Psalms 109
1
Hold not your peace, O God of my praise;എന്റെ പുകഴ്ചയായ ദൈവമേ, മൌനമായിരിക്കരുതേ.
2
For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.ദുഷ്ടന്റെ വായും വഞ്ചകന്റെ വായും എന്റെ നേരെ തുറന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; ഭോഷ്കുള്ള നാവുകൊണ്ടു അവർ എന്നോടു സംസാരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.അവർ ദ്വേഷവാക്കുകൾകൊണ്ടു എന്നെ വളഞ്ഞു കാരണംകൂടാതെ എന്നോടു പൊരുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer.എന്റെ സ്നേഹത്തിന്നു പകരം അവർ വൈരം കാണിക്കുന്നു; ഞാനോ പ്രാർത്ഥന ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.നന്മെക്കു പകരം തിന്മയും സ്നേഹത്തിന്നു പകരം ദ്വേഷവും അവർ എന്നോടു കാണിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

Set you a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.നീ അവന്റെമേൽ ഒരു ദുഷ്ടനെ നിയമിക്കേണമേ; എതിരാളി അവന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു നിൽക്കട്ടെ.

When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.അവനെ വിസ്തരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവൻ കുറ്റക്കാരനെന്നു തെളിയട്ടെ; അവന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥന പാപമായി തീരട്ടെ.

Let his days be few; and let another take his office.അവന്റെ നാളുകൾ ചുരുങ്ങിപ്പോകട്ടെ; അവന്റെ സ്ഥാനം മറ്റൊരുത്തൻ ഏൽക്കട്ടെ.

Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.അവന്റെ മക്കൾ അനാഥരും അവന്റെ ഭാര്യ വിധവയും ആയി തീരട്ടെ.

Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.അവന്റെ മക്കൾ അലഞ്ഞു തെണ്ടിനടക്കട്ടെ. തങ്ങളുടെ ശൂന്യഭവനങ്ങളെ വിട്ടു ഇരന്നു നടക്കട്ടെ;

Let the extortionist catch all that he has; and let the strangers spoil his labour.കടക്കാരൻ അവന്നുള്ളതൊക്കെയും കൊണ്ടു പോകട്ടെ; അന്യജാതിക്കാർ അവന്റെ പ്രയത്നഫലം കൊള്ളയിടട്ടെ.

Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children.അവന്നു ദയ കാണിപ്പാൻ ആരും ഉണ്ടാകരുതേ; അവന്റെ അനാഥരോടു ആർക്കും കൃപ തോന്നരുതേ.

Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out.അവന്റെ സന്തതി മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകട്ടെ; അടുത്ത തലമുറയിൽ തന്നേ അവരുടെ പേർ മാഞ്ഞു പോകട്ടെ;

Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.അവന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ അകൃത്യം യഹോവ ഓർക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ; അവന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ പാപം മാഞ്ഞുപോകയുമരുതേ.

Let them be before the LORD continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.അവ എല്ലായ്പോഴും യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ ഇരിക്കട്ടെ; അവരുടെ ഓർമ്മ അവൻ ഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.

Because that he remembered not to show mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart.അവൻ ദയ കാണിപ്പാൻ മറന്നുകളഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ; എളിയവനെയും ദരിദ്രനെയും മനംതകർന്നവനെയും മരണപര്യന്തം ഉപദ്രവിച്ചു.

As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him.ശാപം അവന്നു പ്രിയമായിരുന്നു; അതു അവന്നു ഭവിച്ചു; അനുഗ്രഹം അവന്നു അപ്രിയമായിരുന്നു; അതു അവനെ വിട്ടകന്നു പോയി.

As he clothed himself with cursing like with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.അവൻ വസ്ത്രംപോലെ ശാപം ധരിച്ചു; അതു വെള്ളംപോലെ അവന്റെ ഉള്ളിലും എണ്ണപോലെ അവന്റെ അസ്ഥികളിലും ചെന്നു.

Let it be unto him as the garment which covers him, and for a girdle wherewith he is girded continually.അതു അവന്നു പുതെക്കുന്ന വസ്ത്രംപോലെയും നിത്യം അരെക്കു കെട്ടുന്ന കച്ചപോലെയും ഇരിക്കട്ടെ.

Let this be the reward of mine adversaries from the LORD, and of them that speak evil against my soul.ഇതു എന്റെ എതിരാളികൾക്കും എനിക്കു വിരോധമായി ദോഷം പറയുന്നവർക്കും യഹോവ കൊടുക്കുന്ന പ്രതിഫലം ആകുന്നു.

But do you for me, O GOD the Lord, for your name's sake: because your mercy is good, deliver you me.നീയോ കർത്താവായ യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ നാമത്തിന്നടുത്തവണ്ണം എന്നോടു ചെയ്യേണമേ; നിന്റെ ദയ നല്ലതാകകൊണ്ടു എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കേണമേ.

For I am poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.ഞാൻ അരിഷ്ടനും ദരിദ്രനും ആകുന്നു; എന്റെ ഹൃദയം എന്റെ ഉള്ളിൽ മുറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

I am gone like the shadow when it declines: I am tossed up and down as the locust.ചാഞ്ഞുപോകുന്ന നിഴൽപോലെ ഞാൻ കടന്നുപോകുന്നു; ഒരു വെട്ടുക്കിളിയെപ്പോലെ എന്നെ ചാടിക്കുന്നു.

My knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh fails of fatness.എന്റെ മുഴങ്കാലുകൾ ഉപവാസംകൊണ്ടു വിറെക്കുന്നു. എന്റെ ദേഹം പുഷ്ടിവിട്ടു ക്ഷയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

I became also a reproach unto them: when they looked upon me they shook their heads.ഞാൻ അവർക്കു ഒരു നിന്ദയായ്തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നെ കാണുമ്പോൾ അവർ തല കുലുക്കുന്നു.

Help me, O LORD my God: O save me according to your mercy:എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, എന്നെ സഹായിക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ ദയെക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ.

That they may know that this is your hand; that you, LORD, have done it.യഹോവേ, ഇതു നിന്റെ കൈ എന്നും നീ ഇതു ചെയ്തു എന്നും അവർ അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.

Let them curse, but bless you: when they arise, let them be ashamed; but let your servant rejoice.അവർ ശപിക്കട്ടെ; നീയോ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കേണമേ; അവർ എതിർക്കുമ്പോൾ ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകട്ടെ; അടിയനോ സന്തോഷിക്കും;

Let mine adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle.എന്റെ എതിരാളികൾ നിന്ദ ധരിക്കും; പുതെപ്പു പുതെക്കുംപോലെ അവർ ലജ്ജ പുതെക്കും.
30
I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude.ഞാൻ എന്റെ വായ്കൊണ്ടു യഹോവയെ അത്യന്തം സ്തുതിക്കും; അതേ, ഞാൻ പുരുഷാരത്തിന്റെ നടുവിൽ അവനെ പുകഴ്ത്തും.

For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul.അവൻ എളിയവനെ ശിക്ഷെക്കു വിധിക്കുന്നവരുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു രക്ഷിപ്പാൻ അവന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു നില്ക്കുന്നു.
