Psalms 109

English: Hold not your peace, O God of my praise;

Malayalam: എന്റെ പുകഴ്ചയായ ദൈവമേ, മൌനമായിരിക്കരുതേ.

English: For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.

Malayalam: ദുഷ്ടന്റെ വായും വഞ്ചകന്റെ വായും എന്റെ നേരെ തുറന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; ഭോഷ്കുള്ള നാവുകൊണ്ടു അവർ എന്നോടു സംസാരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.

Malayalam: അവർ ദ്വേഷവാക്കുകൾകൊണ്ടു എന്നെ വളഞ്ഞു കാരണംകൂടാതെ എന്നോടു പൊരുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer.

Malayalam: എന്റെ സ്നേഹത്തിന്നു പകരം അവർ വൈരം കാണിക്കുന്നു; ഞാനോ പ്രാർത്ഥന ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.

Malayalam: നന്മെക്കു പകരം തിന്മയും സ്നേഹത്തിന്നു പകരം ദ്വേഷവും അവർ എന്നോടു കാണിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Set you a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.

Malayalam: നീ അവന്റെമേൽ ഒരു ദുഷ്ടനെ നിയമിക്കേണമേ; എതിരാളി അവന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു നിൽക്കട്ടെ.

English: When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.

Malayalam: അവനെ വിസ്തരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവൻ കുറ്റക്കാരനെന്നു തെളിയട്ടെ; അവന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥന പാപമായി തീരട്ടെ.

English: Let his days be few; and let another take his office.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ നാളുകൾ ചുരുങ്ങിപ്പോകട്ടെ; അവന്റെ സ്ഥാനം മറ്റൊരുത്തൻ ഏൽക്കട്ടെ.

English: Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ മക്കൾ അനാഥരും അവന്റെ ഭാര്യ വിധവയും ആയി തീരട്ടെ.

English: Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ മക്കൾ അലഞ്ഞു തെണ്ടിനടക്കട്ടെ. തങ്ങളുടെ ശൂന്യഭവനങ്ങളെ വിട്ടു ഇരന്നു നടക്കട്ടെ;

English: Let the extortionist catch all that he has; and let the strangers spoil his labour.

Malayalam: കടക്കാരൻ അവന്നുള്ളതൊക്കെയും കൊണ്ടു പോകട്ടെ; അന്യജാതിക്കാർ അവന്റെ പ്രയത്നഫലം കൊള്ളയിടട്ടെ.

English: Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children.

Malayalam: അവന്നു ദയ കാണിപ്പാൻ ആരും ഉണ്ടാകരുതേ; അവന്റെ അനാഥരോടു ആർക്കും കൃപ തോന്നരുതേ.

English: Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ സന്തതി മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകട്ടെ; അടുത്ത തലമുറയിൽ തന്നേ അവരുടെ പേർ മാഞ്ഞു പോകട്ടെ;

English: Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ അകൃത്യം യഹോവ ഓർക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ; അവന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ പാപം മാഞ്ഞുപോകയുമരുതേ.

English: Let them be before the LORD continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.

Malayalam: അവ എല്ലായ്പോഴും യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ ഇരിക്കട്ടെ; അവരുടെ ഓർമ്മ അവൻ ഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.

English: Because that he remembered not to show mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart.

Malayalam: അവൻ ദയ കാണിപ്പാൻ മറന്നുകളഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ; എളിയവനെയും ദരിദ്രനെയും മനംതകർന്നവനെയും മരണപര്യന്തം ഉപദ്രവിച്ചു.

English: As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him.

Malayalam: ശാപം അവന്നു പ്രിയമായിരുന്നു; അതു അവന്നു ഭവിച്ചു; അനുഗ്രഹം അവന്നു അപ്രിയമായിരുന്നു; അതു അവനെ വിട്ടകന്നു പോയി.

English: As he clothed himself with cursing like with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.

Malayalam: അവൻ വസ്ത്രംപോലെ ശാപം ധരിച്ചു; അതു വെള്ളംപോലെ അവന്റെ ഉള്ളിലും എണ്ണപോലെ അവന്റെ അസ്ഥികളിലും ചെന്നു.

English: Let it be unto him as the garment which covers him, and for a girdle wherewith he is girded continually.

Malayalam: അതു അവന്നു പുതെക്കുന്ന വസ്ത്രംപോലെയും നിത്യം അരെക്കു കെട്ടുന്ന കച്ചപോലെയും ഇരിക്കട്ടെ.

English: Let this be the reward of mine adversaries from the LORD, and of them that speak evil against my soul.

Malayalam: ഇതു എന്റെ എതിരാളികൾക്കും എനിക്കു വിരോധമായി ദോഷം പറയുന്നവർക്കും യഹോവ കൊടുക്കുന്ന പ്രതിഫലം ആകുന്നു.

English: But do you for me, O GOD the Lord, for your name's sake: because your mercy is good, deliver you me.

Malayalam: നീയോ കർത്താവായ യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ നാമത്തിന്നടുത്തവണ്ണം എന്നോടു ചെയ്യേണമേ; നിന്റെ ദയ നല്ലതാകകൊണ്ടു എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കേണമേ.

English: For I am poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ അരിഷ്ടനും ദരിദ്രനും ആകുന്നു; എന്റെ ഹൃദയം എന്റെ ഉള്ളിൽ മുറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: I am gone like the shadow when it declines: I am tossed up and down as the locust.

Malayalam: ചാഞ്ഞുപോകുന്ന നിഴൽപോലെ ഞാൻ കടന്നുപോകുന്നു; ഒരു വെട്ടുക്കിളിയെപ്പോലെ എന്നെ ചാടിക്കുന്നു.

English: My knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh fails of fatness.

Malayalam: എന്റെ മുഴങ്കാലുകൾ ഉപവാസംകൊണ്ടു വിറെക്കുന്നു. എന്റെ ദേഹം പുഷ്ടിവിട്ടു ക്ഷയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: I became also a reproach unto them: when they looked upon me they shook their heads.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ അവർക്കു ഒരു നിന്ദയായ്തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നെ കാണുമ്പോൾ അവർ തല കുലുക്കുന്നു.

English: Help me, O LORD my God: O save me according to your mercy:

Malayalam: എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, എന്നെ സഹായിക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ ദയെക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ.

English: That they may know that this is your hand; that you, LORD, have done it.

Malayalam: യഹോവേ, ഇതു നിന്റെ കൈ എന്നും നീ ഇതു ചെയ്തു എന്നും അവർ അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.

English: Let them curse, but bless you: when they arise, let them be ashamed; but let your servant rejoice.

Malayalam: അവർ ശപിക്കട്ടെ; നീയോ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കേണമേ; അവർ എതിർക്കുമ്പോൾ ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകട്ടെ; അടിയനോ സന്തോഷിക്കും;

English: Let mine adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle.

Malayalam: എന്റെ എതിരാളികൾ നിന്ദ ധരിക്കും; പുതെപ്പു പുതെക്കുംപോലെ അവർ ലജ്ജ പുതെക്കും.

English: I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ എന്റെ വായ്കൊണ്ടു യഹോവയെ അത്യന്തം സ്തുതിക്കും; അതേ, ഞാൻ പുരുഷാരത്തിന്റെ നടുവിൽ അവനെ പുകഴ്ത്തും.

English: For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul.

Malayalam: അവൻ എളിയവനെ ശിക്ഷെക്കു വിധിക്കുന്നവരുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു രക്ഷിപ്പാൻ അവന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു നില്ക്കുന്നു.
