Ezekiel 4

You also, son of man, take you a tile, and lay it before you, and illustrate upon it the city, even Jerusalem:മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ ഒരു ഇഷ്ടിക എടുത്തു നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ വെച്ചു അതിൽ യെരൂശലേംനഗരം വരെച്ചു, അതിനെ നിരോധിച്ചു,

And lay siege against it, and build a fort against it, and cast a mount against it; set the camp also against it, and set battering rams against it round about.അതിന്റെനേരെ കൊത്തളം പണിതു വാടകോരി പാളയം അടിച്ചു ചുറ്റും യന്ത്രമുട്ടികളെ വെക്കുക.

Moreover take you unto you an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between you and the city: and set your face against it, and it shall be besieged, and you shall lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.പിന്നെ ഒരു ഇരുമ്പുചട്ടി എടുത്തു നിനക്കും നഗരത്തിന്നും മദ്ധ്യേ ഇരിമ്പുമതിലായി വെക്കുക; നിന്റെ മുഖം അതിന്റെനേരെ വെച്ചു, അതു നിരോധത്തിൽ ആകേണ്ടതിന്നു അതിനെ നിരോധിക്ക; ഇതു യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിന്നു ഒരടയാളം ആയിരിക്കട്ടെ;

Lie you also upon your left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that you shall lie upon it you shall bear their iniquity.പിന്നെ നീ ഇടത്തുവശം ചരിഞ്ഞുകിടന്നു യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ അകൃത്യം അതിന്മേൽ ചുമത്തുക; നീ ആ വശം കിടക്കുന്ന ദിവസങ്ങളുടെ എണ്ണത്തോളം അവരുടെ അകൃത്യം വഹിക്കേണം.

For I have laid upon you the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shall you bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.ഞാൻ അവരുടെ അകൃത്യത്തിന്റെ സംവത്സരങ്ങളെ നിനക്കു ദിവസങ്ങളായി എണ്ണും; അങ്ങനെ മുന്നൂറ്റി തൊണ്ണൂറു ദിവസം നീ യിസ്രായേൽ ഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ അകൃത്യം വഹിക്കേണം.

And when you have accomplished them, lie again on your right side, and you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed you each day for a year.ഇതു തികെച്ചിട്ടു നീ വലത്തുവശം ചരിഞ്ഞു കിടന്നു യെഹൂദാഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ അകൃത്യം നാല്പതു ദിവസം വഹിക്കേണം; ഒരു സംവത്സരത്തിന്നു ഒരു ദിവസംവീതം ഞാൻ നിനക്കു നിയമിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

Therefore you shall set your face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and yours arm shall be uncovered, and you shall prophesy against it.നീ യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ നിരോധത്തിന്നുനേരെ നിന്റെ മുഖവും നഗ്നമായ ഭുജവും വെച്ചു അതിന്നു വിരോധമായി പ്രവചിക്കേണം.

And, behold, I will lay bands upon you, and you shall not turn you from one side to another, till you have ended the days of your siege.നിന്റെ നിരോധകാലം തികയുവോളം നീ ഒരു വശത്തുനിന്നു മറുവശത്തേക്കു തിരിയാതെ ഇരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ ഇതാ, കയറുകൊണ്ടു നിന്നെ കെട്ടുന്നു.

Take you also unto you wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentils, and millet, and fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make you bread thereof, according to the number of the days that you shall lie upon your side, three hundred and ninety days shall you eat thereof.നീ കോതമ്പും യവവും അമരയും ചെറുപയറും തിനയും ചോളവും എടുത്തു ഒരു പാത്രത്തിൽ ഇട്ടു അവകൊണ്ടു അപ്പം ഉണ്ടാക്കുക; നീ വശംചരിഞ്ഞു കിടക്കുന്ന ദിവസങ്ങളുടെ എണ്ണത്തിന്നൊത്തവണ്ണം മുന്നൂറ്റിതൊണ്ണൂറു ദിവസം അതു തിന്നേണം.

And your food which you shall eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time shall you eat it.നീ ഭക്ഷിക്കുന്ന ആഹാരം ഒരു ദിവസത്തേക്കു ഇരുപതു ശേക്കെൽ തൂക്കമായിരിക്കേണം; നേരത്തോടു നേരം നീ അതുകൊണ്ടു ഉപജീവിച്ചുകൊള്ളേണം.

You shall drink also water by measure, the sixth part of an hin: from time to time shall you drink.വെള്ളവും അളവുപ്രകാരം ഹീനിൽ ആറിൽ ഒരു ഓഹരി നീ കുടിക്കേണം; നേരത്തോടുനേരം നീ അതു കുടിക്കേണം.

And you shall eat it as barley cakes, and you shall bake it with dung that comes out of man, in their sight.നീ അതു യവദോശപോലെ തിന്നേണം; അവർ കാൺകെ നീ മാനുഷമലമായ കാഷ്ഠം കാത്തിച്ചു അതു ചുടേണം.

And the LORD said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, where I will drive them.ഇങ്ങനെ തന്നേ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ, ഞാൻ അവരെ നീക്കിക്കളയുന്ന ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ തങ്ങളുടെ ആഹാരം മലിനമായി ഭക്ഷിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul has not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dies of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.അതിന്നു ഞാൻ: അയ്യോ, യഹോവയായ കർത്താവേ, എനിക്കു ഒരിക്കലും ഒരു മാലിന്യവും ഭവിച്ചിട്ടില്ല; ഞാൻ ബാല്യംമുതൽ ഇന്നുവരെ താനേ ചത്തതിനെയോ പറിച്ചുകീറിപ്പോയതിനെയോ തിന്നിട്ടില്ല; അറെപ്പായുള്ള മാംസം എന്റെ വായിൽ വെച്ചിട്ടുമില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

Then he said unto me, Lo, I have given you cow's dung for man's dung, and you shall prepare your bread therewith.അവൻ എന്നോടു: നോക്കുക മാനുഷകാഷ്ഠത്തിന്നു പകരം ഞാൻ നിനക്കു പശുവിൻ ചാണകം അനുവദിക്കുന്നു; അതു കത്തിച്ചു നിന്റെ അപ്പം ചുട്ടുകൊൾക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight, and with care; and they shall drink water by measure, and with astonishment:മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, അപ്പവും വെള്ളവും അവർക്കു മുട്ടിപ്പോകേണ്ടതിന്നും ഓരോരുത്തനും സ്തംഭിച്ചു അകൃത്യം നിമിത്തം ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകേണ്ടതിന്നും

That they may lack bread and water, and be astonished one with another, and consume away for their iniquity.ഞാൻ യെരൂശലേമിൽ അപ്പം എന്ന കോൽ ഒടിച്ചുകളയും; അവർ തൂക്കപ്രകാരവും പേടിയോടെയും അപ്പം തിന്നും; അവർ അളവു പ്രകാരവും സ്തംഭനത്തോടെയും വെള്ളം കുടിക്കും എന്നു അവൻ എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

Ezekiel 5

And you, son of man, take you a sharp knife, take you a barber's razor, and cause it to pass upon yours head and upon your beard: then take you balances to weigh, and divide the hair.മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ മൂർച്ചയുള്ളോരു വാൾ എടുത്തു ക്ഷൌരക്കത്തിയായി പ്രയോഗിച്ചു നിന്റെ തലയും താടിയും ക്ഷൌരംചെയ്ക; പിന്നെ തുലാസ്സു എടുത്തു രോമം തൂക്കി വിഭാഗിക്ക.

You shall burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and you shall take a third part, and strike about it with a knife: and a third part you shall scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them.നിരോധകാലം തികയുമ്പോൾ മൂന്നിൽ ഒന്നു നീ നഗരത്തിന്റെ നടുവിൽ തീയിൽ ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയേണം; മൂന്നിൽ ഒന്നു എടുത്തു അതിന്റെ ചുറ്റും വാൾകൊണ്ടു അടിക്കേണം; മൂന്നിൽ ഒന്നു കാറ്റത്തു ചിതറിച്ചുകളയേണം; അവയുടെ പിന്നാലെ ഞാൻ വാളൂരും.

You shall also take thereof a few in number, and bind them in your skirts.അതിൽനിന്നു കുറഞ്ഞോരു സംഖ്യ നീ എടുത്തു നിന്റെ വസ്ത്രത്തിന്റെ കോന്തലെക്കൽ കെട്ടേണം.

Then take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire; for thereof shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel.ഇതിൽനിന്നു പിന്നെയും നീ അല്പം എടുത്തു തീയിൽ ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയേണം; അതിൽനിന്നു യിസ്രായേൽ ഗൃഹത്തിലേക്കെല്ലാം ഒരു തീ പുറപ്പെടും.

Thus says the Lord GOD; This is Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and countries that are round about her.യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഇതു യെരൂശലേം ആകുന്നു; ഞാൻ അതിനെ ജാതികളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അതിന്നു ചുറ്റും രാജ്യങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടു

And she has changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that are round about her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them.അതു ദുഷ്‌പ്രവൃത്തിയിൽ ജാതികളെക്കാൾ എന്റെ ന്യായങ്ങളോടും, ചുറ്റുമുള്ള രാജ്യങ്ങളെക്കാൾ എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളോടും മത്സരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ന്യായങ്ങളെ അവർ തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞു; എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ അവർ അനുസരിച്ചുനടന്നിട്ടുമില്ല.

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Because all of you multiplied more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about you;അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ജാതികളെക്കാൾ അധികം മത്സരിച്ചു, എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ അനുസരിച്ചുനടക്കാതെയും എന്റെ ന്യായങ്ങളെ പ്രമാണിക്കാതെയും ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ജാതികളുടെ ന്യായങ്ങളെപ്പോലും ആചരിക്കാതെയും ഇരിക്കകൊണ്ടു

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, am against you, and will execute judgments in the midst of you in the sight of the nations.യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഇതാ, ഞാൻ തന്നേ നിനക്കു വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ജാതികൾ കാൺകെ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ നടുവിൽ ന്യായവിധികളെ നടത്തും.

And I will do in you that which I have not done, and unto which I will not do any more the like, because of all yours abominations.ഞാൻ ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ലാത്തതും മേലാൽ ഒരിക്കലും ചെയ്യാത്തതും ആയ കാര്യം നിന്റെ സകല മ്ളേച്ഛതകളും നിമിത്തം ഞാൻ നിന്നിൽ പ്രവർത്തിക്കും.

Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of you, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments in you, and the whole remnant of you will I scatter into all the winds.ആകയാൽ നിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യേ അപ്പന്മാർ മക്കളെ തിന്നും; മക്കൾ അപ്പന്മാരെയും തിന്നും; ഞാൻ നിന്നിൽ ന്യായവിധി നടത്തും; നിന്നിലുള്ള ശേഷിപ്പിനെ ഒക്കെയും ഞാൻ എല്ലാ കാറ്റുകളിലേക്കും ചിതറിച്ചുകളയും.

Wherefore, as I live, says the Lord GOD; Surely, because you have defiled my sanctuary with all your detestable things, and with all yours abominations, therefore will I also diminish you; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നതു: നിന്റെ എല്ലാ വെറുപ്പുകളാലും സകല മ്ളേച്ഛതകളാലും എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തെ നീ അശുദ്ധമാക്കിയതുകൊണ്ടു, എന്നാണ, ഞാനും നിന്നെ ആദരിയാതെ എന്റെ കടാക്ഷം നിങ്കൽനിന്നു മാറ്റിക്കളയും; ഞാൻ കരുണ കാണിക്കയുമില്ല.

A third part of you shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of you: and a third part shall fall by the sword round about you; and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them.നിന്നിൽ മൂന്നിൽ ഒന്നു മഹാമാരികൊണ്ടു മരിക്കും; ക്ഷാമംകൊണ്ടും അവർ നിന്റെ നടുവിൽ മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകും; മൂന്നിൽ ഒന്നു നിന്റെ ചുറ്റും വാൾ കൊണ്ടു വീഴും; മൂന്നിൽ ഒന്നു ഞാൻ എല്ലാ കാറ്റുകളിലേക്കും ചിതറിച്ചുകളകയും അവരുടെ പിന്നാലെ വാളൂരുകയും ചെയ്യും.

Thus shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I the LORD have spoken it in my zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them.അങ്ങനെ എന്റെ കോപത്തിന്നു നിവൃത്തി വരും; ഞാൻ അവരോടു എന്റെ ക്രോധം തീർത്തു തൃപ്തനാകും; എന്റെ ക്രോധം അവരിൽ നിവർത്തിക്കുമ്പോൾ യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ എന്റെ തീക്ഷ്ണതയിൽ അതിനെ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു എന്നു അവർ അറിയും.

Moreover I will make you waste, and a reproach among the nations that are round about you, in the sight of all that pass by.വഴിപോകുന്നവരൊക്കെയും കാൺകെ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ നിന്റെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ശൂന്യവും നിന്ദയുമാക്കും.

¹⁵

So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment unto the nations that are round about you, when I shall execute judgments in you in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I the LORD have spoken it.ഞാൻ കോപത്തോടും ക്രോധത്തോടും കഠിനശിക്ഷകളോടും കൂടെ നിന്നിൽ ന്യായവിധി നടത്തുമ്പോൾ നീ നിന്റെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ജാതികൾക്കു നിന്ദയും ആക്ഷേപവും ബുദ്ധിയുപദേശവും സ്തംഭനഹേതുവും ആയിരിക്കും; യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

When I shall send upon them the evil arrows of famine, which shall be for their destruction, and which I will send to destroy you: and I will increase the famine upon you, and will break your staff of bread:നിങ്ങളെ നശിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ക്ഷാമം എന്ന നാശകരമായ ദുരസ്ത്രങ്ങൾ ഞാൻ എയ്യുമ്പോൾ, നിങ്ങൾക്കു ക്ഷാമം വർദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു നിങ്ങളുടെ അപ്പം എന്ന കോൽ ഒടിച്ചുകളയും.

So will I send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave you: and pestilence and blood shall pass through you; and I will bring the sword upon you. I the LORD have spoken it.നിന്നെ മക്കളില്ലാതെയാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ ക്ഷാമത്തെയും ദുഷ്ടമൃഗങ്ങളെയും നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ അയക്കും; മഹാമാരിയും കുലയും നിന്നിൽ കടക്കും; ഞാൻ വാളും നിന്റെ നേരെ വരുത്തും; യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

Ezekiel 6

And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

Son of man, set your face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them,മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ യിസ്രായേൽപർവ്വതങ്ങളുടെ നേരെ മുഖം തിരിച്ചു അവർക്കു വിരോധമായി പ്രവചിച്ചു പറയേണ്ടതു:

And say, All of you mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus says the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places.യിസ്രായേൽപർവ്വതങ്ങളേ, യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ വചനം കേൾപ്പിൻ! മലകളോടും കുന്നുകളോടും നീരൊഴുക്കുകളോടും താഴ്വരയോടും യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ നേരെ വാൾ വരുത്തും: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ പൂജാഗിരികളെ നശിപ്പിക്കും.

And your altars shall be desolate, and your images shall be broken: and I will cast down your slain men before your idols.നിങ്ങളുടെ ബലിപീഠങ്ങൾ ശൂന്യമാകും; നിങ്ങളുടെ സൂര്യസ്തംഭങ്ങൾ തകർന്നുപോകും; നിങ്ങളുടെ നിഹതന്മാരെ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ വീഴിക്കും.

And I will lay the dead carcasses of the children of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones round about your altars.ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ ശവങ്ങളെ അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ ഇടും; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ അസ്ഥികളെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ബലിപീഠങ്ങൾക്കു ചുറ്റും ചിതറിക്കും.

In all your dwelling places the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.നിങ്ങളുടെ ബലിപീഠങ്ങൾ ഇടിഞ്ഞു ശൂന്യമാകയും നിങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾ തകർന്നു മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകയും നിങ്ങളുടെ സൂര്യസ്തംഭങ്ങളെ വെട്ടിക്കളയുകയും നിങ്ങളുടെ പണികൾ നശിച്ചുപോകയും ചെയ്‍വാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം നിങ്ങൾ പാർക്കുന്നേടത്തൊക്കെയും പട്ടണങ്ങൾ പാഴായും പൂജാഗിരികൾ ശൂന്യമായും തീരും.

And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and all of you shall know that I am the LORD.നിഹതന്മാർ നിങ്ങളുടെ നടുവിൽ വീഴും; ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും.

Yet will I leave a remnant, that all of you may have some that shall escape the sword among the nations, when all of you shall be scattered through the countries.എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങൾ ദേശങ്ങളിൽ ചിതറിപ്പോകുമ്പോൾ വാളിന്നു തെറ്റിപ്പോയവർ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഉണ്ടാകേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ ഒരു ശേഷിപ്പിനെ വെച്ചേക്കും.

And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations where they shall be carried captives, because I am broken with their whorish heart, which has departed from me, and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols: and they shall loathe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.എന്നെ വിട്ടകന്നു പരസംഗം ചെയ്യുന്ന അവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തെയും വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളോടു ചേർന്നു പരസംഗം ചെയ്യുന്ന അവരുടെ കണ്ണുകളെയും ഞാൻ തകർത്തുകളഞ്ഞശേഷം, നിങ്ങളിൽ ചാടിപ്പോയവർ, അവരെ പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽവെച്ചു എന്നെ ഓർക്കും; അവരുടെ സകലമ്ളേച്ഛതകളാലും ചെയ്ത ദോഷങ്ങൾ നിമിത്തം അവർക്കു തങ്ങളോടു തന്നേ വെറുപ്പുതോന്നും.

And they shall know that I am the LORD, and that I have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them.ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്നു അവർ അറിയും; ഈ അനർത്ഥം അവർക്കു വരുത്തുമെന്നു വെറുതെയല്ല ഞാൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതു.

Thus says the Lord GOD; Strike with yours hand, and stamp with your foot, and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ ദോഷകരമായ സകലമ്ളേച്ഛതകളുംനിമിത്തം നീ കൈകൊണ്ടടിച്ചു, കാൽകൊണ്ടു ചവിട്ടി, അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! എന്നു പറക; അവർ വാൾകൊണ്ടും ക്ഷാമം കൊണ്ടും മഹാമാരികൊണ്ടും വീഴും.

He that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that remains and is besieged shall die by the famine: thus will I accomplish my fury upon them.ദൂരത്തുള്ളവൻ മഹാമാരികൊണ്ടു മരിക്കും; സമീപത്തുള്ളവൻ വാൾകൊണ്ടു വീഴും; ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവനും രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടവനും ക്ഷാമംകൊണ്ടു മരിക്കും; ഇങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ എന്റെ ക്രോധം അവരിൽ നിവർത്തിക്കും.

Then shall all of you know that I am the LORD, when their slain men shall be among their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, in all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the place where they did offer sweet savour to all their idols.അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ സകലവിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾക്കും സൌരഭ്യവാസന അർപ്പിച്ച സ്ഥലമായി ഉയരമുള്ള എല്ലാ കുന്നിന്മേലും സകല പർവ്വത ശിഖരങ്ങളിലും എല്ലാപച്ചമരത്തിൻ കീഴിലും തഴെച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാ കരുവേലകത്തിൻ കീഴിലും അവരുടെ നിഹതന്മാർ അവരുടെ ബലിപീഠങ്ങളുടെ ചുറ്റും അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ വീണു കിടക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും.

So will I stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate, yea, more desolate than the wilderness toward Diblath, in all their habitations: and they shall know that I am the LORD.ഞാൻ അവരുടെ നേരെ കൈ നീട്ടി, അവരുടെ സകലവാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും ദേശത്തെ രിബ്ളാമരുഭൂമിയെക്കാൾ അധികം നിർജ്ജനവും ശൂന്യവുമാക്കും; അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ യഹോവയെന്നു അവർ അറിയും.
