Deuteronomy 32
1
Give ear, O all of you heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.ആകശാമേ, ചെവിതരിക; ഞാൻ സംസാരിക്കും; ഭൂമി എന്റെ വായിൻ വാക്കുകളെ കേൾക്കട്ടെ.

My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:മഴപോലെ എന്റെ ഉപദേശം പൊഴിയും; എന്റെ വചനം മഞ്ഞുപോലെയും ഇളമ്പുല്ലിന്മേൽ പൊടിമഴപോലെയും സസ്യത്തിന്മേൽ മാരിപോലെയും ചൊരിയും.

Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe all of you greatness unto our God.ഞാൻ യഹോവയുടെ നാമം ഘോഷിക്കും; നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു മഹത്വം കൊടുപ്പിൻ.

He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.അവൻ പാറ; അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തി അത്യുത്തമം. അവന്റെ വഴികൾ ഒക്കെയും ന്യായം; അവൻ വിശ്വസ്തതയുള്ള ദൈവം, വ്യാജമില്ലാത്തവൻ; നീതിയും നേരുമുള്ളവൻ തന്നേ.

They have corrupted themselves, their spot is not the spot of his children: they are a perverse and crooked generation.അവർ അവനോടു വഷളത്വം കാണിച്ചു: അവർ അവന്റെ മക്കളല്ല, സ്വയകളങ്കമത്രേ; വക്രതയും കോട്ടവുമുള്ള തലമുറ

Do all of you thus requite the LORD, O foolish people and unwise? is not he your father that has bought you? has he not made you, and established you?ഭോഷത്വവും അജ്ഞാനവുമുള്ള ജനമേ, ഇങ്ങനെയോ നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവെക്കു പകരം കൊടുക്കുന്നതു? അവനല്ലോ നിന്റെ പിതാവു, നിന്റെ ഉടയവൻ. അവനല്ലോ നിന്നെ സൃഷ്ടിക്കയും രക്ഷിക്കയും ചെയ്തവൻ.

Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask your father, and he will show you; your elders, and they will tell you.പൂർവ്വദിവസങ്ങളെ ഓർക്കുക: മുന്തലമുറകളുടെ സംവത്സരങ്ങളെ ചിന്തിക്ക; നിന്റെ പിതാവിനോടു ചോദിക്ക, അവൻ അറിയിച്ചുതരും; നിന്റെ വൃദ്ധന്മാരോടു ചോദിക്ക, അവർ പറഞ്ഞുതരും.

When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.മഹോന്നതൻ ജാതികൾക്കു അവകാശം വിഭാഗിക്കയും മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരെ വേർപിരിക്കയും ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ അവൻ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ എണ്ണത്തിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം ജാതികളുടെ അതൃത്തികളെ നിശ്ചയിച്ചു.

For the LORD's portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.യഹോവയുടെ അംശം അവന്റെ ജനവും യാക്കോബ് അവന്റെ അവകാശവും ആകുന്നു.

He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.താൻ അവനെ മരുഭൂമിയിലും ഓളി കേൾക്കുന്ന ശൂന്യപ്രദേശത്തിലും കണ്ടു. അവനെ ചുറ്റി പരിപാലിച്ചു കണ്മണിപോലെ അവനെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചു.

As an eagle stirs up her nest, flutteres over her young, spreads abroad her wings, takes them, bears them on her wings:കഴുകൻ തന്റെ കൂടു അനക്കി കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങൾക്കു മീതെ പറക്കുമ്പോലെ താൻ ചിറകു വിരിച്ചു അവനെ എടുത്തു തന്റെ ചിറകിന്മേൽ അവനെ വഹിച്ചു.

So the LORD alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.യഹോവ തനിയേ അവനെ നടത്തി; അവനോടുകൂടെ അന്യദൈവം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.

He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock;അവൻ ഭൂമിയുടെ ഉന്നതങ്ങളിൽ അവനെ വാഹനമേറ്റി; നിലത്തെ അനുഭവംകൊണ്ടു അവൻ ഉപജീവിച്ചു. അവനെ പാറയിൽനിന്നു തേനും തീക്കല്ലിൽനിന്നു എണ്ണയും കുടിപ്പിച്ചു.

Butter of cattle, and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the fat of kidneys of wheat; and you did drink the pure blood of the grape.പശുക്കളുടെ വെണ്ണയെയും ആടുകളുടെ പാലിനെയും ആട്ടിൻ കുട്ടികളുടെ മേദസ്സിനെയും ബാശാനിലെ ആട്ടുകൊറ്റന്മാരെയും കോലാടുകളെയും കോതമ്പിൻ കാമ്പിനെയും അവന്നു കൊടുത്തു; നീ ദ്രാക്ഷാരക്തമായ വീഞ്ഞു കുടിച്ചു.

But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: you are becoming fat, you are grown thick, you are covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.യെശൂരൂനോ പുഷ്ടിവെച്ചു ഉതെച്ചു; നീ പുഷ്ടിവെച്ചു കനത്തു തടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. തന്നെ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ ദൈവത്തെ അവൻ ത്യജിച്ചു തന്റെ രക്ഷയുടെ പാറയെ നിരസിച്ചു.

They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger.അവർ അന്യദൈവങ്ങളാൽ അവനെ ക്രുദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു, മ്ളേച്ഛതകളാൽ അവനെ കോപിപ്പിച്ചു.

They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.അവർ ദുർഭൂതങ്ങൾക്കു, ദൈവമല്ലാത്തവെക്കു, തങ്ങൾ അറിയാത്ത ദേവന്മാർക്കു ബലികഴിച്ചു; അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർ അവയെ ഭജിച്ചിട്ടില്ല, അവ നൂതനമായി ഉത്ഭവിച്ച നവീനമൂർത്തികൾ അത്രേ.

Of the Rock that brings forth you you are unmindful, and have forgotten God that formed you.നിന്നെ ജനിപ്പിച്ച പാറയെ നീ വിസ്മരിച്ചു നിന്നെ ഉല്പാദിപ്പിച്ച ദൈവത്തെ മറന്നു കളഞ്ഞു.

And when the LORD saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters.യഹോവ കണ്ടു അവരെ തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞു; തന്റെ പുത്രീപുത്രന്മാരോടുള്ള നീരസത്താൽ തന്നേ.

And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very perverse generation, children in whom is no faith.അവൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു: ഞാൻ എന്റെ മുഖം അവർക്കു മറെക്കും; അവരുടെ അന്തം എന്തു എന്നു ഞാൻ നോക്കും. അവർ വക്രതയുള്ള തലമുറ, നേരില്ലാത്ത മക്കൾ.

They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.ദൈവമല്ലാത്തതിനെക്കൊണ്ടു എനിക്കു എരിവുവരുത്തി, മിത്ഥ്യാമൂർത്തികളാൽ എന്നെ മുഷിപ്പിച്ചു ഞാനും ജനമല്ലാത്തവരെക്കൊണ്ടു അവർക്കു എരിവുവരുത്തും; മൂഢജാതിയെക്കൊണ്ടു അവരെ മുഷിപ്പിക്കും

For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the low hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.എന്റെ കോപത്താൽ തീ ജ്വലിച്ചു പാതാളത്തിന്റെ ആഴത്തോളം കത്തും; ഭൂമിയെയും അതിന്റെ അനുഭവത്തെയും ദഹിപ്പിച്ചു പർവ്വതങ്ങളുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങളെ കരിച്ചുകളയും.

I will heap evil upon them; I will spend mine arrows upon them.ഞാൻ അനർത്ഥങ്ങൾ അവരുടെമേൽ കുന്നിക്കും; എന്റെ അസ്ത്രങ്ങൾ അവരുടെ നേരെ ചെലവിടും.

They shall be burnt with hunger, and devoured with burning heat, and with bitter destruction: I will also send the teeth of beasts upon them, with the poison of serpents of the dust.അവർ വിശപ്പുകൊണ്ടു ക്ഷയിക്കും; ഉഷ്ണരോഗത്തിന്നും വിഷവ്യാധിക്കും ഇരയാകും. മൃഗങ്ങളുടെ പല്ലും പന്നഗങ്ങളുടെ വിഷവും ഞാൻ അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ അയക്കും.

The sword without, and terror within, shall destroy both the young man and the virgin, the nursing infant also with the man of gray hairs.വീഥികളിൽ വാളും അറകളിൽ ഭീതിയും യുവാവിനെയും യുവതിയെയും ശിശുവിനെയും നരച്ചവനെയും സംഹരിക്കും.

I said, I would scatter them into corners, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men:ഞങ്ങളുടെ കൈ ജയംകൊണ്ടു; യഹോവയല്ല ഇതൊക്കെയും ചെയ്തതു എന്നു അവരുടെ വൈരികൾ തെറ്റായി വിചാരിക്കയും ശത്രു എനിക്കു ക്രോധം വരുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യും എന്നു ഞാൻ ശങ്കിച്ചിരുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ,

Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should behave themselves strangely, and lest they should say, Our hand is high, and the LORD has not done all this.ഞാൻ അവരെ ഊതിക്കളഞ്ഞു, മനുഷ്യരിൽനിന്നു അവരുടെ ഓർമ്മ ഇല്ലാതാക്കുമായിരുന്നു.

For they are a nation void of counsel, neither is there any understanding in them.അവർ ആലോചനയില്ലാത്ത ജാതി; അവർക്കു വിവേകബുദ്ധിയില്ല.

O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!ഹാ, അവർ ജ്ഞാനികളായി ഇതു ഗ്രഹിച്ചു തങ്ങളുടെ ഭവിഷ്യം ചിന്തിച്ചെങ്കിൽ കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു.

How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up?അവരുടെ പാറ അവരെ വിറ്റുകളകയും യഹോവ അവരെ ഏല്പിച്ചുകൊടുക്കയും ചെയ്തിട്ടല്ലാതെ ഒരുവൻ ആയിരംപേരെ പിന്തുടരുന്നതും ഇരുവർ പതിനായിരംപോരെ ഓടിക്കുന്നതുമെങ്ങനെ?

For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.അവരുടെ പാറ നമ്മുടെ പാറപോലെയല്ല, അതിന്നു നമ്മുടെ ശത്രുക്കൾ തന്നേ സാക്ഷികൾ.

For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter:അവരുടെ മുന്തിരിവള്ളി സൊദോംവള്ളിയിൽനിന്നും ഗൊമോരനിലങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും ഉള്ളതു; അവരുടെ മുന്തിരിപ്പഴം നഞ്ചും മുന്തിരിക്കുല കൈപ്പുമാകുന്നു;

Their wine is the poison of dragons, and the cruel venom of asps.അവരുടെ വീഞ്ഞു മഹാസർപ്പത്തിൻ വിഷവും മൂർഖന്റെ കാളകൂടവും ആകുന്നു.

Is not this laid up in store with me, and sealed up among my treasures?ഇതു എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ സംഗ്രഹിച്ചും എൻഭണ്ഡാരത്തിൽ മുദ്രയിട്ടും ഇരിക്കുന്നില്ലയോ?

To me belongs vengeance and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.അവരുടെ കാൽ വഴുതുങ്കാലത്തേക്കു പ്രതികാരവും പ്രതിഫലവും എന്റെ പക്കൽ ഉണ്ടു; അവരുടെ അനർത്ഥദിവസം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർക്കു ഭവിപ്പാനുള്ളതു ബദ്ധപ്പെടുന്നു.

For the LORD shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he sees that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left.യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തെ ന്യായം വിധിക്കും; അവരുടെ ബലം ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോയി; ബദ്ധനും സ്വതന്ത്രനും ഇല്ലാതെയായി കണ്ടിട്ടു അവൻ സ്വദാസന്മാരെക്കുറിച്ചു അനുതപിക്കും.

And he shall say, Where are their gods, their rock in whom they trusted,അവരുടെ ബലികളുടെ മേദസ്സു തിന്നുകയും പാനീയബലിയുടെ വീഞ്ഞു കുടിക്കയും ചെയ്ത ദേവന്മാരും അവർ ആശ്രയിച്ച പാറയും എവിടെ?

Which did eat the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink offerings? let them rise up and help you, and be your protection.അവർ എഴുന്നേറ്റു നിങ്ങളെ സഹായിച്ചു നിങ്ങൾക്കു ശരണമായിരിക്കട്ടെ എന്നു അവൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യും.

See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.ഞാൻ, ഞാൻ മാത്രമേയുള്ളു; ഞാനല്ലാതെ ദൈവമില്ല എന്നു ഇപ്പോൾ കണ്ടുകൊൾവിൻ. ഞാൻ കൊല്ലുന്നു; ഞാൻ ജീവിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ തകർക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ സൌഖ്യമാക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു വിടുവിക്കുന്നവൻ ഇല്ല.

For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for ever.ഞാൻ ആകശത്തേക്കു കൈ ഉയർത്തി സത്യം ചെയ്യുന്നതു: നിത്യനായിരിക്കുന്ന എന്നാണ--

If I sharpen my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me.എന്റെ മിന്നലാം വാൾ ഞാൻ മൂർച്ചയാക്കി എൻ കൈ ന്യായവിധി തുടങ്ങുമ്പോൾ, ഞാൻ ശത്രുക്കളിൽ പ്രതികാരം നടത്തും; എന്നെ ദ്വേഷിക്കുന്നവർക്കു പകരം വീട്ടും.

I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh; and that with the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges upon the enemy.ഹതന്മാരുടെയും ബദ്ധന്മാരുടെയും രക്തത്താലും, ശത്രുനായകന്മാരുടെ ശിരസ്സിൽനിന്നു ഒലിക്കുന്നതിനാലും ഞാൻ എന്റെ അസ്ത്രങ്ങളെ ലഹരിപ്പിക്കും എന്റെ വാൾ മാംസം തിന്നുകയും ചെയ്യും.

Rejoice, O all of you nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people.ജാതികളേ, അവന്റെ ജനത്തോടുകൂടെ ഉല്ലസിപ്പിൻ; അവൻ സ്വദാസന്മാരുടെ രക്തത്തിന്നു പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യും; തന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളോടു അവൻ പകരം വീട്ടും; തന്റെ ദേശത്തിന്നും ജനത്തിന്നും പാപ പാരിഹാരം വരുത്തും.

And Moses came and spoke all the words of this song in the ears of the people, he, and Hoshea the son of Nun.അനന്തരം മോശെയും നൂന്റെ മകനായ യോശുവയും വന്നു ഈ പാട്ടിന്റെ വചനങ്ങൾ ഒക്കെയും ജനത്തെ ചൊല്ലിക്കേൾപ്പിച്ചു.

And Moses made an end of speaking all these words to all Israel:മോശെ ഈ സകലവചനങ്ങളും എല്ലായിസ്രായേലിനോടും സംസാരിച്ചുതീർന്നപ്പോൾ അവൻ അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു:

And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which all of you shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law.ഈ ന്യായപ്രാമണത്തിലെ വചനങ്ങൾ ഒക്കെയും പ്രമാണിച്ചു നടക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളോടു കല്പിപ്പാന്തക്കവണ്ണം ഞാൻ ഇന്നു നിങ്ങൾക്കു സാക്ഷീകരിക്കുന്ന സകല വചനങ്ങളും മനസ്സിൽ വെച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ.

For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing all of you shall prolong your days in the land, where all of you go over Jordan to possess it.ഇതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു വ്യർത്ഥകാര്യമല്ല, നിങ്ങളുടെ ജീവൻ തന്നേ ആകുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾ കൈവശമാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യോർദ്ദാൻ കടന്നു ചെല്ലുന്നദേശത്തു നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഇതിനാൽ ദീർഘായുസ്സുണ്ടാകും.

And the LORD spoke unto Moses that very same day, saying,അന്നു തന്നേ യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു:

Get you up into this mountain Abarim, unto mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, that is opposite to Jericho; and behold the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel for a possession:നീ യെരീഹോവിന്നെതിരെ മോവാബ് ദേശത്തുള്ള ഈ അബാരീംപർവ്വതത്തിൽ നെബോമലമുകളിൽ കയറി ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കു അവകാശമായി കൊടുക്കുന്ന കനാൻ ദേശത്തെ നോക്കി കാൺക.

And die in the mount where you go up, and be gathered unto your people; as Aaron your brother died in mount Hor, and was gathered unto his people:നിന്റെ സഹോദരനായ അഹരോൻ ഹോർ പർവ്വതത്തിൽ വെച്ചു മരിച്ചു തന്റെ ജനത്തോടു ചേർന്നതുപോലെ നീ കയറുന്ന പർവ്വതത്തിൽവെച്ചു നീയും മരിച്ചു നിന്റെ ജനത്തോടു ചേരും.

Because all of you trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of MeribahKadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because all of you sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.നിങ്ങൾ സീൻമരുഭൂമിയിൽ കാദേശിലെ കലഹജലത്തിങ്കൽ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേവെച്ചു എന്നോടു അകൃത്യം ചെയ്കകൊണ്ടും യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേവെച്ചു എന്നെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടുംതന്നേ.

Yet you shall see the land before you; but you shall not go thither unto the land which I give the children of Israel.നീ ദേശത്തെ നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ കാണും; എങ്കിലും ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കു കൊടുക്കുന്ന ദേശത്തു നീ കടക്കയില്ല.
