Isaiah 22

The burden of the valley of vision. What disturbs you now, that you are wholly gone up to the housetops?ദർശനത്താഴ്വരയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പ്രവാചകം: നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും വീടുകളുടെ മുകളിൽ കയറേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങൾക്കു എന്തു ഭവിച്ചു?

You that are full of stirs, a tumultuous city, joyous city: your slain men are not slain with the sword, nor dead in battle.അയ്യോ, കോലാഹലം നിറഞ്ഞും ആരവപൂർണ്ണമായും ഇരിക്കുന്ന പട്ടണമേ! ഉല്ലസിതനഗരമേ! നിന്റെ ഹതന്മാർ വാളാൽ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടവരല്ല, പടയിൽ പട്ടുപോയവരും അല്ല.

All your rulers are fled together, they are bound by the archers: all that are found in you are bound together, which have fled from far.നിന്റെ അധിപതിമാർ എല്ലാവരും ഒരുപോലെ ഓടിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർ വില്ലില്ലാത്തവരായി ബന്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്നിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നവരൊക്കെയും ദൂരത്തു ഓടിപ്പോയിട്ടും ഒരുപോലെ ബദ്ധരായിരിക്കുന്നു.

Therefore said I, Look away from me; I will weep bitterly, labour not to comfort me, because of the spoiling of the daughter of my people.അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞതു: എന്നെ നോക്കരുതു; ഞാൻ കൈപ്പോടെ കരയട്ടെ; എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നാശത്തെച്ചൊല്ലി എന്നെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിപ്പാൻ ബദ്ധപ്പെടരുതു.

For it is a day of trouble, and of treading down, and of perplexity by the Lord GOD of hosts in the valley of vision, breaking down the walls, and of crying to the mountains.സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിങ്കൽനിന്നു ദർശനത്താഴ്വരയിൽ പരാഭവവും സംഹാരവും പരിഭ്രമവുമുള്ളോരു നാൾ വരുന്നു; മതിലുകളെ ഇടിച്ചുകളയുന്നതും മലകളോടു നിലവിളിക്കുന്നതും ആയ നാൾ തന്നേ.

And Elam bare the quiver with chariots of men and horsemen, and Kir uncovered the shield.ഏലാം, കാലാളും കുതിരപ്പടയും ഉള്ള സൈന്യത്തോടുകൂടെ ആവനാഴിക എടുക്കയും കീർപരിചയുടെ ഉറനീക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.

And it shall come to pass, that your best valleys shall be full of chariots, and the horsemen shall set themselves in array at the gate.അങ്ങനെ നിന്റെ മനോഹരമായ താഴ്വരകൾ രഥങ്ങൾകൊണ്ടു നിറയും; കുതിരപ്പട വാതിൽക്കൽ അണിനിരത്തും.

And he discovered the covering of Judah, and you did look in that day to the armour of the house of the forest.അവൻ യെഹൂദയുടെ മൂടുപടം നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു; അന്നു നിങ്ങൾ വനഗൃഹത്തിലെ ആയുധവർഗ്ഗത്തെ നോക്കി,

All of you have seen also the breaches of the city of David, that they are many: and all of you gathered together the waters of the lower pool.ദാവീദിൻ നഗരത്തിന്റെ ഇടിവുകൾ അനവധിയെന്നു കണ്ടു; താഴത്തെ കുളത്തിലെ വെള്ളം കെട്ടി നിർത്തി,

And all of you have numbered the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses have all of you broken down to fortify the wall.യെരൂശലേമിലെ വീടുകൾ എണ്ണി, മതിൽ ഉറപ്പിപ്പാൻ വീടുകളെ പൊളിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

All of you made also a ditch between the two walls for the water of the old pool: but all of you have not looked unto the maker thereof, neither had respect unto him that fashioned it long ago.പഴയ കുളത്തിലെ വെള്ളം സൂക്ഷിപ്പാൻ രണ്ടു മതിലുകളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ ഒരു ജലാശയം ഉണ്ടാക്കി; എങ്കിലും അതു വരുത്തിയവങ്കലേക്കു നിങ്ങൾ തിരിഞ്ഞില്ല, പണ്ടു പണ്ടേ അതു നിരൂപിച്ചവനെ ഓർത്തതുമില്ല.

And in that day did the Lord GOD of hosts call to weeping, and to mourning, and to baldness, and to girding with sackcloth:അന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു കരച്ചലിന്നും വിലാപത്തിന്നും മൊട്ടയടിക്കുന്നതിന്നും

And behold joy and gladness, slaying oxen, and killing sheep, eating flesh, and drinking wine: let us eat and drink; in order to morrow we shall die.രട്ടുടുക്കുന്നതിന്നും വിളിച്ചപ്പോൾ ആനന്ദവും സന്തോഷവും കാള അറുക്കുക, ആടറുക്കുക, ഇറച്ചിതിന്നുക, വീഞ്ഞു കുടിക്ക! നാം തിന്നുക, കുടിക്ക; നാളെ മരിക്കുമല്ലോ എന്നിങ്ങനെ ആയിരുന്നു.

And it was revealed in mine ears by the LORD of hosts, Surely this iniquity shall not be purged from you till all of you die, says the Lord GOD of hosts.സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ എനിക്കു വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിത്തന്നതു: നിങ്ങൾ മരിക്കുംവരെ ഈ അകൃത്യം നിങ്ങൾക്കു മോചിക്കപ്പെടുകയില്ല എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

Thus says the Lord GOD of hosts, Go, get you unto this treasurer, even unto Shebna, which is over the house, and say,സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം കല്പിക്കുന്നു: നീ ചെന്നു ഭണ്ഡാരപതിയും രാജധാനിവിചാരകനുമായ ശെബ്നെയെ കണ്ടു പറയേണ്ടതു;

What have you here? and whom have you here, that you have hewed you out a tomb here, as he that hews him out a tomb on high, and that graves an habitation for himself in a rock?നീ എന്താകന്നു ഈ ചെയ്യുന്നതു? നിനക്കു ഇവിടെ ആരുള്ളു? ഇവിടെ നീ കല്ലറ വെട്ടിക്കുന്നതു ആക്കായിട്ടു? ഉയർന്നോരു സ്ഥലത്തു അവൻ തനിക്കു ഒരു കല്ലറ വെട്ടിക്കുന്നു; പാറയിൽ തനിക്കു ഒരു പാർപ്പിടം കൊത്തിയുണ്ടാക്കുന്നു.

Behold, the LORD will carry you away with a mighty captivity, and will surely cover you.എടോ, നിന്നെ യഹോവ തൂക്കിയെടുത്തു ചുഴറ്റി എറിഞ്ഞുകളയും.

¹⁸

He will surely violently turn and toss you like a ball into a large country: there shall you die, and there the chariots of your glory shall be the shame of your lord's house.അവൻ നിന്നെ ഒരു പന്തുപോലെ വിശാലമായോരു ദേശത്തിലേക്കു ഉരുട്ടിക്കളയും; നിന്റെ യജമാനന്റെ ഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ ലജ്ജയായുള്ളോവേ, അവിടെ നീ മരിക്കും; നിന്റെ മഹത്വമുള്ള രഥങ്ങളും അവിടെയാകും.

And I will drive you from your station, and from your state shall he pull you down.ഞാൻ നിന്നെ നിന്റെ ഉദ്യോഗത്തിൽനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയും; നിന്റെ സ്ഥാനത്തുനിന്നു അവൻ നിന്നെ പറിച്ചുകളയും.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah:അന്നാളിൽ ഞാൻ ഹിൽക്കീയാവിന്റെ മകനായി എന്റെ ദാസനായ എല്യാക്കീമിനെ വിളിക്കും.

²¹

And I will clothe him with your robe, and strengthen him with your girdle, and I will commit your government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.അവനെ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ അങ്കി ധരിപ്പിക്കും; നിന്റെ കച്ചകൊണ്ടു അവനെ അര കെട്ടും; നിന്റെ അധികാരം ഞാൻ അവന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കും; അവൻ യെരൂശലേം നിവാസികൾക്കും യെഹൂദാഗൃഹത്തിന്നും ഒരു അപ്പനായിരിക്കും.

And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.ഞാൻ ദാവീദ് ഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ താക്കോൽ അവന്റെ തോളിൽ വെക്കും; അവൻ തുറന്നാൽ ആരും അടെക്കുകയില്ല; അവൻ അടെച്ചാൽ ആരും തുറക്കുകയുമില്ല.

And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father's house.ഉറപ്പുള്ള സ്ഥലത്തു ഒരു ആണിപോലെ ഞാൻ അവനെ തറെക്കും; അവൻ തന്റെ പിതൃഭവനത്തിന്നു മഹത്വമുള്ളോരു സിംഹാസനം ആയിരിക്കും.

And they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father's house, the offspring and the issue, all vessels of small quantity, from the vessels of cups, even to all the vessels of flagons.അവർ അവന്റെമേൽ അവന്റെ പിതൃഭവനത്തിന്റെ സകലമഹത്വത്തെയും സന്തതിയെയും പ്രജയെയും കിണ്ണംമുതൽ തുരുത്തിവരെയുള്ള സകലവിധ ചെറു പാത്രങ്ങളെയും തൂക്കിയിടും.

In that day, says the LORD of hosts, shall the nail that is fastened in the sure place be removed, and be cut down, and fall; and the burden that was upon it shall be cut off: for the LORD has spoken it.അന്നാളിൽ ഉറപ്പുള്ള സ്ഥലത്തു തറെച്ചിരുന്ന ആണി ഇളകിപ്പോകും എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; അതു മുറിഞ്ഞുവീഴുകയും അതിന്മേലുള്ള ഭാരം തകർന്നുപോകയും ചെയ്യും; യഹോവയല്ലോ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതു.

Isaiah 23

The burden of Tyre. Wail, all of you ships of Tarshish; for it is laid waste, so that there is no house, no entering in: from the land of Chittim it is revealed to them.സോരിനെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പ്രവാചകം: തർശീശ് കപ്പലുകളേ, മുറയിടുവിൻ; ഒരു വീടും ശേഷിക്കാതവണ്ണവും പ്രവേശനം ഇല്ലാതവണ്ണവും അതു ശൂന്യമായിരിക്കുന്നു; കിത്തീംദേശത്തുവെച്ചു അവർക്കു അറിവു കിട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

Be still, all of you inhabitants of the isle; you whom the merchants of Zidon, that pass over the sea, have replenished.സമുദ്രതീരനിവാസികളേ, മിണ്ടാതെയിരിപ്പിൻ; സമുദ്രസഞ്ചാരം ചെയ്യുന്ന സീദോന്യവർത്തകന്മാർ നിന്നെ പരിപൂർണ്ണയാക്കിയല്ലോ.

And by great waters the seed of Sihor, the harvest of the river, is her revenue; and she is a merchant of nations.വലിയ വെള്ളത്തിന്മേൽ സീഹോർപ്രദേശത്തെ കൃഷിയും നീലനദിയിങ്കലെ കൊയ്ത്തും അതിന്നു ആദായമായ്‍വന്നു; അതു ജാതികളുടെ ചന്ത ആയിരുന്നു.

Be you ashamed, O Zidon: for the sea has spoken, even the strength of the sea, saying, I travail not, nor bring forth children, neither do I nourish up young men, nor bring up virgins.സീദോനേ, ലജ്ജിച്ചുകൊൾക; എനിക്കു നോവു കിട്ടീട്ടില്ല, ഞാൻ പ്രസവിച്ചിട്ടില്ല, ബാലന്മാരെ പോറ്റീട്ടില്ല, കന്യകമാരെ വളർത്തീട്ടുമില്ല എന്നു സമുദ്രം, സമുദ്രദുർഗ്ഗം തന്നേ, പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

As at the report concerning Egypt, so shall they be sorely pained at the report of Tyre.സോരിന്റെ വർത്തമാനം മിസ്രയീമിൽ എത്തുമ്പോൾ അവർ ആ വർത്തമാനത്താൽ ഏറ്റവും വ്യസനിക്കും.

Pass all of you over to Tarshish; wail, all of you inhabitants of the isle.തർശീശിലേക്കു കടന്നുചെല്ലുവിൻ; സമുദ്രതീരനിവാസികളേ, മുറയിടുവിൻ.

Is this your joyous city, whose antiquity is of ancient days? her own feet shall carry her far off to sojourn.പുരാതനമായി പണ്ടേയുള്ള നിങ്ങളുടെ ഉല്ലസിതനഗരം ഇതാകുന്നുവോ? സ്വന്തകാൽ അതിനെ ദൂരത്തു പ്രവാസം ചെയ്‍വാൻ വഹിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോകും.

Who has taken this counsel against Tyre, the crowning city, whose merchants are princes, whose traffickers are the honourable of the earth?കിരീടം നല്കുന്നതും വർത്തകന്മാർ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും വ്യാപാരികൾ ഭൂമിയിലെ മഹാന്മാരുമായുള്ളതുമായ സോരിനെക്കുറിച്ചു അതു നിർണ്ണയിച്ചതാർ?

The LORD of hosts has purposed it, to stain the pride of all glory, and to bring into contempt all the honourable of the earth.സകല മഹത്വത്തിന്റെയും ഗർവ്വത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലമഹാന്മാരെയും അപമാനിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ അതു നിർണ്ണയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

Pass through your land as a river, O daughter of Tarshish: there is no more strength.തർശീശ് പുത്രിയേ, ഇനി ബന്ധനമില്ലായ്കയാൽ നീ നീലനദിപോലെ നിന്റെ ദേശത്തെ കവിഞ്ഞൊഴുകുക.

He stretched out his hand over the sea, he shook the kingdoms: the LORD has given a commandment against the merchant city, to destroy the strong holds thereof.അവൻ സമുദ്രത്തിന്മേൽ കൈ നീട്ടി, രാജ്യങ്ങളെ നടുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവ കനാനെക്കുറിച്ചു അതിന്റെ കോട്ടകളെ നശിപ്പിപ്പാൻ കല്പനകൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു

And he said, You shall no more rejoice, O you oppressed virgin, daughter of Zidon: arise, pass over to Chittim; there also shall you have no rest.ബലാൽക്കാരം അനുഭവിച്ച കന്യകയായ സീദോൻ പുത്രീ, ഇനി നീ ഉല്ലസിക്കയില്ല; എഴുന്നേറ്റു കിത്തീമിലേക്കു കടന്നുപോക; അവിടെയും നിനക്കു സ്വസ്ഥത ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല എന്നു അവൻ കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

Behold the land of the Chaldeans; this people was not, till the Assyrian founded it for them that dwell in the wilderness: they set up the towers thereof, they raised up the palaces thereof; and he brought it to ruin.ഇതാ, കല്ദയരുടെ ദേശം! ഈ ജനം ഇല്ലാതെയായി; അശ്ശൂർ അതിനെ മരുമൃഗങ്ങൾക്കായി നിയമിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു; അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ കാവൽമാളികകളെ പണിതു അതിലെ അരമനകളെ ഇടിച്ചു, അതിനെ ശൂന്യകൂമ്പാരമാക്കിത്തീർത്തു.

Wail, all of you ships of Tarshish: for your strength is laid waste.തർശീശ് കപ്പലുകളേ, മുറയിടുവിൻ; നിങ്ങളുടെ കോട്ട ശൂന്യമായിപ്പോയല്ലോ.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that Tyre shall be forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one king: after the end of seventy years shall Tyre sing as an harlot.അന്നാളിൽ സോർ, ഒരു രാജാവിന്റെ കാലത്തിന്നൊത്ത എഴുപതു സംവത്സരത്തേക്കു മറന്നുകിടക്കും; എഴുപതു സംവത്സരം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു സോരിന്നു വേശ്യയുടെ പാട്ടുപോലെ സംഭവിക്കും:

Take an harp, go about the city, you harlot that have been forgotten; make sweet melody, sing many songs, that you may be remembered.മറന്നു കിടന്നിരുന്ന വേശ്യയേ, വീണയെടുത്തു പട്ടണത്തിൽ ചുറ്റിനടക്ക; നിന്നെ ഓർമ്മ വരേണ്ടതിന്നു നല്ല രാഗം മീട്ടി വളരെ പാട്ടു പാടുക.

And it shall come to pass after the end of seventy years, that the LORD will visit Tyre, and she shall turn to her hire, and shall commit fornication with all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth.എഴുപതു സംവത്സരം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു യഹോവ സോരിനെ സന്ദർശിക്കും; അപ്പോൾ അതു തന്റെ ആദായത്തിന്നായി തിരിഞ്ഞു, ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലലോകരാജ്യങ്ങളോടും വേശ്യാവൃത്തി ചെയ്യും.

And her merchandise and her hire shall be holiness to the LORD: it shall not be treasured nor laid up; for her merchandise shall be for them that dwell before the LORD, to eat sufficiently, and for durable clothing.എന്നാൽ അതിന്റെ വ്യാപാരവും ആദായവും യഹോവെക്കു വിശുദ്ധം ആയിരിക്കും; അതിനെ നിക്ഷേപിക്കയോ സ്വരൂപിച്ചുവെക്കയോ ചെയ്കയില്ല; അതിന്റെ വ്യാപാരം യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ വസിക്കുന്നവർക്കു മതിയായ ഭക്ഷണത്തിന്നും മോടിയുള്ള ഉടുപ്പിനുമായി ഉതകും.

Isaiah 24

Behold, the LORD makes the earth empty, and makes it waste, and turns it upside down, and scatters abroad the inhabitants thereof.യഹോവ ഭൂമിയെ നിർജ്ജനവും ശൂന്യവും ആക്കി കീഴ്മേൽ മറിക്കയും അതിലെ നിവാസികളെ ചിതറിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of interest, so with the giver of interest to him.ജനത്തിന്നും പുരോഹിതന്നും, ദാസന്നും യജമാനന്നും, ദാസിക്കും, യജമാനത്തിക്കും, കൊള്ളുന്നവന്നും വില്ക്കുന്നവന്നും, കടം കൊടുക്കുന്നവന്നും കടം വാങ്ങുന്നവന്നും, പലിശ വാങ്ങുന്നവന്നും പലിശ കൊടുക്കുന്നവന്നും ഒരുപോലെ ഭവിക്കും.

The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD has spoken this word.ഭൂമി അശേഷം നിർജ്ജനമായും കവർച്ചയായും പോകും; യഹോവയല്ലോ ഈ വചനം അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതു.

The earth mourns and fades away, the world languishes and fades away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.ഭൂമി ദുഃഖിച്ചു വാടിപ്പോകുന്നു; ഭൂതലം ക്ഷയിച്ചു വാടിപ്പോകുന്നു;

The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.ഭൂമിയിലെ ഉന്നതന്മാർ ക്ഷീണിച്ചുപോകുന്നു. ഭൂമി അതിലെ നിവാസികളാൽ മലിനമായിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർ പ്രാമണങ്ങളെ ലംഘിച്ചു ചട്ടത്തെ മറിച്ചു നിത്യനിയമത്തിന്നു ഭംഗം വരുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

Therefore has the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.അതുകൊണ്ടു ഭൂമി ശാപഗ്രസ്തമായി അതിൽ പാർക്കുന്നവർ ശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഭൂവാസികൾ ദഹിച്ചുപോയി ചുരുക്കംപേർ മാത്രം ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

The new wine mourns, the vine languishes, all the merry hearted do sigh.പുതുവീഞ്ഞു ദുഃഖിക്കുന്നു; മുന്തിരിവള്ളി വാടുന്നു; സന്തുഷ്ടമാനസന്മാരൊക്കെയും നെടുവീർപ്പിടുന്നു.

The delight of timbrels ceases, the noise of them that rejoice ends, the joy of the harp ceases.തപ്പുകളുടെ ആനന്ദം നിന്നുപോകുന്നു; ഉല്ലസിക്കുന്നവരുടെ ഘോഷം തീർന്നുപോകുന്നു; കിന്നരത്തിന്റെ ആനന്ദം ഇല്ലാതെയാകുന്നു.

They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it.അവർ പാട്ടുപാടിക്കൊണ്ടു വീഞ്ഞു കുടിക്കയില്ല; മദ്യംകുടിക്കുന്നവർക്കു അതു കൈപ്പായിരിക്കും.

The city of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up, that no man may come in.ശൂന്യപട്ടണം ഇടിഞ്ഞുകിടക്കുന്നു; ആർക്കും കടന്നു കൂടാതവണ്ണം എല്ലാവീടും അടഞ്ഞുപോയിരിക്കുന്നു.

There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the delight of the land is gone.വീഞ്ഞില്ലായ്കയാൽ വീഥികളിൽ നിലവിളികേൾക്കുന്നു; സന്തോഷം ഒക്കെ ഇരുണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ദേശത്തിലെ ആനന്ദം പൊയ്പോയിരിക്കുന്നു.

In the city is left desolation, and the gate is smitten with destruction.പട്ടണത്തിൽ ശൂന്യത മാത്രം ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; വാതിൽ തകർന്നു നാശമായി കിടക്കുന്നു.

When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done.ഒലിവു തല്ലുംപോലെയും മുന്തിരിപ്പഴം പറിച്ചു തീർന്നിട്ടു കാലാ പെറുക്കും പോലെയും ഭൂമിയുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ സംഭവിക്കുന്നു.

They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the LORD, they shall cry aloud from the sea.അവർ ഉച്ചത്തിൽ ആർക്കും; യഹോവയുടെ മഹിമനിമിത്തം അവർ സമുദ്രത്തിൽനിന്നു ഉറക്കെ ആർക്കും.

Wherefore glorify all of you the LORD in the fires, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the sea.അതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങൾ കിഴക്കു യഹോവയെയും സമുദ്രതീരങ്ങളിൽ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തെയും മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തുവിൻ.

From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously.നീതിമാന്നു മഹത്വം എന്നിങ്ങനെ ഭൂമിയുടെ അറ്റത്തുനിന്നു കീർത്തനം പാടുന്നതു ഞങ്ങൾ കേട്ടു; ഞാനോ: എനിക്കു ക്ഷയം, എനിക്കു ക്ഷയം, എനിക്കു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. ദ്രോഹികൾ ദ്രോഹം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; ദ്രോഹികൾ മഹാദ്രോഹം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon you, O inhabitant of the earth.ഭൂവാസിയേ, പേടിയും കുഴിയും കണിയും നിനക്കു നേരിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

And it shall come to pass, that he who flees from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that comes up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.പേടി കേട്ടു ഓടിപ്പോകുന്നവൻ കുഴിയിൽ വീഴും; കുഴിയിൽനിന്നു കയറുന്നവൻ കണിയിൽ അകപ്പെടും; ഉയരത്തിലെ കിളിവാതിലുകൾ തുറന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; ഭൂമിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങൾ കുലുങ്ങുന്നു.

The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.ഭൂമി പൊടുപൊടെ പൊട്ടുന്നു; ഭൂമി കിറുകിറെ കീറുന്നു; ഭൂമി കിടുകിട കിടുങ്ങുന്നു.

The earth shall reel back and forth like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.ഭൂമി മത്തനെപ്പോലെ ചാഞ്ചാടുന്നു; കാവൽമാടംപോലെ ആടുന്നു; അതിന്റെ അകൃത്യം അതിന്മേൽ ഭാരമായിരിക്കുന്നു; അതു വീഴും, എഴുന്നേൽക്കയുമില്ല.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.അന്നാളിൽ യഹോവ ഉയരത്തിൽ ഉന്നതന്മാരുടെ സൈന്യത്തെയും ഭൂമിയിൽ ഭൂപാലന്മാരെയും സന്ദർശിക്കും.

And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.കുണ്ടറയിൽ വിലങ്ങുകാരെപ്പോലെ അവരെ ഒന്നിച്ചു കൂട്ടി കാരാഗൃഹത്തിൽ അടെക്കയും ഏറിയനാൾ കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു അവരെ സന്ദർശിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ സീയോൻ പർവ്വതത്തിലും യെരൂശലേമിലും വാഴുകയാലും അവന്റെ മൂപ്പന്മാരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ തേജസ്സുണ്ടാകയാലും ചന്ദ്രൻ നാണിക്കയും സൂര്യൻ ലജ്ജിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.
