Furthermore then we plead to you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as all of you have received of us how all of you ought to walk and to please God, so all of you would abound more and more.ഒടുവിൽ സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ദൈവ പ്രസാദം ലഭിപ്പാന്തക്കവണ്ണം നിങ്ങൾ എങ്ങനെ നടക്കേണം എന്നു ഞങ്ങളോടു ഗ്രഹിച്ചതുപോലെ — നിങ്ങൾ നടക്കുന്നതുപോലെ തന്നേ — ഇനിയും അധികം വർദ്ധിച്ചു വരേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ കർത്താവായ യേശുവിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ നിങ്ങളോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that all of you should abstain from fornication:ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ഇഷ്ടമോ നിങ്ങളുടെ ശുദ്ധീകരണം തന്നേ. നിങ്ങൾ ദുർന്നടപ്പു വിട്ടൊഴിഞ്ഞു

That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;ഓരോരുത്തൻ ദൈവത്തെ അറിയാത്ത ജാതികളെപ്പോലെ കാമവികാരത്തിലല്ല,

Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:വിശുദ്ധീകരണത്തിലും മാനത്തിലും താന്താന്റെ പാത്രത്തെ നേടിക്കൊള്ളട്ടെ.

That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.ഈ കാര്യത്തിൽ ആരും അതിക്രമിക്കയും സഹോദരനെ ചതിക്കയും അരുതു; ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളോടു മുമ്പെ പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ ഈ വകെക്കു ഒക്കെയും പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ കർത്താവല്ലോ.

For God has not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.ദൈവം നമ്മെ അശുദ്ധിക്കല്ല വിശുദ്ധീകരണത്തിന്നത്രേ വിളിച്ചതു.

He therefore that despises, despises not man, but God, who has also given unto us his holy Spirit.ആകയാൽ തുച്ഛീകരിക്കുന്നവൻ മനുഷ്യനെ അല്ല, തന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനെ നിങ്ങൾക്കു തരുന്ന ദൈവത്തെ തന്നേ തുച്ഛീകരിക്കുന്നു.

But as concerning brotherly love all of you need not that I write unto you: for all of you yourselves are taught of God to love one another.സഹോദരപ്രീതിയെക്കുറിച്ചു നിങ്ങൾക്കു എഴുതുവാൻ ആവശ്യമില്ല; അന്യോന്യം സ്നേഹിപ്പാൻ നിങ്ങൾ ദൈവത്താൽ ഉപദേശം പ്രാപിച്ചതല്ലാതെ

And indeed all of you do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we plead to you, brethren, that all of you increase more and more;മക്കെദൊന്യയിൽ എങ്ങുമുള്ള സഹോദരന്മാരോടു ഒക്കെയും അങ്ങനെ ആചരിച്ചും പോരുന്നുവല്ലോ; എന്നാൽ സഹോദരന്മാരേ, അതിൽ നിങ്ങൾ അധികമായി വർദ്ധിച്ചുവരേണം എന്നും

And that all of you study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;പുറത്തുള്ളവരോടു മര്യാദയായി നടപ്പാനും ഒന്നിന്നും മുട്ടില്ലാതിരിപ്പാനും വേണ്ടി

That all of you may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that all of you may have lack of nothing.ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളോടു ആജ്ഞാപിച്ചതുപോലെ അടങ്ങിപ്പാർപ്പാനും സ്വന്തകാര്യം നോക്കുവാനും സ്വന്തകൈകൊണ്ടു വേല ചെയ്‍വാനും അഭിമാനം തോന്നേണം എന്നും നിങ്ങളെ പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that all of you sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങൾ പ്രത്യാശയില്ലാത്ത മറ്റുള്ളവരെപ്പോലെ ദുഃഖിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിദ്രകൊള്ളുന്നവരെക്കുറിച്ചു അറിവില്ലാതിരിക്കരുതു എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.യേശു മരിക്കയും ജീവിച്ചെഴുന്നേൽക്കയും ചെയ്തു എന്നു നാം വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ദൈവം നിദ്രകൊണ്ടവരെയും യേശുമുഖാന്തരം അവനോടുകൂടെ വരുത്തും.

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.കർത്താവിന്റെ പ്രത്യക്ഷതവരെ ജീവനോടെ ശേഷിക്കുന്നവരായ നാം നിദ്രകൊണ്ടവർക്കു മുമ്പാകയില്ല എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ കർത്താവിന്റെ വചനത്താൽ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:കർത്താവു താൻ ഗംഭീരനാദത്തോടും പ്രധാനദൂതന്റെ ശബ്ദത്തോടും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കാഹളത്തോടുംകൂടെ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽനിന്നു ഇറങ്ങിവരികയും ക്രിസ്തുവിൽ മരിച്ചവർ മുമ്പെ ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേൽക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.പിന്നെ ജീവനോടെ ശേഷിക്കുന്ന നാം അവരോടു ഒരുമിച്ചു ആകാശത്തിൽ കർത്താവിനെ എതിരേല്പാൻ മേഘങ്ങളിൽ എടുക്കപ്പെടും; ഇങ്ങനെ നാം എപ്പോഴും കർത്താവിനോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കും.

Wherefore comfort one another with these words.ഈ വചനങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ടു അന്യോന്യം ആശ്വസിപ്പിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ.

1 Thessalonians 5

But of the times and the seasons, brethren, all of you have no need that I write unto you.സഹോദരന്മാരേ, കാലങ്ങളെയും സമയങ്ങളെയും കുറിച്ചു നിങ്ങളെ എഴുതിയറിയിപ്പാൻ ആവശ്യമില്ല.

For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.കള്ളൻ രാത്രിയിൽ വരുമ്പോലെ കർത്താവിന്റെ നാൾ വരുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ തന്നേ നന്നായി അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ.

For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.അവർ സമാധാനമെന്നും നിർഭയമെന്നും പറയുമ്പോൾ ഗർഭിണിക്കു പ്രസവവേദന വരുമ്പോലെ അവർക്കു പെട്ടെന്നു നാശം വന്നു ഭവിക്കും; അവർക്കു തെറ്റിയൊഴിയാവതുമല്ല.

But all of you, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.എന്നാൽ സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ആ നാൾ കള്ളൻ എന്നപോലെ നിങ്ങളെ പിടിപ്പാൻ നിങ്ങൾ ഇരുട്ടിലുള്ളവരല്ല;

All of you are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും വെളിച്ചത്തിന്റെ മക്കളും പകലിന്റെ മക്കളും ആകുന്നു; നാം രാത്രിക്കും ഇരുളിന്നുമുള്ളവരല്ല.

Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.ആകയാൽ നാം ശേഷമുള്ളവരെപ്പോലെ ഉറങ്ങാതെ ഉണർന്നും സുബോധമായുമിരിക്ക.

For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.ഉറങ്ങുന്നവർ രാത്രിയിൽ ഉറങ്ങുന്നു. മദ്യപിക്കുന്നവർ രാത്രിയിൽ മദ്യപിക്കുന്നു.

But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.നാമോ പകലിന്നുള്ളവരാകയാൽ വിശ്വാസവും സ്നേഹവും എന്ന കവചവും ശിരസ്ത്രമായി രക്ഷയുടെ പ്രത്യാശയും ധരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു സുബോധമായിരിക്ക.

For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,ദൈവം നമ്മെ കോപത്തിന്നല്ല,

Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.നാം ഉണർന്നിരുന്നാലും ഉറങ്ങിയാലും തന്നോടുകൂടെ ജീവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നമുക്കു വേണ്ടി മരിച്ച നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുമൂലം രക്ഷയെ പ്രാപിപ്പാനത്രേ നിയമിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതു.

Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also all of you do.ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ചെയ്തുവരുന്നതുപോലെ അന്യോന്യം പ്രബോധിപ്പിച്ചും തമ്മിൽ ആത്മിക വർദ്ധനവരുത്തിയും പോരുവിൻ.

And we plead to you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ അദ്ധ്വാനിക്കയും കർത്താവിൽ നിങ്ങളെ ഭരിക്കയും പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവരെ അറിഞ്ഞു അവരുടെ വേലനിമിത്തം

And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves.ഏറ്റവും സ്നേഹത്തോടെ വിചാരിക്കേണം എന്നു നിങ്ങളോടു അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു. തമ്മിൽ സമാധാനമായിരിപ്പിൻ.

Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളെ പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കുന്നതു: ക്രമം കെട്ടവരെ ബുദ്ധിയുപദേശിപ്പിൻ: ഉൾക്കരുത്തില്ലാത്തവരെ ധൈര്യപ്പെടുത്തുവിൻ; ബലഹീനരെ താങ്ങുവിൻ; എല്ലാവരോടും ദീർഘക്ഷമ കാണിപ്പിൻ.

See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.ആരും തിന്മക്കു പകരം തിന്മ ചെയ്യാതിരിപ്പാൻ നോക്കുവിൻ; തമ്മിലും എല്ലാവരോടും എപ്പോഴും നന്മ ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരിപ്പിൻ;

Rejoice evermore.എപ്പോഴും സന്തോഷിപ്പിൻ;

Pray without ceasing.ഇടവിടാതെ പ്രാർത്ഥിപ്പിൻ

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.എല്ലാറ്റിന്നും സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്‍വിൻ; ഇതല്ലോ നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിൽ ദൈവേഷ്ടം.

Quench not the Spirit.ആത്മാവിനെ കെടുക്കരുതു.

Despise not prophesyings.പ്രവചനം തുച്ഛീകരിക്കരുതു.

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.സകലവും ശോധന ചെയ്തു നല്ലതു മുറുകെ പിടിപ്പിൻ.

Abstain from all appearance of evil.സകലവിധദോഷവും വിട്ടകലുവിൻ.

And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.സമാധാനത്തിന്റെ ദൈവം തന്നേ നിങ്ങളെ മുഴുവനും ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ; നിങ്ങളുടെ ആത്മാവും പ്രാണനും ദേഹവും അശേഷം നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ പ്രത്യക്ഷതയിൽ അനിന്ദ്യമായി വെളിപ്പെടുംവണ്ണം കാക്കപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ.

Faithful is he that calls you, who also will do it.നിങ്ങളെ വിളിക്കുന്നവൻ വിശ്വസ്തൻ ആകുന്നു; അവൻ അതു നിവർത്തിക്കും.

Brethren, pray for us.സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ഞങ്ങൾക്കു വേണ്ടി പ്രാർത്ഥിപ്പിൻ.

²⁶

Greet all the brethren with an holy kiss.സകല സഹോദരന്മാരെയും വിശുദ്ധചുംബനത്താൽ വന്ദനം ചെയ്‍വിൻ.

I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren.കർത്താവാണ, സഹോദരന്മാരെ ഒക്കെയും ഈ ലേഖനം വായിച്ചു കേൾപ്പിക്കേണം.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ കൃപ നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ.

2 Thessalonians 1

Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:പൌലൊസും സില്വാനൊസും തിമൊഥെയൊസും പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിലും കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിലുമുള്ള തെസ്സലൊനീക്യസഭെക്കു എഴുതുന്നതു:

Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിങ്കൽ നിന്നും കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിങ്കൽനിന്നും നിങ്ങൾക്കു കൃപയും സമാധാനവും ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ.

We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all toward each other abounds;സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ വിശ്വാസം ഏറ്റവും വർദ്ധിച്ചും ആളാംപ്രതി നിങ്ങൾക്കു എല്ലാവർക്കും അന്യോന്യം സ്നേഹം പെരുകിയും വരികയാൽ ഞങ്ങൾ യോഗ്യമാകുംവണ്ണം ദൈവത്തിന്നു എപ്പോഴും നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്‍വാൻ കടമ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that all of you endure:അതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങൾ സഹിക്കുന്ന സകല ഉപദ്രവങ്ങളിലും കഷ്ടങ്ങളിലുമുള്ള നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹിഷ്ണതയും വിശ്വാസവും നിമിത്തം ഞങ്ങൾ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സഭകളിൽ നിങ്ങളെച്ചൊല്ലി പ്രശംസിക്കുന്നു.

Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that all of you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which all of you also suffer:അതു നിങ്ങൾ കഷ്ടപ്പെടുവാൻ ഹേതുവായിരിക്കുന്ന ദൈവരാജ്യത്തിന്നു നിങ്ങളെ യോഗ്യന്മാരായി എണ്ണും എന്നിങ്ങനെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നീതിയുള്ള വിധിക്കു അടയാളം ആകുന്നു.

Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;കർത്താവായ യേശു തന്റെ ശക്തിയുള്ള ദൂതന്മാരുമായി സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ നിന്നു അഗ്നിജ്വാലയിൽ പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി

And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,ദൈവത്തെ അറിയാത്തവർക്കും നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവായ യേശുവിന്റെ സുവിശേഷം അനുസരിക്കാത്തവർക്കും പ്രതികാരം കൊടുക്കുമ്പോൾ

In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:നിങ്ങളെ പീഡിപ്പിക്കുന്നവർക്കു പീഡയും പീഡ അനുഭവിക്കുന്ന നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഞങ്ങളോടു കൂടെ ആശ്വാസവും പകരം നല്കുന്നതു ദൈവസന്നിധിയിൽ നീതിയല്ലോ.

Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;ആ നാളിൽ അവൻ തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധന്മാരിൽ മഹത്വപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നും ഞങ്ങളുടെ സാക്ഷ്യം നിങ്ങൾ വിശ്വസിച്ചതുപോലെ വിശ്വസിച്ച എല്ലാവരിലും താൻ അതിശയവിഷയം ആകേണ്ടതിന്നും

When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.വരുമ്പോൾ സുവിശേഷം അനുസരിക്കാത്തവർ കർത്താവിന്റെ സന്നിധാനവും അവന്റെ വല്ലഭത്വത്തോടുകൂടിയ മഹത്വവും വിട്ടകുന്നു നിത്യനാശം എന്ന ശിക്ഷാവിധി അനുഭവിക്കും.

Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞങ്ങൾ നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെയും കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെയും കൃപയാൽ നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവായ യേശുവിന്റെ നാമം നിങ്ങളിലും നിങ്ങൾ അവനിലും മഹത്വപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു

That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and all of you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.നമ്മുടെ ദൈവം നിങ്ങളെ തന്റെ വിളിക്കു യോഗ്യരായി എണ്ണി സൽഗുണത്തിലുള്ള സകലതാല്പര്യവും വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയും ശക്തിയോടെ പൂർണ്ണമാക്കിത്തരേണം എന്നു നിങ്ങൾക്കു വേണ്ടി എപ്പോഴും പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുന്നു.
