നാറ്റി, ഞങ്ങളെ കൊല്ലുവാൻ അവരുടെ കയ്യിൽ വാൾ കൊടുത്തതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവ നിങ്ങളെ നോക്കി ന്യായം വിധിക്കട്ടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, LORD, wherefore have you so evil pleaded this people? why is it that you have sent me?അപ്പോൾ മോശെ യഹോവയുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു: കർത്താവേ, നീ ഈ ജനത്തിന്നു ദോഷം വരുത്തിയതു എന്തു? നീ എന്നെ അയച്ചതു എന്തിന്നു?

For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in your name, he has done evil to this people; neither have you delivered your people at all.ഞാൻ നിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ സംസാരിപ്പാൻ ഫറവോന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നതുമുതൽ അവൻ ഈ ജനത്തോടു ദോഷം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ ജനത്തെ നീ വിടുവിച്ചതുമില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

Exodus 6

Then the LORD said unto Moses, Now shall you see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.യഹോവ മോശെയോടു: ഞാൻ ഫറവോനോടു ചെയ്യുന്നതു നീ ഇപ്പോൾ കാണും: ശക്തിയുള്ള കൈ കണ്ടിട്ടു അവൻ അവരെ വിട്ടയക്കും; ശക്തിയുള്ള കൈ കണ്ടിട്ടു അവരെ തന്റെ ദേശത്തുനിന്നു ഓടിച്ചുകളയും എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

And God spoke unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD:ദൈവം പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതെന്തെന്നാൽ: ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.ഞാൻ അബ്രാഹാമിന്നു യിസ്ഹാക്കിന്നും യാക്കോബിന്നും സർവ്വശക്തിയുള്ള ദൈവമായിട്ടു പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി; എന്നാൽ യഹോവ എന്ന നാമത്തിൽ ഞാൻ അവർക്കു വെളിപ്പെട്ടില്ല.

And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers.അവർ പരദേശികളായി പാർത്ത കനാൻ ദേശം അവർക്കു കൊടുക്കുമെന്നു ഞാൻ അവരോടു ഒരു നിയമം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant.മിസ്രയീമ്യർ അടിമകളാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്ന യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ ഞരക്കം ഞാൻ കേട്ടു എന്റെ നിയമം ഓർത്തുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:അതുകൊണ്ടു നീ യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ മിസ്രയീമ്യരുടെ ഊഴിയവേലയിൽനിന്നു ഉദ്ധരിച്ചു അവരുടെ അടിമയിൽ നിന്നു നിങ്ങളെ വിടുവിക്കും; നീട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്ന ഭുജംകൊണ്ടും മഹാശിക്ഷാവിധികൾകൊണ്ടും നിങ്ങളെ വീണ്ടെടുക്കും.

And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and all of you shall know that I am the LORD your God, which brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ എനിക്കു ജനമാക്കിക്കൊൾകയും ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ദൈവമായിരിക്കയും ചെയ്യും. മിസ്രയീമ്യരുടെ ഊഴിയവേലയിൽനിന്നു നിങ്ങളെ ഉദ്ധരിക്കുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഞാൻ ആകുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും.

And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the LORD.ഞാൻ അബ്രാഹാമിന്നും യിസ്ഹാക്കിന്നും യാക്കോബിന്നും നല്കുമെന്നു സത്യംചെയ്ത ദേശത്തേക്കു നിങ്ങളെ കൊണ്ടുപോയി അതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു അവകാശമായി തരും.

And Moses spoke so unto the children of Israel: but they hearkened not unto Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു. മോശെ ഇങ്ങനെ തന്നേ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു പറഞ്ഞു: എന്നാൽ അവർ മനോവ്യസനംകൊണ്ടും കഠിനമായ അടിമവേലകൊണ്ടും മോശെയുടെ വാക്കു കേട്ടില്ല.

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു:

Go in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land.നീ ചെന്നു മിസ്രയീംരാജാവായ ഫറവോനോടു യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളെ തന്റെ ദേശത്തുനിന്നു വിട്ടയപ്പാൻ പറക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

And Moses spoke before the LORD, saying, Behold, the children of Israel have not hearkened unto me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcised lips?അതിന്നു മോശെ: യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കൾ എന്റെ വാക്കു കേട്ടില്ല; പിന്നെ ഫറവോൻ എങ്ങനെ കേൾക്കും? ഞാൻ വാഗ്വൈഭവമുള്ളവനല്ലല്ലോ എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ പറഞ്ഞു.

And the LORD spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron, and gave them a charge unto the children of Israel, and unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.അനന്തരം യഹോവ മോശെയോടും അഹരോനോടും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു, യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു നിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവരെ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കും മിസ്രയീംരാജാവായ ഫറവോന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്കും നിയോഗിച്ചയച്ചു.

These be the heads of their fathers' houses: The sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel; Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi: these be the families of Reuben.അവരുടെ കുടുംബത്തലവന്മാർ ആരെന്നാൽ: യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ആദ്യജാതനായ രൂബേന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഹനോക്, ഫല്ലൂ ഹെസ്രോൻ, കർമ്മി; ഇവ രൂബേന്റെ കുലങ്ങൾ.

And the sons of Simeon; Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanitish woman: these are the families of Simeon.ശിമെയോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: യെമൂവേൽ, യാമീൻ, ഓഹദ്, യാഖീൻ, സോഹർ, കനാന്യസ്ത്രീയുടെ മകനായ ശൌൽ; ഇവ ശിമെയോന്റെ കുലങ്ങൾ.

And these are the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations; Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari: and the years of the life of Levi were an hundred thirty and seven years.വംശപാരമ്പര്യപ്രകാരം ലേവിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെ പേരുകൾ ഇവ: ഗേർശോൻ, കഹാത്ത്, മെരാരി; ലേവിയുടെ ആയുഷ്കാലം നൂറ്റിമുപ്പത്തേഴു സംവത്സരം ആയിരുന്നു.

The sons of Gershon; Libni, and Shimi, according to their families.ഗേർശോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: കുടുംബസഹിതം ലിബ്നിയും ശിമെയിയും ആയിരുന്നു.

And the sons of Kohath; Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel: and the years of the life of Kohath were an hundred thirty and three years.കഹാത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: അമ്രാം, യിസ്ഹാർ, ഹെബ്രോൻ, ഉസ്സീയേൽ; കഹാത്തിന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം നൂറ്റിമുപ്പത്തുമൂന്നു സംവത്സരം.

And the sons of Merari; Mahali and Mushi: these are the families of Levi according to their generations.മെരാരിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ; മഹ്ളി, മൂശി, ഇവർ വംശപാരമ്പര്യപ്രകാരം ലേവിയുടെ കുലങ്ങൾ ആകുന്നു.

And Amram took him Jochebed his father's sister to wife; and she bare him Aaron and Moses: and the years of the life of Amram were an hundred and thirty and seven years.അമ്രാം തന്റെ പിതാവിന്റെ സഹോദരിയായ യോഖേബെദിനെ വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചു; അവൾ അവന്നു അഹരോനെയും മോശെയെയും പ്രസവിച്ചു; അമ്രാമിന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം നൂറ്റി മുപ്പത്തേഴു സംവത്സരം ആയിരുന്നു.

And the sons of Izhar; Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.യിസ്ഹാരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: കോരഹ്, നേഫെഗ്, സിക്രി.

And Aaron took him Elisheba, daughter of Amminadab, sister of Naashon, to wife; and she bare him Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.അഹരോൻ അമ്മീ നാദാബിന്റെ മകളും നഹശോന്റെ സഹോദരിയുമായ എലീശേബയെ ഭാര്യയായി പരിഗ്രഹിച്ചു; അവൾ അവന്നു നാദാബ്, അബീഹൂ, എലെയാസാർ, ഈഥാമാർ എന്നിവരെ പ്രസവിച്ചു.

And the sons of Korah; Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph: these are the families of the Korhites.കോരഹിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ, അസ്സൂർ, എൽക്കാനാ അബിയാസാഫ് ഇവ കോരഹ്യകുലങ്ങൾ.

And Eleazar Aaron's son took him one of the daughters of Putiel to wife; and she bare him Phinehas: these are the heads of the fathers of the Levites according to their families.അഹരോന്റെ മകനായ എലെയാസാർ ഫൂതീയേലിന്റെ പുത്രിമാരിൽ ഒരുത്തിയെ വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചു. അവൾ അവന്നു ഫീനെഹാസിനെ പ്രസവിച്ചു; ഇവർ കുലം കുലമായി ലേവ്യകുടുംബത്തലവന്മാർ ആകുന്നു.

These are that Aaron and Moses, to whom the LORD said, Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their armies.നിങ്ങൾ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളെ ഗണം ഗണമായി മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിപ്പിൻ എന്നു യഹോവ കല്പിച്ച അഹരോനും മോശെയും ഇവർ തന്നേ.

These are they which spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the children of Israel from Egypt: these are that Moses and Aaron.യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളെ മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിപ്പാൻ മിസ്രയീംരാജാവായ ഫറവോനോടു സംസാരിച്ചവർ ഈ മോശെയും അഹരോനും തന്നേ.

And it came to pass on the day when the LORD spoke unto Moses in the land of Egypt,യഹോവ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുവെച്ചു മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത നാളിൽ: ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു;

That the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying, I am the LORD: speak you unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say unto you.ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു കല്പിക്കുന്നതൊക്കെയും നീ മിസ്രയീംരാജാവായ ഫറവോനോടു പറയേണം എന്നു യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചു.

And Moses said before the LORD, Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh hearken unto me?അതിന്നു മോശെ: ഞാൻ വാഗ്വൈവഭവമില്ലാത്തവൻ; ഫറവോൻ എന്റെ വാക്കു എങ്ങനെ കേൾക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ പറഞ്ഞു.
