And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു:

Speak unto Aaron and say unto him, When you light the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light opposite to the candlestick.ദീപം കൊളുത്തുമ്പോൾ ദീപം ഏഴും നിലവിളക്കിന്റെ മുൻ വശത്തോട്ടു വെളിച്ചംകൊടുക്കേണം എന്നു അഹരോനോടു പറക.

And Aaron did so; he lighted the lamps thereof opposite to the candlestick, as the LORD commanded Moses.അഹരോൻ അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തു; യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ അവൻ നിലവിളക്കിന്റെ ദീപം മുൻ വശത്തേക്കു തിരിച്ചുകൊളുത്തി.

And this work of the candlestick was of beaten gold, unto the shaft thereof, unto the flowers thereof, was beaten work: according unto the pattern which the LORD had showed Moses, so he made the candlestick.നിലവിളക്കിന്റെ പണിയോ, അതു പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടു അടിച്ചുണ്ടാക്കിയതായിരുന്നു; അതിന്റെ ചുവടുമുതൽ പുഷ്പംവരെ അടിപ്പുപണി തന്നേ; യഹോവ മോശെയെ കാണിച്ച മാതൃകപോലെ തന്നേ അവൻ നിലവിളക്കു ഉണ്ടാക്കി.

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them.ലേവ്യരെ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ ഇടയിൽനിന്നു എടുത്തു ശുചീകരിക്ക.

And thus shall you do unto them, to cleanse them: Sprinkle water of purifying upon them, and let them shave all their flesh, and let them wash their clothes, and so make themselves clean.അവരെ ശുചീകരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഇങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യേണം: പാപപരിഹാരജലം അവരുടെ മേൽ തളിക്കേണം; അവർ സർവ്വാംഗം ക്ഷൌരം ചെയ്തു വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി ഇങ്ങനെ തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ ശുചീകരിക്കേണം.

Then let them take a young bullock with his food offering, even fine flour mingled with oil, and another young bullock shall you take for a sin offering.അതിന്റെ ശേഷം അവർ ഒരു കാളക്കിടാവിനെയും അതിന്റെ ഭോജനയാഗമായി എണ്ണചേർത്ത നേരിയ മാവും എടുക്കേണം; പാപയാഗത്തിന്നായി നീ വേറെ ഒരു കാളക്കിടാവിനെയും എടുക്കേണം.

And you shall bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation: and you shall gather the whole assembly of the children of Israel together:ലേവ്യരെ സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ വരുത്തേണം; യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ സഭയെ മുഴുവനും ഒരുമിച്ചു കൂട്ടേണം.

And you shall bring the Levites before the LORD: and the children of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites:പിന്നെ ലേവ്യരെ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ നിർത്തേണം; യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ ലേവ്യരുടെ മേൽ കൈ വെക്കേണം.

And Aaron shall offer the Levites before the LORD for an offering of the children of Israel, that they may execute the service of the LORD.യഹോവയുടെ വേല ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു അഹരോൻ ലേവ്യരെ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ നീരാജനയാഗമായി അർപ്പിക്കേണം.

And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks: and you shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, unto the LORD, to make an atonement for the Levites.ലേവ്യർ കാളക്കിടാക്കളുടെ തലയിൽ കൈ വെക്കേണം; പിന്നെ ലേവ്യർക്കുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ യഹോവെക്കു ഒന്നിനെ പാപയാഗമായിട്ടും മറ്റേതിനെ ഹോമയാഗമായിട്ടും അർപ്പിക്കേണം.

And you shall set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them for an offering unto the LORD.നീ ലേവ്യരെ അഹരോന്റെയും പുത്രന്മാരുടെയും മുമ്പാകെ നിർത്തി യഹോവെക്കു നീരാജനയാഗമായി അർപ്പിക്കേണം.

Thus shall you separate the Levites from among the children of Israel: and the Levites shall be mine.ഇങ്ങനെ ലേവ്യരെ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ ഇടയിൽനിന്നു വേർതിരിക്കയും ലേവ്യർ എനിക്കുള്ളവരായിരിക്കയും വേണം.

And after that shall the Levites go in to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation: and you shall cleanse them, and offer them for an offering.അതിന്റെ ശേഷം സമാഗമനക്കുടാരം സംബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള വേല ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു ലേവ്യർക്കു അടുത്തു ചെല്ലാം; നീ അവരെ ശുചീകരിച്ചു നീരാജനയാഗമായി അർപ്പിക്കേണം.

For they are wholly given unto me from among the children of Israel; instead of such as open every womb, even instead of the firstborn of all the children of Israel, have I taken them unto me.അവർ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ ഇടയിൽനിന്നു എനിക്കു സാക്ഷാൽ ദാനമായുള്ളവർ; എല്ലാ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളിലുമുള്ള ആദ്യജാതന്മാർക്കു പകരം ഞാൻ അവരെ എനിക്കായി എടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

For all the firstborn of the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast: on the day that I stroke every firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.മനുഷ്യരിലാകട്ടെ മൃഗങ്ങളിലാകട്ടെ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കുള്ള കടിഞ്ഞൂൽ ഒക്കെയും എനിക്കുള്ളതു; ഞാൻ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുള്ള കടിഞ്ഞൂലുകളെ ഒക്കെയും സംഹരിച്ച നാളിൽ അവയെ എനിക്കായി ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചു.

And I have taken the Levites for all the firstborn of the children of Israel.എന്നാൽ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളിൽ ഉള്ള എല്ലാ കടിഞ്ഞൂലുകൾക്കും പകരം ഞാൻ ലേവ്യരെ എടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel: that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh unto the sanctuary.യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിന്നു അടുത്തു വരുമ്പോൾ അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ ബാധയുണ്ടാകാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിൽ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ വേല ചെയ്‍വാനും യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിപ്പാനും ലേവ്യരെ ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ ഇടയിൽനിന്നു അഹരോന്നും പുത്രന്മാർക്കും ദാനം ചെയ്തുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

And Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the children of Israel, did to the Levites according unto all that the LORD commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did the children of Israel unto them.അങ്ങനെ മോശെയും അഹരോനും യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ സഭ മുഴുവനും ലേവ്യരെക്കുറിച്ചു യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു പോലെയൊക്കെയും ലേവ്യർക്കു ചെയ്തു; അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ അവർക്കു ചെയ്തു.

And the Levites were purified, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them as an offering before the LORD; and Aaron made an atonement for them to cleanse them.ലേവ്യർ തങ്ങൾക്കു തന്നേ പാപശുദ്ധിവരുത്തി വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി; അഹരോൻ അവരെ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ നീരാജനയാഗമായി അർപ്പിച്ചു; അവരെ ശുചീകരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അഹരോൻ അവർക്കുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിച്ചു.

And after that went the Levites in to do their service in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron, and before his sons: as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did they unto them.അതിന്റെ ശേഷം ലേവ്യർ അഹരോന്റെയും പുത്രന്മാരുടെയും മുമ്പാകെ സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിൽ തങ്ങളുടെ വേലചെയ്‍വാൻ അടുത്തുചെന്നു; യഹോവ ലേവ്യരെക്കുറിച്ചു മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ അവർ അവർക്കു ചെയ്തു.

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു:

This is it that belongs unto the Levites: from twenty and five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service of the tabernacle of the congregation:ലേവ്യർക്കുള്ള പ്രമാണം ആവിതു: ഇരുപത്തഞ്ചു വയസ്സുമുതൽ അവർ സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിലെ വേലചെയ്യുന്ന സേവയിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കേണം.

And from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting upon the service thereof, and shall serve no more:അമ്പതു വയസ്സുമുതലോ അവർ വേലചെയ്യുന്ന സേവയിൽനിന്നു ഒഴിയേണം; പിന്നെ സേവിക്കേണ്ടാ;

But shall minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of the congregation, to keep the charge, and shall do no service. Thus shall you do unto the Levites concerning their charge.എങ്കിലും സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിലെ കാര്യംനോക്കുന്നതിൽ അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരെ സഹായിക്കേണം; വേല ഒന്നും ചെയ്യേണ്ടാ. ലേവ്യരുടെ കാര്യം സംബന്ധിച്ചു നീ ഇങ്ങനെ അവർക്കു ചെയ്യേണം.

Numbers 9

And the LORD spoke unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,അവർ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു പോന്നതിന്റെ രണ്ടാം സംവത്സരം ഒന്നാം മാസം യഹോവ സീനായിമരുഭൂമിയിൽവെച്ചു മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാൽ:

Let the children of Israel also keep the passover at his appointed season.യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ പെസഹ അതിന്നു നിശ്ചയിച്ച സമയത്തു ആചരിക്കേണം.

In the fourteenth day of this month, at even, all of you shall keep it in his appointed season: according to all the rites of it, and according to all the ceremonies thereof, shall all of you keep it.അതിന്നു നിശ്ചയിച്ച സമയമായ ഈ മാസം പതിന്നാലാം തിയ്യതി വൈകുന്നേരം അതു ആചരിക്കേണം; അതിന്റെ എല്ലാചട്ടങ്ങൾക്കും നിയമങ്ങൾക്കും അനുസരണയായി നിങ്ങൾ അതു ആചരിക്കേണം.

And Moses spoke unto the children of Israel, that they should keep the passover.പെസഹ ആചരിക്കേണമെന്നു മോശെ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

And they kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the first month at even in the wilderness of Sinai: according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did the children of Israel.അങ്ങനെ അവർ ഒന്നാം മാസം പതിന്നാലാം തിയ്യതി സന്ധ്യാസമയത്തു സീനായിമരുഭൂമിയിൽവെച്ചു പെസഹ ആചരിച്ചു; യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ ചെയ്തു.

And there were certain men, who were defiled by the dead body of a man, that they could not keep the passover on that day: and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day:എന്നാൽ ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്റെ ശവത്താൽ അശുദ്ധരായിത്തീർന്നിട്ടു ആ നാളിൽ പെസഹ ആചരിപ്പാൻ കഴിയാത്ത ചിലർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവർ അന്നുതന്നേ മോശെയുടെയും അഹരോന്റെയും മുമ്പാകെ വന്നു അവനോടു:

And those men said unto him, We are defiled by the dead body of a man: wherefore are we kept back, that we may not offer an offering of the LORD in his appointed season among the children of Israel?ഞങ്ങൾ ഒരുത്തന്റെ ശവത്താൽ അശുദ്ധരായിരിക്കുന്നു; നിശ്ചയിക്കപ്പെട്ട സമയത്തു യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ ഇടയിൽ യഹോവയുടെ വഴിപാടു കഴിക്കാതിരിപ്പാൻ ഞങ്ങളെ മുടക്കുന്നതു എന്തു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

And Moses said unto them, Stand still, and I will hear what the LORD will command concerning you.മോശെ അവരോടു: നില്പിൻ; യഹോവ നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു കല്പിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു എന്നു ഞാൻ കേൾക്കട്ടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,എന്നാറെ യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു.

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your posterity shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or be in a journey far off, yet he shall keep the passover unto the LORD.നീ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: നിങ്ങളിലോ നിങ്ങളുടെ സന്തതികളിലോ വല്ലവനും ശവത്താൽ അശുദ്ധനാകയോ ദൂരയാത്രയിൽ ആയിരിക്കയോ ചെയ്താലും അവൻ യഹോവെക്കു പെസഹ ആചരിക്കേണം.

The fourteenth day of the second month at even they shall keep it, and eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.രണ്ടാം മാസം പതിന്നാലാം തിയ്യതി സന്ധ്യാസമയത്തു അവർ അതു ആചരിച്ചു പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പത്തോടും കൈപ്പുചീരയോടും കൂടെ അതു ഭക്ഷിക്കേണം.

They shall leave none of it unto the morning, nor break any bone of it: according to all the ordinances of the passover they shall keep it.രാവിലത്തേക്കു അതിൽ ഒന്നും ശേഷിപ്പിച്ചുവെക്കരുതു; അതിന്റെ അസ്ഥിയൊന്നും ഒടിക്കയും അരുതു; പെസഹയുടെ ചട്ടപ്രകാരമൊക്കെയും അവർ അതു ആചരിക്കേണം.

But the man that is clean, and is not in a journey, and forbears to keep the passover, even the same soul shall be cut off from among his people: because he brought not the offering of the LORD in his appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.എന്നാൽ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനും പ്രയാണത്തിൽ അല്ലാത്തവനുമായ ഒരുത്തൻ പെസഹ ആചരിക്കാതെ വീഴ്ച വരുത്തിയാൽ അവനെ അവന്റെ ജനത്തിൽനിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം; നിശ്ചയിച്ച സമയത്തു യഹോവയുടെ വഴിപാടു കഴിക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടു അവൻ തന്റെ പാപം വഹിക്കേണം.

And if a stranger shall sojourn among you, and will keep the passover unto the LORD; according to the ordinance of the passover, and according to the manner thereof, so shall he do: all of you shall have one ordinance, both for the stranger, and for him that was born in the land.നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ വന്നുപാർക്കുന്ന ഒരു പരദേശിക്കു യഹോവയുടെ പെസഹ ആചരിക്കേണമെങ്കിൽ പെസഹയുടെ ചട്ടത്തിന്നും നിയമത്തിന്നും അനുസരണയായി അവൻ ആചരിക്കേണം; പരദേശിക്കാകട്ടെ സ്വദേശിക്കാകട്ടെ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഒരു ചട്ടം തന്നേ ആയിരിക്കേണം.

And on the day that the tabernacle was reared up the cloud covered the tabernacle, namely, the tent of the testimony: and at even there was upon the tabernacle as it were the appearance of fire, until the morning.തിരുനിവാസം നിവിർത്തുനിർത്തിയ നാളിൽ മേഘം സാക്ഷ്യകൂടാരമെന്ന തിരുനിവാസത്തെ മൂടി; സന്ധ്യാസമയംതൊട്ടു രാവിലെവരെ അതു തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്മേൽ അഗ്നിപ്രകാശംപോലെ ആയിരുന്നു.

So it was always: the cloud covered it by day, and the appearance of fire by night.അതു എല്ലായ്പോഴും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ആയിരുന്നു; പകൽ മേഘവും രാത്രി അഗ്നിരൂപവും അതിനെ മൂടിയിരുന്നു.

And when the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, then after that the children of Israel journeyed: and in the place where the cloud abode, there the children of Israel pitched their tents.മേഘം കൂടാരത്തിന്മേൽ നിന്നു പൊങ്ങുമ്പോൾ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ യാത്ര പുറപ്പെടും; മേഘം നില്ക്കുന്നേടത്തു അവർ പാളയമിറങ്ങും.

At the commandment of the LORD the children of Israel journeyed, and at the commandment of the LORD they pitched: as long as the cloud abode upon the tabernacle they rested in their tents.യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനപോലെ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ യാത്ര പുറപ്പെടുകയും യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനപോലെ പാളയമിറങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്തു; മേഘം തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്മേൽ നില്ക്കുമ്പോൾ ഒക്കെയും അവർ പാളയമടിച്ചു താമസിക്കും,

And when the cloud tarried long upon the tabernacle many days, then the children of Israel kept the charge of the LORD, and journeyed not.മേഘം തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്മേൽ ഏറെനാൾ ഇരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ യാത്രപുറപ്പെടാതെ യഹോവയുടെ ആജ്ഞ കാത്തുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും.

And so it was, when the cloud was a few days upon the tabernacle; according to the commandment of the LORD they abode in their tents, and according to the commandment of the LORD they journeyed.ചിലപ്പോൾ മേഘം തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്മേൽ കുറെനാൾ ഇരിക്കും; അപ്പോൾ അവർ യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനപോലെ പാളയമിറങ്ങിയിരിക്കും; പിന്നെ യഹോവയുടെ കല്പന പോലെ യാത്ര പുറപ്പെടും.

And so it was, when the cloud abode from even unto the morning, and that the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they journeyed: whether it was by day or by night that the cloud was taken up, they journeyed.ചിലപ്പോൾ മേഘം സന്ധ്യമുതൽ ഉഷസ്സുവരെ ഇരിക്കും; ഉഷഃകാലത്തു മേഘം പൊങ്ങി എങ്കിൽ അവർ യാത്ര പുറപ്പെടും. ചിലപ്പോൾ പകലും രാവും ഇരിക്കും; പിന്നെ മേഘം പൊങ്ങിയെങ്കിൽ അവർ യാത്ര പുറപ്പെടും.

Or whether it were two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining thereon, the children of Israel abode in their tents, and journeyed not: but when it was taken up, they journeyed.രണ്ടു ദിവസമോ ഒരു മാസമോ ഒരു സംവത്സരമോ മേഘം തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്മേൽ ആവസിച്ചിരുന്നാൽ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ പുറപ്പെടാതെ പാളയമടിച്ചു താമസിക്കും; അതു പൊങ്ങുമ്പോഴോ അവർ പുറപ്പെടും.

At the commandment of the LORD they rested in the tents, and at the commandment of the LORD they journeyed: they kept the charge of the LORD, at the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനപോലെ അവർ പാളയമിറങ്ങുകയും യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനപോലെ യാത്ര പുറപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യും; മോശെമുഖാന്തരം യഹോവ കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ അവർ യഹോവയുടെ ആജ്ഞ പ്രമാണിച്ചു.

Numbers 10

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാൽ:

Make you two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shall you make them: that you may use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps.വെള്ളികൊണ്ടു രണ്ടു കാഹളം ഉണ്ടാക്കുക; അടിപ്പു പണിയായി അവയെ ഉണ്ടാക്കേണം; അവ നിനക്കു സഭയെ വിളിച്ചുകൂട്ടുവാനും പാളയത്തെ പുറപ്പെടുവിപ്പാനും ഉതകേണം.

And when they shall blow with them, all the assembly shall assemble themselves to you at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.അവ ഊതുമ്പോൾ സഭ മുഴുവനും സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതിൽക്കൽ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൂടേണം.

When all of you blow an alarm, then the camps that lie on the east parts shall go forward.ഗംഭീരധ്വനി ഊതുമ്പോൾ കിഴക്കെ പാളയങ്ങൾ യാത്ര പുറപ്പെടേണം.

When all of you blow an alarm the second time, then the camps that lie on the south side shall take their journey: they shall blow an alarm for their journeys.രണ്ടാം പ്രാവശ്യം ഗംഭീരധ്വനി ഊതുമ്പോൾ തെക്കെ പാളയങ്ങൾ യാത്രപുറപ്പെടേണം; ഇങ്ങനെ ഇവരുടെ പുറപ്പാടുകൾക്കായി ഗംഭീരധ്വനി ഊതേണം:

And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow with the trumpets; and they shall be to you for an ordinance for ever throughout your generations.അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാർ ആകുന്നു കാഹളം ഊതേണ്ടതു; ഇതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു തലമുറതലമുറയായി എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടം ആയിരിക്കേണം.

And the children of Israel took their journeys out of the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Paran.അപ്പോൾ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ സീനായിമരുഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നു യാത്രപുറപ്പെട്ടു; മേഘം പാറാൻ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ വന്നുനിന്നു.

And Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Raguel the Midianite, Moses' father in law, We are journeying unto the place of which the LORD said, I will give it you: come you with us, and we will do you good: for the LORD has spoken good concerning Israel.പിന്നെ മോശെ തന്റെ അമ്മായപ്പനായ രെയൂവേൽ എന്ന മിദ്യാനന്റെ മകനായ ഹോബാബിനോടു: നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഞാൻ തരുമെന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത ദേശത്തേക്കു ഞങ്ങൾ യാത്രചെയ്യുന്നു; യഹോവ യിസ്രായേലിന്നു നന്മ ചൊല്ലിയിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു നീ ഞങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ വരിക; ഞങ്ങൾ നിനക്കു നന്മചെയ്യും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And he said unto him, I will not go; but I will depart to mine own land, and to my kindred.അവൻ അവനോടു: ഞാൻ വരുന്നില്ല; എന്റെ സ്വദേശത്തേക്കും ചാർച്ചക്കാരുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കും ഞാൻ പോകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And he said, Leave us not, I pray you; forasmuch as you know how we are to camp in the wilderness, and you may be to us instead of eyes.അതിന്നു അവൻ: ഞങ്ങളെ വിട്ടുപോകരുതേ; മരുഭൂമിയിൽ ഞങ്ങൾ പാളയമിറങ്ങേണ്ടതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നു നീ അറിയുന്നു; നീ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു കണ്ണായിരിക്കും.

And it shall be, if you go with us, yea, it shall be, that what goodness the LORD shall do unto us, the same will we do unto you.ഞങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ പോന്നാൽ യഹോവ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു ചെയ്യുന്ന നന്മപോലെ തന്നേ ഞങ്ങൾ നിനക്കും ചെയ്യും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And they departed from the mount of the LORD three days' journey: and the ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them in the three days' journey, to search out a resting place for them.അനന്തരം അവർ യഹോവയുടെ പർവ്വതം വിട്ടു മൂന്നു ദിവസത്തെ വഴി പോയി; യഹോവയുടെ നിയമപെട്ടകം അവർക്കു വിശ്രാമസ്ഥലം അന്വേഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു മൂന്നു ദിവസത്തെ വഴി മുമ്പോട്ടു പോയി.

And the cloud of the LORD was upon them by day, when they went out of the camp.പാളയം പുറപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ യഹോവയുടെ മേഘം പകൽ സമയം അവർക്കു മീതെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

And it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, LORD, and let yours enemies be scattered; and let them that hate you flee before you.പെട്ടകം പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ മോശെ: യഹോവേ, എഴുന്നേൽക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ ചിതറുകയും നിന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവർ നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നിന്നു ഓടിപ്പോകയും ചെയ്യട്ടെ എന്നു പറയും.

And when it rested, he said, Return, O LORD, unto the many thousands of Israel.അതു വിശ്രമിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവൻ: യഹോവേ, അനേകായിരമായ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ മടങ്ങിവരേണമേ എന്നു പറയും.

Numbers 11

And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD: and the LORD heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp.അനന്തരം ജനം യഹോവെക്കു അനിഷ്ടം തോന്നുമാറു പിറുപിറുത്തു; യഹോവ കേട്ടു അവന്റെ കോപം ജ്വലിച്ചു; യഹോവയുടെ തീ അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ കത്തി പാളയത്തിന്റെ അറ്റങ്ങളിലുള്ളവരെ ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

And the people cried unto Moses; and when Moses prayed unto the LORD, the fire was quenched.ജനം മോശെയോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു; മോശെ യഹോവയോടു പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു: അപ്പോൾ തീ കെട്ടുപോയി.

And he called the name of the place Taberah: because the fire of the LORD burnt among them.യഹോവയുടെ തീ അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ കത്തുകയാൽ ആ സ്ഥലത്തിന്നു തബേരാ എന്നു പേരായി.

And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?പിന്നെ അവരുടെ ഇടയിലുള്ള സമ്മിശ്രജാതി ദുരാഗ്രഹികളായി, യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളും വീണ്ടും കരഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടു: ഞങ്ങൾക്കു തിന്മാൻ ഇറച്ചി ആർ തരും?

We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick:ഞങ്ങൾ മിസ്രയീമിൽ വെച്ചു വിലകൂടാതെ തിന്നിട്ടുള്ള മത്സ്യം, വെള്ളരിക്കാ, മത്തെങ്ങാ, ഉള്ളി, ചുവന്നുള്ളി, ചിറ്റുള്ളി എന്നിവ ഞങ്ങൾ ഓർക്കുന്നു.

But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes.ഇപ്പോഴോ ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രാണൻ പൊരിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; ഈ മന്നാ അല്ലാതെ ഒന്നും കാണ്മാനില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And the manna was as coriander seed, and the colour thereof as the colour of bdellium.മന്നയോ കൊത്തമ്പാലരിപോലെയും അതിന്റെ നിറം ഗുല്ഗുലുവിന്റേതുപോലെയും ആയിരുന്നു.

And the people went about, and gathered it, and ground it in mills, or beat it in a mortar, and baked it in pans, and made cakes of it: and the taste of it was as the taste of fresh oil.ജനം നടന്നു പെറുക്കി തിരികല്ലിൽ പൊടിച്ചിട്ടോ ഉരലിൽ ഇടിച്ചിട്ടോ കലത്തിൽ പുഴുങ്ങി അപ്പം ഉണ്ടാക്കും. അതിന്റെ രുചി എണ്ണചേർത്തുണ്ടാക്കിയ ദോശപോലെ ആയിരുന്നു.

And when the dew fell upon the camp in the night, the manna fell upon it.രാത്രി പാളയത്തിൽ മഞ്ഞു പൊഴിയുമ്പോൾ മന്നയും പൊഴിയും.

Then Moses heard the people weep throughout their families, every man in the door of his tent: and the anger of the LORD was kindled greatly; Moses also was displeased.ജനം കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായി ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ കൂടാരവാതിൽക്കൽവെച്ചു കരയുന്നതു മോശെ കേട്ടു; യഹോവയുടെ കോപം ഏറ്റവും ജ്വലിച്ചു; മോശെക്കും അനിഷ്ടമായി.

And Moses said unto the LORD, Wherefore have you afflicted your servant? and wherefore have I not found favour in your sight, that you lay the burden of all this people upon me?അപ്പോൾ മോശെ യഹോവയോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: നീ അടിയനെ വലെച്ചതു എന്തു? നിനക്കു എന്നോടു കൃപ തോന്നാതെ ഈ സർവ്വജനത്തിന്റെയും ഭാരം എന്റെമേൽ വെച്ചതെന്തു?

Have I conceived all this people? have I begotten them, that you should say unto me, Carry them in your bosom, as a nursing father bears the nursing infant, unto the land which you sware unto their fathers?മുലകുടിക്കുന്ന കുഞ്ഞിനെ ഒരു ധാത്രി എടുക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ഞാൻ അവരെ നീ അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു സത്യം ചെയ്ത ദേശത്തേക്കു എന്റെ മാറത്തെടുത്തുകൊണ്ടു പോകേണമെന്നു എന്നോടു കല്പിപ്പാൻ ഈ ജനത്തെ ഒക്കെയും ഞാൻ ഗർഭംധരിച്ചുവോ? ഞാൻ അവരെ പ്രസവിച്ചുവോ?

Whence should I have flesh to give unto all this people? for they weep unto me, saying, Give us flesh, that we may eat.ഈ ജനത്തിന്നു ഒക്കെയും കൊടുപ്പാൻ എനിക്കു എവിടെനിന്നു ഇറച്ചി കിട്ടും? അവർ ഇതാ: ഞങ്ങൾക്കു തിന്മാൻ ഇറച്ചി തരിക എന്നു എന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞു കരയുന്നു.

I am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy for me.ഏകനായി ഈ സർവ്വജനത്തെയും വഹിപ്പാൻ എന്നെക്കൊണ്ടു കഴിയുന്നതല്ല; അതു എനിക്കു അതിഭാരം ആകുന്നു.

And if you deal thus with me, kill me, I pray you, instantly, if I have found favour in your sight; and let me not see my wretchedness.ഇങ്ങനെ എന്നോടു ചെയ്യുന്ന പക്ഷം ദയവിചാരിച്ചു എന്നെ കൊന്നുകളയേണമേ. എന്റെ അരിഷ്ടത ഞാൻ കാണരുതേ.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them unto the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand there with you.അപ്പോൾ യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു: യിസ്രായേൽമൂപ്പന്മാരിൽവെച്ചു ജനത്തിന്നു പ്രമാണികളും മേൽവിചാരകന്മാരും എന്നു നീ അറിയുന്ന എഴുപതു പുരുഷന്മാരെ സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്നരികെ നിന്നോടു കൂടെ നിൽക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു വരിക.

And I will come down and talk with you there: and I will take of the spirit which is upon you, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, that you bear it not yourself alone.അവിടെ ഞാൻ ഇറങ്ങിവന്നു നിന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യും; ഞാൻ നിന്റെമേലുള്ള ആത്മാവിൽ കുറെ എടുത്തു അവരുടെ മേൽ പകരും. നീ ഏകനായി വഹിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവർ നിന്നോടുകൂടെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഭാരം വഹിക്കും.

And say you unto the people, Sanctify yourselves against tomorrow, and all of you shall eat flesh: for all of you have wept in the ears of the LORD, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat? for it was well with us in Egypt: therefore the LORD will give you flesh, and all of you shall eat.എന്നാൽ ജനത്തോടു നീ പറയേണ്ടതു: നാളത്തേക്കു നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ ശുദ്ധീകരിപ്പിൻ; എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ഇറച്ചി തിന്നും; ഞങ്ങൾക്കു തിന്മാൻ ഇറച്ചി ആർ തരും? മിസ്രയീമിൽ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു നന്നായിരുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞു യഹോവ കേൾക്കെ കരഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ; ആകയാൽ യഹോവ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഇറച്ചി തരികയും നിങ്ങൾ തിന്നുകയും ചെയ്യും.

All of you shall not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days, neither ten days, nor twenty days;ഒരു ദിവസമല്ല, രണ്ടു ദിവസമല്ല, അഞ്ചു ദിവസമല്ല, പത്തു ദിവസമല്ല, ഇരുപതു ദിവസവുമല്ല, ഒരു മാസം മുഴുവനും തന്നേ;

But even a whole month, until it come out at your nostrils, and it be loathsome unto you: because that all of you have despised the LORD which is among you, and have wept before him, saying, Why came we forth out of Egypt?അതു നിങ്ങളുടെ മൂക്കിൽകൂടി പുറപ്പെട്ടു നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഓക്കാനം വരുവോളം നിങ്ങൾ തിന്നും; നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഉള്ള യഹോവയെ നിങ്ങൾ നിരസിക്കയും: ഞങ്ങൾ മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു എന്തിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ കരകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

And Moses said, The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand footmen; and you have said, I will give them flesh, that they may eat a whole month.അപ്പോൾ മോശെ: എന്നോടുകൂടെയുള്ള ജനം ആറുലക്ഷം കാലാൾ ഉണ്ടു; ഒരു മാസം മുഴുവൻ തിന്മാൻ ഞാൻ അവർക്കു ഇറച്ചി കൊടുക്കുമെന്നു നീ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

Shall the flocks and the herds be slain for them, to suffice them? or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, to suffice them?അവർക്കു മതിയാകുംവണ്ണം ആടുകളെയും മാടുകളെയും അവർക്കുവേണ്ടി അറുക്കുമോ? അവർക്കു മതിയാകുംവണ്ണം സമുദ്രത്തിലെ മത്സ്യത്തെ ഒക്കെയും അവർക്കു വേണ്ടി പിടിച്ചുകൂട്ടുമോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Is the LORD's hand waxed short? you shall see now whether my word shall come to pass unto you or not.യഹോവ മോശെയോടു: യഹോവയുടെ കൈ കുറുതായിപ്പോയോ? എന്റെ വചനം നിവൃത്തിയാകുമോ ഇല്ലയോ എന്നു നീ ഇപ്പോൾ കാണും എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

And Moses went out, and told the people the words of the LORD, and gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people, and set them round about the tabernacle.അങ്ങനെ മോശെ ചെന്നു യഹോവയുടെ വചനങ്ങളെ ജനത്തോടു പറഞ്ഞു, ജനത്തിന്റെ മൂപ്പന്മാരിൽ എഴുപതു പുരുഷന്മാരെ കൂട്ടി കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ ചുറ്റിലും നിറുത്തി.

And the LORD came down in a cloud, and spoke unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease.എന്നാറെ യഹോവ ഒരു മേഘത്തിൽ ഇറങ്ങി അവനോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു, അവന്മേലുള്ള ആത്മാവിൽ കുറെ എടുത്തു മൂപ്പന്മാരായ ആ എഴുപതു പുരുഷന്മാർക്കു കൊടുത്തു; ആത്മാവു അവരുടെ മേൽ ആവസിച്ചപ്പോൾ അവർ പ്രവചിച്ചു; പിന്നെ അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തില്ലതാനും.

But there remained two of the men in the camp, the name of the one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad: and the spirit rested upon them; and they were of them that were written, but went not out unto the tabernacle: and they prophesied in the camp.എന്നാൽ ആ പുരഷന്മാരിൽ രണ്ടു പേർ പാളയത്തിൽ തന്നേ താമസിച്ചിരുന്നു; ഒരുത്തന്നു എൽദാദ് എന്നും മറ്റവന്നു മേദാദ് എന്നും പേർ. ആത്മാവു അവരുടെമേലും ആവസിച്ചു; അവരും പേരെഴുതിയവരിൽ ഉള്ളവർ ആയിരുന്നു എങ്കിലും കൂടാരത്തിലേക്കു ചെന്നിരുന്നില്ല; അവർ പാളയത്തിൽ വെച്ചു പ്രവചിച്ചു.

And there ran a young man, and told Moses, and said, Eldad and Medad do prophesy in the camp.അപ്പോൾ ഒരു ബാല്യക്കാരൻ മോശെയുടെ അടുക്കൽ ഓടിച്ചെന്നു: എൽദാദും മേദാദും പാളയത്തിൽവെച്ചു പ്രവചിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അറിയിച്ചു.

And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Moses, one of his young men, answered and said, My lord Moses, forbid them.എന്നാറെ നൂന്റെ മകനായി ബാല്യംമുതൽ മോശെയുടെ ശുശ്രൂഷക്കാരനായിരുന്ന യോശുവ: എന്റെ യജമാനനായ മോശെയേ, അവരെ വിരോധിക്കേണമേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And Moses said unto him, Envy you for my sake? would God that all the LORD's people were prophets, and that the LORD would put his spirit upon them!മോശെ അവനോടു: എന്നെ വിചാരിച്ചു നീ അസൂയപ്പെടുന്നുവോ? യഹോവയുടെ ജനം ഒക്കെയും പ്രവാചകന്മാരാകയും യഹോവ തന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെ അവരുടെമേൽ പകരുകയും ചെയ്തെങ്കിൽ കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And Moses got him into the camp, he and the elders of Israel.പിന്നെ മോശെയും യിസ്രായേൽമൂപ്പന്മാരും പാളയത്തിൽ വന്നു ചേർന്നു.

And there went forth a wind from the LORD, and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, as it were a day's journey on this side, and as it were a day's journey on the other side, round about the camp, and as it were two cubits high upon the face of the earth.അനന്തരം യഹോവ അയച്ച ഒരു കാറ്റു ഊതി കടലിൽനിന്നു കാടയെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു പാളയത്തിന്റെ സമീപത്തു ഒരു ദിവസത്തെ വഴി ഇങ്ങോട്ടും ഒരു ദിവസത്തെ വഴി അങ്ങോട്ടും ഇങ്ങനെ പാളയത്തിന്റെ ചുറ്റിലും നിലത്തോടു ഏകദേശം രണ്ടു മുഴം അടുത്തു പറന്നുനില്ക്കുമാറാക്കി.

And the people stood up all that day, and all that night, and all the next day, and they gathered the quails: he that gathered least gathered ten homers: and they spread them all abroad for themselves round about the camp.ജനം എഴുന്നേറ്റു അന്നു പകൽ മുഴുവനും രാത്രി മുഴുവനും പിറ്റെന്നാൾ മുഴുവനും കാടയെ പിടിച്ചു കൂട്ടി; നന്നാ കുറെച്ചു പിടിച്ചവൻ പത്തു പറ പിടിച്ചുകൂട്ടി; അവർ അവയെ പാളയത്തിന്റെ ചുറ്റിലും ചിക്കി.

And while the flesh was yet between their teeth, before it was chewed, the wrath of the LORD was kindled against the people, and the LORD stroke the people with a very great plague.എന്നാൽ ഇറച്ചി അവരുടെ പല്ലിന്നിടയിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അതു ചവെച്ചിറക്കും മുമ്പെ തന്നേ യഹോവയുടെ കോപം ജനത്തിന്റെ നേരെ ജ്വലിച്ചു, യഹോവ ജനത്തെ ഒരു മഹാബാധകൊണ്ടു സംഹരിച്ചു.

And he called the name of that place Kibrothhattaavah: because there they buried the people that lusted.ദുരാഗ്രഹികളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തെ അവിടെ കുഴിച്ചിട്ടതുകൊണ്ടു ആ സ്ഥലത്തിന്നു കിബ്രോത്ത്-ഹത്താവ എന്നു പേരായി.

And the people journeyed from Kibrothhattaavah unto Hazeroth; and abode at Hazeroth.കിബ്രോത്ത്-ഹത്താവ വിട്ടു ജനം ഹസേരോത്തിലേക്കു പുറപ്പെട്ടു ചെന്നു ഹസേരോത്തിൽ പാർത്തു.
