Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto Philemon our dearly beloved, and fellow labourer,ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിന്റെ ബദ്ധനായ പൌലോസും സഹോദരനായ തിമൊഥെയൊസും ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രിയനും കൂട്ടുവേലക്കാരനുമായ ഫിലേമോൻ എന്ന നിനക്കും

And to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellow soldier, and to the church in your house:സഹോദരിയായ അപ്പിയെക്കും ഞങ്ങളുടെ സഹഭടനായ അർക്കിപ്പൊസിന്നും നിന്റെ വീട്ടിലെ സഭെക്കും എഴുതുന്നതു:

Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.നമ്മുടെ പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിങ്കൽ നിന്നും കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിങ്കൽനിന്നും നിങ്ങൾക്കു കൃപയും സമാധാനവും ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ.

I thank my God, making mention of you always in my prayers,കർത്താവായ യേശുവിനോടും സകലവിശുദ്ധന്മാരോടും നിനക്കുള്ള സ്നേഹത്തെയും വിശ്വാസത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു ഞാൻ കേട്ടിട്ടു

Hearing of your love and faith, which you have toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints;നമ്മിലുള്ള എല്ലാനന്മയുടെയും പരിജ്ഞാനത്താൽ നിന്റെ വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ കൂട്ടായ്മ ക്രിസ്തുവിന്നായി സഫലമാകേണ്ടതിന്നു

That the communication of your faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.എന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥനയിൽ നിന്നെ ഓർത്തു എപ്പോഴും എന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യുന്നു.

For we have great joy and consolation in your love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by you, brother.സഹോദരാ, വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുടെ ഹൃദയം നീ തണുപ്പിച്ചതുനിമിത്തം നിന്റെ സ്നേഹത്തിൽ എനിക്കു വളരെ സന്തോഷവും ആശ്വാസവും ഉണ്ടായി.

Wherefore, though I might be much bold in Christ to admonish you that which is convenient,ആകയാൽ യുക്തമായതു നിന്നോടു കല്പിപ്പാൻ ക്രിസ്തുവിൽ എനിക്കു വളരെ ധൈര്യം ഉണ്ടെങ്കിലും

Yet for love's sake I rather plead to you, being such an one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.പൌലോസ് എന്ന വയസ്സനും ഇപ്പോൾ ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിന്റെ ബദ്ധനുമായിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ ഞാൻ സ്നേഹം നിമിത്തം അപേക്ഷിക്കയത്രേ ചെയ്യുന്നതു.

I plead to you for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds:തടവിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ ജനിപ്പിച്ച എന്റെ മകനായ ഒനേസിമൊസിന്നു വേണ്ടി ആകുന്നു നിന്നോടു അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതു.

Which in time past was to you useless, but now profitable to you and to me:അവൻ മുമ്പെ നിനക്കു പ്രയോജനമില്ലാത്തവൻ ആയിരുന്നു; ഇപ്പോൾ നിനക്കും എനിക്കും നല്ല പ്രയോജനമുള്ളവൻ തന്നേ.

Whom I have sent again: you therefore receive him, that is, mine own bowels:എനിക്കു പ്രാണപ്രിയനായ അവനെ ഞാൻ മടക്കി അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

Whom I would have retained with me, that in your position he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of the gospel:സുവിശേഷംനിമിത്തമുള്ള തടവിൽ എന്നെ ശുശ്രൂഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവനെ നിനക്കു പകരം എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ തന്നേ നിർത്തിക്കൊൾവാൻ എനിക്കു ആഗ്രഹമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

But without your mind would I do nothing; that your benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.എങ്കിലും നിന്റെ ഗുണം നിർബ്ബന്ധത്താൽ എന്നപോലെ അല്ല, മനസ്സോടെ ആകേണ്ടതിന്നു നിന്റെ സമ്മതം കൂടാതെ ഒന്നും ചെയ്‍വാൻ എനിക്കു മനസ്സില്ലായിരുന്നു.

For perhaps he therefore departed for a season, that you should receive him for ever;അവൻ അല്പകാലം വേറുവിട്ടുപോയതു അവനെ സദാകാലത്തേക്കും നിനക്കു ലഭിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ആയിരിക്കും;

Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more unto you, both in the flesh, and in the Lord?അവൻ ഇനി ദാസനല്ല, ദാസന്നു മീതെ പ്രിയസഹോദരൻ തന്നേ; അവൻ വിശേഷാൽ എനിക്കു പ്രിയൻ എങ്കിൽ നിനക്കു ജഡസംബന്ധമായും കർത്തൃസംബന്ധമായും എത്ര അധികം?

If you count me therefore a partner, receive him as myself.ആകയാൽ നീ എന്നെ കൂട്ടാളി എന്നു കരുതുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അവനെ എന്നെപ്പോലെ ചേർത്തുകൊൾക.

If he has wronged you, or owes you ought, put that on mine account;അവൻ നിന്നോടു വല്ലതും അന്യായം ചെയ്തിട്ടോ കടം പെട്ടിട്ടോ ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ അതു എന്റെ പേരിൽ കണക്കിട്ടുകൊൾക.

I Paul have written it with mine own hand, I will repay it: although it be I do not say to you how you owe unto me even yours own self besides.പൌലോസ് എന്ന ഞാൻ സ്വന്തകയ്യാൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ തന്നു തീർക്കാം. നീ നിന്നെ തന്നേ എനിക്കു തരുവാൻ കടംപെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞാൻ പറയേണം എന്നില്ലല്ലോ.

Yea, brother, let me have joy of you in the Lord: refresh my bowels in the Lord.അതേ സഹോദരാ, നിന്നെക്കൊണ്ടു എനിക്കു കർത്താവിൽ ഒരനുഭവം വേണ്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ക്രിസ്തുവിൽ എന്റെ ഹൃദയം തണുപ്പിക്ക.

Having confidence in your obedience I wrote unto you, knowing that you will also do more than I say.നിന്റെ അനുസരണത്തെപ്പറ്റി എനിക്കു നിശ്ചയം ഉണ്ടു; ഞാൻ പറയുന്നതിലുമധികം നീ ചെയ്യും എന്നറിഞ്ഞിട്ടാകുന്നു ഞാൻ എഴുതുന്നതു.

But likewise prepare me also a lodging: for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.ഇതല്ലാതെ നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രാർത്ഥനയാൽ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു നല്കപ്പെടും എന്നു പ്രത്യാശ ഉണ്ടാകകൊണ്ടു എനിക്കു പാർപ്പിടം ഒരുക്കിക്കൊൾക.

There salute you Epaphras, my fellow-prisoner in Christ Jesus;ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിൽ എന്റെ സഹബദ്ധനായ എപ്പഫ്രാസും

Hebrews 1

God, who at several times and in divers manners spoke in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,ദൈവം പണ്ടു ഭാഗം ഭാഗമായിട്ടും വിവിധമായിട്ടും പ്രവാചകന്മാർമുഖാന്തരം പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിട്ടു

Has in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he has appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;ഈ അന്ത്യകാലത്തു പുത്രൻ മുഖാന്തരം നമ്മോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. അവനെ താൻ സകലത്തിന്നും അവകാശിയാക്കി വെച്ചു; അവൻ മുഖാന്തരം ലോകത്തെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കി.

Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:അവൻ അവന്റെ തേജസ്സിന്റെ പ്രഭയും തത്വത്തിന്റെ മുദ്രയും സകലത്തേയും തന്റെ ശക്തിയുള്ള വചനത്താൽ വഹിക്കുന്നവനും ആകകൊണ്ടു പാപങ്ങൾക്കു പരിഹാരം ഉണ്ടാക്കിയശേഷം ഉയരത്തിൽ മഹിമയുടെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു ഇരിക്കയും

Being made so much better than the angels, as he has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.അവൻ ദൈവദൂതന്മാരെക്കാൾ വിശിഷ്ടമായ നാമത്തിന്നു അവകാശിയായതിന്നു ഒത്തവണ്ണം അവരെക്കാൾ ശ്രേഷ്ഠനായിത്തീരുകയും ചെയ്തു.

For unto which of the angels said he at any time, You are my Son, this day have I begotten you? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?“നീ എന്റെ പുത്രൻ; ഞാൻ ഇന്നു നിന്നെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്നും “ഞാൻ അവന്നു പിതാവും അവൻ എനിക്കു പുത്രനും ആയിരിക്കും” എന്നും ദൂതന്മാരിൽ ആരോടെങ്കിലും വല്ലപ്പോഴും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടോ?

And again, when he brings in the First-Born into the world, he says, And let all the angels of God worship him.ആദ്യജാതനെ പിന്നെയും ഭൂതലത്തിലേക്കു പ്രവേശിപ്പിക്കുമ്പോൾ: “ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സകലദൂതന്മാരും അവനെ നമസ്കരിക്കേണം” എന്നു താൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

And of the angels he says, Who makes his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.“അവൻ കാറ്റുകളെ തന്റെ ദൂതന്മാരും അഗ്നിജ്വാലയെ തന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷകന്മാരും ആക്കുന്നു” എന്നു ദൂതന്മാരെക്കുറിച്ചു പറയുന്നു.

But unto the Son he says, Your throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of your kingdom.പുത്രനോടോ: “ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ സിംഹാസനം എന്നും എന്നേക്കുമുള്ളതു; നിന്റെ രാജത്വത്തിന്റെ ചെങ്കോൽ നേരുള്ള ചെങ്കോൽ.

You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.നീ നീതിയെ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുകയും ദുഷ്ടതയെ ദ്വേഷിക്കയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കയാൽ ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ ദൈവം നിന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരിൽ പരമായി നിന്നെ ആനന്ദതൈലംകൊണ്ടു അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്നും

And, You, Lord, in the beginning have laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of yours hands:“കർത്താവേ, നീ പൂർവ്വകാലത്തു ഭൂമിക്കു അടിസ്ഥാനം ഇട്ടു, ആകാശവും നിന്റെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തി ആകുന്നു.

They shall perish; but you remain; and they all shall wax old as does a garment;അവ നശിക്കും; നീയോ നിലനില്ക്കും; അവ എല്ലാം വസ്ത്രംപോലെ പഴകിപ്പോകും;

And as a vesture shall you fold them up, and they shall be changed: but you are the same, and your years shall not fail.ഉടുപ്പുപോലെ നീ അവയെ ചുരുട്ടും; വസ്ത്രംപോലെ അവ മാറിപ്പോകും; നീയോ അനന്യൻ; നിന്റെ സംവത്സരങ്ങൾ അവസാനിക്കയുമില്ല” എന്നും പറയുന്നു.

But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make yours enemies your footstool?“ഞാൻ നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ നിനക്കു പാദപീഠമാക്കുവോളം നീ എന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തിരിക്ക” എന്നു ദൂതന്മാരിൽ ആരോടെങ്കിലും വല്ലപ്പോഴും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടോ?

Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?അവർ ഒക്കെയും രക്ഷപ്രാപിപ്പാനുള്ളവരുടെ ശുശ്രൂഷെക്കു അയക്കപ്പെടുന്ന സേവകാത്മാക്കളല്ലയോ?

Hebrews 2

Therefore we ought to give the more earn heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.അതുകൊണ്ടു നാം വല്ലപ്പോഴും ഒഴുകിപ്പോകാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു കേട്ടതു അധികം ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ കരുതിക്കൊൾവാൻ ആവശ്യമാകുന്നു.

For if the word spoken by angels was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;ദൂതന്മാർമുഖാന്തരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത വചനം സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കയും ഓരോരോ ലംഘനത്തിന്നും അനുസരണക്കേടിന്നും ന്യായമായ പ്രതിഫലം ലഭിക്കയും ചെയ്തു എങ്കിൽ

How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;കർത്താവു താൻ പറഞ്ഞുതുടങ്ങിയതും ദൈവം അടയാളങ്ങളാലും അത്ഭുതങ്ങളാലും വിവിധവീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികളാലും തന്റെ ഇഷ്ടപ്രകാരം പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനെ നല്കിക്കൊണ്ടും സാക്ഷി നിന്നതും കേട്ടവർ

God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to his own will?നമുക്കു ഉറപ്പിച്ചുതന്നതുമായ ഇത്ര വലിയ രക്ഷ നാം ഗണ്യമാക്കാതെ പോയാൽ എങ്ങനെ തെറ്റി ഒഴിയും?

For unto the angels has he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.നാം പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്ന ഭാവിലോകത്തെ അവൻ ദൂതന്മാർക്കല്ലല്ലോ കീഴ്പെടുത്തിയതു.

But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that you are mindful of him? or the son of man that you visit him?എന്നാൽ “മനുഷ്യനെ നീ ഓർക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻ എന്തു? മനുഷ്യപുത്രനെ സന്ദർശിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻ എന്തുമാത്രം?

You made him a little lower than the angels; you crowned him with glory and honour, and did set him over the works of your hands:നീ അവനെ ദൂതന്മാരെക്കാൾ അല്പം മാത്രം താഴ്ത്തി; തേജസ്സും ബഹുമാനവും അവനെ അണിയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾക്കു നീ അവനെ അധിപതി ആക്കി,

You have put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.സകലവും അവന്റെ കാൽക്കീഴാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്നു ഒരുവൻ ഒരേടത്തു സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നു. സകലവും അവന്നു കീഴാക്കിയതിൽ ഒന്നിനെയും കീഴ്പെടുത്താതെ വിട്ടിട്ടില്ല; എന്നാൽ ഇപ്പോൾ സകലവും അവന്നു കീഴ്പെട്ടതായി കാണുന്നില്ല.

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.എങ്കിലും ദൈവകൃപയാൽ എല്ലാവർക്കും വേണ്ടി മരണം ആസ്വദിപ്പാൻ ദൂതന്മാരിലും അല്പം ഒരു താഴ്ചവന്നവനായ യേശു മരണം അനുഭവിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു അവനെ മഹത്വവും ബഹുമാനവും അണിഞ്ഞവനായി നാം കാണുന്നു.

For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.സകലത്തിന്നും ലാക്കും സകലത്തിന്നും കാരണഭൂതനുമായവൻ അനേകം പുത്രന്മാരെ തേജസ്സിലേക്കു നടത്തുമ്പോൾ അവരുടെ രക്ഷാനായകനെ കഷ്ടാനുഭവങ്ങളാൽ തികഞ്ഞവനാക്കുന്നതു യുക്തം ആയിരുന്നു.

For both he that santifies and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്നവന്നും വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നവർക്കും എല്ലാം ഒരുവനല്ലോ പിതാവു; അതു ഹേതുവായി അവൻ അവരെ സഹോദരന്മാർ എന്നു വിളിപ്പാൻ ലജ്ജിക്കാതെ:

Saying, I will declare your name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto you.“ഞാൻ നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ എന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരോടു കീർത്തിക്കും; സഭാമദ്ധ്യേ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ സ്തുതിക്കും”

And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God has given me.എന്നും “ഞാൻ അവനിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കും” എന്നും ഇതാ, ഞാനും ദൈവം എനിക്കു തന്ന മക്കളും” എന്നും പറയുന്നു.

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;മക്കൾ ജഡരക്തങ്ങളോടു കൂടിയവർ ആകകൊണ്ടു അവനും അവരെപ്പോലെ ജഡരക്തങ്ങളോടു കൂടിയവനായി മരണത്തിന്റെ അധികാരിയായ പിശാചിനെ

And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.തന്റെ മരണത്താൽ നീക്കി ജീവപര്യന്തം മരണഭീതിയാൽ അടിമകളായിരുന്നവരെ ഒക്കെയും വിടുവിച്ചു.

¹⁶

For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.ദൂതന്മാരെ സംരക്ഷണചെയ്‍വാനല്ല അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ സന്തതിയെ സംരക്ഷണ ചെയ്‍വാനത്രേ അവൻ വന്നതു.

Wherefore in all things it was essential for him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.അതുകൊണ്ടു ജനത്തിന്റെ പാപങ്ങൾക്കു പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം വരുത്തുവാൻ അവൻ കരുണയുള്ളവനും ദൈവകാര്യത്തിൽ വിശ്വസ്തമഹാപുരോഹിതനും ആകേണ്ടതിന്നു സകലത്തിലും തന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരോടു സദൃശനായിത്തീരുവാൻ ആവശ്യമായിരുന്നു.

For in that he himself has suffered being tempted, he is able to help them that are tempted.താൻ തന്നേ പരീക്ഷിതനായി കഷ്ടമനുഭവിച്ചിരിക്കയാൽ പരീക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നവർക്കു സഹായിപ്പാൻ കഴിവുള്ളവൻ ആകുന്നു.
