Habakkuk 2

I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.ഞാൻ കൊത്തളത്തിൽനിന്നു കാവൽകാത്തുകൊണ്ടു: അവൻ എന്നോടു എന്തരുളിച്ചെയ്യും എന്നും എന്റെ ആവലാധിസംബന്ധിച്ചു ഞാൻ എന്തുത്തരം പറയേണ്ടു എന്നും കാണേണ്ടതിന്നു ദൃഷ്ടിവെക്കും.

And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that reads it.യഹോവ എന്നോടു ഉത്തരം അരുളിയതു: നീ ദർശനം എഴുതുക; ഓടിച്ചു വായിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം അതു പലകയിൽ തെളിവായി വരെക്കുക.

For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.ദർശനത്തിന്നു ഒരു അവധിവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അതു സമാപ്തിയിലേക്കു ബദ്ധപ്പെടുന്നു; സമയം തെറ്റുകയുമില്ല; അതു വൈകിയാലും അതിന്നായി കാത്തിരിക്ക; അതു വരും നിശ്ചയം; താമസിക്കയുമില്ല.

Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.അവന്റെ മനസ്സു അവനിൽ അഹങ്കരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അതു നേരുള്ളതല്ല; നീതിമാനോ വിശ്വാസത്താൽ ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കും.

Yea also, because he trangresses by wine, he is a proud man, neither keeps at home, who enlarges his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathers unto him all nations, and heaps unto him all people:വീഞ്ഞു വിശ്വാസപാതകനാകുന്നു; അഹമ്മതിയുള്ള പുരുഷൻ നിലനിൽക്കയില്ല; അവൻ പാതാളംപോലെ വിസ്താരമായി വായ് പിളർക്കുന്നു; മരണംപോലെ തൃപ്തിപ്പെടാതെയുമിരിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ സകലജാതികളെയും തന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൂട്ടി, സകലവംശങ്ങളെയും തന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചേർക്കുന്നു.

Shall not all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against him, and say, Woe to him that increases that which is not his! how long? and to him that loads himself with thick clay!അവർ ഒക്കെയും അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഒരു സദൃശവും അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു പരിഹാസമായുള്ളോരു പഴഞ്ചൊല്ലും ചൊല്ലി; തന്റെതല്ലാത്തതു വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കയും--എത്രത്തോളം?--പണയപണ്ടം ചുമന്നു കൂട്ടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവന്നു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം എന്നു പറകയില്ലയോ?

Shall they not rise up suddenly that shall bite you, and awake that shall vex you, and you shall be for booties unto them?നിന്റെ കടക്കാർ പെട്ടെന്നു എഴുന്നേൽക്കയും നിന്നെ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടിക്കുന്നവർ ഉണരുകയും നീ അവർക്കു കൊള്ളയായ്തീരുകയും ഇല്ലയോ?

Because you have spoiled many nations, all the remnant of the people shall spoil you; because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein.നീ പലജാതികളോടും കവർച്ച ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടു ജാതികളിൽ ശേഷിപ്പുള്ളവരൊക്കെയും മനുഷ്യരുടെ രക്തംനിമിത്തവും നീ ദേശത്തോടും നഗരത്തോടും അതിന്റെ സകലനിവാസികളോടും ചെയ്ത സാഹസം നിമിത്തവും നിന്നോടും കവർച്ച ചെയ്യും.

Woe to him that covers an evil covetousness to his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the power of evil!അനർത്ഥത്തിൽനിന്നു വിടുവിക്കപ്പെടുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം ഉയരത്തിൽ കൂടുവെക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്റെ വീട്ടിന്നുവേണ്ടി ദുരാദായം ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവന്നു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം!

You have consulted shame to your house by cutting off many people, and have sinned against your soul.പലജാതികളെയും ഛേദിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞതിനാൽ നീ നിന്റെ വീട്ടിന്നു ലജ്ജ നിരൂപിച്ചു നിന്റെ സ്വന്ത പ്രാണനോടു പാപം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

For the stone shall cry out of the wall, and the beam out of the timber shall answer it.ചുവരിൽനിന്നു കല്ലു നിലവിളിക്കയും മരപ്പണിയിൽനിന്നു തുലാം ഉത്തരം പറകയും ചെയ്യുമല്ലോ.

Woe to him that builds a town with blood, and establishes a city by iniquity!രക്തപാതകംകൊണ്ടു പട്ടണം പണിയുകയും നീതികേടുകൊണ്ടു നഗരം സ്ഥാപിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവന്നു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം!

Behold, is it not of the LORD of hosts that the people shall labour in the very fire, and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity?ജാതികൾ തീക്കു ഇരയാകുവാൻ അദ്ധ്വാനിക്കുന്നതും വംശങ്ങൾ വെറുതെ തളർന്നുപോകുന്നതും സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ ഹിതത്താൽ അല്ലയോ?

For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.വെള്ളം സമുദ്രത്തിൽ നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ഭൂമി യഹോവയുടെ മഹത്വത്തിന്റെ പരിജ്ഞാനത്താൽ പൂർണ്ണമാകും.

Woe unto him that gives his neighbour drink, that put your bottle to him, and make him drunken also, that you may look on their nakedness!കൂട്ടുകാരുടെ നഗ്നത കാണേണ്ടതിന്നു അവർക്കു കുടിപ്പാൻ കൊടുക്കയും നഞ്ചു കൂട്ടിക്കലർത്തി ലഹരിപിടിപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവന്നു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം!

You are filled with shame for glory: drink you also, and let your foreskin be uncovered: the cup of the LORD's right hand shall be turned unto you, and shameful spewing shall be on your glory.നിനക്കു മഹത്വംകൊണ്ടല്ല, ലജ്ജകൊണ്ടു തന്നേ പൂർത്തിവന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; നീയും കുടിക്ക; നിന്റെ അഗ്രചർമ്മം അനാവൃതമാക്കുക; യഹോവയുടെ വലങ്കയ്യിലെ പാനപാത്രം നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരും; മഹത്വത്തിന്നു പകരം നിനക്കു അവമാനം ഭവിക്കും.

For the violence of Lebanon shall cover you, and the spoil of beasts, which made them afraid, because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein.മനുഷ്യരുടെ രക്തവും ദേശത്തോടും നഗരത്തോടും അതിന്റെ സകലനിവാസികളോടും ചെയ്ത സാഹസവും ഹേതുവായി ലെബാനോനോടു ചെയ്ത ദ്രോഹവും മൃഗങ്ങളെ പേടിപ്പിച്ച സംഹാരവും നിന്നെ മൂടും.

What profits the graven image that the maker thereof has graven it; the molten image, and a teacher of lies, that the maker of his work trusts therein, to make dumb idols?പണിക്കാരൻ ഒരു ബിംബത്തെ കൊത്തിയുണ്ടാക്കുവാൻ അതിനാലോ, പണിക്കാരൻ വ്യാജം ഉപദേശിക്കുന്ന വാർപ്പുവിഗ്രഹത്തിൽ ആശ്രയിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു ഊമ മിത്ഥ്യാമൂർത്തികളെ ഉണ്ടാക്കുവാൻ അതിനാലോ എന്തു പ്രയോജനം ഉള്ളു?

Woe unto him that says to the wood, Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it is laid over with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it.മരത്തോടു: ഉണരുക എന്നും ഊമക്കല്ലിനോടു: എഴുന്നേൽക്ക എന്നും പറയുന്നവന്നു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! അതു ഉപദേശിക്കുമോ? അതു പൊന്നും വെള്ളിയും പൊതിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; അതിന്റെ ഉള്ളിൽ ശ്വാസം ഒട്ടും ഇല്ലല്ലോ.

But the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.എന്നാൽ യഹോവ തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടു; സർവ്വ ഭൂമിയും അവന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ മൌനമായിരിക്കട്ടെ.

Habakkuk 3

A prayer of Habakkuk the prophet upon Shigionoth.വിഭ്രമരാഗത്തിൽ ഹബക്കൂക്ക് പ്രവാചകന്റെ ഒരു പ്രാർത്ഥനാഗീതം.

O LORD, I have heard your speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive your work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ നിന്റെ കേൾവി കേട്ടു ഭയപ്പെട്ടുപോയി; യഹോവേ, ആണ്ടുകൾ കഴിയുംമുമ്പെ നിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയെ ജീവിപ്പിക്കേണമേ; ആണ്ടുകൾ കഴിയുംമുമ്പെ അതിനെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തേണമേ; ക്രോധത്തിങ്കൽ കരുണ ഓർക്കേണമേ.

God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise.ദൈവം തേമാനിൽനിന്നും പരിശുദ്ധൻ പാറാൻ പർവ്വതത്തിൽനിന്നും വരുന്നു. സേലാ. അവന്റെ പ്രഭ ആകാശത്തെ മൂടുന്നു; അവന്റെ സ്തുതിയാൽ ഭൂമി നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

And his brightness was as the light; he had horns coming out of his hand: and there was the hiding of his power.സൂര്യപ്രകാശംപോലെ ഒരു ശോഭ ഉളവായ്‍വരുന്നു; കിരണങ്ങൾ അവന്റെ പാർശ്വത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുന്നു; അവിടെ അവന്റെ വല്ലഭത്വം മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

Before him went the pestilence, and burning coals went forth at his feet.മഹാമാരി അവന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നടക്കുന്നു; ജ്വരാഗ്നി അവന്റെ പിന്നാലെ ചെല്ലുന്നു.

He stood, and measured the earth: he beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: his ways are everlasting.അവൻ നിന്നു ഭൂമിയെ കുലുക്കുന്നു; അവൻ നോക്കി ജാതികളെ ചിതറിക്കുന്നു; ശാശ്വതപർവ്വതങ്ങൾ പിളർന്നുപോകുന്നു; പുരാതനഗിരികൾ വണങ്ങി വീഴുന്നു; അവൻ പുരാതനപാതകളിൽ നടക്കുന്നു.

I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction: and the curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.ഞാൻ കൂശാന്റെ കൂടാരങ്ങളെ അനർത്ഥത്തിൽ കാണുന്നു; മിദ്യാൻ ദേശത്തിലെ തിരശ്ശീലകൾ വിറെക്കുന്നു.

Was the LORD displeased against the rivers? was yours anger against the rivers? was your wrath against the sea, that you did ride upon yours horses and your chariots of salvation?യഹോവ നദികളോടു നീരസപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നുവോ? നിന്റെ കോപം നദികളുടെ നേരെ വരുന്നുവോ? നീ കുതരിപ്പുറത്തും ജയരഥത്തിലും കയറിയിരിക്കയാൽ നിന്റെ ക്രോധം സമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ നേരെ ഉള്ളതോ?

Your bow was made quite naked, according to the oaths of the tribes, even your word. Selah. You did cleave the earth with rivers.നിന്റെ വില്ലു മുറ്റും അനാവൃതമായിരിക്കുന്നു; വചനത്തിന്റെ ദണ്ഡനങ്ങൾ ആണകളോടുകൂടിയിരിക്കുന്നു. സേലാ. നീ ഭൂമിയെ നദികളാൽ പിളർക്കുന്നു.

The mountains saw you, and they trembled: the overflowing of the water passed by: the deep uttered his voice, and lifted up his hands on high.പർവ്വതങ്ങൾ നിന്നെ കണ്ടു വിറെക്കുന്നു; വെള്ളത്തിന്റെ പ്രവാഹം കടന്നുപോകുന്നു; ആഴി മുഴക്കം പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കുന്നു; ഉയരത്തിലേക്കു കൈ ഉയർത്തുന്നു.

The sun and moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of yours arrows they went, and at the shining of your glittering spear.നിന്റെ അസ്ത്രങ്ങൾ പായുന്ന പ്രകാശത്തിങ്കലും മിന്നിച്ചാടുന്ന കുന്തത്തിന്റെ ശോഭയിങ്കലും സൂര്യനും ചന്ദ്രനും സ്വഗൃഹത്തിൽ നില്ക്കുന്നു.

You did march through the land in indignation, you did thresh the heathen in anger.ക്രോധത്തോടെ നീ ഭൂമിയിൽ ചവിട്ടുന്നു; കോപത്തോടെ ജാതികളെ മെതിക്കുന്നു.

You went forth for the salvation of your people, even for salvation with yours anointed; you wounded the head out of the house of the wicked, by discovering the foundation unto the neck. Selah.നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ രക്ഷെക്കായിട്ടും നിന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്റെ രക്ഷെക്കായിട്ടും നീ പുറപ്പെടുന്നു; നീ ദുഷ്ടന്റെ വീട്ടിൽനിന്നു മോന്തായം തകർത്തു, അടിസ്ഥാനത്തെ കഴുത്തോളം അനാവൃതമാക്കുന്നു. സേലാ.

You did strike through with his staves the head of his villages: they came out as a whirlwind to scatter me: their rejoicing was as to devour the poor secretly.നീ അവന്റെ കുന്തങ്ങൾകൊണ്ടു അവന്റെ യോദ്ധാക്കളുടെ തല കുത്തിത്തുളെക്കുന്നു; എന്നെ ചിതറിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവർ ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റുപോലെ വരുന്നു; എളിയവനെ മറവിൽവെച്ചു വിഴുങ്ങുവാൻ പോകുന്നതുപോലെ അവർ ഉല്ലസിക്കുന്നു.

You did walk through the sea with yours horses, through the heap of great waters.നിന്റെ കുതിരകളോടുകൂടെ നീ സമുദ്രത്തിൽ, പെരുവെള്ളക്കൂട്ടത്തിൽ തന്നേ, നടകൊള്ളുന്നു.

When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he comes up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops.ഞാൻ കേട്ടു എന്റെ ഉദരം കുലുങ്ങിപ്പോയി, മുഴക്കം ഹേതുവായി എന്റെ അധരം വിറെച്ചു; അവൻ ജനത്തെ ആക്രമിപ്പാൻ പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ കഷ്ടദിവസത്തിൽ ഞാൻ വിശ്രമിച്ചിരിക്കേണ്ടതുകൊണ്ടു എന്റെ അസ്ഥികൾക്കു ഉരുക്കം തട്ടി, ഞാൻ നിന്ന നിലയിൽ വിറെച്ചുപോയി.

Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no food; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:അത്തിവൃക്ഷം തളിർക്കയില്ല; മുന്തിരിവള്ളിയിൽ അനുഭവം ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല; ഒലിവുമരത്തിന്റെ പ്രയത്നം നിഷ്ഫലമായ്പോകും; നിലങ്ങൾ ആഹാരം വിളയിക്കയില്ല; ആട്ടിൻ കൂട്ടം തൊഴുത്തിൽനിന്നു നശിച്ചുപോകും; ഗോശാലകളിൽ കന്നുകാലി ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കയില്ല.

Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.എങ്കിലും ഞാൻ യഹോവയിൽ ആനന്ദിക്കും; എന്റെ രക്ഷയുടെ ദൈവത്തിൽ ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കും.

The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു എന്റെ ബലം ആകുന്നു; അവൻ എന്റെ കാൽ പേടമാൻ കാൽപോലെ ആക്കുന്നു; ഉന്നതികളിന്മേൽ എന്നെ നടക്കുമാറാക്കുന്നു. സംഗീതപ്രമാണിക്കു തന്ത്രിനാദത്തോടെ.

Zephaniah 1

The word of the LORD which came unto Zephaniah the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hizkiah, in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah.യെഹൂദാരാജാവായി ആമോന്റെ മകനായ യോശീയാവിന്റെ കാലത്തു, ഹിസ്കീയാവിന്റെ മകനായ അമർയ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ ഗെദല്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ കൂശിയുടെ മകനായ സെഫന്യാവിന്നുണ്ടായ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

I will utterly consume all things from off the land, says the LORD.ഞാൻ ഭൂതലത്തിൽനിന്നു സകലത്തെയും സംഹരിച്ചുകളയും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

I will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the stumbling blocks with the wicked: and I will cut off man from off the land, says the LORD.ഞാൻ മനുഷ്യരെയും മൃഗങ്ങളെയും സംഹരിക്കും; ഞാൻ ആകാശത്തിലെ പറവജാതിയെയും സമുദ്രത്തിലെ മത്സ്യങ്ങളെയും ദുഷ്ടന്മാരോടുകൂടെ ഇടർച്ചകളെയും സംഹരിക്കും; ഞാൻ ഭൂതലത്തിൽ നിന്നു മനുഷ്യനെ ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

I will also stretch out mine hand upon Judah, and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place, and the name of the Chemarims with the priests;ഞാൻ യെഹൂദയുടെ മേലും യെരൂശലേമിലെ സകലനിവാസികളുടെ മേലും കൈ നീട്ടും; ഞാൻ ഈ സ്ഥലത്തുനിന്നു ബാലിന്റെ ശേഷിപ്പിനെയും പുരോഹിതന്മാരോടു കൂടെ പൂജാരികളുടെ പേരിനെയും

And them that worship the host of heaven upon the housetops; and them that worship and that swear by the LORD, and that swear by Malcham;മേൽപുരകളിൽ ആകാശത്തിലെ സൈന്യത്തെ നമസ്കരിക്കുന്നവരെയും യഹോവയെച്ചൊല്ലിയും മൽക്കാമിനെച്ചൊല്ലിയും സത്യം ചെയ്തു നമസ്കരിക്കുന്നവരെയും യഹോവയെ വിട്ടു പിന്മാറിയവരെയും

And them that are turned back from the LORD; and those that have not sought the LORD, nor enquired for him.യഹോവയെ അന്വേഷിക്കയോ അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു ചോദിക്കയോ ചെയ്യാത്തവരെയും ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും.

Hold your peace at the presence of the Lord GOD: for the day of the LORD is at hand: for the LORD has prepared a sacrifice, he has bid his guest.യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ മിണ്ടാതിരിക്ക; യഹോവയുടെ ദിവസം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവ ഒരു യാഗസദ്യ ഒരുക്കി താൻ ക്ഷണിച്ചവരെ വിശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

And it shall come to pass in the day of the LORD's sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king's children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel.എന്നാൽ യഹോവയുടെ യാഗസദ്യയുള്ള ദിവസത്തിൽ ഞാൻ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെയും രാജകുമാരന്മാരെയും അന്യദേശവസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഏവരെയും സന്ദർശിക്കും.

In the same day also will I punish all those that leap on the threshold, which fill their masters' houses with violence and deceit.അന്നാളിൽ ഞാൻ ഉമ്മരപ്പടി ചാടിക്കടക്കുന്ന ഏവരെയും സാഹസവും വഞ്ചനയുംകൊണ്ടു തങ്ങളുടെ യജമാനന്മാരുടെ വീടുകളെ നിറെക്കുന്നവരെയും സന്ദർശിക്കും.

And it shall come to pass in that day, says the LORD, that there shall be the noise of a cry from the fish gate, and an howling from the second, and a great crashing from the hills.അന്നാളിൽ മത്സ്യഗോപുരത്തിൽനിന്നു ഉറക്കെയുള്ളോരു നിലവിളിയും രണ്ടാമത്തെ നഗരാംശത്തിൽനിന്നു ഒരു മുറവിളയും കുന്നുകളിൽനിന്നു ഒരു ത്സടത്സടനാദവും ഉണ്ടാകും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

Wail, all of you inhabitants of Maktesh, for all the merchant people are cut down; all they that bear silver are cut off.മക്തേശ് നിവാസികളെ, മുറയിടുവിൻ; വ്യാപാരിജനം ഒക്കെയും നശിച്ചുപോയല്ലോ; സകല ദ്രവ്യവാഹകന്മാരും ഛേദിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their sediments of wine: that say in their heart, The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil.ആ കാലത്തു ഞാൻ യെരൂശലേമിനെ വിളക്കു കത്തിച്ചു ശോധന കഴിക്കയും മട്ടിന്മേൽ ഉറെച്ചുകിടന്നു: യഹോവ ഗുണമോ ദോഷമോ ചെയ്കയില്ല എന്നു ഹൃദയത്തിൽ പറയുന്ന പുരുഷന്മാരെ സന്ദർശിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

Therefore their goods shall become a booty, and their houses a desolation: they shall also build houses, but not inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, but not drink the wine thereof.അങ്ങനെ അവരുടെ സമ്പത്തു കവർച്ചയും അവരുടെ വീടുകൾ ശൂന്യവും ആയ്തീരും; അവർ വീടു പണിയും, പാർക്കയില്ലതാനും; അവർ മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടം ഉണ്ടാക്കും വീഞ്ഞു കുടിക്കയില്ലതാനും.

The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hastes greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.യഹോവയുടെ മഹാദിവസം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അതു അടുത്തു അത്യന്തം ബദ്ധപ്പെട്ടുവരുന്നു; കേട്ടോ യഹോവയുടെ ദിവസം! വീരൻ അവിടെ കഠിനമായി നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു.

That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of devastation and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,ആ ദിവസം ക്രോധദിവസം, കഷ്ടവും സങ്കടവും ഉള്ള ദിവസം, ശൂന്യതയും നാശവും ഉള്ള ദിവസം, ഇരുട്ടും അന്ധകാരവും ഉള്ള ദിവസം, മേഘവും മൂടലും ഉള്ള ദിവസം,

A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers.ഉറപ്പുള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങൾക്കും ഉയരമുള്ള കൊത്തളങ്ങൾക്കും വിരോധമായി കാഹളനാദവും ആരവവും ഉള്ള ദിവസം തന്നേ.

And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.മനുഷ്യർ കുരുടന്മാരെപ്പോലെ നടക്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം ഞാൻ അവർക്കു കഷ്ടത വരുത്തും; അവർ യഹോവയോടു പാപം ചെയ്തുവല്ലോ; അവരുടെ രക്തം പൊടിപോലെയും അവരുടെ മാംസം കാഷ്ടംപോലെയും ചൊരിയും.

Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD's wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy purging of all them that dwell in the land.യഹോവയുടെ ക്രോധദിവസത്തിൽ അവരുടെ വെള്ളിക്കും പൊന്നിന്നും അവരെ രക്ഷിപ്പാൻ കഴികയില്ല; സർവ്വഭൂമിയും അവന്റെ തീക്ഷ്ണതാഗ്നിക്കു ഇരയായ്തീരും; സകല ഭൂവാസികൾക്കും അവൻ ശീഘ്രസംഹാരം വരുത്തും.
