And Solomon determined to build an house for the name of the LORD, and an house for his kingdom.അനന്തരം ശലോമോൻ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിന്നു ഒരു ആലയവും തനിക്കു ഒരു അരമനയും പണിയുവാൻ നിശ്ചയിച്ചു.

And Solomon told out threescore and ten thousand men to bear burdens, and fourscore thousand to hew in the mountain, and three thousand and six hundred to oversee them.ശലോമോൻ എഴുപതിനായിരം ചുമട്ടുകാരെയും മലയിൽ എണ്പതിനായിരം കല്ലുവെട്ടുകാരെയും അവർക്കു മേൽവിചാരകന്മാരായി മൂവായിരത്തറുനൂറുപേരെയും നിയമിച്ചു.

And Solomon sent to Huram the king of Tyre, saying, As you did deal with David my father, and did send him cedars to build him an house to dwell therein, even so deal with me.പിന്നെ ശലോമോൻ സോർരാജാവായ ഹൂരാമിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ആളയച്ചു പറയിച്ചതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: എന്റെ അപ്പനായ ദാവീദ് തനിക്കു പാർപ്പാൻ ഒരു അരമന പണിയേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന്നു ദേവദാരു കൊടുത്തയച്ചതിൽ നീ അവനോടു പെരുമാറിയതുപോലെ എന്നോടു ചെയ്യേണം.

Behold, I build an house to the name of the LORD my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual showbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of the LORD our God. This is an ordinance for ever to Israel.ഞാൻ എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിന്നു ഒരാലയം പണിവാൻ പോകുന്നു; അതു അവന്നു പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്ചിട്ടു അതിൽ അവന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ സുഗന്ധ ധൂപം കാട്ടുവാനും നിരന്തരമായ കാഴ്ചയപ്പം ഒരുക്കുവാനും കാലത്തും വൈകുന്നേരത്തും ശബ്ബത്തുകളിലും അമാവാസ്യകളിലും ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ ഉത്സവങ്ങളിലും ഹോമയാഗം കഴിപ്പാനും തന്നേ. ഇതു യിസ്രായേലിന്നു ഒരു ശാശ്വതനിയമം ആകുന്നു.

And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods.ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവം സകലദേവന്മാരെക്കാളും വലിയവനാകയാൽ ഞാൻ പണിവാൻ പോകുന്ന ആലയം വലിയതു.

But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before him?എന്നാൽ അവന്നു ആലയം പണിവാൻ പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ളവൻ ആർ? സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിലും സ്വർഗ്ഗാധിസ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിലും അവൻ അടങ്ങുകയില്ലല്ലോ; അങ്ങനെയിരിക്കെ അവന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ധൂപം കാട്ടുവാനല്ലാതെ അവന്നു ഒരു ആലയം പണിയേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ ആർ?

Send me now therefore a man cunning to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and blue, and that can skill to grave with the cunning men that are with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father did provide.ആകയാൽ എന്റെ അപ്പനായ ദാവീദ് കരുതിയവരായി എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ യെഹൂദയിലും യെരൂശലേമിലും ഉള്ള കൌശലപ്പണിക്കാരോടുകൂടെ പൊന്നു, വെള്ളി, താമ്രം, ഇരിമ്പു, ധൂമ്രനൂൽ, ചുവപ്പു നൂൽ, നീലനൂൽ എന്നിവകൊണ്ടു പണിചെയ്‍വാൻ സമർത്ഥനും കൊത്തുപണി ശീലമുള്ളവനുമായ ഒരു ആളെ എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ അയച്ചുതരേണം.

Send me also cedar trees, fir trees, and algum trees, out of Lebanon: for I know that your servants can skill to cut timber in Lebanon; and, behold, my servants shall be with your servants,ലെബാനോനിൽനിന്നു ദേവദാരുവും സരളമരവും ചന്ദനവും കൂടെ എനിക്കു അയച്ചുതരേണം; നിന്റെ വേലക്കാർ ലെബാനോനിൽ മരംവെട്ടുവാൻ സമർത്ഥന്മാരെന്നു എനിക്കറിവുണ്ടു; എനിക്കു വേണ്ടുവോളം മരം ശേഖരിപ്പാൻ എന്റെ വേലക്കാർ നിന്റെ വേലക്കാരോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കും.

Even to prepare me timber in abundance: for the house which I am about to build shall be wonderful great.ഞാൻ പണിവാനിരിക്കുന്ന ആലയം വലിയതും അത്ഭുതകരവും ആയിരിക്കേണം.

And, behold, I will give to your servants, the hewers that cut timber, twenty thousand measures of beaten wheat, and twenty thousand measures of barley, and twenty thousand baths of wine, and twenty thousand baths of oil.മരംവെട്ടുകാരായ നിന്റെ വേലക്കാർക്കു ഞാൻ ഇരുപതിനായിരം കോർ കോതമ്പരിയും ഇരുപതിനായിരം കോർ യവവും ഇരുപതിനായിരം ബത്ത് വീഞ്ഞും ഇരുപതിനായിരം ബത്ത് എണ്ണയും കൊടുക്കും.

Then Huram the king of Tyre answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon, Because the LORD has loved his people, he has made you king over them.സോർരാജാവായ ഹൂരാം ശലോമോന്നു: യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തെ സ്നേഹിക്കകൊണ്ടു നിന്നെ അവർക്കു രാജാവാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു മറുപടി എഴുതി അയച്ചു.

Huram said moreover, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, that made heaven and earth, who has given to David the king a wise son, imbued with prudence and understanding, that might build an house for the LORD, and an house for his kingdom.ഹൂരാം പിന്നെയും പറഞ്ഞതു: യഹോവെക്കു ഒരു ആലയവും തനിക്കു ഒരു അരമനയും പണിയേണ്ടതിന്നു ജ്ഞാനവും ബുദ്ധിയും വിവേകവും ഉള്ള ഒരു മകനെ ദാവീദ്‌രാജാവിന്നു നല്കിയവനായി ആകാശവും ഭൂമിയും ഉണ്ടാക്കിയവനായി യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവൻ.

And now I have sent a cunning man, imbued with understanding, of Huram my father's,ഇപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ ജ്ഞാനവും വിവേകവുമുള്ള പുരുഷനായ ഹൂരാം-ആബിയെ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

The son of a woman of the daughters of Dan, and his father was a man of Tyre, skilful to work in gold, and in silver, in brass, in iron, in stone, and in timber, in purple, in blue, and in fine linen, and in crimson; also to grave any manner of graving, and to find out every device which shall be put to him, with your cunning men, and with the cunning men of my lord David your father.അവൻ ഒരു ദാന്യസ്ത്രീയുടെ മകൻ; അവന്റെ അപ്പൻ ഒരു സോർയ്യൻ. പൊന്നു, വെള്ളി, താമ്രം, ഇരിമ്പു, കല്ലു, മരം, ധൂമ്രനൂൽ, നീല നൂൽ, ചണനൂൽ, ചുവപ്പുനൂൽ എന്നിവകൊണ്ടു പണിചെയ്‍വാനും ഏതുവിധം കൊത്തുപണി ചെയ്‍വാനും നിന്റെ കൌശലപ്പണിക്കാരോടും നിന്റെ അപ്പനും എന്റെ യജമാനനുമായ ദാവീദിന്റെ കൌശലപ്പണിക്കാരോടുംകൂടെ അവന്നു ഏല്പിക്കുന്ന ഏതു കൌശലപ്പണിയും സങ്കല്പിപ്പാനും അവൻ സമർത്ഥൻ ആകുന്നു.

Now therefore the wheat, and the barley, the oil, and the wine, which my lord has spoken of, let him send unto his servants:ആകയാൽ യജമാനൻ പറഞ്ഞ കോതമ്പും യവവും എണ്ണയും വീഞ്ഞും വേലക്കാർക്കു കൊടുത്തയക്കട്ടെ.

And we will cut wood out of Lebanon, as much as you shall need: and we will bring it to you in rafts by sea to Joppa; and you shall carry it up to Jerusalem.എന്നാൽ ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്റെ ആവശ്യംപോലെയൊക്കെയും ലെബാനോനിൽനിന്നു മരംവെട്ടി ചങ്ങാടം കെട്ടി കടൽവഴിയായി യാഫോവിൽ എത്തിച്ചുതരും; നീ അതു യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോകേണം.

And Solomon numbered all the strangers that were in the land of Israel, after the numbering wherewith David his father had numbered them; and they were found an hundred and fifty thousand and three thousand and six hundred.അനന്തരം ശലോമോൻ യിസ്രായേൽദേശത്തിലെ അന്യന്മാരെ ഒക്കെയും തന്റെ അപ്പനായ ദാവീദ് എണ്ണംനോക്കിയതുപോലെ എണ്ണം എടുത്താറെ ഒരു ലക്ഷത്തമ്പത്തിമൂവായിരത്തറുനൂറുപേർ എന്നു കണ്ടു.

And he set threescore and ten thousand of them to be bearers of burdens, and fourscore thousand to be hewers in the mountain, and three thousand and six hundred overseers to set the people a work.അവരിൽ എഴുപതിനായിരംപേരെ ചുമട്ടുകാരായിട്ടും എൺപതിനായിരം പേരെ മലയിൽ കല്ലുവെട്ടുകാരായിട്ടും മൂവായിരത്തറുനൂറുപേരെ ജനത്തെക്കൊണ്ടു വേല ചെയ്യിപ്പാൻ മേൽ വിചാരകരായിട്ടും നിയമിച്ചു.

2 Chronicles 3

Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.അനന്തരം ശലോമോൻ യെരൂശലേമിൽ തന്റെ അപ്പനായ ദാവീദിന്നു യഹോവ പ്രത്യക്ഷനായ മോരീയാപർവ്വതത്തിൽ യെബൂസ്യനായ ഒർന്നാന്റെ കളത്തിങ്കൽ ദാവീദ് വട്ടംകൂട്ടിയിരുന്ന സ്ഥലത്തു യഹോവയുടെ ആലയം പണിവാൻ തുടങ്ങി.

And he began to build in the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.തന്റെ വാഴ്ചയുടെ നാലാം ആണ്ടിൽ രണ്ടാം മാസം രണ്ടാം തീയ്യതിയായിരുന്നു അവൻ പണിതുടങ്ങിയതു.

Now these are the things wherein Solomon was instructed for the building of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure was threescore cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.ദൈവാലയം പണിയേണ്ടതിന്നു ശലോമോൻ ഇട്ട അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ പരിമാണമോ: മുമ്പിലത്തെ അളവിൻ പ്രകാരം അതിന്റെ നീളം അറുപതുമുഴം, വീതി ഇരുപതുമുഴം.

And the porch that was in the front of the house, the length of it was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height was an hundred and twenty: and he overlaid it within with pure gold.മുൻഭാഗത്തുള്ള മണ്ഡപത്തിന്നു ആലയത്തിന്റെ വീതിക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം ഇരുപതു മുഴം നീളവും നൂറ്റിരുപതു മുഴം ഉയരവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അതിന്റെ അകം അവൻ തങ്കംകൊണ്ടു പൊതിഞ്ഞു.

And the greater house he covered over with fir tree, which he overlaid with fine gold, and set thereon palm trees and chains.വലിയ ആലയത്തിന്നു അവൻ സരളമരംകൊണ്ടു മച്ചിട്ടു, അതിനെ തങ്കംകൊണ്ടു പൊതിഞ്ഞു, അതിന്മേൽ ഈന്തപ്പനയും ലതയും കൊത്തിച്ചു.

And he garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold was gold of Parvaim.അവൻ ഭംഗിക്കായിട്ടു ആലയത്തെ രത്നംകൊണ്ടു അലങ്കരിച്ചു; പൊന്നോ പർവ്വയീംപൊന്നു ആയിരന്നു.

He overlaid also the house, the beams, the posts, and the walls thereof, and the doors thereof, with gold; and graved cherubims on the walls.അവൻ ആലയവും തുലാങ്ങളും കാലുകളും ചുവരുകളും കതകുകളും പൊന്നു കൊണ്ടു പൊതിഞ്ഞു, ചുവരിന്മേൽ കെരൂബുകളെയും കൊത്തിച്ചു.

And he made the most holy house, the length whereof was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits: and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.അവൻ അതിവിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരവും ഉണ്ടാക്കി; അതിന്റെ നീളം ആലയത്തിന്റെ വീതിക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം ഇരുപതു മുഴവും, വീതി ഇരുപതു മുഴവും ആയിരുന്നു; അവൻ അറുനൂറു താലന്ത് തങ്കംകൊണ്ടു അതു പൊതിഞ്ഞു.

And the weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. And he overlaid the upper chambers with gold.ആണികളുടെ തൂക്കം അമ്പതു ശേക്കെൽ പൊന്നു ആയിരുന്നു: മാളികമുറികളും അവൻ പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടു പൊതിഞ്ഞു.

And in the most holy house he made two cherubims of image work, and overlaid them with gold.അതിവിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽ അവൻ കൊത്തുപണിയായ രണ്ടു കെരൂബുകളെ ഉണ്ടാക്കി പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടു പൊതിഞ്ഞു.

And the wings of the cherubims were twenty cubits long: one wing of the one cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was likewise five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.കെരൂബുകളുടെ ചിറകുകളുടെ നീളം ഇരുപതു മുഴം. ഒന്നിന്റെ ഒരു ചിറകു ആലയത്തിന്റെ ചുവരോടു തൊടുന്നതായി അഞ്ചു മുഴവും മറ്റെ ചിറകു മറ്റെ കെരൂബിന്റെ ചിറകോടു തൊടുന്നതായി അഞ്ചു മുഴവും ആയിരുന്നു:

And one wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was five cubits also, joining to the wing of the other cherub.മറ്റെ കെരൂബിന്റെ ഒരു ചിറകു ആലയത്തിന്റെ ചുവരോടു തൊടുന്നതായി അഞ്ചു മുഴവും മറ്റെ ചിറകു മറ്റെ കെരൂബിന്റെ ചിറകോടു തൊടുന്നതായി അഞ്ചു മുഴവും ആയിരുന്നു.

The wings of these cherubims spread themselves forth twenty cubits: and they stood on their feet, and their faces were inward.ഈ കെരൂബുകളുടെ ചിറകുകൾ ഇരുപതു മുഴം നീളത്തിൽ വിടർന്നിരുന്നു. അവ കാൽ ഊന്നിയും മുഖം അകത്തോട്ടു തിരിഞ്ഞും നിന്നിരുന്നു.

And he made the vail of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and wrought cherubims thereon.അവൻ നീലനൂൽ, ധൂമ്രനൂൽ, ചുവപ്പുനൂൽ, ചണനൂൽ എന്നിവകൊണ്ടു തിരശ്ശീല ഉണ്ടാക്കി അതിന്മേൽ കെരൂബുകളെയും നെയ്തുണ്ടാക്കി.

Also he made before the house two pillars of thirty and five cubits high, and the capital that was on the top of each of them was five cubits.അവൻ ആലയത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ മുപ്പത്തഞ്ചു മുഴം ഉയരമുള്ള രണ്ടു സ്തംഭമുണ്ടാക്കി; അവയുടെ തലെക്കലുള്ള പോതികെക്കു അയ്യഞ്ചു മുഴം ഉയരമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

And he made chains, as in the oracle, and put them on the heads of the pillars; and made an hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chains.അന്തർമ്മന്ദിരത്തിൽ ഉള്ളപോലെ മാലകളെ അവൻ ഉണ്ടാക്കി സ്തംഭങ്ങളുടെ തലെക്കൽ വെച്ചു; നൂറു മാതളപ്പഴവും ഉണ്ടാക്കി മാലകളിൽ കോർത്തിട്ടു.

And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.അവൻ സ്തംഭങ്ങളെ മന്ദിരത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ ഒന്നു വലത്തും മറ്റേതു ഇടത്തും നിർത്തി; വലത്തേതിന്നു യാഖീൻ എന്നും ഇടത്തേതിന്നു ബോവസ് എന്നും പേർ വിളിച്ചു.

Moreover he made an altar of brass, twenty cubits the length thereof, and twenty cubits the breadth thereof, and ten cubits the height thereof.അവൻ താമ്രംകൊണ്ടു ഒരു യാഗപീഠം ഉണ്ടാക്കി; അതിന്റെ നീളം ഇരുപതു മുഴവും വീതി ഇരുപതു മുഴവും ഉയരം പത്തു മുഴവും ആയിരുന്നു.

Also he made a molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in compass, and five cubits the height thereof; and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.അവൻ ഒരു വാർപ്പുകടലും ഉണ്ടാക്കി; അതു വൃത്താകാരമായിരുന്നു; അതിന്നു വക്കോടുവക്കുപത്തു മുഴവും ഉയരം അഞ്ചു മുഴവും ചുറ്റും മുപ്പതു മുഴം നൂലളവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

And under it was the embodiment of oxen, which did compass it round about: ten in a cubit, compassing the sea round about. Two rows of oxen were cast, when it was cast.അതിന്നു കീഴെ ചുറ്റിലും കുമിഴുകൾ മുഴത്തിന്നു പത്തുവീതം കടലിനെ ചുറ്റിയിരുന്നു. അതു വാർത്തപ്പോൾ തന്നേ കുമിഴുകളും രണ്ടു നിരയായി വാർത്തുണ്ടാക്കിയിരുന്നു.

It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east: and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.അതു പന്ത്രണ്ടു കാളയുടെ പുറത്തു വെച്ചിരുന്നു: മൂന്നു വടക്കോട്ടും മൂന്നു പടിഞ്ഞാറോട്ടും മൂന്നു തെക്കോട്ടും മൂന്നു കിഴക്കോട്ടും തിരിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. കടൽ അവയുടെ പുറത്തു വെച്ചിരുന്നു; അവയുടെ പൃഷ്ഠഭാഗമൊക്കെയും അകത്തോട്ടു ആയിരുന്നു.

And the thickness of it was an handbreadth, and the brim of it like the work of the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies; and it received and held three thousand baths.അതിന്റെ കനം നാലു അംഗുലവും അതിന്റെ വക്കുപാനപാത്രത്തിന്റെ വകൂപോലെയും വിടർന്ന താമരപ്പൂപോലെയും ആയിരുന്നു. അതിൽ മൂവായിരം ബത്ത് വെള്ളം കൊള്ളും.

He made also ten lavers, and put five on the right hand, and five on the left, to wash in them: such things as they offered for the burnt offering they washed in them; but the sea was for the priests to wash in.അവൻ പത്തു തൊട്ടിയും ഉണ്ടാക്കി; കഴുകുന്ന ആവശ്യത്തിലേക്കു അഞ്ചു വലത്തുഭാഗത്തും അഞ്ചു ഇടത്തുഭാഗത്തും വെച്ചു. ഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നുള്ള സാധനങ്ങളെ അവർ അവയിൽ കഴുകും; കടലോ പുരോഹിതന്മാർക്കു കഴുകുവാനുള്ളതായിരുന്നു.

And he made ten candlesticks of gold according to their form, and set them in the temple, five on the right hand, and five on the left.അവൻ പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടു പത്തു വിളക്കും അവയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള വിധിപ്രകാരം ഉണ്ടാക്കി, മന്ദിരത്തിൽ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു അഞ്ചും ഇടത്തുഭാഗത്തു അഞ്ചുമായി വെച്ചു.

He made also ten tables, and placed them in the temple, five on the right side, and five on the left. And he made an hundred basons of gold.അവൻ പത്തു മേശയും ഉണ്ടാക്കി; മന്ദിരത്തിൽ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു അഞ്ചും ഇടത്തുഭാഗത്തു അഞ്ചുമായി വെച്ചു; അവൻ പൊന്നു കൊണ്ടു നൂറു കലശവും ഉണ്ടാക്കി.

Furthermore he made the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and overlaid the doors of them with brass.അവൻ പുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെ പ്രാകാരവും വലിയ പ്രാകാരവും പ്രാകാരത്തിന്നു വാതിലുകളും ഉണ്ടാക്കി, കതകു താമ്രംകൊണ്ടു പൊതിഞ്ഞു.

And he set the sea on the right side of the east end, opposite to the south.അവൻ കടലിനെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു തെക്കുകിഴക്കായിട്ടു വെച്ചു.

And Huram made the pots, and the shovels, and the basons. And Huram finished the work that he was to make for king Solomon for the house of God;ഹൂരാം കലങ്ങളും ചട്ടുകങ്ങളും കലശങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടാക്കി; ഇങ്ങനെ ഹൂരാം ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ ശലോമോൻ രാജാവിന്നു വേണ്ടി ചെയ്ത പണി തീർത്തു.

To know, the two pillars, and the pommels, and the capitals which were on the top of the two pillars, and the two wreaths to cover the two pommels of the capitals which were on the top of the pillars;സ്തംഭങ്ങൾ, രണ്ടു സ്തംഭങ്ങളുടെ തലെക്കലുള്ള ഗോളാകാരമായ പോതികകൾ, സ്തംഭങ്ങളുടെ തലെക്കലുള്ള പോതികകളുടെ ഗോളങ്ങളെ മൂടുവാൻ രണ്ടു വലപ്പണി,

And four hundred pomegranates on the two wreaths; two rows of pomegranates on each wreath, to cover the two pommels of the capitals which were upon the pillars.സ്തംഭങ്ങളുടെ തലെക്കലുള്ള പോതികകളുടെ രണ്ടു ഗോളങ്ങളെ മൂടുന്ന ഓരോ വലപ്പണിയിൽ ഈരണ്ടു നിര മാതളപ്പഴമായി രണ്ടു വലപ്പണിയിലുംകൂടെ

He made also bases, and lavers made he upon the bases;നാനൂറു മാതളപ്പഴം, പീഠങ്ങൾ, പീഠങ്ങളിന്മേൽ തൊട്ടികൾ

One sea, and twelve oxen under it.കടൽ, അതിന്നു കീഴെ പന്ത്രണ്ടു കാള, കലങ്ങൾ,

The pots also, and the shovels, and the forks, and all their instruments, did Huram his father make to king Solomon for the house of the LORD of bright brass.ചട്ടുകങ്ങൾ, മുൾക്കൊളുത്തുകൾ എന്നീ ഉപകരണങ്ങളൊക്കെയും ഹൂരാം-ആബി മിനുക്കിയ താമ്രംകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്നുവേണ്ടി ശലോമോൻ രാജാവിന്നു ഉണ്ടാക്കിക്കൊടുത്തു.

In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zeredathah.യോർദ്ദാൻ സമഭൂമിയിൽ സുക്കോത്തിന്നും സെരേദാഥെക്കും മദ്ധ്യേ കളിമണ്ണുള്ള നിലത്തുവെച്ചു രാജാവു അവയെ വാർപ്പിച്ചു.

Thus Solomon made all these vessels in great abundance: for the weight of the brass could not be found out.ഇങ്ങനെ ശലോമോൻ ഈ ഉപകരണങ്ങളൊക്കെയും ധാരാളമായി ഉണ്ടാക്കി; താമ്രത്തിന്റെ തൂക്കത്തിന്നു നിശ്ചയമില്ലായിരുന്നു.

And Solomon made all the vessels that were for the house of God, the golden altar also, and the tables whereon the showbread was set;ശലോമോൻ ദൈവാലയത്തിലെ ഉപകരണങ്ങൾ ഒക്കെയും പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടുള്ള പീഠവും കാഴ്ചയപ്പംവെക്കുന്ന മേശകളും

Moreover the candlesticks with their lamps, that they should burn after the manner before the oracle, of pure gold;അന്തർമ്മന്ദിരത്തിന്നു മുമ്പാകെ നിയമപ്രകാരം കത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു നിർമ്മലമായ തങ്കംകൊണ്ടുള്ള നിലവിളക്കും ദീപങ്ങളും പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടു,

And the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, made he of gold, and that perfect gold;സാക്ഷാൽ നിർമ്മലമായ തങ്കംകൊണ്ടു തന്നേ, പുഷ്പങ്ങളും ദീപങ്ങളും ചവണകളും

And the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and the censers, of pure gold: and the entry of the house, the inner doors thereof for the most holy place, and the doors of the house of the temple, were of gold.തങ്കംകൊണ്ടു കത്രികകളും കലശങ്ങളും തവികളും തീച്ചട്ടികളും ഉണ്ടാക്കി. ആലയത്തിന്റെ വാതിലുകൾ, അതിവിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിലേക്കുള്ള അകത്തേ കതകുകളും മന്ദിരമായ ആലയത്തിന്റെ കതകുകളും പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടു ആയിരുന്നു.

Thus all the work that Solomon made for the house of the LORD was finished: and Solomon brought in all the things that David his father had dedicated; and the silver, and the gold, and all the instruments, put he among the treasures of the house of God.ഇങ്ങനെ ശലോമോൻ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്നു വേണ്ടി ചെയ്ത പണിയൊക്കെയും തീർന്നു; പിന്നെ ശലോമോൻ തന്റെ അപ്പനായ ദാവീദ് നിവേദിച്ചിരുന്ന വസ്തുക്കളായ വെള്ളിയും പൊന്നും ഉപകരണങ്ങൾ ഒക്കെയും കൊണ്ടുവന്നു ദൈവാലയത്തിലെ ഭണ്ഡാരഗൃഹങ്ങളിൽ വെച്ചു.

Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion.ശലോമോൻ യഹോവയുടെ നിയമപെട്ടകം സീയോൻ എന്ന ദാവീദിന്റെ നഗരത്തിൽനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവരുവാൻ യിസ്രായേൽമൂപ്പന്മാരെയും യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ പിതൃഭവനത്തലവന്മാരായ ഗോത്രപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെ ഒക്കെയും യെരൂശലേമിൽ കൂട്ടിവരുത്തി.

Wherefore all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto the king in the feast which was in the seventh month.യിസ്രായേൽപുരുഷന്മാരെല്ലാവരും ഏഴാം മാസത്തിലെ ഉത്സവത്തിൽ രാജാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നുകൂടി.

And all the elders of Israel came; and the Levites took up the ark.യിസ്രായേൽമൂപ്പന്മാരെല്ലാവരും വന്നശേഷം ലേവ്യർ പെട്ടകം എടുത്തു.

And they brought up the ark, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, these did the priests and the Levites bring up.പെട്ടകവും സമാഗമനക്കുടാരവും കൂടാരത്തിലെ സകലവിശുദ്ധോപകരണങ്ങളും കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരുമത്രേ അവ കൊണ്ടുവന്നതു.

Also king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel that were assembled unto him before the ark, sacrificed sheep and oxen, which could not be told nor numbered for multitude.ശലോമോൻ രാജാവും അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൂടിവന്നിരുന്ന യിസ്രായേൽസഭയൊക്കെയും എണ്ണുവാനും കണക്കെടുപ്പാനും കഴിയാതവണ്ണം വളരെ ആടുകളെയും കാളകളെയും പെട്ടകത്തിന്നു മുമ്പിൽ യാഗം കഴിച്ചു.

And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD unto his place, to the oracle of the house, into the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubims:പുരോഹിതന്മാർ യഹോവയുടെ നിയമപെട്ടകം അതിന്റെ സ്ഥലത്തു, ആലയത്തിലെ അന്തർമ്മന്ദിരത്തിൽ അതിവിശുദ്ധസ്ഥലത്തേക്കു കെരൂബുകളുടെ ചിറകിൻ കീഴെ കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു വെച്ചു.

For the cherubims spread forth their wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above.കെരൂബുകൾ പെട്ടകത്തിന്റെ സ്ഥലത്തിന്നു മീതെ ചിറകുവിരിച്ചു പെട്ടകത്തെയും അതിന്റെ തണ്ടുകളെയും മൂടിനിന്നു,

And they drew out the staves of the ark, that the ends of the staves were seen from the ark before the oracle; but they were not seen without. And there it is unto this day.തണ്ടുകൾ നീണ്ടിരിക്കയാൽ തണ്ടുകളുടെ അറ്റങ്ങൾ അന്തർമ്മന്ദിരത്തിന്നു മുമ്പിൽ പെട്ടകത്തെ കവിഞ്ഞു കാണും എങ്കിലും പുറത്തുനിന്നു കാണുകയില്ല; അവ ഇന്നുവരെ അവിടെ ഉണ്ടു.

There was nothing in the ark save the two tables which Moses put therein at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of Egypt.യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കൾ മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടശേഷം യഹോവ അവരോടു നിയമം ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ മോശെ ഹോരേബിൽവെച്ചു പെട്ടകത്തിൽ വെച്ചിരുന്ന രണ്ടു കല്പലകയല്ലാതെ അതിൽ മറ്റൊന്നും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.

And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place: (for all the priests that were present were sanctified, and did not then wait by course:പുരോഹിതന്മാർ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽനിന്നു വന്നപ്പോൾ--അവിടെയുണ്ടായിരുന്ന പുരോഹിതന്മാർ കൂറുകളുടെ ക്രമം നോക്കാതെ എല്ലാവരും തങ്ങളെ വിശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചിരുന്നു;

Also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:)ആസാഫ്, ഹേമാൻ, യെദൂഥൂൻ എന്നിവരും അവരുടെ പുത്രന്മാരും സഹോദരന്മാരുമായി സംഗീതക്കാരായ ലേവ്യരെല്ലാവരും ചണവസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ചു കൈത്താളങ്ങളും വീണകളും കിന്നരങ്ങളും പിടിച്ചു യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നു കിഴക്കു കാഹളം ഊതിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്ന നൂറ്റിരുപതു പുരോഹിതന്മാരോടുകൂടെ നിന്നു--

It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endures for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD;കാഹളക്കാരും സംഗീതക്കാരും ഒത്തൊരുമിച്ചു കാഹളങ്ങളോടും കൈത്താളങ്ങളോടും വാദിത്രങ്ങളോടും കൂടെ: അവൻ നല്ലവനല്ലോ അവന്റെ ദയ എന്നേക്കുമുള്ളതു എന്നു ഏകസ്വരമായി കേൾക്കുമാറു യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തി സ്തുതിച്ചു; അവർ ഉച്ചത്തിൽ പാടി യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിച്ചപ്പോൾ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയമായ മന്ദിരത്തിൽ ഒരു മേഘം നിറഞ്ഞു.

So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God.യഹോവയുടെ തേജസ്സ് ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ നിറഞ്ഞിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു പുരോഹിതന്മാർക്കു മേഘം നിമിത്തം ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു നില്പാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല.
