English: A prayer of Habakkuk the prophet upon Shigionoth.

Malayalam: വിഭ്രമരാഗത്തിൽ ഹബക്കൂക്ക് പ്രവാചകന്റെ ഒരു പ്രാർത്ഥനാഗീതം.

English: O LORD, I have heard your speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive your work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.

Malayalam: യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ നിന്റെ കേൾവി കേട്ടു ഭയപ്പെട്ടുപോയി; യഹോവേ, ആണ്ടുകൾ കഴിയുംമുമ്പെ നിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയെ ജീവിപ്പിക്കേണമേ; ആണ്ടുകൾ കഴിയുംമുമ്പെ അതിനെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തേണമേ; ക്രോധത്തിങ്കൽ കരുണ ഓർക്കേണമേ.

English: God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise.

Malayalam: ദൈവം തേമാനിൽനിന്നും പരിശുദ്ധൻ പാറാൻ പർവ്വതത്തിൽനിന്നും വരുന്നു. സേലാ. അവന്റെ പ്രഭ ആകാശത്തെ മൂടുന്നു; അവന്റെ സ്തുതിയാൽ ഭൂമി നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: And his brightness was as the light; he had horns coming out of his hand: and there was the hiding of his power.

Malayalam: സൂര്യപ്രകാശംപോലെ ഒരു ശോഭ ഉളവായ്‍വരുന്നു; കിരണങ്ങൾ അവന്റെ പാർശ്വത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുന്നു; അവിടെ അവന്റെ വല്ലഭത്വം മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Before him went the pestilence, and burning coals went forth at his feet.

Malayalam: മഹാമാരി അവന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നടക്കുന്നു; ജ്വരാഗ്നി അവന്റെ പിന്നാലെ ചെല്ലുന്നു.

English: He stood, and measured the earth: he beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: his ways are everlasting.

Malayalam: അവൻ നിന്നു ഭൂമിയെ കുലുക്കുന്നു; അവൻ നോക്കി ജാതികളെ ചിതറിക്കുന്നു; ശാശ്വതപർവ്വതങ്ങൾ പിളർന്നുപോകുന്നു; പുരാതനഗിരികൾ വണങ്ങി വീഴുന്നു; അവൻ പുരാതനപാതകളിൽ നടക്കുന്നു.

English: I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction: and the curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ കൂശാന്റെ കൂടാരങ്ങളെ അനർത്ഥത്തിൽ കാണുന്നു; മിദ്യാൻ ദേശത്തിലെ തിരശ്ശീലകൾ വിറെക്കുന്നു.

English: Was the LORD displeased against the rivers? was yours anger against the rivers? was your wrath against the sea, that you did ride upon yours horses and your chariots of salvation?

Malayalam: യഹോവ നദികളോടു നീരസപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നുവോ? നിന്റെ കോപം നദികളുടെ നേരെ വരുന്നുവോ? നീ കുതരിപ്പുറത്തും ജയരഥത്തിലും കയറിയിരിക്കയാൽ നിന്റെ ക്രോധം സമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ നേരെ ഉള്ളതോ?

English: Your bow was made quite naked, according to the oaths of the tribes, even your word. Selah. You did cleave the earth with rivers.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ വില്ലു മുറ്റും അനാവൃതമായിരിക്കുന്നു; വചനത്തിന്റെ ദണ്ഡനങ്ങൾ ആണകളോടുകൂടിയിരിക്കുന്നു. സേലാ. നീ ഭൂമിയെ നദികളാൽ പിളർക്കുന്നു.

English: The mountains saw you, and they trembled: the overflowing of the water passed by: the deep uttered his voice, and lifted up his hands on high.

Malayalam: പർവ്വതങ്ങൾ നിന്നെ കണ്ടു വിറെക്കുന്നു; വെള്ളത്തിന്റെ പ്രവാഹം കടന്നുപോകുന്നു; ആഴി മുഴക്കം പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കുന്നു; ഉയരത്തിലേക്കു കൈ ഉയർത്തുന്നു.

English: The sun and moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of yours arrows they went, and at the shining of your glittering spear.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ അസ്ത്രങ്ങൾ പായുന്ന പ്രകാശത്തിങ്കലും മിന്നിച്ചാടുന്ന കുന്തത്തിന്റെ ശോഭയിങ്കലും സൂര്യനും ചന്ദ്രനും സ്വഗൃഹത്തിൽ നില്ക്കുന്നു.

English: You did march through the land in indignation, you did thresh the heathen in anger.

Malayalam: ക്രോധത്തോടെ നീ ഭൂമിയിൽ ചവിട്ടുന്നു; കോപത്തോടെ ജാതികളെ മെതിക്കുന്നു.

English: You went forth for the salvation of your people, even for salvation with yours anointed; you wounded the head out of the house of the wicked, by discovering the foundation unto the neck. Selah.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ രക്ഷെക്കായിട്ടും നിന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്റെ രക്ഷെക്കായിട്ടും നീ പുറപ്പെടുന്നു; നീ ദുഷ്ടന്റെ വീട്ടിൽനിന്നു മോന്തായം തകർത്തു, അടിസ്ഥാനത്തെ കഴുത്തോളം അനാവൃതമാക്കുന്നു. സേലാ.

English: You did strike through with his staves the head of his villages: they came out as a whirlwind to scatter me: their rejoicing was as to devour the poor secretly.

Malayalam: നീ അവന്റെ കുന്തങ്ങൾകൊണ്ടു അവന്റെ യോദ്ധാക്കളുടെ തല കുത്തിത്തുളെക്കുന്നു; എന്നെ ചിതറിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവർ ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റുപോലെ വരുന്നു; എളിയവനെ മറവിൽവെച്ചു വിഴുങ്ങുവാൻ പോകുന്നതുപോലെ അവർ ഉല്ലസിക്കുന്നു.

English: You did walk through the sea with yours horses, through the heap of great waters.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ കുതിരകളോടുകൂടെ നീ സമുദ്രത്തിൽ, പെരുവെള്ളക്കൂട്ടത്തിൽ തന്നേ, നടകൊള്ളുന്നു.

English: When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he comes up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ കേട്ടു എന്റെ ഉദരം കുലുങ്ങിപ്പോയി, മുഴക്കം ഹേതുവായി എന്റെ അധരം വിറെച്ചു; അവൻ ജനത്തെ ആക്രമിപ്പാൻ പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ കഷ്ടദിവസത്തിൽ ഞാൻ വിശ്രമിച്ചിരിക്കേണ്ടതുകൊണ്ടു എന്റെ അസ്ഥികൾക്കു ഉരുക്കം തട്ടി, ഞാൻ നിന്ന നിലയിൽ വിറെച്ചുപോയി.

English: Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no food; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:

Malayalam: അത്തിവൃക്ഷം തളിർക്കയില്ല; മുന്തിരിവള്ളിയിൽ അനുഭവം ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല; ഒലിവുമരത്തിന്റെ പ്രയത്നം നിഷ്ഫലമായ്പോകും; നിലങ്ങൾ ആഹാരം വിളയിക്കയില്ല; ആട്ടിൻ കൂട്ടം തൊഴുത്തിൽനിന്നു നശിച്ചുപോകും; ഗോശാലകളിൽ കന്നുകാലി ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കയില്ല.

English: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

Malayalam: എങ്കിലും ഞാൻ യഹോവയിൽ ആനന്ദിക്കും; എന്റെ രക്ഷയുടെ ദൈവത്തിൽ ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കും.

English: The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.

Malayalam: യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു എന്റെ ബലം ആകുന്നു; അവൻ എന്റെ കാൽ പേടമാൻ കാൽപോലെ ആക്കുന്നു; ഉന്നതികളിന്മേൽ എന്നെ നടക്കുമാറാക്കുന്നു. സംഗീതപ്രമാണിക്കു തന്ത്രിനാദത്തോടെ.
