Jeremiah 21

English: The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, when king Zedekiah sent unto him Pashur the son of Melchiah, and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest, saying,

Malayalam: സിദെക്കീയാരാജാവു മൽക്കീയാവിന്റെ മകനായ പശ്ഹൂരിനെയും മയസേയാവിന്റെ മകനായ സെഫന്യാപുരോഹിതനെയും യിരെമ്യാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ അയച്ചു:

English: Enquire, I pray you, of the LORD for us; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon makes war against us; if so be that the LORD will deal with us according to all his wondrous works, that he may go up from us.

Malayalam: ബാബേൽരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസർ ഞങ്ങളോടു യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു നീ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു വേണ്ടി യഹോവയോടു അപേക്ഷിക്കേണമേ; അവൻ ഞങ്ങളെ വിട്ടുപോകേണ്ടതിന്നു യഹോവ തന്റെ സകല അത്ഭുതങ്ങൾക്കും ഒത്തവണ്ണം പക്ഷേ ഞങ്ങളോടു പ്രവർത്തിക്കും എന്നു പറയിച്ചപ്പോൾ യിരെമ്യാവിന്നു യഹോവയിങ്കൽനിന്നുണ്ടായ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: Then said Jeremiah unto them, Thus shall all of you say to Zedekiah:

Malayalam: യിരെമ്യാവു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ: നിങ്ങൾ സിദെക്കീയാവോടു ഇപ്രകാരം പറയേണം:

English: Thus says the LORD God of Israel; Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands, wherewith all of you fight against the king of Babylon, and against the Chaldeans, which besiege you without the walls, and I will assemble them into the midst of this city.

Malayalam: യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: മതിലുകൾക്കു പുറമെ നിങ്ങളെ നിരോധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ബാബേൽരാജാവിനോടും കല്ദയരോടും യുദ്ധംചെയ്‍വാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ കയ്യിൽ പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ആയുധങ്ങളെ ഞാൻ മടക്കിച്ചു ഈ നഗരത്തിന്റെ നടുവിൽ കൂട്ടും.

English: And I myself will fight against you with an outstretched hand and with a strong arm, even in anger, and in fury, and in great wrath.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ തന്നേയും നീട്ടിയ കൈകൊണ്ടും ബലമുള്ള ഭുജംകൊണ്ടും കോപത്തോടും ക്രോധത്തോടും അത്യുഗ്രതയോടുംകൂടെ നിങ്ങളോടു യുദ്ധംചെയ്യും.

English: And I will strike the inhabitants of this city, both man and beast: they shall die of a great pestilence.

Malayalam: ഈ നഗരത്തിൽ വസിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യരെയും മൃഗങ്ങളെയും ഞാൻ സംഹരിക്കും; അവർ മഹാമാരിയാൽ മരിക്കും.

English: And afterward, says the LORD, I will deliver Zedekiah king of Judah, and his servants, and the people, and such as are left in this city from the pestilence, from the sword, and from the famine, into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of those that seek their life: and he shall strike them with the edge of the sword; he shall not spare them, neither have pity, nor have mercy.

Malayalam: അതിന്റെ ശേഷം യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ സിദെക്കീയാവെയും അവന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരെയും ജനത്തെയും ഈ നഗരത്തിൽ മഹാമാരി, വാൾ, ക്ഷാമം എന്നിവെക്കു തെറ്റി ഒഴിഞ്ഞവരെ തന്നേ, ഞാൻ ബാബേൽരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസരിന്റെ കയ്യിലും അവരുടെ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ കയ്യിലും അവർക്കു പ്രാണഹാനി വരുത്തുവാൻ നോക്കുന്നവരുടെ കയ്യിലും ഏല്പിക്കും; അവൻ അവരോടു ക്ഷമയോ കനിവോ കരുണയോ കാണിക്കാതെ, അവരെ വാളിന്റെ വായ്ത്തലകൊണ്ടു സംഹരിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: And unto this people you shall say, Thus says the LORD; Behold, I set before you the way of life, and the way of death.

Malayalam: നീ ഈ ജനത്തോടു പറയേണ്ടതു: യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഇതാ, ഞാൻ ജീവന്റെ വഴിയും മരണത്തിന്റെ വഴിയും നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ വെക്കുന്നു.

English: He that abides in this city shall die by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence: but he that goes out, and falls to the Chaldeans that besiege you, he shall live, and his life shall be unto him for a prey.

Malayalam: ഈ നഗരത്തിൽ പാർക്കുന്നവൻ വാൾകൊണ്ടും ക്ഷാമംകൊണ്ടും മഹാമാരികൊണ്ടും മരിക്കും; എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങളെ നിരോധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന കല്ദയരുടെ പക്ഷം ചെന്നുചേരുന്നവനോ ജീവനോടെ ഇരിക്കും; അവന്റെ ജീവൻ അവന്നു കൊള്ള കിട്ടിയതുപോലെ ഇരിക്കും.

English: For I have set my face against this city for evil, and not for good, says the LORD: it shall be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ എന്റെ മുഖം ഈ നഗരത്തിന്നുനോരെ നന്മെക്കല്ല തിന്മെക്കത്രേ വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു. അതിനെ ബാബേൽരാജാവിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കും; അവൻ അതിനെ തീവെച്ചു ചുട്ടുകളയും.

English: And concerning the house of the king of Judah, say, Hear all of you the word of the LORD;

Malayalam: യെഹൂദാരാജഗൃഹത്തോടു നീ പറയേണ്ടതു: യഹോവയുടെ വചനം കേൾപ്പിൻ!

English: O house of David, thus says the LORD; Execute judgment in the morning, and deliver him that is spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor, lest my fury go out like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.

Malayalam: ദാവീദ്ഗൃഹമേ, യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളുടെ ദോഷംനിമിത്തം എന്റെ ക്രോധം തീപോലെ പാളി ആർക്കും കെടുത്തുകൂടാതവണ്ണം കത്താതെയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങൾ ദിവസംതോറും ന്യായം പാലിക്കയും കവർച്ചയായി ഭവിച്ചവനെ പീഡകന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു വിടുവിക്കയും ചെയ്‍വിൻ.

English: Behold, I am against you, O inhabitant of the valley, and rock of the plain, says the LORD; which say, Who shall come down against us? or who shall enter into our habitations?

Malayalam: താഴ്വരയിലും സമഭൂമിയിലെ പാറയിലും പാർക്കയും ആർ ഞങ്ങളുടെ നേരെ വരും? ആർ ഞങ്ങളുടെ പാർപ്പിടങ്ങളിൽ കടക്കും? എന്നു പറകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവരേ, ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: But I will punish you according to the fruit of your doings, says the LORD: and I will kindle a fire in the forest thereof, and it shall devour all things round about it.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളുടെ ഫലത്തിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം നിങ്ങളെ സന്ദർശിക്കും; ഞാൻ അവളുടെ കാട്ടിന്നു തീ വെക്കും; അതു അവളുടെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള സകലത്തെയും ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.
