Ezekiel 31

And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the third month, in the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,പതിനൊന്നാം ആണ്ടു, മൂന്നാം മാസം, ഒന്നാം തിയ്യതി യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

Son of man, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, and to his multitude; Whom are you like in your greatness?മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ മിസ്രയീംരാജാവായ ഫറവോനോടും അവന്റെ പുരുഷാരത്തോടും പറയേണ്ടതു: നിന്റെ മഹത്വത്തിൽ നീ ആർക്കു സമൻ?

Behold, the Assyrian was a cedar in Lebanon with fair branches, and with a shadowing shroud, and of an high stature; and his top was among the thick boughs.അശ്ശൂർ ലെബാനോനിൽ ഭംഗിയുള്ള കൊമ്പുകളോടും തണലുള്ള ഇലകളോടും പൊക്കത്തിലുള്ള വളർച്ചയോടും കൂടിയ ഒരു ദേവദാരുവായിരുന്നുവല്ലോ; അതിന്റെ തുഞ്ചം മേഘങ്ങളോളം എത്തിയിരുന്നു.

The waters made him great, the deep set him up on high with her rivers running round about his plants, and sent her little rivers unto all the trees of the field.വെള്ളം അതിനെ വളർത്തി ആഴി അതിനെ ഉയരുമാറാക്കി; അതിന്റെ നദികൾ തോട്ടത്തെ ചുറ്റി ഒഴുകി, അതു തന്റെ ഒഴുക്കുകളെ വയലിലെ സകല വൃക്ഷങ്ങളുടെയും അടുക്കലേക്കു അയച്ചുകൊടുത്തു.

Therefore his height was exalted above all the trees of the field, and his boughs were multiplied, and his branches became long because of the multitude of waters, when he shot forth.അതുകൊണ്ടു അതു വളർന്നു വയലിലെ സകലവൃക്ഷങ്ങളെക്കാളും പൊങ്ങി; അതു വെള്ളത്തിന്റെ പെരുപ്പംകൊണ്ടു പടർന്നു തന്റെ കൊമ്പുകളെ പെരുക്കി ചില്ലികളെ നീട്ടി.

All the fowls of heaven made their nests in his boughs, and under his branches did all the beasts of the field bring forth their young, and under his shadow dwelt all great nations.അതിന്റെ ചില്ലികളിൽ ആകാശത്തിലെ പറവ ഒക്കെയും കൂടുണ്ടാക്കി; അതിന്റെ കൊമ്പുകളുടെ കീഴെ കാട്ടുമൃഗം ഒക്കെയും പെറ്റുകിടന്നു; അതിന്റെ തണലിൽ വലിയ ജാതികളൊക്കെയും പാർത്തു.

Thus was he fair in his greatness, in the length of his branches: for his root was by great waters.ഇങ്ങനെ അതിന്റെ വേർ വളരെ വെള്ളത്തിന്നരികെ ആയിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അതു വലുതായി കൊമ്പുകളെ നീട്ടി ശോഭിച്ചിരുന്നു.

The cedars in the garden of God could not hide him: the fir trees were not like his boughs, and the chestnut trees were not like his branches; nor any tree in the garden of God was like unto him in his beauty.ദൈവത്തിന്റെ തോട്ടത്തിലെ ദേവദാരുക്കൾക്കു അതിനെ മറെപ്പാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല; സരളവൃക്ഷങ്ങൾ അതിന്റെ കൊമ്പുകളോടു തുല്യമായിരുന്നില്ല; അരിഞ്ഞിൽവൃക്ഷങ്ങൾ അതിന്റെ ചില്ലികളോടു ഒത്തിരുന്നില്ല; ദൈവത്തിന്റെ തോട്ടത്തിലെ ഒരു വൃക്ഷവും ഭംഗിയിൽ അതിനോടു സമമായിരുന്നതുമില്ല.

I have made him fair by the multitude of his branches: so that all the trees of Eden, that were in the garden of God, envied him.കൊമ്പുകളുടെ പെരുപ്പം കൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ അതിന്നു ഭംഗിവരുത്തിയതിനാൽ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ തോട്ടമായ ഏദെനിലെ സകലവൃക്ഷങ്ങളും അതിനോടു അസൂയപ്പെട്ടു.

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Because you have lifted up yourself in height, and he has shot up his top among the thick boughs, and his heart is lifted up in his height;അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: അതു വളർന്നുപൊങ്ങി തുഞ്ചം മേഘങ്ങളോളം നീട്ടി അതിന്റെ ഹൃദയം തന്റെ വളർച്ചയിങ്കൽ ഗർവ്വിച്ചുപോയതുകൊണ്ടു

I have therefore delivered him into the hand of the mighty one of the heathen; he shall surely deal with him: I have driven him out for his wickedness.ഞാൻ അതിനെ ജാതികളിൽ ബലവാനായവന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കും; അവൻ അതിനോടു ഇടപെടും; അതിന്റെ ദുഷ്ടത നിമിത്തം ഞാൻ അതിനെ തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

And strangers, the terrible of the nations, have cut him off, and have left him: upon the mountains and in all the valleys his branches are fallen, and his boughs are broken by all the rivers of the land; and all the people of the earth are gone down from his shadow, and have left him.ജാതികളിൽ ഉഗ്രന്മാരായ അന്യജാതിക്കാർ അതിനെ വെട്ടി തള്ളിയിട്ടു; അതിന്റെ കൊമ്പുകൾ മലകളിലും എല്ലാ താഴ്വരകളിലും വീണു; അതിന്റെ ശാഖകൾ ദേശത്തിലെ എല്ലാതോടുകളുടെയും അരികത്തു ഒടിഞ്ഞുകിടക്കുന്നു; ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലജാതികളും അതിന്റെ തണൽ വിട്ടിറങ്ങി അതിനെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചുപോയി.

Upon his ruin shall all the fowls of the heaven remain, and all the beasts of the field shall be upon his branches:വീണുകിടക്കുന്ന അതിന്റെ തടിമേൽ ആകാശത്തിലെ പറവ ഒക്കെയും പാർക്കും; അതിന്റെ കൊമ്പുകളുടെ ഇടയിലേക്കു കാട്ടുമൃഗം ഒക്കെയും വരും.

To the end that none of all the trees by the waters exalt themselves for their height, neither shoot up their top among the thick boughs, neither their trees stand up in their height, all that drink water: for they are all delivered unto death, to the nether parts of the earth, in the midst of the children of men, with them that go down to the pit.വെള്ളത്തിന്നരികെയുള്ള സകലവൃക്ഷങ്ങളും ഉയരം ഹേതുവായി ഗർവ്വിക്കയോ തുഞ്ചം മേഘങ്ങളോളം നീട്ടുകയോ വെള്ളം കുടിക്കുന്നവരായ അവരുടെ സകലബലശാലികളും തങ്ങളുടെ ഉയർച്ചയിങ്കൽ നിഗളിച്ചു നിൽക്കയോ ചെയ്യാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ; അവരൊക്കെയും മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരുടെ ഇടയിൽ കുഴിയിൽ ഇറങ്ങുന്നവരോടുകൂടെ ഭൂമിയുടെ അധോഭാഗത്തു മരണത്തിന്നു ഏല്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

Thus says the Lord GOD; In the day when he went down to the grave I caused a mourning: I covered the deep for him, and I restrained the floods thereof, and the great waters were stayed: and I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him.യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: അതു പാതാളത്തിൽ ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോയ നാളിൽ ഞാൻ ഒരു വിലാപം കഴിപ്പിച്ചു; അതിന്നുവേണ്ടി ആഴത്തെ മൂടി പെരുവെള്ളം കെട്ടിനില്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം അതിന്റെ നദികളെ തടുത്തു; അതുനിമിത്തം ഞാൻ ലെബാനോനെ കറുപ്പുടുപ്പിച്ചു; കാട്ടിലെ സകല വൃക്ഷങ്ങളും അതുനിമിത്തം ക്ഷീണിച്ചു പോയി.

I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to hell with them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall be comforted in the nether parts of the earth.ഞാൻ അതിനെ കുഴിയിൽ ഇറങ്ങുന്നവരോടുകൂടെ പാതാളത്തിൽ തള്ളിയിട്ടപ്പോൾ, അതിന്റെ വീഴ്ചയുടെ മുക്കത്തിങ്കൽ ഞാൻ ജാതികളെ നടുങ്ങുമാറാക്കി; ഏദെനിലെ സകല വൃക്ഷങ്ങളും ലെബാനോനിലെ ശ്രേഷ്ഠവും ഉത്തമവുമായി വെള്ളം കുടിക്കുന്ന സകലവൃക്ഷങ്ങളും ഭൂമിയുടെ അധോഭാഗത്തു ആശ്വാസം പ്രാപിച്ചു.

They also went down into hell with him unto them that be slain with the sword; and they that were his arm, that dwelt under his shadow in the midst of the heathen.അവയും അതിനോടുകൂടെ വാളാൽ നിഹതന്മാരായവരുടെ അടുക്കൽ പാതാളത്തിൽ ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോയി; അതിന്റെ തുണയായി അതിന്റെ നിഴലിൽ ജാതികളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ പാർത്തവർ തന്നേ.

¹⁸

To whom are you thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? yet shall you be brought down with the trees of Eden unto the nether parts of the earth: you shall lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword. This is Pharaoh and all his multitude, says the Lord GOD.അങ്ങനെ നീ മഹത്വത്തിലും വലിപ്പത്തിലും ഏദെനിലെ വൃക്ഷങ്ങളിൽ ഏതിനോടു തുല്യമാകുന്നു? എന്നാൽ നീ ഏദെനിലെ വൃക്ഷങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഭൂമിയുടെ അധോഭാഗത്തു ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോകേണ്ടിവരും; വാളാൽ നിഹതന്മാരായവരോടുകൂടെ നീ അഗ്രചർമ്മികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ കിടക്കും. ഇതു ഫറവോനും അവന്റെ സകലപുരുഷാരവും തന്നേ എാന്നു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

Ezekiel 32

And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, in the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,പന്ത്രണ്ടാം ആണ്ടു, പന്ത്രണ്ടാം മാസം, ഒന്നാം തിയ്യതി യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say unto him, You are like a young lion of the nations, and you are as a whale in the seas: and you came forth with your rivers, and troubled the waters with your feet, and fouled their rivers.മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ മിസ്രയീംരാജാവായ ഫറവോനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഒരു വിലാപം തുടങ്ങി അവനോടു പറയേണ്ടതു: ജാതികളിൽ ബാലസിംഹമായുള്ളോവേ, നീ നശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ കടലിലെ നക്രംപോലെ ആയിരുന്നു; നീ നദികളിൽ ചാടി കാൽകൊണ്ടു വെള്ളം കലക്കി നദികളെ അഴുക്കാക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

Thus says the Lord GOD; I will therefore spread out my net over you with a company of many people; and they shall bring you up in my net.യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ അനേകം ജാതികളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തെക്കൊണ്ടു നിന്റെ മേൽ എന്റെ വലയെ വീശിക്കും; അവർ എന്റെ വലയിൽ നിന്നെ വലിച്ചെടുക്കും;

Then will I leave you upon the land, I will cast you forth upon the open field, and will cause all the fowls of the heaven to remain upon you, and I will fill the beasts of the whole earth with you.ഞാൻ നിന്നെ കരെക്കു വലിച്ചിടും; നിന്നെ വെളിൻ പ്രദേശത്തു എറിഞ്ഞുകളയും; ആകാശത്തിലെ പറവ ഒക്കെയും നിന്റെമേൽ ഇരിക്കുമാറാക്കി സർവ്വഭൂമിയിലെയും മൃഗങ്ങൾക്കു നിന്നെ ഇരയാക്കി തൃപ്തിവരുത്തും.

And I will lay your flesh upon the mountains, and fill the valleys with your height.ഞാൻ നിന്റെ മാംസത്തെ പർവ്വതങ്ങളിന്മേൽ കൂട്ടി നിന്റെ പിണംകൊണ്ടു താഴ്വരകളെ നിറെക്കും.

I will also water with your blood the land wherein you swim, even to the mountains; and the rivers shall be full of you.ഞാൻ നിന്റെ ചെളിനിലത്തെ മലകളോളം നിന്റെ രക്തംകൊണ്ടു നനെക്കും; നീർച്ചാലുകൾ നിന്നാൽ നിറയും.

And when I shall put you out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light.നിന്നെ കെടുത്തുകളയുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ ആകാശത്തെ മൂടി അതിലെ നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളെ കറുപ്പുടുപ്പിക്കും; ഞാൻ സാര്യനെ മേഘംകൊണ്ടു മറെക്കും; ചന്ദ്രൻ പ്രകാശം നല്കുകയും ഇല്ല.

All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over you, and set darkness upon your land, says the Lord GOD.ആകാശത്തിലെ ശോഭയുള്ള ജ്യോതിസ്സുകളെ ഒക്കെയും ഞാൻ നിന്റെ നിമിത്തം കറുപ്പുടുപ്പിക്കയും നിന്റെ ദേശത്തിൽ അന്ധകാരം വരുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

I will also vex the hearts of many people, when I shall bring your destruction among the nations, into the countries which you have not known.നിന്റെ നാശം ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിലും നീ അറിയാത്ത ദേശങ്ങളോളവും പ്രസിദ്ധമാക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ അനേക ജാതികളുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളെ വ്യസനിപ്പിക്കും.

Yea, I will make many people amazed at you, and their kings shall be horribly afraid for you, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of your fall.ഞാൻ അനേകം ജാതികളെ നിന്നെച്ചൊല്ലി സ്തംഭിക്കുമാറാക്കും; അവരുടെ രാജാക്കന്മാർ കാൺകെ ഞാൻ എന്റെ വാൾ വീശുമ്പോൾ, അവർ നിന്റെ നിമിത്തം അത്യന്തം പേടിച്ചുപോകും; നിന്റെ വീഴ്ചയുടെ നാളിൽ അവർ ഓരോരുത്തനും താന്താന്റെ പ്രാണനെ ഓർത്തു മാത്രതോറും വിറെക്കും.

For thus says the Lord GOD; The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon you.യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ബാബേൽരാജാവിന്റെ വാൾ നിന്റെ നേരെ വരും.

By the swords of the mighty will I cause your multitude to fall, the terrible of the nations, all of them: and they shall spoil the pomp of Egypt, and all the multitude thereof shall be destroyed.വീരന്മാരുടെ വാൾകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ നിന്റെ പുരുഷാരത്തെ വീഴുമാറാക്കും; അവരെല്ലാവരും ജാതികളിൽവെച്ചു ഉഗ്രന്മാർ; അവർ മിസ്രയീമിന്റെ പ്രതാപത്തെ ശൂന്യമാക്കും; അതിലെ പുരുഷാരമൊക്കെയും നശിച്ചുപോകും.

I will destroy also all the beasts thereof from beside the great waters; neither shall the foot of man trouble them any more, nor the hoofs of beasts trouble them.വളരെ വെള്ളത്തിന്നരികെനിന്നു ഞാൻ അതിലെ സകലമൃഗങ്ങളെയും നശിപ്പിക്കും ഇനിമേൽ മനുഷ്യന്റെ കാൽ അതിനെ കലക്കുകയില്ല; മൃഗങ്ങളുടെ കുളമ്പും അതിനെ കലക്കുകയില്ല.

Then will I make their waters deep, and cause their rivers to run like oil, says the Lord GOD.ആ കാലത്തു ഞാൻ അവരുടെ വെള്ളം തെളിയുമാറാക്കി അവരുടെ നദികളെ എണ്ണപോലെ ഒഴുകുമാറാക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

When I shall make the land of Egypt desolate, and the country shall be destitute of that whereof it was full, when I shall strike all them that dwell therein, then shall they know that I am the LORD.ഞാൻ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തെ പാഴാക്കി ദേശം ശൂന്യമായി അതിലുള്ളതൊക്കെയും ഇല്ലാതാകുമ്പോഴും ഞാൻ അതിലെ നിവാസികളെ ഒക്കെയും നശിപ്പിക്കുമ്പോഴും, ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്നു അവർ അറിയും.

This is the lamentation wherewith they shall lament her: the daughters of the nations shall lament her: they shall lament for her, even for Egypt, and for all her multitude, says the Lord GOD.അവർ അതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു വിലപിക്കുന്ന വിലാപം ഇതത്രേ; ജാതികളുടെ പുത്രിമാർ ഇതു ചൊല്ലി വിലപിക്കും; അവർ മിസ്രയീമിനെക്കുറിച്ചും അതിലെ സകലപുരുഷന്മാരെക്കുറിച്ചും ഇതു ചൊല്ലി വിലപിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

It came to pass also in the twelfth year, in the fifteenth day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,പന്ത്രണ്ടാം ആണ്ടു, ആ മാസം പതിനഞ്ചാം തിയ്യതി യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

Son of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt, and cast them down, even her, and the daughters of the famous nations, unto the nether parts of the earth, with them that go down into the pit.മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ മിസ്രയീമിലെ പുരുഷാരത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു വിലപിച്ചു അതിനെയും ശ്രുതിപ്പെട്ട ജാതികളുടെ പുത്രിമാരെയും കുഴിയിൽ ഇറങ്ങുന്നവരോടു കൂടെ ഭൂമിയുടെ അധോഭാഗത്തു തള്ളിയിടുക.

Whom do you pass in beauty? go down, and be you laid with the uncircumcised.സൌന്ദര്യത്തിൽ നീ ആരെക്കാൾ വിശേഷപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു അഗ്രചർമ്മികളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ കിടക്കുക.

They shall fall in the midst of them that are slain by the sword: she is delivered to the sword: draw her and all her multitudes.വാളാൽ നിഹതന്മാരായവരുടെ നടുവിൽ അവർ വീഴും; വാൾ നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; അതിനെയും അതിന്റെ സകലപുരുഷാരത്തെയും വലിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോകുവിൻ.

The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of hell with them that help him: they are gone down, they lie uncircumcised, slain by the sword.വീരന്മാരിൽ ബലവാന്മാരായവർ അവന്റെ സഹായക്കാരോടുകൂടെ പാതാളത്തിന്റെ നടുവിൽനിന്നു അവനോടു സംസാരിക്കും; അഗ്രചർമ്മികളായി വാളാൽ നിഹതന്മാരയവർ ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു അവിടെ കിടക്കുന്നു.

Asshur is there and all her company: his graves are about him: all of them slain, fallen by the sword:അവിടെ അശ്ശൂരും അതിന്റെ സർവ്വസമൂഹവും ഉണ്ടു; അവന്റെ ശവക്കുഴികൾ അവന്റെ ചുറ്റും കിടക്കുന്നു; അവരെല്ലാവരും വാളാൽ നിഹതന്മാരായി വീണവർ തന്നേ.

Whose graves are set in the sides of the pit, and her company is round about her grave: all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which caused terror in the land of the living.അവരുടെ ശവക്കുഴികൾ പാതാളത്തിന്റെ അങ്ങെയറ്റത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അതിന്റെ സമൂഹം അതിന്റെ ശവക്കുഴിയുടെ ചുറ്റും ഇരിക്കുന്നു; ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദേശത്തു ഭീതിപരത്തിയ അവരെല്ലാവരും വാളാൽ നിഹതന്മാരായി വീണിരിക്കുന്നു.

There is Elam and all her multitude round about her grave, all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which are gone down uncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, which caused their terror in the land of the living; yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit.അവിടെ ഏലാമും അതിന്റെ ശവക്കുഴിയുടെ ചുറ്റും അതിന്റെ സകലപുരുഷാരവും ഉണ്ടു; അവർ എല്ലാവരും വാളാൽ നിഹതന്മാരായി വീണു അഗ്രചർമ്മികളായി ഭൂമിയുടെ അധോഭാഗത്തു ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്നു; ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദേശത്തു അവർ നീതി പരത്തി; എങ്കിലും കുഴിയിൽ ഇറങ്ങുന്നവരോടുകൂടെ അവർ ലജ്ജ വഹിക്കുന്നു.

Yea, you shall be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, and shall lie with them that are slain with the sword.നീയോ അഗ്രചർമ്മികളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ തകർന്നുപോകയും വാളാൽ നിഹതന്മാരായവരോടുകൂടെ കിടക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.

Pharaoh shall see them, and shall be comforted over all his multitude, even Pharaoh and all his army slain by the sword, says the Lord GOD.അവരെ ഫറവോൻ കണ്ടു തന്റെ സകലപുരുഷാരത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു ആശ്വസിക്കും; ഫറവോനും അവന്റെ സകലസൈന്യവും വാളാൽ നിഹതന്മാരായിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

For I have caused my terror in the land of the living: and he shall be laid in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that are slain with the sword, even Pharaoh and all his multitude, says the Lord GOD.ഞാനല്ലോ അവന്റെ ഭീതി ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദേശത്തു പരത്തിയതു; ഫറവോനും അവന്റെ പുരുഷാരമൊക്കെയും വാളാൽ നിഹതന്മാരായവരോടുകൂടെ അഗ്രചർമ്മികളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ കിടക്കേണ്ടിവരും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

Ezekiel 33

Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ;

Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ നിന്റെ സ്വജാതിക്കാരോടു പ്രവചിച്ചു പറയേണ്ടതു: ഞാൻ ഒരു ദേശത്തിന്റെ നേരെ വാൾ വരുത്തുമ്പോൾ, ആ ദേശത്തിലെ ജനം തങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽനിന്നു ഒരു പുരുഷനെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു കാവൽക്കാരനായി വെച്ചാൽ,

If when he sees the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;ദേശത്തിന്റെ നേരെ വാൾ വരുന്നതു കണ്ടിട്ടു അവൻ കാഹളം ഊതി ജനത്തെ ഓർമ്മപ്പെടുത്തുമ്പോൾ

Then whosoever hears the sound of the trumpet, and takes not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.ആരെങ്കിലും കാഹളനാദം കേട്ടു കരുതിക്കൊള്ളാതെ ഇരുന്നാൽ വാൾ വന്നു അവനെ ഛേദിച്ചുകളയുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അവന്റെ രക്തം അവന്റെ തലമേൽ തന്നേ ഇരിക്കും.

He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that takes warning shall deliver his soul.അവൻ കാഹളനാദം കേട്ടിട്ടു കരുതിക്കൊണ്ടില്ല; അവന്റെ രക്തം അവന്റെമേൽ ഇരിക്കും; കരുതിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ അവൻ തന്റെ പ്രാണനെ രക്ഷിക്കുമായിരുന്നു.

But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.എന്നാൽ കാവൽക്കാരൻ വാൾ വരുന്നതു കണ്ടു കാഹളം ഊതാതെയും ജനം കരുതിക്കൊള്ളാതെയും ഇരുന്നിട്ടു വാൾ വന്നു അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽനിന്നു ഒരുത്തനെ ഛേദിച്ചുകളയുന്നു എങ്കിൽ, ഇവൻ തന്റെ അകൃത്യംനിമിത്തം ഛേദിക്കപ്പെട്ടുപോയി എങ്കിലും അവന്റെ രക്തം ഞാൻ കാവൽക്കാരനോടു ചോദിക്കും.

Nevertheless, if you warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.എന്നാൽ ദുഷ്ടൻ തന്റെ വഴി വിട്ടുതിരിയേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ അവനെ ഓർമ്മപ്പെടുത്തീട്ടും അവൻ തന്റെ വഴി വിട്ടുതിരിയാഞ്ഞാൽ, അവൻ തന്റെ അകൃത്യംനിമിത്തം മരിക്കും, നീയോ, നിന്റെ പ്രാണനെ രക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

Therefore, you son of man, say unto the children of your people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turns from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sins.മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ നിന്റെ സ്വജാതിക്കാരോടു പറയേണ്ടതു: നീതിമാൻ അതിക്രമം ചെയ്യുന്ന നാളിൽ അവന്റെ നീതി അവനെ രക്ഷിക്കയില്ല; ദുഷ്ടൻ തന്റെ ദുഷ്ടത വിട്ടുതിരിയുന്ന നാളിൽ തന്റെ ദുഷ്ടതയാൽ ഇടറിവീഴുകയില്ല; നീതിമാൻ പാപം ചെയ്യുന്ന നാളിൽ, അവന്നു തന്റെ നീതിയാൽ ജീവിപ്പാൻ കഴികയുമില്ല.

When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he has committed, he shall die for it.നീതിമാൻ ജീവിക്കുമെന്നു ഞാൻ അവനോടു പറയുമ്പോൾ, അവൻ തന്റെ നീതിയിൽ ആശ്രയിച്ചു അകൃത്യം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ, അവന്റെ നീതിപ്രവൃത്തികൾ ഒന്നും അവന്നു കണക്കിടുകയില്ല; അവൻ ചെയ്ത നീതികേടുനിമിത്തം അവൻ മരിക്കും.

If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.പണയം തിരികെ കൊടുക്കയും അപഹരിച്ചതു മടക്കിക്കൊടുക്കയും നീതികേടു ഒന്നും ചെയ്യാതെ ജീവന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ അനുസരിക്കയും ചെയ്താൽ അവൻ മരിക്കാതെ ജീവിക്കും.

None of his sins that he has committed shall be mentioned unto him: he has done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.അവൻ ചെയ്ത പാപം ഒന്നും അവന്നു കണക്കിടുകയില്ല; അവൻ നീതിയും ന്യായവും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ ജീവിക്കും.

Yet the children of your people say, The way of the Lord is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal.എന്നാൽ നിന്റെ സ്വജാതിക്കാർ: കർത്താവിന്റെ വഴി ചൊവ്വുള്ളതല്ല എന്നു പറയുന്നു; അവരുടെ വഴിയത്രേ ചൊവ്വില്ലാതെയിരിക്കുന്നതു.

When the righteous turns from his righteousness, and commits iniquity, he shall even die thereby.നീതിമാൻ തന്റെ നീതി വിട്ടുതിരിഞ്ഞു നീതികേടു പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ അവൻ അതിനാൽ തന്നേ മരിക്കും.

But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby.എന്നാൽ ദുഷ്ടൻ തന്റെ ദുഷ്ടത വിട്ടുതിരിഞ്ഞു നീതിയും ന്യായവും പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ അവൻ അതിനാൽ ജീവിക്കും.

Now the hand of the LORD was upon me in the evening, before he that was escaped came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning; and my mouth was opened, and I was no more dumb.ചാടിപ്പോയവൻ വരുന്നതിന്റെ തലെനാൾ വൈകുന്നേരം യഹോവയുടെ കൈ എന്റെമേൽ വന്നു; രാവിലെ അവൻ എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുമ്പോഴേക്കു യഹോവ എന്റെ വായ് തുറന്നിരുന്നു; അങ്ങനെ എന്റെ വായ് തുറന്നതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ പിന്നെ മിണ്ടാതെ ഇരുന്നില്ല.

Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ: മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ,

Son of man, they that inhabit those wastes of the land of Israel speak, saying, Abraham was one, and he inherited the land: but we are many; the land is given us for inheritance.യിസ്രായേൽദേശത്തിലെ ശൂന്യസ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ പാർക്കുന്നവർ: അബ്രഹാം ഏകനായിരിക്കെ അവന്നു ദേശം അവകാശമായി ലഭിച്ചു; ഞങ്ങളോ പലരാകുന്നു; ഈ ദേശം ഞങ്ങൾക്കു അവകാശമായി ലഭിക്കും എന്നു പറയുന്നു.

Wherefore say unto them, Thus says the Lord GOD; All of you eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood: and shall all of you possess the land?അതുകൊണ്ടു നീ അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതു: യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നിങ്ങൾ മാംസം രക്തത്തോടുകൂടെ തിന്നുകയും നിങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ നോക്കി നമസ്കരിക്കയും രക്തം ചൊരികയും ചെയ്യുന്നു;

All of you stand upon your sword, all of you work abomination, and all of you defile every one his neighbour's wife: and shall all of you possess the land?നിങ്ങൾ ദേശത്തെ കൈവശമാക്കുമോ? നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ വാളിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കയും മ്ളേച്ഛത പ്രവർത്തിക്കയും ഓരോരുത്തനും തന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ ഭാര്യയെ വഷളാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾ ദേശത്തെ കൈവശമാക്കുമോ?

Say you thus unto them, Thus says the Lord GOD; As I live, surely they that are in the wastes shall fall by the sword, and him that is in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that be in the forts and in the caves shall die of the pestilence.നീ അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതു: യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: എന്നാണ, ശൂന്യസ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ പാർക്കുന്നവർ വാൾകൊണ്ടു വീഴും; വെളിൻ പ്രദേശത്തുള്ളവരെ ഞാൻ മൃഗങ്ങൾക്കു ഇരയായി കൊടുക്കും; ദുർഗ്ഗങ്ങളിലും ഗുഹകളിലും ഉള്ളവരോ മഹാമാരികൊണ്ടു മരിക്കും.

For I will lay the land most desolate, and the pomp of her strength shall cease; and the mountains of Israel shall be desolate, that none shall pass through.ഞാൻ ദേശത്തെ പാഴും ശൂന്യവും ആക്കും; അതിന്റെ ബലത്തിന്റെ പ്രതാപം നിന്നുപോകും; യിസ്രായേൽപർവ്വതങ്ങൾ ആരും വഴിപോകാതവണ്ണം ശൂന്യമായിത്തീരും.

Then shall they know that I am the LORD, when I have laid the land most desolate because of all their abominations which they have committed.അവർ ചെയ്ത സകല മ്ളേച്ഛതകളും നിമിത്തം ഞാൻ ദേശത്തെ പാഴും ശൂന്യവുമാക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്നു അവർ അറിയും.

Also, you son of man, the children of your people still are talking against you by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that comes forth from the LORD.മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നിന്റെ സ്വജാതിക്കാർ മതിലുകൾക്കരികത്തും വീട്ടുവാതിൽക്കലുംവെച്ചു നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു സംഭാഷിച്ചു: യഹോവയിങ്കൽനിന്നുണ്ടായ അരുളപ്പാടു എന്തെന്നു വന്നു കേൾപ്പിൻ എന്നു തമ്മിൽതമ്മിലും ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ സഹോദരനോടും പറയുന്നു.

And they come unto you as the people comes, and they sit before you as my people, and they hear your words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they show much love, but their heart goes after their covetousness.സംഘം കൂടിവരുന്നതുപോലെ അവർ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽവന്നു എന്റെ ജനമായിട്ടു നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ ഇരുന്നു നിന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെ കേൾക്കുന്നു; എന്നാൽ അവർ അവയെ ചെയ്യുന്നില്ല; വായ്കൊണ്ടു അവർ വളരെ സ്നേഹം കാണിക്കുന്നു; ഹൃദയമോ, ദുരാഗ്രഹത്തെ പിന്തുടരുന്നു.

And, lo, you are unto them as a very lovely song of one that has a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear your words, but they do them not.നീ അവർക്കു മധുരസ്വരവും വാദ്യനൈപുണ്യവും ഉള്ള ഒരുത്തന്റെ പ്രേമഗീതംപോലെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; അവർ നിന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെ കേൾക്കുന്നു; ചെയ്യുന്നില്ലതാനും.
