There are threescore queens, and fourscore concubines, and virgins without number.അറുപതു രാജ്ഞികളും എണ്പതു വെപ്പാട്ടികളും അസംഖ്യം കന്യകമാരും ഉണ്ടല്ലോ.

My dove, my undefiled is but one; she is the only one of her mother, she is the choice one of her that bare her. Who is she that looks forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners?അരുണോദയംപോലെ ശോഭയും ചന്ദ്രനെപ്പോലെ സൌന്ദര്യവും സൂര്യനെപ്പോലെ നിർമ്മലതയും കൊടികളോടു കൂടിയ സൈന്യംപോലെ ഭയങ്കരത്വവും ഉള്ളോരിവൾ ആർ?

I went down into the garden of nuts to see the fruits of the valley, and to see whether the vine flourished and the pomegranates budded.ഞാൻ തോട്ടിന്നരികെയുള്ള സസ്യങ്ങളെ കാണേണ്ടതിന്നും മുന്തിരിവള്ളി തളിർക്കയും മാതളനാരകം പൂക്കയും ചെയ്തുവോ എന്നു നോക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും അക്രോത്ത് തോട്ടത്തിലേക്കു ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു.

Before even I was aware, my soul made me like the chariots of Amminadib.എന്റെ അഭിലാഷം ഹേതുവായി ഞാൻ അറിയാതെ എന്റെ പ്രഭുജനത്തിൻ രഥങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ എത്തി.

How beautiful are your feet with shoes, O prince's daughter! the joints of your thighs are like jewels, the work of the hands of a cunning workman.മടങ്ങിവരിക, ശൂലേംകാരത്തീ, മടങ്ങിവരിക; ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്നെ ഒന്നു കണ്ടുകൊള്ളട്ടെ, മടങ്ങിവരിക, മടങ്ങിവരിക; നിങ്ങൾ മഹനീമിലെ നൃത്തത്തെപ്പോലെ ശൂലേംകാരത്തിയെ കാണ്മാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നതു എന്തിന്നു?

Your navel is like a round goblet, which wants not liquor: your belly is like an heap of wheat set about with lilies.പ്രഭുകുമാരീ, ചെരിപ്പിട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന നിന്റെ കാൽ എത്ര മനോഹരം! നിന്റെ ഉരുണ്ടു നിതംബം തട്ടാന്റെ പണിയായ ഭൂഷണംപോലെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

Your two breasts are like two young roes that are twins.നിന്റെ നാഭി, വട്ടത്തിലുള്ള പാനപാത്രംപോലെയാകുന്നു; അതിൽ, കലക്കിയ വീഞ്ഞു ഇല്ലാതിരിക്കുന്നില്ല; നിന്റെ ഉദരം താമരപ്പൂ ചുറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്ന കോതമ്പുകൂമ്പാരംപോലെ ആകുന്നു.

Your neck is as a tower of ivory; yours eyes like the pool in Heshbon, by the gate of Bathrabbim: your nose is as the tower of Lebanon which looks toward Damascus.നിന്റെ സ്തനം രണ്ടും ഇരട്ടപിറന്ന രണ്ടു മാൻ കുട്ടികൾക്കു സമം.

This your stature is like to a palm tree, and your breasts to clusters of grapes.പ്രിയേ, പ്രേമഭോഗങ്ങളിൽ നീ എത്ര സുന്ദരി, എത്ര മനോഹര!

I said, I will go up to the palm tree, I will take hold of the boughs thereof: now also your breasts shall be as clusters of the vine, and the smell of your nose like apples;നിന്റെ ശരീരാകൃതി പനയോടും നിന്റെ സ്തനങ്ങൾ മുന്തിരിക്കുലയോടും ഒക്കുന്നു!

And the roof of your mouth like the best wine for my beloved, that goes down sweetly, causing the lips of those that are asleep to speak.ഞാൻ പനമേൽ കയറും; അതിന്റെ മടൽ പിടിക്കും എന്നു ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു. നിന്റെ സ്തനങ്ങൾ മുന്തിരിക്കുലപോലെയും നിന്റെ മൂക്കിന്റെ വാസന നാരങ്ങയുടെ വാസനപോലെയും ആകട്ടെ. നിന്റെ അണ്ണാക്കോ മേത്തരമായ വീഞ്ഞു.

I am my beloved's, and his desire is toward me.അതു എന്റെ പ്രിയന്നു മൃദുപാനമായി അധരത്തിലും പല്ലിലും കൂടി കടക്കുന്നതും ആകുന്നു.

Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the field; let us lodge in the villages.ഞാൻ എന്റെ പ്രിയന്നുള്ളവൾ; അവന്റെ ആഗ്രഹം എന്നോടാകുന്നു.

Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourish, whether the tender grape appear, and the pomegranates bud forth: there will I give you my loves.പ്രിയാ, വരിക; നാം വെളിംപ്രദേശത്തു പോക; നമുക്കു ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിൽ ചെന്നു രാപാർക്കാം.

The mandrakes give a smell, and at our gates are all manner of pleasant fruits, new and old, which I have laid up for you, O my beloved.അതികാലത്തു എഴുന്നേറ്റു മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടങ്ങളിൽ പോയി മുന്തിരിവള്ളി തളിർത്തു പൂ വിടരുകയും മാതളനാരകം പൂക്കയും ചെയ്തുവോ എന്നു നോക്കാം; അവിടെവെച്ചു ഞാൻ നിനക്കു എന്റെ പ്രേമം തരും. [14] ദൂദായ്പഴം സുഗന്ധം വീശുന്നു; നമ്മുടെ വാതിൽക്കൽ സകലവിധവിശിഷ്ട ഫലവും ഉണ്ടു; എന്റെ പ്രിയാ, ഞാൻ നിനക്കായി പഴയതും പുതിയതും സംഗ്രഹിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

Song of Solomon 8

O that you were as my brother, that sucked the breasts of my mother! when I should find you without, I would kiss you; yea, I should not be despised.നീ എന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ മുലകുടിച്ച സഹോദരൻ ആയിരുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ! ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വെളിയിൽ കണ്ടു ചുംബിക്കുമായിരുന്നു; ആരും എന്നെ നിന്ദിക്കയില്ലായിരുന്നു.

I would lead you, and bring you into my mother's house, who would instruct me: I would cause you to drink of spiced wine of the juice of my pomegranate.നീ എനിക്കു ഉപദേശം തരേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അമ്മയുടെ വീട്ടിൽ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുപോകുമായിരുന്നു; സുഗന്ധവർഗ്ഗം ചേർത്ത വീഞ്ഞും എന്റെ മാതളപ്പഴത്തിൻ ചാറും ഞാൻ നിനക്കു കുടിപ്പാൻ തരുമായിരുന്നു.

His left hand should be under my head, and his right hand should embrace me.അവന്റെ ഇടങ്കൈ എന്റെ തലയിൻ കീഴെ ഇരിക്കട്ടെ; അവന്റെ വലങ്കൈ എന്നെ ആശ്ളേഷിക്കട്ടെ.

I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, that all of you stir not up, nor awake my love, until he please.യെരൂശലേംപുത്രിമാരേ, പ്രേമത്തിന്നു ഇഷ്ടമാകുവോളം അതിനെ ഇളക്കരുതു ഉണർത്തുകയുമരുതു എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു ആണയിട്ടപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

Who is this that comes up from the wilderness, leaning upon her beloved? I raised you up under the apple tree: there your mother brought you forth: there she brought you forth that bare you.മരുഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നു തന്റെ പ്രിയന്റെ മേൽ ചാരിക്കൊണ്ടു വരുന്നോരിവൾ ആർ? നാരകത്തിൻ ചുവട്ടിൽവെച്ചു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ഉണർത്തി; അവിടെ വെച്ചല്ലോ നിന്റെ അമ്മ നിന്നെ പ്രസവിച്ചതു; അവിടെവെച്ചല്ലോ നിന്നെ പെറ്റവൾക്കു ഈറ്റുനോവു കിട്ടിയതു.

Set me as a seal upon yours heart, as a seal upon yours arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which has a most vehement flame.എന്നെ ഒരു മുദ്രമോതിരമായി നിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിന്മേലും ഒരു മുദ്രമോതിരമായി നിന്റെ ഭുജത്തിന്മേലും വെച്ചുകൊള്ളേണമേ; പ്രേമം മരണംപോലെ ബലമുള്ളതും പത്നീവ്രതശങ്ക പാതാളംപോലെ കടുപ്പമുള്ളതും ആകുന്നു; അതിന്റെ ജ്വലനം അഗ്നിജ്വലനവും ഒരു ദിവ്യജ്വാലയും തന്നേ.

Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned.ഏറിയ വെള്ളങ്ങൾ പ്രേമത്തെ കെടുപ്പാൻ പോരാ; നദികൾ അതിനെ മുക്കിക്കളകയില്ല. ഒരുത്തൻ തന്റെ ഗൃഹത്തിലുള്ള സർവ്വസമ്പത്തും പ്രേമത്തിന്നു വേണ്ടി കൊടുത്താലും അവനെ നിന്ദിച്ചുകളയും.

We have a little sister, and she has no breasts: what shall we do for our sister in the day when she shall be spoken for?നമുക്കു ഒരു ചെറിയ പെങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടു; അവൾക്കു സ്തനങ്ങൾ വന്നിട്ടില്ല; നമ്മുടെ പെങ്ങൾക്കു കല്യാണം പറയുന്നനാളിൽ നാം അവൾക്കു വേണ്ടി എന്തു ചെയ്യും?

If she be a wall, we will build upon her a palace of silver: and if she be a door, we will enclose her with boards of cedar.അവൾ ഒരു മതിൽ എങ്കിൽ അതിന്മേൽ ഒരു വെള്ളിമകുടം പണിയാമായിരുന്നു; ഒരു വാതിൽ എങ്കിൽ ദേവദാരുപ്പലകകൊണ്ടു അടെക്കാമായിരുന്നു.

I am a wall, and my breasts like towers: then was I in his eyes as one that found favour.ഞാൻ മതിലും എന്റെ സ്തനങ്ങൾ ഗോപുരങ്ങൾ പോലെയും ആയിരുന്നു; അന്നു ഞാൻ അവന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടിയിൽ സമാധാനം പ്രാപിച്ചിരുന്നു.

Solomon had a vineyard at Baalhamon; he let out the vineyard unto keepers; every one for the fruit thereof was to bring a thousand pieces of silver.ശലോമോന്നു ബാൽഹാമോനിൽ ഒരു മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ആ മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടം അവൻ കാവൽക്കാരെ ഏല്പിച്ചു; അതിന്റെ പാട്ടമായിട്ടു, ഓരോരുത്തൻ ആയിരം പണം വീതം കൊണ്ടുവരേണ്ടിയിരുന്നു.

My vineyard, which is mine, is before me: you, O Solomon, must have a thousand, and those that keep the fruit thereof two hundred.എന്റെ സ്വന്ത മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടം എന്റെ കൈവശം ഇരിക്കുന്നു; ശലോമോനേ, നിനക്കു ആയിരവും ഫലം കാക്കുന്നവർക്കു ഇരുനൂറും ഇരിക്കട്ടെ.

You that dwell in the gardens, the companions hearken to your voice: cause me to hear it.ഉദ്യാനനിവാസിനിയേ, സഖിമാർ നിന്റെ സ്വരം ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചു കേൾക്കുന്നു; അതു എന്നെയും കേൾപ്പിക്കേണമേ.

Make haste, my beloved, and be you like to a roe or to a young hart upon the mountains of spices.എന്റെ പ്രിയാ നീ പരിമളപർവ്വതങ്ങളിലെ ചെറുമാനിന്നും കലകൂട്ടിക്കും തുല്യനായി ഓടിപ്പോക.
