Isaiah 26

English: In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks.

Malayalam: അന്നാളിൽ അവർ യെഹൂദാദേശത്തു ഈ പാട്ടു പാടും: നമുക്കു ബലമുള്ളോരു പട്ടണം ഉണ്ടു; അവൻ രക്ഷയെ മതിലുകളും കൊത്തളങ്ങളും ആക്കിവെക്കുന്നു.

English: Open all of you the gates, that the righteous nation which keeps the truth may enter in.

Malayalam: വിശ്വസ്തത കാണിക്കുന്ന നീതിയുള്ള ജാതി പ്രവേശിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു വാതിലുകളെ തുറപ്പിൻ.

English: You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you: because he trusts in you.

Malayalam: സ്ഥിരമാനസൻ നിന്നിൽ ആശ്രയം വെച്ചിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു നീ അവനെ പൂർണ്ണസമാധാനത്തിൽ കാക്കുന്നു.

English: Trust all of you in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:

Malayalam: യഹോവയാം യാഹിൽ ശാശ്വതമായോരു പാറ ഉള്ളതിനാൽ യഹോവയിൽ എന്നേക്കും ആശ്രയിപ്പിൻ.

English: For he brings down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he lays it low; he lays it low, even to the ground; he brings it even to the dust.

Malayalam: അവൻ ഉയരത്തിൽ പാർക്കുന്നവരെ ഉന്നതനഗരത്തെതന്നേ താഴ്ത്തി തള്ളിയിട്ടു നിലംപരിചാക്കി പൊടിയിൽ ഇട്ടു കളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: The foot shall tread it down, even the feet of the poor, and the steps of the needy.

Malayalam: കാൽ അതിനെ ചവിട്ടിക്കളയും; എളിയവരുടെ കാലുകളും ദരിദ്രന്മാരുടെ കാലടികളും തന്നേ.

English: The way of the just is uprightness: you, most upright, do weigh the path of the just.

Malayalam: നീതിമാന്റെ വഴി ചൊവ്വുള്ളതാകുന്നു; നീ നീതിമാന്റെ പാതയെ ചൊവ്വായി നിരത്തുന്നു.

English: Yea, in the way of your judgments, O LORD, have we waited for you; the desire of our soul is to your name, and to the remembrance of you.

Malayalam: അതേ, യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ ന്യായവിധികളുടെ പാതയിൽ ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്നെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ നാമത്തിന്നായിട്ടും നിന്റെ സ്മരണക്കായിട്ടും ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഉള്ളം വാഞ്ഛിക്കുന്നു.

English: With my soul have I desired you in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek you early: for when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

Malayalam: എന്റെ ഉള്ളം കൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ രാത്രിയിൽ നിന്നെ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു ഉള്ളിൽ എന്റെ ആത്മാവുകൊണ്ടു തന്നേ ഞാൻ ജാഗ്രതയോടെ നിന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കും; നിന്റെ ന്യായവിധികൾ ഭൂമിയിൽ നടക്കുമ്പോൾ ഭൂവാസികൾ നീതിയെ പഠിക്കും.

English: Let favour be showed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the LORD.

Malayalam: ദുഷ്ടന്നു കൃപ കാണിച്ചാലും അവൻ നീതി പഠിക്കയില്ല; നേരുള്ള ദേശത്തു അവൻ അന്യായം പ്രവർത്തിക്കും; യഹോവയുടെ മഹത്വം അവൻ കാണുകയുമില്ല.

English: LORD, when your hand is lifted up, they will not see: but they shall see, and be ashamed for their envy at the people; yea, the fire of yours enemies shall devour them.

Malayalam: യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ കൈ ഉയർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; അവരോ കാണുന്നില്ല; എങ്കിലും ജനത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള നിന്റെ തീക്ഷ്ണത അവർ കണ്ടു ലജ്ജിക്കും; നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന തീ അവരെ ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും.

English: LORD, you will ordain peace for us: for you also have wrought all our works in us.

Malayalam: യഹോവേ, നീ ഞങ്ങൾക്കായിട്ടു സമാധാനം നിയമിക്കും; ഞങ്ങളുടെ സകലപ്രവൃത്തികളെയും നീ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു വേണ്ടി നിവർത്തിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

English: O LORD our God, other lords beside you have had dominion over us: but by you only will we make mention of your name.

Malayalam: ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, നീയല്ലാതെ വേറെ കർത്താക്കന്മാർ ഞങ്ങളുടെമേൽ കർത്തൃത്വം നടത്തീട്ടുണ്ടു; എന്നാൽ നിന്നെ മാത്രം, നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ തന്നേ, ഞങ്ങൾ സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നു.

English: They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise: therefore have you visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.

Malayalam: മരിച്ചവർ ജീവിക്കുന്നില്ല; മൃതന്മാർ എഴുന്നേല്ക്കുന്നില്ല; അതിന്നായിട്ടല്ലോ നീ അവരെ സന്ദർശിച്ചു സംഹരിക്കയും അവരുടെ ഓർമ്മയെ അശേഷം ഇല്ലാതാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തതു.

English: You have increased the nation, O LORD, you have increased the nation: you are glorified: you had removed it far unto all the ends of the earth.

Malayalam: നീ ജനത്തെ വർദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു; യഹോവേ, ജനത്തെ നീ വർദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു; നീ മഹത്വപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ദേശത്തിന്റെ അതിരുകളെയെല്ലാം നീ വിസ്താരമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: LORD, in trouble have they visited you, they poured out a prayer when your chastening was upon them.

Malayalam: യഹോവേ, കഷ്ടതയിൽ അവർ നിന്നെ നോക്കുകയും നിന്റെ ശിക്ഷ അവർക്കു തട്ടിയപ്പോൾ ജപംകഴിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

English: Like a woman with child, that draws near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and cries out in her pangs; so have we been in your sight, O LORD.

Malayalam: യഹോവേ, പ്രസവം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന ഗർഭണി നോവുകിട്ടി തന്റെ വേദനയിൽ നിലവിളിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ ആയിരുന്നു.

English: We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.

Malayalam: ഞങ്ങൾ ഗർഭം ധരിച്ചു നോവുകിട്ടി പ്രസവിച്ചാറെ, കാറ്റിനെ പ്രസവിച്ചതുപോലെ ഇരുന്നു; ദേശത്തു ഒരു രക്ഷയും ഞങ്ങൾ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിട്ടില്ല; ഭൂവാസികൾ പിറന്നുവീണതുമില്ല.

English: Your dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, all of you that dwell in dust: for your dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ മൃതന്മാർ ജീവിക്കും; എന്റെ ശവങ്ങൾ എഴുന്നേല്ക്കും; പൊടിയിൽ കിടക്കുന്നവരേ, ഉണർന്നു ഘോഷിപ്പിൻ; നിന്റെ മഞ്ഞു പ്രഭാതത്തിലെ മഞ്ഞുപോലെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; ഭൂമി പ്രേതന്മാരെ പ്രസവിക്കുമല്ലോ.

English: Come, my people, enter you into your chambers, and shut your doors about you: hide yourself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation pass over.

Malayalam: എന്റെ ജനമേ, വന്നു നിന്റെ അറകളിൽ കടന്നു വാതിലുകളെ അടെക്ക; ക്രോധം കടന്നുപോകുവോളം അല്പനേരത്തേക്കു ഒളിച്ചിരിക്ക.

English: For, behold, the LORD comes out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

Malayalam: യഹോവ ഭൂവാസികളെ അവരുടെ അകൃത്യംനിമിത്തം സന്ദർശിപ്പാൻ തന്റെ സ്ഥലത്തുനിന്നു ഇതാ, വരുന്നു. ഭൂമി താൻ കുടിച്ച രക്തം ഒക്കെയും വെളിപ്പെടുത്തും; തന്നിലുള്ള ഹതന്മാരെ ഇനി മൂടിവെക്കയുമില്ല.
