Isaiah 55

Ho, every one that thirsts, come all of you to the waters, and he that has no money; come all of you, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.അല്ലയോ, ദാഹിക്കുന്ന ഏവരും ദ്രവ്യമില്ലാത്തവരുമായുള്ളോരേ വെള്ളത്തിന്നു വരുവിൻ‍: വന്നു വാങ്ങി തിന്നുവിൻ‍; നിങ്ങൾ വന്നു ദ്രവ്യവും വിലയും കൂടാതെ വീഞ്ഞും പാലും വാങ്ങിക്കൊൾവിൻ. ‍

Wherefore do all of you spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfies not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat all of you that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.അപ്പമല്ലാത്തതിന്നു ദ്രവ്യവും തൃപ്തിവരുത്താത്തതിന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രയത്നഫലവും ചെലവിടുന്നതെന്തിന്നു? എന്റെ വാക്കു ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചു കേട്ടു നന്മ അനുഭവിപ്പിൻ പുഷ്ടഭോജനം കഴിച്ചു മോദിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ.

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.നിങ്ങൾ ചെവി ചായിച്ചു എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുവിൻ‍; നിങ്ങൾക്കു ജീവനുണ്ടാകേണ്ടതിന്നു കേട്ടുകൊൾവിൻ‍; ദാവീദിന്റെ നിശ്ചലകൃപകൾ എന്ന ഒരു ശാശ്വത നിയമം ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു ചെയ്യും.

Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.ഞാൻ അവനെ ജാതികൾക്കു സാക്ഷിയും വംശങ്ങൾക്കു പ്രഭുവും അധിപതിയും ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

Behold, you shall call a nation that you know not, and nations that knew not you shall run unto you because of the LORD your God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he has glorified you.നീ അറിയാത്ത ഒരു ജാതിയെ നീ വിളിക്കും; നിന്നെ അറിയാത്ത ഒരു ജാതി നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവനിമിത്തവും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധൻ ‍നിമിത്തവും അവൻ നിന്നെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കയാൽ തന്നേ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ഓടിവരും.

Seek all of you the LORD while he may be found, call all of you upon him while he is near:യഹോവയെ കണ്ടെത്താകുന്ന സമയത്തു അവനെ അന്വേഷിപ്പിൻ‍; അവൻ അടുത്തിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവനെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിപ്പിൻ.

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.ദുഷ്ടൻ തന്റെ വഴിയെയും നീതികെട്ടവൻ തന്റെ വിചാരങ്ങളെയും ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു യഹോവയിങ്കലേക്കു തിരിയട്ടെ; അവൻ അവനോടു കരുണകാണിക്കും; നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിങ്കലേക്കു തിരിയട്ടെ; അവൻ ധാരാളം ക്ഷമിക്കും.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the LORD.എന്റെ വിചാരങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ വിചാരങ്ങൾ അല്ല; നിങ്ങളുടെ വഴികൾ എന്റെ വഴികളുമല്ല എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.ആകാശം ഭൂമിക്കുമീതെ ഉയർ‍ന്നിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ എന്റെ വഴികൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ വഴികളിലും എന്റെ വിചാരങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ വിചാരങ്ങളിലും ഉയർ‍ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and returns not thither, but waters the earth, and makes it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:മഴയും ഹിമവും ആകാശത്തുനിന്നു പെയ്യുകയും അവിടേക്കു മടങ്ങാതെ വിതെപ്പാൻ വിത്തും തിന്മാൻ ആഹാരവും നല്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം ഭൂമിയെ നനെച്ചു ഫലവത്താക്കി വിളയിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ

So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.എന്റെ വായിൽ നിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുന്ന എന്റെ വചനം ആയിരിക്കും; അതു വെറുതെ എന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്കു മടങ്ങിവരാതെ എനിക്കു ഇഷ്ടമുള്ളതു നിവർ‍ത്തിക്കയും ഞാൻ അയച്ച കാര്യം സാധിപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

For all of you shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.നിങ്ങൾ സന്തോഷത്തോടെ പുറപ്പെടും; സമാധാനത്തോടെ നിങ്ങളെ പറഞ്ഞയക്കും; മലകളും കുന്നുകളും നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ പൊട്ടി ആർ‍ക്കും; ദേശത്തിലെ സകല വൃക്ഷങ്ങളും കൈ കൊട്ടും.

Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.മുള്ളിന്നു പകരം സരളവൃക്ഷം മുളെക്കും; പറക്കാരെക്കു പകരം കൊഴുന്തു മുളെക്കും; അതു യഹോവെക്കു ഒരു കീർ‍ത്തിയായും ഛേദിക്കപ്പെടാത്ത ശാശ്വതമായോരു അടയാളമായും ഇരിക്കും.

Isaiah 56

Thus says the LORD, Keep all of you judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: എന്റെ രക്ഷ വരുവാനും എന്റെ നീതി വെളിപ്പെടുവാനും അടുത്തിരിക്കയാൽ ന്യായം പ്രമാണിച്ചു നീതി പ്രവർ‍ത്തിപ്പിൻ.

Blessed is the man that does this, and the son of man that lays hold on it; that keeps the sabbath from polluting it, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.ശബ്ബത്തിനെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കാതെ പ്രമാണിച്ചു ദോഷം ചെയ്യാതവണ്ണം തന്റെ കൈ സൂക്ഷിച്ചും കൊണ്ടു ഇതു ചെയ്യുന്ന മർ‍ത്യനും ഇതു മുറുകെ പിടിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യനും ഭാഗ്യവാൻ.

Neither let the son of the stranger, that has joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD has utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.യഹോവയോടു ചേർ‍ന്നിട്ടുള്ള അന്യജാതിക്കാരൻ‍; യഹോവ എന്നെ തന്റെ ജനത്തിൽ നിന്നു അശേഷം വേർ‍പെടുത്തും എന്നു പറയരുതു; ഷണ്ഡനും: ഞാൻ ഒരു ഉണങ്ങിയ വൃക്ഷം എന്നു പറയരുതു.

For thus says the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തു ആചരിക്കയും എനിക്കു ഇഷ്ടമുള്ളതു തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കയും എന്റെ നിയമം പ്രമാണിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ഷണ്ഡന്മാരോടു യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ ഇപ്രകാരം പറയുന്നു:

Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.ഞാൻ അവർ‍ക്കു എന്റെ ആലയത്തിലും എന്റെ മതിലകങ്ങളിലും പുത്രീപുത്രന്മാരെക്കാൾ വിശേഷമായോരു ജ്ഞാപകവും നാമവും കൊടുക്കും; ഛേദിക്കപ്പെടാത്ത ഒരു ശാശ്വതനാമം തന്നേ ഞാൻ അവർ‍ക്കു കൊടുക്കും.

Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keeps the sabbath from polluting it, and takes hold of my covenant;യഹോവയെ സേവിച്ചു, അവന്റെ നാമത്തെ സ്നേഹിച്ചു, അവന്റെ ദാസന്മാരായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യഹോവയോടു ചേർ‍ന്നുവരുന്ന അന്യജാതിക്കാരെ, ശബ്ബത്തിനെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കാതെ ആചരിക്കയും എന്റെ നിയമം പ്രമാണിച്ചു നടക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവരെ ഒക്കെയും തന്നേ,

Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.ഞാൻ എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധപർ‍വ്വതത്തിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു, എന്റെ പ്രാർ‍ത്ഥനാലയത്തിൽ അവരെ സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കും; അവരുടെ ഹോമയാഗങ്ങളും ഹനനയാഗങ്ങളും എന്റെ യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേൽ പ്രസാദകരമായിരിക്കും; എന്റെ ആലയം സകലജാതികൾക്കും ഉള്ള പ്രാർ‍ത്ഥനാലയം എന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെടും.

The Lord GOD, which gathers the outcasts of Israel says, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.ഞാൻ അവരോടു, അവരുടെ ശേഖരിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരോടു തന്നേ, ഇനി മറ്റുള്ളവരെയും കൂട്ടിച്ചേർ‍ക്കും എന്നു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ഭ്രഷ്ടന്മാരെ ശേഖരിക്കുന്ന ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

All you beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all you beasts in the forest.വയലിലെ സകലമൃഗങ്ങളും കാട്ടിലെ സകലമൃഗങ്ങളും ആയുള്ളോവേ, വന്നു തിന്നുകൊൾവിൻ.

His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.അവന്റെ കാവൽക്കാർ‍ കുരുടന്മാർ‍; അവരെല്ലാവരും പരിജ്ഞാനമില്ലാത്തവർ‍, അവരെല്ലാവരും കുരെപ്പാൻ വഹിയാത്ത ഊമനായ്‍ക്കൾ തന്നേ; അവർ‍ നിദ്രാപ്രിയന്മാരായി സ്വപ്നം കണ്ടു കിടന്നുറങ്ങുന്നു.

Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.ഈ നായ്‍ക്കൾ ഒരിക്കലും തൃപ്തിപ്പെടാത്ത കൊതിയന്മാർ‍ തന്നേ; ഈ ഇടയന്മാരോ സൂക്ഷിപ്പാൻ അറിയാത്തവർ‍; അവരെല്ലാവരും ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ താന്താന്റെ വഴിക്കും ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ ലാഭത്തിന്നും തിരിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

Come all of you, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and tomorrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.വരുവിൻ‍: ഞാൻ പോയി വീഞ്ഞു കൊണ്ടുവരാം; നമുക്കു മദ്യം കുടിക്കാം; ഇന്നത്തെപ്പോലെ നാളെയും കേമത്തിൽ തന്നേ എന്നു അവർ പറയുന്നു.

Isaiah 57

The righteous perishes, and no man lays it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.നീതിമാൻ നശിക്കുന്നു; ആരും അതു ഗണ്യമാക്കുന്നില്ല; ഭക്തന്മാരും കഴിഞ്ഞുപോകുന്നു; നീതിമാൻ അനർ‍ത്ഥത്തിന്നു മുമ്പെ കഴിഞ്ഞുപോകുന്നു എന്നു ആരും ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നില്ല.

He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.അവൻ സമാധാനത്തിലേക്കു പ്രവേശിക്കുന്നു; നേരായി നടക്കുന്നവരൊക്കെയും താന്താന്റെ കിടക്കയിൽ വിശ്രാമം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.

But draw near here, all of you sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the whore.ക്ഷുദ്രക്കാരത്തിയുടെ മക്കളേ, വ്യഭിചാരിയുടെയും വേശ്യയുടെയും സന്തതിയേ; ഇങ്ങോട്ടു അടുത്തുവരുവിൻ.

Against whom do all of you sport yourselves? against whom make all of you a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? are all of you not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood.നിങ്ങൾ ആരെയാകുന്നു കളിയാക്കുന്നതു? ആരുടെനേരെയാകുന്നു നിങ്ങൾ വായ്പിളർ‍ന്നു നാക്കു നീട്ടുന്നതു? നിങ്ങൾ അതിക്രമക്കാരും വ്യാജസന്തതിയും അല്ലയോ?

Enflaming yourselves with idols under every green tree, slaying the children in the valleys under the clefts of the rocks?നിങ്ങൾ കരുവേലങ്ങൾക്കരികത്തും ഓരോ പച്ചമരത്തിൻ ‍കീഴിലും ജ്വലിച്ചു, പാറപ്പിളർ‍പ്പുകൾക്കു താഴെ തോട്ടുവക്കത്തുവെച്ചു കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ അറുക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

Among the smooth stones of the stream is your portion; they, they are your lot: even to them have you poured a drink offering, you have offered a food offering. Should I receive comfort in these?തോട്ടിലെ മിനുസമുള്ള കല്ലു നിന്റെ പങ്കു; അതു തന്നേ നിന്റെ ഓഹരി; അതിന്നല്ലോ നീ പാനീയ ബലി പകർ‍ന്നു ഭോജനബലി അർ‍പ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതു? ഈ വക കണ്ടിട്ടു ഞാൻ ക്ഷമിച്ചിരിക്കുമോ?

Upon a lofty and high mountain have you set your bed: even thither went you up to offer sacrifice.പൊക്കവും ഉയരവും ഉള്ള മലയിൽ നീ നിന്റെ കിടക്ക വിരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവിടേക്കു തന്നേ നീ ബലികഴിപ്പാൻ കയറിച്ചെന്നു.

Behind the doors also and the posts have you set up your remembrance: for you have discovered yourself to another than me, and are gone up; you have enlarged your bed, and made you a covenant with them; you loved their bed where you saw it.കതകിന്നും കട്ടിളെക്കും പുറകിൽ നീ നിന്റെ അടയാളം വെച്ചു, നീ എന്നെ വിട്ടു ചെന്നു മറ്റുള്ളവർ‍ക്കു നിന്നെത്തന്നേ അനാവൃതയാക്കി കയറി നിന്റെ കിടക്ക വിസ്താരമാക്കി അവരുമായി ഉടമ്പടിചെയ്തു അവരുടെ ശയനം കൊതിച്ചു ആംഗ്യം നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

And you went to the king with ointment, and did increase your perfumes, and did send your messengers far off, and did debase yourself even unto hell.നീ തൈലവുംകൊണ്ടു മോലെക്കിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു, നിന്റെ പരിമളവർ‍ഗ്ഗം ധാരാളം ചെലവു ചെയ്തു, നിന്റെ ദൂതന്മാരെ ദൂരത്തയച്ചു പാതാളത്തോളം ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു.

You are wearied in the greatness of your way; yet said you not, There is no hope: you have found the life of yours hand; therefore you were not grieved.വഴിയുടെ ദൂരംകൊണ്ടു നീ തളർ‍ന്നുപോയിട്ടും അതു നിഷ്ഫലമെന്നു നീ പറഞ്ഞില്ല; നിന്റെ കൈവശം ജീവശക്തി കണ്ടതുകൊണ്ടു നിനക്കു ക്ഷീണം തോന്നിയില്ല.

And of whom have you been afraid or feared, that you have lied, and have not remembered me, nor laid it to your heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and you fear me not?കപടം കാണിപ്പാനും എന്നെ ഓർ‍ക്കയോ കൂട്ടാക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യാതിരിപ്പാനും നീ ആരെയാകുന്നു ശങ്കിച്ചു ഭയപ്പെട്ടതു? ഞാൻ ബഹുകാലം മിണ്ടാതെ ഇരുന്നിട്ടല്ലയോ നീ എന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടാതിരിക്കുന്നതു?

I will declare your righteousness, and your works; for they shall not profit you.നിന്റെ നീതി ഞാൻ വെളിച്ചത്താക്കും; നിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളോ നിനക്കു പ്രയോജനമാകയില്ല.

When you cry, let your companies deliver you; but the wind shall carry them all away; vanity shall take them: but he that puts his trust in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain;നീ നിലവിളിക്കുമ്പോൾ നിന്റെ വിഗ്രഹസമൂഹം നിന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കട്ടെ; എന്നാൽ അവയെ ഒക്കെയും കാറ്റു പാറ്റിക്കൊണ്ടുപോകും; ഒരു ശ്വാസം അവയെ നീക്കിക്കളയും; എങ്കിലും എന്നെ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നവൻ ദേശത്തെ അവകാശമാക്കി എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധപർ‍വ്വതത്തെ കൈവശമാക്കും.

And shall say, Cast all of you up, cast all of you up, prepare the way, take up the stumbling block out of the way of my people.നികത്തുവിൻ‍, നികത്തുവിൻ‍, വഴി ഒരുക്കുവിൻ‍; എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ വഴിയിൽ നിന്നു ഇടർ‍ച്ച നീക്കിക്കളവിൻ എന്നു അവൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

For thus says the high and lofty One that inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.ഉന്നതനും ഉയർ‍ന്നിരിക്കുന്നവനും ശാശ്വതവാസിയും പരിശുദ്ധൻ എന്നു നാമമുള്ളവനുമായവൻ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ ഉന്നതനും പരിശുദ്ധനുമായി വസിക്കുന്നു; താഴ്മയുള്ളവരുടെ മനസ്സിന്നും മനസ്താപമുള്ളവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിന്നും ചൈതന്യം വരുത്തുവാൻ മനസ്താപവും മനോവിനയവുമുള്ളവരോടു കൂടെയും വസിക്കുന്നു.

For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always angry: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.ഞാൻ എന്നേക്കും വാദിക്കയില്ല; എല്ലായ്പോഴും കോപിക്കയുമില്ല; അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അവരുടെ ആത്മാവും ഞാൻ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള ദേഹികളും എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നിന്നു ക്ഷയിച്ചു പോകുമല്ലോ.

For the iniquity of his covetousness was I angry, and stroke him: I hid me, and was angry, and he went on perversely in the way of his heart.അവരുടെ അത്യാഗ്രഹത്തിന്റെ അകൃത്യംനിമിത്തം ഞാൻ കോപിച്ചു അവരെ അടിച്ചു; ഞാൻ കോപിച്ചു മുഖം മറെച്ചു; എന്നാറെ അവർ‍ തിരിഞ്ഞു തങ്ങൾക്കു തോന്നിയ വഴിയിൽ നടന്നു.

I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.ഞാൻ അവരുടെ വഴികളെ കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ അവരെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കും; ഞാൻ അവരെ നടത്തി അവർ‍ക്കു, അവരുടെ ദുഃഖിതന്മാർ‍ക്കു തന്നേ, വീണ്ടും ആശ്വാസം വരുത്തും;

I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, says the LORD; and I will heal him.ഞാൻ അധരങ്ങളുടെ ഫലം സൃഷ്ടിക്കും; ദൂരസ്ഥന്നും സമീപസ്ഥന്നും സമാധാനം, സമാധാനം എന്നും ഞാൻ അവരെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കും എന്നും യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.ദുഷ്ടന്മാരോ കലങ്ങിമറിയുന്ന കടൽപോലെയാകുന്നു; അതിന്നു അടങ്ങിയിരിപ്പാൻ കഴികയില്ല; അതിലെ വെള്ളം ചേറും ചെളിയും മേലോട്ടു തള്ളുന്നു.

There is no peace, says my God, to the wicked.ദുഷ്ടന്മാർ‍ക്കു സമാധാനമില്ല എന്നു എന്റെ ദൈവം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
