Psalms 127

English: Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman wakes but in vain.

Malayalam: യഹോവ വീടു പണിയാതിരുന്നാൽ പണിയുന്നവർ വൃഥാ അദ്ധ്വാനിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവ പട്ടണം കാക്കാതിരുന്നാൽ കാവൽക്കാരൻ വൃഥാ ജാഗരിക്കുന്നു.

English: It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he gives his beloved sleep.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ അതികാലത്തു എഴുന്നേല്ക്കുന്നതും നന്നാ താമസിച്ചു കിടപ്പാൻ പോകുന്നതും കഠിനപ്രയത്നം ചെയ്തു ഉപജീവിക്കുന്നതും വ്യർത്ഥമത്രേ; തന്റെ പ്രിയന്നോ, അവൻ അതു ഉറക്കത്തിൽ കൊടുക്കുന്നു.

English: Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Malayalam: മക്കൾ, യഹോവ നല്കുന്ന അവകാശവും ഉദര ഫലം, അവൻ തരുന്ന പ്രതിഫലവും തന്നേ.

English: As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.

Malayalam: വീരന്റെ കയ്യിലെ അസ്ത്രങ്ങൾ എങ്ങനെയോ അങ്ങനെയാകുന്നു യൌവനത്തിലെ മക്കൾ.

English: Happy is the man that has his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

Malayalam: അവയെക്കൊണ്ടു തന്റെ ആവനാഴിക നിറെച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന പുരുഷൻ ഭാഗ്യവാൻ; നഗരവാതിൽക്കൽവെച്ചു ശത്രുക്കളോടു സംസാരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അങ്ങനെയുള്ളവർ ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകയില്ല.
