Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem: but he did not that which was right in the sight of the LORD, like David his father:ആഹാസ് വാഴ്ചതുടങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ അവന്നു ഇരുപതു വയസ്സായിരുന്നു; അവൻ പതിനാറു സംവത്സരം യെരൂശലേമിൽ വാണു; എന്നാൽ തന്റെ പിതാവായ ദാവീദ് ചെയ്തതുപോലെ യഹോവെക്കു പ്രസാദമായുള്ളതു ചെയ്തില്ല.

For he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, and made also molten images for Baalim.അവൻ യിസ്രായേൽരാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ വഴികളിൽ നടന്നു ബാൽവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ വാർത്തുണ്ടാക്കി.

Moreover he burnt incense in the valley of the son of Hinnom, and burnt his children in the fire, after the abominations of the heathen whom the LORD had cast out before the children of Israel.അവൻ ബെൻ-ഹിന്നോം താഴ്വരയിൽ ധൂപം കാട്ടുകയും യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു യഹോവ നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞ ജാതികളുടെ മ്ളേച്ഛാചാരപ്രകാരം തന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെ അഗ്നിപ്രവേശം ചെയ്യിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

He sacrificed also and burnt incense in the high places, and on the hills, and under every green tree.അവൻ പൂജാഗിരികളിലും ഓരോ പച്ചവൃക്ഷത്തിൻ കീഴിലും ബലികഴിച്ചും ധൂപം കാട്ടിയും പോന്നു.

Wherefore the LORD his God delivered him into the hand of the king of Syria; and they stroke him, and carried away a great multitude of them captives, and brought them to Damascus. And he was also delivered into the hand of the king of Israel, who stroke him with a great slaughter.ആകയാൽ അവന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ അവനെ അരാംരാജാവിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിച്ചു; അവർ അവനെ തോല്പിച്ചു അവരിൽ അസംഖ്യംപേരെ പിടിച്ചു ദമ്മേശെക്കിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി. അവൻ യിസ്രായേൽരാജാവിന്റെ കയ്യിലും ഏല്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടു; അവനും അവനെ അതികഠിനമായി തോല്പിച്ചു.

For Pekah the son of Remaliah slew in Judah an hundred and twenty thousand in one day, which were all valiant men; because they had forsaken the LORD God of their fathers.അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു രെമല്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ പെക്കഹ് യെഹൂദയിൽ ഒരു ലക്ഷത്തിരുപതിനായിരംപേരെ ഒരേദിവസം സംഹരിച്ചു; അവരെല്ലാവരും പരാക്രമശാലികൾ ആയിരുന്നു.

And Zichri, a mighty man of Ephraim, slew Maaseiah the king's son, and Azrikam the governor of the house, and Elkanah that was next to the king.എഫ്രയീമ്യവീരനായ സിക്രി രാജകുമാരനായ മയശേയാവെയും രാജധാനിവിചാരകനായ അസ്രീക്കാമിനെയും രാജാവിന്നു രണ്ടാമനായിരുന്ന എൽക്കാനയെയും കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.

And the children of Israel carried away captive of their brethren two hundred thousand, women, sons, and daughters, and took also away much spoil from them, and brought the spoil to Samaria.യിസ്രായേല്യർ തങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരജനത്തിൽ സ്ത്രീകളും പുത്രന്മാരും പുത്രിമാരുമായി രണ്ടുലക്ഷം പേരെ പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയി, വളരെ കൊള്ളയിട്ടു കൊള്ളയും ശമർയ്യയിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി.

But a prophet of the LORD was there, whose name was Oded: and he went out before the host that came to Samaria, and said unto them, Behold, because the LORD God of your fathers was angry with Judah, he has delivered them into your hand, and all of you have slain them in a rage that reachs up unto heaven.എന്നാൽ ഓദേദ് എന്ന പേരോടെ യഹോവയുടെ ഒരു പ്രവാചകൻ അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവൻ ശമർയ്യയിലേക്കു വന്ന സൈന്യത്തെ എതിരേറ്റു ചെന്നു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ യെഹൂദയോടു കോപിച്ചിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു അവരെ നിങ്ങളുടെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിച്ചു; നിങ്ങൾ അവരെ ആകാശപര്യന്തം എത്തുന്ന ക്രോധത്തോടെ സംഹരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

And now all of you purpose to keep under the children of Judah and Jerusalem for bondmen and bondwomen unto you: but are there not with you, even with you, sins against the LORD your God?ഇപ്പോഴോ നിങ്ങൾ യെഹൂദ്യരെയും യെരൂശലേമ്യരെയും ദാസീദാസന്മാരായി കീഴടക്കുവാൻ ഭാവിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങളുടെ പക്കലും നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയോടുള്ള അകൃത്യങ്ങൾ ഇല്ലയോ?

Now hear me therefore, and deliver the captives again, which all of you have taken captive of your brethren: for the fierce wrath of the LORD is upon you.ആകയാൽ ഞാൻ പറയുന്നതു കേൾപ്പിൻ; നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരിൽനിന്നു നിങ്ങൾ പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന ബദ്ധന്മാരെ വിട്ടയപ്പിൻ; അല്ലെങ്കിൽ യഹോവയുടെ ഉഗ്രകോപം നിങ്ങളുടെമേൽ ഇരിക്കും.

Then certain of the heads of the children of Ephraim, Azariah the son of Johanan, Berechiah the son of Meshillemoth, and Jehizkiah the son of Shallum, and Amasa the son of Hadlai, stood up against them that came from the war,അപ്പോൾ യോഹാനാന്റെ മകൻ അസർയ്യാവു, മെശില്ലേമോത്തിന്റെ മകൻ ബേരെഖ്യാവു, ശല്ലൂമിന്റെ മകൻ യെഹിസ്കീയാവു, ഹദ്ളായിയുടെ മകൻ അമാസാ എന്നിങ്ങനെ എഫ്രയീമ്യതലവന്മാരിൽ ചിലർ യുദ്ധത്തിൽനിന്നു വന്നവരോടു എതിർത്തുനിന്നു അവരോടു:

And said unto them, All of you shall not bring in the captives here: for whereas we have offended against the LORD already, all of you intend to add more to our sins and to our trespass: for our trespass is great, and there is fierce wrath against Israel.നിങ്ങൾ ബദ്ധന്മാരെ ഇവിടെ കൊണ്ടുവരരുതു; നാം തന്നേ യഹോവയോടു അകൃത്യം ചെയ്തിരിക്കെ നമ്മുടെ പാപങ്ങളോടും അകൃത്യത്തോടും ഇനിയും കൂട്ടുവാൻ നിങ്ങൾ ഭാവിക്കുന്നു; നമുക്കു വലിയൊരു അകൃത്യം ഉണ്ടു; ഉഗ്രകോപം യിസ്രായേലിന്മേൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

So the armed men left the captives and the spoil before the princes and all the congregation.അപ്പോൾ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും സർവ്വസഭയും കാൺകെ ആയുധപാണികൾ ബദ്ധന്മാരെയും കൊള്ളയെയും വിട്ടയച്ചു.

And the men which were expressed by name rose up, and took the captives, and with the spoil clothed all that were naked among them, and arrayed them, and shod them, and gave them to eat and to drink, and anointed them, and carried all the feeble of them upon asses, and brought them to Jericho, the city of palm trees, to their brethren: then they returned to Samaria.പേർ ചൊല്ലി വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ട ആളുകൾ എഴുന്നേറ്റു ബദ്ധന്മാരെ കൂട്ടി അവരിൽ നഗ്നന്മാരായവരെ ഒക്കെയും കൊള്ളയിലെ വസ്ത്രം ധരിപ്പിച്ചു; അവരെ ഉടുപ്പിച്ചു ചെരിപ്പും ഇടുവിച്ചശേഷം അവർക്കു തിന്മാനും കുടിപ്പാനും കൊടുത്തു എണ്ണയും തേപ്പിച്ചു ക്ഷീണിച്ചുപോയവരെ ഒക്കെയും കഴുതപ്പുറത്തു കയറ്റി, ഈന്തപ്പട്ടണമായ യെരീഹോവിൽ അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുചെന്നാക്കി ശമർയ്യെക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോയി.

At that time did king Ahaz send unto the kings of Assyria to help him.ആ കാലത്തു ആഹാസ്‌രാജാവു തന്നെ സഹായിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അശ്ശൂർരാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കൽ ആളയച്ചു.

For again the Edomites had come and smitten Judah, and carried away captives.എദോമ്യർ പിന്നെയും വന്നു യെഹൂദ്യരെ തോല്പിക്കയും ബദ്ധന്മാരെ പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോകയും ചെയ്തു.

The Philistines also had invaded the cities of the low country, and of the south of Judah, and had taken Bethshemesh, and Ajalon, and Gederoth, and Shocho with the villages thereof, and Timnah with the villages thereof, Gimzo also and the villages thereof: and they dwelt there.ഫെലിസ്ത്യരും താഴ്വീതിയിലും യെഹൂദയുടെ തെക്കും ഉള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങളെ ആക്രമിച്ചു ബേത്ത്-ശേമെശും അയ്യാലോനും ഗെദേരോത്തും സോഖോവും അതിനോടു ചേർന്ന ഗ്രാമങ്ങളും തിമ്നയും അതിനോടു ചേർന്ന ഗ്രാമങ്ങളും ഗിംസോവും അതിനോടു ചേർന്ന ഗ്രാമങ്ങളും പിടിച്ചു അവിടെ പാർത്തു.

For the LORD brought Judah low because of Ahaz king of Israel; for he made Judah naked, and transgressed sore against the LORD.യിസ്രായേൽരാജാവായ ആഹാസ് യെഹൂദയിൽ നിർമ്മർയ്യാദം കാണിച്ചു യഹോവയോടു മഹാദ്രോഹം ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടു അവന്റെ നിമിത്തം യഹോവ യെഹൂദയെ താഴ്ത്തി.

And Tilgathpilneser king of Assyria came unto him, and distressed him, but strengthened him not.അശ്ശൂർരാജാവായ തിൽഗത്ത്-പിൽനേസെർ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നിട്ടു അവനെ ബലപ്പെടുത്താതെ ഞെരുക്കിയതേയുള്ളു.

For Ahaz took away a portion out of the house of the LORD, and out of the house of the king, and of the princes, and gave it unto the king of Assyria: but he helped him not.ആഹാസ് യെഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽനിന്നും രാജധാനിയിൽനിന്നും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരുടെ പക്കൽനിന്നും കവർന്നെടുത്തു അശ്ശൂർരാജാവിന്നു കൊടുത്തു; എങ്കിലും ഇതിനാൽ അവന്നു സഹായം ഉണ്ടായില്ല.

And in the time of his distress did he trespass yet more against the LORD: this is that king Ahaz.ആഹാസ്‌രാജാവ് തന്റെ കഷ്ടകാലത്തുകൂടെയും യഹോവയോടു അധികം ദ്രോഹം ചെയ്തു.

For he sacrificed unto the gods of Damascus, which stroke him: and he said, Because the gods of the kings of Syria help them, therefore will I sacrifice to them, that they may help me. But they were the ruin of him, and of all Israel.എങ്ങനെയെന്നാൽ: അരാം രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദേവന്മാർ അവരെ സഹായിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു അവർ എന്നെയും സഹായിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ അവർക്കു ബലികഴിക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവൻ തന്നെ തോല്പിച്ച ദമ്മേശെക്കിലെ ദേവന്മാർക്കു ബലികഴിച്ചു; എന്നാൽ അവ അവന്നും എല്ലായിസ്രായേലിന്നും നാശകാരണമായി ഭവിച്ചു.

And Ahaz gathered together the vessels of the house of God, and cut in pieces the vessels of the house of God, and shut up the doors of the house of the LORD, and he made him altars in every corner of Jerusalem.ആഹാസ് ദൈവാലയത്തിലെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളെ എടുത്തു ദൈവാലയത്തിലെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളെ ഉടെച്ചു, യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ വാതിലുകൾ അടെച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ ഓരോ മൂലയിലും ബലിപീഠങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കി.

And in every several city of Judah he made high places to burn incense unto other gods, and provoked to anger the LORD God of his fathers.അന്യദേവന്മാർക്കു ധൂപം കാട്ടുവാൻ അവൻ യെഹൂദയിലെ ഓരോ പട്ടണത്തിലും പൂജാഗിരികൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കി തന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ കോപിപ്പിച്ചു.

Now the rest of his acts and of all his ways, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.അവന്റെ മറ്റുള്ളവൃത്താന്തങ്ങളും സകലപ്രവൃത്തികളും ആദ്യവസാനം യെഹൂദയിലെയും യിസ്രായേലിലെയും രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ പുസ്തകത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

And Ahaz slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city, even in Jerusalem: but they brought him not into the sepulchers of the kings of Israel: and Hezekiah his son reigned in his position.ആഹാസ് തന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരെപ്പോലെ നിദ്രപ്രാപിച്ചു; അവനെ യെരൂശലേംനഗരത്തിൽ അടക്കംചെയ്തു. യിസ്രായേൽരാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ കല്ലറകളിൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നില്ലതാനും; അവന്റെ മകനായ യെഹിസ്കീയാവു അവന്നു പകരം രാജാവായി.

Hezekiah began to reign when he was five and twenty years old, and he reigned nine and twenty years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Abijah, the daughter of Zechariah.യെഹിസ്കീയാവു ഇരുപത്തഞ്ചാം വയസ്സിൽ വാഴ്ച തുടങ്ങി; ഇരുപത്തൊമ്പതു സംവത്സരം യെരൂശലേമിൽ വാണു; അവന്റെ അമ്മെക്കു അബീയാ എന്നു പേർ. അവൾ സെഖയ്യാവിന്റെ മകൾ ആയിരുന്നു.

And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that David his father had done.അവൻ തന്റെ അപ്പനായ ദാവീദ് ചെയ്തതു പോലെ ഒക്കെയും യഹോവെക്കു പ്രസാദമായുള്ളതു ചെയ്തു.

He in the first year of his reign, in the first month, opened the doors of the house of the LORD, and repaired them.അവൻ തന്റെ വാഴ്ചയുടെ ഒന്നാം ആണ്ടിൽ ഒന്നാം മാസത്തിൽ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ വാതിലുകൾ തുറന്നു അറ്റകുറ്റം തീർത്തു.

And he brought in the priests and the Levites, and gathered them together into the east street,അവൻ പുരോഹിതന്മാരെയും ലേവ്യരെയും വരുത്തി കിഴക്കെ വിശാലസ്ഥലത്തു ഒന്നിച്ചുകൂട്ടി അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

And said unto them, Hear me, all of you Levites, sanctify now yourselves, and sanctify the house of the LORD God of your fathers, and carry forth the filthiness out of the holy place.ലേവ്യരേ, എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾപ്പിൻ, ഇപ്പോൾ നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചു നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തെയും ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചു വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽനിന്നു മലിനത നീക്കിക്കളവിൻ.

For our fathers have trespassed, and done that which was evil in the eyes of the LORD our God, and have forsaken him, and have turned away their faces from the habitation of the LORD, and turned their backs.നമ്മുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർ അകൃത്യം ചെയ്തു, നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവെക്കു അനിഷ്ടമായുള്ളതു പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു അവനെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കയും യഹോവയുടെ നിവാസത്തിങ്കൽനിന്നു മുഖം തിരിച്ചു അതിന്നു പുറം കാട്ടുകയും ചെയ്തുവല്ലോ.

Also they have shut up the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps, and have not burned incense nor offered burnt offerings in the holy place unto the God of Israel.അവർ മണ്ഡപത്തിന്റെ വാതിലുകൾ അടെച്ചു, വിളക്കു കെടുത്തി, വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു ധൂപം കാണിക്കാതെയും ഹോമയാഗം കഴിക്കാതെയും ഇരുന്നു.

Wherefore the wrath of the LORD was upon Judah and Jerusalem, and he has delivered them to trouble, to astonishment, and to hissing, as all of you see with your eyes.അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയുടെ കോപം യെഹൂദയുടെയും യെരൂശലേമിന്റെയും മേൽ വന്നു; നിങ്ങൾ സ്വന്തകണ്ണാൽ കാണുന്നതുപോലെ അവൻ അവരെ നടുക്കത്തിന്നും അമ്പരപ്പിന്നും ഹാസ്യത്തിന്നും വിഷയമാക്കിത്തീർത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

For, lo, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons and our daughters and our wives are in captivity for this.നമ്മുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർ വാളിനാൽ വീഴുകയും, നമ്മുടെ പുത്രന്മാരും പുത്രിമാരും നമ്മുടെ ഭാര്യമാരും ഇതുനിമിത്തം പ്രവാസത്തിൽ ആകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

Now it is in mine heart to make a covenant with the LORD God of Israel, that his fierce wrath may turn away from us.ഇപ്പോൾ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ ഉഗ്രകോപം നമ്മെ വിട്ടുമാറേണ്ടതിന്നു അവനോടു ഒരു നിയമം ചെയ്‍വാൻ എനിക്കു താല്പര്യം ഉണ്ടു.

My sons, be not now negligent: for the LORD has chosen you to stand before him, to serve him, and that all of you should minister unto him, and burn incense.എന്റെ മക്കളേ, ഇപ്പോൾ ഉപേക്ഷ കാണിക്കരുതു; തന്നെ ശുശ്രൂഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ നില്പാനും തനിക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷക്കാരായി ധൂപം കാട്ടുവാനും യഹോവ നിങ്ങളെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

Then the Levites arose, Mahath the son of Amasai, and Joel the son of Azariah, of the sons of the Kohathites: and of the sons of Merari, Kish the son of Abdi, and Azariah the son of Jehalelel: and of the Gershonites; Joah the son of Zimmah, and Eden the son of Joah:അപ്പോൾ കെഹാത്യരിൽ അമാസായിയുടെ മകൻ മഹത്ത്, അസർയ്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ യോവേൽ, മെരാർയ്യരിൽ അബ്ദിയുടെ മകൻ കീശ്, യെഹല്ലെലേലിന്റെ മകൻ അസർയ്യാവു; ഗേർശോന്യരിൽ സിമ്മയുടെ മകൻ യോവാഹ്,

And of the sons of Elizaphan; Shimri, and Jeiel: and of the sons of Asaph; Zechariah, and Mattaniah:യോവാഹിന്റെ മകൻ ഏദെൻ; എലീസാ ഫാന്യരിൽ സിമ്രി, യെയൂവേൽ; ആസാഫ്യരിൽ സെഖർയ്യാവു, മത്ഥന്യാവു;

And of the sons of Heman; Jehiel, and Shimei: and of the sons of Jeduthun; Shemaiah, and Uzziel.ഹേമാന്യരിൽ യെഹൂവേൽ, ശിമെയി; യെദൂഥൂന്യരിൽ ശിമയ്യാവു, ഉസ്സീയേൽ എന്നീ ലേവ്യർ എഴുന്നേറ്റു.

And they gathered their brethren, and sanctified themselves, and came, according to the commandment of the king, by the words of the LORD, to cleanse the house of the LORD.തങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരെ ഒന്നിച്ചു കൂട്ടി തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ വിശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചു യഹോവയുടെ വചനപ്രകാരം രാജാവിന്റെ കല്പന അനുസരിച്ചു യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തെ വെടിപ്പാക്കുവാൻ വന്നു.

And the priests went into the inner part of the house of the LORD, to cleanse it, and brought out all the uncleanness that they found in the temple of the LORD into the court of the house of the LORD. And the Levites took it, to carry it out abroad into the brook Kidron.പുരോഹിതന്മാർ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ അകം വെടിപ്പാക്കുവാൻ അതിൽ കടന്നു യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ കണ്ട മലിനതയൊക്കെയും പുറത്തു യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ പ്രാകാരത്തിൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; ലേവ്യർ അതു കൊണ്ടു പോയി കിദ്രോൻ തോട്ടിൽ ഇട്ടുകളഞ്ഞു.

Then they went in to Hezekiah the king, and said, We have cleansed all the house of the LORD, and the altar of burnt offering, with all the vessels thereof, and the showbread table, with all the vessels thereof.യെഹിസ്കീയാരാജാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ അകത്തു ചെന്നു; ഞങ്ങൾ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയം മുഴുവനും ഹോമപീഠവും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങൾ ഒക്കെയും കാഴ്ചയപ്പത്തിന്റെ മേശയും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങൾ ഒക്കെയും വെടിപ്പാക്കി,

Moreover all the vessels, which king Ahaz in his reign did cast away in his transgression, have we prepared and sanctified, and, behold, they are before the altar of the LORD.ആഹാസ്‌രാജാവു തന്റെ വാഴ്ചകാലത്തു തന്റെ ദ്രോഹത്താൽ നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞ ഉപകരണങ്ങൾ ഒക്കെയും നന്നാക്കി വിശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവ യഹോവയുടെ യാഗപീഠത്തിൻ മുമ്പിൽ ഉണ്ടു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

Then Hezekiah the king rose early, and gathered the rulers of the city, and went up to the house of the LORD.യെഹിസ്കീയാരാജാവു കാലത്തെ എഴുന്നേറ്റു നഗരാധിപതികളെ കൂട്ടി യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലേക്കു ചെന്നു.

And they brought seven bullocks, and seven rams, and seven lambs, and seven he goats, for a sin offering for the kingdom, and for the sanctuary, and for Judah. And he commanded the priests the sons of Aaron to offer them on the altar of the LORD.അവർ രാജത്വത്തിന്നും വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിന്നും യെഹൂദെക്കും വേണ്ടി ഏഴു കാളയെയും ഏഴു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെയും ഏഴു കുഞ്ഞാടിനെയും പാപയാഗത്തിന്നായിട്ടു ഏഴു വെള്ളാട്ടുകൊറ്റനെയും കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; അവയെ യഹോവയുടെ യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേൽ യാഗംകഴിപ്പാൻ അവൻ അഹരോന്യരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാരോടു കല്പിച്ചു.

So they killed the bullocks, and the priests received the blood, and sprinkled it on the altar: likewise, when they had killed the rams, they sprinkled the blood upon the altar: they killed also the lambs, and they sprinkled the blood upon the altar.അങ്ങനെ അവർ കാളകളെ അറുത്തു; പുരോഹിതന്മാർ രക്തം വാങ്ങി യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേൽ തളിച്ചു; ആട്ടുകൊറ്റന്മാരെ അറുത്തു രക്തം യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേൽ തളിച്ചു. കുഞ്ഞാടുകളെ അറുത്തു രക്തം യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേൽ തളിച്ചു.

And they brought forth the he goats for the sin offering before the king and the congregation; and they laid their hands upon them:പിന്നെ അവർ പാപയാഗത്തിന്നുള്ള വെള്ളാട്ടുകൊറ്റന്മാരെ രാജാവിന്റെയും സഭയുടെയും മുമ്പിൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; അവർ അവയുടെമേൽ കൈവെച്ചു.

And the priests killed them, and they made reconciliation with their blood upon the altar, to make an atonement for all Israel: for the king commanded that the burnt offering and the sin offering should be made for all Israel.പുരോഹിതന്മാർ അവയെ അറുത്തു എല്ലായിസ്രായേലിന്നും പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം വരുത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു അവയുടെ രക്തം യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേൽ പാപയാഗമായി അർപ്പിച്ചു; എല്ലായിസ്രായേലിന്നും വേണ്ടി ഹോമയാഗവും പാപയാഗവും കഴിക്കേണം എന്നു രാജാവു കല്പിച്ചിരുന്നു.

And he set the Levites in the house of the LORD with cymbals, with psalteries, and with harps, according to the commandment of David, and of Gad the king's seer, and Nathan the prophet: for so was the commandment of the LORD by his prophets.അവൻ ദാവീദിന്റെയും രാജാവിന്റെ ദർശകനായ ഗാദിന്റെയും നാഥാൻ പ്രവാചകന്റെയും കല്പനപ്രകാരം ലേവ്യരെ കൈത്താളങ്ങളോടും വീണകളോടും കിന്നരങ്ങളോടും കൂടെ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ നിർത്തി; അങ്ങനെ പ്രവാചകന്മാർമുഖാന്തരം യഹോവ കല്പിച്ചിരുന്നു.

And the Levites stood with the instruments of David, and the priests with the trumpets.ലേവ്യർ ദാവീദിന്റെ വാദ്യങ്ങളോടും പുരോഹിതന്മാർ കാഹളങ്ങളോടുംകൂടെ നിന്നു.

And Hezekiah commanded to offer the burnt offering upon the altar. And when the burnt offering began, the song of the LORD began also with the trumpets, and with the instruments ordained by David king of Israel.പിന്നെ യെഹിസ്കീയാവു യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേൽ ഹോമയാഗം കഴിപ്പാൻ കല്പിച്ചു. ഹോമയാഗം തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ തന്നേ അവർ കാഹളങ്ങളോടും യിസ്രായേൽരാജാവായ ദാവീദിന്റെ വാദ്യങ്ങളോടും കൂടെ യഹോവെക്കു പാട്ടുപാടുവാൻ തുടങ്ങി.

And all the congregation worshipped, and the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded: and all this continued until the burnt offering was finished.ഉടനെ സർവ്വസഭയും നമസ്കരിച്ചു, സംഗീതക്കാർ പാടുകയും കാഹളക്കാർ ഊതുകയും ചെയ്തു; ഇതൊക്കെയും ഹോമയാഗം കഴിയുന്നതുവരെ ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

And when they had made an end of offering, the king and all that were present with him bowed themselves, and worshipped.യാഗം കഴിച്ചു തീർന്നപ്പോൾ രാജാവും കൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന എല്ലാവരും വണങ്ങി നമസ്കരിച്ചു.

Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praise unto the LORD with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshipped.പിന്നെ യെഹിസ്കീയാരാജാവും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും ലേവ്യരോടു ദാവീദിന്റെയും ആസാഫ് ദർശകന്റെയും വചനങ്ങളാൽ യഹോവെക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്‍വാൻ കല്പിച്ചു. അവൻ സന്തോഷത്തോടെ സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്തു തല കുനിച്ചു നമസ്കരിച്ചു.

Then Hezekiah answered and said, Now all of you have consecrated yourselves unto the LORD, come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into the house of the LORD. And the congregation brought in sacrifices and thank offerings; and as many as were of a free heart burnt offerings.നിങ്ങൾ ഇപ്പോൾ യഹോവെക്കു നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ നിവേദിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അടുത്തുവന്നു യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ ഹനനയാഗങ്ങളും സ്തോത്രയാഗങ്ങളും കൊണ്ടുവരുവിൻ എന്നു യെഹിസ്കീയാവു പറഞ്ഞു; അങ്ങനെ സഭ ഹനനയാഗങ്ങളും സ്തോത്രയാഗങ്ങളും നല്ല മനസ്സുള്ളവർ എല്ലാവരും ഹോമയാഗങ്ങളും കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.

And the number of the burnt offerings, which the congregation brought, was threescore and ten bullocks, an hundred rams, and two hundred lambs: all these were for a burnt offering to the LORD.സഭ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന ഹോമയാഗങ്ങളുടെ എണ്ണം കാള എഴുപതു, ആട്ടുകൊറ്റൻ നൂറു, കുഞ്ഞാടു ഇരുനൂറു; ഇവയൊക്കെയും യഹോവെക്കു മഹായാഗത്തിന്നായിരുന്നു.

And the consecrated things were six hundred oxen and three thousand sheep.നിവേദിതവസ്തുക്കളോ അറുനൂറു കാളയും മൂവായിരം ആടും ആയിരുന്നു.

But the priests were too few, so that they could not flay all the burnt offerings: wherefore their brethren the Levites did help them, till the work was ended, and until the other priests had sanctified themselves: for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.പുരോഹിതന്മാർ ചുരുക്കമായിരുന്നതിനാൽ ഹോമയാഗങ്ങളെല്ലം തോലുരിപ്പാൻ അവർക്കു കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല; അതുകൊണ്ടു അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ ലേവ്യർ ആ വേല തീരുവോളവും പുരോഹിതന്മാരൊക്കെയും തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുവോളവും അവരെ സഹായിച്ചു; തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്നതിൽ ലേവ്യർ പുരോഹിതന്മാരെക്കാൾ അധികം ഉത്സാഹമുള്ളവരായിരുന്നു.

And also the burnt offerings were in abundance, with the fat of the peace offerings, and the drink offerings for every burnt offering. So the service of the house of the LORD was set in order.ഹോമയാഗങ്ങൾ സമാധാനയാഗങ്ങൾക്കുള്ള മേദസ്സിനോടും ഹോമയാഗങ്ങൾക്കുള്ള പാനീയയാഗങ്ങളോടും കൂടെ അനവധി ആയിരുന്നു. ഇങ്ങനെ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലെ ആരാധന യഥാസ്ഥാനത്തായി.

And Hezekiah rejoiced, and all the people, that God had prepared the people: for the thing was done suddenly.ദൈവം ജനത്തിന്നു ഒരുക്കിക്കൊടുത്തതിൽ യെഹിസ്കീയാവും സകലജനവും സന്തോഷിച്ചു; കാര്യം ക്ഷണത്തിലല്ലോ നടന്നതു.

2 Chronicles 30

And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, to keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel.അനന്തരം യെഹിസ്കീയാവു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവെക്കു പെസഹ ആചരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യെരൂശലേമിൽ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലേക്കു വരുവാൻ എല്ലായിസ്രായേലിന്റെയും യെഹൂദയുടെയും അടുക്കൽ ആളയച്ചു; എഫ്രയീമിന്നും മനശ്ശെക്കും എഴുത്തും എഴുതി. രണ്ടാം മാസത്തിൽ പെസഹ ആചരിക്കണമെന്നു

For the king had taken counsel, and his princes, and all the congregation in Jerusalem, to keep the passover in the second month.രാജാവും അവന്റെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും യെരൂശലേമിലെ സർവ്വസഭയം നിർണ്ണയിച്ചിരുന്നു.

For they could not keep it at that time, because the priests had not sanctified themselves sufficiently, neither had the people gathered themselves together to Jerusalem.പുരോഹിതന്മാർ വേണ്ടുന്നത്രയും പേർ തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കാതെയും ജനം യെരൂശലേമിൽ ഒരുമിച്ചുകൂടാതെയും ഇരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു സമയത്തു അതു ആചരിപ്പാൻ അവർക്കു കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്നില്ല.

And the thing pleased the king and all the congregation.ആ കാര്യം രാജാവിന്നും സർവ്വസഭെക്കും സമ്മതമായി.

So they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel at Jerusalem: for they had not done it of a long time in such sort as it was written.ഇങ്ങനെ അവർ യെരൂശലേമിൽ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവെക്കു പെസഹ ആചരിപ്പാൻ വരേണ്ടതിന്നു ബേർ-ശേബമുതൽ ദാൻ വരെ എല്ലായിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ഇടയിലും പരസ്യമാക്കേണമെന്നു ഒരു തീർപ്പുണ്ടാക്കി. അവർ ബഹുകാലമായിട്ടു അതു വിധിപോലെ ആചരിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല.

So the posts went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, All of you children of Israel, return unto the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and he will return to the remnant of you, that are escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria.അങ്ങനെ ഓട്ടാളർ രാജാവിന്റെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരുടെയും എഴുത്തുകൾ എല്ലായിസ്രായേലിന്റെയും യെഹൂദയുടെയും ഇടയിൽ കൊണ്ടുപോയി രാജകല്പനപ്രകാരം പറഞ്ഞതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളേ, അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെയും യിസ്ഹാക്കിന്റെയും യാക്കോബിന്റെയും ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിങ്ങളിൽ അശ്ശൂർരാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു തെറ്റി ഒഴിഞ്ഞ ശേഷിപ്പിന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്കു തിരിയേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അവന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞുകൊൾവിൻ.

And be not all of you like your fathers, and like your brethren, which trespassed against the LORD God of their fathers, who therefore gave them up to desolation, as all of you see.തങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയോടു അകൃത്യം ചെയ്ത നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരെയും നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരെയും പോലെ നിങ്ങൾ ആകരുതു; അവൻ അവരെ നാശത്തിന്നു ഏല്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞതു നിങ്ങൾ കാണുന്നുവല്ലോ.

Now be all of you not stubborn, as your fathers were, but yield yourselves unto the LORD, and enter into his sanctuary, which he has sanctified for ever: and serve the LORD your God, that the fierceness of his wrath may turn away from you.ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരേപ്പോലെ നിങ്ങൾ ദുശ്ശാഠ്യം കാണിക്കരുതു; യഹോവെക്കു നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ ഏല്പിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ; അവൻ സദാകാലത്തേക്കും വിശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന അവന്റെ വീശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിലേക്കു വന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ ഉഗ്രകോപം നിങ്ങളെ വിട്ടുമാറേണ്ടതിന്നു അവനെ സേവിപ്പിൻ.

For if all of you return unto the LORD, your brethren and your children shall find compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this land: for the LORD your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if all of you return unto him.നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവയിങ്കലേക്കു വീണ്ടും തിരിയുന്നു എങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരും പുത്രന്മാരും തങ്ങളെ ബദ്ധരാക്കി കൊണ്ടു പോയവരോടു കരുണ ലഭിച്ചു ഈ ദേശത്തിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിവരും; നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ കൃപയും കരുണയും ഉള്ളവനല്ലോ; നിങ്ങൾ അവന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞു വരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അവൻ നിങ്ങളെ നോക്കാതവണ്ണം മുഖം തിരിച്ചുകളകയില്ല.

So the posts passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh even unto Zebulun: but they laughed them to scorn, and mocked them.ആങ്ങനെ ഓട്ടാളർ എഫ്രയീമിന്റെയും മനശ്ശെയുടെയും ദേശത്തു പട്ടണംതോറും സെബൂലൂൻ വരെ സഞ്ചരിച്ചു; അവരോ അവരെ പരിഹസിച്ചു നിന്ദിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

Nevertheless divers of Asher and Manasseh and of Zebulun humbled themselves, and came to Jerusalem.എങ്കിലും ആശേരിലും മനശ്ശെയിലും സെബൂലൂനിലും ചിലർ തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ താഴ്ത്തി യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു വന്നു.

Also in Judah the hand of God was to give them one heart to do the commandment of the king and of the princes, by the word of the LORD.യെഹൂദയിലും യഹോവയുടെ വചനപ്രകാരം രാജാവും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും കൊടുത്ത കല്പന അനുസരിച്ചുനടക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവർക്കു ഐകമത്യം നല്കുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കൈ വ്യാപരിച്ചു.

And there assembled at Jerusalem much people to keep the feast of unleavened bread in the second month, a very great congregation.അങ്ങനെ രണ്ടാം മാസത്തിൽ പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പത്തിന്റെ ഉത്സവം ആചരിപ്പാൻ ബഹുജനം ഏറ്റവും വലിയോരു സഭയായി യെരൂശലേമിൽ വന്നുകൂടി.

And they arose and took away the altars that were in Jerusalem, and all the altars for incense took they away, and cast them into the brook Kidron.അവർ എഴുന്നേറ്റു യെരൂശലേമിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ബലിപീഠങ്ങളെ നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു സകലധൂപകലശങ്ങളെയും എടുത്തു കിദ്രോൻ തോട്ടിൽ എറിഞ്ഞുകളഞ്ഞു.

Then they killed the passover on the fourteenth day of the second month: and the priests and the Levites were ashamed, and sanctified themselves, and brought in the burnt offerings into the house of the LORD.രണ്ടാം മാസം പതിന്നാലാം തിയ്യതി അവർ പെസഹ അറുത്തു; എന്നാൽ പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരും ലജ്ജിച്ചു തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ വിശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചു യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ ഹോമയാഗങ്ങളെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.

And they stood in their place after their manner, according to the law of Moses the man of God: the priests sprinkled the blood, which they received of the hand of the Levites.അവർ ദൈവപുരുഷനായ മോശെയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണപ്രകാരം തങ്ങൾക്കുള്ള വിധി അനുസരിച്ചു തങ്ങളുടെ സ്ഥാനത്തു നിന്നു; പുരോഹിതന്മാർ ലേവ്യരുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു രക്തം വാങ്ങി തളിച്ചു.

For there were many in the congregation that were not sanctified: therefore the Levites had the charge of the killing of the passovers for every one that was not clean, to sanctify them unto the LORD.തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കാത്തവർ പലരും സഭയിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ശുദ്ധിയില്ലാത്ത ഓരോരുത്തന്നു വേണ്ടി പെസഹ അറുത്തു യെഹോവെക്കു നിവേദിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ലേവ്യർ ഭരമേറ്റിരുന്നു.

For a multitude of the people, even many of Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet did they eat the passover otherwise than it was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, The good LORD pardon every oneവലിയോരു ജനസമൂഹം, എപ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു മനശ്ശെയിൽനിന്നും യിസ്സാഖാരിൽനിന്നും സെബൂലൂനിൽനിന്നും ഉള്ള അനേകർ, തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കാതെ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്ന വിധി വിട്ടു മറ്റൊരു പ്രകാരത്തിൽ പെസഹ തിന്നു. എന്നാൽ യെഹിസ്കീയാവു അവർക്കു വേണ്ടി പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു:

That prepares his heart to seek God, the LORD God of his fathers, though he be not cleansed according to the purification of the sanctuary.വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിന്നു ആവശ്യമായ വിശുദ്ധീകരണംപോലെ വിശുദ്ധനായില്ലെങ്കിലും ദൈവത്തെ, തന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെത്തന്നേ അന്വേഷിപ്പാൻ മനസ്സുവെക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവനോടും ദയാലുവായ യഹോവേ, ക്ഷമിക്കേണമേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And the LORD hearkened to Hezekiah, and healed the people.യഹോവ യെഹിസ്കീയാവിന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥന കേട്ടു ജനത്തെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കി.

And the children of Israel that were present at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with great gladness: and the Levites and the priests praised the LORD day by day, singing with loud instruments unto the LORD.അങ്ങനെ യെരൂശലേമിൽ വന്നുകൂടിയിരുന്ന യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പത്തിന്റെ ഉത്സവം ഏഴു ദിവസം മഹാസന്തോഷത്തോടെ ആചരിച്ചു; ലേവ്യരും പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ഉച്ചനാദമുള്ള വാദ്യങ്ങളാൽ യഹോവെക്കു പാടി ദിവസംപ്രതിയും യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിച്ചു.

And Hezekiah spoke comfortably unto all the Levites that taught the good knowledge of the LORD: and they did eat throughout the feast seven days, offering peace offerings, and making confession to the LORD God of their fathers.യെഹിസ്കീയാവു യഹോവയുടെ ശുശ്രൂഷയിൽ സാമർത്ഥ്യം കാണിച്ച എല്ലാലേവ്യരോടും ഹൃദ്യമായി സംസാരിച്ചു; അവർ സമാധാനയാഗങ്ങൾ അർപ്പിച്ചും തങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു ഏഴുദിവസം ഉത്സവം ഘോഷിച്ചു ഭക്ഷണം കഴിച്ചു.

And the whole assembly took counsel to keep other seven days: and they kept other seven days with gladness.പിന്നെയും ഏഴു ദിവസം ഉത്സവം ആചരിപ്പാൻ സർവ്വസഭയും നിർണ്ണയിച്ചു. അങ്ങനെ അവർ വേറെ ഏഴു ദിവസവും സന്തോഷത്തോടെ ആചരിച്ചു.

For Hezekiah king of Judah did give to the congregation a thousand bullocks and seven thousand sheep; and the princes gave to the congregation a thousand bullocks and ten thousand sheep: and a great number of priests sanctified themselves.യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ യെഹിസ്കീയാവു സഭെക്കു ആയിരം കാളയെയും ഏഴായിരം ആടിനെയും കൊടുത്തു; പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും സഭെക്കു ആയിരം കാളയെയും പതിനായിരം ആടിനെയും കൊടുത്തു; അനേകം പുരോഹിതന്മാർ തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ വിശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചു.

And all the congregation of Judah, with the priests and the Levites, and all the congregation that came out of Israel, and the strangers that came out of the land of Israel, and that dwelt in Judah, rejoiced.യെഹൂദയുടെ സർവ്വസഭയും പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരും യിസ്രായേലിൽനിന്നു വന്ന സർവ്വസഭയും യിസ്രായേൽ ദേശത്തുനിന്നു വന്നു യെഹൂദയിൽ പാർത്തിരുന്ന പരദേശികളും സന്തോഷിച്ചു.

So there was great joy in Jerusalem: for since the time of Solomon the son of David king of Israel there was not the like in Jerusalem.അങ്ങനെ യെരൂശലേമിൽ മഹാസന്തോഷം ഉണ്ടായി; യിസ്രായേൽരാജാവായ ദാവീദിന്റെ മകൻ ശലോമോന്റെ കാലംമുതൽ ഇതുപോലെ യെരൂശലേമിൽ സംഭവിച്ചിട്ടില്ല.

Then the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people: and their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy dwelling place, even unto heaven.ഒടുവിൽ ലേവ്യരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാർ എഴുന്നേറ്റു ജനത്തെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു; അവരുടെ അപേക്ഷ കേൾക്കപ്പെടുകയും അവരുടെ പ്രാർത്ഥന അവന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനിവാസമായ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ എത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു.
