Now the sons of Issachar were, Tola, and Puah, Jashub, and Shimrom, four.യിസ്സാഖാരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: തോലാ, പൂവാ, യാശൂബ്, ശിമ്രോൻ ഇങ്ങനെ നാലു പേർ.

And the sons of Uzzi; Izrahiah: and the sons of Izrahiah; Michael, and Obadiah, and Joel, Ishiah, five: all of them chief men.ഉസ്സിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: യിസ്രഹ്യാവു; യിസ്രഹ്യാവിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: മീഖായേൽ, ഓബദ്യാവു, യോവേൽ, യിശ്യാവു ഇങ്ങനെ അഞ്ചുപേർ; ഇവർ എല്ലാവരും തലവന്മാരായിരുന്നു.

And the sons of Becher; Zemira, and Joash, and Eliezer, and Elioenai, and Omri, and Jerimoth, and Abiah, and Anathoth, and Alameth. All these are the sons of Becher.ബെഖെരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: സെമീരാ, യോവാശ്, എലീയേസർ, എല്യോവേനായി, ഒമ്രി, യെരേമോത്ത്, അബീയാവു അനാഥോത്ത്, ആലേമെത്ത്; ഇവരെല്ലാവരും ബേഖെരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ.

The sons also of Jediael; Bilhan: and the sons of Bilhan; Jeush, and Benjamin, and Ehud, and Chenaanah, and Zethan, and Tharshish, and Ahishahar.യെദീയയേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ബിൽഹാൻ; ബിൽഹാന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: യെവൂശ്, ബെന്യാമീൻ, ഏഹൂദ്, കെനയനാ, സേഥാൻ, തർശീശ്, അഹീശാഫർ.

All these the sons of Jediael, by the heads of their fathers, mighty men of valour, were seventeen thousand and two hundred soldiers, fit to go out for war and battle.ഇവരെല്ലാവരും യെദീയയേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ; പിതൃഭവനങ്ങൾക്കു തലവന്മാരും പരാക്രമശാലികളുമായി യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവാൻ തക്ക പടച്ചേവകർ പതിനേഴായിരത്തിരുനൂറുപേർ.

Shuppim also, and Huppim, the children of Ir, and Hushim, the sons of Aher.ഈരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ശുപ്പീം, ഹുപ്പീം;

The sons of Naphtali; Jahziel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shallum, the sons of Bilhah.അഹേരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഹുശീം; നഫ്താലിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: യഹ്സീയേൽ, ഗൂനി, യേസെർ, ശല്ലൂം; ബിൽഹയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ.

The sons of Manasseh; Ashriel, whom she bare: (but his concubine the Aramitess bare Machir the father of Gilead:മനശ്ശെയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: അവന്റെ വെപ്പാട്ടി അരാമ്യസ്ത്രീ പ്രസവിച്ച അസ്രീയേൽ; അവൾ ഗിലെയാദിന്റെ പിതാവായ മാഖീരിനെയും പ്രസവിച്ചു.

And Machir took to wife the sister of Huppim and Shuppim, whose sister's name was Maachah;) and the name of the second was Zelophehad: and Zelophehad had daughters.എന്നാൽ മാഖീർ ഹുപ്പീമിന്റെയും ശുപ്പീമിന്റെയും സഹോദരിയെ ഭാര്യയായി പരിഗ്രഹിച്ചു; അവരുടെ സഹോദരിയുടെ പേർ മയഖാ എന്നു ആയിരുന്നു; രണ്ടാമന്റെ പേർ ശെലോഫെഹാദ് എന്നു ആയിരുന്നു; ശെലോഫെഹാദിന്നു പുത്രിമാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

And Maachah the wife of Machir bare a son, and she called his name Peresh; and the name of his brother was Sheresh; and his sons were Ulam and Rakem.മാഖീരിന്റെ ഭാര്യ മയഖാ ഒരു മകനെ പ്രസവിച്ചു, അവന്നു പേരെശ് എന്നു പേർ വിളിച്ചു; അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്നു ശേരെശ് എന്നു പേർ; അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ ഊലാമും രേക്കെമും ആയിരുന്നു.

And the sons of Ulam; Bedan. These were the sons of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh.ഊലാമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ബെദാൻ. ഇവർ മനശ്ശെയുടെ മകനായ മാഖീരിന്റെ മകനായ ഗിലെയാദിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ ആയിരുന്നു.

And the sons of Ephraim; Shuthelah, and Bered his son, and Tahath his son, and Eladah his son, and Tahath his son,എഫ്രയീമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ശൂഥേലഹ്; അവന്റെ മകൻ ബേരെദ്; അവന്റെ മകൻ തഹത്ത്; അവന്റെ മകൻ എലാദാ; അവന്റെ മകൻ തഹത്ത്; അവന്റെ മകൻ സബാദ്;

And Zabad his son, and Shuthelah his son, and Ezer, and Elead, whom the men of Gath that were born in that land slew, because they came down to take away their cattle.അവന്റെ മകൻ ശൂഥേലഹ്, ഏസെർ, എലാദാ; ഇവർ ആ ദേശവാസികളായ ഗത്യരുടെ കന്നുകാലികളെ അപഹരിപ്പാൻ ചെന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അവർ അവരെ കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.

And Ephraim their father mourned many days, and his brethren came to comfort him.അവരുടെ പിതാവായ എഫ്രയീം ഏറീയ നാൾ വിലപിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാർ അവനെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിപ്പാൻ വന്നു.

And their possessions and habitations were, Bethel and the towns thereof, and eastward Naaran, and westward Gezer, with the towns thereof; Shechem also and the towns thereof, unto Gaza and the towns thereof:അവരുടെ അവകാശങ്ങളും വാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളും ഏവയെന്നാൽ: ബേഥേലും അതിനോടു ചേർന്ന ഗ്രാമങ്ങളും, കിഴക്കോട്ടു നയരാനും, പടിഞ്ഞാറോട്ടു ഗേസെരും അതിനോടു ചേർന്ന ഗ്രാമങ്ങളും, ഗസ്സയും അതിനോടു ചേർന്ന ഗ്രാമങ്ങളും വരെയുള്ള ശെഖേമും അതിനോടു ചേർന്ന ഗ്രാമങ്ങളും,

And by the borders of the children of Manasseh, Bethshean and her towns, Taanach and her towns, Megiddo and her towns, Dor and her towns. The sons of Asher; Imnah, and Isuah, and Ishuai, and Beriah, and Serah their sister.ആശേരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: യിമ്നാ, യിശ്വാ, യിശ്വി, ബെരീയാവു; ഇവരുടെ സഹോദരി സേരഹ്.

And the sons of Beriah; Heber, and Malchiel, who is the father of Birzavith.ബെരീയാവിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഹേബെർ, ബിർസയീത്തിന്റെ അപ്പനായ മൽക്കീയേൽ.

And Heber brings forth Japhlet, and Shomer, and Hotham, and Shua their sister.ഹേബെർ യഫ്ളേത്തിനെയും ശേമേരിനെയും ഹോഥാമിനെയും അവരുടെ സഹോദരിയായ ശൂവയെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

And the sons of Japhlet; Pasach, and Bimhal, and Ashvath. These are the children of Japhlet.യഫ്ളേത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: പാസാക്, ബിംഹാൽ, അശ്വാത്ത്; ഇവർ യഫ്ളേത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ.

And the sons of Shamer; Ahi, and Rohgah, Jehubbah, and Aram.ശേമേരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: അഹീ, രൊഹ്ഗാ, യെഹുബ്ബാ, അരാം.

And the sons of his brother Helem; Zophah, and Imna, and Shelesh, and Amal.അവന്റെ സഹോദരനായ ഹേലെമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: സോഫഹ്, യിമ്നാ, ശേലെശ്, ആമാൽ.

The sons of Zophah; Suah, and Harnepher, and Shual, and Beri, and Imrah,സോഫഹിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: സൂഹ, ഹർന്നേഫെർ, ശൂവാൽ, ബേരി, യിമ്രാ,

And the sons of Jether; Jephunneh, and Pispah, and Ara.യേഥെരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: യെഫുന്നെ, പിസ്പാ, അരാ.

And the sons of Ulla; Arah, and Haniel, and Rezia.ഉല്ലയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ആരഹ്, ഹന്നീയേൽ, രിസ്യാ.

All these were the children of Asher, heads of their father's house, choice and mighty men of valour, chief of the princes. And the number throughout the genealogy of them that were able to the war and to battle was twenty and six thousand men.ഇവർ എല്ലാവരും ആശേരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായി പിതൃഭവനങ്ങൾക്കു തലവന്മാരും ശ്രേഷ്ഠന്മാരും പരാക്രമശാലികളും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരിൽ പ്രധാനികളും ആയിരുന്നു. വംശാവലിപ്രകാരം യുദ്ധസേവെക്കു പ്രാപ്തന്മാരായി എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവരുടെ സംഖ്യ ഇരുപത്താറായിരം തന്നേ.

Now Benjamin brings forth Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third,ബെന്യാമീൻ ആദ്യജാതനായ ബേലയെയും രണ്ടാമനായ അശ്ബേലിനെയും മൂന്നാമനായ അഹൂഹിനെയും

Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.നാലാമനായ നോഹയെയും അഞ്ചാമനായ രഫായെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

And the sons of Bela were, Addar, and Gera, and Abihud,ബേലയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: അദ്ദാർ, ഗേരാ,

And Abishua, and Naaman, and Ahoah,അബീഹൂദ്, അബീശൂവ, നയമാൻ, അഹോഹ്,

And Gera, and Shephuphan, and Huram.ഗേരാ, ശെഫൂഫാൻ, ഹൂരാം.

And these are the sons of Ehud: these are the heads of the fathers of the inhabitants of Geba, and they removed them to Manahath:ഏഹൂദിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരോ--അവർ ഗേബനിവാസികളുടെ പിതൃഭവനങ്ങൾക്കു തലവന്മാർ; അവർ അവരെ മാനഹത്തിലേക്കു പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോയി;

And Naaman, and Ahiah, and Gera, he removed them, and brings forth Uzza, and Ahihud.നയമാൻ അഹീയാവു, ഗേരാ എന്നിവരെ തന്നേ അവൻ പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയി--പിന്നെ അവൻ ഹുസ്സയെയും അഹീഹൂദിനെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

And Shaharaim brings forth children in the country of Moab, after he had sent them away; Hushim and Baara were his wives.ശഹരയീം തന്റെ ഭാര്യമാരായ ഹൂശീമിനെയും ബയരയെയും ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചശേഷം മോവാബ് ദേശത്തു പുത്രന്മാരെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

And he brings forth of Hodesh his wife, Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcham,അവൻ തന്റെ ഭാര്യയായ ഹോദേശിൽ യോബാബ്, സിബ്യാവു, മേശാ, മൽക്കാം,

And of Hushim he brings forth Abitub, and Elpaal.ഹൂശീമിൽ അവൻ അബീത്തൂബിനെയും എല്പയലിനെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

The sons of Elpaal; Eber, and Misham, and Shamed, who built Ono, and Lod, with the towns thereof:എല്പയലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഏബെർ, മിശാം, ശേമെർ; ഇവൻ ഓനോവും ലോദും അതിനോടു ചേർന്ന പട്ടണങ്ങളും പണിതു;

Beriah also, and Shema, who were heads of the fathers of the inhabitants of Aijalon, who drove away the inhabitants of Gath:ബെരീയാവു, ശേമ--ഇവർ അയ്യാലോൻ നിവാസികളുടെ പിതൃഭവനങ്ങൾക്കു തലവന്മാരായിരുന്നു ഗത്ത് നിവാസികളെ ഓടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു--;

And Iphedeiah, and Penuel, the sons of Shashak;യിഫ്ദേയാ, പെനൂവേൽ എന്നിവർ ശാശക്കിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ.

And Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah,ശംശെരായി, ശെഹർയ്യാവു, അഥല്യാവു,

And Jaresiah, and Eliah, and Zichri, the sons of Jeroham.യാരെശ്യാവു, എലീയാവു, സിക്രി എന്നിവർ യെരോഹാമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ.

These were heads of the fathers, by their generations, chief men. These dwelt in Jerusalem.ഇവർ തങ്ങളുടെ തലമുറകളിൽ പിതൃഭവനങ്ങൾക്കു തലവന്മാരും പ്രധാനികളും ആയിരുന്നു; അവർ യെരൂശലേമിൽ പാർത്തിരുന്നു.

And at Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon; whose wife's name was Maachah:ഗിബെയോനിൽ ഗിബെയോന്റെ പിതാവായ യെയീയേലും--അവന്റെ ഭാര്യക്കു മയഖാ എന്നു പേർ--

And his firstborn son Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Nadab,അവന്റെ ആദ്യജാതൻ അബ്ദോൻ, സൂർ, കീശ്, ബാൽ, നാദാബ്,

And Mikloth brings forth Shimeah. And these also dwelt with their brethren in Jerusalem, opposite to them.മിക്ളോത്ത് ശിമെയയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; ഇവരും തങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരോടുകൂടെ യെരൂശലേമിൽ തങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാർക്കെതിരെ പാർത്തു.

And Phinehas the son of Eleazar was the ruler over them in time past, and the LORD was with him.എലെയാസാരിന്റെ മകനായ ഫീനെഹാസ് പണ്ടു അവരുടെ അധിപനായിരുന്നു; യഹോവ അവനോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

All these which were chosen to be porters in the gates were two hundred and twelve. And Mattithiah, one of the Levites, who was the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, had the set office over the things that were made in the pans.ലേവ്യരിൽ ഒരുത്തനായി കോരഹ്യനായ ശല്ലൂമിന്റെ ആദ്യജാതൻ മത്ഥിഥ്യാവിന്നു ചട്ടികളിൽ ചുട്ടുണ്ടാക്കിയ സാധനങ്ങളുടെ മേൽവിചാരണ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

Then said Saul to his armour bearer, Draw your sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and abuse me. But his armour bearer would not; for he was sore afraid. And when his armour bearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise on the sword, and died.ശൌൽ മരിച്ചു എന്നു അവന്റെ ആയുധവാഹകൻ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ താനും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ തന്റെ വാളിന്മേൽ വീണു മരിച്ചു.

So Saul died, and his three sons, and all his house died together.ഇങ്ങനെ ശൌലും മൂന്നു മക്കളും അവന്റെ ഭവനമൊക്കെയും ഒരുമിച്ചു മരിച്ചു.

And it came to pass on the next day, when the Philistines came to strip the slain, that they found Saul and his sons fallen in mount Gilboa.പിറ്റെന്നാൾ ഫെലിസ്ത്യർ നിഹതന്മാരുടെ വസ്ത്രം ഉരിവാൻ വന്നപ്പോൾ ശൌലും പുത്രന്മാരും ഗിൽബോവപർവ്വതത്തിൽ വീണു കിടക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു.

And when they had stripped him, they took his head, and his armour, and sent into the land of the Philistines round about, to carry tidings unto their idols, and to the people.അവർ അവന്റെ വസ്ത്രാദികൾ ഉരിഞ്ഞു അവന്റെ തലയും ആയുധവർഗ്ഗവും എടുത്തു തങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിലും ജനത്തിന്റെ ഇടയിലും വർത്തമാനം അറിയിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഫെലിസ്ത്യദേശത്തെല്ലാടവും ആളയച്ചു.

And they put his armour in the house of their gods, and fastened his head in the temple of Dagon.അവന്റെ ആയുധവർഗ്ഗം അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ദേവന്റെ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ വെച്ചു; അവന്റെ തലയെ ദാഗോന്റെ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലും തറെച്ചു.

And when all Jabeshgilead heard all that the Philistines had done to Saul,ഫെലിസ്ത്യർ ശൌലിനോടു ചെയ്തതൊക്കെയും ഗിലെയാദിലെ യാബേശ് മുഴുവനും കേട്ടപ്പോൾ

They arose, all the valiant men, and took away the body of Saul, and the bodies of his sons, and brought them to Jabesh, and buried their bones under the oak in Jabesh, and fasted seven days.ശൂരന്മാരെല്ലാവരും പുറപ്പെട്ടു ശൌലിന്റെ ശവവും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെ ശവങ്ങളും എടുത്തു യാബേശിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; അവരുടെ അസ്ഥികളെ യാബേശിലെ കരുവേലകത്തിൻ കീഴിൽ കുഴിച്ചിട്ടു ഏഴു ദിവസം ഉപവസിച്ചു.

So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it;ഇങ്ങനെ ശൌൽ യഹോവയോടു ചെയ്ത അതിക്രമം ഹേതുവായും യഹോവയുടെ വചനം പ്രമാണിക്കായ്കയാലും വെളിച്ചപ്പാടത്തിയോടു അരുളപ്പാടു ചോദിച്ചതിനാലും മരിക്കേണ്ടിവന്നു.

And enquired not of the LORD: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse.അവൻ യഹോവയോടു അരുളപ്പാടു ചോദിക്കായ്കയാൽ അവൻ അവനെ കൊന്നു രാജത്വം യിശ്ശായിയുടെ മകനായ ദാവീദിന്നു കൊടുത്തു.
