Romans 12

I plead to you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that all of you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മനസ്സലിവു ഓർപ്പിച്ചു നിങ്ങളെ പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കുന്നതു: നിങ്ങൾ ബുദ്ധിയുള്ള ആരാധനയായി നിങ്ങളുടെ ശരീരങ്ങളെ ജീവനും വിശുദ്ധിയും ദൈവത്തിന്നു പ്രസാദവുമുള്ള യാഗമായി സമർപ്പിപ്പിൻ.

And be not conformed to this world: but be all of you transformed by the renewing of your mind, that all of you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.ഈ ലോകത്തിന്നു അനുരൂപമാകാതെ നന്മയും പ്രസാദവും പൂർണ്ണതയുമുള്ള ദൈവഹിതം ഇന്നതെന്നു തിരിച്ചറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു മനസ്സു പുതുക്കി രൂപാന്തരപ്പെടുവിൻ.

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God has dealt to every man the measure of faith.ഭാവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു മീതെ ഭാവിച്ചുയരാതെ ദൈവം അവനവന്നു വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ അളവു പങ്കിട്ടതുപോലെ സുബോധമാകുംവണ്ണം ഭാവിക്കേണമെന്നു ഞാൻ എനിക്കു ലഭിച്ച കൃപയാൽ നിങ്ങളിൽ ഓരോരുത്തനോടും പറയുന്നു.

For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:ഒരു ശരീരത്തിൽ നമുക്കു പല അവയവങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടല്ലോ; എല്ലാ അവയവങ്ങൾക്കും പ്രവൃത്തി ഒന്നല്ലതാനും;

So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.അതുപോലെ പലരായ നാം ക്രിസ്തുവിൽ ഒരു ശരീരവും എല്ലാവരും തമ്മിൽ അവയവങ്ങളും ആകുന്നു.

Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;ആകയാൽ നമുക്കു ലഭിച്ച കൃപെക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം വെവ്വേറെ വരം ഉള്ളതുകൊണ്ടു പ്രവചനം എങ്കിൽ വിശ്വാസത്തിന്നു ഒത്തവണ്ണം,

Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teaches, on teaching;ശുശ്രൂഷ എങ്കിൽ ശുശ്രൂഷയിൽ, ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നവൻ എങ്കിൽ ഉപദേശത്തിൽ, പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കുന്നവൻ എങ്കിൽ

Or he that exhorts, on exhortation: he that gives, let him do it with simplicity; he that rules, with diligence; he that shows mercy, with cheerfulness.പ്രബോധനത്തിൽ, ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ ഏകാഗ്രതയോടെ, ഭരിക്കുന്നവൻ ഉത്സാഹത്തോടെ, കരുണചെയ്യുന്നവൻ പ്രസന്നതയോടെ ആകട്ടെ.

Let love be without dissimulation. Detest that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.സ്നേഹം നിർവ്യാജം ആയിരിക്കട്ടെ: തീയതിനെ വെറുത്തു നല്ലതിനോടു പറ്റിക്കൊൾവിൻ.

Be kindly affectionate one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;സഹോദരപ്രീതിയിൽ തമ്മിൽ സ്ഥായിപൂണ്ടു ബഹുമാനിക്കുന്നതിൽ അന്യോന്യം മുന്നിട്ടു കൊൾവിൻ.

Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;ഉത്സാഹത്തിൽ മടുപ്പില്ലാതെ ആത്മാവിൽ എരിവുള്ളവരായി കർത്താവിനെ സേവിപ്പിൻ.

Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;ആശയിൽ സന്തോഷിപ്പിൻ;

Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.കഷ്ടതയിൽ സഹിഷ്ണത കാണിപ്പിൻ; പ്രാർത്ഥനയിൽ ഉറ്റിരിപ്പിൻ; വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുടെ ആവശ്യങ്ങളിൽ കൂട്ടായ്മ കാണിക്കയും അതിഥിസൽക്കാരം ആചരിക്കയും ചെയ്‍വിൻ.

Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.നിങ്ങളെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്നവരെ അനുഗ്രഹിപ്പിൻ; ശപിക്കാതെ അനുഗ്രഹിപ്പിൻ.

Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നവരോടുകൂടെ സന്തോഷിക്കയും കരയുന്നവരോടുകൂടെ കരകയും ചെയ്‍വിൻ.

Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.തമ്മിൽ ഐകമത്യമുള്ളവരായി വലിപ്പം ഭാവിക്കാതെ എളിയവരോടു ചേർന്നുകൊൾവിൻ; നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ ബുദ്ധിമാന്മാർ എന്നു വിചാരിക്കരുതു.

Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.ആർക്കും തിന്മെക്കു പകരം തിന്മ ചെയ്യാതെ സകലമനുഷ്യരുടെയും മുമ്പിൽ യോഗ്യമായതു മുൻകരുതി,

If it be possible, as much as lies in you, live peaceably with all men.കഴിയുമെങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങളാൽ ആവോളം സകലമനുഷ്യരോടും സമാധാനമായിരിപ്പിൻ.

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord.പ്രിയമുള്ളവരേ, നിങ്ങൾ തന്നേ പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യാതെ ദൈവകോപത്തിന്നു ഇടംകൊടുപ്പിൻ; പ്രതികാരം എനിക്കുള്ളതു; ഞാൻ പകരം ചെയ്യും എന്നു കർത്താവു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു, എന്നാൽ

Therefore if yours enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing you shall heap coals of fire on his head.“നിന്റെ ശത്രുവിന്നു വിശക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അവന്നു തിന്മാൻ കൊടുക്ക; ദാഹിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ കുടിപ്പാൻ കൊടുക്ക; അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്താൽ നീ അവന്റെ തലമേൽ തീക്കനൽ കുന്നിക്കും” എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.തിന്മയോടു തോൽക്കാതെ നന്മയാൽ തിന്മയെ ജയിക്കുക.

Romans 13

Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.ഏതു മനുഷ്യനും ശ്രേഷ്ഠാധികാരങ്ങൾക്കു കീഴടങ്ങട്ടെ. ദൈവത്താലല്ലാതെ ഒരധികാരവുമില്ലല്ലോ; ഉള്ള അധികാരങ്ങളോ ദൈവത്താൽ നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

Whosoever therefore resists the power, resists the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.ആകയാൽ അധികാരത്തോടു മറുക്കുന്നവൻ ദൈവ വ്യവസ്ഥയോടു മറുക്കുന്നു. മറുക്കുന്നവരോ ശിക്ഷാവിധി പ്രാപിക്കും.

For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Will you then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and you shall have praise of the same:വാഴുന്നവർ സൽപ്രവൃത്തിക്കല്ല ദുഷ്‌പ്രവൃത്തിക്കത്രേ ഭയങ്കരം. അധികാരസ്ഥനെ ഭയപ്പെടാതിരിപ്പാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നുവോ? നന്മചെയ്ക; എന്നാൽ അവനോടു പുകഴ്ച ലഭിക്കും.

For he is the minister of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid; for he bears not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that does evil.നിന്റെ നന്മെക്കായിട്ടല്ലോ അവൻ ദൈവശുശ്രൂഷക്കാരനായിരിക്കുന്നതു; നീ തിന്മ ചെയ്താലോ ഭയപ്പെടുക; വെറുതെ അല്ല അവൻ വാൾ വഹിക്കുന്നതു; അവൻ ദോഷം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നവന്റെ ശിക്ഷെക്കായി പ്രതികാരിയായ ദൈവശുശ്രൂഷക്കാരൻ തന്നേ.

Wherefore all of you must essentially be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.അതുകൊണ്ടു ശിക്ഷയെ മാത്രമല്ല മനസ്സാക്ഷിയെയും വിചാരിച്ചു കീഴടങ്ങുക ആവശ്യം.

For for this cause pay all of you tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.അതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങൾ നികുതിയും കൊടുക്കുന്നു. അവർ ദൈവശുശ്രൂഷകന്മാരും ആ കാര്യം തന്നേ നോക്കുന്നവരുമാകുന്നു.

Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.എല്ലാവർക്കും കടമായുള്ളതു കൊടുപ്പിൻ; നികുതി കൊടുക്കേണ്ടവന്നു നികുതി; ചുങ്കം കൊടുക്കേണ്ടവന്നു ചുങ്കം; ഭയം കാണിക്കേണ്ടവന്നു ഭയം; മാനം കാണിക്കേണ്ടവന്നു മാനം.

Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loves another has fulfilled the law.അന്യോന്യം സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നതു അല്ലാതെ ആരോടും ഒന്നും കടമ്പെട്ടിരിക്കരുതു; അന്യനെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവൻ ന്യായപ്രമാണം നിവർത്തിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

For this, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not kill, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, You shall not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, You shall love your neighbour as yourself.വ്യഭിചാരം ചെയ്യരുതു, കുല ചെയ്യരുതു, മോഷ്ടിക്കരുതു, മോഹിക്കരുതു, എന്നുള്ളതും മറ്റു ഏതു കല്പനയും കൂട്ടുകാരനെ നിന്നെപ്പോലെ സ്നേഹിക്ക എന്നീ വചനത്തിൽ സംക്ഷേപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

Love works no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.സ്നേഹം കൂട്ടുകാരന്നു ദോഷം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നില്ല; ആകയാൽ സ്നേഹം ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ നിവൃത്തി തന്നേ.

And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.ഇതു ചെയ്യേണ്ടതു ഉറക്കത്തിൽനിന്നു ഉണരുവാൻ നാഴിക വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നിങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങൾ സമയത്തെ അറികയാൽ തന്നേ; നാം വിശ്വസിച്ച സമയത്തെക്കാൾ രക്ഷ ഇപ്പോൾ നമുക്കു അധികം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.രാത്രി കഴിവാറായി പകൽ അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു അതുകൊണ്ടു നാം ഇരുട്ടിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ വെച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു വെളിച്ചത്തിന്റെ ആയുധവർഗ്ഗം ധരിച്ചുകൊൾക.

Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.പകൽസമയത്തു എന്നപോലെ നാം മര്യാദയായി നടക്ക; വെറിക്കൂത്തുകളിലും മദ്യപാനങ്ങളിലുമല്ല, ശയനമോഹങ്ങളിലും ദുഷ്കാമങ്ങളിലുമല്ല, പിണക്കത്തിലും അസൂയയിലുമല്ല.

But put all of you on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof.കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിനെത്തന്നേ ധരിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ. മോഹങ്ങൾ ജനിക്കുമാറു ജഡത്തിന്നായി ചിന്തിക്കരുതു.

Romans 14

Him that is weak in the faith receive all of you, but not to doubtful disputations.സംശയവിചാരങ്ങളെ വിധിക്കാതെ വിശ്വാസത്തിൽ ബലഹീനനായവനെ ചേർത്തുകൊൾവിൻ.

For one believes that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eats herbs.ഒരുവൻ എല്ലാം തിന്നാമെന്നു വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു; ബലഹീനനോ സസ്യാദികളെ തിന്നുന്നു.

Let not him that eats despise him that eats not; and let not him which eats not judge him that eats: for God has received him.തിന്നുന്നവൻ തിന്നാത്തവനെ ധിക്കരിക്കരുതു; തിന്നാത്തവൻ തിന്നുന്നവനെ വിധിക്കരുതു; ദൈവം അവനെ കൈക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

Who are you that judge another man's servant? to his own master he stands or falls. Yea, he shall be held up: for God is able to make him stand.മറ്റൊരുത്തന്റെ ദാസനെ വിധിപ്പാൻ നീ ആർ? അവൻ നില്ക്കുന്നതോ വീഴുന്നതോ സ്വന്തയജമാനന്നത്രേ; അവൻ നില്ക്കുംതാനും; അവനെ നില്ക്കുമാറാക്കുവാൻ കർത്താവിന്നു കഴിയുമല്ലോ.

One man esteems one day above another: another esteems every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.ഒരുവൻ ഒരു ദിവസത്തെക്കാൾ മറ്റൊരു ദിവസത്തെ മാനിക്കുന്നു; വേറൊരുവൻ സകലദിവസങ്ങളെയും മാനിക്കുന്നു; ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ മനസ്സിൽ ഉറെച്ചിരിക്കട്ടെ.

He that regards the day, regards it unto the Lord; and he that regards not the day, to the Lord he does not regard it. He that eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks; and he that eats not, to the Lord he eats not, and gives God thanks.ദിവസത്തെ ആദരിക്കുന്നവൻ കർത്താവിന്നായി ആദരിക്കുന്നു; തിന്നുന്നവൻ കർത്താവിന്നായി തിന്നുന്നു; അവൻ ദൈവത്തെ സ്തുതിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ; തിന്നാത്തവൻ കർത്താവിന്നായി തിന്നാതിരിക്കുന്നു; അവനും ദൈവത്തെ സ്തുതിക്കുന്നു.

For none of us lives to himself, and no man dies to himself.നമ്മിൽ ആരും തനിക്കായി തന്നേ ജീവിക്കുന്നില്ല. ആരും തനിക്കായി തന്നേ മരിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.

For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.ജീവിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ നാം കർത്താവിന്നായി ജീവിക്കുന്നു; മരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ കർത്താവിന്നായി മരിക്കുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ജീവിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലും മരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലും നാം കർത്താവിന്നുള്ളവർ തന്നേ.

In order to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.മരിച്ചവർക്കും ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവർക്കും കർത്താവു ആകേണ്ടതിന്നല്ലോ ക്രിസ്തു മരിക്കയും ഉയിർക്കയും ചെയ്തതു.

But why do you judge your brother? or why do you set at nothing your brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.എന്നാൽ നീ സഹോദരനെ വിധിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു? അല്ല നീ സഹോദരനെ ധിക്കരിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു? നാം എല്ലാവരും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ന്യായാസനത്തിന്നു മുമ്പാകെ നിൽക്കേണ്ടിവരും.

For it is written, As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.“എന്നാണ എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ എല്ലാമുഴങ്കാലും മടങ്ങും, എല്ലാനാവും ദൈവത്തെ സ്തുതിക്കും എന്നു കർത്താവു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു” എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.ആകയാൽ നമ്മിൽ ഓരോരുത്തൻ ദൈവത്തോടു കണക്കു ബോധിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടിവരും.

Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.അതുകൊണ്ടു നാം ഇനി അന്യോന്യം വിധിക്കരുതു; സഹോദരന്നു ഇടർച്ചയോ തടങ്ങലോ വെക്കാതിരിപ്പാൻ മാത്രം ഉറെച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ

I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteems any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.യാതൊന്നും സ്വതവെ മലിനമല്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ കർത്താവായ യേശുവിൽ അറിഞ്ഞും ഉറെച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു. വല്ലതും മലിനം എന്നു എണ്ണുന്നവന്നു മാത്രം അതു മലിനം ആകുന്നു.

But if your brother be grieved with your food, now walk you not charitably. Destroy not him with your food, for whom Christ died.നിന്റെ ഭക്ഷണംനിമിത്തം സഹോദരനെ വ്യസനിപ്പിച്ചാൽ നീ സ്നേഹപ്രകാരം നടക്കുന്നില്ല. ആർക്കുവേണ്ടി ക്രിസ്തു മരിച്ചുവോ അവനെ നിന്റെ ഭക്ഷണംകൊണ്ടു നശിപ്പിക്കരുതു.

Let not then your good be evil spoken of:നിങ്ങളുടെ നന്മെക്കു ദൂഷണം വരുത്തരുതു.

For the kingdom of God is not food and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.ദൈവരാജ്യം ഭക്ഷണവും പാനീയവുമല്ല, നീതിയും സമാധാനവും പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിൽ സന്തോഷവും അത്രേ.

For he that in these things serves Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.അതിൽ ക്രിസ്തുവിനെ സേവിക്കുന്നവൻ ദൈവത്തെ പ്രസാദിപ്പിക്കുന്നവനും മനുഷ്യർക്കു കൊള്ളാകുന്നവനും തന്നേ.

Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.ആകയാൽ നാം സമാധാനത്തിന്നും അന്യോന്യം ആത്മികവദ്ധനെക്കും ഉള്ളതിന്നു ശ്രമിച്ചുകൊൾക.

For food destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eats with offence.ഭക്ഷണംനിമിത്തം ദൈവനിർമ്മാണത്തെ അഴിക്കരുതു. എല്ലാം ശുദ്ധം തന്നേ; എങ്കിലും ഇടർച്ച വരുത്തുമാറു തിന്നുന്ന മനുഷ്യനു അതു ദോഷമത്രേ.

It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby your brother stumbles, or is offended, or is made weak.മാംസം തിന്നാതെയും വീഞ്ഞു കുടിക്കാതെയും സഹോദരന്നു ഇടർച്ച വരുത്തുന്ന യാതൊന്നും ചെയ്യാതെയും ഇരിക്കുന്നതു നല്ലതു.

Have you faith? have it to yourself before God. Happy is he that condemns not himself in that thing which he allows.നിനക്കുള്ള വിശ്വാസം ദൈവസന്നിധിയിൽ നിനക്കു തന്നേ ഇരിക്കട്ടെ; താൻ സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നതിൽ തന്നെത്താൻ വിധിക്കാത്തവൻ ഭാഗ്യവാൻ.

And he that doubts is damned if he eat, because he eats not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.എന്നാൽ സംശയിക്കുന്നവൻ തിന്നുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അതു വിശ്വാസത്തിൽ നിന്നു ഉത്ഭവിക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടു അവൻ കുറ്റക്കാരനായിരിക്കുന്നു. വിശ്വാസത്തിൽ നിന്നു ഉത്ഭവിക്കാത്തതൊക്കെയും പാപമത്രേ.
