Psalms 124

English: If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say;

Malayalam: യിസ്രായേൽ പറയേണ്ടതെന്തെന്നാൽ യഹോവ നമ്മുടെ പക്ഷത്തില്ലായിരുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ

English: If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us:

Malayalam: മനുഷ്യർ നമ്മോടു എതിർത്തപ്പോൾ, യഹോവ നമ്മുടെ പക്ഷത്തില്ലായിരുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ,

English: Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:

Malayalam: അവരുടെ കോപം നമ്മുടെനേരെ ജ്വലിച്ചപ്പോൾ, അവർ നമ്മെ ജീവനോടെ വിഴുങ്ങിക്കളയുമായിരുന്നു;

English: Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:

Malayalam: വെള്ളം നമ്മെ ഒഴുക്കിക്കളയുമായിരുന്നു, നദി നമ്മുടെ പ്രാണന്നു മീതെ കവിയുമായിരുന്നു;

English: Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.

Malayalam: പൊങ്ങിയിരുന്ന വെള്ളം നമ്മുടെ പ്രാണന്നു മീതെ കവിയുമായിരുന്നു.

English: Blessed be the LORD, who has not given us as a prey to their teeth.

Malayalam: നമ്മെ അവരുടെ പല്ലിന്നു ഇരയായി കൊടുക്കായ്കയാൽ യഹോവ വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ.

English: Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.

Malayalam: വേട്ടക്കാരുടെ കണിയിൽനിന്നു പക്ഷിയെന്നപോലെ നമ്മുടെ പ്രാണൻ വഴുതിപ്പോന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; കണി പൊട്ടി നാം വഴുതിപ്പോന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

Malayalam: നമ്മുടെ സഹായം ആകാശത്തെയും ഭൂമിയെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു.
