Amos 8

Thus has the Lord GOD showed unto me: and behold a basket of summer fruit.യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു എനിക്കു ഒരു കൊട്ട പഴുത്ത പഴം കാണിച്ചുതന്നു.

And he said, Amos, what see you? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end has come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more.ആമോസേ, നീ എന്തു കാണുന്നു എന്നു അവൻ ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു: ഒരു കൊട്ട പഴുത്തപഴം എന്നു ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു. യഹോവ എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു: എന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേലിന്നു പഴുപ്പു വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ ഇനി അവരെ ശിക്ഷിക്കാതെ വിടുകയില്ല.

And the songs of the temple shall be wailings in that day, says the Lord GOD: there shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence.അന്നാളിൽ മന്ദിരത്തിലെ ഗീതങ്ങൾ മുറവിളിയാകും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു. ശവം അനവധി! എല്ലാടത്തും അവയെ എറിഞ്ഞുകളയും; മിണ്ടരുതു.

Hear this, O all of you that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail,ഞങ്ങൾ ഏഫയെ കുറെച്ചു ശേക്കേലിനെ വലുതാക്കി കള്ളത്തുലാസ്സുകൊണ്ടു വഞ്ചന പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു എളിയവരെ പണത്തിന്നും ദരിദ്രന്മാരെ ഒരു കൂട്ടു ചെരിപ്പിന്നും മേടിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും കോതമ്പിന്റെ പതിർ വിൽക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും

Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?ധാന്യവ്യാപാരം ചെയ്‍വാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം അമാവാസിയും കോതമ്പുപീടിക തുറന്നുവെപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം ശബ്ബത്തും എപ്പോൾ കഴിഞ്ഞുപോകും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു,

That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat?ദരിദ്രന്മാരെ വിഴുങ്ങുവാനും ദേശത്തിലെ സാധുക്കളെ ഇല്ലാതാക്കുവാനും പോകുന്നവരേ, ഇതു കേൾപ്പിൻ.

The LORD has sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works.ഞാൻ അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളിൽ യാതൊന്നും ഒരുനാളും മറക്കയില്ല എന്നു യഹോവ യാക്കോബിന്റെ മഹിമയെച്ചൊല്ലി സത്യം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwells therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.അതു നിമിത്തം ഭൂമി നടുങ്ങുകയും അതിൽ പാർക്കുന്ന ഏവനും ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോകയും ചെയ്കയില്ലയോ? അതു മുഴുവനും നീലനദിപോലെ പൊങ്ങും; മിസ്രയീമിലെ നദിപോലെ പൊങ്ങുകയും താഴുകയും ചെയ്യും.

And it shall come to pass in that day, says the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:അന്നാളിൽ ഞാൻ ഉച്ചെക്കു സൂര്യനെ അസ്തമിപ്പിക്കയും പട്ടാപ്പകൽ ഭൂമിയെ ഇരുട്ടാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.

And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day.ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഉത്സവങ്ങളെ ദുഃഖമായും നിങ്ങളുടെ ഗീതങ്ങളെ വിലാപമായും മാറ്റും; ഞാൻ ഏതു അരയിലും രട്ടും ഏതു തലയിലും കഷണ്ടിയും വരുത്തും; ഞാൻ അതിനെ ഒരു ഏകജാതനെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള വിലാപംപോലെയും അതിന്റെ അവസാനത്തെ കൈപ്പുള്ള ദിവസംപോലെയും ആക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

Behold, the days come, says the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:അപ്പത്തിന്നായുള്ള വിശപ്പല്ല വെള്ളത്തിന്നായുള്ള ദാഹവുമല്ല, യഹോവയുടെ വചനങ്ങളെ കേൾക്കേണ്ടതിന്നുള്ള വിശപ്പുതന്നേ ഞാൻ ദേശത്തേക്കു അയക്കുന്ന നാളുകൾ വരുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run back and forth to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.അന്നു അവർ സമുദ്രംമുതൽ സമുദ്രംവരെയും വടക്കുമുതൽ കിഴക്കുവരെയും ഉഴന്നുചെന്നു യഹോവയുടെ വചനം അന്വേഷിച്ചു അലഞ്ഞുനടക്കും; കണ്ടുകിട്ടുകയില്ലതാനും.

In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst.അന്നാളിൽ സൌന്ദര്യമുള്ള കന്യകമാരും യൌവനക്കാരും ദാഹംകൊണ്ടു ബോധംകെട്ടുവീഴും.

They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Your god, O Dan, lives; and, The manner of Beersheba lives; even they shall fall, and never rise up again.ദാനേ, നിന്റെ ദൈവത്താണ, ബേർ-ശേബാമാർഗ്ഗത്താണ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞുംകൊണ്ടു ശമർയ്യയുടെ അകൃത്യത്തെച്ചൊല്ലി സത്യം ചെയ്യുന്നവർ വീഴും; ഇനി എഴുന്നേൽക്കയുമില്ല.

Amos 9

I saw the LORD standing upon the altar: and he said, Strike the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake: and cut them in the head, all of them; and I will slay the last of them with the sword: he that flees of them shall not flee away, and he that escapes of them shall not be delivered.യഹോവ യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നു മീതെ നില്ക്കുന്നതു ഞാൻ കണ്ടു; അവൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതെന്തെന്നാൽ: ഉത്തരങ്ങൾ കുലുങ്ങുമാറു നീ പോതികയെ അടിക്ക; അവ എല്ലാവരുടെയും തലമേൽ വീഴുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം തകർത്തു കളക; അവരുടെ സന്തതിയെ ഞാൻ വാൾ കൊണ്ടു കൊല്ലും; അവരിൽ ആരും ഓടിപ്പോകയില്ല. അവരിൽ ആരും വഴുതിപ്പോകയുമില്ല.

Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down:അവർ പാതാളത്തിൽ തുരന്നുകടന്നാലും അവിടെനിന്നു എന്റെ കൈ അവരെ പിടിക്കും; അവർ ആകാശത്തിലേക്കു കയറിപ്പോയാലും അവിടെനിന്നു ഞാൻ അവരെ ഇറക്കും.

And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them:അവർ കർമ്മേലിന്റെ കൊടുമുടിയിൽ ഒളിച്ചിരുന്നാലും ഞാൻ അവരെ തിരഞ്ഞു അവിടെനിന്നു പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുവരും; അവർ എന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടിയിൽനിന്നു സമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ അടിയിൽ മറഞ്ഞിരുന്നാലും ഞാൻ അവിടെ സർപ്പത്തോടു കല്പിച്ചിട്ടു അതു അവരെ കടിക്കും.

And though they go into captivity before their enemies, thence will I command the sword, and it shall slay them: and I will set mine eyes upon them for evil, and not for good.അവർ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ പ്രവാസത്തിലേക്കു പോയാലും ഞാൻ അവിടെ വാളിനോടു കല്പിച്ചിട്ടു അതു അവരെ കൊല്ലും. നന്മെക്കായിട്ടല്ല തിന്മെക്കായിട്ടു തന്നേ ഞാൻ അവരുടെ മേൽ ദൃഷ്ടിവെക്കും.

And the Lord GOD of hosts is he that touches the land, and it shall melt, and all that dwell therein shall mourn: and it shall rise up wholly like a flood; and shall be drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ദേശത്തെ തൊടുന്നു; അതു ഉരുകിപ്പോകുന്നു; അതിൽ പാർക്കുന്നവർ ഒക്കെയും വിലപിക്കും; അതു മുഴുവനും നീലനദിപോലെ പൊങ്ങുകയും മിസ്രയീമിലെ നദിപോലെ താഴുകയും ചെയ്യും.

It is he that builds his stories in the heaven, and has founded his troop in the earth; he that calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name.അവൻ ആകാശത്തിൽ തന്റെ മാളികമുറികളെ പണിയുകയും ഭൂമിയിൽ തന്റെ കമാനത്തിന്നു അടിസ്ഥാനം ഇടുകയും സമുദ്രത്തിലെ വെള്ളത്തെ വിളിച്ചു ഭൂതലത്തിൽ പകരുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു; യഹോവ എന്നാകുന്നു അവന്റെ നാമം.

Are all of you not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? says the LORD. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt? and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir?യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളേ നിങ്ങൾ എനിക്കു കൂശ്യരെപ്പോലെ അല്ലയോ എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു; ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേലിനെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നും ഫെലിസ്ത്യരെ കഫ്തോരിൽനിന്നും അരാമ്യരെ കീറിൽനിന്നും കൊണ്ടുവന്നില്ലയോ?

Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, says the LORD.യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടി പാപമുള്ള രാജ്യത്തിന്മേൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ അതിനെ ഭൂതലത്തിൽനിന്നു നശിപ്പിക്കും; എങ്കിലും ഞാൻ യാക്കോബ്ഗൃഹത്തെ മുഴുവനും നശിപ്പിക്കയില്ല എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.അരിപ്പകൊണ്ടു അരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തെ സകലജാതികളുടെയും ഇടയിൽ അരിപ്പാൻ കല്പിക്കും; ഒരു മണിപോലും നിലത്തു വീഴുകയില്ല.

All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us.അനർത്ഥം ഞങ്ങളെ തുടർന്നെത്തുകയില്ല, എത്തിപ്പിടക്കയുമില്ല എന്നു പറയുന്നവരായി എന്റെ ജനത്തിലുള്ള സകലപാപികളും വാൾകൊണ്ടു മരിക്കും.

In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:അവർ എദോമിൽ ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവരുടെയും എന്റെ നാമം വിളക്കപ്പെടുന്ന സകല ജാതികളുടെയും ദേശത്തെ കൈവശമാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു വീണുപോയ

That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, says the LORD that does this.ദാവീദിൻ കൂടാരത്തെ ഞാൻ അന്നാളിൽ നിവിർത്തുകയും അതിന്റെ പിളർപ്പുകളെ അടെക്കയും അവന്റെ ഇടിവുകളെ തീർക്കുകയും അതിനെ പുരാതനകാലത്തിൽ എന്നപോലെ പണിയുകയും ചെയ്യും എന്നാകുന്നു ഇതു അനുഷ്ഠിക്കുന്ന യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that sows seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.ഉഴുന്നവൻ കൊയ്യുന്നവനെയും മുന്തിരിപ്പഴം ചവിട്ടുന്നവൻ വിതെക്കുന്നവനെയും തുടർന്നെത്തുകയും പർവ്വതങ്ങൾ പുതുവീഞ്ഞു പൊഴിക്കയും എല്ലാ കുന്നുകളും ഉരുകിപ്പോകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന നാളുകൾ വരും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ എന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പ്രവാസികളെ മടക്കിവരുത്തും ശൂന്യമായിപ്പോയിരുന്ന പട്ടണങ്ങളെ അവർ പണിതു പാർക്കയും മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കി അവയിലെ വീഞ്ഞു കുടിക്കയും തോട്ടങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കി അവയിലെ ഫലം അനുഭവിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, says the LORD your God.ഞാൻ അവരെ അവരുടെ ദേശത്തു നടും; ഞാൻ അവർക്കു കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന ദേശത്തുനിന്നു അവരെ ഇനി പറിച്ചുകളകയുമില്ല എന്നു നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

Obadiah 1

The vision of Obadiah. Thus says the Lord GOD concerning Edom; We have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise all of you, and let us rise up against her in battle.ഓബദ്യാവിന്റെ ദർശനം. യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു എദോമിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; നാം യഹോവയിങ്കൽനിന്നു ഒരു വർത്തമാനം കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഒരു ദൂതനെ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; എഴുന്നേല്പിൻ; നാം അവളുടെ നേരെ യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പറപ്പെടുക.

Behold, I have made you small among the heathen: you are greatly despised.ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ അല്പമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ അത്യന്തം ധിക്കരിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

The pride of yours heart has deceived you, you that dwell in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that says in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground?പാറപ്പിളർപ്പുകളിൽ പാർക്കുന്നവനും ഉന്നതവാസമുള്ളവനും ആർ എന്നെ നിലത്തു തള്ളിയിടും എന്നു ഹൃദയത്തിൽ പറയുന്നവനുമായവനേ, നിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിന്റെ അഹങ്കാരം നിന്നെ ചതിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

Though you exalt yourself as the eagle, and though you set your nest among the stars, thence will I bring you down, says the LORD.നീ കഴുകനേപ്പോലെ ഉയർന്നാലും, നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ കൂടുവെച്ചാലും, അവിടെനിന്നു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ഇറക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

If thieves came to you, if robbers by night, (how are you cut off!) would they not have stolen till they had enough? if the grape-gatherers came to you, would they not leave some grapes?കള്ളന്മാർ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നാലോ, രാത്രിയിൽ പിടിച്ചുപറിക്കാർ വന്നാലോ--നീ എങ്ങനെ നശിച്ചുപോയിരിക്കുന്നു--അവർ തങ്ങൾക്കു മതിയാകുവോളം മോഷ്ടിക്കയില്ലയോ? മുന്തിരിപ്പഴം പറിക്കുന്നവർ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നാൽ അവർ ഏതാനും കാലാപ്പഴം ശേഷിപ്പിക്കയില്ലയോ?

How are the things of Esau searched out! how are his hidden things sought up!ഏശാവിന്നുള്ളവരെ കണ്ടുപിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതും അവന്റെ നിക്ഷേപങ്ങളെ തിരഞ്ഞു കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നതും എങ്ങനെ?

All the men of your confederacy have brought you even to the border: the men that were at peace with you have deceived you, and prevailed against you; that they eat your bread have laid a wound under you: there is none understanding in him.നിന്നോടു സഖ്യതയുള്ളവരൊക്കെയും നിന്നെ അതിരോളം അയച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു; നിന്നോടു സന്ധിയുള്ളവർ നിന്നെ ചതിച്ചു തോല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ ആഹാരം ഭക്ഷിക്കുന്നവർ നിനക്കു കണിവെക്കുന്നു; അവന്നു ബുദ്ധി ഒട്ടും ഇല്ല.

Shall I not in that day, says the LORD, even destroy the wise men out of Edom, and understanding out of the mount of Esau?അന്നാളിൽ ഞാൻ എദോമിൽനിന്നു ജ്ഞാനികളെയും ഏശാവിന്റെ പർവ്വതത്തിൽ നിന്നു വിവേകത്തെയും നശിപ്പിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

And your mighty men, O Teman, shall be dismayed, to the end that every one of the mount of Esau may be cut off by slaughter.ഏശാവിന്റെ പർവ്വതത്തിൽ ഏവനും കുലയാൽ ഛേദിക്കപ്പെടുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം തേമാനേ, നിന്റെ വീരന്മാർ ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോകും.

For your violence against your brother Jacob shame shall cover you, and you shall be cut off for ever.നിന്റെ സഹോദരനായ യാക്കോബിനോടു നീ ചെയ്ത സാഹസംനിമിത്തം ലജ്ജ നിന്നെ മൂടും; നീ സദാകാലത്തേക്കും ഛേദിക്കപ്പെടും.

In the day that you stood on the other side, in the day that the strangers carried away captive his forces, and foreigners entered into his gates, and cast lots upon Jerusalem, even you were as one of them.നീ എതിരെ നിന്ന നാളിൽ അന്യജാതിക്കാർ അവന്റെ സമ്പത്തു അപഹരിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോകയും അന്യദേശക്കാർ അവന്റെ ഗോപുരങ്ങളിൽ കടന്നു യെരൂശലേമിന്നു ചീട്ടിടുകയും ചെയ്ത നാളിൽ തന്നേ, നീയും അവരിൽ ഒരുത്തനെപ്പോലെ ആയിരുന്നു.

But you should not have looked on the day of your brother in the day that he became a stranger; neither should you have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; neither should you have spoken proudly in the day of distress.നിന്റെ സഹോദരന്റെ ദിവസം, അവന്റെ അനർത്ഥദിവസം തന്നെ, നീ കണ്ടു രസിക്കേണ്ടതല്ല; നീ യെഹൂദ്യരെക്കുറിച്ചു അവരുടെ അപായദിവസത്തിൽ സന്തോഷിക്കേണ്ടതല്ല; അവരുടെ കഷ്ടദിവസത്തിൽ നീ വമ്പു പറയേണ്ടതല്ല.

You should not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; yea, you should not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor have laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity;എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ അപായദിവസത്തിൽ നീ അവരുടെ വാതിലിന്നകത്തു കടക്കേണ്ടതല്ല; അവരുടെ അപായദിവസത്തിൽ നീ അവരുടെ അനർത്ഥം കണ്ടു രസിക്കേണ്ടതല്ല; അവരുടെ അപായദിവസത്തിൽ അവരുടെ സമ്പത്തിന്മേൽ നീ കൈ വെക്കേണ്ടതല്ല.

Neither should you have stood in the crossway, to cut off those of his that did escape; neither should you have delivered up those of his that did remain in the day of distress.അവന്റെ പലായിതന്മാരെ ഛേദിച്ചുകളവാൻ നീ വഴിത്തലെക്കൽ നിൽക്കേണ്ടതല്ല; കഷ്ടദിവസത്തിൽ അവന്നു ശേഷിച്ചവരെ നീ ഏല്പിച്ചുകൊടുക്കേണ്ടതുമല്ല.

For the day of the LORD is near upon all the heathen: as you have done, it shall be done unto you: your reward shall return upon yours own head.സകലജാതികൾക്കും യഹോവയുടെ നാൾ അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ നിന്നോടും ചെയ്യും; നിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തി നിന്റെ തലമേൽ തന്നേ മടങ്ങിവരും.

For as all of you have drunk upon my holy mountain, so shall all the heathen drink continually, yea, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, and they shall be as though they had not been.നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധപർവ്വതത്തിൽവെച്ചു കുടിച്ചതുപോലെ സകലജാതികളും ഇടവിടാതെ കുടിക്കും; അവർ മോന്തിക്കുടിക്കയും ജനിക്കാത്തവരെപ്പോലെ ആകയും ചെയ്യും.

But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.എന്നാൽ സീയോൻ പർവ്വതത്തിൽ ഒരു രക്ഷിത ഗണം ഉണ്ടാകും; അതു വിശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കും; യാക്കോബ്ഗൃഹം തങ്ങളുടെ അവകാശങ്ങളെ കൈവശമാക്കും.

And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD has spoken it.അന്നു യാക്കോബ് ഗൃഹം തീയും യോസേഫ്ഗൃഹം ജ്വാലയും ഏശാവുഗൃഹം താളടിയും ആയിരിക്കും; അവർ അവരെ കത്തിച്ചു ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും; ഏശാവുഗൃഹത്തിന്നു ശേഷിപ്പു ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല; യഹോവയല്ലോ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതു.

And they of the south shall possess the mount of Esau; and they of the plain the Philistines: and they shall possess the fields of Ephraim, and the fields of Samaria: and Benjamin shall possess Gilead.തെക്കേ ദേശക്കാർ ഏശാവിന്റെ പർവ്വതവും താഴ്വീതിയിലുള്ളവർ ഫെലിസ്ത്യദേശവും കൈവശമാക്കും; അവർ എഫ്രയീംപ്രദേശത്തെയും ശമർയ്യാപ്രദേശത്തെയും കൈവശമാക്കും; ബെന്യാമീനോ ഗിലെയാദിനെ കൈവശമാക്കും.

And the captivity of this host of the children of Israel shall possess that of the Canaanites, even unto Zarephath; and the captivity of Jerusalem, which is in Sepharad, shall possess the cities of the south.ഈ കോട്ടയിൽനിന്നു പ്രവാസികളായി പോയ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ സാരെഫാത്ത്‌വരെ കനാന്യർക്കുള്ളതും സെഫാരദിലുള്ള യെരൂശലേമ്യപ്രവാസികൾ തെക്കെദേശത്തെ പട്ടണങ്ങളും കൈവശമാക്കും.

And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD's.ഏശാവിന്റെ പർവ്വതത്തെ ന്യായംവിധിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു രക്ഷകന്മാർ സീയോൻ പർവ്വതത്തിൽ കയറിച്ചെല്ലും; രാജത്വം യഹോവെക്കു ആകും.
