Micah 6

Hear all of you now what the LORD says; Arise, contend you before the mountains, and let the hills hear your voice.യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നതു കേൾപ്പിൻ; നീ എഴുന്നേറ്റു പർവ്വതങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പാകെ വ്യവഹരിക്ക; കുന്നുകൾ നിന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കട്ടെ;

Hear all of you, O mountains, the LORD's controversy, and all of you strong foundations of the earth: for the LORD has a controversy with his people, and he will plead with Israel.പർവ്വതങ്ങളും ഭൂമിയുടെ സ്ഥിരമായ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങളുമായുള്ളോവേ, യഹോവയുടെ വ്യവഹാരം കേൾപ്പിൻ! യഹോവെക്കു തന്റെ ജനത്തോടു ഒരു വ്യവഹാരം ഉണ്ടു; അവൻ യിസ്രായേലിനോടു വാദിക്കും.

O my people, what have I done unto you? and wherein have I wearied you? testify against me.എന്റെ ജനമേ, ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു എന്തു ചെയ്തു? ഏതൊന്നിനാൽ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ മുഷിപ്പിച്ചു? എന്റെ നേരെ സാക്ഷീകരിക്ക.

For I brought you up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of servants; and I sent before you Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.ഞാൻ നിന്നെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു, അടിമവീട്ടിൽനിന്നു നിന്നെ വീണ്ടെടുത്തു, മോശെയെയും അഹരോനെയും മിർയ്യാമിനെയും നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ അയച്ചു.

O my people, remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim unto Gilgal; that all of you may know the righteousness of the LORD.എന്റെ ജനമേ നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവയുടെ നീതിപ്രവൃത്തികളെ അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു മോവാബ് രാജാവായ ബാലാക്ക് ആലോചിച്ചതും ബെയോരിന്റെ മകനായ ബിലെയാം ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതും ശിത്തീംമുതൽ ഗില്ഗാൽവരെ സംഭവിച്ചതും ഓർക്കുക.

Wherewith shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old?എന്തൊന്നുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ചെന്നു, അത്യുന്നതദൈവത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ കുമ്പിടേണ്ടു? ഞാൻ ഹോമയാഗങ്ങളോടും ഒരു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ള കാളക്കിടാക്കളോടും കൂടെ അവന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ചെല്ലേണമോ?

Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?ആയിരം ആയിരം ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനിലും പതിനായിരം പതിനായിരം തൈലനദിയിലും യഹോവ പ്രസാദിക്കുമോ? എന്റെ അതിക്രമത്തിന്നു വേണ്ടി ഞാൻ എന്റെ ആദ്യജാതനെയും ഞാൻ ചെയ്ത പാപത്തിന്നു വേണ്ടി എന്റെ ഉദരഫലത്തെയും കൊടുക്കേണമോ?

He has showed you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?മനുഷ്യാ, നല്ലതു എന്തെന്നു അവൻ നിനക്കു കാണിച്ചു തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു: ന്യായം പ്രവർത്തിപ്പാനും ദയാതല്പരനായിരിപ്പാനും നിന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ താഴ്മയോടെ നടപ്പാനും അല്ലാതെ എന്താകുന്നു യഹോവ നിന്നോടു ചോദിക്കുന്നതു?

The LORD's voice cries unto the city, and the man of wisdom shall see your name: hear all of you the rod, and who has appointed it.കേട്ടോ യഹോവ പട്ടണത്തോടു വിളിച്ചു പറയുന്നതു; നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നതു ജ്ഞാനം ആകുന്നു; വടിയെയും അതിനെ നിയമിച്ചവനെയും ശ്രദ്ധിപ്പിൻ.

Are there yet the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure that is abominable?ദുഷ്ടന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ ഇനിയും അനീതിയുള്ള നിക്ഷേപങ്ങളും ശാപകരമായ കള്ളയളവും ഉണ്ടോ?

Shall I count them pure with the wicked balances, and with the bag of deceitful weights?കള്ളത്തുലാസ്സും കള്ളപ്പടികൾ ഇട്ട സഞ്ചിയുമുള്ളവനെ ഞാൻ നിർമ്മലനായി എണ്ണുമോ?

For the rich men thereof are full of violence, and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth.അതിലെ ധനവാന്മാർ സാഹസപൂർണ്ണന്മാർ ആകുന്നു; അതിന്റെ നിവാസികൾ വ്യാജം സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ വായിൽ അവരുടെ നാവു ചതിവുള്ളതു തന്നേ;

Therefore also will I make you sick in smiting you, in making you desolate because of your sins.ആകയാൽ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ കഠിനമായി ദണ്ഡിപ്പിക്കും; നിന്റെ പാപങ്ങൾനിമിത്തം നിന്നെ ശൂന്യമാക്കും.

You shall eat, but not be satisfied; and your casting down shall be in the midst of you; and you shall take hold, but shall not deliver; and that which you deliver will I give up to the sword.നീ ഭക്ഷിക്കും; തൃപ്തി വരികയില്ല, വിശപ്പു അടങ്ങുകയുമില്ല; നീ നീക്കിവെക്കും; ഒന്നും സ്വരൂപിക്കയില്ലതാനും; നീ സ്വരൂപിക്കുന്നതു ഞാൻ വാളിന്നു ഏല്പിച്ചുകൊടുക്കും.

You shall sow, but you shall not reap; you shall tread the olives, but you shall not anoint you with oil; and sweet wine, but shall not drink wine.നീ വിതെക്കും, കൊയ്കയില്ല നീ ഒലീവുകായ് ചവിട്ടും, എണ്ണ പൂശുകയില്ല; മുന്തിരിപ്പഴം ചവിട്ടും, വീഞ്ഞു കുടിക്കയില്ലതാനും.

For the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and all of you walk in their counsels; that I should make you a desolation, and the inhabitants thereof an hissing: therefore all of you shall bear the reproach of my people.ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ശൂന്യവും നിന്റെ നിവാസികളെ പരിഹാസവിഷയവും ആക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നിന്ദവഹിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും ഒമ്രിയുടെ ചട്ടങ്ങളും ആഹാബ്ഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ സകലപ്രവൃത്തികളും പ്രമാണമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ ആലോചനകളെ നിങ്ങൾ അനുസരിച്ചുനടക്കുന്നു.

Micah 7

Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the gleaning of grapes of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the first-fruits fruit.എനിക്കു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം; പഴം പറിച്ച ശേഷമെന്നപോലെയും മുന്തിരിപ്പഴം പറിച്ചശേഷം കാലാ പെറുക്കുന്നതുപോലെയും ഞാൻ ആയല്ലോ! തിന്മാൻ ഒരു മുന്തിരിക്കുലയും ഇല്ല; ഞാൻ കൊതിക്കുന്ന അത്തിയുടെ തലപ്പഴവുമില്ല.

The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.ഭക്തിമാൻ ഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നു നശിച്ചുപോയി, മനുഷ്യരുടെ ഇടയിൽ നേരുള്ളവൻ ആരുമില്ല; അവരൊക്കെയും രക്തത്തിന്നായി പതിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ സഹോദരനെ വല വെച്ചു പിടിപ്പാൻ നോക്കുന്നു.

That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asks, and the judge asks for a reward; and the great man, he utters his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.ജാഗ്രതയോടെ ദോഷം പ്രവർത്തിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവരുടെ കൈ അതിലേക്കു നീണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; പ്രഭു പ്രതിഫലം ചോദിക്കുന്നു; ന്യായാധിപതി പ്രതിഫലം വാങ്ങി ന്യായം വിധിക്കുന്നു; മഹാൻ തന്റെ മനസ്സിലെ ദുരാഗ്രഹം പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നു; ഇങ്ങനെ അവർ പിരിമുറുക്കുന്നു.

The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of your watchmen and your visitation comes; now shall be their perplexity.അവരിൽ ഉത്തമൻ മുൾപടർപ്പുപോലെ; നേരുള്ളവൻ മുൾവേലിയെക്കാൾ വല്ലാത്തവൻ തന്നേ; നിന്റെ ദർശകന്മാർ പറഞ്ഞ ദിവസം, നിന്റെ സന്ദർശനദിവസം തന്നേ, വരുന്നു; ഇപ്പോൾ അവരുടെ പരിഭ്രമം വന്നുഭവിക്കും.

Trust all of you not in a friend, put all of you not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of your mouth from her that lies in your bosom.കൂട്ടുകാരനെ വിശ്വസിക്കരുതു; സ്നേഹിതനിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കരുതു; നിന്റെ മാർവ്വിടത്തു ശയിക്കുന്നവളോടു പറയാതവണ്ണം നിന്റെ വായുടെ കതകു കാത്തുകൊൾക.

For the son dishonours the father, the daughter rises up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house.മകൻ അപ്പനെ നിന്ദിക്കുന്നു; മകൾ അമ്മയോടും മരുമകൾ അമ്മാവിയമ്മയോടും എതിർത്തുനില്ക്കുന്നു; മനുഷ്യന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ അവന്റെ വിട്ടുകാർ തന്നേ.

Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.ഞാനോ യഹോവയിങ്കലേക്കു നോക്കും; എന്റെ രക്ഷയുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്നായി കാത്തിരിക്കും; എന്റെ ദൈവം എന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥന കേൾക്കും.

Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.എന്റെ ശത്രുവായവളേ, എന്നെച്ചൊല്ലി സന്തോഷിക്കരുതു; വീണു എങ്കിലും ഞാൻ വീണ്ടും എഴുന്നേല്ക്കും; ഞാൻ ഇരുട്ടത്തു ഇരുന്നാലും യഹോവ എനിക്കു വെളിച്ചമായിരിക്കുന്നു.

I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness.യഹോവ എന്റെ വ്യവഹാരം നടത്തി എനിക്കു ന്യായം പാലിച്ചുതരുവോളം ഞാൻ അവന്റെ ക്രോധം വഹിക്കും; ഞാൻ അവനോടു പാപം ചെയ്തുവല്ലോ; അവൻ എന്നെ വെളിച്ചത്തിലേക്കു പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കയും ഞാൻ അവന്റെ നീതി കണ്ടു സന്തോഷിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

Then she that is mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her which said unto me, Where is the LORD your God? mine eyes shall behold her: now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets.എന്റെ ശത്രു അതു കാണും; നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എവിടെ എന്നു എന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞവളെ ലജ്ജ മൂടും; എന്റെ കണ്ണു അവളെ കണ്ടു രസിക്കും; അന്നു അവളെ വീഥികളിലെ ചെളിപോലെ ചവിട്ടിക്കളയും.

In the day that your walls are to be built, in that day shall the decree be far removed.നിന്റെ മതിലുകൾ പണിവാനുള്ള നാൾവരുന്നു: അന്നാളിൽ നിന്റെ അതിർ അകന്നുപോകും.

In that day also he shall come even to you from Assyria, and from the fortified cities, and from the fortress even to the river, and from sea to sea, and from mountain to mountain.അന്നാളിൽ അശ്ശൂരിൽനിന്നും മിസ്രയീംപട്ടണങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും മിസ്രയീം മുതൽ നദിവരെയും സമുദ്രംമുതൽ സമുദ്രംവരെയും പർവ്വതംമുതൽ പർവ്വതംവരെയും അവർ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരും.

Notwithstanding the land shall be desolate because of them that dwell therein, for the fruit of their doings.എന്നാൽ ഭൂമി നിവാസികൾനിമിത്തവും അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളുടെ ഫലം ഹേതുവായും ശൂന്യമായ്തീരും.

Feed your people with your rod, the flock of yours heritage, which dwell solitarily in the wood, in the midst of Carmel: let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.കർമ്മേലിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യേ കാട്ടിൽ തനിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതും നിന്റെ അവകാശവുമായി നിന്റെ ജനമായ ആട്ടിൻ കൂട്ടത്തെ നിന്റെ കോൽകൊണ്ടു മേയിക്കേണമേ; പുരാതനകാലത്തു എന്നപോലെ അവർ ബാശാനിലും ഗിലെയാദിലും മേഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കട്ടെ.

According to the days of your coming out of the land of Egypt will I show unto him marvellous things.നീ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ട കാലത്തെന്നപോലെ ഞാൻ അവനെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങൾ കാണിക്കും.

The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might: they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf.ജാതികൾ കണ്ടിട്ടു തങ്ങളുടെ സകലവീര്യത്തിലും ലജ്ജിക്കും; അവർ വായ്മേൽ കൈ വെക്കയും ചെകിടരായ്തീരുകയും ചെയ്യും.

They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be afraid of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of you.അവർ പാമ്പുപോലെ പൊടിനക്കും; നിലത്തെ ഇഴജാതിപോലെ തങ്ങളുടെ ഗുഹകളിൽനിന്നു വിറെച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു വരും; അവർ പേടിച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ അടുക്കൽ വരികയും നിന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യും.

Who is a God like unto you, that pardons iniquity, and passes by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retains not his anger for ever, because he delights in mercy.അകൃത്യം ക്ഷമിക്കയും തന്റെ അവകാശത്തിൽ ശേഷിപ്പുള്ളവരോടു അതിക്രമം മോചിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്ന നിന്നോടു സമനായ ദൈവം ആരുള്ളു? അവൻ എന്നേക്കും കോപം വെച്ചുകൊള്ളുന്നില്ല; ദയയിലല്ലോ അവന്നു പ്രസാദമുള്ളതു.

He will return, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and you will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.അവൻ നമ്മോടു വീണ്ടും കരുണ കാണിക്കും നമ്മുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങളെ ചവിട്ടിക്കളയും; അവരുടെ പാപങ്ങളെ ഒക്കെയും നീ സമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ ആഴത്തിൽ ഇട്ടുകളയും.

You will perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which you have sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.പുരാതനകാലംമുതൽ നീ ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു സത്യം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്ന നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തത നീ യാക്കോബിനോടും നിന്റെ ദയ അബ്രാഹാമിനോടും കാണിക്കും.

Nahum 1

The burden of Nineveh. The book of the vision of Nahum the Elkoshite.നീനെവേയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പ്രവാചകം; എൽക്കോശ്യനായ നഹൂമിന്റെ ദർശനപുസ്തകം.

God is jealous, and the LORD revenges; the LORD revenges, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserves wrath for his enemies.ദൈവം തീക്ഷ്ണതയുള്ളവനും യഹോവ പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യുന്നവനും ആകുന്നു; യഹോവ പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യുന്നവനും ക്രോധപൂർണ്ണനുമാകുന്നു; യഹോവ തന്റെ വൈരികളോടു പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്കയും തന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾക്കായി കോപം സംഗ്രഹിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD has his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.യഹോവ ദീർഘക്ഷമയും മഹാശക്തിയുമുള്ളവൻ; അവൻ ഒരിക്കലും ശിക്ഷിക്കാതെ വിടുകയില്ല; യഹോവയുടെ വഴി ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റിലും കൊടുങ്കാറ്റിലും ഉണ്ടു; മേഘം അവന്റെ കാൽക്കീഴിലെ പൊടിയാകുന്നു.

He rebukes the sea, and makes it dry, and dries up all the rivers: Bashan languishes, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languishes.അവൻ സമുദ്രത്തെ ഭർത്സിച്ചു വറ്റിക്കയും സകലനദികളെയും വരട്ടിക്കളകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു; ബാശാനും കർമ്മേലും വരളുന്നു; ലെബാനോന്റെ പുഷ്പം വാടിപ്പോകുന്നു.

The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.അവന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ പർവ്വതങ്ങൾ കുലുങ്ങുന്നു; കുന്നുകൾ ഉരുകിപ്പോകുന്നു; അവന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ഭൂമി ഞെട്ടിപ്പോകുന്നു; മഹീതലവും അതിലെ സകലനിവാസികളും തന്നേ.

Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.അവന്റെ ക്രോധത്തിൻ മുമ്പിൽ ആർ നില്ക്കും? അവന്റെ ഉഗ്രകോപത്തിങ്കൽ ആർ നിവിർന്നുനില്ക്കും? അവന്റെ ക്രോധം തീപോലെ ചൊരിയുന്നു; പാറകൾ അവനാൽ പിളർന്നുപോകുന്നു.

The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knows them that trust in him.യഹോവ നല്ലവനും കഷ്ടദിവസത്തിൽ ശരണവും ആകുന്നു; തങ്കൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നവരെ അവൻ അറിയുന്നു.

But with a surpassing flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.എന്നാൽ കവിഞ്ഞൊഴുകുന്നോരു പ്രവാഹംകൊണ്ടു അവൻ അതിന്റെ സ്ഥലത്തിന്നു മുടിവു വരുത്തും; തന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ അവൻ അന്ധകാരത്തിൽ പിന്തുടരുന്നു.

What do all of you imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവെക്കു വിരോധമായി നിരൂപിക്കുന്നതെന്തു? അവൻ മുടിവു വരുത്തും; കഷ്ടത രണ്ടുപ്രാവശ്യം പൊങ്ങിവരികയില്ല.

For while they be folded together as thorns, and while they are drunken as drunkards, they shall be devoured as stubble fully dry.അവർ കൂടിപ്പിണഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന മുള്ളുപോലെ ആയാലും തങ്ങളുടെ മദ്യപാനത്തിൽ മദ്യപിച്ചിരുന്നാലും അവർ മുഴുവനും ഉണങ്ങിയ താളടിപോലെ തീക്കു ഇരയായിത്തീരും.

There is one come out of you, that imagines evil against the LORD, a wicked counsellor.യഹോവെക്കു വിരോധമായി ദോഷം നിരൂപിക്കയും നിസ്സാരത്വം ആലോചിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ നിന്നിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

Thus says the LORD; Though they be quiet, and likewise many, yet thus shall they be cut down, when he shall pass through. Though I have afflicted you, I will afflict you no more.യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: അവർ പൂർണ്ണ ശക്തന്മാരും അവ്വണ്ണം തന്നേ അനേകരും ആയിരുന്നാലും അവർ അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ഛേദിക്കപ്പെടുകയും അവൻ കഴിഞ്ഞുപോകയും ചെയ്യും. ഞാൻ നിന്നെ താഴ്ത്തി എങ്കിലും ഇനി നിന്നെ താഴ്ത്തുകയില്ല.

For now will I break his yoke from off you, and will burst your bonds in two.ഇപ്പോഴോ ഞാൻ അവന്റെ നുകം നിന്റെമേൽനിന്നു ഒടിച്ചുകളയും നിന്റെ ബന്ധനങ്ങൾ അറുത്തുകളകയും ചെയ്യും.

Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that brings good tidings, that publishes peace!
