Psalms 1

Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ ആലോചനപ്രകാരം നടക്കാതെയും പാപികളുടെ വഴിയിൽ നിൽക്കാതെയും പരിഹാസികളുടെ ഇരിപ്പിടത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കാതെയും

But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law does he meditate day and night.യഹോവയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽ സന്തോഷിച്ചു അവന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തെ രാപ്പകൽ ധ്യാനിക്കുന്നവൻ ഭാഗ്യവാൻ.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he does shall prosper.അവൻ, ആറ്റരികത്തു നട്ടിരിക്കുന്നതും തക്കകാലത്തു ഫലം കായ്ക്കുന്നതും ഇലവാടാത്തതുമായ വൃക്ഷംപോലെ ഇരിക്കും; അവൻ ചെയ്യുന്നതൊക്കെയും സാധിക്കും.

The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind drives away.ദുഷ്ടന്മാർ അങ്ങനെയല്ല; അവർ കാറ്റു പാറ്റുന്ന പതിർപോലെയത്രേ.

Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.ആകയാൽ ദുഷ്ടന്മാർ ന്യായവിസ്താരത്തിലും പാപികൾ നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ സഭയിലും നിവർന്നു നിൽക്കുകയില്ല.

For the LORD knows the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.യഹോവ നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ വഴി അറിയുന്നു; ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ വഴിയോ നാശകരം ആകുന്നു.

Psalms 2

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?ജാതികൾ കലഹിക്കുന്നതും വംശങ്ങൾ വ്യർത്ഥമായതു നിരൂപിക്കുന്നതും എന്തു?

The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,യഹോവെക്കും അവന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്നും വിരോധമായി ഭൂമിയിലെ രാജാക്കന്മാർ എഴുന്നേൽക്കുയും അധിപതികൾ തമ്മിൽ ആലോചിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നതു:

Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.നാം അവരുടെ കെട്ടുകളെ പൊട്ടിച്ചു അവരുടെ കയറുകളെ എറിഞ്ഞുകളക.

He that sits in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision.സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ വസിക്കുന്നവൻ ചിരിക്കുന്നു; കർത്താവു അവരെ പരിഹസിക്കുന്നു.

Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.അന്നു അവൻ കോപത്തോടെ അവരോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യും; ക്രോധത്തോടെ അവരെ ഭ്രമിപ്പിക്കും.

Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധപർവ്വതമായ സീയോനിൽ ഞാൻ എന്റെ രാജാവിനെ വാഴിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

I will declare the decree: the LORD has said unto me, You are my Son; this day have I begotten you.ഞാൻ ഒരു നിർണ്ണയം പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നു: യഹോവ എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു: നീ എന്റെ പുത്രൻ; ഇന്നു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

Ask of me, and I shall give you the heathen for yours inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.എന്നോടു ചോദിച്ചുകൊൾക; ഞാൻ നിനക്കു ജാതികളെ അവകാശമായും ഭൂമിയുടെ അറ്റങ്ങളെ കൈവശമായും തരും;

You shall break them with a rod of iron; you shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.ഇരിമ്പുകോൽകൊണ്ടു നീ അവരെ തകർക്കും; കുശവന്റെ പാത്രംപോലെ അവരെ ഉടെക്കും.

Be wise now therefore, O all of you kings: be instructed, all of you judges of the earth.ആകയാൽ രാജാക്കന്മാരേ, ബുദ്ധി പഠിപ്പിൻ; ഭൂമിയിലെ ന്യായാധിപന്മാരേ, ഉപദേശം കൈക്കൊൾവിൻ.

Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.ഭയത്തോടെ യഹോവയെ സേവിപ്പിൻ; വിറയലോടെ ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിപ്പിൻ.

Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and all of you perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.അവൻ കോപിച്ചിട്ടു നിങ്ങൾ വഴിയിൽവെച്ചു നശിക്കാതിരിപ്പാൻ പുത്രനെ ചുംബിപ്പിൻ. അവന്റെ കോപം ക്ഷണത്തിൽ ജ്വലിക്കും; അവനെ ശരണം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നവരൊക്കെയും ഭാഗ്യവാന്മാർ.

Psalms 3

Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.യഹോവേ, എന്റെ വൈരികൾ എത്ര പെരുകിയിരിക്കുന്നു! എന്നോടു എതിർക്കുന്നവർ അനേകർ ആകുന്നു.

Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.അവന്നു ദൈവത്തിങ്കൽ രക്ഷയില്ല എന്നു എന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു പലരും പറയുന്നു. സേലാ.

But you, O LORD, are a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.നീയോ യഹോവേ, എനിക്കു ചുറ്റും പരിചയും എന്റെ മഹത്വവും എന്റെ തല ഉയർത്തുന്നവനും ആകുന്നു.

I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.ഞാൻ യഹോവയോടു ഉച്ചത്തിൽ നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധപർവ്വതത്തിൽനിന്നു ഉത്തരം അരുളുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. സേലാ.

I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.ഞാൻ കിടന്നുറങ്ങി; യഹോവ എന്നെ താങ്ങുകയാൽ ഉണർന്നുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.എനിക്കു വിരോധമായി ചുറ്റും പാളയമിറങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്ന ആയിരം ആയിരം ജനങ്ങളെ ഞാൻ ഭയപ്പെടുകയില്ല.

Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for you have smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; you have broken the teeth of the ungodly.യഹോവേ, എഴുന്നേൽക്കേണമേ; എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ. നീ എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ ഒക്കെയും ചെകിട്ടത്തടിച്ചു; നീ ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ പല്ലു തകർത്തുകളഞ്ഞു.

Salvation belongs unto the LORD: your blessing is upon your people. Selah.രക്ഷ യഹോവെക്കുള്ളതാകുന്നു; നിന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹം നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്മേൽ വരുമാറാകട്ടെ. സേലാ.
