Psalms 79

O god, the heathen are come into yours inheritance; your holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem on heaps.ദൈവമേ, ജാതികൾ നിന്റെ അവകാശത്തിലേക്കു കടന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർ നിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുകയും യെരൂശലേമിനെ കൽകുന്നുകളാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

The dead bodies of your servants have they given to be food unto the fowls of the heaven, the flesh of your saints unto the beasts of the earth.അവർ നിന്റെ ദാസന്മാരുടെ ശവങ്ങളെ ആകാശത്തിലെ പക്ഷികൾക്കും നിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുടെ മാംസത്തെ കാട്ടുമൃഗങ്ങൾക്കും ഇരയായി കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

Their blood have they shed like water round about Jerusalem; and there was none to bury them.അവരുടെ രക്തത്തെ വെള്ളംപോലെ അവർ യെരൂശലേമിന്നു ചുറ്റും ചിന്തിക്കളഞ്ഞു; അവരെ കുഴിച്ചിടുവാൻ ആരും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതുമില്ല.

We are become a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and derision to them that are round about us.ഞങ്ങൾ ഞങ്ങളുടെ അയൽക്കാർക്കു അപമാനവും ചുറ്റുമുള്ളവർക്കു നിന്ദയും പരിഹാസവും ആയി തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

How long, LORD? will you be angry for ever? shall your jealousy burn like fire?യഹോവേ, നീ നിത്യം കോപിക്കുന്നതും നിന്റെ തീക്ഷ്ണത തീപോലെ ജ്വലിക്കുന്നതും എത്രത്തോളം?

Pour out your wrath upon the heathen that have not known you, and upon the kingdoms that have not called upon your name.നിന്നെ അറിയാത്ത ജാതികളുടെമോലും നിന്റെ നാമം വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കാത്ത രാജ്യങ്ങളുടെമേലും നിന്റെ ക്രോധത്തെ പകരേണമേ.

For they have devoured Jacob, and laid waste his dwelling place.അവർ യാക്കോബിനെ വിഴുങ്ങിക്കളകയും അവന്റെ പുല്പുറത്തെ ശൂന്യമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തുവല്ലോ.

O remember not against us former iniquities: let your tender mercies speedily prevent us: for we are brought very low.ഞങ്ങളുടെ പൂർവ്വന്മാരുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങളെ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു കണക്കിടരുതേ; നിന്റെ കരുണ വേഗത്തിൽ ഞങ്ങളെ എതിരേല്ക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ; ഞങ്ങൾ ഏറ്റവും എളിമപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of your name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for your name's sake.ഞങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷയായ ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ നാമമഹത്വത്തിന്നായി ഞങ്ങളെ സഹായിക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ നാമംനിമിത്തം ഞങ്ങളെ വിടുവിച്ചു, ഞങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങളെ പരിഹരിക്കേണമേ.

Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is their God? let him be known among the heathen in our sight by the revenging of the blood of your servants which is shed.അവരുടെ ദൈവം എവിടെ എന്നു ജാതികൾ പറയുന്നതു എന്തിന്നു? നിന്റെ ദാസന്മാരുടെ രക്തം ചിന്നിയതിന്റെ പ്രതികാരം ഞങ്ങൾ കാൺകെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ വെളിപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ.

Let the sighing of the prisoner come before you; according to the greatness of your power preserve you those that are appointed to die;ബദ്ധന്മാരുടെ ദീർഘശ്വാസം നിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ വരുമാറാകട്ടെ; മരണത്തിന്നു വിധിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നവരെ നീ നിന്റെ മഹാശക്തിയാൽ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ.

And render unto our neighbours sevenfold into their bosom their reproach, wherewith they have reproached you, O Lord.കർത്താവേ, ഞങ്ങളുടെ അയൽക്കാർ നിന്നെ നിന്ദിച്ച നിന്ദയെ ഏഴിരട്ടിയായി അവരുടെ മാർവ്വിടത്തിലേക്കു പകരം കൊടുക്കേണമേ.

So we your people and sheep of your pasture will give you thanks for ever: we will show forth your praise to all generations.എന്നാൽ നിന്റെ ജനവും നിന്റെ മേച്ചല്പുറത്തെ ആടുകളുമായ ഞങ്ങൾ എന്നേക്കും നിനക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യും. തലമുറതലമുറയോളം ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്റെ സ്തുതിയെ പ്രസ്താവിക്കും.

Psalms 80

Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, you that lead Joseph like a flock; you that dwell between the cherubims, shine forth.ആട്ടിൻ കൂട്ടത്തെപ്പോലെ യോസേഫിനെ നടത്തുന്നവനായി യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ഇടയനായുള്ളോവേ, ചെവിക്കൊള്ളേണമേ; കെരൂബുകളിന്മേൽ അധിവസിക്കുന്നവനേ, പ്രകാശിക്കേണമേ.

Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh stir up your strength, and come and save us.എഫ്രയീമും ബെന്യാമീനും മനശ്ശെയും കാൺകെ നിന്റെ വീര്യബലം ഉണർത്തി ഞങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷെക്കായി വരേണമേ.

Turn us again, O God, and cause your face to shine; and we shall be saved.ദൈവമേ, ഞങ്ങളെ യഥാസ്ഥാനപ്പെടുത്തേണമേ; ഞങ്ങൾ രക്ഷപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു തിരുമുഖം പ്രകാശിപ്പിക്കേണമേ.

O LORD God of hosts, how long will you be angry against the prayer of your people?സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, നീ നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥനെക്കു നേരെ എത്രത്തോളം കോപിക്കും?

You feed them with the bread of tears; and give them tears to drink in great measure.നീ അവർക്കു കണ്ണുനീരിന്റെ അപ്പം തിന്മാൻ കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അനവധി കണ്ണുനീർ അവർക്കു കുടിപ്പാനും കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

You make us a strife unto our neighbours: and our enemies laugh among themselves.നീ ഞങ്ങളെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ അയൽക്കാർക്കു വഴക്കാക്കിതീർക്കുന്നു; ഞങ്ങളുടെ ശത്രുക്കൾ തമ്മിൽ പറഞ്ഞു പരിഹസിക്കുന്നു.

Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause your face to shine; and we shall be saved.സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമേ, ഞങ്ങളെ യഥാസ്ഥാനപ്പെടുത്തേണമേ; ഞങ്ങൾ രക്ഷപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു തിരുമുഖം പ്രകാശിപ്പിക്കേണമേ.

You have brought a vine out of Egypt: you have cast out the heathen, and planted it.നീ മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു ഒരു മുന്തിരവള്ളികൊണ്ടുവന്നു; ജാതികളെ നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു അതിനെ നട്ടു.

You prepared room before it, and did cause it to take deep root, and it filled the land.നീ അതിന്നു തടം എടുത്തു അതു വേരൂന്നി ദേശത്തു പടർന്നു.

The hills were covered with the shadow of it, and the boughs thereof were like the goodly cedars.അതിന്റെ നിഴൽകൊണ്ടു പർവ്വതങ്ങൾ മൂടിയിരുന്നു; അതിന്റെ കൊമ്പുകൾ ദിവ്യദേവദാരുക്കൾ പോലെയും ആയിരുന്നു.

She sent out her boughs unto the sea, and her branches unto the river.അതു കൊമ്പുകളെ സമുദ്രംവരെയും ചില്ലികളെ നദിവരെയും നീട്ടിയിരുന്നു.

Why have you then broken down her hedges, so that all they which pass by the way do pluck her?വഴിപോകുന്നവരൊക്കെയും അതിനെ പറിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം നീ അതിന്റെ വേലികളെ പൊളിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞതു എന്തു?

The boar out of the wood does waste it, and the wild beast of the field does devour it.കാട്ടുപന്നി അതിനെ മാന്തിക്കളയുന്നു; വയലിലെ മൃഗങ്ങൾ അതു തിന്നുകളയുന്നു.

Return, we plead to you, O God of hosts: look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine;സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമേ, തിരിഞ്ഞുവരേണമേ; സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽനിന്നു നോക്കി കടാക്ഷിച്ചു ഈ മുന്തിരിവള്ളിയെ സന്ദർശിക്കേണമേ.

And the vineyard which your right hand has planted, and the branch that you made strong for yourself.നിന്റെ വലങ്കൈ നട്ടിട്ടുള്ളതിനെയും നീ നിനക്കായി വളർത്തിയ തയ്യെയും പാലിക്കേണമേ.

It is burned with fire, it is cut down: they perish at the rebuke of your countenance.അതിനെ തീ വെച്ചു ചുടുകയും വെട്ടിക്കളകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ മുഖത്തിന്റെ ഭർത്സനത്താൽ അവർ നശിച്ചുപോകുന്നു.

Let your hand be upon the man of your right hand, upon the son of man whom you made strong for yourself.നിന്റെ കൈ നിന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തെ പുരുഷന്റെമേൽ നീ നിനക്കായി വളർത്തിയ മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്റെ മേൽതന്നേ ഇരിക്കട്ടെ.

So will not we go back from you: quicken us, and we will call upon your name.എന്നാൽ ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്നെ വിട്ടു പിന്മാറുകയില്ല; ഞങ്ങളെ ജീവിപ്പിക്കേണമേ, എന്നാൽ ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കും.

Turn us again, O LORD God of hosts, cause your face to shine; and we shall be saved.സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, ഞങ്ങളെ യഥാസ്ഥാനപ്പെടുത്തേണമേ; ഞങ്ങൾ രക്ഷപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു തിരുമുഖം പ്രകാശിപ്പിക്കേണമേ.

Psalms 81

Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.നമ്മുടെ ബലമായ ദൈവത്തിന്നു ഘോഷിപ്പിൻ; യാക്കോബിന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു ആർപ്പിടുവിൻ.

Take a psalm, and bring here the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.തപ്പും ഇമ്പമായുള്ള കിന്നരവു വീണയും എടുത്തു സംഗീതം തുടങ്ങുവിൻ.

Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.അമാവാസ്യയിലും നമ്മുടെ ഉത്സവദിവസമായ പൌർണ്ണമാസിയിലും കാഹളം ഊതുവിൻ.

For this was a statute for Israel, and a law of the God of Jacob.ഇതു യിസ്രായേലിന്നു ഒരു ചട്ടവും യാക്കോബിൻ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ഒരു പ്രമാണവും ആകുന്നു.

This he ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt: where I heard a language that I understood not.മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തിന്റെ നേരെ പുറപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ ദൈവം അതു യോസേഫിന്നു ഒരു സാക്ഷ്യമായി നിയമിച്ചു; അവിടെ ഞാൻ അറിയാത്ത ഒരു ഭാഷ കേട്ടു.

I removed his shoulder from the burden: his hands were delivered from the pots.ഞാൻ അവന്റെ തോളിൽനിന്നു ചുമടുനീക്കി; അവന്റെ കൈകൾ കൊട്ട വിട്ടു ഒഴിഞ്ഞു.

You called in trouble, and I delivered you; I answered you in the secret place of thunder: I proved you at the waters of Meribah. Selah.കഷ്ടകാലത്തു നീ വിളിച്ചു, ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു; ഇടിമുഴക്കത്തിന്റെ മറവിൽനിന്നു ഞാൻ നിനക്കു ഉത്തരമരുളി; മെരീബാവെള്ളത്തിങ്കൽ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു. സേലാ.

Hear, O my people, and I will testify unto you: O Israel, if you will hearken unto me;എന്റെ ജനമേ, കേൾക്ക, ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു സാക്ഷ്യം പറയും. യിസ്രായേലേ, നീ എന്റെ വാക്കു കേട്ടെങ്കിൽ കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു.

There shall no strange god be in you; neither shall you worship any strange god.അന്യദൈവം നിനക്കു ഉണ്ടാകരുതു; യാതൊരു അന്യദൈവത്തെയും നീ നമസ്കരിക്കരുതു.

I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt: open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു നിന്നെ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ ദൈവം ആകുന്നു; നിന്റെ വായ് വിസ്താരത്തിൽ തുറക്ക; ഞാൻ അതിനെ നിറെക്കും.

But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel refused me.എന്നാൽ എന്റെ ജനം എന്റെ വാക്കു കേട്ടനുസരിച്ചില്ല. യിസ്രായേൽ എന്നെ കൂട്ടാക്കിയതുമില്ല.

So I gave them up unto their own hearts' lust: and they walked in their own counsels.അതുകൊണ്ടു അവർ സ്വന്ത ആലോചനപ്രകാരം നടക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ അവരെ ഹൃദയകാഠിന്യത്തിന്നു ഏല്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways!അയ്യോ എന്റെ ജനം എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കയും യിസ്രായേൽ എന്റെ വഴികളിൽ നടക്കയും ചെയ്തുവെങ്കിൽ കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു.

I should soon have subdued their enemies, and turned my hand against their adversaries.എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ വേഗത്തിൽ അവരുടെ ശത്രുക്കളെ കീഴടക്കുമായിരുന്നു; അവരുടെ വൈരികളുടെ നേരെ എന്റെ കൈ തിരിക്കുമായിരുന്നു.

The haters of the LORD should have submitted themselves unto him: but their time should have endured for ever.യഹോവയെ പകെക്കുന്നവർ അവന്നു കീഴടങ്ങുമായിരുന്നു; എന്നാൽ ഇവരുടെ ശുഭകാലം എന്നേക്കും നില്ക്കുമായിരുന്നു.

He should have fed them also with the finest of the wheat: and with honey out of the rock should I have satisfied you.അവൻ മേത്തരമായ കോതമ്പുകൊണ്ടു അവരെ പോഷിപ്പിക്കുമായിരുന്നു; ഞാൻ പാറയിൽനിന്നുള്ള തേൻ കൊണ്ടു നിനക്കു തൃപ്തിവരുത്തുമായിരുന്നു.
